- 0:05Speaker 1: Hi, Paul Sakis, Reverend Paul Slacus. Also Faith's spiritual. Believe
- 0:12Speaker 1: what you want, believe how you feel inside of you,
- 0:17Speaker 1: and you are your own religion oven too itself. Okay,
- 0:20Speaker 1: but our show, Good News Broadcast is not a religious show.
- 0:25Speaker 1: It's a spiritual show. It's a show that we encourage
- 0:31Speaker 1: everyone to be who they are. I have a little
- 0:34Speaker 1: picture here, Oh boy, can we see it of a
- 0:37Speaker 1: couple of young children I believe in India holding up
- 0:42Speaker 1: a slipper as to do a selfie. So this week's
- 0:47Speaker 1: Good Newsletter as of July twenty fourth, twenty fifth. Around
- 0:54Speaker 1: that sixth seventh, this week's we're we're focus on and
- 1:00Speaker 1: I thought for the day about how these young kids
- 1:02Speaker 1: are all together and there's some beautiful the commentary. This
- 1:07Speaker 1: has been sent to us by Asha Khan, and we're
- 1:12Speaker 1: honored to have this opportunity for twenty seven years to
- 1:18Speaker 1: share the good in the world. Picture brings joy, It
- 1:23Speaker 1: brings some happiness of childhood. I did the Captain Kangaroo
- 1:28Speaker 1: Show and he said, spend time with your children. On
- 1:31Speaker 1: the other hand, it'll be nice if they had a
- 1:34Speaker 1: cell phone as well. Okay, but each moment together is
- 1:39Speaker 1: the secret of life. You can't smell a smell a
- 1:42Speaker 1: cell phone. You can't really feel emotions with the cell phones.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Let's all stick together in peace and love and harmony.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Peace is free, but love is free. Life is free,
- 1:58Speaker 1: and so let's do our best to manage Mother Earth
- 2:03Speaker 1: in a way that everybody can have. We have enough
- 2:06Speaker 1: for everybody to have and live nicely, and so our
- 2:11Speaker 1: newsletter this week speaks on that subject. We speak on
- 2:15Speaker 1: our upcoming Peace Day concert happening on the weekend of
- 2:20Speaker 1: the nineteenth and the City Hall and hopefully around the
- 2:23Speaker 1: world in a city that hopefully we'll do some pausing
- 2:28Speaker 1: a twelve known they in schools and other departments of
- 2:32Speaker 1: New York and we're excited about that coming up on
- 2:36Speaker 1: the twentieth big concert in Times Square. Worldwide broadcast our
- 2:41Speaker 1: last Earthday got a million point five plus viewers live,
- 2:47Speaker 1: So I think we're growing. We're producing nicer shows closer
- 2:52Speaker 1: to our roots at CBS and PBS TV, and thanks
- 2:58Speaker 1: to all of you, we've had thousands and thousands of
- 3:01Speaker 1: people volunteering to do our Peace Day events. Call me
- 3:05Speaker 1: a two and two six four seven two two if
- 3:08Speaker 1: you want to volunteer for us. We still don't have
- 3:11Speaker 1: enough money for the event, and that's always a challenge. Okay,
- 3:17Speaker 1: So what that means is, let's get some more sponsors.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Let's get some sponsors who are doing good, who can
- 3:23Speaker 1: tell the world about the good that they're doing. For
- 3:26Speaker 1: peace and for mother earth, for domestic violence, for problems
- 3:30Speaker 1: at home, for mentally ill that's all, peace, for stopping war,
- 3:36Speaker 1: for helping those that are lost their homes and the
- 3:39Speaker 1: fire in a flood. We can we do very well
- 3:45Speaker 1: the world. We need to do though more and do better,
- 3:49Speaker 1: So thank you very much. Get a cell phone that
- 3:52Speaker 1: you just tap and it goes to an emergency place
- 3:55Speaker 1: and someone comes and helps you if you're in dire straits.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Let's let's just all work together. All right. We're blessed,
- 4:02Speaker 1: we're alive, we're breathing. Okay, Let's take a moment to rest,
- 4:13Speaker 1: go home, Shanta Chantillon. They say, take a moment to
- 4:18Speaker 1: meditate each day, pause for a moment of silence. Hey,
- 4:21Speaker 1: we got the peace polls and they're joining us this
- 4:25Speaker 1: time with the peace of Prayer. Society going to a
- 4:29Speaker 1: lead a prayer for peace. And Dot Maver does a
- 4:33Speaker 1: piece minute every day. She's just going to be involved.
- 4:37Speaker 1: That a lot of good people have been part of
- 4:39Speaker 1: our outreach for all these years. Who know that the
- 4:44Speaker 1: importance of promoting positive life, promoting the people of the
- 4:50Speaker 1: world who are living in peace. Let's hear it for
- 4:53Speaker 1: the people that aren't bothering Anyboddy, just happy to be
- 4:57Speaker 1: alive and happy to have friends are family around us,
- 5:02Speaker 1: and to hug them and love them, and love the
- 5:07Speaker 1: world and love Mother Earth. I don't know how anybody
- 5:13Speaker 1: could think that Mother Earth isn't hurting. We have a
- 5:16Speaker 1: picture in show fifty years after the Great Blue Marble
- 5:22Speaker 1: photo from NASA. The difference in the cloud cover and
- 5:27Speaker 1: the conditions of Mother Earth. Yes, it has changed. We
- 5:31Speaker 1: used to have ice all over. You'd have to skate
- 5:34Speaker 1: to get around. However, there are these realities. Flooding is
- 5:38Speaker 1: a reality, the sea level rising is a reality. Will
- 5:43Speaker 1: it go down somewhere takes worldwide cooperation, collaboration because it's
- 5:47Speaker 1: one world. We know that we'll be showing this picture later.
- 5:52Speaker 1: That's Mother Earth from the moon by NASA. So let's
- 5:57Speaker 1: all work together. Our event is the International Day of Peace.
- 6:01Speaker 1: It's decleared by the United Nations one hundred ninety three
- 6:03Speaker 1: countries agreed to. It's been around since nineteen eighty four.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Now we've just been strengthening that message for twenty three years.
- 6:09Speaker 1: And there's a big event here in New York, New
- 6:11Speaker 1: York City Climate Week to talk about things that are
- 6:18Speaker 1: helping Mother Earth and corporations that are helping and people
- 6:21Speaker 1: that are helping. So there's a lot of good stuff
- 6:24Speaker 1: in our city. We thank God for good management and
- 6:27Speaker 1: oversight here in New York. We have the bro President
- 6:31Speaker 1: of Manhattan, Mark Levine, helping us. We have a mayors
- 6:37Speaker 1: who has great commissioners, the people doing things, and the
- 6:41Speaker 1: mayors all around doing the best you can. It's not
- 6:44Speaker 1: an easy city. Somebody hurts, somebody in a eight million,
- 6:48Speaker 1: ten million, twelve million preserve. You just can't be everywhere.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Let's be honest and let's be respectful. Okay, we've done
- 6:57Speaker 1: a lot better. The city is great. It's such an
- 7:00Speaker 1: nice city to live. And I'm on the Upper West Side.
- 7:02Speaker 1: It just has gone from the wild wild West to
- 7:05Speaker 1: luxury to luxury in the sense of community and kindness
- 7:10Speaker 1: and loving and hi, hi, Hi, how are you today?
- 7:15Speaker 1: I mean, it's just really nice. So be proud, be proud,
- 7:20Speaker 1: wherever you are, say hello to somebody, say hi, how
- 7:23Speaker 1: are you doing today? Good evening. Got a lot going on,
- 7:29Speaker 1: so there'll be some donation opportunity with the event. Right now.
- 7:36Speaker 1: This is when we need it. This is when the
- 7:38Speaker 1: pressure's on. Are they say in the food business, we're
- 7:42Speaker 1: in the weeds. Okay, We're gonna have a meeting now
- 7:45Speaker 1: with a y young, young global ambassador. The Battery Tour
- 7:51Speaker 1: been doing concerts, trying to get to a thousand with
- 7:54Speaker 1: the use of battery, clean energy. Home, great uplifting, spiritual
- 8:02Speaker 1: organization with great people involved with them that will be performing.
- 8:07Speaker 1: It's going to be a great show, a magnificent weekend,
- 8:11Speaker 1: and we ask you to join in and work with
- 8:16Speaker 1: us to make it so. All right, I'm talking more
- 8:19Speaker 1: than I thought. I got a lot on my chest.
- 8:23Speaker 1: They say, no, I got a lot on my mind.
- 8:26Speaker 1: And that's it, all right, Thank you very much, and
- 8:29Speaker 1: thank you for allowing me to speak to you. We
- 8:32Speaker 1: had about seventy five hundred shows on good news and
- 8:36Speaker 1: share your good news with us. We never say no
- 8:40Speaker 1: unless you're not a nice person, but then we'd actually
- 8:44Speaker 1: say how can we help you? Okay. In the old days,
- 8:48Speaker 1: the Indians, the Native Americans. Native American Indians are Native
- 8:52Speaker 1: Americans are the native indigenous people anywhere in the world.
- 8:57Speaker 1: What they would do is they gathered together if somebody
- 8:59Speaker 1: had some mental illness, of which people have. I did
- 9:03Speaker 1: the Brain series and people heads are parts of their
- 9:07Speaker 1: brain is pushing up against something that's not healthy. They
- 9:11Speaker 1: hug you, They get in a thing and try to
- 9:14Speaker 1: try to work together, work through the camaraderie and love
- 9:18Speaker 1: and hope we'll conquer medicine even Okay, that's the strongest.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Love is stronger than gravity. When you love and touch
- 9:29Speaker 1: somebody or you just be there for somebody. That's that's serious, Okay.
- 9:36Speaker 1: I think Deepak Chopra says that you know, our electricity
- 9:39Speaker 1: goes from one person to the other person. Our energies
- 9:42Speaker 1: go from one person to the other person. All right, guys, girls,
- 9:48Speaker 1: everybody else, and we love you and thank you very
- 9:53Speaker 1: much for joining us. So pause the world for peaces
- 9:56Speaker 1: dot Org is our website. Our peace Day party we
- 10:00Speaker 1: have out there. I have so many. You are old.
- 10:02Speaker 1: I don't know because the business changed over all these years.
- 10:05Speaker 1: It's our fortieth anniversary of our company, Milestone Broadcast Corporation.
- 10:11Speaker 1: And good News started July fourth, nineteen ninety eight, so
- 10:15Speaker 1: we've been around. We've done multicultural marketing, so we have
- 10:18Speaker 1: a little knowledge about all the ethnic communities and niche
- 10:22Speaker 1: markets as well. So we're trying our best to get
- 10:26Speaker 1: everybody on on this place, Mother Earth, all together. Now
- 10:33Speaker 1: we are all in it together. Thank you so much,
- 10:35Speaker 1: thank you,
