Main Street Closure Starts Monday | Boise News
Main Street in Boise is getting major roadwork starting Monday, August 31—don’t panic, but plan ahead. The intersection of Whitewater Park Blvd and Main St will be shut down for sewer upgrades tied to new development, with detours via 27th St → State St → Veterans Memorial Pkwy → Curtis Rd. That stretch should reopen by Sept 13. Later this year, Main St west of Whitewater Park Blvd to the Boise River will also close—final phase expected by October 2026.
