- 2:55Speaker 1: absolutely not, absolutely not. All right, who called?
- 2:57Speaker 2: We have a lovely caller named a man and she's
- 3:01Speaker 2: got some question about Sister Wives.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Hey, guys, this is Amanda from Oklahoma. I've been in
- 3:08Speaker 3: og Raccoon since day one, and I wanted to talk
- 3:11Speaker 3: to you guys really quick about the Sister Wives book
- 3:15Speaker 3: that I've been reading. I know it's super old and
- 3:17Speaker 3: it was written a long time ago, but it is
- 3:19Speaker 3: an absolute trip. I really really encourage you guys to
- 3:23Speaker 3: read it, especially as the og Sister Wives fans that
- 3:27Speaker 3: you are and that I am. I think anybody who
- 3:30Speaker 3: is obsessed with their show needs to read it because
- 3:33Speaker 3: it's an absolute dumpster fire and there are so many
- 3:37Speaker 3: things in it that conflict with what we've heard on
- 3:42Speaker 3: the show, and I just think it's really super interesting
- 3:44Speaker 3: and I read the whole thing in about three days. Time.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Long story short, that's what I wanted to say, Love
- 3:50Speaker 3: you guys and enjoy listening to you.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Do they have that that they're legalized marijuana in Oklahoma?
- 3:59Speaker 1: Sounds like vaping, Honey, she's vaping calling some raccoon, Amanda. Yeah,
- 4:09Speaker 1: we have the book right here, we are in possession
- 4:11Speaker 1: of it. We have not read it separately or together.
- 4:14Speaker 2: No, she's too busy reading smut.
- 4:16Speaker 1: I mean, I'm so many books, literally, I'm up to
- 4:19Speaker 1: one hundred and ten books this year, and they're all smut.
- 4:22Speaker 1: All of it's all of it's bored. But I do
- 4:26Speaker 1: want to read that, and we are thinking about doing
- 4:28Speaker 1: that on Patreon Patreon. I don't know how we would
- 4:31Speaker 1: do it on Patreon. Will we just read a chat
- 4:33Speaker 1: separately and then discuss.
- 4:34Speaker 2: It kind of thing?
- 4:36Speaker 1: Maybe we'll do that. We've got some other things we
- 4:37Speaker 1: are covering on Patreon right now, for example Couple's Therapy,
- 4:40Speaker 1: which are watching that on Paramount Plus showtime. But doctor
- 4:45Speaker 1: Orna is our girl. We get so deep into the
- 4:48Speaker 1: psychological working, is it? These various New Yorkers so good?
- 4:52Speaker 1: And I also want to cover Forbidden Love.
- 4:54Speaker 2: I do too, because I heard it's lit.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Yes, get through a couples and then get on that ship.
- 5:01Speaker 1: But we're going to cover that on Patreon. And if
- 5:03Speaker 1: we ever get into this book, which I really do
- 5:05Speaker 1: want to, We do want to, Amanda is to thank
- 5:06Speaker 1: you for the kick in the ask, We're gonna do
- 5:08Speaker 1: it on patrel. Yeah. All right, let's get into Sister
- 5:14Speaker 1: Wives Season five, episode.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Three entitled More Sister Wives.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Okay, yea even more.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Even more aka the Darterers. But first we still start
- 5:25Speaker 2: with a discussion between Cody and the wives about their homes,
- 5:30Speaker 2: their options, their options, and it's kind of interesting hearing
- 5:35Speaker 2: him go between wife to wife and discuss what they
- 5:39Speaker 2: actually want. Christine wants five bedrooms for sure, because she's
- 5:43Speaker 2: got one million children. Yep. Janelle doesn't think her kids
- 5:47Speaker 2: need their own bedrooms. She thinks that they can all
- 5:49Speaker 2: share their bedrooms, So she doesn't want the fifth.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Does she not want the fifth or does she not
- 5:54Speaker 1: want the fourth? Because she's talking about taking a bedroom
- 5:58Speaker 1: away and I'm like, are you like asking for a
- 6:00Speaker 1: three bedroom?
- 6:01Speaker 2: I don't know. I think she's trying to go lower
- 6:03Speaker 2: so she can save money. Because she's talking about the budget.
- 6:06Speaker 2: She's like, well, like, I know we all have her
- 6:08Speaker 2: own set budgets but like, I don't need all the
- 6:11Speaker 2: extra space.
- 6:12Speaker 1: So the money that she doesn't use, does she get
- 6:15Speaker 1: to put that into her bank account or something.
- 6:16Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 6:17Speaker 1: I'm just wondering how it works, honey, But do go on.
- 6:19Speaker 2: And then Robin of course needs to have a hobby room,
- 6:23Speaker 2: just like Mary. And she also wants a room for
- 6:26Speaker 2: an office right for herself.
- 6:29Speaker 1: For her my sister wife's closet. She's very busy. Sure,
- 6:32Speaker 1: that's why she has a nanny tarelease of course.
- 6:35Speaker 2: But we know that that office turns into Cody's office
- 6:37Speaker 2: aka their fuck room.
- 6:39Speaker 1: The reason that he spends so much time there is
- 6:41Speaker 1: because she has an office and she can accommodate me.
- 6:43Speaker 1: That's why I don't spend any nights with my other wives.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. And then we have Mary just saying she
- 6:50Speaker 2: wants just the wet bar. I'm fine with that, but
- 6:52Speaker 2: also maybe a tennis court.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Which she's just being facetious about the tennis court. But like,
- 6:57Speaker 1: this is an eight thousand dollars wet bar. This is
- 6:59Speaker 1: not a big deal. I do not understand, and I'm
- 7:01Speaker 1: never going to understand. Ever, it's ugly Why you are
- 7:05Speaker 1: pigeon for this wet bar, unless it's because the only
- 7:09Speaker 1: reason you can get it is if you have a
- 7:10Speaker 1: fifth bedroom. Like, is this really about having the biggest house?
- 7:13Speaker 2: Maybe it is, Maybe it is the status.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Is it really about the whip bar?
- 7:17Speaker 2: It's the status of being the first wife and having
- 7:19Speaker 2: the biggest house.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I guess.
- 7:21Speaker 2: But you're in a loveless marriage and your husband melted
- 7:23Speaker 2: down your ring, So I mean, we don't have to
- 7:25Speaker 2: talk about that. Who's really what's your Yeah? And then
- 7:29Speaker 2: we have a discussion about their polygamist vacation with the Darkers. Yes,
- 7:33Speaker 2: I guess they've known them in years past.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Like for four years. Although Christine's at the one who
- 7:40Speaker 1: left the cult and then spoke out against fundamentalist Mormonism
- 7:44Speaker 1: and who changed her name. It was Sylvia and then
- 7:46Speaker 1: it became Christian. She was married to Joe Darker's I
- 7:50Speaker 1: think uncle Oh passed away, so there's a connection between
- 7:54Speaker 1: Christine and Joe. Christine's known him for longer, I think,
- 7:57Speaker 1: But as a family, I think the Browns have maybe
- 7:59Speaker 1: known the Darkers for about.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Four years, Okay, but they're not like super close because
- 8:03Speaker 2: they don't hang out with them all the time. But
- 8:05Speaker 2: the Darkers are kind of interesting because he's got three wives.
- 8:08Speaker 2: He married two of them on the same exact day,
- 8:11Speaker 2: yet one of them claims to.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Be the first wife, right, I think she must mean
- 8:15Speaker 1: the legal wife, the one that he put down in
- 8:18Speaker 1: the document. Weird, but I mean, why if you got
- 8:21Speaker 1: married at the same exact time on the same day,
- 8:24Speaker 1: why is there a first wife and a second wife?
- 8:26Speaker 2: But whatever, it could not be me. And then ten
- 8:29Speaker 2: years later he marries his second wife's twin sister.
- 8:33Speaker 1: She comes over one day and something just changed, Like
- 8:36Speaker 1: it was the vibe. Joe walked in and their eyes
- 8:42Speaker 1: met and something shifted in the relationship. And the way
- 8:45Speaker 1: they tell this story is like that day, like she's
- 8:49Speaker 1: talking about her marriage, which is dysfunctional, on what she
- 8:51Speaker 1: has left, and that day he's like, I love you.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I feel like we've been together for a thousand years
- 8:57Speaker 1: on multiple Mormon planets, go to marry you and take
- 9:01Speaker 1: care of you. Yeah, and that's what happened. They kiss, boom,
- 9:05Speaker 1: it was done.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Fucking weird.
- 9:07Speaker 1: So Joe Darker, I'm just gonna have to make a
- 9:09Speaker 1: lot of claims about him that I cannot back up
- 9:12Speaker 1: because I don't know this person. This is all fake
- 9:14Speaker 1: raccoon psychic vibes, but like, there's something that's very dark
- 9:17Speaker 1: about this person. He certainly comes off as authoritarian with
- 9:23Speaker 1: his family. What I think TLC and the Browns are
- 9:25Speaker 1: trying to paint as hyper organized and like keeping his
- 9:29Speaker 1: family together like smacks of to me, like tinges of
- 9:33Speaker 1: abuse maybe, Like that's the kind of guy like toxic
- 9:36Speaker 1: masculinity behind closed doors. I'm not saying that that's who
- 9:39Speaker 1: he is, but he just seems like he rules in
- 9:42Speaker 1: a very militaristic way with an iron fist. Like when
- 9:45Speaker 1: we get to the part where his kids are talking
- 9:47Speaker 1: about their family life, I'm like, m that's abuse coded. Yeah,
- 9:52Speaker 1: Like there's something about this guy I do not like.
- 9:55Speaker 1: I don't know why we're platforming him on our televisions,
- 9:58Speaker 1: but we are, so let's get into it.
- 10:01Speaker 2: I mean we platform him for the same reason why
- 10:02Speaker 2: we platform Cody. Yeah, because it's great television. Yeah, because
- 10:06Speaker 2: it's super crazy. You know.
- 10:07Speaker 1: What was interesting to me is that they're not in
- 10:09Speaker 1: the same religion, which I guess would be the aub
- 10:12Speaker 1: They're not fundamental Browns, they're independent polygamists. What does that mean?
- 10:16Speaker 2: I don't know, Like the people I'm seeking sister wife
- 10:18Speaker 2: where they're just doing it because they believe in the
- 10:20Speaker 2: relationships structure. It's not a religious thing.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Yeah, but Joe Darker says on the couch that this
- 10:25Speaker 1: is an eternal relationship. They do speak of their faith,
- 10:28Speaker 1: so it sounds like there are some strain of Mormon.
- 10:31Speaker 1: I don't know which strain it is. COVID nineteen so
- 10:36Speaker 1: I don't know what strain it is, but he seems Mormon,
- 10:38Speaker 1: but just a different kind I guess.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Yeah, a different brand. It's interesting that he's willing to
- 10:43Speaker 2: be open too, because this is the time where it's
- 10:45Speaker 2: still a bit taboo. And they live in Utah. So
- 10:49Speaker 2: I mean, if Cody was afraid of the law in Utah,
- 10:52Speaker 2: doesn't seem like Joe Darker is. He don't give no
- 10:54Speaker 2: fucks no and they all live in one house. But whatever,
- 10:58Speaker 2: I digress. We do see the Dargers in Utah as
- 11:01Speaker 2: they're like getting ready for their vacation to go hang
- 11:05Speaker 2: out with the Browns, and they're like super organized. They
- 11:08Speaker 2: got all their shit together. They have a million fucking kids.
- 11:11Speaker 2: The adults act like adults, and it's not chaotic shocking.
- 11:15Speaker 1: There's lists, there's organization. We know what's going in which van,
- 11:18Speaker 1: who gets in the truck. All the kids just do
- 11:20Speaker 1: what they're supposed to be doing, and it seems to
- 11:23Speaker 1: be like a seamless excursion.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm like the Browns. The Browns are just a
- 11:29Speaker 2: fucking mess. And then again to get into like some
- 11:33Speaker 2: of their history of like how they met and it's
- 11:35Speaker 2: really kind of really fucking weird, like how he married
- 11:39Speaker 2: these two girls on the same day. He asked for
- 11:41Speaker 2: their parents' permission and one of them was not approving.
- 11:45Speaker 1: So let's break this down. We've got Elena, who is
- 11:48Speaker 1: the first wife, and then we have Vicki, who is
- 11:50Speaker 1: the second wife. Now he goes to Vicky's parents, asks
- 11:54Speaker 1: for her hand in a plural marriage, and her parents
- 11:57Speaker 1: are okay with it, goes to Elena's father, asks for
- 12:00Speaker 1: Elena's hand in a plural marriage, and that guy's like
- 12:03Speaker 1: absolutely not, Like what are you trying.
- 12:06Speaker 2: To do here?
- 12:07Speaker 1: Just stick your dick, and all these women absolutely not.
- 12:09Speaker 1: But then it sounds like two or two and a
- 12:11Speaker 1: half years pass, and at some point that dad comes
- 12:14Speaker 1: back around and says, look, I'll give you my permission,
- 12:17Speaker 1: but not my blessing. And so then they get married.
- 12:20Speaker 1: So do you mean to say that for two to
- 12:22Speaker 1: two and a half years all three of them were dating?
- 12:25Speaker 1: And are they living together? Were they did they go
- 12:29Speaker 1: in the temple? They I don't know.
- 12:31Speaker 2: It seems messy.
- 12:32Speaker 1: I'm curious.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm very curious. And then after they get married
- 12:36Speaker 2: on the same day ten years later, Valerie, who's Vicki's
- 12:40Speaker 2: twin sister, comes into the picture. She comes from a
- 12:43Speaker 2: polygamist family, right, she says, it was pretty dysfunctional. So
- 12:47Speaker 2: she left that husband, took her kids, and then met
- 12:50Speaker 2: Joe Darker and fell in love because they were saw me.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Years across multiple Mormon planet.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Is this a smut that you would like to read?
- 12:58Speaker 1: Indeed? I would I would like.
- 12:59Speaker 2: That'd be quite great.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Yes, there is something in romance books called reverse harem,
- 13:06Speaker 1: which is where you have one heroin or one female
- 13:09Speaker 1: character and then multiple males.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Oh wow, and it's.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Sort of the reverse harem concept. Those are quite fun. True. Really,
- 13:16Speaker 1: it's like Mormonism but backwards.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Oh yeah, polyandry, that's right, I like it. I like it. Well,
- 13:23Speaker 2: then they get married and everybody lives happily ever after,
- 13:27Speaker 2: and then we have Cody on the couch kind of
- 13:30Speaker 2: commenting about the Darger's relationship, and he equates Valerie to Robin,
- 13:37Speaker 2: like that Valerie came into the Darger's family with all
- 13:40Speaker 2: these kids and they had a blended family dynamic, just
- 13:44Speaker 2: like Robin and all of her kids. And then he
- 13:46Speaker 2: says something kind of interesting where he says that because
- 13:49Speaker 2: Valerie came in with her kids and everything, he had
- 13:54Speaker 2: to be the hero in Valerie's eyes. But he's saying
- 13:57Speaker 2: that in reference to how he is with Robin.
- 14:00Speaker 1: I didn't even think about that.
- 14:01Speaker 2: I thought that was interesting, And I wonder if that's
- 14:04Speaker 2: like Robbin's telling him that, like come me, oh, hear
- 14:06Speaker 2: me here, I love you so much, like she's propping
- 14:09Speaker 2: him up so much, and like putting him on this
- 14:12Speaker 2: pedestal like the king of masculinity so.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Amazing, saved us from poverty, anti abusive ex And I
- 14:19Speaker 1: do think she's also telling her children that as well,
- 14:22Speaker 1: because at some point in the upcoming seasons they like
- 14:25Speaker 1: start to call him Preston and ye dad and now
- 14:28Speaker 1: Cody's dad, and so that's kind of the thing I
- 14:30Speaker 1: think Robin does. But I didn't even make that connection
- 14:32Speaker 1: in the moment.
- 14:33Speaker 2: And I wonder if he was saying that as a
- 14:35Speaker 2: dig to the three og wives, because they're all kind
- 14:37Speaker 2: of critical of him. I mean, especially Christine.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, as they're packing to go to Oceanside, California,
- 14:44Speaker 1: Girlie California. Like, Joe Darger's got his lists now, all
- 14:49Speaker 1: the kids are stacking their luggage in the vans. It's
- 14:52Speaker 1: perfectly organized. Mary loves it. Janelle's just like, I mean,
- 14:57Speaker 1: let's just calm down a little bit. Yeah, But Christine
- 14:59Speaker 1: does go to great lengths and says that she actually
- 15:02Speaker 1: really likes the way Joe Darker deals with his family,
- 15:06Speaker 1: leads and leads his family, and she doesn't think that
- 15:09Speaker 1: he's controlling like some other people might say. It's just
- 15:12Speaker 1: that his children clearly fully respect him. Out junny to Cody,
- 15:20Speaker 1: and Cody's just like, so the implication, of course, is
- 15:23Speaker 1: that Cody's own children don't necessarily respect him fully, which
- 15:27Speaker 1: when we get out to the scene at the diner
- 15:29Speaker 1: with all the kids, we kind of get a validation.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Of that, oh for sure. And then even with Mary's
- 15:35Speaker 2: criticisms of Cody, being like, oh, I'm not saying that
- 15:38Speaker 2: you're disorganized, but it would be nice if you could
- 15:40Speaker 2: be like Joe Darker, who's a real man and leads
- 15:43Speaker 2: his family. Like that's the implication. So I just kind
- 15:46Speaker 2: of likes that these wives are totally digging on him
- 15:48Speaker 2: on the couch. But you know that Robin with her
- 15:52Speaker 2: big ass jaw is talking, is talking to Cody at
- 15:57Speaker 2: home while they're fucking, while she's pegging him, and she's like,
- 16:01Speaker 2: see how the other wives talk about you. You're my hero.
- 16:04Speaker 2: I would never talk bad about you.
- 16:06Speaker 1: You're all man, You're my man man, honey, yeah, oh yeah,
- 16:11Speaker 1: just puffing him up. And meanwhile on the couch, all
- 16:13Speaker 1: the other ones are dogging him, except you know, but yes,
- 16:15Speaker 1: Janelle's probably thinking it.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Oh and Janelle's biting her tongue because she holds the
- 16:18Speaker 2: purse strings so she can't really say anything. And so
- 16:22Speaker 2: then when they're in Ocean side, California after this whole
- 16:26Speaker 2: like chaos of getting the Browns altogether, and Cody's like, whoa,
- 16:29Speaker 2: you guys are all organized, you got everything packed? Yeah,
- 16:32Speaker 2: because we're real adults and we have a giant fucking family,
- 16:34Speaker 2: and this is what you do when you have a
- 16:36Speaker 2: million kids, Cody, they kind of go, where did they go?
- 16:40Speaker 2: They go to the beach or something.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Yeah, they have like a couple of rental houses, right,
- 16:44Speaker 1: they're on the beach in Ocean Side, California. They pull in.
- 16:48Speaker 1: It doesn't look that great from the outside, kind of
- 16:51Speaker 1: booty from the backside, but they get everybody in and
- 16:55Speaker 1: as soon as they're in the two homes, here goes Joe.
- 16:58Speaker 1: He's pulling out his day planner. Honey, these like signing
- 17:01Speaker 1: rooms to everybody, and so he's super organized and he
- 17:04Speaker 1: gets it done within a couple of minutes, which just
- 17:07Speaker 1: wows the Brown wives, like, oh god, we have signed it.
- 17:10Speaker 1: It's so hot, and like two minutes what And then
- 17:16Speaker 1: Cody kind of like sidles up to the kitchen island
- 17:19Speaker 1: and he's like, why don't we figure out which kitchen
- 17:21Speaker 1: we're going to be cooking out of? And Mary just
- 17:23Speaker 1: shuts him down immediately. She's like, no, Like, why don't
- 17:26Speaker 1: we figure out the bedrooms? It's the most important thing.
- 17:29Speaker 1: So we've got Joe over here taking control of everything
- 17:32Speaker 1: in all the wives just like following along and Cody
- 17:35Speaker 1: trying to do that, and his own wives are just
- 17:38Speaker 1: like absolutely not loser.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Yeah, And it's interesting that even when Cody does bring
- 17:42Speaker 2: up sharing the kitchen, Mary shoots him down immediately, and
- 17:45Speaker 2: then on the couch, Cody says something kind of interesting
- 17:48Speaker 2: where he's like, yeah, it's it's interesting to see the
- 17:51Speaker 2: dynamic between Darker's family and my family because in his
- 17:55Speaker 2: family he leads it, but in my family they lead it.
- 17:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:59Speaker 2: The why Yeah, And that makes him mad, like he's
- 18:02Speaker 2: not saying that in jest.
- 18:04Speaker 1: And Robin says something like, well, I guess we should
- 18:06Speaker 1: just shut up then, and then Mary's like, yeah, I
- 18:09Speaker 1: won't say anything else, you can tell me where to go.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Yikes. Yes, the patriarchy is starting right now.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Yes, absolutely.
- 18:17Speaker 2: And then in Ocean Side, after they get everything situated
- 18:20Speaker 2: in all of their rooms, they go lakeboarding on the
- 18:23Speaker 2: beach with a million kids, and that lifeguard at the
- 18:26Speaker 2: beach is like super pissed because he's like, it was
- 18:28Speaker 2: a nice morning until all these fuckers showed up.
- 18:31Speaker 1: All I knew was we had two families coming. I
- 18:33Speaker 1: had no idea that each family had three thousand children.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Thanks for letting me know an dvance.
- 18:39Speaker 2: He was not fucking happy, and it made me laugh
- 18:41Speaker 2: really hard. And then after the wakeboarding and like there's
- 18:45Speaker 2: a segment where Robin talks about how the girls, the
- 18:48Speaker 2: Brown girls were checking out some of the darker boys,
- 18:51Speaker 2: and she's like, oh my god, maybe they can get married.
- 18:54Speaker 2: I'm like, ew cringe.
- 18:55Speaker 1: And Christine says that she wouldn't mind if some of
- 18:57Speaker 1: their kids dated the darker kids.
- 19:00Speaker 2: I think. Christine talks about how they're fit and they
- 19:02Speaker 2: work out.
- 19:03Speaker 1: That was the next day when they went boogie boarding.
- 19:05Speaker 1: So they all go boogie boarding and the darker wives
- 19:08Speaker 1: put on their swimsuits which are super modest, slash matronly.
- 19:13Speaker 1: They got little skirts on, but they all work out.
- 19:16Speaker 1: They all kind of have great bodies versus what's happening
- 19:20Speaker 1: over on the Brown team with the women over there,
- 19:23Speaker 1: no offense or anything, because you know, I'm all over
- 19:26Speaker 1: here sitting in the dumpster, just eating the trash. I'm
- 19:29Speaker 1: fast around. Yeah, Christine is acknowledging in this moment, like
- 19:33Speaker 1: these women look good. They clearly have an exercise regiment,
- 19:37Speaker 1: and you know, I feel a little bit called out
- 19:39Speaker 1: because I'm over here just slumpy.
- 19:41Speaker 2: And then freaking Robin's skinny ass is like, oh yeah, well,
- 19:45Speaker 2: it's funny because I'm the only one that doesn't work out.
- 19:48Speaker 1: She's like, what are you talking about Christine, you work
- 19:50Speaker 1: out every day. I thought you said it was so
- 19:53Speaker 1: manipulous sad, and she's like, well, yeah, Christine says, yeah,
- 19:57Speaker 1: I do work out, but I mean a lot like that,
- 19:58Speaker 1: look at their bodies. And then Robin says, like all
- 20:01Speaker 1: of these women work out, I'm the only one who
- 20:03Speaker 1: doesn't work out. Can you believe it? It's so skinny.
- 20:07Speaker 1: I don't have to work out, unlike these hopes, like
- 20:09Speaker 1: these halfers.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Seriously, the fat shaving on this show is wild, like
- 20:15Speaker 2: the subtle shit that Robin says crazy. But after the
- 20:21Speaker 2: first day where they were at the beach and they
- 20:23Speaker 2: go wakeboarding and they taught the adults kind of talk
- 20:25Speaker 2: about going public. Yeah, this is Cody's opportunity to show
- 20:29Speaker 2: that he's like such a good guy grandstand he's looking
- 20:32Speaker 2: out for other polygamists from the gangster polygamists. But he's right.
- 20:36Speaker 1: He wants to show the world a version of polygamy
- 20:40Speaker 1: that isn't like child brides and people abusing the welfare system. Like,
- 20:45Speaker 1: there's a lot of good polygamist folks out there that
- 20:47Speaker 1: he wants to represent by going public. And I was
- 20:50Speaker 1: just thinking to myself, but didn't you abuse the welfare system.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Haven't Christine and Janelle declare bankruptcy? Yeah, you've been rolling
- 20:58Speaker 1: debts from one to another. I don't know for sure.
- 21:02Speaker 1: I certainly haven't seen the documents, but the rumors are
- 21:06Speaker 1: that they participated in some of that fraud early on
- 21:09Speaker 1: in their relationships. But I don't know.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Yeah, please tell me how you did this out of
- 21:14Speaker 2: the kindness and goodness of your heart, not because you
- 21:16Speaker 2: wanted to go on TV because you were broke and
- 21:18Speaker 2: needed to make money.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Eh, and you're just basically a narcissist and you want
- 21:22Speaker 1: to be a star on TLC. Hello.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Yeah, And then later after I think boogie boarding. Then
- 21:30Speaker 2: they also have a conversation about affection, like giving affection
- 21:34Speaker 2: to the wives, and Joe Darger has this philosophy that
- 21:38Speaker 2: he's like, I'm gonna kiss and fook any wife I
- 21:41Speaker 2: want at any time, all the time. I'm always going
- 21:43Speaker 2: to be affectionate in front of all my wives, so
- 21:46Speaker 2: that way we don't have any kind of jealousy and
- 21:48Speaker 2: everybody understands the expectation. Contrasts that to Cody, who will
- 21:52Speaker 2: only show affection on his given night.
- 21:54Speaker 1: With the wife, yes, and not in front of the
- 21:57Speaker 1: other wives to avoid jealousy right, which I thought was
- 22:01Speaker 1: interesting because Darker and his wives are just like, yeah,
- 22:06Speaker 1: that was something that was difficult. It's something that I
- 22:09Speaker 1: have to relearn how to do from time to time,
- 22:12Speaker 1: like to accept that my husband is giving affection to
- 22:14Speaker 1: someone else. But like, as soon as you get over
- 22:16Speaker 1: that blog, then you realize that this is just all
- 22:19Speaker 1: of our relationships and this is how, you know, we
- 22:21Speaker 1: move forward and it gets a lot easier versus the Browns.
- 22:25Speaker 1: You know, they only allow Cody to show affection in
- 22:28Speaker 1: a certain way and behind closed doors they never share
- 22:31Speaker 1: that part with the other person so that they never
- 22:33Speaker 1: even have to feel jealousy. And Mary says something interesting
- 22:37Speaker 1: on the couch. She's like, there's enough going on in
- 22:39Speaker 1: our family for us to have jealousy over, Like we
- 22:42Speaker 1: don't need to add on top of that Cody, you know,
- 22:44Speaker 1: French kissing Robin or Janelle. Like for me, I feel
- 22:48Speaker 1: that in addition to all the other things, And I'm like, huh, interesting,
- 22:51Speaker 1: what sort of jealousy are you talking about? I think
- 22:54Speaker 1: she's calling Janelle out about the money and about the
- 22:58Speaker 1: wet bar and the jealousy that Christine and Janelle might
- 23:01Speaker 1: be feeling because Mary has expensive tastes.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Oh one hundred percent, that's what she's referencing. And I
- 23:08Speaker 2: just think it's interesting that they came up with that
- 23:10Speaker 2: idea that like, they can't show affection because it would
- 23:13Speaker 2: cause this jealousy. And I'm like, well, that's because Cody
- 23:16Speaker 2: is showing it inequally like he's not. He's never I
- 23:19Speaker 2: don't think he's ever been fair with it. And then
- 23:22Speaker 2: I wonder, you know, fast forward to now, like when
- 23:25Speaker 2: did the wives start divulging to each other that they
- 23:28Speaker 2: were having problems Because at some point they all understand
- 23:33Speaker 2: that they were not getting anything from Cody, that it
- 23:35Speaker 2: was just Robin. So when did they start sharing that
- 23:38Speaker 2: with each other? That's what I want to know.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know.
- 23:42Speaker 2: And then after that, the all the kids, the brown kids,
- 23:46Speaker 2: the darker kids, go out to dinner and they talk
- 23:49Speaker 2: shit about their parents, which I love to see.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Yes, and we learn that, you know, Maddie plus Logan,
- 23:57Speaker 1: they're both confirming that it's terriblyaotic, definitely unorganized. I think
- 24:02Speaker 1: Logan with regard to Cody says something like, you know,
- 24:05Speaker 1: my dad thinks he's knowledgeable about absolutely everything, but he's
- 24:09Speaker 1: not love it, which I thought was pretty great. And
- 24:12Speaker 1: then the darker kids are like, yeah, our dad knows everything.
- 24:16Speaker 1: He's a walking encyclopedia, and like we would never dare
- 24:19Speaker 1: to talk back to him kind and Logan also says
- 24:24Speaker 1: in terms of like who handles different things in the
- 24:28Speaker 1: house or in the family, Logan says, well, whichever wife
- 24:31Speaker 1: or whichever family member has the knowledge or expertise in
- 24:35Speaker 1: that area typically is in charge of administering that thing.
- 24:39Speaker 1: And then the Dargers say, well, yeah, our dad does
- 24:42Speaker 1: all the things because he has all of the knowledge
- 24:44Speaker 1: and expertise. Yeah, And there are a couple of digs
- 24:47Speaker 1: in there. I think Valerie's son, who was born of
- 24:52Speaker 1: another of her previous relationship, says that Joe Darger is big,
- 24:59Speaker 1: bald and intimidating.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Yeah, which is kind of funny, Yeah, a way to
- 25:03Speaker 2: describe him.
- 25:03Speaker 1: But also but he's also saying that on camera. They're
- 25:07Speaker 1: also saying that it's his way or the highway, So
- 25:10Speaker 1: they're painting Joe Darker as again this authoritarian, kind of
- 25:14Speaker 1: hard ass person. Yeah, I just like I I.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Mean he does give off that vibe, yes, I mean
- 25:20Speaker 2: he gives off like a very hard, mean energy, and
- 25:24Speaker 2: like nobody talks back to their dad. It seems like
- 25:27Speaker 2: everybody just kind of toes in line.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Yeah, they're probably afraid of him. I went and looked
- 25:33Speaker 1: up to see if they're still together because I was
- 25:35Speaker 1: very curious. Yeah, and it appears that they are also.
- 25:39Speaker 1: I don't know if you know. In twenty twenty two,
- 25:41Speaker 1: Joe Darker actually spoke out about the dissolution of all
- 25:45Speaker 1: of these marriages with Cody Brown amazing, and he attributed
- 25:49Speaker 1: to the breakdown of those marriages to Cody's ego.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Love it.
- 25:53Speaker 1: He's right, He's definitely right, and talking about how polygamy
- 25:57Speaker 1: will amplify your weaknesses and the things that you know
- 26:01Speaker 1: are inside of you that aren't necessarily where they need
- 26:04Speaker 1: to be. And so if you then become a polygamist,
- 26:07Speaker 1: that's just going to get louder, bolder, bigger, And that
- 26:09Speaker 1: is what happened with Cody, and his weakness was his ego.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Of course, I'm paraphrasing and adding a little bit, but
- 26:15Speaker 1: that's what he said, which I found to be interesting.
- 26:18Speaker 2: That's super based. Actually, Like for all that we think
- 26:21Speaker 2: of Joe Darger, I'm like, yes, call him out and
- 26:25Speaker 2: it would be like another polygamist man to be like, yeah, Cody,
- 26:29Speaker 2: you fucked up. Yeah, Like and I feel like if Cody,
- 26:32Speaker 2: I mean, Cody definitely knows that he said that about him,
- 26:35Speaker 2: that totally shattered him.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Yes, because you know he's into his bros. Oh, into
- 26:38Speaker 1: the brotherhood, into his dudes.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Yep, because he's hiding his homosexuality.
- 26:42Speaker 1: Right. Yeah, And here's Joe Darger, still successful, still a polygamist,
- 26:46Speaker 1: still keeping all of his wives and us children together.
- 26:49Speaker 1: His family is intact, unlike Cody, who has turned into
- 26:52Speaker 1: a shell of who used to be. Yes, Oh my god,
- 26:55Speaker 1: Cidebar did you see the recent cameo that he did.
- 27:01Speaker 2: With his freaking hair? Yeah?
- 27:02Speaker 1: That you put it up on the Instagram. I saw
- 27:04Speaker 1: it on our own Instagram. It was so good it okay,
- 27:09Speaker 1: let's put a picture right here, okay, because we just
- 27:11Speaker 1: have to share it like this. He did a cameo
- 27:13Speaker 1: for somebody, and he showed up on camera and then
- 27:18Speaker 1: willfully shared this video with somebody, like he intentionally did this,
- 27:22Speaker 1: Like this is what his hair look like. It's horrible, dude, Robin,
- 27:26Speaker 1: are you doing this on purpose to him?
- 27:27Speaker 2: Oh my god, she probably is Cody.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Can you not see yourself in.
- 27:32Speaker 2: The mer rar just shave your head and be big,
- 27:36Speaker 2: bald and intimidating.
- 27:37Speaker 1: With Joe darker, really preposterous. It is horribly ridiculous. Look, Cody,
- 27:41Speaker 1: it's just as bad as it can be. But that's
- 27:44Speaker 1: what he gets, though, as you do deserve it. You
- 27:47Speaker 1: deserve to look like a clown out here on the
- 27:48Speaker 1: internet because you are a clown. Yes, oh god.
- 27:52Speaker 2: And then after the kids go to dinner, then the
- 27:55Speaker 2: adults go to dinner. Yeah, which was very interesting in
- 27:57Speaker 2: my opinion.
- 27:58Speaker 1: This is where we get into the goods.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Still plainy yes, because the Dargers are not afraid to
- 28:03Speaker 2: ask the hard questions. They start up ask the Browns
- 28:06Speaker 2: how they're doing living separately and living in such far
- 28:09Speaker 2: away homes from each other, and Christine's like, oh, it sucks,
- 28:13Speaker 2: We're not a family. And all the wives basically say
- 28:15Speaker 2: that Robin kinda is quiet, though she's pretty quiet.
- 28:18Speaker 1: But Christine also says that there was a time when
- 28:21Speaker 1: they were all living together, but Robin wasn't integrated into
- 28:25Speaker 1: their family yet, and so then they onboarded Robin and
- 28:27Speaker 1: they needed to do a reset anyway, So Las Vegas
- 28:30Speaker 1: made sense for them. They needed to figure out a
- 28:33Speaker 1: situation where they could all be together in one way
- 28:35Speaker 1: or another.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Yeah, which I thought was interesting. And Cody talks about
- 28:39Speaker 2: how they initially wanted one big, huge home, but they
- 28:43Speaker 2: couldn't find a big home it had more than five bedrooms.
- 28:46Speaker 1: We have to talk about this because we were expect
- 28:49Speaker 1: these people moving out of a split level in Lee
- 28:52Speaker 1: High with the history of bankruptcy and he don't have
- 28:54Speaker 1: a job. Yeah, he says he was expecting to move
- 28:57Speaker 1: to Las Vegas and find some home on a short
- 29:00Speaker 1: sales somebody who had to go back to two thousand
- 29:02Speaker 1: and eight months housing market went upside down, Like find
- 29:05Speaker 1: a fifteen thousand square foot home with twenty five bedrooms
- 29:09Speaker 1: and four kitchens, Like that was their expectation. Yeah, that
- 29:13Speaker 1: a house like that existed. And I'm like, are you
- 29:16Speaker 1: guys delusional that is house doesn't exist.
- 29:19Speaker 2: No, not even for millionaires billionaires.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Like it's like once four kitchens.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Yeah, it's so dumb, But that's just they are so stupid.
- 29:29Speaker 2: They are so stupid. And then the Darkers ask if
- 29:33Speaker 2: they ever have to reset again. They make a suggestion, Actually,
- 29:37Speaker 2: you guys should share a kitchen it actually would really
- 29:40Speaker 2: work really well for your family. You guys would be
- 29:43Speaker 2: more cohesive, it's better for the kids, And all of
- 29:45Speaker 2: the wives are like, no, it'll never work. Cody's like,
- 29:48Speaker 2: I've done that before, and I have two wives that
- 29:51Speaker 2: actually think sharing a kitchen is abusive. And then we
- 29:55Speaker 2: have Mary crying about this on the couch.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Yep, And she's basically saying that when Cody says this
- 30:01Speaker 1: at the table, she takes this real personal because she
- 30:05Speaker 1: knows Cody is referring to her relationship with Janelle, and
- 30:09Speaker 1: based on kind of the tidbits that Mary shares, because
- 30:12Speaker 1: of course she's never super direct and forthright, like you
- 30:15Speaker 1: got to suss out what she's trying to say. But
- 30:17Speaker 1: she's basically saying that when they were all first together,
- 30:21Speaker 1: just the three of them, Mary, Janelle and Cody, Janelle
- 30:24Speaker 1: and Mary had to share a kitchen and Mary had
- 30:27Speaker 1: her ideas about where the cups go. Mary had her
- 30:29Speaker 1: idea about how the laundry was folded, and she was
- 30:32Speaker 1: just accustomed, based on how she grew up in her
- 30:34Speaker 1: family to be able to say what it is she
- 30:36Speaker 1: thought was right and good. And Janelle, conversely, like didn't
- 30:41Speaker 1: have her voice and didn't know how to represent herself.
- 30:45Speaker 1: And Janelle says something interesting here on the couch in
- 30:48Speaker 1: which she said, you know, we were young. It was
- 30:50Speaker 1: when we were first together. It was a bunch of
- 30:52Speaker 1: personality differences, and Cody just didn't realize that he needed
- 30:55Speaker 1: to be listening for me. Yeah, did you hear that?
- 30:58Speaker 1: I did hear that Cody either wasn't paying attention or
- 31:03Speaker 1: was wilfully not showing up as an advocate for Janelle
- 31:06Speaker 1: while Mary just railroaded her.
- 31:09Speaker 2: It just sounds like Cody let them fight, like, didn't
- 31:12Speaker 2: try to take charge of it and be like, look
- 31:14Speaker 2: like this is the dynamic. You guys have to learn
- 31:16Speaker 2: how to get to get along, and like Mary, you
- 31:19Speaker 2: need to chill the fuck out, because I don't buy
- 31:22Speaker 2: Mary was just speaking her mind and saying her opinions.
- 31:26Speaker 2: I'm sure she was helicndescending. I'm sure she was fucking rude.
- 31:29Speaker 2: She was probably bullying, and probably bullying. I mean, it
- 31:32Speaker 2: doesn't rise to the level of abuse if you're just
- 31:35Speaker 2: being forthright and direct, that's right, actually healthy communication. So
- 31:38Speaker 2: it sounds like the way you were expressing.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Yourself was toxic. Oh yeah, and you were doing it
- 31:44Speaker 1: to somebody who didn't was a young girl didn't know
- 31:47Speaker 1: how to speak up for herself and you just ran
- 31:49Speaker 1: all over her.
- 31:50Speaker 2: And she still doesn't really know how to speak for
- 31:52Speaker 2: herself as a full ass adult. It's actually pretty sad,
- 31:55Speaker 2: Like Janelle is very quiet and a lot of these
- 31:58Speaker 2: older episodes and she just doesn't really speak out. So
- 32:02Speaker 2: that's like partly because of Mary, but also because Janelle
- 32:05Speaker 2: just feels like she doesn't really have a place to
- 32:07Speaker 2: say anything in the family. And then I thought it
- 32:09Speaker 2: was interesting how they're talking to the Dodgers about this
- 32:12Speaker 2: and they're like, uhh, we can never do this. And
- 32:15Speaker 2: Mary asks the darker wives like, well, what do you
- 32:19Speaker 2: do if somebody wants to decorate the house differently or
- 32:21Speaker 2: if they want to do something different in the kitchen,
- 32:24Speaker 2: And the darker wives are like, who cares? Does that
- 32:26Speaker 2: really fucking matter? Like what matters is you have all
- 32:29Speaker 2: these kids, you have this big family, and that you
- 32:31Speaker 2: should compromise for the sake of the family. And I
- 32:34Speaker 2: loved that they did that because it's totally a dick
- 32:37Speaker 2: to the Browns because it just shows how selfish they
- 32:39Speaker 2: all are, that they care more about their individual like
- 32:43Speaker 2: personal spaces and stuff like that they hold onto these artificial,
- 32:46Speaker 2: superficial things like how they decorate and how they handle
- 32:50Speaker 2: their kitchen, run their kitchen versus how to be a
- 32:52Speaker 2: cohesive loving yeah, and how.
- 32:54Speaker 1: To make sure that all your children grow up as
- 32:56Speaker 1: siblings together propresimate to one another. The darker wives are like,
- 32:59Speaker 1: that's the most important thing that we are a unified
- 33:02Speaker 1: family and that they get to have their brothers and
- 33:04Speaker 1: sisters around, Like, that's way more important than whether I put,
- 33:07Speaker 1: you know, a painting on the wall or not. And
- 33:10Speaker 1: I do think Cody in particular takes offense to this
- 33:13Speaker 1: because when he's on the couch, he frames it as
- 33:15Speaker 1: the doggers trying to tell us how we should be right,
- 33:19Speaker 1: you know, I would, And he's like, I would never
- 33:20Speaker 1: presume to tell somebody else how to do polygamy, Like
- 33:23Speaker 1: this is just the way that we've figured it out,
- 33:25Speaker 1: and for us what works is an independent, cohesive approach.
- 33:32Speaker 1: And I think Robin calls it the United States of Browns. Yeah,
- 33:35Speaker 1: everybody has their own identity, they can have their own space,
- 33:38Speaker 1: their own corner, but that we're still together and knitted
- 33:42Speaker 1: through the family versus the doggers who are literally all
- 33:46Speaker 1: together and taking care of one another and free with
- 33:48Speaker 1: their affection and their demonstrations of affection versus the Browns.
- 33:52Speaker 1: And so we have to ask ourselves, well, which polygamist
- 33:56Speaker 1: family lasted. Yeah, it is the Darkers the Browns.
- 34:00Speaker 2: And it's like I can understand where the Browns maybe
- 34:04Speaker 2: we're going with, like the wives need to have their
- 34:06Speaker 2: independent spaces, like they need to not be an extension
- 34:10Speaker 2: of Cody and the husband and this polygamous dynamic. But
- 34:15Speaker 2: I think the reason why the Brown wives hold on
- 34:17Speaker 2: to that is because they don't really have like the
- 34:20Speaker 2: stability within their relationships. Like Cody isn't fucking them, He
- 34:24Speaker 2: isn't being equal with all of his time. He probably
- 34:27Speaker 2: lords the time over each other like all the time.
- 34:30Speaker 2: So like, I think there's so much inequality that that's
- 34:33Speaker 2: why the Brown wives like focus on their own spaces,
- 34:36Speaker 2: because that's like really the only thing that they control.
- 34:38Speaker 2: That's my opinion about.
- 34:39Speaker 1: It, though, I think that makes sense. And like if
- 34:41Speaker 1: you put yourself in their position, and if you're one
- 34:43Speaker 1: of those wives and your husband isn't fucking you and
- 34:46Speaker 1: he's not spending time with you, and he's always with
- 34:48Speaker 1: the other wife like, well, yeah, I'm going if I'm
- 34:50Speaker 1: going to stay, I'm going to have him to make
- 34:52Speaker 1: a life for myself, right, I'm going to have to
- 34:54Speaker 1: seek out things that fulfill me on a personal level
- 34:56Speaker 1: and take care of my children because this fuck head
- 35:00Speaker 1: he isn't around exactly, So that's what you would end
- 35:03Speaker 1: up inevitably having to do. Like the Doggers are like,
- 35:06Speaker 1: that should never be what it is, though, Like that's
- 35:09Speaker 1: just what you're doing because it's not working. We're doing
- 35:11Speaker 1: this because we're making it work. And that's the difference.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Yes, I thought that was so good. And then the
- 35:17Speaker 2: Doggers talk about their family mission statement and I'm not
- 35:21Speaker 2: sorry too, and so is Janelle because Janelle thinks that
- 35:25Speaker 2: that's stupid.
- 35:26Speaker 1: She's my she's my sister, my toy.
- 35:29Speaker 2: But she's like, I don't see the point in writing
- 35:30Speaker 2: a family mission statement. But of course Robin is so
- 35:34Speaker 2: gung ho about it, so is Christine and Mary, I guess.
- 35:38Speaker 2: And they write a mission statement and it's just like, no.
- 35:41Speaker 1: They didn't write it. Aren't they going to do it
- 35:42Speaker 1: in a future season and like some sort of a
- 35:46Speaker 1: word art.
- 35:47Speaker 2: I don't know, I don't care.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Yeah, they don't do it right then, But they do
- 35:51Speaker 1: agree together that they're going to discuss what their core
- 35:55Speaker 1: values are. Everybody their own values, Like, what are your values, Christine,
- 35:58Speaker 1: Like figure that out. We'll all come together, we'll make
- 36:00Speaker 1: a mission statement, and we're gonna bring this family together.
- 36:02Speaker 1: And this is where Cody is saying that up until
- 36:05Speaker 1: this point, wake up.
- 36:06Speaker 2: Up.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Until this point, they've kind of been like drinking out
- 36:10Speaker 1: of the fire hose, right, he's just been putting out fires.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Nothing's been architected is the word that he uses. Nothing's
- 36:15Speaker 1: been organized, like Joe Darger. But like now with the
- 36:18Speaker 1: call to sack Heine and the homes and the designs,
- 36:22Speaker 1: like now they're finally architecting their lives going forward, and
- 36:27Speaker 1: so now is the time, yeah, for for a mission statement.
- 36:30Speaker 1: Unfortunately it's not going to work.
- 36:32Speaker 2: No, it doesn't take.
- 36:34Speaker 1: Everything blows up in just a few years time. Oh,
- 36:37Speaker 1: it's so sad to see.
- 36:39Speaker 2: But also it's like a car crash, like you can't
- 36:41Speaker 2: look away. Yeah, I like watching it. And then we
- 36:44Speaker 2: have a preview for the next episode. Yeah, we have
- 36:48Speaker 2: the kids, like the older kids going to volunteer at
- 36:51Speaker 2: a charity that helps polygamists who are fleeing abusive situations.
- 36:56Speaker 1: And there's some I'm not going to use this word,
- 36:59Speaker 1: there's some like twatty teenage girl, but I mean she's
- 37:03Speaker 1: come out of polygamy. Yeah, like probably we're gonna learn
- 37:06Speaker 1: it's a very toxic situation that she's come out of.
- 37:09Speaker 1: But she's calling Madison naive and stupid for believing in polygamy.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Madison ultimately invites these girls down to Vegas to stay
- 37:18Speaker 1: in their home and learn about what real polygamists stu
- 37:22Speaker 1: and who we are, which these I guess girls end
- 37:24Speaker 1: up doing, and they tell their stories at the table,
- 37:27Speaker 1: and then we have this scene in the preview of
- 37:29Speaker 1: Christine on the couch crying and saying, I just didn't
- 37:32Speaker 1: realize that men could be so bad, really really talking
- 37:38Speaker 1: about grew up in polygamy. Bit, you are currently married
- 37:42Speaker 1: to a man who is bad, who doesn't take care
- 37:45Speaker 1: of you, who is absolutely ignoring you, who shortly hereafter
- 37:50Speaker 1: is not going to be fucking you anymore, neglects her children.
- 37:53Speaker 1: You are married to a bad person, like miss me
- 37:56Speaker 1: with that you big talker baby, she's so like michelte.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Know, she's so like Michel, so annoying, but I'm looking
- 38:03Speaker 2: forward to that me too.
- 38:05Speaker 1: I'm wondering if these polygamists call to abuse kids, Like
- 38:09Speaker 1: if this is a crossover with that show that was
- 38:12Speaker 1: on TLC several years ago, lots of years ago, where
- 38:14Speaker 1: they're trying to save people in polygamy and they've got
- 38:18Speaker 1: like these undercover ex Mormons who go into these Heidi
- 38:21Speaker 1: holes filled with fundamentalist Mormons, honey, and they're trying to
- 38:25Speaker 1: save these girls. They go in the middle of the night.
- 38:27Speaker 1: Does anybody remember that show?
- 38:28Speaker 2: I do remember it.
- 38:29Speaker 1: It was a long time twelve, you were twelve. I'm
- 38:32Speaker 1: wondering if this is like some sort of a crossover
- 38:34Speaker 1: event for sister Wives.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Oh my god, we shall see. We shall see next week.
- 38:39Speaker 1: Well, is there anything else that we want to say
- 38:42Speaker 1: to these beautiful raccoons before we get up book out
