They Took the Wrong Woman - Her Shoe Became a Lifeline
A retired schoolteacher found a size 7½ tan walking shoe tucked behind a church with a ten-digit phone number and the letters S H L written in dried blood on the orthotic - the number traced to a prepaid phone that received a four-second incoming call at 11:19 PM the night before Sherry Lawson disappeared. Who left the shoe in a hidden alcove reachable only through a gap in a fence, and why was a brief four-second call the single trace that might point to her captors?
In this episode, we follow the timeline from Sherry Lawson’s routine…
