- 3:05Speaker 1: The problem. It's me.
- 3:07Speaker 3: We've got an am I the problem? So sometimes our
- 3:10Speaker 3: listener send us emails just asking for some advice, asking
- 3:15Speaker 3: if they're the problem in a given situation, and we've
- 3:18Speaker 3: got a good one today. Hi, Gab and Angie. I
- 3:22Speaker 3: love listening to you every morning and really appreciate the
- 3:25Speaker 3: thoughtful and honest advice you give your listeners when they
- 3:28Speaker 3: send emails asking for advice. I have one you might
- 3:31Speaker 3: be able to read on your show. Why, yes, we
- 3:34Speaker 3: are reading it right now. I'm graduating soon and planning
- 3:37Speaker 3: a party to celebrate with close friends and family. Here's
- 3:40Speaker 3: the dilemma. I really don't want to invite my mother
- 3:42Speaker 3: in law. We've had a strained relationship and I'm worried
- 3:46Speaker 3: her presence might add stress to a day I want
- 3:49Speaker 3: to be joyful and drama free. I'm torn between keeping
- 3:53Speaker 3: the peace and protecting my own happiness. What should I
- 3:56Speaker 3: do Is it okay to leave her out? Or am
- 3:58Speaker 3: I asking for trouble? Well? Thanks so much, I'd really
- 4:01Speaker 3: love to hear your thoughts.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Well, hey, help us out here this morning.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Text us what you think at seven oh one two
- 4:07Speaker 1: eight zero one eight seven. There is one answer and
- 4:11Speaker 1: one answer only for this angie. What did mama in
- 4:16Speaker 1: law recently win some money on the big money board?
- 4:19Speaker 2: Is mama in law does she got that bread?
- 4:23Speaker 1: Because if she does, of course you invite her and
- 4:26Speaker 1: you put up with it and take the money.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Bro of course, I really like that. Now we know
- 4:31Speaker 3: your true colors. It's all about the money for you.
- 4:39Speaker 1: You know, if my mother in law's a millionaire, she's
- 4:42Speaker 1: getting the invite.
- 4:42Speaker 2: I'll tell you that right now.
- 4:43Speaker 3: You like your mother in law?
- 4:45Speaker 2: Yeah, my mother in law. I have a couple. They're
- 4:47Speaker 2: both very nice to me.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Oh that's good.
- 4:50Speaker 1: I'm like the winner of all the daughter's boyfriends.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Oh they're all great.
- 4:57Speaker 3: You're only saying that. So I had a in law
- 5:01Speaker 3: for a while. And while I enjoy her socially, when
- 5:06Speaker 3: it's just me and her at brunch and I can
- 5:09Speaker 3: tune out because I've had a lot of mimosas she's nice,
- 5:13Speaker 3: but I think in group gatherings she's a little bit drama. Yeah,
- 5:20Speaker 3: and so I wouldn't want to invite her to a
- 5:24Speaker 3: lot of things going on in my life. And it
- 5:26Speaker 3: seems like, oh wait, did I ever say who this
- 5:28Speaker 3: was that email? This is Courtney? Sorry, Courtney is who
- 5:32Speaker 3: emailed us? Anyway, Courtney's mother in law sounds like she's
- 5:36Speaker 3: a lot of drama and I feel like you. She's graduating.
- 5:39Speaker 3: That's such a great, big happy day. Yeah, there shouldn't
- 5:42Speaker 3: be anything that ruins it. And so I say, Dylan,
- 5:47Speaker 3: invite mother in law?
- 5:49Speaker 2: Really?
- 5:49Speaker 3: Yeah, protect your piece, girl, She said, I'm torn between
- 5:54Speaker 3: keeping the peace and protecting my own happiness. You have
- 5:56Speaker 3: to protect your own peace. You don't want to be
- 5:58Speaker 3: stressed out on a big day.
- 6:00Speaker 1: That's for you, all right, protect your happiness by getting
- 6:03Speaker 1: that money. Have you ever seen someone disappointed on a
- 6:06Speaker 1: jet ski? If Mama in Lock can get you a
- 6:10Speaker 1: jet ski, she gets the invite.
- 6:12Speaker 3: In my book, Courtney, you need to text us seven one, eight, one,
- 6:15Speaker 3: nine eighty seven is your mother in law loaded? Because
- 6:18Speaker 3: this could change our answer.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Today's riety Big ninety eight point seven is Gabe and
- 6:25Speaker 1: Angie dog walk in weather today, and I mean it
- 6:29Speaker 1: by the truest sense of the phrase, seventy two and
- 6:33Speaker 1: sunny today, because we learned like it was two to
- 6:37Speaker 1: three maybe a month ago. I don't exactly remember, but
- 6:39Speaker 1: anything over seventy eight degrees can be dangerous to watch.
- 6:43Speaker 3: Oh that's right, but this weather, it's seventy eight degrees.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Yeah, you taught me that game, right, Yeah, and seventy
- 6:49Speaker 1: two and sonny, I mean, what more could you need exactly?
- 6:52Speaker 1: All right, all right, we start off the show with
- 6:56Speaker 1: positivity every day. It gives you a reason to smile,
- 6:59Speaker 1: gives you recon to start your day on a positive note.
- 7:02Speaker 1: And we like just sharing little stupid victories and I
- 7:05Speaker 1: mean stupid.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Bye.
- 7:05Speaker 1: It could be anything from hey, you got a new toothbrush,
- 7:08Speaker 1: so you won the power ball exactly.
- 7:10Speaker 3: If you have a little victory you'd like to share
- 7:13Speaker 3: with us, because we really would love to hear it,
- 7:15Speaker 3: you can give us a call seven one two eight
- 7:17Speaker 3: h one ninety eight seven. I have a little victory
- 7:21Speaker 3: that I'm very excited about. I had a bunch of
- 7:24Speaker 3: like spider webs in my garage and I got rid
- 7:29Speaker 3: of them all nice.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Yeah, do you have one of those like wand kind
- 7:33Speaker 1: of deals.
- 7:34Speaker 3: No, you know what I did the very old fashioned
- 7:37Speaker 3: take a broom and bat it all down.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Oh sure, but yeah, and then Gorilla Cinderella right style.
- 7:43Speaker 3: Exactly, and then went to home depot and bought a
- 7:45Speaker 3: new hose and then rinsed out the garage, like my
- 7:48Speaker 3: garage is pristine, because I hear that in the FM area,
- 7:52Speaker 3: hanging out in your garage in the summer is the
- 7:55Speaker 3: thing to do, and I want to do that.
- 7:57Speaker 1: That's the spot. Yeah, for sure, there is. You know,
- 8:00Speaker 1: when you're a kid and your parents are like, oh,
- 8:02Speaker 1: we got to run to home depot quick, it's the worst.
- 8:05Speaker 1: But as you grow up, there is nothing better than going.
- 8:08Speaker 3: To homesh Yeah, it feels so good. Yeah yeah, oh
- 8:13Speaker 3: home improvement.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Yeah, fire, absolutely fire. I love that.
- 8:17Speaker 1: That's a great little victory. Mine's very little. Today I
- 8:20Speaker 1: did not realize today was Wednesday. My brain is a
- 8:22Speaker 1: little messed up with the Memorial Day on all right.
- 8:26Speaker 1: And on the way to work today I was throwing
- 8:29Speaker 1: on my clothes, got in the old truck, drove to work,
- 8:33Speaker 1: got here, I went, oh it's Wednesday. Oh we have
- 8:35Speaker 1: our big like kind of everybody in the building meeting today.
- 8:38Speaker 1: I got a shirt with buttons on. I look pretty
- 8:41Speaker 1: good today. Yeah, I am going to be one of
- 8:43Speaker 1: the top I'd say six, put me in the top
- 8:47Speaker 1: six button shirt dressed people at that time.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Yeah, you know what, you have to hold down the
- 8:53Speaker 3: looking good for it for the big name of eight
- 8:55Speaker 3: point seven show today because I look a little bit rough. No,
- 9:00Speaker 3: I'm in a hoodie and joggers and my hair's in
- 9:04Speaker 3: a bun I'm like in the nineties rom com. This
- 9:08Speaker 3: is the worst.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Well, I got a nice button up shirt to represent
- 9:12Speaker 1: both of us today our big meeting, and I didn't
- 9:14Speaker 1: realize that until I got here, which I absolutely love.
- 9:18Speaker 1: The tea is coming up on Big ninety eight point
- 9:20Speaker 1: seven sols Luke Comb. And there's this woman who has
- 9:24Speaker 1: gotten viral on TikTok who shared her story with a psychic.
- 9:30Speaker 3: So what happened? What did this psychic say, I haven't
- 9:34Speaker 3: way too much, No I noticed, I was just gonna
- 9:37Speaker 3: go straight through.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Okay.
- 9:39Speaker 1: So this lady I essentially went through a divorce right
- 9:43Speaker 1: and then goes to see a psychic more just for
- 9:45Speaker 1: fun and curiosity as opposed to really wanted to know, Like, well,
- 9:49Speaker 1: the man of.
- 9:50Speaker 2: My Dreams show.
- 9:52Speaker 1: And it turns out this psychic predicted a couple things
- 9:56Speaker 1: about this man. Now, once again, who knows me. They
- 10:00Speaker 1: put this in her brain and that's what she's looking.
- 10:02Speaker 3: For, right.
- 10:03Speaker 2: It all is on your own perspective here.
- 10:06Speaker 1: But this psychic said, hey, you're gonna end up with
- 10:08Speaker 1: a black cat in a couple of years due to
- 10:10Speaker 1: the loneliness. All right, the psychic didn't say that. I
- 10:18Speaker 1: added that part in. And then she found this man
- 10:23Speaker 1: who was six' three. Perfectly the psychic, said he'll be
- 10:28Speaker 1: six to, three have A hollywood, smile and really.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Active.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Right oh, Okay so she has now a husband who
- 10:34Speaker 1: is six,' three has perfectly straight teeth and is going
- 10:37Speaker 1: to compete in some big giant Event.
