- 0:02Speaker 1: The royal carriage rolled smoothly along the dirt path, heading
- 0:06Speaker 1: back to the safe, brightly lit castle. Inside sat Princess Amara.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Unlike most royalty, Amara didn't carry a heavy golden scepter.
- 0:16Speaker 1: She carried Pokeballs, and her most trusted confidant was the
- 0:20Speaker 1: pink and cream-colored Adino, sitting happily by her side. They
- 0:24Speaker 1: were passing the edge of the infamous Ilex Forest. Known
- 0:28Speaker 1: throughout the Johto region, The Ilex Forest was a place
- 0:31Speaker 1: where the ancient tree canopy was so incredibly thick that
- 0:35Speaker 1: daylight never reached the ground. It was a place of
- 0:38Speaker 1: perpetual twilight, famous for spooky ghost stories and shifting shadows. Suddenly,
- 0:45Speaker 1: Audino's large, sensitive ears twitched. It pressed its face against
- 0:49Speaker 1: the carriage window, letting out a highly concerned, urgent cry.'
- 0:53Speaker 1: Stop the carriage!' Amara ordered instantly. She opened the door
- 0:57Speaker 1: before the wheels had even fully stopped turning. Oddno, what
- 1:01Speaker 1: is it? What do you hear? Audino pointed a small
- 1:04Speaker 1: hand directly into the pitch-black tree line of the forest.
- 1:08Speaker 1: To human ears, there was nothing but the rustling of leaves.
- 1:12Speaker 1: But with its incredible hearing, Audino had picked up a faint,
- 1:16Speaker 1: trembling sound. Someone was crying in the dark. For a princess,
- 1:20Speaker 1: the royal protocol was to return to the castle and
- 1:23Speaker 1: send the guards. But for a Pokémon trainer, the only
- 1:27Speaker 1: protocol was to help those in need. Amara pulled her
- 1:30Speaker 1: heavy emerald cape over her shoulders and grabbed a small,
- 1:34Speaker 1: glowing luminescent crystal from her travel bag. We have to help,
- 1:38Speaker 1: Amara declared, her eyes filled with determination. Lead the way, Audino! Together,
- 1:44Speaker 1: the princess and the healer Pokemon rushed past the tree
- 1:48Speaker 1: line and stepped into the pitch black woods. The air
- 1:52Speaker 1: immediately grew freezing cold. The shadows stretched and twisted around them,
- 1:58Speaker 1: taking on the shapes of towering giants and lurking monsters.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Every snap of a twig beneath Amara's boots echoed loudly
- 2:08Speaker 1: in the heavy silence. It felt exactly like walking into
- 2:13Speaker 1: a spooky episode of a television show, but Amara focused
- 2:17Speaker 1: on Audino, who was carefully tracking the sad, frightened echoes.
- 2:22Speaker 1: They navigated through twisted roots and dense bushes for what
- 2:25Speaker 1: felt like hours. Finally, they reached a small, rocky clearing.
- 2:30Speaker 1: The crying was much louder now, mixed with the distinct
- 2:33Speaker 1: sound of rattling metal. Amara held up her glowing crystal,
- 2:37Speaker 1: cutting through the thick darkness. The soft blue light revealed
- 2:41Speaker 1: a heartbreaking scene. Sitting in the dirt, trapped inside a heavy,
- 2:45Speaker 1: rusted iron cage, was a tiny Cyndaquil. This wasn't an
- 2:50Speaker 1: ordinary trap. Amara recognized the cruel, blocky design and the
- 2:55Speaker 1: faded red R painted on the rusted metal. It was
- 2:58Speaker 1: an old, forgotten trap, left behind years ago by the
- 3:01Speaker 1: villainous Team Rocket. The trap had been sitting open and
- 3:05Speaker 1: broken for years, but the door had somehow swung shut
- 3:09Speaker 1: and jammed tight. Cyndaquil was terrified. It was curled into
- 3:13Speaker 1: a tight little ball, trembling uncontrollably. For a fire-type Pokemon,
- 3:18Speaker 1: Cyndaquil's back should have been roaring with warm, bright flames.
- 3:22Speaker 1: But the little creature was so consumed by fear that
- 3:25Speaker 1: its fire had completely gone out. leaving it freezing in
- 3:29Speaker 1: the cold night air. Amara immediately knelt beside the rusted cage. Oh,
- 3:34Speaker 1: you poor little one, she cooed gently. How did you
- 3:37Speaker 1: end up in this awful thing? Audino stepped forward, its
- 3:41Speaker 1: ears drooping in deep sympathy. It communicated softly with the
- 3:45Speaker 1: trembling Pokemon. Through Audino's translation, Amara quickly understood the story.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Cyndaquil hadn't wandered into the team rocket trap by accident.
- 3:55Speaker 1: A trio of mischievous ghastly had been playing a very
- 3:59Speaker 1: cruel prank. They had chased the little fire mouse through
- 4:02Speaker 1: the dark forest, making terrifying faces and spooky noises, driving
- 4:07Speaker 1: the panicked Cyndaquil right into the old metal cage before
- 4:11Speaker 1: slamming the heavy door shut and floating away, laughing into
- 4:15Speaker 1: the night. Now, trapped in the pitch black, every shadow
- 4:19Speaker 1: looked like a returning ghost to the frightened Cyndaquil. Those
- 4:22Speaker 1: ghastly were very mean to do that to you, Amara said,
- 4:25Speaker 1: her voice dripping with compassion. But you don't have to
- 4:28Speaker 1: be afraid anymore. We are right here, and we are
- 4:31Speaker 1: going to get you out. Amara examined the cage. The
- 4:35Speaker 1: locking mechanism was completely rusted through. It didn't need a key.
- 4:39Speaker 1: It just needed a little bit of leverage. She wedged
- 4:43Speaker 1: a sturdy fallen branch into the door's hinge. With a
- 4:46Speaker 1: determined push from the princess and a helpful tug from Audino,
- 4:50Speaker 1: the old rusted metal groaned loudly and snapped. The heavy
- 4:54Speaker 1: door swung open. Cyndaquil was free! But the little Pokemon
- 5:00Speaker 1: didn't move. It looked out into the vast, dark forest,
- 5:04Speaker 1: its eyes wide with absolute terror. The trees still looked
- 5:08Speaker 1: like monsters. The whispering wind still sounded like ghosts. Even
- 5:13Speaker 1: though the cage was open, Cyndaquil was still trapped by
- 5:16Speaker 1: its own fear of the dark. Amara didn't try to
- 5:19Speaker 1: pull the Pokemon out. As a trainer, she knew that
- 5:23Speaker 1: forcing a Pokemon to be brave never worked. They had
- 5:26Speaker 1: to find their own courage. Instead, she gathered her emerald
- 5:30Speaker 1: velvet cape and sat down right in the dirt, perfectly
- 5:34Speaker 1: eye-level with the frightened creature. She turned off her glowing crystal,
- 5:38Speaker 1: plunging them back into the near darkness. Will Princess Amara
- 5:42Speaker 1: be able to help the terrified Cyndaquil overcome its fear
- 5:45Speaker 1: of the dark? Find out in the full relaxing bedtime episode.
