Vestavia Hills is set to dramatically ramp up spending in 2027 with a proposed $146 million budget — an 18.5% jump — fueled by its “Plan for Growth.” Major investments include $34 million in capital projects, $15 million in infrastructure and community spaces, and $46 million in new debt. Roads will be resurfaced, stormwater systems upgraded, and Fire Station 4 renovated — plus two new fire trucks and a brand-new police training facility.
