- 0:10Speaker 1: Shooters. Hello, Hello, Hello, welcome to the Naughty but Nice Show.
- 0:17Speaker 1: It's Monday. It's Monday, which means joining us today is
- 0:22Speaker 1: our long lost friend. We've not spoken in two weeks.
- 0:26Speaker 1: It's been a vacation for our mates. But he is back.
- 0:30Speaker 1: The one, the only Garrett Vogel.
- 0:33Speaker 2: The Summer of Garrett is officially over Robshooter. I am
- 0:37Speaker 2: back in action. I'm all yours until you kick me
- 0:40Speaker 2: out of here. I thought you were going to change
- 0:41Speaker 2: the locks and the password on the zoom room, but no,
- 0:44Speaker 2: here we are.
- 0:45Speaker 1: How are you you're going nowhere? Hey, I'm glad you
- 0:48Speaker 1: had a hot girl summer. I'm glad you had a
- 0:50Speaker 1: hot boys summer. You were out there dancing and singing
- 0:52Speaker 1: seeing shows.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Oh yeah, And I have a question, is is things
- 0:56Speaker 2: okay in the home front? Because I saw that Bruce
- 1:00Speaker 2: looks like he picked up another job.
- 1:01Speaker 1: He was furious working. Are you thank you for asking Bruce.
- 1:07Speaker 1: My husband is a songwriter, a playwriter. He has a
- 1:09Speaker 1: show coming to Broadway called Harmony, and it's a lot
- 1:13Speaker 1: of work. They started rehearsals last week. They opened the
- 1:16Speaker 1: box office. I shoved him in the box office window
- 1:18Speaker 1: with his collaborator Barry Mandelo. They sold tickets and then
- 1:21Speaker 1: they started rehearsals. It was wild. They had like a
- 1:24Speaker 1: line around the box office. People don't go to box
- 1:27Speaker 1: offices anymore. They buy them on ticket Masters, So we
- 1:29Speaker 1: wanted to recreate this like old school feel. And so
- 1:33Speaker 1: the two of them were in the box office. I
- 1:34Speaker 1: think they signed like the first hundred tickets, maybe more.
- 1:38Speaker 1: They didn't leave until the line was done, which was
- 1:40Speaker 1: an awfully kind thing for them to do. But it
- 1:42Speaker 1: was really exciting. And then on Saturday, I was lucky
- 1:45Speaker 1: enough to sneak into rehearsals. So everything isn't just okay, Garrett,
- 1:49Speaker 1: It's flipping fabulous at the moment.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Let me tell you a little little hint about buying
- 1:55Speaker 2: tickets at the box office. If you come to New
- 1:57Speaker 2: York or go to any Broadway show, you save. I
- 2:00Speaker 2: love the extra charger, all those charges, you know, the
- 2:04Speaker 2: the forty five dollars tissue fee, you know like that
- 2:07Speaker 2: you get online, Like the sixty five processing fee to print.
- 2:11Speaker 1: A digital ticket.
- 2:14Speaker 2: My mom has. Every time we get Broadway tickets from
- 2:16Speaker 2: my mother and she goes to the box office, she
- 2:19Speaker 2: drives into the city, she buys just say she probably
- 2:23Speaker 2: she probably loses the money on the calls and she
- 2:25Speaker 2: breaks even at the end of the day. But but
- 2:27Speaker 2: still it's the it's the idea of that.
- 2:29Speaker 1: It's a good tip. Go to the box office. You
- 2:30Speaker 1: don't have to pay those fees. Okay, let's jump into
- 2:33Speaker 1: a show. What time is it? My friend's tea time? Okay,
- 2:36Speaker 1: this is a serious story. At the top of the show,
- 2:38Speaker 1: so me, Lacunas and Astro and Kutcher are now saying
- 2:43Speaker 1: they support victims following the backlash over their letters supporting
- 2:49Speaker 1: Danny Masterson. Let me explain. So Ashton and Mila, they
- 2:54Speaker 1: wrote several letters asking for leniency in the Danny Masterson sentencing. Now,
- 3:02Speaker 1: let me remind you what that is. Masterson was sentenced
- 3:06Speaker 1: to thirty years in prison after being convicted for two
- 3:11Speaker 1: counts of rape. They starred alongside him in the seventies show.
- 3:16Speaker 1: So they sent letters to the judge, to the court
- 3:20Speaker 1: asking them to be lenient in the sentencing. Now those
- 3:24Speaker 1: letters have come out and these two are really in
- 3:28Speaker 1: a firestorm. This is now a convicted rapist that it
- 3:32Speaker 1: looks like they were supporting. They said, quote, we are
- 3:36Speaker 1: aware of the pain that has been caused by the
- 3:39Speaker 1: character letters that we wrote on behalf of Danny. We
- 3:43Speaker 1: support victims. We have done this historically through our work
- 3:48Speaker 1: and will continue to do it in the future. Now
- 3:50Speaker 1: you know things are bad, Garrett when they have to
- 3:52Speaker 1: issue a statement about.
- 3:54Speaker 2: That immediately, not like a week, It was immediately. And
- 3:59Speaker 2: it's interesting because then the stories start coming out too,
- 4:02Speaker 2: of people going, I don't know, though, he might be
- 4:06Speaker 2: a good guy for the past thirty years, but what
- 4:08Speaker 2: about thirty years ago when he was acting this crazy?
- 4:12Speaker 2: And I mean even Lea Remi was chiming in, going, well,
- 4:16Speaker 2: it looks like scientology can't help him out here here.
- 4:19Speaker 2: So I mean, we hear about these underlying stories like
- 4:23Speaker 2: oh the dark Hollywood, but now we're actually, you know,
- 4:25Speaker 2: seeing it in this you know, like did you see
- 4:28Speaker 2: the clip of Conan O'Brien from a few thirty years ago.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Yeah, he seemed to know there was a secret, he said,
- 4:33Speaker 1: one day, you'll be caught. Christina Ricci too, She put
- 4:36Speaker 1: out a statement on social media really slamming Ashton and Miela,
- 4:41Speaker 1: saying that sometimes we can love people who do horrible things.
- 4:46Speaker 1: It's very complicated. It opens up this whole discussion, doesn't
- 4:49Speaker 1: it that just because somebody's nice to me does not
- 4:52Speaker 1: mean they're nice to other people, right, And you've got
- 4:56Speaker 1: to really take that into account. If you want to
- 4:58Speaker 1: write a less a reference, a recommendation for a friend,
- 5:03Speaker 1: really think about it. Really think about what your words
- 5:06Speaker 1: are saying and what you want the outcome to be. Here,
- 5:09Speaker 1: Like now, I think it's quite an easy jump to
- 5:13Speaker 1: put the dots together and to argue that Meela and
- 5:17Speaker 1: Ashton believe somebody who committed two rapes should get a
- 5:21Speaker 1: light sentence. Now, that's what their letter is saying. I
- 5:24Speaker 1: know they wouldn't say that personally, and they're pushing back
- 5:26Speaker 1: on that really hard, but it feels a little bit
- 5:29Speaker 1: like they want it both ways.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Yeah, that's why they wanted it. And the other interesting
- 5:33Speaker 2: thing too, is do you remember the e true Hollywood
- 5:35Speaker 2: story one wants all around that that seventy show about
- 5:39Speaker 2: the dynamic of the cast on and offset. Everyone thought
- 5:42Speaker 2: that Telfer Grace was just a complete diva able because
- 5:45Speaker 2: he wasn't hanging out with Meela and Ashton and Danny
- 5:50Speaker 2: and Wilmer, and everybody's like, oh, he's secluded from the cast.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Tolf it looks like Taufer is coming out on the
- 5:56Speaker 2: positive side thirty years later because he saw this way
- 6:02Speaker 2: of acting and he's like, not.
- 6:04Speaker 1: For me, want part of that? Yeah, it's really interesting.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Careful who your friends are, Be careful who you hang
- 6:09Speaker 1: out with. It does say a lot about you. I
- 6:11Speaker 1: don't want to take the emphasis of him here. I
- 6:14Speaker 1: don't want to take it off. This awful this this danny,
- 6:18Speaker 1: this monstrous person. But Miela and Ashton did it to
- 6:22Speaker 1: themselves by sending these letters. Legally, they didn't have to
- 6:25Speaker 1: send them, they wanted to send them. It's very interesting.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I'm trying to think of another example of this, and
- 6:32Speaker 1: I remember when Katie Kuric found out about Matt Lauer
- 6:34Speaker 1: and all the terrible things that Matt had been accused
- 6:37Speaker 1: of doing. Matt did not go to court, though, let's
- 6:39Speaker 1: point that out. Katie said she didn't know this Matt,
- 6:43Speaker 1: the Mat that she knew wouldn't have done this. However,
- 6:46Speaker 1: she totally believed what was being said. She totally supported
- 6:51Speaker 1: the victims, and it changed her friendship fundamentally with this person.
- 6:56Speaker 1: I think Katie handled it maybe a better way than
- 7:00Speaker 1: Ashton and Mela. Well.
- 7:01Speaker 2: I think they're a little bit blinded because again they're like,
- 7:05Speaker 2: you know, we know it's kind of true, but we
- 7:07Speaker 2: also he's our friend, you know, and we're gonna we're
- 7:10Speaker 2: gonna support our friend to the end. And it's it's
- 7:14Speaker 2: just such a It's one of those things that confuses
- 7:17Speaker 2: your mind because Ashton and Mila, you know, you know,
- 7:21Speaker 2: are such big advocates behind stopping sex trafficking, yes, and
- 7:26Speaker 2: and all these things, promoting people that that that are
- 7:30Speaker 2: being affected by by, you know, sex crimes and underade sex.
- 7:35Speaker 2: And then to see them support this, you're like, what
- 7:40Speaker 2: that's what you get. There's no right answer, and there's
- 7:42Speaker 2: no yet Like it's weird.
- 7:44Speaker 1: It's weird, isn't it. That's what I'm talking about it
- 7:46Speaker 1: here on the Naughty but Nice Show. We're friends here,
- 7:48Speaker 1: we can we can do this. But it brings us
- 7:50Speaker 1: to our whole question of the day. I want to
- 7:51Speaker 1: know what you think about this. Amela and Ashton say
- 7:54Speaker 1: that they do support victims following the backlash over their
- 7:58Speaker 1: letters supporting Do you think they want it both ways?
- 8:03Speaker 1: Do they want it both ways? That's a tough question. Hey,
- 8:05Speaker 1: go vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob
- 8:08Speaker 1: at Facebook pages naughty gossip and be sure to check
- 8:12Speaker 1: back tomorrow to hear your results. Another tough story, Garrett,
- 8:16Speaker 1: What are you working on? All? Right?
- 8:17Speaker 2: So we all know Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner, the back
- 8:20Speaker 2: and forth up until last week of are they married?
- 8:23Speaker 2: They're not married? Well, they are getting a divorce unfortunately,
- 8:26Speaker 2: And it turns out that all these other stories are
- 8:30Speaker 2: coming out now of like a Nickelodeon alum, Alexa Nicholas
- 8:34Speaker 2: said that Joe Jonas, she was on Zoe one on one,
- 8:37Speaker 2: by the way, with Britney Spears's sister back in the
- 8:39Speaker 2: day that when they were teenagers, Joe Jonas asked for
- 8:42Speaker 2: nudes on Twitter or X I met Joe Jonas when
- 8:46Speaker 2: we were teens. Let's just say he's the guy who
- 8:49Speaker 2: who wore a purity ring but asked for nudes. Here's
- 8:53Speaker 2: my feelings towards that. I get that it could have happened,
- 8:57Speaker 2: but why why now? Why not that up then in
- 9:01Speaker 2: the midst of a divorce. You know, he's not getting
- 9:03Speaker 2: divorced over these these pictures or the claims. It's just
- 9:06Speaker 2: it feels like bad timing on that one. But Joejonas,
- 9:10Speaker 2: even on over the weekend, him and the Brothers were
- 9:13Speaker 2: out in Dodger Stadium and Joejonas kind of addressed all
- 9:18Speaker 2: the rumors that are out there pretty much just said,
- 9:20Speaker 2: if you don't hear it from my mouth, don't believe it,
- 9:23Speaker 2: which you could take it anyway you want, but at
- 9:25Speaker 2: least he kind of addressed it because there are some
- 9:28Speaker 2: crazy rumors coming from both sides of the Sophie Turner
- 9:31Speaker 2: Joe Jonas divorce, of ring cameras and drinking, and so
- 9:37Speaker 2: Jojonas kind of addressing it, which you really don't see really.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Everybody just normally stays quiet and let their quote unquote
- 9:43Speaker 2: friends and closest sis talks with them, right.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Talk to people like me. I sort of agree with
- 9:48Speaker 1: you here. However, Joe didn't tell us anything. Telling us
- 9:51Speaker 1: only to believe what he say is right is something
- 9:54Speaker 1: that I'm not totally buying here. He's not the messiah
- 9:57Speaker 1: like Joe. Just because you don't say it that mean
- 10:00Speaker 1: it's not true. Like Joe didn't really tell us about
- 10:02Speaker 1: the divorce reporting did. Joe didn't tell us about these
- 10:05Speaker 1: nude pictures. The lady in the Nickelodeon show did. So
- 10:08Speaker 1: there's a lot of really good reporting out here. I
- 10:10Speaker 1: think what's going on there when you talk about timing,
- 10:13Speaker 1: is that when they broke up, it felt to a
- 10:17Speaker 1: lot of people, maybe even Alexa, that Joe's team, Let's
- 10:21Speaker 1: not say Joe, let's say his team. His friends were
- 10:24Speaker 1: pushing this narrative that Sophie was a terrible mother. He
- 10:28Speaker 1: even had some paparazzi pictures taken of him and the
- 10:31Speaker 1: kids in La being all perfect together. They looked very
- 10:35Speaker 1: stage to me. And then we hear about a doorbell. Well,
- 10:38Speaker 1: there's not a lot of people who can know about that.
- 10:40Speaker 1: It feels now like her team are saying, if you
- 10:43Speaker 1: want to play this nasty game, we'll fight back. I've
- 10:45Speaker 1: been through this. I went through it with Jessica and
- 10:47Speaker 1: Nick when I was Jessica's publicist. Jessica played rough. Jessica
- 10:52Speaker 1: played rough. I went through it with j Lo and
- 10:54Speaker 1: Ben Affleck. Jennifer doesn't lie down either. So I'm not
- 10:57Speaker 1: saying too much here. But what I am telling you
- 10:59Speaker 1: is that when these divorces happen, you have a choice,
- 11:02Speaker 1: and you have this in your private life. You don't
- 11:04Speaker 1: have to be a celebrity to agree here. Do you
- 11:06Speaker 1: want this to be decent, and do you want this
- 11:08Speaker 1: to be amicable or do you want to play dirty
- 11:11Speaker 1: and your feelings are hurt. You're probably upset, you want
- 11:14Speaker 1: to slap somebody. You want to throw a punch, not
- 11:16Speaker 1: a pinch. And that's a horrible spiral that I think
- 11:19Speaker 1: these both of them are going down.
- 11:22Speaker 2: If it's any anything amicable, you would think at least
- 11:25Speaker 2: in some form of way. Yes, they put out the
- 11:27Speaker 2: quote unquote joint statement together, but you would think after
- 11:31Speaker 2: you see these stories of you know, Sophie just likes
- 11:34Speaker 2: to party, she does like to be around the kids,
- 11:38Speaker 2: Joe Jonas would at least say, you know what, none
- 11:41Speaker 2: of this, none of this is true. Yes he said,
- 11:43Speaker 2: you could say he kind of addressed it over the weekend.
- 11:46Speaker 1: But I would have gone further.
- 11:47Speaker 2: But then the other interesting thing, and I think you
- 11:49Speaker 2: could tell us a little bit more too, is you
- 11:52Speaker 2: were talking about him being outside having lunch now in
- 11:58Speaker 2: La of all places. And I've learned that if you
- 12:01Speaker 2: want to be caught having doing anything, you.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Eat outside, they can't catch you inside. Yeah. Right, If
- 12:07Speaker 1: I take you out for lunch for dinner, and I
- 12:09Speaker 1: insist that we sit outside and we sit in the window,
- 12:12Speaker 1: there's probably a paparazzi across the street. Now, if we
- 12:14Speaker 1: sit in the back of the restaurant, there's no paps.
- 12:16Speaker 1: So this is all feels very very staged to me.
- 12:18Speaker 1: It makes me, you know, as a gossip columnist, I
- 12:20Speaker 1: love all the drama. I love talking about this, but
- 12:23Speaker 1: as a human being, it just makes me sad. And
- 12:25Speaker 1: that's why all these stories are coming out now, because
- 12:27Speaker 1: people feel like he is attacking her, the mother of
- 12:30Speaker 1: his children, and that's why people are coming out for
- 12:32Speaker 1: their Joe's stories. Okay, let's move along. We've got so
- 12:35Speaker 1: much to get into today's show. Jimmy Fallon has apologized
- 12:39Speaker 1: after accusations of a toxic work environment, and now an
- 12:44Speaker 1: old video of Martin Short rest in him has gone viral.
- 12:47Speaker 1: So Martin Short was talking to Jimmy years ago and
- 12:51Speaker 1: was really sort of having a few digs at Jimmy,
- 12:55Speaker 1: saying that he knows that Jimmy only pretends to be
- 13:00Speaker 1: a nice guy. So he made these jokes a long
- 13:04Speaker 1: time ago, and I must admit they look like jokes
- 13:06Speaker 1: to me. And Martin is known to do this. He's
- 13:09Speaker 1: known to make fun of celebrities, but with Jimmy, He said,
- 13:12Speaker 1: I know, you pretend to be a nice guy, implying
- 13:15Speaker 1: that you're not really a nice guy. And now people
- 13:17Speaker 1: are saying, oh, did Martin Short know? That's the question
- 13:19Speaker 1: that everyone's asking inside NBC. NBC is a small building,
- 13:23Speaker 1: thirty Rock is pretty small and everybody that I know
- 13:27Speaker 1: who is working there, I'm not doubting that Jimmy was naughty.
- 13:30Speaker 1: He's apologized, he's admitted he was not a great guy.
- 13:33Speaker 1: What they're saying now is who knew about this? Did
- 13:36Speaker 1: Savannah and Hoder know? Did Lester Holt know? Who knew
- 13:39Speaker 1: about this?
- 13:40Speaker 2: Here's how I also look at it too, because you've
- 13:44Speaker 2: been I've seen some other viral clips too, where it's
- 13:47Speaker 2: like just a few people you know, and then others
- 13:50Speaker 2: are like Jerry Seinfeld even came out and said how
- 13:52Speaker 2: ridiculous the Rolling Stone story?
- 13:54Speaker 1: He did? He did, but Jerry did did defriend Kramer
- 13:57Speaker 1: for using a racist term too. So Jerry's not the
- 14:00Speaker 1: best baby barometer here on defending people. He has defended
- 14:04Speaker 1: sort of some some shady things in the past.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Well, yes, and and and I can't argue that part
- 14:10Speaker 2: part of it. But I also see that you know,
- 14:13Speaker 2: I liked how follon quickly. He didn't. He didn't wait.
- 14:15Speaker 2: He didn't wait a month. He didn't let this thing
- 14:18Speaker 2: die out. He goes, you know what, I'll get in
- 14:19Speaker 2: front of it. I am sorry.
- 14:21Speaker 1: He got, he got.
- 14:22Speaker 2: He got everybody on zoom like during a whole strike
- 14:25Speaker 2: where you're not getting paid. Everybody got in the Zoom room.
- 14:28Speaker 2: For him to make a public apology.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Yeah, no he did. He jumped on it quickly with
- 14:31Speaker 1: his staff, but not the public yet. Should he sit
- 14:33Speaker 1: down on the Today Show? Should he do a statement?
- 14:35Speaker 1: Should he tell us his made mistakes? Ellen did eventually,
- 14:38Speaker 1: but he took her a while to get there. I don't.
- 14:41Speaker 2: I don't think so, because here's the thing. I mean,
- 14:43Speaker 2: I think we know how the show, the show dynamic works, right.
- 14:46Speaker 2: It's not like everybody that works for the show reports
- 14:50Speaker 2: to Jimmy. Jimmy has, you know, kind of like a
- 14:53Speaker 2: a source around him, like a like an outside layer
- 14:56Speaker 2: of producers, executive producers, and then they come to him with, Hey,
- 15:00Speaker 2: here's the idea, here's what we're doing. So they're just
- 15:03Speaker 2: watching Jimmy like Jimmy might come in and we've all
- 15:06Speaker 2: come into work like all and then people judge, you
- 15:09Speaker 2: know what I mean, Like you're not necessarily interacting with Jimmy,
- 15:12Speaker 2: you're seeing him walk down the hallway, and then you're
- 15:15Speaker 2: forming an opinion based off of that.
- 15:16Speaker 1: By now. But people are not saying that he's not friendly.
- 15:19Speaker 1: People are saying that he was really toxic. And there
- 15:22Speaker 1: is a difference. Like I would guess if you interviewed
- 15:24Speaker 1: everybody that worked with me for me, around me, you know,
- 15:27Speaker 1: maybe twenty percent of them would say he can be bossy,
- 15:30Speaker 1: he can be grumpy. It's all true, but I'm not toxic.
- 15:33Speaker 1: I mean, I know the difference, Like you know the difference.
- 15:35Speaker 1: We've all got jobs. Think of somebody you work with
- 15:38Speaker 1: who's difficult. We've all got them in our office wherever
- 15:40Speaker 1: we work. But there is a lion, and I think
- 15:43Speaker 1: that's what happened with Ellen. I'm scared that that's what's
- 15:46Speaker 1: happened with Jimmy here. And I think apologizing to the
- 15:49Speaker 1: staff is smart. I think he should sit down with
- 15:52Speaker 1: Savannah and Hoder and tell the world that that Jimmy
- 15:55Speaker 1: is no longer and moving forward, this is not the
- 15:58Speaker 1: way it's going to.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Be, you know, And I think that's the that's the conversation.
- 16:02Speaker 2: The whole world is having just about everything in life,
- 16:05Speaker 2: you know, Like there's a bunch of people where you know,
- 16:08Speaker 2: just in life, everybody's not going to be happy, right,
- 16:11Speaker 2: you know what I mean? And everybody wants the best,
- 16:14Speaker 2: you know, And there's some people and I think we
- 16:16Speaker 2: all work with them too where it's like I deserve this.
- 16:20Speaker 2: We're in a world right now where you can turn
- 16:22Speaker 2: to Rolling Stone and Rolling Stone goes. Let me get
- 16:25Speaker 2: my pen and paper.
- 16:26Speaker 1: In defensive roaming Stone though. And I do know people
- 16:29Speaker 1: that work there. They are a real news outlet. Like
- 16:31Speaker 1: you can't just call them up and say, Jimmy was
- 16:33Speaker 1: rude to me at Starbucks. Like you can't just call
- 16:35Speaker 1: up and say, oh, as a waiter and Jimmy was rude.
- 16:37Speaker 1: They're fourteen staffers. We've got to take a quick break
- 16:40Speaker 1: and we will be right back. Welcome back to the
- 16:44Speaker 1: Naughty but Night Show. I'm up to shooting. It's a
- 16:46Speaker 1: different Garrett vocal. Hey, Garrett, let's get to the polls.
- 16:51Speaker 1: So tonight show staffers claimed that Jimmy Fallon is a
- 16:55Speaker 1: erratic and often seemed drunk in a toxic workplace. I
- 16:59Speaker 1: question Mark, should they replace him with Tina Faye. What
- 17:02Speaker 1: do you think about that? Is it time to have
- 17:04Speaker 1: a female in late night on the network? I know
- 17:07Speaker 1: we have Samantha b Or we did. I don't think
- 17:09Speaker 1: her shares around anymore. And Chelsea Handler we had her
- 17:11Speaker 1: on cable. Is it time to have Tina Fay? Let's
- 17:14Speaker 1: have a look. Eighty two percent said yes, it is
- 17:16Speaker 1: time to switch Jimmy out and get Tina in. Don't
- 17:19Speaker 1: forget to vote on today's poll. Go to our Twitter
- 17:22Speaker 1: page at not too nice rob at Facebook page is
- 17:24Speaker 1: not what he got him? I'm is sure to check
- 17:27Speaker 1: back tomorrow to hear your results. Now it's time for
- 17:31Speaker 1: our nicest of the day.
- 17:34Speaker 2: All right, here we go. Well, let's talk about Marilyn
- 17:37Speaker 2: Monroe too. I mean I've only seen pictures. I wish
- 17:41Speaker 2: I kind of was around when she was there, just
- 17:43Speaker 2: to see the impact she had on the world, from
- 17:47Speaker 2: from dating to movies being captured every sec. I feel
- 17:54Speaker 2: like that's what kind of like a Kim Kardashian is
- 17:56Speaker 2: right now? You know what I mean? Marilyn or and role.
- 18:00Speaker 1: See what you saying? No, it's excitement, it's that star power.
- 18:03Speaker 1: We don't have movie stars anymore do we We don't
- 18:05Speaker 1: have Maybe Julia Roberts is the last one, or George Clooney,
- 18:08Speaker 1: maybe Brad Pitt. But she's a movie star.
- 18:11Speaker 2: So her Brentwood home out in LA was granted a
- 18:15Speaker 2: temporary reprieve from demolition. Uh, you know you got you
- 18:20Speaker 2: gotta love real estate moguls out in count nell A.
- 18:23Speaker 2: You know what, Let's let's take Marilyn Monroe's home, the
- 18:26Speaker 2: history behind it and just knock it down. Knock it down,
- 18:30Speaker 2: put up a two family you know, like.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Why they're gonna knock down Marilyn Monroe's house?
- 18:34Speaker 2: What like you you would like but but you know what,
- 18:39Speaker 2: if you go on the Hollywood Tours, Rob, that would
- 18:41Speaker 2: no matter. If there's a brand new house there that
- 18:43Speaker 2: was Marilyn N there.
- 18:46Speaker 1: I'm glad it's been saved. I'm a big fan of history.
- 18:49Speaker 1: If we're going to save a celebrity's house, let's do
- 18:51Speaker 1: Marilyn Monroe's and nicest of the day now and not
- 18:54Speaker 1: is the day naughteen? Naughty naughty, Yes, the only person
- 18:56Speaker 1: who could actually manage to facilitate peace between William and
- 19:01Speaker 1: Harry I know that person. I guess you have a
- 19:03Speaker 1: guess you. Oh my god, No, I'd cost more trouble.
- 19:06Speaker 1: I'd cause more trouble, and I'd make them do peace
- 19:09Speaker 1: on this show so we could listen to it. They're
- 19:11Speaker 1: saying it's Kate. So Kate is a peacemaker. She was
- 19:15Speaker 1: spotted in twenty twenty one after the Oprah interview trying
- 19:19Speaker 1: to make the brother speak again. Now, Diana's former butler,
- 19:24Speaker 1: Paul Borella, who I know, is saying Kate is the
- 19:27Speaker 1: only one. There was a time when these three were
- 19:29Speaker 1: so close. He called her, Harry called her his sister. Now,
- 19:34Speaker 1: maybe Kate can fix this. There's a lot of pressure
- 19:36Speaker 1: there on one person. Let's end with a moment of
- 19:38Speaker 1: rob rob. Almost everything will work again if you unplug
- 19:44Speaker 1: it for a few minutes, including you. I love this
- 19:47Speaker 1: quote because it just reminds you that it's okay to unplug,
- 19:52Speaker 1: it's okay to reset. It's OK's head. Smack it in
- 19:57Speaker 1: the head, pull the plug out let, rest for a minute.
- 20:01Speaker 1: If you feel like your brain is going to explode,
- 20:04Speaker 1: if there's too much going on, too much to process,
- 20:08Speaker 1: turn off the computer, go and have a cup of tea.
- 20:11Speaker 1: I'm a huge fan in this I've really learned the
- 20:14Speaker 1: power of being still and just for a couple of
- 20:17Speaker 1: minutes doing nothing. Hey, that is it for today. Thank
- 20:21Speaker 1: you so much for listening to the Naughty Bit Nice
- 20:22Speaker 1: with Rob and Garrett Show. Welcome back, Garrett. Thank the
