- speaker-0: Hey, welcome in Average Home Theater. I am Nelson. speaker-1: Hey, it's producer Nick and we have the power. speaker-0: We have the power. I am wearing a a shirt that is theme appropriate. speaker-1: I believe you think the people ⁓ the people out there can tell ⁓ what we're gonna be talking about today, what we went to see? speaker-0: I sure hope so, since it's like all the rage. ⁓ I think it it really is catching everyone by surprise, I think. Yeah. which I I we'll we'll go ahead and start off by talking about that. How you and I for speaker-1: Yeah. For those of y'all who don't know, we went to see Masters of the Universe last speaker-0: Yeah, Masters of the Universe. I'm sorry, excuse me. Yeah, yeah. you and I were not looking forward to watching this. speaker-1: I had no interest in it whatsoever. I refused to watch the trailers because I caught little glimpses of and I thought it looked like doo doo. speaker-0: Yeah, it did not look good. The f the the first trailer was pretty bad to me. I thought it was going to be it was gonna take place on Earth again. And I was like, man, didn't we didn't we do this already? And it was kind of a failure. Well, it was a failure. It was a colossal failure at the at the theater. And I've tried to watch it recently and I just can't do it. speaker-1: Are you talking about Masters of the Universe? Now you see, I c I I can watch that one. I'm okay with that one because it's something that I grew up on. Right. And Franklella as Skeletour will never be topped. for some reason his his that him and that role, that performance stuck with me over the years and still like I could watch his scenes over and someone someone ⁓ I was talking to someone today at the office and they they called it Othelian. Which I'm pretty sure I might know what that means. ⁓ but yeah, ⁓ that it's something that I watched as a kid. It's something that I watched growing up. I own it on on Blu-ray. I I could I can watch that one. It's not I'm not saying it's great. I'm not saying it's good. Yeah, I'm not I'm not saying that. I'm saying I love it and I could I can watch that one. That's one that I can I've watched multiple times over the years and really enjoy it. speaker-0: Well, I'm the opposite. I can't watch it. I tried to watch it. ⁓ I did not grow up watching the movie. And I mentioned this to you as we were walking up to the theater, that I am not huge on the original cartoon. As a kid, I watched it, but it wasn't the cartoon that I loved. It was these guys. speaker-1: The action figures and the playsets and the castles and vehicles. Yeah. Same. I I remember watching the ⁓ I remember watching the cartoon. I remember liking the cartoon, but it's something that like as an adult I tried to get back into it, the original cartoons and I I I couldn't I couldn't do it. I couldn't do it. I got it I got like halfway through an episode and I called it quits. So yeah. speaker-0: Yeah, it's it it's not very good. So, you know, I've never been when it comes to masters of the universe, I'm not a big lore person because let's be honest, it it's all stupid anyway. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense. They were toys first and they just kind of made stuff up as they went along. So you know, I I'm I'm not one of these that decries, ⁓ He Man is sacred. No, it was it was my favorite toys. Okay. ⁓ this isn't something that I think ⁓ like Star Wars where it was dis it's been disgraced numerous times because it's actually ⁓ the original trilogy is kinda like a masterpiece of cinema. You know, this is this is He Man. You know, and speaker-1: It's a movie it's a movie about some toys. yeah, I mean there's some stuff, you know, talking about the movie and the lore and stuff over the last few days with different people. There's things that I didn't I didn't know. I didn't realize Yeah. I mean I I didn't realize about his father the king and and who Tila was I thought that Tila was Duncan's actual daughter. ⁓ turns out she's actually the daughter of the sorceress and all the and speaker-0: Most of it I don't know. speaker-1: Duncan adopted her and all this stuff. I didn't know all that. Yeah, so things speaker-0: Yeah, meaning I know. I don't even remember who She-Ra was. We we talked about it after the movie. I'm like not there's no spoilers. She Ra is not in this movie. ⁓ but we were talking about Shera and I don't remember who she I just remember She Ra, but I don't remember who she was. If it was his sister or cousin or speaker-1: No idea. She was the she was the answer to sell toys to little girls. Right. She really was, yeah. speaker-0: The little girls. So we're saying all of this to preface that, you know, we what the reason why we didn't want to watch it is just because the trailer didn't look good. It has nothing to do with any type of lore, you know, or anything like it just didn't look good. It looked kind of stupid. speaker-1: Yeah, not that we weren't fans or anything like that. It just didn't look interesting, didn't look well made. It was v the the s the stuff that they showed in the ⁓ in the trailer was very, very C GI heavy. The first trailer which the first trailer. Which it it's a very, very CGI heavy movie. There's just certain things that you can't do with practical ⁓ and some of it was pretty good, some of it was ⁓ and there were some practical effects in there and some costumes and things like that. ⁓ which which speaker-0: Yeah, you can't. speaker-1: saved it for me. I I love that stuff. speaker-0: Yeah. And so the basic premise of the movie is it starts off any I ⁓ the thing I was worried about was the movie was going to take place on Earth again. And I and I remember saying after that first trailer, because the first trailer makes it look like the entire movie takes place on Earth or most of it. And I remember thinking, Why are they doing this again? Like Canon films did that years ago because they had no money, there was no budget, and so they just do it on Earth. Right. Yeah. speaker-1: They couldn't make it. speaker-0: So I I was like, why are they doing that again? To my delight, it's not. A very small portion of the movie takes place on Earth. And I was I was happy about that. speaker-1: And let me let me also let the people know. We have not we went and watched it last night, did not say a word to each other until about the movie until just now. We haven't discussed this. Like I'm I don't even know if you liked it. ⁓ I'm gonna say now I liked it. I was I was very impressed. from what I understand, it it's cons it's is it being considered a flop right now, box office wise, ⁓ movie theater movie. I I think it underperformed, but I don't know if it's flop level. speaker-0: Well it it was like a hundred and seventy million dollar movie and for a movie to make a hundred and seventy million dollars in a weekend, like I yeah, that's gotta be that's a lot and I don't think they're anywhere near that. But I don't know. I haven't looked at the numbers. speaker-1: Well, neither one of us, as we said before, neither one of us had planned on seeing this of the movies had planned on paying to see this. What happened was we started talking to people that saw the movie and hearing just very positive things about it. It's fun, it's a good ride, it's a good adventure, and I agreed. There were some issues. but I after n having not wanting to see it at all, I liked it. I really liked it. I don't regret going. And when this comes out on four K, I will be purchasing it. So that's my that's my r rating of it at speaker-0: We'll start off with the negatives. The things that I just didn't really like. Okay. Yes. Number one, the CGI was pretty bad in some spots. Yes. And I understand, you know, you have to do CGI for eternity. Yes. And there's there's no speaker-1: And and some of these characters. I mean you can't have a you can't have a twelve foot long green talking tiger without CGI. speaker-0: The only character that looked bad CGI wise was cringer. Yes. I'm not it they tried to make him look, I guess they wanted to keep the cartoon look. Yeah. Instead of making him look like a real tiger just green. Yeah. They they tried to make him look cartoony and I didn't like that. speaker-1: Which would explain why he wasn't in it very much. Yeah. ⁓ I think that would that would explain why he wasn't in it very much. The characters looked great when they were up close, dialogue, that kind of thing. Some of the sections when they were fighting, when they were moving around fast, you could tell that was CGI. Some of that stuff looked bad. But I agree with you. The characters for the most part looked awesome. speaker-0: ⁓ It was the backgrounds. It was the when they were having the battles where they're in flying and you know, that type of stuff looked really bad. It it reminded me of ⁓ prequel trilogy effects, a lot of green screen and stuff. Because of what was going on, it had to be CGI. It just it probably could have been executed a little bit better. I don't know. That's just it's twenty twenty six and stuff shouldn't look the same as it looked speaker-1: Yeah. speaker-0: twenty years ago. Yeah. You know, it should look better and it just doesn't. speaker-1: But ha having said that, when you're sitting back and watching it for what it is, it was it was it was fun. It was enjoyable. ⁓ I agree with I agree with that as a as a negative. speaker-0: The negative. The CGI was too hit and miss, but it was more hit than miss. I'll I'll give it that. Yeah. And the only other real negative I had was I felt that the Adam being kind of wimpy. Cause you know, Adam was even in the cartoons, wasn't he kind of a wimp? Prince Adam was kind of wimpy. I mean, he wasn't a he was I don't think it was to the extreme as in this movie. But anyway, I I I just felt that they played that too long. I liked it. I I I I think it was a good choice to do it. Yeah. I just feel that maybe it went on and and that goes into the movie could have been a little bit shorter. It was two hours and fifteen minutes long. You could have cut out 15 minutes of it. speaker-1: That is one of my negatives. It seemed a little long at times, it seemed a little drawn out, but I also have speaker-0: Want it too short at the same time. speaker-1: Well I I'll right after that I have written down I'm not sure what I would have cut. ⁓ you know? And I agree. speaker-0: Could have cut some of these stuff on Earth, could have been cut a little bit shorter. Like yeah, there was a lot of scenes with the the HR lady and stuff like that. Could have been trimmed you trim down a minute here or there, yeah, and all these different scenes, and all of a sudden you got fifteen minutes you could have cut. Yeah. You know, they could have done it. speaker-1: Yeah, you're right. That's I was thinking of Truman, okay, you take fifteen minutes off right here, but yes, a couple of minutes, a minute or so. speaker-0: You trim down these scenes to make them just a little bit shorter. Yeah. And then all of a sudden your movie's fifteen, twenty minutes shorter and it flows a lot better. It's just some of the se some things just some of the jokes and some of the things they were doing just a little too much. speaker-1: A little too much. Yeah. speaker-0: But that's all I have. Everything else, now I'm gonna go into the positives. speaker-1: Well, ⁓ some some of the negatives that I had on i it was a funny movie. It w we laughed out loud several times. Some of the humor got a little racy, which I'm okay with. But if you so if you have little kids go and see this movie, most of it's gonna go over their heads. Right. If you have some kind of fourteen, fifteen year olds, whatever, maybe even thirteen, i it it gets a little racy and one of the jokes, like you said, was used over and over and over again. Okay, we get it. It lots lots of innuendo. and then the the s right, yes, exactly. speaker-0: It's ⁓ it involves this guy. Use your imagination. speaker-1: The guy's name is Fisto. ⁓ I mean that was they they dedicated like three scenes in the movie to that. Yeah. ⁓ and then the one the other one that stood out was when Skeletor was talking about the sword. speaker-0: Yes, that that was that was hilarious to me. But here's speaker-1: Hilarious, but it it didn't fit, man. speaker-0: A the movie was catered to guys our age. speaker-1: Yes, yes. Okay. No doubt. Lots of ⁓ lots of nostalgia. You know, they they did the they did the the laugh at the end and speaker-0: That was hilarious. That was absolut and then they like they kept doing it. Like it this they they were still laughing. They had a whole conversation. He turns speaker-1: It cut from an to another set of characters and then they're back and they're still doing it. Yeah. at one point. They had like a little PSA, the more you know kind of thing. ⁓ speaker-0: Still laughing. Yeah, they i i it so getting back to that, if you go back to movies in the eighties and nine, especially the eighties, Nicholas, the eighties was raunchy. I mean, things that were catered towards us was was way too adult for us to be watching. And they I mean, they made Robocop toys, and Robocop is one of the bloodiest movies ever made. But they made Robocop toys for kids like us. Well no speaker-1: A lot of that was playing on the like so I've been told again. I ha I don't remember the cartoons being like that, but a lot of it played off of the how as time went on and people started to watch it, they started noticing like there's a lot of sexual overtones or undertones, whatever the term is in this cartoon. Like and I think I think they I think they played on that in this movie with homosexuals. Yeah. speaker-0: Sexual undertones. It wasn't just ⁓ sexual native. It was kinda like and SNL, the ambiguously gay duo. You're kinda like that. Yeah, yeah. speaker-1: Well, I mean, think about the scene where he's I don't want to say too much, but think about the scene where he's in the comic shop. You know what I'm talking about? Yeah. With the ⁓ the statue. I mean yeah. There w there was those and the the sword joke and all that, the fisto thing. Yeah, I think I think they were they were playing on that. When you think about it that way, it's brilliant and it's genius. ⁓ is just, you know, some of that stuff. speaker-0: But I mean, to be fair, it was PG thirteen and let's think about PG thirteen movies. Austin Powers, Me, Myself, and Irene. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Like speaker-1: ⁓ me, myself and Irene was definitely rated R. speaker-0: ⁓ that's rated R. But ⁓ something about Mary. That was PG thirteen. And I mean, think about the subject matter. speaker-1: There's no way something about Mary was ⁓ speaker-0: I'm pretty sure it is. Let's look it up. speaker-1: Yeah. That's gotta be an R. You have your IMDP pulled up already. speaker-0: Yeah. ⁓ yeah, it is rated R, you're right. Man speaker-1: gotta be. With all the cursing and the nudity and the and the hair gel and speaker-0: ⁓ I forgot about the nudity. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. I stand corrected. But anyway, ⁓ the Ace Ventura movies, there's the sexual stuff in there. I mean speaker-1: Yeah, those are PG that was PG thirteen for sure. speaker-0: You know, there's there was a PG thirteen can get kinda Yeah. Kinda raunchy. So it can get a little racy. So I don't think it was anything it was a lot more subtle than those movies. speaker-1: A little racy. Yes, definitely. It was it was it wasn't not nearly as overt, but you know, I don't know. I it it it is it was funny. It was funny. Yeah. I just it was I it was a little unexpected, I guess. so let ⁓ just another couple of little things. again, I don't wanna give this too much away, but what they did with Duncan, ⁓ what happened after the first part of the movie. speaker-0: Another positive or you got another negative? Well speaker-1: What he kinda turned into. I didn't I didn't really know about that. I didn't like that too much. Having said that, it resulted in probably the funniest line of the movie when when they call him what they call him. So I I mean I could see him being upset and whatever. Well speaker-0: Like that too much. Yes, yes. Well they had to he had to have an arc though, Nicholas. He had to have he had to be down and come back up. speaker-1: Yeah, and and I I was fine with that, but the ⁓ the the the choice he turned into an what he and never mind. I don't want to say too much. ⁓ that and the only other thing I could say that which we're watching the movie I understand we're watching, but the people aged differently. It was what like sixteen years had passed between what happened in the beginning, fifteen years. Certain characters aged and certain characters didn't. I thought that was kinda That was kinda weird. ⁓ like the mom looked exactly the same. ⁓ speaker-0: Yeah, yeah. I mean she looked a little older, but not everyone grew up. speaker-1: And when I was screwed up, yeah. The ⁓ the fisto guy looked pretty much the same, all that other I mean that was that's a nitpick. ⁓ yeah, 'cause I was trying to find something just something. ⁓ speaker-0: I didn't even really I didn't really I did notice the mom. I was like, ⁓ she looks good for fifteen years older. Right. ⁓ the dad, they made him look older. speaker-1: He just had a longer hair and a long beard. ⁓ speaker-0: So ⁓ yeah, I mean I guess, but I mean I don't think that's really an issue. I mean, we're talking about what the type of and and so taking from that from what you're saying, kind of segues into the movie the positive. The movie knew what it was and what it needed to do. Yes. And there's no way you can make I mean you could try another serious go at it. speaker-1: Yes, speaker-0: 'Cause I would say the Dolph Lungren one was more serious than funny, right? Yes. Yes. So you they could have tried a more serious and look now, this movie is pretty ser I mean, it's not like a straight up comedy. speaker-1: Yeah. Right. It is there's But there is a lot of stuff happening, but there's a lot of humor in it. I I love the direction that they they took it. ⁓ speaker-0: That's what saying. I think it was kind of brilliant what they did. I think it's very difficult to find that balance. Cause if you watch like a a Marvel movie to me, they like I watched that stupid Spider-Man movie with all the different Spider-Mans in it. Toby Maguire came back and blah blah. And I was I was about to vomit if I heard one more joke. Yeah. Because all they did was try to make every scene funny. And it was pissing me off. To the highest of passtivity. And this movie, there were jokes quite often, but a lot of times, like Skeletor, okay, he was saying things being serious, yes, but what he was saying was hilarious. speaker-1: Yes. He was funny without making jokes. speaker-0: Right. Now he also did make some jokes. Yeah. Kind of. But for the most part he just kind of what he was saying was funny. speaker-1: When they they kinda made him because he I think he was a pretty unserious character in the cartoons. In the in the in the Lungren movie, he was all serious. He was he was all work, no play. I think this was a a good mix of that. ⁓ he was he was kinda silly, but he was very dark. He was evil. There was no mistaking. But ⁓ they they it was it was a good mix. the voice was, you know, Jared Leto ⁓ speaker-0: Yeah, he went yeah. speaker-1: You know, that's one of the reasons a lot of people don't want to see this. He nailed it. he speaker-0: I'll go ahead and say Jared Leto was fantastic. So what we have here is another we have another Heath Ledger situation because you and I, well, I don't want to speak for you. I was so upset when Heath Ledger was cast as the Joker because there was no way in hell that this pretty boy was going to be able to play the Joker. speaker-1: I remember that. I remember everyone pretty much going like what? And we were told to trust the process, and they were they were right. speaker-0: And same thing with this, I was like, Jerry really he's gonna ruin another villain. speaker-1: But for the difference between this and that was Heath Ledger was he was a pretty boy, whatever, but he was a good actor. I don't think he had ever done any like not great movies, not good movies or not great roles. Yeah. ⁓ but but Jared Leto had had done some things that were not not very not very popular. Yeah. ⁓ and different different takes on things. Like I I wanna know. speaker-0: Well he just said. If he was in a costume. speaker-1: I think he was. I I think he did the I think all the I think so, yeah. speaker-0: Because in the credits it says skeletor, it doesn't say voice. Like Kristen Wig is that robot and it says voice. Right. So I'm I'm guessing that Jared Leto did the whole thing. speaker-1: Right. I I th I think so. I'd have to look and make sure, but I think he did. ⁓ the voice speaker-0: I don't think anybody knows. Like they haven't really said. speaker-1: Yeah. But I mean, whatever it was, they I feel like they they nailed him. He did a great the voice was awesome. The his eyes, the glowing eyes that would that would be speaker-0: good job with that. I was wondering if it was gonna move because the the only trailer I saw, like they just kind of show his face. I they don't really he's not talking or anything, if I remember correctly. And you just see the the eyes are glowing. Yeah. Yeah, so i they did a good job. I g it it was just motion capture. They just followed his eyes and just put some some red dots over it or whatever. speaker-1: Yeah, it was it was good though. ⁓ Eva Lynn was good, the their their dynamic between the two of them. ⁓ I I could have used a little bit more of her actually, 'cause she was she was speaker-0: Good job. She was sinister and she was loyal to Skeletor, but she didn't agree with everything. But she knew that he would destroy her if she didn't go along with it. speaker-1: And and you kind of feel like she she knows something, like if if his demise came about, maybe she wouldn't be too upset with it kind of thing. Right. But then once again, no spoilers. ⁓ the the the young lady that played ⁓ Tila was really good. She was she was in it just as much like it was almost just as much about her. Not about her, but she had just as much screen time, it seems like speaker-0: the Adam and Tela show. speaker-1: She was great. I'm I'm very glad that they didn't ⁓ I'm very glad that they did not do what I did not want them to do. speaker-0: Correct. speaker-1: Yeah, ⁓ that would have that would have been not right. ⁓ and the way they handle it was again was funny. ⁓ Yeah, it was all around I I really, really enjoyed speaker-0: So how do you feel about Adam or He Man? speaker-1: Thought he did I thought he did really well. ⁓ he had mentioned earlier about him being wimpy. I I didn't really see him as wimpy as much as ⁓ just like the nice guy. You know. Didn't wanted to kinda resolve everything, wanted to talk things out, didn't want to hurt anybody's feelings, didn't really want to conflict. I didn't really see him as as weak, as wimpy, just not the I don't know. speaker-0: Nah, he was he was too willing to run and stuff when the going got tough in the beginning. He was pretty wimpy. I don't mean wimpy by physically. I mean he was just I mean, I've known I've worked with guys in my police career that were nice and big and strong and I weighed 160 pounds silk and wet and they were like scared out of their minds. So when I say wimpy, I don't necessarily mean physically. He was just a wee a wimp. Yeah. speaker-1: Yeah, I this I know what you mean. I just I didn't I didn't see him that way really. speaker-0: The way he was running from Beastman and everything, how he just wanted no part of that. speaker-1: Well, that's before before he had the powers and he was being chased by a nine foot alien beast thing who's flipping over cars and by the way. Yeah, Beastman was was great. ⁓ and again, like I loved so that's one of the reasons that I didn't want to see it at first was because I grew up with Beastman from the Dolph London movie and it was a guy. It was a guy in a costume with big carried speaker-0: It is a giant beast person chasing. speaker-1: body and fangs and growling and you could see it and you could touch it. And I thought that was I still think that's awesome. And this was a big old just a big CGI Beast Man. Turns out wasn't that bad. He was he was he was a good character. ⁓ I I liked it. I I wasn't as bothered by Beastman in this as as I thought I would be. And yeah, he did he did awesome stuff. ⁓ so yeah Beastman was pretty cool. speaker-0: Now I mean spoilers away. speaker-1: I would have I would have been running away from him too. speaker-0: There's an issue with Beast Man towards the end of the movie and I mentioned it to you. So, you know, we're spoiler free, so I won't ⁓ mention it, but you and I will talk after. Yeah. U I found that interesting what what took place there. But ⁓ yeah, man, I think overall they they pretty much killed it with this. And yes. I to answer your question, since yes, we did not discuss this, I was very giddy. Afterwards. As I was driving home, I was like, wow, I cannot believe how much, how much I really enjoyed that because I went in with very low ex my expectations got raised a little bit because of people saying it was good. And I watched some of my trusted fellow YouTubers talk about it. And I was like, okay, if these guys are saying ⁓ we kind of liked it, it had to be at least decent. But I left the theater very happy with what I saw. speaker-1: And I wanna give this some context also. So we had said we were not going to go watch this. And we had also said that we were not going to go watch Mandalorian and Grogu. We went to see this. We did not go to see Mandalorian and Grogu. So just just a little just a little context. The speaker-0: I don't even know if I'm going to ever watch Mandalore and Gro Groups be like that is how little interest I have in that movie. speaker-1: I'll I'll watch it when it comes to streaming, but I'm definitely not gonna go pay to see it for sure. But ⁓ this no regrets, ⁓ I would ⁓ I I w I'm have no regrets paying full price to go see this at the movies. ⁓ it will be a purchase when it comes out on physical media. ⁓ speaker-0: I will pre-order as soon as the pre orders come up. I will be pre ordering. Which I'm a little worried about because it's Amazon. But then I was like, well, no, because Amazon, we have the two Fallout series. So Amazon will put out, you know, their stuff. So we should get a physical release of it. speaker-1: Which I keep forgetting about. I need to watch that second season. I still haven't watched it. speaker-0: Yeah, it's good. Now it's not as good as the first season. Yeah. Of course. ⁓ but where they're going, I think it's I really enjoy it. Plus I just love watching Walton Goggins, you know. speaker-1: So you think you think there's gonna be more? It's not it's not too wind done? speaker-0: No, no, there's there's gonna be a a season three. speaker-1: I need to ⁓ I need a I need to do that. I need to watch that. I need to watch ⁓ I need to finish my my dirty Harry journey. ⁓ save for another video. speaker-0: But before Yeah, well I wanna talk about that for sure. But before we get before we wrap things up, I'll give this well you give your your rating and then I'll give mine. speaker-1: Sure. I'm gonna go seven and a half approaching eight, I think. That's how much I enjoyed it. That's how much fun I had with it, how much joy I got from it. ⁓ I eight eight on eight on the high end, safe seven and a half. And I'm going do do recommend eight. speaker-0: I'm going eight all the way. I thoroughly enjoyed this. It's not perfect. ⁓ but what I and you know, some people the way Mando and Grogu was described to me, ⁓ it's fun. Well, that's fine and dandy, but Star Wars is supposed to be above fun. Okay. So I have a problem when the Star Wars movie is fun. speaker-1: To us, Star Wars is a little bit more it's fine. It's fine for the kids, but for us speaker-0: This and that is perfectly fine being fun. That's what that is supposed to be. Yeah. That's supposed to be fun. And okay, Star Wars is supposed to be special. Yeah. And it's just not anymore and it makes me sad. So this is an eight to me because they understood the assignment, they knew what they had to do, and they executed it very well. And I really enjoyed it. speaker-1: Same. I look look forward to watching it again. And ⁓ yeah, I I I agree. I I can't argue with an eight. it it it did its job. It was it was a blast. It was a blast for sure. speaker-0: So I can't wait to watch it in my average home theater. Hopefully it's hopefully it's in Dolby Atmos and because there are a lot of scenes that if if an Atmos mix is done properly, it should sound amazing. We were in just a regular theater, so there was no Atmos effects. But yeah, it it got pretty loud in that regular theater that we were in and it it looked and sounded pretty, pretty good. So I can't wait to hear it or see it. speaker-1: Same. Same, same. Yep. Cool deal. Go go see it. Go see it. speaker-0: Masters of the universe. Correct. Especially if you are our age and a little bit older. If you're in that forty five to fifty range, there's no doubt that I I'm more than sure you will enjoy this movie. speaker-1: Yeah. So and to that point, ⁓ kind of one last thing. We went to see it with Jacob who's fifteen. He didn't enjoy it as much. But that's just just j like you said, our age, we got a whole lot more out of it than he did. He didn't not like it, but it was for him it was just okay. I thought it was way better than just okay. But there's it was there's some stuff like That we recognize that ⁓ I s I see what they did there. I remember that and we just got a whole lot more out of it. Just like he liked the five nights at Freddy's movies and I didn't s you know. But ⁓ yeah. Definitely speaker-0: Yes, Jared Leto absolutely killed Skeletor. Like in a good way, not in a bad way. speaker-1: No no he didn't nail it. Yeah. without the way that character was done, it wouldn't have been as good. He he he made it. speaker-0: And it's a testament to the writing. I mean, they they wrote some good stuff for him to say. Yeah. Because some of the stuff that he was saying was it was really good. Yeah. You know. All of the jokes landed. Not everything landed, but i way more jokes landed than jokes that didn't land, you know. Yeah. speaker-1: Yeah. Yep, definitely. Definitely recommend it. speaker-0: Well, that'll wrap it up. Like, subscribe, tell your friends, and we'll catch you on the next one. speaker-1: See ya.
