- 1:09Speaker 4: do that right now.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Don't love it?
- 1:10Speaker 4: A little too chalky, Gotta start over. See where your
- 1:13Speaker 4: feet are, dude, don't love it? What's a sports show?
- 1:17Speaker 4: If you can't fill out a bracket on a sports show?
- 1:19Speaker 4: Where can you do it? You know it's fair point, Yeah,
- 1:22Speaker 4: it's good point, it's very fair. Then I'll do mine.
- 1:25Speaker 4: I mean, you don't pay attention anyway, So let's see
- 1:28Speaker 4: if you can multitask yep. Doctor Stephen etherid here with it,
- 1:35Speaker 4: says he is every Wednesday dot, how we doing doing great?
- 1:38Speaker 3: He hasn't filled out a bracket either, In case.
- 1:39Speaker 5: I'm not, I have not. I think my son's filled
- 1:42Speaker 5: out like five or six now.
- 1:43Speaker 6: Though, yeah, exactly, I gotta do that research today we
- 1:47Speaker 6: usually do like a family bracket. It's not as easy
- 1:49Speaker 6: to find like a family like a service to fill
- 1:52Speaker 6: out brackets and just follow the five of us.
- 1:55Speaker 5: So I got I can't remember where I did it.
- 1:57Speaker 5: Last year I found it. I think you can career
- 2:00Speaker 5: like your own small one. You're a small little pool.
- 2:02Speaker 6: Yeah, last year because I was like, man, I don't
- 2:06Speaker 6: I don't have five emails to.
- 2:07Speaker 5: Set up five different users. That's the problem.
- 2:11Speaker 6: I just wanted to, like one user count, let me
- 2:12Speaker 6: fill up five rights.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Right, Doc, when you're on these you've been on these trips,
- 2:18Speaker 4: Like when you're on these trips and you're you know,
- 2:20Speaker 4: in a tournament situation doesn't have to be basketball, I know,
- 2:23Speaker 4: gymnastics for you, like you've been gone for a long time, right,
- 2:28Speaker 4: what are some of the like things that like you
- 2:30Speaker 4: got to do to make sure that everybody's ready. It
- 2:32Speaker 4: could be things like you've seen and things like from
- 2:34Speaker 4: your you know, realm and like what you do like
- 2:37Speaker 4: school work. I think you get you got to do
- 2:39Speaker 4: school work, right, like some people like bring that with them. Yeah,
- 2:42Speaker 4: what are these trips like when you just you aren't
- 2:44Speaker 4: home for maybe two weeks.
- 2:46Speaker 7: Yeah, the long trips especially, you know when we're in school.
- 2:48Speaker 7: So in a lot of times when we're football for
- 2:50Speaker 7: a bowl, they're at least out of school, so it's
- 2:52Speaker 7: one less than through.
- 2:53Speaker 5: So it's your point.
- 2:54Speaker 7: You know, a lot of times they'll have some of
- 2:55Speaker 7: the academic advisors on the trips. Sometimes they'll bring the
- 2:57Speaker 7: people to kind of help out with making sure they're
- 2:59Speaker 7: getting assigned is done, doing what they can in that regard.
- 3:01Speaker 7: And you know, from the medical side, it's it's you
- 3:04Speaker 7: got to kind of plan ahead. You know, you can
- 3:06Speaker 7: usually find things wherever you are. It's not like, you know,
- 3:09Speaker 7: if we're going to Houston, there's there's plenty of resources
- 3:11Speaker 7: on the one hand, but on the other hand, if
- 3:13Speaker 7: you get somebody sick and you got to take them
- 3:14Speaker 7: to the hospital of the urgent care or whatever, it
- 3:16Speaker 7: really becomes cumbersome. So so we'll bring, you know, a suitcase
- 3:19Speaker 7: that we'll have a bunch of medications, we'll have ivy fluids,
- 3:22Speaker 7: we'll have things if you need to do injections. The
- 3:24Speaker 7: longer we're there, the more we got to bring, the
- 3:26Speaker 7: more we got to kind of plan ahead.
- 3:27Speaker 5: Yeah, so it's it's a process.
- 3:29Speaker 7: And you'll have really a mini infirmary set up at
- 3:31Speaker 7: the hotel, you know, even for an away game for football,
- 3:34Speaker 7: just a weekend, we'll have a small training room. But
- 3:36Speaker 7: especially right these longer trips, it'll it'll be where we'll
- 3:38Speaker 7: usually have the whole thing set up and we can
- 3:40Speaker 7: we can do outside of surgery or something pretty major,
- 3:42Speaker 7: we can do most of it in the hotel.
- 3:45Speaker 6: When you travel with a team like like for these
- 3:47Speaker 6: extent like even if it's a short like one or
- 3:49Speaker 6: two nights. But then we were talking about kind of
- 3:51Speaker 6: more of extended stay and you deal with something like
- 3:55Speaker 6: flu season, sickness season, and you have a couple of
- 3:58Speaker 6: people that are sick, Like, how do you try? How
- 4:00Speaker 6: do y'all try to keep that contained to just those people?
- 4:03Speaker 6: Because I mean you're in the same either the airplane,
- 4:05Speaker 6: same bus, same hotel, room, same all this stuff. So
- 4:08Speaker 6: how do y'all try to keep that contained?
- 4:10Speaker 5: You try? I think that's the key word. You said. Try.
- 4:12Speaker 5: It's it's really hard.
- 4:13Speaker 7: I mean because the problem too is by the time
- 4:14Speaker 7: they're sick, they've already probably been around the team and
- 4:17Speaker 7: been a little contagious already. We'll sometimes have an extra room,
- 4:20Speaker 7: you know. Uh, you know, I can remember when we
- 4:22Speaker 7: were at Omaha in twenty three, we have one of
- 4:24Speaker 7: our guys that we weren't sure if it was a
- 4:25Speaker 7: stomach bug or food poisoning, but we got him in
- 4:28Speaker 7: his own room, but we're worried about his roommate and
- 4:30Speaker 7: we're trying to get in my v's and his bedroom.
- 4:32Speaker 7: He's alt dehydrated and it was just you know, and
- 4:34Speaker 7: he was miserable, you know. And mind you this is
- 4:36Speaker 7: in June and Omaha and it was one hundred degrees
- 4:39Speaker 7: and just ever every level of miserable. So you try,
- 4:42Speaker 7: you do your best, but it's uh it's you know,
- 4:45Speaker 7: once once and once the flu bug whatever goes around,
- 4:47Speaker 7: you just kind of know it's going to be hitting
- 4:48Speaker 7: other guys.
- 4:49Speaker 6: What's what's the highest temperature del player has ever had
- 4:54Speaker 6: that has actually gone out and performed well.
- 4:57Speaker 7: Uh, well, at the time, we we won't let them
- 5:00Speaker 7: go out there if if they're having a fever, because
- 5:02Speaker 7: your risk of heat, and this really does go up.
- 5:03Speaker 5: That's one of the few kind of hard stops.
- 5:05Speaker 7: Now, if we can get the temperature down, you know,
- 5:08Speaker 7: we've had them, were with probably one o three the
- 5:09Speaker 7: day before or something.
- 5:11Speaker 5: And and but at the time of competition, is just
- 5:14Speaker 5: threshold one hundred in below or probably.
- 5:18Speaker 7: The cutoff most of us use one point four. Okay,
- 5:25Speaker 7: that's kind of what most of us kind of consider fevers.
- 5:27Speaker 7: All right, it's not it's not necessarily above ninety eight six.
- 5:30Speaker 7: You can roll around ninety nine.
- 5:31Speaker 3: That's all right.
- 5:31Speaker 6: This guy, this guy's right on the edge. It's also
- 5:34Speaker 6: our starter. Maybe we give him a little over, Maybe
- 5:37Speaker 6: we give him a little over eight hundred milligrams out
- 5:39Speaker 6: of profen this time.
- 5:40Speaker 5: Maybe I'm drinking a cup of ice cold water right
- 5:42Speaker 5: before you came cold of it.
- 5:45Speaker 4: But what is like non game situation, Like, what is
- 5:50Speaker 4: the one I guess that you would like y'all worry
- 5:52Speaker 4: about the most. Is it the obvious August football?
- 5:56Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 5:56Speaker 7: I think I think definitely it's not as bad as
- 5:59Speaker 7: it used to because the do two days anymore.
- 6:01Speaker 5: You know, two days were rough soft? Uh, yeah, you know,
- 6:04Speaker 5: I have a hard time.
- 6:06Speaker 4: Well, Troy Aman said it, So I was like, He's like,
- 6:07Speaker 4: that's why guys get hurt all the time, and they're
- 6:09Speaker 4: not callous anymore.
- 6:10Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 6:11Speaker 7: There's we talked about that when we were talking about pictures,
- 6:13Speaker 7: and at least at least talking about guys like Nolan
- 6:15Speaker 7: Ryan would literally pitch and just their arm fell off
- 6:17Speaker 7: and still keep going. So you know, there's something we
- 6:19Speaker 7: said for that too, not condoning that for anyone out there.
- 6:22Speaker 3: I am docs not.
- 6:24Speaker 5: I can't.
- 6:25Speaker 4: I can't, I am, but you want to get forged
- 6:28Speaker 4: in the f I'm talking about football, about baseball.
- 6:29Speaker 3: You want to get forged in the fire. Have it
- 6:31Speaker 3: to a day.
- 6:32Speaker 5: You know, I'm not going to argue on that one guy.
- 6:34Speaker 7: You know, I will say for me, it makes life
- 6:36Speaker 7: easier because for two days, you know, we're out there
- 6:38Speaker 7: twice a day, you're so many guys that are cramping.
- 6:40Speaker 5: I mean we're doing thirty at forty I D.
- 6:43Speaker 6: Obviously because they're hydrated. Yeah, of course, of course maybe
- 6:46Speaker 6: other schools.
- 6:47Speaker 7: We do a lot less IVS at camp. You know,
- 6:49Speaker 7: could it be those two days, could it be big
- 6:51Speaker 7: deal the hydration status.
- 6:53Speaker 6: It's it's say those cramps really went down starting about
- 6:57Speaker 6: twenty eighteen.
- 6:59Speaker 5: On the it. So that's the numbers I think show Yeah.
- 7:04Speaker 8: Left dude, Oh know they were going down pretty hard
- 7:07Speaker 8: Texas in twenty nineteen.
- 7:09Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Wow, Hey, I'm just saying.
- 7:12Speaker 7: I was also like one hundred and twenty degrees in
- 7:14Speaker 7: the field and turned off the air they were fake.
- 7:19Speaker 3: I was on the sideline for that game. It was hot.
- 7:22Speaker 5: I think that's it was very hot that day.
- 7:24Speaker 7: No, it was legit I think one ten or one
- 7:25Speaker 7: fifteen when we got there on the field because they
- 7:27Speaker 7: had the turf, so that always increases.
- 7:29Speaker 8: That tim Is it true they stopped the air conditioning in.
- 7:33Speaker 7: The locker Yeah, now we knew because uh u Elman
- 7:37Speaker 7: road played there and they said it. They warned us,
- 7:40Speaker 7: so we brought Hortable a huge it was. It was
- 7:43Speaker 7: like one hundred and twenty degrees in the locker room
- 7:45Speaker 7: when we got there. And that's what and they we
- 7:47Speaker 7: didn't know last week.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Lufkin Texas did that us in high school?
- 7:50Speaker 5: Good? Well?
- 7:51Speaker 4: Well in September, Yeah, District twelve five A was pretty gritty.
- 7:55Speaker 4: Yeah we won, okay, Reggie mean it was a quarterback
- 7:59Speaker 4: remember that guy.
- 8:00Speaker 5: Yeah, y'all are all twenty five cool.
- 8:03Speaker 3: And we ended up with more points than they did.
- 8:06Speaker 5: Also, dude, doc, let's talk about these these pitching ours.
- 8:10Speaker 6: You know you you been locked into the UH World
- 8:13Speaker 6: Baseball Classic.
- 8:15Speaker 5: Yeah a little bit last night.
- 8:16Speaker 6: Yeah yeah. But like, so you have all these teams,
- 8:20Speaker 6: these managers from all over the world. They have, of course,
- 8:22Speaker 6: very high paid pitchers on their staff, and the managers
- 8:27Speaker 6: for these different countries teams are respecting the organization's wishes
- 8:30Speaker 6: and everything.
- 8:31Speaker 5: Like what is.
- 8:34Speaker 6: I mean, everybody knows the injuries that you can get,
- 8:36Speaker 6: but what is like the main issue? Because you have
- 8:40Speaker 6: like schoobl who is pitching sixty seventy pitches in spring
- 8:44Speaker 6: training for his What's the difference between pitching in a
- 8:47Speaker 6: spring training game then going and pitching for USA at
- 8:51Speaker 6: that point? So like what what are the main things
- 8:53Speaker 6: that these teams were probably looking for and like real
- 8:55Speaker 6: worried about.
- 8:56Speaker 3: So I think, excuse me, they got me choked up.
- 9:00Speaker 3: I was really rooting for the US.
- 9:01Speaker 5: A m hm, sorry about that. It's okay.
- 9:06Speaker 4: It was an emotional moment. We all want a team
- 9:08Speaker 4: USA to go all the way.
- 9:10Speaker 5: I get it. Okay, you want to do something.
- 9:17Speaker 4: Yeah, goodness, I'm gonna get do a little cup of
- 9:20Speaker 4: water while you talked.
- 9:22Speaker 3: You got him?
- 9:23Speaker 5: Okay, I know, I get it.
- 9:25Speaker 6: Well, we were talking about being what kind of fever
- 9:28Speaker 6: you could fight through?
- 9:31Speaker 5: Yeah? That got me pretty Is there a bug?
- 9:34Speaker 3: Oh?
- 9:36Speaker 5: I get it. I'm not sure what happened there?
- 9:39Speaker 4: Did you see where he went and pitched to in
- 9:41Speaker 4: spring training? And then he's like, I want to be
- 9:44Speaker 4: with the guys, and so he drove from the Tigers
- 9:47Speaker 4: spring training to Miami because he's like, I'm want to be.
- 9:50Speaker 5: With the team. Oh, he's probably like right there.
- 9:52Speaker 4: Yeah, no, in Lakeland. I think it's like he wanted
- 9:54Speaker 4: to play dress up. Why can't you just like pitch?
- 9:59Speaker 5: They just pitch? Like, what's it like?
- 10:00Speaker 6: That's my thing is what's the difference between pitching seventy
- 10:03Speaker 6: pitches in spring ball for your team and pitching it
- 10:07Speaker 6: for the USA? I mean, that's that's my question. That's
- 10:10Speaker 6: the same amount of pitches.
- 10:14Speaker 3: Dock you good?
- 10:15Speaker 5: I think?
- 10:15Speaker 3: So up in there we got him some water, though.
- 10:19Speaker 5: I appreciate that. I think it's getting better.
- 10:21Speaker 3: There you go.
- 10:23Speaker 9: You.
- 10:23Speaker 4: I would say, I'm I'm gonna give you my meat
- 10:26Speaker 4: head take before it doc gives you the real take.
- 10:28Speaker 4: I would say that those are low stress pitches compared
- 10:31Speaker 4: to pitching against Venezuela and the World Baseball Classic.
- 10:35Speaker 7: That works better. There we go, there you go. Yeah,
- 10:38Speaker 7: I think I think that's the point. It is a
- 10:40Speaker 7: different intensity that you're looking at. But I also kind
- 10:44Speaker 7: of more on y'all side.
- 10:45Speaker 5: I was like, this is USA.
- 10:47Speaker 6: Yeah, what she answers the question I was asking, Yes, sir,
- 10:50Speaker 6: they don't care as much about pitching for their own
- 10:52Speaker 6: team when it doesn't matter.
- 10:54Speaker 4: Like to to your point, though, good luck trying to
- 10:58Speaker 4: tell anybody on the Dominican Republic or Venezuela or Japan
- 11:02Speaker 4: that they couldn't.
- 11:03Speaker 5: Do something right.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Yeah, they were like the I guarantee you.
- 11:07Speaker 6: The closer of Venezuela could did. They did have instructions
- 11:10Speaker 6: that they could only come in and a close.
- 11:12Speaker 3: And close I guarantee you if it would have been
- 11:14Speaker 3: tied because they were.
- 11:15Speaker 4: Running out of pitching, he had been out there, because
- 11:17Speaker 4: he would have walked out there and said, I'm pitching right, Like,
- 11:21Speaker 4: I think that's like, there's not a play. Like they
- 11:24Speaker 4: got the best of the very best from their country,
- 11:28Speaker 4: which is awesome the US and the roster was loaded.
- 11:31Speaker 3: I'm not saying it wasn't. It was, but there was.
- 11:34Speaker 4: Still play, like we could come up with five players, Like, wait,
- 11:36Speaker 4: well was this guy there? He could I think you
- 11:39Speaker 4: could easily do that. Like they weren't going to be
- 11:43Speaker 4: told that they couldn't go out.
- 11:45Speaker 5: That was one of the big knocks is the dedication.
- 11:48Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean you could tell like that. Obviously they
- 11:52Speaker 6: gave everything they had, like they're the people are people playing?
- 11:54Speaker 5: For sure? People are playing.
- 11:55Speaker 4: It's just yeah, but like even pitch again, like hit
- 12:02Speaker 4: a ground ball, you're not gonna get there. But they
- 12:05Speaker 4: were trying the Venezuela US like they treated more like
- 12:09Speaker 4: a hot, grounded out m maybe just be a little
- 12:17Speaker 4: bit more meathead. But it is tough when you have
- 12:20Speaker 4: a tournament and then your season starts. I get that,
- 12:23Speaker 4: I do, But the World Cup's the same situation. Yeah,
- 12:26Speaker 4: if I was, the World Cup can be.
- 12:28Speaker 3: In the summertime, right before the club league starts.
- 12:30Speaker 6: Yeah, and I get like the there's just like any
- 12:33Speaker 6: other sport contractually, if if you get hurt doing something
- 12:37Speaker 6: else not with the team, like your contract could be
- 12:39Speaker 6: boy Like they're like, I'm sure players had insurance, Yeah,
- 12:44Speaker 6: but I'm sure that the teams would be like we're
- 12:46Speaker 6: waiving that for this tournament, not like that's what I
- 12:49Speaker 6: would do as the owner or an organization.
- 12:55Speaker 5: They didn't and we lost, or maybe just hit the.
- 13:00Speaker 6: Bad airon Judge hit the ball, hit the bad hits
- 13:04Speaker 6: the ball, hits the swing, well, you know.
- 13:06Speaker 5: You get it.
- 13:07Speaker 8: Aaron Judge is getting all the flag. Kyle Schwarmer went
- 13:10Speaker 8: over to not over two, he went over he was
- 13:15Speaker 8: over three.
- 13:16Speaker 3: It'll walk in three strikeouts.
- 13:18Speaker 5: Mm hmm.
- 13:19Speaker 3: It's not great. M We almost had to call a
- 13:23Speaker 3: doc for.
- 13:23Speaker 5: Doc, almost had two finally getting there down the wrong.
- 13:28Speaker 8: Tube, Isn't that a myth? Isn't it like a flap
- 13:33Speaker 8: instead of a tube or something like that.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Let's ask a doctor.
- 13:37Speaker 5: A flap that covers the tube? So so it is there,
- 13:40Speaker 5: there is there is, yes, two separate.
- 13:42Speaker 8: I feel like people used to say, like when I
- 13:44Speaker 8: would be like, oh, it went down the wrong pipe, yep,
- 13:47Speaker 8: they would be like, no, you only have one or something.
- 13:50Speaker 5: There's two tunnels. If you will to tubes, I think
- 13:56Speaker 5: tubes are probably better.
- 13:57Speaker 7: You have a wind pipe and then the which is
- 13:59Speaker 7: more collap, but then you have a little flap that
- 14:02Speaker 7: goes over the top of the wind pipe.
- 14:03Speaker 8: So it's supposed to go down your esophagus, but sometimes
- 14:06Speaker 8: it goes down the wind pipe.
- 14:07Speaker 6: Correct, So food can go down the wind pipe, Yes,
- 14:10Speaker 6: that's when it goes down there.
- 14:12Speaker 5: That's choking. You better hope it comes back up or
- 14:16Speaker 5: else you're probably okay.
- 14:17Speaker 6: So like if I'm sitting here talking about, oh, that
- 14:19Speaker 6: went down there wrong tube, like it didn't.
- 14:21Speaker 5: Actually it can. It's all relative.
- 14:25Speaker 3: But if it's small enough not to choke you, maybe.
- 14:27Speaker 7: Right, well, you can make it all the way into
- 14:31Speaker 7: the airways, and that's you know, sometimes you'll get that's
- 14:33Speaker 7: often when you start coughing, when you get the irritation.
- 14:35Speaker 7: That's something can lead to aspiration pneumonia if you ever
- 14:37Speaker 7: heard that term. But it makes it to your stomach somehow, No,
- 14:40Speaker 7: no where I go. I guess if you cough it
- 14:42Speaker 7: back up and then swallow it. But otherwise your body
- 14:44Speaker 7: will hopefully reabsorb whatever is in there or you have
- 14:48Speaker 7: to cough it out.
- 14:48Speaker 5: Most times you're gonna cough it out. Yeah, got like
- 14:50Speaker 5: food in your lungs.
- 14:52Speaker 4: That's now that you say that, I'm like, oh, yeah,
- 14:54Speaker 4: like choking a little bit, like you coughing a little bit.
- 14:57Speaker 3: And then also just like you cough once, just like
- 15:02Speaker 3: there it comes. Oh man, we almost had to in
- 15:06Speaker 3: a real situation here with doc. Didn't even know it.
- 15:08Speaker 5: Don't cough, Doc trying not to.
- 15:11Speaker 6: Uh man, I'm kind of my mind's kind of blown
- 15:13Speaker 6: right now.
- 15:14Speaker 4: Uh see, we have we have asked the doc question,
- 15:18Speaker 4: what's the best thing for someone with an office job
- 15:22Speaker 4: to do for their health?
- 15:23Speaker 3: So I guess if they're sitting all day.
- 15:25Speaker 7: So that's a you know, that's become a big problem.
- 15:27Speaker 7: A lot of people are more sedentary. So I think, yeah,
- 15:30Speaker 7: I think you got to get up and move around.
- 15:32Speaker 7: You know, I think there's very few scenarios where you can't.
- 15:34Speaker 7: But you just got to make yourself do it, you know,
- 15:36Speaker 7: whether it's just getting up and walking around the office
- 15:39Speaker 7: doing a few sit ups or push ups, if you
- 15:40Speaker 7: have the space in a worst case scenario.
- 15:43Speaker 5: You can you can at least do things with while
- 15:45Speaker 5: you're at your desk.
- 15:46Speaker 7: You know, you can just you know, I tell a
- 15:48Speaker 7: lot of my older patients that have bad knees, they
- 15:51Speaker 7: make the small little bike things you can put on
- 15:52Speaker 7: your desk, where you say that a pedal.
- 15:53Speaker 5: I don't know if you do that at work and
- 15:55Speaker 5: they might might be distracting.
- 15:56Speaker 4: But yeah, walking treadmills, I know that's kind of become
- 15:58Speaker 4: in vogue a little bit.
- 15:59Speaker 5: Yeah, there's there's there's a lot of people that are
- 16:01Speaker 5: doing that.
- 16:01Speaker 3: I think we need to show in one.
- 16:03Speaker 5: Gon be interested. Not just a standing desk. Does that
- 16:06Speaker 5: do anything for you? That that does?
- 16:07Speaker 7: You know, even with the standing desk, even just using
- 16:10Speaker 7: the ones that you can do both were can stand
- 16:11Speaker 7: and sit down, but a lot of times it will
- 16:13Speaker 7: help your posture. People have a lot of back issues.
- 16:15Speaker 7: A lot of them do better with the standing desk.
- 16:18Speaker 3: I sit for six hours.
- 16:19Speaker 6: I got one of the little buzz buzz ones at
- 16:21Speaker 6: my office that goes up and down.
- 16:23Speaker 5: That big deal.
- 16:24Speaker 3: It's really not. They sell a lot of them.
- 16:28Speaker 6: Cool they are, They're awesome. I love standing. I love
- 16:32Speaker 6: standing the city.
- 16:33Speaker 3: All right, I love the dog didn't choke here on
- 16:36Speaker 3: the show.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Oh about what about? What are your thoughts on laying down? Matt?
- 16:44Speaker 5: Yeah? I love just leaning back. It's all good.
- 16:50Speaker 4: Do you go to gymnastics meet the last one? I mean,
- 16:53Speaker 4: I know it's a sport that you.
- 16:54Speaker 7: So I covered gymnastics, but I was actually a conference
- 16:57Speaker 7: in that Nashville.
- 16:59Speaker 3: You didn't get to see the three tens.
- 17:01Speaker 5: Did not. Now I watched obviously watched three plays and
- 17:03Speaker 5: that's pretty awesome. She's fantastic.
- 17:05Speaker 3: Yeah, it's we talked.
- 17:09Speaker 4: About it last week, like what they do, like what
- 17:11Speaker 4: their bodies go through, it's remarkable.
- 17:14Speaker 5: It's crazy. It's crazy. And then we leave a Thursday
- 17:16Speaker 5: for Tulsa.
- 17:17Speaker 7: We got the SEC Championship in Tulsa on Saturday.
- 17:20Speaker 3: Hold the SEC Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
- 17:24Speaker 5: Ulsa, Oklahoma, obvious doesn't feel right.
- 17:29Speaker 4: Yeah, UHC Country, Tulsa, Oklahoma, what big deal.
- 17:35Speaker 3: It's like the media days being in Tampa this year.
- 17:37Speaker 3: I'm like, Tampa, what.
- 17:39Speaker 7: It doesn't make a lot of sense. But I guess
- 17:41Speaker 7: they try to do it in states that we have schools.
- 17:44Speaker 7: I guess Oklahoma is now one of those, but not
- 17:46Speaker 7: in the city where the school is. So, for example,
- 17:47Speaker 7: we had it in New Orleans. They'll do it in Atlanta,
- 17:50Speaker 7: they'll do it in places like that, but they don't
- 17:51Speaker 7: want to do it at the school's hometown. But obviously
- 17:54Speaker 7: this will be a big Oklahoma home meet basically, but
- 17:57Speaker 7: we had in New Orleans last.
- 17:58Speaker 5: Year, so.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Yeah, it feels more SEC than.
- 18:02Speaker 5: It does Tulsa does not sound sec a bad town?
- 18:06Speaker 2: More fun?
- 18:07Speaker 3: Maybe.
- 18:07Speaker 5: Yeah. I just don't know anybody that's like itching to
- 18:09Speaker 5: go to Tulsa.
- 18:11Speaker 7: I've never been, so i'll give you all. Yeah, it's okay.
- 18:13Speaker 7: It is what you make it. You've had, You've probably
- 18:16Speaker 7: to go to a conference there. I've been to Tulsa once. Yeah,
- 18:20Speaker 7: it's like, yeah, it's a good show.
- 18:24Speaker 3: And Paramount Tulsa King, Yes, Paramount.
- 18:29Speaker 5: Sloan, Yeah, Taylor Sheridan, so it's probably Paramount h.
- 18:33Speaker 8: It's probably Yellowstone in a different font.
- 18:35Speaker 3: No, it's Sevester Sloan, so it's a little different. But god,
- 18:39Speaker 3: I love I love Sly. Who's to doc? Didn't die?
- 18:43Speaker 3: That's great, die doctor. We appreciate you. Thank you, sir.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Uh make sure you'll joke.
- 18:52Speaker 5: On the way out at Yeah, that one got me.

- 19:45Speaker 4: go directly to help that family with medical bills, recovery

- 21:15Speaker 9: Bcond so shaking.
- 21:19Speaker 4: All right, Welcome back in O T B. Here live
- 21:22Speaker 4: from the Raise of Kane Studio. Our Wednesday show is
- 21:24Speaker 4: brought to you by hood Dental Care Well R and
- 21:27Speaker 4: Me Wednesday as well.
- 21:31Speaker 3: Will Nervous say with Doc he couldn't couldn't find.
- 21:35Speaker 5: It bad feeling. We've all been there.
- 21:39Speaker 2: I had to go to the second floor for that
- 21:41Speaker 2: water bottle.
- 21:42Speaker 5: By the way, you're quick too, must work.
- 21:44Speaker 2: I know exactly where it is.
- 21:46Speaker 8: You weren't even out of breath.
- 21:47Speaker 2: It's for believe it or not.
- 21:51Speaker 8: No, I just get out of breath going up the stairs.
- 21:53Speaker 4: The stairs are different every day, Yeah they are because
- 21:56Speaker 4: some days nothing.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Some days I literally.
- 21:58Speaker 8: Can run for and not get out of breath. But
- 22:01Speaker 8: those stairs get me every time, and my knees crack
- 22:06Speaker 8: like kind of in a concerning way. I'm like, I
- 22:09Speaker 8: don't know if my knees are supposed to sound like
- 22:11Speaker 8: this every step I take. But those stairs are brutal.
- 22:14Speaker 2: So it's even weirder for me, because like, I'll come
- 22:16Speaker 2: in on a Tuesday, walk up the stairs, no problem.
- 22:19Speaker 2: I come in on Wednesday, I'm like out of breath.
- 22:21Speaker 2: But I'm like, what happened overnight? We had an it
- 22:25Speaker 2: guy in here yesterday. He was he had to walk
- 22:27Speaker 2: up the stairs a few times. Said he was talking
- 22:29Speaker 2: to Paul the engineer, and he's like, hey, Paul, can
- 22:32Speaker 2: you come uh downstairs? And a come look atself, and
- 22:37Speaker 2: he walked out. I went to Muso.
- 22:38Speaker 5: I was like, we check on that guy. Respect him
- 22:41Speaker 5: for taking the stairs though, Oh yeah, respect. It depends
- 22:45Speaker 5: on how much sleep you get the night before.
- 22:47Speaker 6: The later I go to sleep, the more out of
- 22:49Speaker 6: breath I am going upstairs. Some days I hit a little, slight,
- 22:53Speaker 6: little jog, don't even feel it.
- 22:56Speaker 8: Sometimes I skip a step.
- 22:58Speaker 5: Oh not a big deal, show off, No big.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Deal at all.
- 23:06Speaker 8: Yeah, no follow up to that.
- 23:08Speaker 4: I think the most important part is that we all
- 23:11Speaker 4: take the stairs and not the elevator here.
- 23:12Speaker 6: It's important. It's a four story building. Guys, got to
- 23:16Speaker 6: train your mind as well as your body.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Oh I have I have called out mister Kitchens on
- 23:20Speaker 2: a number of occasions because he does have a quick
- 23:22Speaker 2: turnaround between shows. But he'll come up the elevator, come
- 23:25Speaker 2: in here, print out hants, live sheets, go back down.
- 23:28Speaker 2: And I'm like, Jordan, you're going up one flight of
- 23:29Speaker 2: stairs and his response is, well, I gotta get back quick.
- 23:32Speaker 2: I'm like, Bys, it's quicker to take the stairs than that.
- 23:36Speaker 5: Yeah, hit a little John. Do you see how fast
- 23:38Speaker 5: Taylor just got that water bottle. I'm like, the stairs
- 23:40Speaker 5: are also quicker, soees, what an excuse?
- 23:46Speaker 8: Well, he does live a cushy life in a country club.
- 23:49Speaker 2: True. Jordan's like I'm used To's like, I'm used to
- 23:52Speaker 2: traveling by golf guard only.
- 23:54Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Usually actually they picked me up and carry me there.
- 23:57Speaker 8: So yeah, I take my hoverboard everywhere.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Driver in here, He's like, I have to take the
- 24:02Speaker 2: elevator to my driver doesn't have a key cord.
- 24:06Speaker 5: You're right, dude, I'm sorry. Almost was a work in
- 24:08Speaker 5: this environment.
- 24:10Speaker 2: I'm like, GEORGI, you know what's worse than the elevator?
- 24:12Speaker 2: Anthony mackium a right, how about that?
- 24:14Speaker 3: Yuh oh my god, I forgot about that.
- 24:18Speaker 2: I'll never forget that. I was waiting for such a
- 24:21Speaker 2: good story and it was just not.
- 24:24Speaker 3: Did y'all see you last night. Probably not. I mean
- 24:28Speaker 3: we were dialed into the NBA by any means, like
- 24:30Speaker 3: other things to watch.
- 24:31Speaker 4: I don't know if you saw it on the socials
- 24:33Speaker 4: Alex Crusoe his shoe fell off and they were playing
- 24:38Speaker 4: the Magic He plays for the Thunder, of course, and
- 24:41Speaker 4: he went to swipe at the ball, but he had
- 24:43Speaker 4: his shoe in his hand because it fell off and
- 24:44Speaker 4: he picked it up. So he's going to swipe at
- 24:47Speaker 4: the ball with his shoe and like it's trying to
- 24:50Speaker 4: play defense with his shoe in his hand, and swipes
- 24:52Speaker 4: at the ball and actually hits it with his shoe.
- 24:55Speaker 5: Did they count it as a yeah?
- 24:57Speaker 3: Technical?
- 24:58Speaker 2: Well it was about sixty like a technical kick it
- 25:02Speaker 2: with you, like if the shoes in your hand.
- 25:05Speaker 8: Wait, did y'all see this is a completely different sports. Softball.
- 25:09Speaker 8: It was at Florida State. One of the hitters was
- 25:11Speaker 8: hitting and I forget who they're playing, but the picture
- 25:15Speaker 8: the ball got away from her a slow roller and
- 25:18Speaker 8: the took like on the ground and she took it,
- 25:21Speaker 8: and they counted it as a hit by.
- 25:22Speaker 4: Pitch because I mean, if it hits the ground, hit you,
- 25:24Speaker 4: it's still your hip. How did it not come back
- 25:28Speaker 4: because she didn't.
- 25:29Speaker 8: Yeah, she really didn't. That's a good point. I didn't.
- 25:33Speaker 8: I don't know if they ended up challenging it or not.
- 25:35Speaker 8: But like the clip that I saw she took first base,
- 25:38Speaker 8: it was just a slow.
- 25:39Speaker 3: Roller like literally like bowling style and hit.
- 25:46Speaker 8: I don't know how she recovers from that one.
- 25:48Speaker 4: You never come back from that, Matthew. When's the last
- 25:51Speaker 4: time you watched an NBA game when I was a child?
- 26:00Speaker 5: Did you to be?
- 26:00Speaker 2: Like I called a few.
- 26:02Speaker 5: Jordan's playing, Yeah, hit that pose up against the Jazz.
- 26:09Speaker 2: That's the last game you watched?
- 26:12Speaker 5: Maybe.
- 26:13Speaker 6: I was actually in Indianapolis last year, uh for a conference,
- 26:17Speaker 6: and I had gone to a get some dinner in
- 26:21Speaker 6: the downtown area. It's kind of local sports bar, and
- 26:23Speaker 6: I was like, you know, I just packed like I
- 26:25Speaker 6: was just trying to get trying to get like a
- 26:27Speaker 6: beer and a and a burger or something like that.
- 26:30Speaker 6: I could barely find a spot to sit. I get
- 26:32Speaker 6: in and like turns out the Pacers were playing and
- 26:36Speaker 6: I was in Indianapolis.
- 26:37Speaker 5: It was actually a pretty fun environment.
- 26:40Speaker 8: Like last year. Yeah it was last year, yeah, last year.
- 26:44Speaker 6: Yeah, it was before he hurt himself. Man, I was
- 26:51Speaker 6: pulling for him to win that series. I think it
- 26:54Speaker 6: was a series before that. I saw it was a
- 26:57Speaker 6: conference finals. Yeah, I think it's conference finals for he
- 27:00Speaker 6: don't want the.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Oh yeah, the Nicks.
- 27:07Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 27:07Speaker 8: I don't remember.
- 27:08Speaker 4: It was because Reggie Miller did it. Oh yeah, it
- 27:11Speaker 4: was that. It was that so he did the same thing.
- 27:13Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, it was actually I believe it was that game.
- 27:17Speaker 6: It was fun. I mean I really was watching like
- 27:19Speaker 6: this is the end. I was cheering everybody else. Like
- 27:22Speaker 6: the energy in the place was cool.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Now that that's a good that's a good place to be, man,
- 27:25Speaker 2: that's that's fun.
- 27:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 27:28Speaker 6: The coolest place I've ever been was I was in twice.
- 27:33Speaker 5: I had been in uh. We were on vacation.
- 27:37Speaker 6: We were overseas across the poem. I was my wife
- 27:41Speaker 6: and I were on our honeymoon. We were in Italy
- 27:44Speaker 6: and we were walking down we just got dinner. We
- 27:46Speaker 6: were we were walking down you know, whatever the street
- 27:49Speaker 6: or the wherever whatever you do in Italy, and we
- 27:52Speaker 6: stopped by this like little cool, little square in the
- 27:56Speaker 6: middle of the city and it's where like a lot
- 27:59Speaker 6: of the youths were there, A lot of the young,
- 28:01Speaker 6: young adults, yeah, the youth, and they were all gathered
- 28:05Speaker 6: around and you got all these like little outside bars
- 28:08Speaker 6: and you got all this cool.
- 28:09Speaker 8: Like Tigerland, Yeah, exactly, just like Tyland.
- 28:13Speaker 6: And they had this huge screen set out and it
- 28:15Speaker 6: was actually it was the World during the World Cup.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Oh cool.
- 28:18Speaker 5: Italy was playing.
- 28:19Speaker 6: Yeah, And so we sat there and sat in the
- 28:22Speaker 6: square in Italy. We did We didn't really realize what
- 28:25Speaker 6: was happening, right, We didn't go there for this. We
- 28:28Speaker 6: just walked up on like being in the middle of
- 28:30Speaker 6: an Italian crowd.
- 28:31Speaker 5: Watching Italy play.
- 28:31Speaker 8: Yeah. Awesome, awesome.
- 28:33Speaker 9: We uh.
- 28:33Speaker 2: When we were in Nashville back in November, it was
- 28:37Speaker 2: Ohio State Michigan game and we were walking down the
- 28:39Speaker 2: street and they have like a Draftking sports book right
- 28:42Speaker 2: there with all the downtown bars and Victoria's. Like I've
- 28:43Speaker 2: never been into sports books. I was like, guy, look,
- 28:45Speaker 2: I'll go in and show you. So we sit at
- 28:47Speaker 2: the bar right there at the front. A family of
- 28:50Speaker 2: about thirty five to forty people, all decked out in
- 28:54Speaker 2: Ohio State gear like took over the bar. Like I'm
- 28:58Speaker 2: going to the bathroom and I've run into two guys
- 29:00Speaker 2: like on my way out, I stopped.
- 29:01Speaker 5: Him, like, ask you as a question, like do y'all
- 29:03Speaker 5: all know each other?
- 29:04Speaker 2: And they're like, yeah, we pick a big city once
- 29:06Speaker 2: a year and our entire family from all across the
- 29:09Speaker 2: country meets up. It's like fifty of them. Like it
- 29:11Speaker 2: was like an Ohio State bar. It was actually really cool.
- 29:13Speaker 5: That's fun.
- 29:15Speaker 6: Those kind of those kind of like apospheres are cool
- 29:17Speaker 6: when everybody's like of the same mindset. You don't know anybody,
- 29:23Speaker 6: but you're in like a you know, a smaller area,
- 29:25Speaker 6: but an area where you.
- 29:26Speaker 5: Like to have fun.
- 29:26Speaker 6: I have a couple of cold pops, but everybody's got
- 29:28Speaker 6: the same mindset for a sporting event, and it's an
- 29:31Speaker 6: exciting sporting event.
- 29:33Speaker 5: It's fun, good stuff. Sports are great.
- 29:37Speaker 3: You know, today is Wednesday, three one eight.
- 29:44Speaker 8: My phone just started playing something super random. Just now
- 29:46Speaker 8: opened up Instagram and it was just.
- 29:49Speaker 3: Three Today's Happy three one eight.
- 29:51Speaker 8: Day shout out fifty no doubt.
- 29:57Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:57Speaker 4: See he went to say something bad about it, then
- 29:59Speaker 4: he realized, oh, yeah, we play up in the three
- 30:01Speaker 4: one eight and I gotta be nice.
- 30:04Speaker 6: Oh oh I have to, but you did, I saw it. No,
- 30:09Speaker 6: I I'm just glad. You remember when it's fantastic. It's
- 30:12Speaker 6: the people that brag about one grade.
- 30:15Speaker 4: They're the worst favorite three one eater.
- 30:21Speaker 5: Mm's not really.
- 30:24Speaker 3: I mean we'll take it though, like from there.
- 30:27Speaker 2: From there, I mean honestly, outside of you, I don't
- 30:30Speaker 2: know a ton of people from there, like you and
- 30:32Speaker 2: haunts bro Oh yeah, Kicksbrook's true and Jordan Davis. Jordan
- 30:36Speaker 2: Davis is up there as well. I know way more
- 30:40Speaker 2: people than I thought I did.
- 30:44Speaker 8: My fiance from Saturday.
- 30:46Speaker 5: Nice, O you go and go try. I forgot about
- 30:50Speaker 5: the Yeah, when do you go up there?
- 30:54Speaker 8: When do I go up there?
- 30:56Speaker 5: No?
- 30:56Speaker 4: We didn't.
- 30:59Speaker 8: Sorry the show You're yeah one day, like we're both
- 31:01Speaker 8: gonna show up anyway. Shepherd, I know who he is,
- 31:06Speaker 8: but I'm not.
- 31:07Speaker 3: I don't.
- 31:08Speaker 8: I think he wants to be Stevie Raybaugh.
- 31:10Speaker 2: People I know personally, it's only you and Hunt.
- 31:14Speaker 4: Really, you know two people from Streeport. You live in
- 31:17Speaker 4: Louisiana your whole life.
- 31:19Speaker 2: No, for I don't know where a lot of people
- 31:21Speaker 2: are from. Guys, it's not part of the conversation.
- 31:23Speaker 5: Get into.
- 31:25Speaker 8: Dak Prescott. That's Taylor's favorite person from street.
- 31:30Speaker 3: It's from Halton, but it's close enough.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah, no, I said.
- 31:36Speaker 6: Everything north of Alexandria. Yeah, yeah, and what is Alexandria? Okay,
- 31:44Speaker 6: so they count is south of Alexandria. It depends on
- 31:47Speaker 6: where you are.
- 31:47Speaker 10: I think once it turned into two to five two
- 31:50Speaker 10: two five is turning to three three seven because three
- 31:55Speaker 10: lusis west right.
- 31:57Speaker 2: You hang on, I got you right here, there's a
- 31:59Speaker 2: there's a here he could map, but uh, I guess
- 32:02Speaker 2: celebrity wise play kicks Brooks.
- 32:06Speaker 3: I don't know. I feel like the duck commander people
- 32:08Speaker 3: would be right up your alleys.
- 32:09Speaker 2: It'd be great. Yeah, like as far as like who
- 32:12Speaker 2: is gonna hang out with? Yes, but just have listed
- 32:15Speaker 2: the Brooks have done forever.
- 32:16Speaker 3: So I mean, yeah, you're American.
- 32:18Speaker 5: So yeah, it's your red blooded American male.
- 32:22Speaker 3: Jared let Us from Bocher.
- 32:24Speaker 8: Hank Williams junior.
- 32:25Speaker 3: Hank Williams was born there. Yeah.
- 32:28Speaker 2: Tim McGraw's from and uh, where's Trace Adkins room?
- 32:33Speaker 4: They same, like, I mean small town, but I don't
- 32:36Speaker 4: remember which one, but he played football for Louisian tachy h.
- 32:41Speaker 5: I take it back. I apparently know a lot of people.
- 32:43Speaker 8: Exactly Hurricane Chris.
- 32:46Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I'm looking it up. Right now. I didn't
- 32:50Speaker 3: think he came to Hurricane Chris, you're on.
- 32:51Speaker 8: Here when I look it up.
- 32:53Speaker 3: Oh, thank you nice. I think they answers Jacob Hester.
- 32:56Speaker 8: Yeah, they answers Jacob Hester and Hunt Palmer and my fiance.
- 33:01Speaker 3: Happy through one eight.
- 33:02Speaker 5: There you go.
- 33:02Speaker 2: There's a little there's a little map.
- 33:04Speaker 5: So okay, all right, this answers a lot.
- 33:06Speaker 6: This is good because obviously we definitely knew as of
- 33:10Speaker 6: a couple of mo ago that nine eighty five went
- 33:11Speaker 6: down to Homa.
- 33:12Speaker 5: Opelousis is I think two to five.
- 33:14Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like it's kind of because.
- 33:16Speaker 6: Right there at the edge of it, like I feel
- 33:18Speaker 6: like the nine eight five area code is a little drunk.
- 33:21Speaker 4: Dude, the ninety five area code, said Lee Roud Jenkins.
- 33:24Speaker 6: I mean, what's this, Like it just north Shore all
- 33:28Speaker 6: the way down to Venice, over Toahoma, over like up
- 33:31Speaker 6: into kind of getting close to like Bruce Sarda.
- 33:34Speaker 2: Yeah, look, Lafayette's almost in that area code.
- 33:39Speaker 3: I mean nine A five.
- 33:40Speaker 5: You're absolutely drunk.
- 33:42Speaker 3: Yeah, So, like I don't even figure it out. I
- 33:45Speaker 3: don't even remember who it was.
- 33:46Speaker 4: They're not with us anymore, but I remember, like we
- 33:48Speaker 4: gave out the number because it's like ninety five or like, yeah,
- 33:50Speaker 4: if you're on the north shore and in Homa nine
- 33:53Speaker 4: eighty five, and I was like, well, no, it's like,
- 33:55Speaker 4: don't service all the ninety five.
- 33:57Speaker 3: I was like, we have a ninety five number, not
- 33:58Speaker 3: on the north shore. I'm like, what do you mean?
- 34:01Speaker 3: Nine five? So if you look at this, I mean,
- 34:04Speaker 3: it's like makes a lot of sense.
- 34:05Speaker 6: Now, it's like this, it's got this like drunk look
- 34:07Speaker 6: and little shape that ninety five is. Then it just
- 34:09Speaker 6: skips over New Orleans, goes back over to like Venis
- 34:13Speaker 6: and everything. Look at that, like what is that? Like,
- 34:16Speaker 6: what are you doing?
- 34:17Speaker 4: Ninety five? This should one hundred percent be five I before,
- 34:20Speaker 4: I mean five before? It is literally just.
- 34:24Speaker 8: Yeah, should we ask Milkey what she thinks?
- 34:28Speaker 3: Yeah, probably she'll have an answer for us.
- 34:31Speaker 2: Yeah, coach, you recruit a lot. Why is ninety five terrible?
- 34:34Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 34:35Speaker 4: Last night if I have such a dumb area card, Uh,
- 34:40Speaker 4: coach had practiced until eight thirty. That's why she is
- 34:43Speaker 4: pushed back trying to get ready to guess a little
- 34:46Speaker 4: letter they call like the tournament or or something.
- 34:48Speaker 5: Yes, that's fine, I don't.
- 34:50Speaker 3: Know, it's pretty cool.
- 34:53Speaker 4: I love how the women's game, you get a reward
- 34:56Speaker 4: and you get to host, like if you're one of
- 34:59Speaker 4: those top four, like you get the host Like it's
- 35:01Speaker 4: great revenue for your school. It's you know, as I said,
- 35:05Speaker 4: it's like a reward for a great season and you
- 35:09Speaker 4: get an advantage, which is what you should do.
- 35:11Speaker 3: Like you earn an advantage. I like it I wish
- 35:13Speaker 3: the men's tournament would do it too.
- 35:16Speaker 5: That's fun. She's at a forty five.
- 35:19Speaker 3: Yep, you getting those questions ready?
- 35:23Speaker 8: No, just yeah, I know you have a lot of them.
- 35:31Speaker 5: I do.
- 35:32Speaker 4: Are burning Jacksonville, Texas Tech, Villanova. This man over here
- 35:40Speaker 4: getting his pen ready, all right, before we do take
- 35:43Speaker 4: this break and we are going to have Coach Mulkey on.
- 35:46Speaker 4: Always want to remind you that March is Cooling Cancer
- 35:48Speaker 4: Awareness Month, and it is always a good reminder that
- 35:50Speaker 4: colon cancer is one of the most common cancers, but
- 35:52Speaker 4: it's also one of the most preventable win called early
- 35:55Speaker 4: and it's all about screening. So if you're forty five
- 36:00Speaker 4: or older and you have him in screen, now is
- 36:02Speaker 4: the time to do so. And if you have a
- 36:04Speaker 4: family history or you're feeling some symptoms of it, like
- 36:07Speaker 4: go ahead and get check, do not wait. And we
- 36:09Speaker 4: know the koln Oskby is the best screening tool, but
- 36:12Speaker 4: for some people are also simple at home tests that
- 36:14Speaker 4: may be an option. So the key is talking with
- 36:16Speaker 4: your doctor, having a relationship with a primary care provider.
- 36:20Speaker 4: It's going to help you make sure you're getting the
- 36:22Speaker 4: right screenings at the right time. You can schedule your
- 36:25Speaker 4: appointment today at aser dot org slash schedule, or you
- 36:28Speaker 4: can always do it on the my ostionnar app so
- 36:30Speaker 4: schedules today dot org slash schedule or through the my
- 36:35Speaker 4: oshner app. All right, so we are going to step
- 36:38Speaker 4: away a little bit early here, so hopefully coach is
- 36:41Speaker 4: ready to go. She had practice till eight thirty, so
- 36:44Speaker 4: hopefully we can get a couple of minutes with coach
- 36:46Speaker 4: Kim Mulkey. We've also got Tyler Schuck, Saints quarterback joining
- 36:49Speaker 4: us in twenty minutes from now.
- 36:50Speaker 3: Stay locked in here to OTB.
- 36:53Speaker 9: Doster Ben.
- 36:57Speaker 4: Right, go to what I'm going to gig Gordon dot com,
- 37:01Speaker 4: Gordon Curnin and Injury Attorneys. When you go to the website,

- 37:30Speaker 5: It doesn't matter what area code.

- 38:05Speaker 1: Off the Bench presented by Hood Dental.
- 38:11Speaker 4: All right, welcome back here and OTV here on this
- 38:13Speaker 4: Wednesday morning. Always enjoy our Wednesday mornings. We'll get a
- 38:16Speaker 4: chance to catch up with else you have basketball coach
- 38:18Speaker 4: Kim Moulke. We're gonna do so now, coach, we appreciate
- 38:21Speaker 4: the time. How practice go this morning, Well, it's seven.
- 38:25Speaker 9: O'clock in the morning, and you know, it's kind of
- 38:29Speaker 9: like we're ready to play. I mean, the hardest time
- 38:32Speaker 9: in the season is waiting, you know, and we have
- 38:35Speaker 9: to wait after the conference tournament is over until the
- 38:39Speaker 9: pairings are announced, and then you take off two or
- 38:41Speaker 9: three days and then you got to wait another week.
- 38:44Speaker 9: It's just they're just you're kind of like chomping at
- 38:46Speaker 9: the bit, you know, so you got to kind of
- 38:48Speaker 9: keep them fired up. And at the same time, we've
- 38:52Speaker 9: had good practices. We really have I think seven o'clock
- 38:55Speaker 9: in the morning kind of you know, it's different because
- 38:59Speaker 9: we don't normally go own that early, but we went
- 39:01Speaker 9: early because the NC DOUBLEA takes over the floor at
- 39:04Speaker 9: nine am this morning, right, and so you will not
- 39:07Speaker 9: be able to get on the floor for extra shooting
- 39:11Speaker 9: or anything like that. So get some shots up this
- 39:14Speaker 9: morning and we'll have all the press conference stuff tomorrow
- 39:17Speaker 9: and our fine practice time. And yeah, it's it's here.
- 39:23Speaker 9: It's you know, it's that time of year.
- 39:25Speaker 4: That's right, A coach, we were talking about right before
- 39:28Speaker 4: you hopped on like you know, you get a chance
- 39:30Speaker 4: to host, like in women's basketball, which I love. I
- 39:32Speaker 4: love it as a reward for the season that you
- 39:34Speaker 4: had in the regular season. Your fans get a chance
- 39:37Speaker 4: to see their team play postseason in your own arena.
- 39:40Speaker 4: So when you have a situation like that, what are
- 39:43Speaker 4: maybe some of the advantages. And I know the NC DOUBLEA,
- 39:45Speaker 4: like you said, they do take over at some point
- 39:47Speaker 4: they run in, but what are the advantages of playing
- 39:50Speaker 4: hopefully two rounds in your own building.
- 39:53Speaker 9: Well, the advantages are you sleeping your own bed. You
- 39:56Speaker 9: kind of have your same routine with a few distractions
- 40:01Speaker 9: like press conferences and practice times are different. But it's
- 40:06Speaker 9: a reward for a great season. And I'm gonna harp
- 40:10Speaker 9: on this this morning, and I hope everybody listens, and
- 40:13Speaker 9: I hope you guys post it. If we're fortunate enough
- 40:17Speaker 9: to beat Jacksonville, get out here on Sunday and watch
- 40:22Speaker 9: Flag that will be her last game ever. And I
- 40:27Speaker 9: get emotional because that kid that's meant so much to
- 40:30Speaker 9: our program. We should sell it out. And not only
- 40:35Speaker 9: should we sell it out, I don't want to hear
- 40:37Speaker 9: anybody gripe about the cost of a ticket. We are
- 40:40Speaker 9: not in charge of that. NCAA sells those tickets. They
- 40:44Speaker 9: take over our ticket office, they take over the seats.
- 40:47Speaker 9: We're having to move great donors to other seats because
- 40:51Speaker 9: you have to give each team a certain number of
- 40:54Speaker 9: seats in proximity to their benches. But that kid means
- 41:01Speaker 9: so much to this university, and if we don't sell
- 41:05Speaker 9: it out, there's no baseball game Sunday. And we need
- 41:09Speaker 9: to do it, and we need to promote it because
- 41:12Speaker 9: she's going to be dearly missed, not just in my program,
- 41:16Speaker 9: but at this university.
- 41:19Speaker 6: Well said, very well said coach, and every time coach,
- 41:23Speaker 6: with all due respect to everybody, like when your team
- 41:26Speaker 6: takes it forward, it should always be a sellout. And
- 41:29Speaker 6: starting with sorry with Jacksonville, and we'll start their coach
- 41:34Speaker 6: prepping for of course, the first round and hopefully prepping
- 41:37Speaker 6: for many mini rounds. But let's talk to us about
- 41:40Speaker 6: this Jacksonville team that you're getting ready to face.
- 41:42Speaker 9: Well, Jacksonville, they didn't win the league, they won the
- 41:46Speaker 9: conference tournament. However, they had a great season if you
- 41:50Speaker 9: look at their record, and we will this is how
- 41:53Speaker 9: we worked it. We have prepared for every team here,
- 41:57Speaker 9: all three, each day and then we will present Jacksonville
- 42:01Speaker 9: scouting report tomorrow. We'll get in the film room and
- 42:04Speaker 9: we will work on them all day tomorrow, and then
- 42:08Speaker 9: we will have the five o'clock game on Friday, and
- 42:12Speaker 9: then the seven point thirty game between Texas Tech and
- 42:16Speaker 9: Villanova will follow, and if we're fortunate enough to win,
- 42:20Speaker 9: then we will scout that game. And yes, we should,
- 42:24Speaker 9: we should have a sellout. I said this to the
- 42:27Speaker 9: Baylor fans. I said it over and over and over.
- 42:32Speaker 9: Do not take these first and second round games for granted.
- 42:36Speaker 9: They won't last forever. It's hard to do. And I
- 42:42Speaker 9: think that Baylor's probably, you know, wishing they were hosting
- 42:46Speaker 9: first and second round games every year like they used to.
- 42:49Speaker 9: It doesn't just happen. You don't outbid people, You can't
- 42:53Speaker 9: buy them, you earn them. And to think that five
- 42:56Speaker 9: years in a row we have had that and get
- 43:00Speaker 9: out here, have a great crowd five o'clock. It's tough
- 43:03Speaker 9: on a Friday. I get it, but we can do it.
- 43:06Speaker 9: And I'll say it again, Flase Johnson deserves a sellout
- 43:12Speaker 9: for both games, and if we are fortunate to win both,
- 43:15Speaker 9: then we go to Sacramento we're in the sweet sixteen.
- 43:18Speaker 9: Don't take that for granted.
- 43:20Speaker 3: It is hard, right, no question about it.
- 43:24Speaker 4: Coach, and I think we're all looking forward to seeing
- 43:26Speaker 4: your team play a couple of games coming up, and
- 43:30Speaker 4: you're exactly right. This team deserves to be in front
- 43:33Speaker 4: of a sold out crowd. The fans have been great
- 43:35Speaker 4: all year. Let's have two more times out where they
- 43:38Speaker 4: show up and they show out. You're right, doesn't matter
- 43:41Speaker 4: if it's Friday, find a way, ask for permission, get
- 43:45Speaker 4: a note from coach, get out work, maybe a little
- 43:47Speaker 4: bit early, because this team and this coaching staff deserves
- 43:50Speaker 4: your very best.
- 43:51Speaker 3: Coach.
- 43:52Speaker 4: We know you're very busy during this time trying to
- 43:53Speaker 4: get ready for the NCAA tournament. We certainly appreciate a
- 43:56Speaker 4: couple of minutes here this morning.
- 43:58Speaker 9: Gots take care.
- 43:59Speaker 4: Thanks for having me, all right, Head basketball coach Kim
- 44:01Speaker 4: Moulkey good enough to join us every Wednesday here on OTB.
- 44:05Speaker 4: All right, we'll take a break quick segment when we
- 44:06Speaker 4: come back. Then we'll get to Saints quarterback Tyler Shuck
- 44:09Speaker 4: here on OTB. Off the bench, all go to Central

- 44:24Speaker 4: know Matt's gonna tell you a little bit about that information.

- 45:44Speaker 4: that happened in the first segment of this hour here.
- 45:47Speaker 4: They kind of threw us off a little bit. Uh,
- 45:49Speaker 4: Coach Molkey had to push back. So it was kind
- 45:51Speaker 4: of a weird time. So we were trying to you know, schedule,
- 45:53Speaker 4: I messed up the segments. It is what it is.
- 45:55Speaker 3: But we do have New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Schuck.
- 45:59Speaker 4: It's gonna to be joining us Tyler Shuck.
- 46:03Speaker 3: Oh buddy.
- 46:04Speaker 4: If you don't think that we're asking him which one
- 46:05Speaker 4: is going to be the official tagline of the show,
- 46:07Speaker 4: you are crazy, so very excited for that. Obviously had
- 46:11Speaker 4: a fantastic rookie year. The team's adding pieces for him.
- 46:15Speaker 4: What huh, crushing it all right? Sure that we've been

- 46:46Speaker 4: is not lip service.
- 46:47Speaker 3: I promise you right.
- 46:49Speaker 4: They want to ride in the black Widow because I
- 46:51Speaker 4: am driving that Jeep Black Widow, that Wrangler around town.
