Transcript
- 0:06Speaker 1: Welcome to Brief Recess. I'm Michael Foote, I'm Melissa Albranch.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Today we're going to be talking about planking and how
- 0:11Speaker 1: it foreshadows the collapse of society. Were to talk about
- 0:15Speaker 1: presidential theater, the RFK kid rock music video, how we
- 0:22Speaker 1: made all the frat boys days by giving them a
- 0:24Speaker 1: dab rig cathartic trash, talk about Christy Noman, Don Junior,
- 0:29Speaker 1: and Pam Bondi. We're going to have an interview with
- 0:31Speaker 1: prolific adult film starring musician Boomer Banks and all of
- 0:36Speaker 1: the tales from the Dams are going to answer your
- 0:38Speaker 1: questions to stick around. Were you ever smoker? Okay, sorry,
- 0:45Speaker 1: mom's watching. No, you never smoked.
- 0:47Speaker 2: No, in high school, like everybody out by.
- 0:50Speaker 1: The dumpster, no smoked. We would to drive around in
- 0:54Speaker 1: front of us.
- 0:54Speaker 2: To steal my dad's cigarettes.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you told me that. Yeah, my dad.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Smoked marbo red hard pack and then he moved over
- 1:04Speaker 3: to the soft gold pack.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah it is. It's you know, it gives a
- 1:09Speaker 1: little it's a nice er, it's so smoother, Okay, healthy.
- 1:15Speaker 3: What's really interesting about the smoking that I did is
- 1:18Speaker 3: that I did it because everybody else was.
- 1:20Speaker 1: It wasn't like you didn't even like it, not that much. Yeah.
- 1:23Speaker 1: I talked about this with Karen and Kelly Martha Kelly,
- 1:26Speaker 1: and when I was out in La, Yeah, and we
- 1:28Speaker 1: were we talked a lot about smoking because it was
- 1:31Speaker 1: like what we were doing back then. I mean, I
- 1:35Speaker 1: feel like this generation is all vaping. It's not about cigarettes.
- 1:40Speaker 3: I'm actually always really surprised when I see a young
- 1:44Speaker 3: person smoking a cigarette.
- 1:46Speaker 4: Yeah, like oh yeah, wow, oh okay.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Okay, so's keeping that alive.
- 1:51Speaker 1: I think the boys from Heated Rivalry are smokers, and
- 1:53Speaker 1: I see them like on my Instagram. I think so
- 1:58Speaker 1: not to spread information but miss information, but I do
- 2:01Speaker 1: feel like maybe at least one of them is okay.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 2:03Speaker 1: But yeah, someone sent me like a through social media.
- 2:08Speaker 1: They sent me a gift and it was like all
- 2:09Speaker 1: this smoking paraphernalia marijuana though.
- 2:12Speaker 2: It was like, well that's I think that's different.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Yeah, oh yeah definitely. But it was like really complicated
- 2:19Speaker 1: stuff and I'm not that serious about marijuana.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Not did they send you actual marijuana or did they
- 2:24Speaker 2: send you.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Okay, no, interstate interstate commerce. Oh no, no no no.
- 2:30Speaker 1: It was just like like a bong and it was
- 2:32Speaker 1: like a bong, but it was like very modern looking,
- 2:34Speaker 1: and then something else was like it was like a
- 2:36Speaker 1: metal thing. For I think people do like a wax
- 2:40Speaker 1: or some sort of resin that they smoke, and I didn't.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm really not that serious about it.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Do you ever feel like we are running out of
- 2:48Speaker 2: shit to do to ourselves?
- 2:49Speaker 1: Do you know what I mean?
- 2:50Speaker 2: We're running out of shit to do to ourselves. We're
- 2:53Speaker 2: running out of things to talk about, We're running out
- 2:55Speaker 2: of different ways to like alter our appearances, things to do.
- 2:59Speaker 1: When we started planking back in like two thousand and nine,
- 3:03Speaker 1: that was when we were like, can't shut it down,
- 3:06Speaker 1: Like that's a wrap planking the kids, it's over. That
- 3:10Speaker 1: was it. When I saw an Australian schoolgirl planking on
- 3:13Speaker 1: a car on a Toyota. Yeah, no, that was when
- 3:16Speaker 1: we ran out of shit to do.
- 3:17Speaker 4: Did you do it?
- 3:18Speaker 5: No?
- 3:18Speaker 1: I talked about it.
- 3:19Speaker 2: A lot though, so you never did it?
- 3:21Speaker 1: No? I was too old. I wasn't going to plank
- 3:23Speaker 1: in lawsco on I write a criminal law? No, yeah,
- 3:27Speaker 1: I also planking in the courtroom, your honor excuse me.
- 3:32Speaker 2: It seemed like a really weird and uncomfortable thing to do, right, Yeah, yeah,
- 3:37Speaker 2: your entire body?
- 3:38Speaker 1: What do you wait with your face when you're planking?
- 3:40Speaker 1: Get in the comments if you've ever planked, and let
- 3:42Speaker 1: us know where'd you put you?
- 3:44Speaker 2: Send us a picture. I need to see this.
- 3:47Speaker 3: But let's let's not reintroduce that to people. Don't plank,
- 3:51Speaker 3: it's you look stupid.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Let's get into a sidebar. How's your week, bend? What's happened?
- 3:57Speaker 1: And what's going on? What's the tea? What's what's what's happening?
- 4:00Speaker 3: And I decided that I was going to sort of
- 4:03Speaker 3: like disengage from the news last week.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Oh how'd that go? Bright as we're entering a war
- 4:09Speaker 1: with a ron? Right?
- 4:10Speaker 2: Because of that exactly? Okay, I was like, I'm tired.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Yeah right, I'm tired of I'm tired of a lot
- 4:17Speaker 2: of things, but I am tired of like the incessant
- 4:20Speaker 2: cruelty and the violence.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Sure, and you.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Know it's almost always the people who have the most
- 4:29Speaker 3: to lose who lose more.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Yes, I have a therapist once say that the human
- 4:34Speaker 1: brain has not evolved to a place where it can
- 4:36Speaker 1: comprehend mass scale suffering at all times, because that's what
- 4:41Speaker 1: we're witnessing every time we look at our phone, every
- 4:43Speaker 1: time we turn on the news, we're watching other people
- 4:45Speaker 1: suffer at a grand scale. Our brains really aren't equipped
- 4:49Speaker 1: to handle that at all times without grace.
- 4:51Speaker 3: The other thing is is that we now have more
- 4:53Speaker 3: access to the violence, so that now I'm seeing pictures right,
- 4:58Speaker 3: like I don't want want to see like another beheaded child.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Do you know what I'm saying, Because you can't unsee
- 5:06Speaker 3: those things. Yeah, And it's the kind of thing that
- 5:09Speaker 3: I will think about later, you.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Know what I mean.
- 5:12Speaker 3: And maybe that's a good thing, right, Maybe it's good
- 5:14Speaker 3: that I'm thinking about it, But, like it said.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Something about your humanity. If you're if it's bothering you,
- 5:20Speaker 1: like I think that's important.
- 5:21Speaker 3: If I get to a place where I don't give
- 5:22Speaker 3: a shit, that's a bigger that's.
- 5:24Speaker 1: The more concerning. I think a lot of war reporters
- 5:27Speaker 1: talk about this where they do end up getting so
- 5:30Speaker 1: disassociated that they can't but I also understand it bothers
- 5:35Speaker 1: them anymore.
- 5:35Speaker 3: That's a way to protect yourself, right, If you're constantly
- 5:39Speaker 3: seeing those things, then if you are constantly being upset about.
- 5:41Speaker 1: It, brain's protecting you from the one. I saw something
- 5:45Speaker 1: today that ninety five percent of Google searches of the
- 5:47Speaker 1: Epstein files have gone down since the war in Iran.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Like the distraction is working. Yeah. See, I'm not going
- 5:54Speaker 1: to shut up about it.
- 5:55Speaker 2: No, and we shouldn't. We shouldn't shut up about it.
- 5:57Speaker 3: And you know, the other thing that I'm tired of,
- 6:00Speaker 3: I'm tired of watching the presidence of the United States
- 6:06Speaker 3: be like.
- 6:09Speaker 1: I'm so existing with weird rashes on his neck and
- 6:12Speaker 1: handing and.
- 6:13Speaker 2: The disgust is so overwhelming. Yes, I'm tired of how
- 6:19Speaker 2: crooked he is. Yeah, I'm tired of just little sort
- 6:22Speaker 2: of like how disgusting he is to look at.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I'm tired of like how he's still pretending to kind
- 6:28Speaker 1: of be a president, like he's giving a State of
- 6:30Speaker 1: the Union address as if everything's normal, as if his
- 6:34Speaker 1: approval ratings aren't twenty nine percent or I mean ridiculous.
- 6:38Speaker 3: So, but the reason he has to do that, right,
- 6:40Speaker 3: because in order to sort of like that's the part
- 6:42Speaker 3: of the grift, yes, right, is that I'm going to
- 6:45Speaker 3: act like there's nothing going on, and on the contrary,
- 6:48Speaker 3: I'm going to tell you my numbers have never been
- 6:50Speaker 3: better everybody loves me.
- 6:51Speaker 2: We're doing a phenomenal job. This is incredible, really incredible,
- 6:55Speaker 2: And it's the.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Speech they give you, like right before layoffs out of company.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Our numbers are nothing worried about. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 7:05Speaker 2: Like it's just all getting.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Laid off from society.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Christineoan and like, oh what Pete what's his name? It's
- 7:14Speaker 2: just too much.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just who's the guy who did like one
- 7:19Speaker 1: pull up? He's like the head it's like the head
- 7:23Speaker 1: of defense for America was I think it was Pete
- 7:26Speaker 1: Seth he did like one pull up?
- 7:27Speaker 2: All right, you know what, let's.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Take a break. Let's get into your algorithm is showing
- 7:32Speaker 1: because this is straight from your algorithm, I think. And
- 7:35Speaker 1: it came up of mind too.
- 7:36Speaker 3: This is the other thing that I'm sick and tired of. Right,
- 7:40Speaker 3: that weird ass video that RFK did with kid Rock.
- 7:44Speaker 1: That's the start of every gay porn. I'm sorry those
- 7:48Speaker 1: kid Rock and our today we have on. It's on
- 7:52Speaker 1: my mind, Yeah I did.
- 7:54Speaker 2: We got We've got Bloomer Banks on about that star.
- 7:58Speaker 1: On the weekend. Let's ask him about our the RFK junior.
- 8:01Speaker 1: And that's honestly like a less weird intro to probably
- 8:05Speaker 1: some of the gay porns that Boomer has been a
- 8:06Speaker 1: part of.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean the thing about it is is like, Okay, let's.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Just for for the sake of whatever, right, let's assume
- 8:13Speaker 3: that we think that RFK is doing a great job
- 8:16Speaker 3: and we like him.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Let's let's just say that.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Sure, is there any part of watching that video that
- 8:23Speaker 3: makes people feel uncomfortable?
- 8:25Speaker 2: Like I feel like I'm looking at something that I
- 8:27Speaker 2: shouldn't be sitting right now? What what's going on? What's what?
- 8:31Speaker 1: Someone air dropped me this in the airport and I'm.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Like, this feels this field like I'm about this is
- 8:36Speaker 3: something I don't want to see?
- 8:37Speaker 2: Yeah, right, yeah, and then and then and then it's.
- 8:40Speaker 1: What did I say, Newton's law? Lost physics. It's always
- 8:43Speaker 1: the person you don't want to see in the gym
- 8:46Speaker 1: locker room, in the jockstrap schlanging and banging. It's always
- 8:51Speaker 1: always that good rock looking motherfucker and the RFK looking.
- 8:55Speaker 3: But yeah, I watched that for like and I and
- 8:57Speaker 3: I I kept on going back that I was.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Like, because I was like, I was going to actually,
- 9:06Speaker 1: we're just going to circle back to the Yeah, if
- 9:08Speaker 1: we could refer.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Back to the why is why am I not seeing anybody? Echo?
- 9:14Speaker 2: How fucking weird it is?
- 9:15Speaker 1: It's weird, it is so weird. Week Times did like
- 9:19Speaker 1: a breakdown of it. They were like, what is this
- 9:22Speaker 1: so weird? Also, what is it promoting? It's like something remember.
- 9:25Speaker 2: When the reporters would even the point.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Some like reporters from the UK BBC reporters went undercover
- 9:30Speaker 1: in North Korea and like filmed the weird things that
- 9:33Speaker 1: would happen in North Korea. It was like that, like
- 9:36Speaker 1: some of the strange footage that was like.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Lost and he got in and he got into an
- 9:43Speaker 2: ice bath with his jeans on.
- 9:44Speaker 1: I mean, I don't want to, like I don't want
- 9:46Speaker 1: to like get into body shaming anyone.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Oh no, no, no it's not that's not what it is
- 9:50Speaker 2: that weird. Well it's and also I think I also
- 9:55Speaker 2: don't know what the point was. What were you trying
- 9:58Speaker 2: to show us?
- 10:00Speaker 4: Right?
- 10:00Speaker 2: Are you showing us maybe that RFK, who is in
- 10:03Speaker 2: good shape, sure, versus Kid Rock who is not in
- 10:06Speaker 2: good shape, and maybe we're trying to get Kid Rock
- 10:09Speaker 2: to anything?
- 10:10Speaker 1: What story?
- 10:11Speaker 2: What are we trying to tell here?
- 10:13Speaker 1: Or was this like I honestly, were there any words
- 10:16Speaker 1: with the video? It was just like video was there first?
- 10:20Speaker 1: With your gens on? Is are they? It's like a
- 10:22Speaker 1: never nude from Tobias Blues.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Then you get out of the ice bath with your
- 10:26Speaker 2: jeans on. There's nothing worse than a wet pair of jeens.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Sorry. I've done a lot of drugs and alcohol in
- 10:31Speaker 1: my life, and I've never gotten in a bathtub with
- 10:34Speaker 1: my genes on.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Yes, absolutely, yes, absolutely, yes, yes, absolutely, Like.
- 10:39Speaker 1: We talked about this, I know.
- 10:40Speaker 2: But like the history of it's like a matter of
- 10:43Speaker 2: course that people just drink a lot and do drugs.
- 10:45Speaker 2: I never did. But and I'm not saying that is
- 10:49Speaker 2: trophies in the math. No, no, no, no, no, I don't
- 10:50Speaker 2: mean that for you.
- 10:51Speaker 1: You have all your natural teeth.
- 10:54Speaker 2: I do nice, must be nice, But but no, I don't.
- 10:57Speaker 2: I'm not saying it that way. I'm saying that it's
- 10:59Speaker 2: really interesting. I was so uninterested, yes, and that's what
- 11:04Speaker 2: I mean.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Oh, it was the only thing I was interested in interesting. Yeah,
- 11:07Speaker 1: I mean like there was I mean I was in
- 11:10Speaker 1: a small town. There was nothing else to do, especially
- 11:12Speaker 1: if you were gay as shit, Like there's nothing else
- 11:15Speaker 1: going on. There's no other gay people.
- 11:16Speaker 2: H well, I'm there are a ton of gay people.
- 11:19Speaker 4: You just didn't know.
- 11:20Speaker 1: My only friend committed suicide. Oh no, And I was
- 11:22Speaker 1: like fifteen, Oh that's awful. And it was like the
- 11:25Speaker 1: only other gay person I knew. Yeah, we're going like weird.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Dark yeah, but little trigger warning me.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, oh yeah tw but yeah, so it was like,
- 11:34Speaker 1: what else am I going to fucking do? Let's hit
- 11:36Speaker 1: the bottle. Yeah. When I was like younger, so that's
- 11:39Speaker 1: why I was like smoking and drinking and experimenting with drugs.
- 11:42Speaker 1: I guess I wasn't like addicted to drugs that, which
- 11:44Speaker 1: is good. Yeah, yeah, which is why I'm not triggered
- 11:47Speaker 1: when people mail me all sorts of drug paraphernalia' so.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Random was nobody mails me shit, I would like something.
- 11:55Speaker 1: There were so many I could have given you some
- 11:57Speaker 1: of these.
- 11:57Speaker 2: I don't want that, okay.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Well there were two bongs, and the one bong looked
- 12:01Speaker 1: like a coffee cup. It was like you flipped the
- 12:04Speaker 1: straw up and that was the and I was like, oh,
- 12:06Speaker 1: that's kind of interesting. But I was like I don't
- 12:07Speaker 1: really smoke out of a bong. So I was like
- 12:11Speaker 1: there's this area in my apartment building where you leave
- 12:14Speaker 1: things the ton't want anymore?
- 12:16Speaker 2: Wait is it gun?
- 12:18Speaker 1: So if I was taking it downstairs, and it was
- 12:20Speaker 1: on Saturday night because I went off Friday night, so
- 12:22Speaker 1: Saturday night was the night of rest. Okay, we're a
- 12:25Speaker 1: Christian household, and so we get in the elevator and
- 12:30Speaker 1: it's like a group of frat boys in the elevator
- 12:33Speaker 1: and I was like, oh, okay, do.
- 12:35Speaker 2: You guys want this?
- 12:36Speaker 1: I was like, do you guys know what this is?
- 12:38Speaker 1: And they're like, oh, yeah, we know what that is.
- 12:41Speaker 1: That's like a bong. And they like took in. They're
- 12:43Speaker 1: like taking out of the packaging and they're like, are
- 12:44Speaker 1: you sure you don't want this? It's like really expensive.
- 12:47Speaker 1: And I was like yeah, Like I'm good, thank you.
- 12:50Speaker 1: I learned how to roll a joint in tenth grade.
- 12:54Speaker 1: I'm like, that is how I'm smoking if I need
- 12:56Speaker 1: to smoke. And they were so I hear them leaving
- 12:59Speaker 1: the building and they're like yo, and then they like
- 13:02Speaker 1: yelled the name of the brand. They were like, it's
- 13:04Speaker 1: this brand, Oh my god, whatever, Yeah, it's puff Code.
- 13:08Speaker 1: They were like, it's puff Code. Did you oh my God,
- 13:10Speaker 1: that guy gave it. It was so funny. I could
- 13:12Speaker 1: hear them.
- 13:13Speaker 2: I think the brand now is going to be upset
- 13:15Speaker 2: with you. But you gave away their things.
- 13:17Speaker 4: Oh.
- 13:17Speaker 1: I think they were like they just sent it. They
- 13:18Speaker 1: were like. I don't think they were like you must no, no,
- 13:21Speaker 1: not you mum must go like an ounce.
- 13:25Speaker 2: I feel like.
- 13:25Speaker 3: If somebody is sending you merch, yeah, they would like
- 13:29Speaker 3: for you.
- 13:30Speaker 1: I think I think they wanted me to like post
- 13:33Speaker 1: about it correct and now instead you've given it to
- 13:36Speaker 1: a bunch of frat boys.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Michael is an ingrate me.
- 13:39Speaker 1: However, you know what I made those frat boys night.
- 13:45Speaker 1: They're still talking about it. They're like, you did remember
- 13:48Speaker 1: that bald guy in sweatpants who just like gave us
- 13:50Speaker 1: the six? What guy?
- 13:52Speaker 2: You know, the old guy in his late thirties.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Jason Statham? Who was it? It was that guy?
- 14:00Speaker 5: Wait?
- 14:00Speaker 1: Oh my god, wait my algorithm. Okay, wait, we're like
- 14:03Speaker 1: talking about like dark stuff. I did have a PSA.
- 14:05Speaker 1: I saw yesterday that there's there's a report that DHS
- 14:11Speaker 1: and ICE are moving pregnant migrants to Texas so that
- 14:15Speaker 1: they don't have to provide abortion care because in Texas
- 14:19Speaker 1: it's basically illegal to get an abortion. It's almost impossible,
- 14:22Speaker 1: especially if you're at a detention center, right And so
- 14:24Speaker 1: there's been this like big expose that they are indeed
- 14:28Speaker 1: doing this, and I thought it was an important opportunity
- 14:32Speaker 1: to talk a bit about. There is this term that
- 14:35Speaker 1: came up in the report called a pregnant child that
- 14:39Speaker 1: people have really are hung up on. Rightfully, So, sure,
- 14:43Speaker 1: a pregnant child child and they're usually survivors of sexual
- 14:47Speaker 1: assault trigger warning. Yeah, I think it's really important to
- 14:50Speaker 1: talk about because I saw a lot of comments to
- 14:51Speaker 1: people sending it to me, asking me about child pregnancy,
- 14:56Speaker 1: what that is, why that is, and sort of like
- 15:00Speaker 1: do a breakdown of that. So I think it's important
- 15:03Speaker 1: to highlight that rape survivors are oftentimes not afforded abortion
- 15:10Speaker 1: care in Texas. That's very real. That's like a women's issue.
- 15:13Speaker 1: And it's this like awful crossover episode with what's happening
- 15:16Speaker 1: in immigration in America right now, because they're sort of
- 15:20Speaker 1: like forcing these survivors of rape to carry out a pregnancy.
- 15:25Speaker 1: That oftentimes, in my experience, when I have migrants help
- 15:29Speaker 1: asking me for help as their lawyer, and they're pregnant.
- 15:32Speaker 1: They're fleeing a regime where sexual violence is sort of
- 15:38Speaker 1: like a part of the culture or a part of
- 15:41Speaker 1: the humanitarian crisis in that country. They're coming here for
- 15:44Speaker 1: a siglum relief, to get away from that humanitarian crisis
- 15:49Speaker 1: to a country that's supposed to be recognized as a
- 15:51Speaker 1: place where we have basic human rights and especially women's
- 15:55Speaker 1: rights and women's care. So I wanted to highlight that
- 15:59Speaker 1: because I think I hear this a lot of like, well,
- 16:02Speaker 1: why are they here? There's just like a lot of
- 16:04Speaker 1: non understanding, like why migrants are here? Why there are
- 16:07Speaker 1: so many migrants in America? And I will say that
- 16:09Speaker 1: it's because we are Our location is a place where
- 16:13Speaker 1: people can access America, and it's one of the places
- 16:17Speaker 1: where we're supposed to have these rights in this care.
- 16:19Speaker 1: And they get here and oftentimes they're held in a
- 16:22Speaker 1: detention center that is in worse conditions than the country
- 16:25Speaker 1: they're fleeing. So this sort of like misconception around, oh, well,
- 16:31Speaker 1: why don't they just go home? Or they wanted to
- 16:34Speaker 1: move here because they wanted to be a rapper in
- 16:35Speaker 1: a music video. Right, No, they're thirteen and they were
- 16:39Speaker 1: raped and they're now pregnant and they're coming here to
- 16:42Speaker 1: get away from their family or their assailant.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Or horrible conditions of Yeah.
- 16:49Speaker 1: I had a client who is an adult now who
- 16:52Speaker 1: I was representing, and a part of the military regime
- 16:57Speaker 1: when they were growing up in their Central American country
- 17:01Speaker 1: was that sexual violence against children was a part of
- 17:05Speaker 1: a military strategy. So it was a way to keep
- 17:08Speaker 1: people in line and a way to keep people afraid
- 17:11Speaker 1: of the government, and it was documented and institutionalized in
- 17:16Speaker 1: the government and military tactics. So I think what people are, like,
- 17:20Speaker 1: why do they want to come here? Or a judge
- 17:22Speaker 1: will ask my client, what do you want to do
- 17:24Speaker 1: when you're here? What's your dream job? And it's like, no, baby,
- 17:28Speaker 1: Like We're literally just trying to survive.
- 17:30Speaker 2: I'm trying to survive.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Like it's not I want.
- 17:33Speaker 3: I would like the opportunity to survive, like the opportunity
- 17:36Speaker 3: to live provide a certain standard of care for my
- 17:42Speaker 3: family and myself. Yeah, but that is exactly the kind of.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Thing that I'm sick of, Do you know what I mean?
- 17:49Speaker 3: I mean, and I understand that I need to hear it, right, Yeah,
- 17:53Speaker 3: but sometimes I just need a break and.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Take that break, honey, do you know what I mean something?
- 17:58Speaker 1: Because people I so many people contact me like, hey,
- 18:02Speaker 1: I'm burning out, but I watch your videos because like
- 18:05Speaker 1: you give me hope and it's a little bit of insight,
- 18:07Speaker 1: but I'm not anxious. It's not the doom scrolling, right,
- 18:10Speaker 1: it's a little bit of a disruption from that. Take
- 18:15Speaker 1: a break, go to yoga.
- 18:17Speaker 2: You also provide the information with some humor, right.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Thank you? You do. I try, no, I try, but
- 18:25Speaker 1: sometimes it gets really serious.
- 18:26Speaker 2: No, no, no, I mean you. You definitely also have your
- 18:28Speaker 2: serious moments.
- 18:29Speaker 3: But it's I think that that's what makes it palatable
- 18:34Speaker 3: for people, right, is like, oh, this guy's obviously smart,
- 18:37Speaker 3: you know what he's talking about, but he's also like funny.
- 18:41Speaker 1: I guess so uncomfortable with compliments, I'm sorry, it's not anything.
- 18:44Speaker 1: It's not you, I know, but thank you.
- 18:46Speaker 2: You're very welcome.
- 18:46Speaker 1: It's hard for me to like.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Compliments are hard for a lot of people. But somebody
- 18:52Speaker 3: said something to me once they hit it something to
- 18:54Speaker 3: me and I was like, no, whatever, and they're like,
- 18:57Speaker 3: you know what, that's.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Actually really fucked up, Like take the compliment. Take because
- 19:01Speaker 2: now you're.
- 19:01Speaker 3: Making me feel bad right, No, no, no, no, that that's
- 19:04Speaker 3: what you're doing. But like, yeah, so when somebody gives
- 19:07Speaker 3: you a compliment, just say thank you.
- 19:10Speaker 2: I appreciate that.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Okay, let's take a break so I can not be
- 19:14Speaker 1: so read. Did you see the thing that Megan McCain
- 19:20Speaker 1: posted where she's now some of the movies that cost
- 19:23Speaker 1: less than Christy Nolans two hundred twenty million dollars ad
- 19:26Speaker 1: campaign budget or Appenheimer Barbie talk on that?
- 19:31Speaker 2: Miss my father said my father.
- 19:33Speaker 1: I can't keep Megan McCain's where she's going with anything?
- 19:39Speaker 1: Where do you fall on the political spectrum, Megah McCain,
- 19:42Speaker 1: because now she's what is she talking about Christine Noman?
- 19:45Speaker 1: How expensive the plane was? I mean sure, I mean sure, yeah,
- 19:49Speaker 1: I guess that is truetives are like budget hawks. Yeah.
- 19:52Speaker 2: And but also I think you know she loves to
- 19:56Speaker 2: talk about her father. My father is my father. That
- 19:58Speaker 2: it's actually really frustrating.
- 20:00Speaker 3: The apartment feels like we you just let that man
- 20:03Speaker 3: rest in peace, Please stop conjuring him up again.
- 20:05Speaker 1: If I die, you my permission to go on the
- 20:07Speaker 1: book circuit just with you know, weekend at Bernie's mean,
- 20:10Speaker 1: whatever you have to do done, dancing around with me
- 20:13Speaker 1: on strings.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Done. I got you.
- 20:15Speaker 1: You've got my express permission here on the show to
- 20:17Speaker 1: go for it. You sell those tickets, I will.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Sell those tickets.
- 20:21Speaker 3: But I think that her father is one of sort
- 20:24Speaker 3: of the last Republicans that we had been used to,
- 20:28Speaker 3: that he was not like this new kind of Republican.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Right, Yes, he.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Would sort of like I remember, he would just surprise
- 20:35Speaker 1: people with his votes when he was the Spring the
- 20:37Speaker 1: swing vote were like, oh yep, exactly different.
- 20:41Speaker 3: Really, I think somebody who, whether they agreed with him
- 20:44Speaker 3: or not, had a certain standard of.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Ethics that he subscribed to.
- 20:48Speaker 1: And because whether you agree with those ethics or not.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Correct right, they were there. He had them.
- 20:54Speaker 3: He had them. But like you said, though, I think
- 20:58Speaker 3: that he was Republicans tended to be fiscally responsible.
- 21:02Speaker 2: This is this is not this is the actual opposite.
- 21:06Speaker 1: What were the movies, CJ. It was Oppenheimer, Oppenheimer, Barbie,
- 21:12Speaker 1: Less than the Plane, Top Gun, Maverick, Dune, and The
- 21:17Speaker 1: Batman Girl Bye. She will be in prison at some point.
- 21:20Speaker 2: I certainly hope, so, I certainly hope.
- 21:22Speaker 1: So ready for the trial of it's going to be.
- 21:27Speaker 3: And he's and like I said, like he's going to
- 21:30Speaker 3: throw these people under the bus.
- 21:33Speaker 2: I mean he already to.
- 21:34Speaker 1: You from of the undercarriage of fifteen. Truly, that's what's
- 21:39Speaker 1: going to happen, because I mean, how many scaramouchies did
- 21:42Speaker 1: she last? What was that thirty seven thirty seven point
- 21:45Speaker 1: two scaramouchie she lasted?
- 21:47Speaker 3: That's actually I love that scaramuchi is a measurement, measurement
- 21:52Speaker 3: of time. I'm going to be about three scarmouchies late,
- 21:55Speaker 3: like I'm.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Running the marathon, and how many scaramucies, So insider said.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Trump was angry when Christino revealed in testimony that Trump
- 22:06Speaker 1: knew about the two hundred and twenty million dollars for
- 22:08Speaker 1: ad campaigns. And this was so how stupid. I'm actually
- 22:12Speaker 1: insulted that she and her friends thought that we were
- 22:15Speaker 1: stupid enough that we wouldn't find that her friend created
- 22:18Speaker 1: an ad company nine days before they no bid contract
- 22:23Speaker 1: was awarded, two said ad company, Yeah to a friend
- 22:26Speaker 1: that was so easily traceable back to Christy. The fucking
- 22:30Speaker 1: this frizzle on the magic school bus could have found
- 22:32Speaker 1: that shit, Like, there is no way that anyone was
- 22:35Speaker 1: going to sneak that in there were no shell companies,
- 22:38Speaker 1: there were no Panama papers.
- 22:39Speaker 3: This wasn't But I think that this is exactly what
- 22:42Speaker 3: they do, right. They really think that the American people
- 22:45Speaker 3: are stupid. I love the uneducated, like they keep on
- 22:48Speaker 3: and that's.
- 22:49Speaker 4: What it is.
- 22:49Speaker 2: And the other thing that I find so fucking galling
- 22:53Speaker 2: is that they all think that they're the ones, They're
- 22:58Speaker 2: the clever ones, They're going to be the ones who
- 23:00Speaker 2: get away with it. It's like the senator.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Who thinks that he's not going to get caught propositioning
- 23:06Speaker 3: somebody in a bathroom, right.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Like Junior the day after the Iran war bought all
- 23:11Speaker 1: this stock in a drone company. Like, come, you have
- 23:15Speaker 1: the same last name as the president. It's yourn It's
- 23:18Speaker 1: the same name.
- 23:19Speaker 2: I hate the run n. This is what I'm saying.
- 23:22Speaker 2: It's like, it's like not even it's not even clever,
- 23:26Speaker 2: just sipping.
- 23:27Speaker 1: On dumb bitch juice, like especially squeeze zips. And then
- 23:33Speaker 1: the Epstein files are still in the news.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Yep, they are because I'm.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Keeping them there. Yeah, Pam Bondi, our friend Robert Garcia,
- 23:40Speaker 1: friend of the friend of the pod, end of the
- 23:42Speaker 1: pod just Subpoena, Pambondi, and will continue to fight for survivors,
- 23:46Speaker 1: which we love to see at EVA. Yes, especially Subpoena
- 23:50Speaker 1: and pam Bondi.
- 23:54Speaker 2: The same woman.
- 23:55Speaker 1: These are the things that keep me going, so like
- 23:56Speaker 1: keep up, you're so tired. But these entered, these things
- 24:00Speaker 1: that I hear about that energizement, now.
- 24:02Speaker 2: I hear you.
- 24:03Speaker 3: But this is the same woman who there were some
- 24:06Speaker 3: Epstein survivors sitting in back of her and when she
- 24:10Speaker 3: was being when she was testifying, and they're like, will
- 24:12Speaker 3: you turn around and look at these women? And she
- 24:17Speaker 3: absolutely refused. She pretended to take notes and stuff. Like
- 24:20Speaker 3: I said, the cruelty and the stupidity is like overwhelming.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Her paper is just like a doodle. It's just like
- 24:25Speaker 1: a she's just writing her name. I remember the ex
- 24:29Speaker 1: the s that we used to do in the nineties,
- 24:31Speaker 1: like the three lines three lines, correct, everybody did that.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it's that sort of thing.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah it is.
- 24:39Speaker 2: I would love to see her in orange jumpsuit too.
- 24:41Speaker 1: It's truly become like Hollywood East is DC. It's really
- 24:45Speaker 1: become just like an entertainment movie making machine.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Yeah, it's so it's so ridiculous.
- 24:50Speaker 1: I think the internet when we were all dunky on
- 24:52Speaker 1: Christino last week when she got she got gone, that
- 24:57Speaker 1: was some of the most beautiful mimography I've really seen
- 24:59Speaker 1: in a long time.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Not mimography.
- 25:05Speaker 1: We got to bring back the National Endowment of the
- 25:07Speaker 1: Arts to support the mimography that I saw last week
- 25:10Speaker 1: on the internet, because that was just beautiful. Stuff's gets work.
- 25:13Speaker 2: It was it was couldn't happen to a nicer person,
- 25:16Speaker 2: that bitch.
- 25:17Speaker 1: That is a cautionary tale tell about fillers, Christine home.
- 25:20Speaker 1: That's the other thing I want to say, be careful,
- 25:23Speaker 1: put down the pump because christineam how old does she
- 25:26Speaker 1: She's got to be No, no, early forties, thirties is
- 25:32Speaker 1: my age?
- 25:32Speaker 2: Yeah she's fifty four?
- 25:34Speaker 4: Wow?
- 25:34Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, yeah. Maybe it's not a cautionary talent pillars.
- 25:38Speaker 2: No, it is. It is could look again, and it's
- 25:43Speaker 2: forget how we feel about her. But it's sort of again.
- 25:46Speaker 3: It's like this idea of when you do a medical
- 25:49Speaker 3: intervention on your face. You don't know how your face
- 25:53Speaker 3: is going to what you don't know, you don't know
- 25:55Speaker 3: how your face is going to react, like like.
- 25:57Speaker 1: A medical intervention, Like it's a stint.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Well, what I mean, like people are doing. That's what
- 26:01Speaker 2: they're doing, right, like these sort of like cosmetic interventions,
- 26:04Speaker 2: right when.
- 26:05Speaker 1: You like interrupt what the Lord was working with and
- 26:08Speaker 1: then with doctoring.
- 26:10Speaker 3: And listen, I completely understand the desire. Like you look
- 26:14Speaker 3: at your face and you're.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Just like, I wonder if I just yeah, yeah, a little.
- 26:19Speaker 3: But the problem is that you don't know how your
- 26:22Speaker 3: face is going to react, And isn't it better?
- 26:25Speaker 2: I don't know. I'm still thinking about it. Isn't it
- 26:27Speaker 2: better to just sort of age and look like yourself
- 26:31Speaker 2: than to sort of eight And now her face is
- 26:33Speaker 2: like a roadmap. It's like all like no, but but
- 26:37Speaker 2: it's not. I'm not even trying to be mean, like
- 26:41Speaker 2: I'm just saying it's it's like Caroline what's her name
- 26:45Speaker 2: with her lip filler. The injection is that wouldn't you
- 26:51Speaker 2: be better to have it was like slighterless.
- 26:53Speaker 1: It was like the cracker barrel to connect the dots
- 26:55Speaker 1: on the kid's menu. Yeah, remember that very bad. That's
- 26:59Speaker 1: why it only change your hair. I'm coming in with
- 27:02Speaker 1: an eighteen and chum in her bundle next week to
- 27:04Speaker 1: the pod, okay, and I'm going to be transformed. I'm
- 27:07Speaker 1: going to be a different person, are you really?
- 27:11Speaker 2: Although I do.
- 27:12Speaker 1: We talked about if I went to Turkey. I'm just
- 27:14Speaker 1: got like a full head a hair. I don't even
- 27:16Speaker 1: know came back to ginger.
- 27:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't even know.
- 27:19Speaker 3: If I'd be able to look at you right in
- 27:20Speaker 3: the eye anymore, you would look so different.
- 27:24Speaker 1: You don't know this about Melissa. She does that with
- 27:26Speaker 1: anyone with hair. She won't look them in the eye.
- 27:30Speaker 2: That's actually like my problem.
- 27:31Speaker 3: When somebody in front of me like does something to
- 27:34Speaker 3: their face, and I'm always.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Like like, I'm like, do I look? Do I not look?
- 27:40Speaker 2: My dad?
- 27:41Speaker 4: You?
- 27:41Speaker 1: And I yeah, my dad the.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Biggest yenta in the world. I would see somebody and
- 27:47Speaker 2: say something but like but like look at me and
- 27:52Speaker 2: be like missa, look look look look like good was good,
- 27:57Speaker 2: And I'm.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Like, shut up. Yeah klicklicklick click clicklickicklick.
- 28:04Speaker 2: But that's what happens when somebody's got something distracting on them.
- 28:07Speaker 1: You can't keep it you you can read your poker face.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Not for that. I don't because I'm just like and
- 28:17Speaker 2: then I do this thing where I feel like, Okay,
- 28:19Speaker 2: so I'm going to look at them for a beat
- 28:20Speaker 2: of two and then I'm gonna look.
- 28:23Speaker 1: The rhythm method because not counting, Oh my god, not
- 28:27Speaker 1: the rhythm method, Melissa.
- 28:29Speaker 2: And we all know the rhythm doesn't work.
- 28:31Speaker 1: It doesn't work because people are like, why is the
- 28:33Speaker 1: most accounting to herself, like I just got my.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Because I feel like I have to like try and
- 28:41Speaker 2: balance to like the normal eye contact with the not
- 28:45Speaker 2: speaking of mimography.
- 28:46Speaker 1: I saw Chris Chris Jenner's facelift and seeing this, someone
- 28:51Speaker 1: put a meme out there that said they stepped on
- 28:54Speaker 1: her back and yanked when they told her that they
- 28:57Speaker 1: did her facelift, because she really does and someone to
- 29:00Speaker 1: decider to side. It was like fifty five and fifty six,
- 29:02Speaker 1: and she looks incredible.
- 29:04Speaker 2: She looks so good.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Kathy Griffin talked about how that doctor, she wouldn't say
- 29:11Speaker 1: the name, but it's a million million dollars now for
- 29:13Speaker 1: that facelift. Because she looks so good, everyone is going
- 29:16Speaker 1: to her.
- 29:17Speaker 2: But here's the problem. Chris Jenner looks good. Who's to
- 29:23Speaker 2: say that I'm going to look good if I had this?
- 29:25Speaker 2: This what I'm saying, you don't know what your face
- 29:27Speaker 2: is going What your personal face is going to do
- 29:30Speaker 2: it right.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Did you ever do a divine corpse in art class? No,
- 29:33Speaker 1: it is okay. You fold a piece of paper up
- 29:35Speaker 1: and each person draws a little part, and then.
- 29:37Speaker 2: You where did you go to school?
- 29:39Speaker 1: I went to I went to unaccredited boat. That sank.
- 29:43Speaker 1: I've never heard of it. Never heard of this? Yes, okay,
- 29:46Speaker 1: we don't need to go into my education. Wait, what
- 29:48Speaker 1: is it called a divine corpse? You basically fold up
- 29:52Speaker 1: a piece of paper and pass it around the room.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Divine corpse is coming up as a Christian exquisite corpse?
- 29:59Speaker 2: You said, a vine corp.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Okay, very similar synonym for sure. But like, I'll stop
- 30:04Speaker 1: the thesaurus.
- 30:04Speaker 2: But when I googled the vine corps, some mouse came up.
- 30:09Speaker 2: So wait, what is it.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Called exquisite cork? Inquisite corps? Yeah? What were we talking about?
- 30:16Speaker 1: Oh we were talking about plastic surgery. Oh yeah, the surge.
- 30:20Speaker 1: There was something plastic surge around my feet as well.
- 30:23Speaker 1: The ear hair removal with wack Turkish. The Turkish ear
- 30:28Speaker 1: hair is yeah, that's so satisfying to me. It is
- 30:32Speaker 1: because it looks like it really fucking hurts. I'm sure
- 30:35Speaker 1: that you guys are always.
- 30:36Speaker 2: Like, well, anytime you put hot wax on your skin
- 30:40Speaker 2: and you yank the hair out.
- 30:43Speaker 1: It's gonna hurt.
- 30:44Speaker 3: Right, that's gonna hurt. I get waxed every four weeks.
- 30:47Speaker 3: I've been doing it forever. It's still fucking hurts. You
- 30:49Speaker 3: want your eyebrows, No, I thread my eyebrows. Is that
- 30:52Speaker 3: that's very painful. It's very painful, and it's different from plucking.
- 30:55Speaker 1: How I don't know we're going to raise that and
- 31:00Speaker 1: my back? Was there sexual chemistry energy from that r
- 31:05Speaker 1: f K video that you saw. Were you feeling like
- 31:08Speaker 1: I was?
- 31:08Speaker 2: I was so overwhelmed with disgust, so there was no. Yeah,
- 31:13Speaker 2: it's just you feel like something really growth, like I've
- 31:18Speaker 2: never felt.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Dryer in my life. It really brought you back to
- 31:24Speaker 1: your sex side. Class from the nun's teaching you.
- 31:27Speaker 2: My sister terrase sister.
- 31:31Speaker 1: I hate that.
- 31:32Speaker 2: I know remember that so clearly.
- 31:34Speaker 1: I would remember if I were taught from non, I
- 31:37Speaker 1: would remember.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Typing teachers was sister Nancy and we hated her.
- 31:40Speaker 1: And Nancy Nancy did.
- 31:43Speaker 2: I say funny, Sister Nancy.
- 31:50Speaker 5: We used to car sister shift bitch, because when you're typing,
- 31:56Speaker 5: shift so when you yeah, she was a horrible.
- 32:02Speaker 1: You know how to type, right though? You know what
- 32:05Speaker 1: type in our guests name on your work computer.
- 32:07Speaker 2: And see what comes up. I won't.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Our guest today is a prolific gay porn star Boomer Banks.
- 32:16Speaker 1: I'm so excited, really fun. I met him at a
- 32:19Speaker 1: party a couple of weeks ago. We had a party
- 32:21Speaker 1: at Verse and it was really fun and he came
- 32:23Speaker 1: and he's a DJ. Now all right, okay, so shift bitch,
- 32:31Speaker 1: welcome back to brief Recess. I'm Michael Foot. Today we
- 32:33Speaker 1: have the extraordinary prolific household name, famous Catholic pastor Boomer Banks,
- 32:43Speaker 1: also known.
- 32:46Speaker 4: Aren't we All?
- 32:46Speaker 1: Also known as an extraordinary adult performer, entrepreneur, entertainer, DJ.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Anything else, comma anything else?
- 32:54Speaker 4: You I'm to add I could do a somersault.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, we love that and some of the adult videos.
- 33:02Speaker 1: That's a good opener. Yeah, just I mean.
- 33:05Speaker 4: I'm just I think that would hurt.
- 33:08Speaker 1: That's what would That's what would hurt. That's what that's
- 33:12Speaker 1: what would hurt. And that's all you need to know.
- 33:14Speaker 4: That's all you need to know.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Well, thank you so much for joining us. I thought
- 33:16Speaker 1: would be fun to have you on. I want to
- 33:18Speaker 1: talk about the adult entertainment industry, your experiences in it,
- 33:22Speaker 1: your life is just fascinating and it's.
- 33:24Speaker 4: It's a complete different like from what you guys usually
- 33:27Speaker 4: have on here. No, we have everyone well everyone, yes,
- 33:30Speaker 4: but yes, yes.
- 33:31Speaker 1: This is our first time really diving into this. But
- 33:34Speaker 1: I think it's so interesting because I think the adult
- 33:37Speaker 1: entertainment industry is opaque. A lot of people don't know
- 33:40Speaker 1: what happens behind the scenes. They don't know that these
- 33:42Speaker 1: are paid performers, these are contracts, are studios. Watch it.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Everybody watches, no matter what they say.
- 33:52Speaker 4: And also they seem to think that we are healthcare professionals.
- 33:57Speaker 4: Really they ask the most craziest questions. If someone becomes
- 34:03Speaker 4: HIV positive, they expect me to know something, which I
- 34:06Speaker 4: do and which is crazy. So to further that, I
- 34:10Speaker 4: did become well educated sure with my sexual health because
- 34:13Speaker 4: people would come and I didn't want people of color
- 34:17Speaker 4: not to have I won't ever give anybody I am
- 34:20Speaker 4: not a healthcare professional. I will let them know, hey,
- 34:24Speaker 4: this is what I know, but you should ask your
- 34:26Speaker 4: and a lot of times in rural like Ohio, there
- 34:32Speaker 4: is no queer doctor for them to go to so
- 34:35Speaker 4: you know, I give them some sort of guidance and
- 34:38Speaker 4: that's all I could do. But it's very interesting how
- 34:42Speaker 4: much they think we know they want to tell us things.
- 34:46Speaker 1: That's interesting because like that is not at all what
- 34:49Speaker 1: I would think, like if I were.
- 34:51Speaker 4: Of us grew up very okay with our sexuality, and well,
- 34:56Speaker 4: I don't know about a lot of us, but there's
- 34:59Speaker 4: a lot of people that are okay with sexuality and
- 35:02Speaker 4: they don't need to center themselves in that sexual arena
- 35:08Speaker 4: and be like, oh they know yes, yeah.
- 35:10Speaker 3: Do you think it's because people have watched you that
- 35:14Speaker 3: they feel like they know you and therefore feel comfortable
- 35:17Speaker 3: sharing something with you?
- 35:19Speaker 4: Yeah, everybody thinks they know me, Sure they do.
- 35:22Speaker 3: I mean I think I think that people often think
- 35:26Speaker 3: that they know famous people like because so if you
- 35:31Speaker 3: see a news anchor, that person comes into your house
- 35:33Speaker 3: every day, your favorite your favorite television stars, so if
- 35:37Speaker 3: they're watching your movies, then they will feel like they
- 35:41Speaker 3: know you.
- 35:41Speaker 4: And I have an interesting relationship with that word famous
- 35:44Speaker 4: and celebrity. I always talk to my therapists about it,
- 35:47Speaker 4: and it does even talk about right now, it makes
- 35:49Speaker 4: me uncomfortable. I get that at this like ginormous level,
- 35:54Speaker 4: like I am known, and it's I mean a lot
- 35:58Speaker 4: of times it's very clear. One of the funniest things
- 36:01Speaker 4: you I'll be at airport and there'll be a man
- 36:04Speaker 4: like pushing a baby car with his wife and he
- 36:07Speaker 4: gets flush and you're like, oh.
- 36:10Speaker 1: That man, watch why you so read sir, sir.
- 36:16Speaker 4: And and I'll smile and they'll just like not know,
- 36:22Speaker 4: but yes it is. It is very interesting. But it's
- 36:26Speaker 4: also interesting in the way that like a lot of
- 36:27Speaker 4: people like do know, but they don't want to admit
- 36:30Speaker 4: that they know, right.
- 36:32Speaker 1: They'll pretend like they don't know you or they've never
- 36:34Speaker 1: seen your.
- 36:34Speaker 4: Well that's more of a of a of a gay
- 36:38Speaker 4: thing for these gays and be like, oh, what's your name?
- 36:41Speaker 1: That's not because you're in They do that to me too,
- 36:44Speaker 1: and then and then they I'll be like, oh, already
- 36:48Speaker 1: following me there in your DM already damn messages.
- 36:52Speaker 6: Yeah, with gay people saying pictures, yeah, you could see
- 36:56Speaker 6: their religion.
- 36:59Speaker 1: Our dams are probab a little different. But sometimes people
- 37:05Speaker 1: will be speaking.
- 37:06Speaker 4: Of d ms really quickly. So I shared the other
- 37:09Speaker 4: day that I was like, I was like seasonal depression
- 37:12Speaker 4: is real.
- 37:13Speaker 1: And it was it that it wasn't lind Gram, Oh
- 37:17Speaker 1: my god, please.
- 37:19Speaker 4: No and so and then but then I posted a
- 37:23Speaker 4: picture of me and my dog and I was like, oh,
- 37:24Speaker 4: this is my care for seasonal depression. And I just
- 37:26Speaker 4: kept getting all these like gaping whole.
- 37:29Speaker 6: Pictures and I'm like, oh, didn't carry your seasonal depression.
- 37:35Speaker 4: But it's like I just was being vulnerable. But I
- 37:39Speaker 4: was like this is what I and I posted. I
- 37:40Speaker 4: was like, I guess this is what I signed night
- 37:42Speaker 4: for dot dot dot, you know, but I literally just
- 37:47Speaker 4: posted some guys like do you want to see the
- 37:49Speaker 4: video of me? I just put a piece of soap
- 37:52Speaker 4: up my butt, And I was like, what are we doing?
- 37:59Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 38:00Speaker 4: Of course I hope it was an Irish spring. I
- 38:02Speaker 4: would think that would like burn, it would.
- 38:04Speaker 2: Burn, it would happen Irish bring instant.
- 38:08Speaker 4: Oh my god, soap scum from Irish string.
- 38:11Speaker 1: I just remember in college when I would hook up
- 38:13Speaker 1: with the frack Eye, the whole bathroom would smell like
- 38:16Speaker 1: that Irish sprain axe bodies right.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Well, also Irish spring layered with X.
- 38:22Speaker 4: Bodies, right Yeah, It's like it's like a you can
- 38:25Speaker 4: still smell their musk because they don't really clean themselves properly.
- 38:31Speaker 1: It's always those used up boxer shorts that are crunchy, crunchy, crunchy.
- 38:39Speaker 4: You're like, what is this not moving?
- 38:42Speaker 1: Like fabric?
- 38:43Speaker 4: Do?
- 38:43Speaker 2: People?
- 38:44Speaker 3: So going back to your DMS and stuff, right, So
- 38:47Speaker 3: what do you think is the desired result?
- 38:50Speaker 2: Are they hoping that you will access to you? Right?
- 38:53Speaker 4: Access?
- 38:54Speaker 1: Okay? Yeah?
- 38:55Speaker 2: And it is.
- 38:57Speaker 4: It is my fault. I allow a lot of it
- 38:59Speaker 4: because I'm very open about my sexual health, about my sobriety,
- 39:09Speaker 4: so many things that I do about how I advocate
- 39:12Speaker 4: for trans and queer because I identify as queer because to me,
- 39:18Speaker 4: what I realized, what actually porn helped me realize, is
- 39:21Speaker 4: that I don't really identified with the world we're gay
- 39:25Speaker 4: because gay to me is gay white males, right, and
- 39:29Speaker 4: it's become this whole thing like on on Twitter there's
- 39:34Speaker 4: l g B or they don't they don't put the T.
- 39:38Speaker 1: Or anything else they know.
- 39:42Speaker 4: And I have done scenes with trans men and they
- 39:46Speaker 4: will they're like, you're straight, You're doing straight porn with women,
- 39:50Speaker 4: and I'm like, that is a man.
- 39:52Speaker 1: Also, it's no near fucking business to tell me what
- 39:54Speaker 1: I am.
- 39:55Speaker 2: Right, yes.
- 39:55Speaker 4: I mean today someone puts it on the scene that
- 39:58Speaker 4: I did with the transman and they're like, girl, and
- 40:01Speaker 4: I'm like, what are you doing?
- 40:03Speaker 1: People in comments are wicked and wild. I can't.
- 40:05Speaker 4: Oh, that's not even I mean, that's I feel bad
- 40:08Speaker 4: for my trans brothers and sisters. Yeah, and I just
- 40:12Speaker 4: block now. I don't even engage no more. But I mean,
- 40:15Speaker 4: I you know, I'm very open about my shabby status
- 40:17Speaker 4: as well, and people will tell me to die of AIDS. Sure,
- 40:22Speaker 4: they just flat out dibates, and it's almost like because
- 40:24Speaker 4: I don't respond to them the way they want me to, Sean.
- 40:27Speaker 1: And now with like the Internet, it's almost like if
- 40:29Speaker 1: you want to engage with an audience, or you want
- 40:32Speaker 1: to be an accessible public figure, who do you want
- 40:35Speaker 1: people to be able to come and ask you a question?
- 40:37Speaker 1: Or you want to be supportive of your trans siblings
- 40:40Speaker 1: in the queer community, it's almost like the cost of
- 40:43Speaker 1: doing business nowadays that you have to be willing to
- 40:46Speaker 1: see that.
- 40:46Speaker 2: People are so emboldened too, like, well they feel safe,
- 40:50Speaker 2: don't they write there behind and they feel like they
- 40:52Speaker 2: could see.
- 40:53Speaker 4: And there's someone in the White House that is allowing them,
- 40:58Speaker 4: you know, what I mean, it's a yeah. So now
- 41:01Speaker 4: people are showing them are asses people in my in
- 41:05Speaker 4: my well. And so to further, I left the proper
- 41:10Speaker 4: adult industry three years ago. I didn't make a big announcement.
- 41:14Speaker 4: I think it's weird when people are like, I'm quitting porn. Cool, great,
- 41:19Speaker 4: good for you. When were you doing it?
- 41:23Speaker 1: Sorry, we didn't know you started.
- 41:27Speaker 2: Before you.
- 41:27Speaker 4: It was a good over a decade, like a solid decade.
- 41:31Speaker 4: And they just last not this January, but the January
- 41:35Speaker 4: before that. They gave me Hall of Fame award and
- 41:38Speaker 4: I'm only the second person of color to ever win
- 41:40Speaker 4: that award. And there's so many beautiful people of color.
- 41:45Speaker 2: And is there a lot of racism in the porn industry?
- 41:51Speaker 4: So raisin ism to me, I equate hate. Yes, there's
- 41:55Speaker 4: a lot of prejudice. Okay, there's a lot of instilled, uh,
- 42:01Speaker 4: you know, prejudice. They think that because this is making
- 42:06Speaker 4: money and it's just a bunch of Caucasians. Like when
- 42:09Speaker 4: I started at the studio that I started at, they
- 42:13Speaker 4: asked me to be exclusive. Right after my first scene.
- 42:16Speaker 4: They're like the president call and I thought it was
- 42:18Speaker 4: because I'm an next attic and every time someone calls
- 42:21Speaker 4: that's higher than me, I think I'm in trouble. And
- 42:23Speaker 4: I was like, oh my god, what did I do already?
- 42:25Speaker 4: And they offered me exclusive contract to be exclusive for
- 42:28Speaker 4: this company. It's one of the biggest gay porn companies.
- 42:31Speaker 4: And I was like what and they're they're basically calling
- 42:35Speaker 4: me a really good whore, like they're like, you're really
- 42:37Speaker 4: good at graduation. We should give you more money.
- 42:40Speaker 1: And is that and it's and it's unusual to get
- 42:42Speaker 1: it's very unusual.
- 42:43Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean I I it was my
- 42:45Speaker 4: first scene and I did it on my thirty third.
- 42:47Speaker 4: It was I was thirty three years old that day
- 42:49Speaker 4: that I did that first scene. My Jesus year. Why
- 42:53Speaker 4: my Jesus year I did porn?
- 42:55Speaker 1: What was that? What was that? Why were they seeking
- 42:59Speaker 1: you out like that?
- 43:00Speaker 4: So I just I've always been very comfortable with my sexuality,
- 43:05Speaker 4: and it helped that I was doing a scene with
- 43:07Speaker 4: someone from New York that I had known before. Maybe
- 43:11Speaker 4: I don't know. I just like even the director who
- 43:13Speaker 4: I call my porn mom, Steve Cruz, he was just like,
- 43:17Speaker 4: you're really good at this. And I was like, how
- 43:20Speaker 4: are you good at this? But it's not what you
- 43:24Speaker 4: guys think. It's not like OnlyFans now has revolutionized everything,
- 43:28Speaker 4: like you could just like film and that's more genuine, right,
- 43:33Speaker 4: I guess, than what was present, because like, literally they
- 43:38Speaker 4: have a checklist.
- 43:39Speaker 2: I was going to ask you, there's a checklist.
- 43:41Speaker 4: They're like, we're going to do oral, but then we're
- 43:43Speaker 4: going to jump and do this, and then we're going
- 43:44Speaker 4: to go back to this. It's not in chronological order
- 43:47Speaker 4: all the time. So it's not like we're just going
- 43:49Speaker 4: to film you guys have you know. So I was
- 43:54Speaker 4: not ready for that, but I was, I guess, because
- 43:58Speaker 4: they asked me to be exclusive and I was like,
- 44:00Speaker 4: hold on, we just went on one date, like, but
- 44:04Speaker 4: there was no one like me on their network and
- 44:07Speaker 4: there wasn't. It was just it was just Caucasian men.
- 44:10Speaker 4: And even though they asked me to be exclusive for
- 44:12Speaker 4: Raging Salent, which was the more like alternative brand that
- 44:16Speaker 4: they had at Falcon, I was still browner than everyone else.
- 44:21Speaker 4: And the first year I came in and I had
- 44:24Speaker 4: told them because there was so I also tell this
- 44:27Speaker 4: story that I think actual porn stars like ceased to
- 44:32Speaker 4: exist with supermodels once there was complete success like Twitter
- 44:37Speaker 4: and and and and you know Ted from Ohio can
- 44:41Speaker 4: show his whole and put I'm a porn star because
- 44:44Speaker 4: on Twitter he's showing off.
- 44:46Speaker 2: That's great, Ted, you could have that word.
- 44:48Speaker 4: I am not that. Porn stars to me were like unaccessible,
- 44:53Speaker 4: Like you know, I watched VHS porn, so there was
- 44:57Speaker 4: a big box porn. You don't know what HS is,
- 45:00Speaker 4: funk off seriously, and uh so those guys were porn.
- 45:06Speaker 1: I was.
- 45:07Speaker 4: It was god. I can't even think of names right now,
- 45:09Speaker 4: but one of them, it was very queer and very open.
- 45:13Speaker 4: His name was Francois Got and he's this French guy
- 45:17Speaker 4: and he has this tattoo full head tat like blacked
- 45:22Speaker 4: in and it's like a like a hairline thing, and
- 45:27Speaker 4: he's still beautiful to this day. Very popular. He did fashion.
- 45:32Speaker 1: He was queer, like he was queer. He wasn't gay.
- 45:36Speaker 4: He was very he Sometimes you'd see me out idolize
- 45:40Speaker 4: and that. And I knew that I embraced my femininity.
- 45:44Speaker 4: I knew that I was versatile a lot of things.
- 45:47Speaker 4: But you know, when I started, I was very pigeonholed
- 45:51Speaker 4: into one thing. I was just the top. I was
- 45:54Speaker 4: just this and and I get why. I was like anatomy.
- 46:00Speaker 1: Oh okayt of me.
- 46:04Speaker 4: I was larger than probably anybody, not anybody, but a
- 46:08Speaker 4: lot of people. And what they didn't bargain for was
- 46:12Speaker 4: this a personality, a person like they didn't And when
- 46:17Speaker 4: I told them, like, I know that you guys had
- 46:19Speaker 4: Francois as exclusive before, if you guys do what you
- 46:22Speaker 4: did for him for me, and they're like, oh well, friend,
- 46:25Speaker 4: so I did a lot. I was like, you do you,
- 46:28Speaker 4: I will do me. And literally Paper Magazine, the New Yorker,
- 46:34Speaker 4: Time Out Magazine, t the New York Times, they all
- 46:37Speaker 4: wrote about this porn guy that knew how to could
- 46:40Speaker 4: tour a gown. Because I moved to New York for
- 46:42Speaker 4: fashion and I was in nightlife and like a lot
- 46:45Speaker 4: of things, there was a lot of things happening. And
- 46:47Speaker 4: so my first year I came to Guns of Blazing
- 46:50Speaker 4: and I went Performer of the Year my first year
- 46:55Speaker 4: and it was like it was like, you know the
- 46:59Speaker 4: girl that wins Best Actress her first year and then
- 47:01Speaker 4: you don't see her now, Yes, it's not that you
- 47:03Speaker 4: didn't see me after that. It was just like, oh,
- 47:05Speaker 4: he already won, like and then like they just kept
- 47:08Speaker 4: hiring more white ice right, and I got and I
- 47:11Speaker 4: started speaking up and they didn't like that, and I
- 47:14Speaker 4: became the loud, aggressive person of color. Sure, and for
- 47:18Speaker 4: a while I was okay with that.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Where was your sobriety during this whole journey? Like why was.
- 47:23Speaker 4: Already nine years clean and sober of everything?
- 47:28Speaker 1: Okay when you started?
- 47:29Speaker 4: When I started? So I made this decision as like
- 47:33Speaker 4: I literally called my sponsor and I was like, hey, so,
- 47:36Speaker 4: and he's like, I'm surprised you haven't already done this
- 47:37Speaker 4: and I was like, excuse me, and he literally it
- 47:40Speaker 4: was a straight man at the time. Yeah, I have
- 47:41Speaker 4: a gay sponsor now, but he was a straight man
- 47:44Speaker 4: and he's like, all the guys think you're sexy, and
- 47:48Speaker 4: straight people in recovery are so okay with their like
- 47:51Speaker 4: saying stuff like that about the other dudes. And I
- 47:53Speaker 4: was like, who, what.
- 47:57Speaker 2: Did you This is really interesting to hear, did you
- 48:00Speaker 2: do you have a hard time accepting that is true
- 48:03Speaker 2: that somebody else could look at you and say yes.
- 48:05Speaker 2: Because today Michael and I were talking and I gave
- 48:07Speaker 2: him a compliment and he got squirmy.
- 48:10Speaker 4: I gave him a compliment a thing that we met,
- 48:13Speaker 4: and he gets squirmedy, he gets squirmed me around compliments.
- 48:16Speaker 2: Well, I mean I think I think a lot of
- 48:19Speaker 2: people do. Yeah, so did you were you like? What
- 48:22Speaker 2: is he talking about?
- 48:24Speaker 1: Wow?
- 48:25Speaker 4: Well, the reason I had a problem with the word
- 48:27Speaker 4: sexy because I equated it to being feminine. So that
- 48:31Speaker 4: was my interesting issue with the words okay, But at
- 48:35Speaker 4: that point I was seeking out like the queerness that
- 48:41Speaker 4: I didn't know I wanted and the femininity. And it's
- 48:46Speaker 4: like this for me, Okay, I people see me and
- 48:48Speaker 4: I guess I'm masculine presenting, but I'm very okay in
- 48:52Speaker 4: my skin of who I am. I didn't if you
- 48:56Speaker 4: would have seen me as a kid, I was like
- 48:58Speaker 4: I was. I don't know if I said I was,
- 49:02Speaker 4: I was. I was such a and i've it wasn't
- 49:06Speaker 4: so much that I was. I cared because I wanted
- 49:08Speaker 4: my family to love me and I wanted my friends
- 49:09Speaker 4: to love me. But I actually, looking back, I don't
- 49:12Speaker 4: think I cared because I was so feminine like. And
- 49:17Speaker 4: I grew up with a single mother who was when
- 49:21Speaker 4: she was sober, because she she actually passed away of
- 49:24Speaker 4: alcoholism when I was fourteen, and but she she was
- 49:30Speaker 4: this like when she was sober, she was clamorous. I
- 49:34Speaker 4: remember she used to wear this uh two top black
- 49:40Speaker 4: shimmery jumpsuit with red pumps in a red light when
- 49:44Speaker 4: she had jet black hair, and I was like, that's
- 49:48Speaker 4: my mom.
- 49:49Speaker 2: Yeah it is.
- 49:49Speaker 4: But also she was my mom. She wasn't present ever right, ever, ever, ever,
- 49:56Speaker 4: ever ever ever ever.
- 49:57Speaker 2: Can I ask you after your mom passed away? Who
- 50:00Speaker 2: did you grow up with?
- 50:02Speaker 4: My mom had a brother who was probably the only
- 50:06Speaker 4: family member that loved my mother, like she was the
- 50:09Speaker 4: youngest sister. But they all thought that all she needed
- 50:14Speaker 4: to do was go to she was they were Catholic,
- 50:16Speaker 4: All she needed to do was go to church, and
- 50:18Speaker 4: then she was and she'd be okay, she'd be okay,
- 50:22Speaker 4: but we would go to church and she would be
- 50:24Speaker 4: drinking vodka out of her purse. So I growing up
- 50:28Speaker 4: seeing that, I was like, you guys are crazy, Like
- 50:29Speaker 4: she goes to church and drinks Like it's not working, guys,
- 50:34Speaker 4: So how am I going to get my mom back?
- 50:37Speaker 4: Or how am I going to get a mom?
- 50:38Speaker 1: Period?
- 50:40Speaker 4: So it's it's interesting. So yeah, like I was already
- 50:43Speaker 4: sober and I had made this decision, and I have
- 50:47Speaker 4: these people tell me you're sexy. But also when I
- 50:52Speaker 4: would go on dates before and people would take off
- 50:55Speaker 4: my pants and they'd be like, whoa, what's that? And
- 50:58Speaker 4: I'd be like, what are you talking about? I am
- 51:00Speaker 4: I've never been the person that walks in dick first.
- 51:04Speaker 4: You know, there's people in our you know, gay world
- 51:07Speaker 4: that you already know they have a big day because
- 51:09Speaker 4: they've told everybody they have bigger even before they walked
- 51:11Speaker 4: inside the room. Yeah, And I just was never like that.
- 51:15Speaker 4: So now because of porn, people know, but before that,
- 51:20Speaker 4: it just wasn't. And even now people are always like,
- 51:23Speaker 4: you don't seem to be that kind of.
- 51:26Speaker 1: Like I was gonna ask you, like, what's it like dating?
- 51:29Speaker 1: Like I know your partner now, but when were you single?
- 51:31Speaker 1: When you're like, what was it?
- 51:33Speaker 4: I never was the dater. I was always okay being
- 51:36Speaker 4: by myself. I think once I got sober, and because
- 51:39Speaker 4: I've had such like relapse is not a part of
- 51:42Speaker 4: my story, and it is a part of a lot
- 51:45Speaker 4: of people's story. I don't know why. When I stopped,
- 51:49Speaker 4: it was like if I go back out, I'm going
- 51:52Speaker 4: to die. And survival to me has always been such
- 51:59Speaker 4: like the found of who I am constantly waking up
- 52:03Speaker 4: thinking like how am I going to make it through today? Right?
- 52:06Speaker 4: Has always been a thing, even as I mean, I
- 52:08Speaker 4: remember being five having to cook my own breakfast because
- 52:11Speaker 4: my mother was nowhere to be found, my mother disappearing
- 52:14Speaker 4: for like a month at a time. Sometimes like people
- 52:17Speaker 4: are like, oh, who's going to pay the rent? And
- 52:18Speaker 4: I'm like and seven seven, yeah, like what do you
- 52:22Speaker 4: want me to do?
- 52:23Speaker 1: But I think it's interesting because I oftentimes hear from
- 52:25Speaker 1: people who then have incredible business success. Right, Like if
- 52:29Speaker 1: I think if like the splashy, sexy side of your industry,
- 52:33Speaker 1: if we extract that and just talk about your success
- 52:37Speaker 1: as a business person is really impressive, really like truly,
- 52:41Speaker 1: like you have your own company now. You retired from
- 52:44Speaker 1: the industry on a high note, which and.
- 52:46Speaker 4: I started that because I still was good. That's why
- 52:49Speaker 4: I never said like, I'm not I'm retiring for born,
- 52:51Speaker 4: because I knew that I still was going to dabble. Yeah,
- 52:54Speaker 4: And even in my acceptance speech for the Hall of
- 52:57Speaker 4: Fame Award, I was like, you haven't seen the lasted me? Yeah.
- 52:59Speaker 4: And then Foreskinmafia dot Com came out and it's been
- 53:03Speaker 4: less than a year. It's almost going to be here
- 53:04Speaker 4: actually in May. And it's it's you know, it's a
- 53:09Speaker 4: new company, so but it's it's technically just like my
- 53:13Speaker 4: personal only fans, so that I don't have to go
- 53:16Speaker 4: through only fans so, and it's it's building. It's building,
- 53:19Speaker 4: and people love it. People who subscribe don't have issues.
- 53:24Speaker 4: And it's not just guys, it's my I didn't want
- 53:28Speaker 4: to call it boomerbanks dot com because I wanted to
- 53:30Speaker 4: use that for my music because DJing has been taking
- 53:36Speaker 4: a front seat of everything. And I know we're talking
- 53:40Speaker 4: about porn and it's always going to be interesting to
- 53:43Speaker 4: talk about and I I, I don't mind talking about it.
- 53:47Speaker 4: But music is definitely the love of my life right
- 53:49Speaker 4: now and along with my dog and my partner. Yeah,
- 53:58Speaker 4: but music is so important to me and I didn't
- 54:01Speaker 4: realize how important it was. And it took losing a
- 54:04Speaker 4: friend to addiction to realize how important music was and
- 54:08Speaker 4: how it was very it soothed any sort of it
- 54:13Speaker 4: helped depression.
- 54:15Speaker 2: Yeah, when did you decide that music was going to
- 54:19Speaker 2: take the front seat at what point? Because you tell us.
- 54:23Speaker 4: Three years ago my best friend accidentally overdosed it was
- 54:27Speaker 4: a Fentanel overdose and we used to share music every Friday.
- 54:32Speaker 4: And a very legendary DJ named Nita Abbiance who lives
- 54:38Speaker 4: in New York. They have a DJ collective called the
- 54:43Speaker 4: Carrie Nation and they're huge and the scene here in
- 54:47Speaker 4: New York and I've been really close with them. But
- 54:51Speaker 4: the first time I go go dance, they were DJ,
- 54:54Speaker 4: so I was just talking to them. They're like, you
- 54:56Speaker 4: love music, Like why don't you come to the studio
- 55:00Speaker 4: sit behind me? You stand behind me at the booth
- 55:03Speaker 4: all the time. If you haven't learned something by now,
- 55:05Speaker 4: like what.
- 55:05Speaker 1: Were you doing?
- 55:07Speaker 4: And and I have and it's ever growing, like I
- 55:13Speaker 4: I you can't fake like you can learn all the
- 55:17Speaker 4: knobs and everything and the technical part of everything, but
- 55:21Speaker 4: you can't fake taste when it comes to music. Especially
- 55:24Speaker 4: the queers here in New York City. We're just people
- 55:27Speaker 4: in general with music, like if you're not creating a vibe,
- 55:30Speaker 4: they don't care.
- 55:32Speaker 1: The music is a huge. There's so many everyone every
- 55:36Speaker 1: queen and Bushwick is trying to do their own DJ party.
- 55:41Speaker 1: First Monday Full Moon there's we went to. I went
- 55:46Speaker 1: to one this weekend. I went to come on everybody, okay.
- 55:52Speaker 1: There was happening there the very party, very party, okay.
- 55:55Speaker 1: And I was like, I don't like this. And we
- 55:57Speaker 1: went next door. We went five minutes down the road
- 55:59Speaker 1: to a different want, a different pots and pants circum.
- 56:06Speaker 1: I don't want this. It's a competitive market in New York.
- 56:10Speaker 2: It is.
- 56:10Speaker 4: It's very competitive because there are really good DJs, like
- 56:14Speaker 4: you've broken through.
- 56:15Speaker 1: I mean, I've seen some of your shows, and I've
- 56:18Speaker 1: seen that I still have a lot.
- 56:19Speaker 4: To learn, and and and I knew that it was
- 56:21Speaker 4: going to be a heart cell because I also people
- 56:25Speaker 4: they love to love me when they're talking about porn
- 56:29Speaker 4: or whatever. But it's like that whole thing like you're
- 56:32Speaker 4: not I'm not You're not going to introduce you your
- 56:34Speaker 4: mom to a porn star like some people have. And
- 56:37Speaker 4: they moms love me, but you're.
- 56:42Speaker 3: Also not doing porn when you meet the mom, right,
- 56:44Speaker 3: Like that's like but and and a lot of.
- 56:47Speaker 4: The moms like they're they they're so intrigued that like
- 56:50Speaker 4: there's this multi dimensional human and they're like, oh wow,
- 56:54Speaker 4: that takes off his clothes, but he also can hold
- 56:57Speaker 4: the conversation eloquent. Yes, and he's brown, yeah, and yeah,
- 57:02Speaker 4: all those things can exist at the same time.
- 57:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm trying to think of like the parallels between
- 57:07Speaker 1: like the music industry and the porn industry are very real, Like, right,
- 57:10Speaker 1: we're talking about like creator based content creation, right.
- 57:13Speaker 4: And and also there's so much and the ones that have,
- 57:17Speaker 4: like the porn people that have tried to do music
- 57:21Speaker 4: have failed. And so when I started, they're like, oh
- 57:25Speaker 4: porn another Oh okay, yeah, and I was like, oh yeah,
- 57:31Speaker 4: I'm going to get that. But my mentor net abviance
- 57:36Speaker 4: is like, your name is going to get you in
- 57:38Speaker 4: the door. Sure, your music is going.
- 57:40Speaker 1: To keep you there, right, and it's everything else right, Like,
- 57:42Speaker 1: and it's a business mind, right, Like this is an
- 57:44Speaker 1: industry that you're a part of the music industry. So
- 57:47Speaker 1: being able to apply that sort of business mind, that
- 57:50Speaker 1: entrepreneur spirit, I think that's really interesting. And that's like
- 57:53Speaker 1: such a cool story to sort of follow, right, because.
- 57:56Speaker 4: He took and so when you said bring props, I did,
- 58:01Speaker 4: and I forgot I left it in the in the backpack.
- 58:02Speaker 4: But so what I keep forgetting is that I have
- 58:06Speaker 4: done these pretty major things. So there's this I'm sure
- 58:10Speaker 4: you guys are familiar and I'm sure some of the
- 58:12Speaker 4: guys here familiar with flesh Light. Hm. It's a toy
- 58:16Speaker 4: that you insert yourself into and it's it's mainly women,
- 58:22Speaker 4: and there's a lot of beautiful women. I've met a
- 58:24Speaker 4: lot of them, and a lot of them are amazing,
- 58:25Speaker 4: and I'm really good friends with a lot of them.
- 58:28Speaker 4: And then they created a men's side and it's called
- 58:30Speaker 4: flesh Jack and uh, it's apparently was a very prestigious
- 58:36Speaker 4: thing to have a toy collection with them. Michael I
- 58:40Speaker 4: was like, I'm mister a potato head. I have, yeah,
- 58:47Speaker 4: my butt, I have my penis, and I also have
- 58:49Speaker 4: my lips.
- 58:50Speaker 6: Oh wow, Yeah, that's really big shot.
- 58:54Speaker 4: Shot is my mouth.
- 58:55Speaker 1: It's a triple threat Broadway right now.
- 58:59Speaker 4: So when people tell me to fuck myself, I can't.
- 59:01Speaker 4: Yeah you can, I literally can you can really follow
- 59:04Speaker 4: through it. I can follow you tell me to go
- 59:05Speaker 4: fuck myself all the time. I mean not.
- 59:10Speaker 1: Part of my career hasn't taken off yet.
- 59:15Speaker 4: I mean there's still time.
- 59:16Speaker 1: And I told you bring anything you want to tell you,
- 59:19Speaker 1: bring anything you want to promote.
- 59:21Speaker 4: So but I make money off of that and I've
- 59:23Speaker 4: been so this season on Depression, it was a three
- 59:28Speaker 4: year anniversary, it's birthday. Recently, at the beginning of February,
- 59:32Speaker 4: a lot happens. I'm about to move in with my
- 59:34Speaker 4: partner like so much, and it doesn't make me feel sexy.
- 59:41Speaker 4: And a lot of people don't talk about that, right,
- 59:44Speaker 4: these these content creators don't come on podcasts and talk
- 59:48Speaker 4: about how sometimes they don't feel sexy.
- 59:50Speaker 1: What do you do when you don't feel sexy?
- 59:52Speaker 4: You forgive me? I literally have not posted anything on
- 59:55Speaker 4: my Twitter.
- 59:56Speaker 1: Yeah, because you're just not feeling.
- 59:58Speaker 4: And I'm thinking, and every single every week, I'm like,
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: it's Monday, I'm going to be sexy this name, and
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: then Monday hits and You're like, I have the wake
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: up day, I have to go here, I have a
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: podocast to do today.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: It's the same for people.
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: I'm gonna say, it's you know, I think I'll say
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: this as a woman who's you know, a woman of
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: a certain age.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: There is something about that.
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: And I've been talking about this a lot, like I've
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: been looking at my face and recognizing that I'm getting
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: older and not feeling the way that I think I
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: should feel.
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: Do you know what I'm saying? Skin though, thank you,
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: but you know what I mean.
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: I know what you're saying.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: You know what I mean.
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: People tell me yesterday they're like, your skin is skinny,
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: and I was like, fearce, it looks really good.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: I mean so like, it's not it's it's it's for me.
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: It's honestly, it's the aging. Do you know what I'm saying?
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: And yesterday I not to keep bringing to town, but
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: yesterday I went to a wake of a friend who
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: just passed away. And he was only in his early fifties. Wow,
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: and you start singing your more time think You're like,
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: I'm only like less than ten years away from.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: This, Like can I die?
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: Obviously?
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: But I have so much more, Like my life didn't
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: start until I moved to New York City. I'm so
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: in love with the city, like I have never been
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: more happy in my life. I was born in Mexico,
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: so and I was brought here when I was a.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: Year old, and.
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: Right off the bat in Mexican and you know, more
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: than anybody in Southern California, the races are all divided
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: and they all are prejudiced against each other. The Mexicans
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: hate the Asians, Asians hate the people you know black people,
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: Black people hate Mexicans. Like growing up, it was just
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: this vicious circle and it's society that puts us against
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: each other.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: Yes, you know because the down so white people can ascend.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: I mean, that's that's how colonialism works. Yeah, right, that's
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: how divide and conquer, right, and so it oftentimes.
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: But I wanted, like I literally would like I wanted
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: to be everything else other than who I was. I
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: think that had a lot to do with also me
- 1:02:18Speaker 4: be an addict. But like I would, I think one
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: year I was half black, one year I was all
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: Puerto Rican, like I was never just Mexican because everybody
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: hated Mexicans in southern California. Yeah, you know what I mean, And.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: That self clothing runs deep.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: Sometimes self loathing is a clothing.
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: And it took me into my like doing porn, being
- 1:02:37Speaker 4: in therapy to realize because I remember having a conversation
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: with my therapist about what I thought the standard of
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: beauty was, and I'm describing somebody that looks like him. Sure,
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: what the fuck? Yeah, but that's but you know what
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: the when the world is literally I have half a
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: million followers because of the way that I look.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, but that is the standard.
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: Of beauty was not created for us, right, the standard
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: of beauty. I mean you know, I was a little
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: girl growing up and the standard of beauty was fair faucet,
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: and I can do whatever I want, but I will
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: never look like her, do you know what I'm saying?
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: So like you grow up.
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: I've been watching uh, how to Get Away with Murders
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: it's called and they're constantly blowing out their hair.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: Oh, don't get me started.
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: The hair, the hair, the And then I just saw
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: the episode where it was Scandal and it was Olivia
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: Pope and Forget and they both have their hair like
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: just blown out, and I was like, you guys have
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: beautiful it.
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: Is, but that is and especially if you're thinking about
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: you know, Olivia Pope and whoever, Viola Davis played that
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: they were women in business, right, they were lawyers, and
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: they were in front of people. And so in order
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: to make yourself more I would say palatable, right, you
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: have to do everything that you can do to assimilate
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: as much of.
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: Similarly, and when you do, then you're called the things.
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: And it's just like and.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: The other thing about it is like I said, I
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: can do whatever I want to assimilate at the end
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: of the day, this is a black woman.
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: Well, and people would be like, because these companies would
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: put me to work with other white men, They're like, oh,
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: he only works with white men, and I'm like, well,
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: I am the person of color, right right, I am
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: in this scene as well? Yeah yeah, yeah, Like are
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: we forgetting that I am in this scene?
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: I wonder like, when you were still performing, do you
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: and I still do but not for the companies? Okay, yeah,
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: but do you feel like you were like something to
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: check off?
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: Right? We need like so I made sure.
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: Okay, that was the one thing that I was like,
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: I am not going to be your gardener. I am
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: not going to be this or that. I'm going to
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: be on the cover of those DVDs at the time
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: you don't know where the DVD is off and and
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: I was. I was on many covers. They made movies
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: surrounding me that weren't like just like like I mean
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: like the Gang Member all that, you know what I mean.
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: It's just it was always me, like even when they
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: did they did a movie called foresk and Mafia for me,
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: and I wore like, uh, I'm just Owens and like
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: I was able to dress up like the way I
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: wanted to dress up.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: I heard for and Mafia, and I just think the Sopranos,
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: and I like James Gandelfini.
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: I am the James Gandelfini of Corn.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: You just gave us our episode title.
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: Up to the studio, I was listening to Jennifer Lawrence
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: do the podcast with Amy Poehler. Yeah, and I turned
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: to my partner. I was like, I think I'm the
- 1:05:59Speaker 4: Jennifer Lauren is a horn because like I'm so open
- 1:06:04Speaker 4: and you just say everything everything, like people ask about whatever,
- 1:06:07Speaker 4: and I'm like, yeah, this is what's happening. And she's
- 1:06:11Speaker 4: very that they're like. And then people are always surprised
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: that she's just like herself, like and she'll and she
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: does go like down the street to go get coffee
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: for herself. I mean, I'm not as big as for Lawrence,
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: but like you know, I do things from People are
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: always like, oh, I can't believe you're here, Like.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: Yeah, where am I supposed to be? What other fan
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: interactions can you tell us about.
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: Fan interactions that stand out? I mean just that the
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: funniest ones are like the yeah, that's the that's that's
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: the funniest to me. But I mean, yeah, and and
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: and now people feel like, oh, I love your work,
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: and I'm like, oh, you listen to my music, And
- 1:06:55Speaker 4: then they're like, oh you did music.
- 1:06:58Speaker 6: Where can people listen to me? Just like iund cloud?
- 1:07:01Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, Boomer Banks on SoundCloud. Yeah yeah, So the
- 1:07:04Speaker 6: music is always going to be Boomer Banks.
- 1:07:06Speaker 4: I worked really hard for that name. Sure, yeah, I
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: worked really hard for that.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Name in long career before your music, right, And.
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: But it's yeah, it's so much has happened, and I'm
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: just grateful that relevancy is still a thing. And I
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: want to feel sexy. I'm sure you feel you know,
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: and but.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: You look like thank you.
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: Clothes to me is so much fun, and I don't.
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: I have so much clothes that I need to start
- 1:07:36Speaker 4: wearing my beautiful stuff that I have. And I'm so
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: grateful on moving in with a person who is like
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: a lot more organized than me, so that's going to
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: be very helpful. I have so many beautiful clothes and
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: shoes that I've like bought like it's very helpful. But
- 1:07:52Speaker 4: but of course my kind of sexy and being online
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: is a little more provocative, and I just you know,
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: if anybody out there can be helpful, because these guys,
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: these other contractions, you talk to him about stuff like that,
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: they don't want to talk about feelings. They don't want
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: to talk about you.
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: Know, well it doesn't make good context.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: Well imagine we're in the club and Boomer and I
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: were just having a sit down, heart to heart about
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: our feelings. But that's all people always do.
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: That.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: People will come up to and be like, meanwhile, everyone
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: around this is like, yeah, everyone look.
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: Me and you were having a conversation about something. And
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: literally when we were leaving, my partner is like, hey,
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: it's this guy's birthday and he wants to meet you
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: for his birthday. So it was happening when I met you.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: Always happening.
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: It was happening when I met you, and and people
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: are always really present. I'm okay saying hi because they
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: see the tattoos and they're like, you know.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: How how do you And if it's okay, if you
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: don't have a way to feel sexier, get out of
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: your funk. Because I think I was talking about yeah,
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: that way. I've been talking about.
- 1:09:02Speaker 4: It because the more I talk about it, that gives
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: it gives the power. It takes the power away from
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: whatever it is.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: I think.
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: Yeah, but I get I used to get the word.
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: And I don't like when people tell me that I'm intimidating.
- 1:09:16Speaker 4: I find that very very much a dog by silver,
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: a person of color. Yeah, maybe you're intimidated, which is different.
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's not your problem.
- 1:09:28Speaker 4: It's not my problem, right, But people say that a lot,
- 1:09:32Speaker 4: and it's like, but then when they get to know me,
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: they're like, oh, you're actually nice. Well actually yeah, I
- 1:09:39Speaker 4: mean now I don't know if I want to be nice.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: Sometimes people think that I'm going to like bitch them out,
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: or that I'm like a mean lawyer, or that I'm
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: like or that I'm like too busy to chat with them.
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: Or I've ever met a mean lawyer? I see them
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: on TV.
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: Oh, I've definitely met some. I've worked for some mean lawyers. Yeah,
- 1:09:59Speaker 3: they're so angry. They're angry, they're bitter, they're tired.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: What kind of layers are they? For me?
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: Was litigation?
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: Okay? Anyway? Thank you? Where where come? I'll find you?
- 1:10:11Speaker 6: You can where and they can go to so SoundCloud
- 1:10:15Speaker 6: as boomer Banks, SoundCloud as boomer Banks. Uh. Instagram is
- 1:10:20Speaker 6: always going to be Bacon Lever. It's bacon l v R,
- 1:10:22Speaker 6: which I used. I started literally when Instagram started.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: I was like, what's my name going to be?
- 1:10:29Speaker 4: And I was like, oh, Bacon Lever. But for me,
- 1:10:31Speaker 4: it was like bringing home the bacon. Yeah, that was
- 1:10:35Speaker 4: so hard to explain. Some people was like, you like bacon.
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: I was like, sure, we're showing up to your shows
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: handing you back bacon.
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: I have to throw a so much stuff that people.
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: Are like, oh, I have this.
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: And I don't want to throw it away. I have
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: this cute little piggy bank that someone game and it's
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: his boomer on the side, and I just looked at
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: it and I was like, I don't want to throw
- 1:10:54Speaker 4: that away. People would always bring me bacon stuff bacon
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: to the all the time, or actual bacon.
- 1:11:01Speaker 7: Someone brought me candyed bacon once. Yeah, mine is pile
- 1:11:04Speaker 7: of cash lover at on all platforms. If you want
- 1:11:08Speaker 7: to bring me anything, it's just my venmo venmo at.
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: But yeah, and it's and and I still call it Twitter.
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: Do you guys call it X?
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: I call it Twitter?
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: Who calls it X?
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: I'll go back and forth between Twitter X.
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: I think I call it X if someone's like it's X,
- 1:11:26Speaker 4: Like okay, it's X. Yeah, Twitter, it's boomer Underscore Banks
- 1:11:29Speaker 4: because someone took boomer Banks, Like what.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: Who does that? Cyber squatting?
- 1:11:34Speaker 4: Yeah, well someone had boomer banks dot com forever and
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: I guess they let it go. And my business partner
- 1:11:40Speaker 4: was like, boomemegx is available and I was like, oh,
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: buy it. Yeah, yeah, buy it for me. I want
- 1:11:45Speaker 4: to use it for my music. And that's why we
- 1:11:47Speaker 4: named the website for skinmafia dot com. It's funny, it's cheeky.
- 1:11:53Speaker 4: It's not just people with foreskin. That word is so
- 1:11:56Speaker 4: polarizing though, foreskin is it?
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: I don't know, do you think so? No, it's right.
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: It is a body part in my house. A lot
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: of people don't have that body partner.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: That's right, my house. Calling everything by like the proper term.
- 1:12:12Speaker 4: That was like the role really vachina?
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: Yep, it was vagina. Penis like there was nois.
- 1:12:18Speaker 4: But now penis is like a really like the Gooners
- 1:12:22Speaker 4: they love using that word.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: Just laughed.
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: Community, Yeah, they use the word penis. They use a
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: lot of property and anatomicals are appropriating.
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: You do not really quick lay on.
- 1:12:44Speaker 4: It is this new, not new, It's always been a thing,
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: but now it's bigger and these I think it's his
- 1:12:50Speaker 4: way of doing content without having to interact with someone else.
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: And they can make money, okay, and they'll just go
- 1:12:55Speaker 4: on there and it's this face that they make and
- 1:12:57Speaker 4: they start.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: Truly, it's like people who are like addicted to masturbating, masturbating,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: and so they masturbating, they get close to masturbating and
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: you get that like face yeah, yeah, yeah, and then
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: you stop and then you stop this like highly dramatized.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: But then they talk.
- 1:13:12Speaker 4: They're very verbal, so they talk about their penis, okay.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: And they like over enunciate.
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: That seems like such an.
- 1:13:19Speaker 4: Very interesting way. And I don't want to go there
- 1:13:22Speaker 4: because then I'll sound like I'm gooning on your brief recess.
- 1:13:27Speaker 4: And it's like brief recess to goon.
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: And I'm going to google gooner.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: You're going to go on this.
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: Yeah, a rabbit hole. I'm okay with it.
- 1:13:41Speaker 4: Not the work, not the work, but yeah, and so
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: and then I also have the toys on flesh Shock.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: And you can you can buy the toys. You can
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: buy the toy and that's on forcek and Mafia dot Com.
- 1:13:53Speaker 4: No, the toys are on flesh light dot.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: Com, flesh dot com flash.
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: Light or flesh jack dot com flush Jack.
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: Yeah, your whole anatomy.
- 1:14:02Speaker 4: My whole anatomy is available.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: It's such a weird way to use the word hole.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: I'm sorry, and that's not what I meant. That's what
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: I meant it is. I do want to ask you
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: really quick, what's it like? How do you make them?
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: I'm curious how.
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: The I was literally in the group of last people
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: that used molding, actual molding. Now they do like a
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: three deep and mine is your wier so it's not
- 1:14:24Speaker 4: a three D printer. They literally like use you know
- 1:14:28Speaker 4: that green stuff they put in your mouth for to
- 1:14:30Speaker 4: mold your teeth.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: Yes, they use that.
- 1:14:32Speaker 4: So they put it in a big old thing and
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: you put insert your penis in the like plaster. Yeah,
- 1:14:38Speaker 4: and then mine is literally identical, like there's a side
- 1:14:42Speaker 4: by side and but like the new guys, it looks
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: bigger because it was like they do the little dots,
- 1:14:47Speaker 4: the little I don't know what it's called now the
- 1:14:51Speaker 4: image of their penis.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: Well, it's a great gift. I mean, we have Easter
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: coming up baskets, Mother's Day, Fithers Day. Yeah, you know,
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: Grandpa's retirement party. I mean, you don't know.
- 1:15:06Speaker 4: And this is like, I don't know where was I yesterday?
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: Someone's like, I have your dildo and I was like
- 1:15:12Speaker 4: cool church that church.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: Anyway, Thank you for coming, thank you for joining us,
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: thank you for being here. It was great having you.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: For sure to check out what we're banks on SoundCloud. Yes,
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: and we're looking forward to seeing you on our next segment,
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: Tails from the DMS. No, that's actually the segment. It's
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: gonna be my DMS, not Boomers.
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: We'll get in trouble.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: We're going to jump right into Tales from the DMS.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: I thought it would be fun to answer some of
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: your questions. We actually have some reviews that CJ pulled together. Melissa.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: Do you want to read some of the reviews? I do.
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: Let's see.
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: Okay, this is funny. The Jenny Jones story when we
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: did the Gay Panic Defense, the way I felt my
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: age realizing you had to just gribe nineties talk shows
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: to people to set up a Jenny Jones story. It
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: really was a time.
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: I was there.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: It was a time capsule. I lived it. I lived
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: I lived.
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: No, you didn't. You didn't really live it.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I lived.
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: Were getting milk and cookies?
- 1:16:14Speaker 4: You were.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: I was staying homesick from school to watch Sure and
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: and Plinko.
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: No, I was older in high school. Yeah, let's see.
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: Oh this is actually really funny. The Art Theft episode.
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: What a treat to listen to this show after a
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: steady nightmarish diet of horrific news. I feel almost clean now.
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: Thank that good clean feeling. That good clean, that's squeaky
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: clean feeling.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: Irish spring feeling.
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: That is the worst fucking soap it runny. When I
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: first started CRISP.
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: When I first started dating Andre, the first night I
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: spent the night at his place and I got into
- 1:16:56Speaker 3: that shower and I saw irish spring.
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: I was like, I have to help this man.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Oh speaking of help.
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: From the ice abuse episode with Congressman Robert Garcia, we
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: have a comment from Spinella six nine. I'm not going
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: to do it. I have a runway show with Melissa's
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: wardrobe and auction it all off. I wish I could
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: help you. I have the same problem. I love thrifting. Yeah,
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: hate throwing away useful things that have a life left
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: feel like the quantity of stuff I have in my
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: life is in direct conflict with my.
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: Face about on the other hand, is a real bitch
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: and could help you clean out that store.
- 1:17:28Speaker 5: I didn't know it.
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: I am. I have to tell you that I think
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: that I am afraid to like open my closet.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: But what I really would like might following you and
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: you might suffocate to death.
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: My mother, my mother will say if I don't call her,
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: she'll say, you didn't call me. I'm like, I know, Mom.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: She's like, you didn't call me. You never know. The
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: refrigerator could have fell on me. And I'm like, and
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: also where my parents refrigerator is in the kitchen. There's
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: no way, there's no way it's going to hit the cabinet.
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: She's like, you don't know.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: I love you. Okay, we've got a quick question. Someone
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: sent in a question. Please send us your questions, call
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: in and leave us a message through my link tree,
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: or write into brief recess at exactly rightmedia dot com.
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: Okay, and don't forget friends. What do I always say, Well,
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: Michael is a lawyer. He's not your lawyer. Get your own.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: I'm that girl everyone's girl. So this person says, do
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: you want to read the.
- 1:18:37Speaker 3: Question federal jury duty tips? I have been summoned for
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: federal jury duty in redacted state. Any tips that the
- 1:18:46Speaker 3: general internet probably doesn't have. It's my first time for
- 1:18:49Speaker 3: any jury duty at all, and being a federal case,
- 1:18:51Speaker 3: it's making me nervous.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: Okay, So this is a little confusing because your jury
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: summons was four or a federal case. That's like, that's
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: happened to me, that's happened to you. Yeah, that's a
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: really really long time ago. But yeah, and they were
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: interesting to federal court. All right. I guess what I
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: want to know before I give you a tip is like,
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: do you want to know how to get out of
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: it or how to like survive it?
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: Like what is what is your why don't we do both?
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: Okay? How to get out of it? I would listen
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: to what kind of case it is, what attorneys are
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: looking for in here, and that's what eer is. The
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: selection process for a jury is someone who is going
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: to have like extreme bias against one of the parties
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: or has and that bias can be from you worked
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: for that company or you worked in an industry that
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: is going to give you too much insight. So when
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: you're in that jury room, you are sharing things that
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: the lawyers don't want you sharing, right.
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: What if whatever. Let's say there was a crime and
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: you had been a victim of that same crime.
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: Oh, biasias, huge prejudice A yeah, So that's also a
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: way that people kind of get out of it. If
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: you want to know, like how to survive federal jury,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: it is It's possible. It's going to be intense and long.
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: It could be really long.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: Because oftentimes if they're getting to a place where you're
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: getting a federal jury summons, you are the case is
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: definitely going to trial. It's not like we're going to
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: play this out like the lawyers have tried everything. This
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: is a serious enough case where it's gotten to federal court.
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: The lawyers and the parties are probably looking for some
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: sort of precedent here, so that's why you're getting that summon.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: So it's going to be a buckle up because it
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: will be like a trap in a long process, but
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: probably a fascinating experience. And remember, some people get a
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: book deal as a juror, so if it was a
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: fierce case that makes headlines, you can always sell that shit.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: You could afterwards, though, don't say anything. Don't.
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: No, you're not allowed to say anything. Yes, actually that's
- 1:20:58Speaker 3: really important. You're not allowed to say anything to anybody
- 1:21:01Speaker 3: during the trial. Afterwards, don't call in until after and
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: tell us all about it. Yeah, afterwards.
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: All right, that was tellus from the DMS. Thank you
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: for joining us this week, Thanks for being here, Thank
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: you for being here. I'll see you in court, not me.
