- 0:29Speaker 2: the whole weekend, the whole weekend until yesterday. I don't
- 0:33Speaker 2: have to thaw out my pipes with a hair dryer so.
- 0:36Speaker 3: That I can take you a shower to come to work.
- 0:38Speaker 4: Where did you unfreeze the pipe? Sat direct water heater outside.
- 0:43Speaker 4: I have a tankless water hater. That was what happened
- 0:46Speaker 4: in my world. How was your weekend not as cold?
- 0:50Speaker 3: I stayed warm. Your pipes didn't burst? No, they did not.
- 0:56Speaker 3: I am.
- 0:57Speaker 5: I did kind of lose my voice. I yelled a
- 0:59Speaker 5: lot over the weekend. What a bunch of stuff game games.
- 1:04Speaker 5: I should have known kids on video games, wrestling?

- 1:58Speaker 6: become a nuisance. They went after my mail man. As
- 2:01Speaker 6: he was approaching crossing the street, the turkey started chasing
- 2:04Speaker 6: after him. I'm not asking as a snobby person to
- 2:08Speaker 6: get rid of these turkeys. I want to see them
- 2:10Speaker 6: thrive in their natural habitat, and I want to see
- 2:13Speaker 6: these children be able.

- 5:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I saw that and I was that actually was.
- 5:15Speaker 2: That has bothered me too because I love her as
- 5:17Speaker 2: Moira Rose.
- 5:19Speaker 3: We don't know what caused her death.
- 5:20Speaker 2: But her organs were on the opposite side of her body.
- 5:23Speaker 2: That's a condition that she was born with. What she
- 5:27Speaker 2: passed away at seventy one years old. People are saying
- 5:29Speaker 2: she had a brief illness. Some of her most iconic
- 5:33Speaker 2: roles that you would know her from is Moira Rose,
- 5:35Speaker 2: Kevin miss McAllister's mom on Home Alone, and she voiced
- 5:39Speaker 2: Sally in the Nightmare Before Christmas.
- 5:40Speaker 3: I didn't realize that. Yeah, anyway, rest in peace, Catherine o'harah.
- 5:45Speaker 3: That's a sad day.
- 5:47Speaker 2: That's three things you need to know more at the
- 5:49Speaker 2: Alabama Show dot com, you were.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Listening to the Alabama Show on.
- 5:54Speaker 3: To man Danielle, good morning.
- 5:56Speaker 2: What's your issue for Ask Alabama?
- 5:59Speaker 7: I saw my boyfriend's locker room talk, and now I
- 6:02Speaker 7: can't look at him the same.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Oh no, that's why we do Ask Alabama.
- 6:06Speaker 2: If you ever have an issue called the show, we
- 6:08Speaker 2: do our best to help. Eight three three five, I one, Bama,
- 6:11Speaker 2: what's going on with your boyfriend and his locker room talk?
- 6:15Speaker 3: What happened?
- 6:16Speaker 7: So I've been dating my boyfriend for about two years.
- 6:19Speaker 7: He's always been grenat. He's never cheated or anything like.
- 6:24Speaker 7: I've never even seen him looking at other girls or anything.
- 6:29Speaker 7: So the other day I saw this text exchange between
- 6:33Speaker 7: him and a friend, and he was talking about how
- 6:36Speaker 7: hot these girls.
- 6:37Speaker 3: In his yoga class were.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 6:40Speaker 7: He was like describing this camel pose and how they
- 6:44Speaker 7: were doing this pose in front of him and how
- 6:46Speaker 7: he can't look away. It was so descriptive, and I'm
- 6:51Speaker 7: just kind of in shocked because the way that he
- 6:53Speaker 7: was talking in his text, they don't even sound like
- 6:56Speaker 7: this person that I know.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Especially if he's like, oh, this girl's doing camel posed
- 7:00Speaker 2: in front of me.
- 7:02Speaker 7: Yeah, And he was describing their bodies and what they
- 7:04Speaker 7: were wearing and how it looked on them.
- 7:06Speaker 3: It.
- 7:08Speaker 7: Yeah, it was like kind of gross.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Did you say anything to him about it?
- 7:11Speaker 7: He said that it was just normal guide talk and
- 7:14Speaker 7: that I don't have anything.
- 7:15Speaker 4: To worry about, and I don't know.
- 7:17Speaker 7: I just I feel disrespected, honestly, and I'm kind of
- 7:20Speaker 7: freaked out as as normal.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Producer, Blake, are you texting other guys? You're in a
- 7:25Speaker 2: relationship right now, you text another.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Guy's about how hot other girls.
- 7:28Speaker 5: Look, not personal ones, but if I see somebody, I'm like, yeah,
- 7:32Speaker 5: she was pretty. Like I've respond back, I don't start
- 7:34Speaker 5: the conversation.
- 7:35Speaker 2: But are you like sitting and being descriptive about other
- 7:38Speaker 2: girls like bodies at the gym and stuff like oh yeah,
- 7:42Speaker 2: this girl just did down or dog.
- 7:48Speaker 3: So it's weird they going that far.
- 7:50Speaker 5: Yes, If you're just like, oh yeah, no, she was
- 7:52Speaker 5: definitely really fine, that's fine.
- 7:54Speaker 3: I agree. I think it's really weird.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Especially it's crazy to me that you've been dating him
- 7:59Speaker 2: for two years and he's been so great, but like
- 8:02Speaker 2: it's almost like he's another person when you're not around.
- 8:05Speaker 3: That's kind of weird to me.
- 8:06Speaker 7: Yeah, that's what freaked me out, because yeah, I don't
- 8:09Speaker 7: even recognize that person.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Call the show.
- 8:13Speaker 2: If you're a guy that does this, and if this
- 8:15Speaker 2: is normal, I want you to give us your side.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Eight three three five oh one, BAMA is the number?
- 8:22Speaker 2: That's eight three three five o one two two sixty two.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Or if you're in Danielle's position, would you break up
- 8:28Speaker 2: with your boyfriend if you saw that? That's eight three
- 8:30Speaker 2: three five oh one two two sixty two.
- 8:32Speaker 1: If you're listening, to The Alabama Show on demand.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Eight three three five I one Bama is the number

- 8:46Speaker 2: Is it normal that Danielle's boyfriend's talking about other girls
- 8:48Speaker 2: doing camel pos?
- 8:50Speaker 5: No, it's not normal that she's dating a guy that
- 8:53Speaker 5: goes to yoga with that, or what a loser.
- 8:57Speaker 3: I've seen a lot of issues here, honey.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Okay, but are you talking to other guys you're married?
- 9:03Speaker 3: Are you talking to other guys about how hot other
- 9:05Speaker 3: girls are?
- 9:06Speaker 7: Yes?
- 9:07Speaker 3: Yes? Did your wife know you're doing it?
- 9:12Speaker 1: Of course?
- 9:12Speaker 3: Most likely.
- 9:13Speaker 2: I hope she knows that I'm straight male that likes women.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Oh my god. Okay, you say it. So you say
- 9:22Speaker 2: the talking is normal, the yoga is not.
- 9:25Speaker 3: No, one hundred percent. There is some red flags there.
- 9:28Speaker 5: Yes, he should be able to look at women and
- 9:30Speaker 5: find them attractive.
- 9:31Speaker 3: Don't vocalize this so much. But don't go to yoga,
- 9:36Speaker 3: do you do it? Go to CrossFit? If you're going
- 9:38Speaker 3: to do something. Thank you, Andrew, ill have you, buddy?
- 9:41Speaker 7: I love y'all.

- 9:56Speaker 2: in a relationship because Danielle saw her boyfriend's text messag?
- 10:00Speaker 3: What are people saying on Facebook?

- 10:06Speaker 3: Well.
- 10:07Speaker 5: April says that men shouldn't say things like that about women,
- 10:10Speaker 5: and no, it's not normal behavior, it's stupid and she
- 10:13Speaker 5: deserves better than that.
- 10:14Speaker 3: Good break up. It's weird. I think it's weird too.
- 10:17Speaker 3: You wouldn't do it your a relationship.
- 10:19Speaker 5: No, it's you know it is what?
- 10:22Speaker 3: I don't know. No, I don't know. What do you

- 12:01Speaker 2: on the cookies.
- 12:02Speaker 3: There's some villains.
- 12:04Speaker 2: There's like a whole game with it where I don't know,
- 12:07Speaker 2: it's some weird Marvel stuff.
- 12:08Speaker 3: I don't get it. All I know is the cream
- 12:10Speaker 3: changes colors. This is made for me. This is like,
- 12:14Speaker 3: this is right up my aller. Producer Blake is the
- 12:16Speaker 3: Marvel nerd.
- 12:17Speaker 2: You go investigate figure out the Oreo thing and go
- 12:20Speaker 2: get the oreos and try and do there's a game.
- 12:22Speaker 3: There's like some kind of game we can register to win.
- 12:25Speaker 3: I don't know, or you gather research. I'll do the research.
- 12:29Speaker 2: And if you have kids that are superhero fans, go
- 12:31Speaker 2: look for the cookies in the grocery store because the
- 12:33Speaker 2: cream changes colors and that's cool. That's the sweet things
- 12:36Speaker 2: You need to know more at the Alabama Show dot com.
- 12:40Speaker 1: You were listening to the Alabama Show. The following program
- 12:43Speaker 1: is on demand.
- 12:45Speaker 3: If you ever have good news, call the show and
- 12:47Speaker 3: share your story. We love to hear at eight three
- 12:49Speaker 3: three five.
- 12:49Speaker 2: O Wi Baana is the number and I got to
- 12:52Speaker 2: talk about the good news that happened with all of
- 12:54Speaker 2: this cold weather that we had.
- 12:56Speaker 3: There were firefighters.
- 12:57Speaker 2: There was a firefighter who carried a homeless man the
- 13:00Speaker 2: snow to shelter and safety.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Oh, that is amazing.
- 13:03Speaker 2: In Fort Worth, Texas, there were a bunch of homeless
- 13:06Speaker 2: people that the firefighters were getting out of the cold weather.
- 13:10Speaker 2: I mean, this has happened all over the South. The
- 13:12Speaker 2: weather has been insane. So there's a photo of one
- 13:15Speaker 2: firefighter carrying a guy on his back to get him
- 13:17Speaker 2: to a hospital.
- 13:19Speaker 3: They were several people that they carried out.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Here are the first responders talking about helping the people
- 13:24Speaker 2: get out of the cold.
- 13:25Speaker 8: There's just a lot of weight to carry in the
- 13:26Speaker 8: slippery conditions. So it took both of us. As Lewis
- 13:30Speaker 8: had him on his back. I was having to help
- 13:32Speaker 8: support and push up the hill just so we wouldn't
- 13:35Speaker 8: go back down.
- 13:36Speaker 2: I also don't think our first responders get enough credit
- 13:39Speaker 2: because we get to stay home.
- 13:40Speaker 3: When it's icy and snowy.
- 13:42Speaker 2: But we still nurses, doctors, firefighters, ambulances, everybody still, our
- 13:49Speaker 2: police officers, they still have to work.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Yeah, they're out here doing like real work.
- 13:54Speaker 2: So if you are a first responder and you listen
- 13:57Speaker 2: to the show, or an essential worker even people, even
- 13:59Speaker 2: if you if you work at waffle house, because waffle
- 14:01Speaker 2: House is still stayed open to in the food industry
- 14:04Speaker 2: to keep us fed. You are what's awesome today, and
- 14:07Speaker 2: thank you for doing what you do.
- 14:09Speaker 1: You're listening to the Alabama Show.
- 14:11Speaker 2: To man, my grandmother is on one, and I'm venting
- 14:14Speaker 2: to you about it so that I don't argue with her.
- 14:18Speaker 3: What did what did Mema do? This time?
- 14:21Speaker 2: By the way, thank you for listening to the Alabama Show.
- 14:23Speaker 2: I'm Alabama the girl with producer Blake. Me Ma is
- 14:26Speaker 2: my grandmother who raised me, who is very sassy. We
- 14:28Speaker 2: have called her on the show a lot of times.
- 14:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:32Speaker 2: And you know my little cousin Hannah, who is the
- 14:35Speaker 2: voice of what what the hell?
- 14:39Speaker 3: Headlines? Correct? That was her when she was a little kid.
- 14:41Speaker 3: She also grew up with mem with me. We are
- 14:44Speaker 3: like sisters. Hannah has a baby.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Hannah's baby is like a year and three or four
- 14:49Speaker 2: months whatever.
- 14:50Speaker 9: Yeah, So on Sundays we go to me Ma's so
- 14:54Speaker 9: that we can all hang out with Hannah and Ida
- 14:57Speaker 9: the baby. Yes correct, yesterday me Ma was in the
- 15:04Speaker 9: in another room.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Ida and I are sitting in the living room. Hannah's
- 15:09Speaker 2: using the bathroom, and I'm pulling up farm animals on
- 15:13Speaker 2: my phone and showing them to the baby.
- 15:16Speaker 3: And we're making farm animal noises.
- 15:19Speaker 2: We're moving, we're me owing, we're goating bath that's what
- 15:22Speaker 2: goat's going.
- 15:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:25Speaker 2: And when I get mad at my grandmother, I call
- 15:28Speaker 2: her by her legal name. Janet comes into the living
- 15:31Speaker 2: room and Janet says, no, there's no phones.
- 15:37Speaker 10: We don't have phones around the baby. That's gonna ruin
- 15:40Speaker 10: her development. And she ganked my phone for me and
- 15:43Speaker 10: took it from me. And I looked at her and went,
- 15:46Speaker 10: what are you talking about?
- 15:47Speaker 3: She goes, I.
- 15:48Speaker 10: Saw on the news the other day letting babies look
- 15:51Speaker 10: at phones ruins their development.
- 15:53Speaker 3: We're not doing it. And I looked at me Ma,
- 15:55Speaker 3: and I said, are you her mother? Oh boy? She goes, no,
- 16:02Speaker 3: but you're in my house.
- 16:04Speaker 2: And Hannah comes out and I said, Hannah, I'm showing
- 16:09Speaker 2: her farm animals.
- 16:10Speaker 3: Do you care? And me and Moll goes, how about y'all?
- 16:13Speaker 3: Me and Moll cussed at us.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Both she cussed us, and then we looked at her
- 16:17Speaker 2: because Mama had Peppa Pig on the TV. I said, well,
- 16:20Speaker 2: the TV's is screen too, that's the same thing.
