- 0:12SPEAKER_01: Without further ado, let's dive in.
- 0:22SPEAKER_01: Hello everybody, welcome to the first episode of season two of the TFS Wellcast.
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: New Year, new office, new office.
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: So we're gonna start this episode off with a with a different kind of topic.
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: New year, new you.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: Will you build well this year or will you watch while others do it?
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: And of course, kicking things off with me is uh uh founder and director, Mr.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: Pramo Rodrigo, who better to uh initiate the first episode of season two.
- 0:50SPEAKER_01: Hey Pramu, how are you?
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: I'm very good.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: Happy New Year to you, Vishy, and happy new year to everybody.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: So cheers for that.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: I I hope you all had a good Christmas and a good uh new year celebration.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, boss uh you know, uh uh off days, the two weeks.
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: I really missed work.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: Uh you know, I had nothing else to do at home, I was so bored, but uh it's nice to be back in office and uh getting straight into it.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: So so Pramu, let's talk a bit about this topic.
- 1:20SPEAKER_01: You know, why specifically did we think of doing a topic like New Year, New Year's?
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: Will you build wealth this year or will you watch while others do it?
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's like you know, it's like one of those things that everybody um decides about you know, 30th or 29th of December from till the first of January, they all always decide, okay.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: I uh this is it, I'm gonna go to the gym, I'm gonna eat right, I'm gonna drink more water.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: Oh, it's it's the worst time to go to the gym.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: Obviously, the start of the year, it's like so it's one of those things, right?
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: So uh a lot of people, apart from the uh the the health side of it, they also put goals such as okay, this year I'm gonna buy my first home.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: This year, no matter what, I'm gonna save fifty thousand dollars.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: This year I'm gonna get married.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: This year I'm gonna get married.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna meet the one.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: This is the one, this is the year, this is the one, this is that year.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna meet her, right?
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: Or him or him, right?
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: Or them.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: So them?
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they them.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, okay.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: Sorry, yeah, sorry.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: I'm simple, I'm a simple person, so you know sometimes I get confused with these kind of complex.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: Um but okay, coming back to the topic, you know, uh uh financial goals.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: Financial goals, uh, it's a common thing for for a lot of people, uh, especially uh beginning of January.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: They they just come up with uh things, you know, they which which they want to achieve, which are good goals, by the way, right?
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: Don't get me wrong.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: These are good, if you can achieve them, brilliant.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: But the problem is third week of January comes in, they have forgotten about it already.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: They've already gone back to their old habits, yeah.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: Giving up.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so when it comes to financial, uh setting goals in finance side of it.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: My first thing is go back to the old school, write it down on a piece of paper.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, you love you you love taking notes.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: Your goal shouldn't should be always written down, not typed up.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: Because there's a psychological impact, right, when you write it down as opposed to just trying to memory remember it in your head.
- 3:33SPEAKER_01: Correct.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: So it's a it's a connection between your uh uh uh thought and you're physically putting your thoughts down on a paper, right?
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: Now, some some could argue, you know, it's the same thing, we are typing it up on a uh phone or a computer or whatever.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: Guilty.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: I'm guilty of that, you know.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: I I know I've been always telling you guys, you know, stop stop typing, just write the damn thing down.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: So write down your goals, very important, whether whether it's gonna be on a on a book or piece of paper or even uh on on the mirror, you know, your bathroom mirror, write it down.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: Um that that has an impact, right?
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: So so once you write these uh finance, financial goals, or whatever the goals that you want to uh achieve that year, your your your mindset, your brain will start working towards it without you even consciously know about it.
- 4:28unknown: Right?
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: So you have prepared your uh brain, you prepared your mindset towards that.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: So you'll see some changes, you'll see certain decisions that you you will make when the time comes, and you'll be surprised.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: Oh, all of a sudden, you signed up for a you know uh a mortgage application, and and you're halfway there to get a uh you know, pre-approval, you're halfway there.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: And all you have to do now is find that right property.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: So go to the market, have a look at the properties, you know, get a feel.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: You find that one, pre-approval becomes an unconditional approval.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: You're a homeowner.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: It's one of those things, you just have to do it, right?
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: Everybody, uh you know, I'll I'll do it, I'll save up, you know.
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: Like for a year, like like he says, just do it, just do it, keep it simple.
- 5:21SPEAKER_01: So so Prabhu, you know, uh, if if we talk about where most people fall short, right?
- 5:27SPEAKER_01: Now I would like to I'd like to uh recite a quote to you, right?
- 5:31SPEAKER_01: Every year has two groups: the ones who move and the ones who explain why they didn't.
- 5:38SPEAKER_01: You know, when you think of a quote like this, uh what are some things that come to your mind as in, you know, is it is it that some people just wait when it comes to buying a property, are people trying to wait for the market to crash to buy a property and they miss out?
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: Or other people, uh, certain people they would get a really good package or a really good opportunity to buy a really good property, and then they start overthinking and then it doesn't result into any action, someone else has already beaten them to it, got the property, and then uh they get sad, and then a bad opportunity would come out of the market, and they're like, Oh shit, I missed a good one, I don't want to miss this.
- 6:17SPEAKER_01: And then without thinking, they commit to a bad opportunity.
- 6:21SPEAKER_01: And I'm sure you've seen this many times.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: Oh, many times.
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: I I'll I'll answer you uh with a question itself, right?
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, okay.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: Um what's the point of an idea if you don't execute it?
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: It just becomes a thought, right?
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: Just a thought, just a game and it just went.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: It's like that.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: You come you you will get so many ideas, but you you you you narrow it down to one idea, you gotta do something about it, you gotta execute, right?
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: The first step you gotta do.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: If you if you're planning on buying a car, well, you know, 18-year-old got your license, you've saved some money, your parents are giving, giving, you know, uh maybe matching your savings to buy your first car.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: Unless you go and look for it, the car will never come and find you.
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: I mean, you know, right?
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: Unless unless it's a transformer, like you know, transformer movie.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: Oh, kit from Light Rider, you know.
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: So uh you have to go and find that car, you have to do the test test drives and and see whether it's it's the right car for you.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: You just have to do it.
- 7:37SPEAKER_00: It's it's no point of uh uh you you no point of if that you're not moving, just just having an idea if you're not moving towards it, right?
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: So many, many, many people in uh in what what I've seen in in our industry who wants to buy their second investment property or third investment property, or some has even larger uh uh even ambitious uh uh large ambitions, right?
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: So they they might come up and say, you know, I want to build uh a five property portfolio, ten property portfolio by uh before I become 40, or before I become 45, I want to have 10 property portfolio.
- 8:20SPEAKER_00: You're at 35, you have your first home, if you're not accessing the equity of that property to buy your first investment property, how the hell are you planning to go and build 10 property portfolios by your 45?
- 8:36SPEAKER_00: Unless you are really hoping for a lottery win or sugar daddy, right?
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: Or sugar mommy, right?
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: You're hoping for that then, right?
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: So these are I don't know what are the probability of those happening, less than 50% winning a lottery.
- 8:53SPEAKER_01: I mean, our new office is in uh it's in Hawthorne, so I think the chances of in my case finding a sugar mommy is much higher over here.
- 9:02SPEAKER_01: No?
- 9:02SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 9:03SPEAKER_01: No, all right, I don't think so, man.
- 9:05SPEAKER_01: All right, guys.
- 9:06SPEAKER_01: I'll have to work hard.
- 9:10SPEAKER_01: So so so so uh let's let's talk about four moves, right, uh, that people can make this new year uh at the start of the new year, preferably.
- 9:24SPEAKER_01: That would really help them, you know, uh get in to the market sooner than later.
- 9:32SPEAKER_01: Uh let's talk about refinancing.
- 9:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, right.
- 9:35SPEAKER_01: When it comes to refinancing, I feel like a lot of clients they need to refinance with a purpose because there are different goals as to why people should refinance, you know.
- 9:45SPEAKER_01: Uh main goal to save money from on the repayment, uh, some refinance to access equity, like you said, to buy maybe an investment property, or maybe they just want to cash out or do something else.
- 9:58SPEAKER_01: Uh so what what advice would you give clients who want to refinance without refinancing just for the lowest rate?
- 10:08SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 10:08SPEAKER_01: What are some other tips you can give them?
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, apart from getting a lower rate and paying paying less interest, um, have a purpose of your refinance because if you're going to if you're going to uh refinance your loan from a 25 year you've already paid five years down, and you're gonna go and get another five more years, so add five more years.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: Essentially, you started at 30 and you're adding another five, is your 35 years now.
- 10:33unknown: Right?
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: Pay interest, yeah.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: Okay, so so you have to think about why you are doing that.
- 10:39SPEAKER_00: It could be a reason that you want to minimize your cash, you know, you you know, minimize your repayment so you have a better cash flow that will enable you to buy an investment property.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: So increasing that term will enable you to access uh or generate more capital, uh, more equity towards your uh wealth creation, right?
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: Um for other reasons as well.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: If you're if you're accessing equity, uh refinancing, accessing the$20,000 or$30,000 to renovate your house on a on a value-based renovation, right?
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: So if you it's costing you about$25,000,$30,000 to do a uh a renovation, maybe you know uh putting some new new grass or new new plants in in your backyard to put in some lights or decking, right?
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: Putting a pagola, maybe, maybe a pool.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: I don't I don't know whether you can do it for 20,000, but you know, 100,000, 70,000, uh a pool, adding a pool.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: Is that it cost that much to add a pool?
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it depends on type of pool, right?
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: So so so if if if you now you're adding value to your property, right?
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: All of a sudden, your property now four bedroom, two bathroom, two car garage, and alfresco, plus a pool.
- 11:55SPEAKER_00: Now when you want to sell it, or when you value do doing valuations with with banks, your value is gonna go up.
- 12:04SPEAKER_00: So have a purpose.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: And and and don't just say for the sake of you, look, I've seen I've I've seen few few uh uh advertisements in in in in social media, uh some brokers advertising uh you you refinance with with with that particular person, they will give you a thousand dollars.
- 12:24SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: You you have to be half half stupid to even even call that broker, right?
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: Because you can add another five years to to to your your your term, right?
- 12:37SPEAKER_00: And that broker has no idea about wealth creation, right?
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: He it just the transaction only, that's why he's giving you a thousand bucks and hoping that you will stay two years so he won't have a club, right?
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: And you're hoping.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: You don't want people like that.
- 12:53SPEAKER_00: Think about yourself if you're refinancing, if you're adding another five years or two years, even uh even a year, what does that year gonna give you?
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: Not the thousand dollars cash back, please don't refinance for it.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: Trust me, you can call the bank and say, Hey, I'm gonna refinance with another bank.
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: Bank might give you about two thousand dollar cash back.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: You don't need brokers for that at a better rate.
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: Okay, you you you you need to have a purpose when you're refinancing it, you need to understand exactly what you're planning on doing with this.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: If if it's gonna ease your cash flow, that means it's gonna help you to save more money, right?
- 13:29SPEAKER_00: That will also, in the short term, help you to save interest that you pay, right?
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: To the property.
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that savings will also help you to uh do value added values to your property or to yourself.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: It may not be always buying a property and uh uh creating wealth, man.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: You if you you want you want to save money to help your parents, or you want to save money to help your siblings, or helping total stranger for whatever the reason, right?
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: You need to save that three thousand dollars or two thousand dollars.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: That is a purpose.
- 14:07SPEAKER_00: That's okay.
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: Don't just do it for a thousand dollar cash back, blindly just doing it.
- 14:13SPEAKER_00: Don't do that.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: Banks also see this, right?
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: They also give two thousand dollar cash back, three thousand dollar cash back for you to come because they know okay, you we we we we dangle a carrot to you, you will you will keep extending your term, so you will start keep paying interest to the bank for a long time.
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: Banks are not stupid, right?
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: So, so so fellow listeners, if you if you're listening, uh when you when you are thinking of refinancing, have a purpose while you're refinancing it, that purpose also needs to needs to give you benefits.
- 14:54SPEAKER_00: If not, just call the bank and negotiate the rate.
- 14:58SPEAKER_01: I mean, I mean if that's the case, if if they're real now, speaking of benefit, benefits, right?
- 15:04SPEAKER_01: Uh this could be tip number two.
- 15:07SPEAKER_01: If you really want some special offers, yeah, right, like cashbacks and whatnot.
- 15:13SPEAKER_01: Tfs loyalty, we don't give cashbacks, but let's talk about the TFS loyalty program.
- 15:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, you know, yeah, it's one of its kind, no other broker, no other broker.
- 15:24SPEAKER_01: Australia, no other bank, no other bank or broker, they can't do it.
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: Even if they want to try it, right?
- 15:30SPEAKER_00: Now now that's a value we give.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: Now, of course, we gotta be as as as the owner of TFS and one of the owners of the TFS, uh, we don't want to give value for every single person in Australia.
- 15:48SPEAKER_00: You gotta be part of TFS, you gotta come to our ecosystem.
- 15:52SPEAKER_00: When you're part of our ecosystem, when you are a member, you will get these values.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: So we are not hiding things here.
- 15:59SPEAKER_00: Yes, when you come to your bring your mortgage or refinance, get more more more loans with us.
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: Yes, of course, our business is gonna grow.
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: What we promise you is give you the right advice.
- 16:11SPEAKER_00: If you're gonna increase your term from 25 to 30 year term, we'll give you an ad we'll give you an advice that and and and a plan that five years will will actually help you to bring down your mortgage by 10 years.
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: We will create that wealth, right?
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: So so we have the individuals who we have recruited, we have invested so much of money and and so much of time for individuals who has that capability and the experience uh and the qualification to give that advice to you, right?
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: So, you know, yeah.
- 16:43SPEAKER_01: So there you go, ladies and gentlemen.
- 16:44SPEAKER_01: If you want to know more about the TFS loyalty program, check out tfsloyalty.com.au uh now, Pramo, tip number three that I think you're you're one of the best people to uh give this tip to our listeners is because you love investing in property, right?
- 17:02SPEAKER_01: So to any of our listeners who are thinking about investing in whether it's residential property or commercial property, what are some tips uh you would give them at the start of this year, this new year 2026?
- 17:15SPEAKER_01: Would you would you let's let like you know let's let's uh be a bit more specific when it comes to timing the market, it's a big topic.
- 17:21SPEAKER_01: A lot of people talk about it.
- 17:23SPEAKER_01: So, this new year, timing the market, what what is your take on it?
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: So, I mean uh if I if I get a penny uh for every single time I I I explain about timing the market, uh I have quite a lot of money to just just to spend four.
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: That's a lot of pennies.
- 17:40SPEAKER_00: That's a lot of pennies.
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: Um, no, no, no.
- 17:43SPEAKER_00: Look, look, there's no such thing called timing the market.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: There's no such thing, right?
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: There are there are investors, I can give you examples.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: There are investors who buy properties on a downturn market and also on upward markets, right?
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: So it's all about the again coming back to the purpose of your uh investment.
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: What's your return on investment?
- 18:07SPEAKER_00: What is your net uh uh uh uh uh uh uh net return, right?
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: What what are the benefits you will get from your uh investment?
- 18:15SPEAKER_00: Are you are you getting any tax deductions, right?
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: Uh you your your net income has it is is it going up is it growing, right?
- 18:24SPEAKER_00: Does it does it does it help you to uh save more money?
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: Does it also help you to retire soon?
- 18:30SPEAKER_00: Or does it help you help you to send your children to maybe a private school?
- 18:36SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 18:36SPEAKER_00: You may want to send your children to private school, but you don't have that uh uh extra money in your savings to do that.
- 18:45SPEAKER_00: Is a purpose aligned with you, right?
- 18:50SPEAKER_00: That that's the main thing.
- 18:52SPEAKER_00: There's no such thing called timing the market, it's about timing yourself, right?
- 18:58SPEAKER_00: It's actually yeah, it is what it is, it is all about timing yourself.
- 19:02SPEAKER_00: It's not about timing the market, market moves regardless.
- 19:07SPEAKER_00: Whether you are ready or not, it goes up, comes down, it just gets itself corrected, yeah, keep going up.
- 19:14SPEAKER_00: But then if you look at, you know, now we are in the end 2026, right?
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: If you look look back 10 years ago, 20 2016, January, what was the market?
- 19:25SPEAKER_00: Just go back another 10 more years, 2006, January.
- 19:28SPEAKER_00: What was the market?
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: Another 10 years back, 1996.
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: What was the market?
- 19:33SPEAKER_00: I mean, you can keep going back.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: There are so much of information out there, right?
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: You'll see the property has always performed the market.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: It always performed.
- 19:46unknown: Right?
- 19:46SPEAKER_00: Property investors who have done it right, they've retired well with passive income.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: Now, this passive income, I I have I have uh been asked by uh young, very young, very young uh uh individuals, uh, you know, Pramu.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: Uh we want to we want to we I want to retire by 40 with a passive income.
- 20:08unknown: Right?
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: That the fellow is about 25.
- 20:10SPEAKER_00: Brilliant, 40.
- 20:11SPEAKER_00: What are you gonna do at 40?
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: What's your retirement looks like at 40?
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: So that's not a question, what do you mean?
- 20:17SPEAKER_00: I got I got passive income, I don't need to work.
- 20:20SPEAKER_01: Speaking of retiring at 40, Prahu, why don't you retire?
- 20:23SPEAKER_01: You're 40.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: What the hell am I gonna do?
- 20:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you you you go bored, you get very bored.
- 20:28SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 20:28SPEAKER_00: So so the purpose goes away.
- 20:31SPEAKER_00: Purpose goes away more than you retire.
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: By 40, you retire.
- 20:36SPEAKER_00: Really?
- 20:36SPEAKER_00: Think about it.
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: What are you gonna do?
- 20:38SPEAKER_00: You're gonna have money coming into your account, which you which you know, we can you might have an accountant who take care of all the accounting side of it, taxes sorted out.
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: Play golf, playing golf, you can party, you could buy a few cars, you know, probably drives, coffee, avocados, you know, you name it.
- 20:55SPEAKER_01: Probably have a heart attack by 45.
- 20:57SPEAKER_00: You name it.
- 20:59SPEAKER_00: So, what are you gonna do every day?
- 21:01SPEAKER_00: 365 days, you're gonna do this?
- 21:03SPEAKER_00: Really?
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: Have you thought about that?
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: Okay, you've done a year.
- 21:07SPEAKER_00: Are you willing to do another 365 days?
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: Damn, this turned into a motivational life coaching session.
- 21:15SPEAKER_00: You can't, yeah, because you don't know what you're gonna do when you retire.
- 21:20SPEAKER_00: First of all, if you want to retire by 40, have a bloody plan.
- 21:25SPEAKER_00: What are you gonna do at 40 when you retire?
- 21:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:28SPEAKER_01: And if you want to plan, you need a financial planner.
- 21:32SPEAKER_01: And uh, you know, at TFS we do it all, so it's a product plug there, but yeah, you know.
- 21:38SPEAKER_00: We should we should actually ask the financial planning department to put a uh put a put a advertisement.
- 21:43SPEAKER_01: No, but the thing is, our financial planning department is very specific, so they don't want to work with everyone.
- 21:49SPEAKER_01: So, you know, yeah.
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: So coming back to this, right?
- 21:51SPEAKER_00: So um you can achieve financial freedom.
- 21:56SPEAKER_00: There are people I have seen by 30, they have achieved financial freedom.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Enough money.
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: You can do it.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: But have a have a have a purpose.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: What you're going to do afterwards.
- 22:08SPEAKER_00: But that's why we always say, you know, uh when you when when you come to retirement age of 55 to 60, 65, you're still gonna work.
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: We have quite a lot of clients at 60 and 65.
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: Quite a number of clients.
- 22:22SPEAKER_00: You have dealt with few few wishes, right?
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: Above 60.
- 22:25SPEAKER_00: Do they do they even sound 60?
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: No.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: They still work, they are having fun.
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 22:32SPEAKER_01: But now they are they can retire if but they don't want to because then they don't have anything else that drives them to wake up in the morning and what are they gonna do?
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 22:44SPEAKER_01: Like you know, my boss is one of those people, you know.
- 22:47SPEAKER_01: Bad can retire, he doesn't want to.
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: Nothing much I can do right now.
- 22:54SPEAKER_00: Okay, I can drop drop the kids to school, play some player 18-hole every day, or what's the purpose of playing 18 hole every day if I'm if I'm not planning to maybe play at a bit bit more at a higher level.
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: So then it becomes a purpose, purpose-driven exercise, purpose-driven activity.
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: Now my goal has gone to you know what, I want to play at a higher level.
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I want to bring my handicap down.
- 23:19SPEAKER_01: Basically, what you're saying is anything you do in life, do it with purpose.
- 23:26SPEAKER_01: True.
- 23:27SPEAKER_01: Walking corpse.
- 23:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, literally, zombies.
- 23:32SPEAKER_01: So, so Prabhu, okay.
- 23:34SPEAKER_01: Uh this new year, 2026.
- 23:36SPEAKER_01: What's two pieces of advice that you would give our listeners?
- 23:40SPEAKER_01: Two pieces of advice.
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: Okay, look, first thing I think the most important advice I can give to anybody, uh, whatever the walks of life you have, just stay true to yourself.
- 23:57SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 23:57SPEAKER_00: Don't uh don't don't go and uh don't try to copy someone and try to become someone, try to become fake.
- 24:07SPEAKER_00: We have seen many people who try to copy somebody, you know, dress like them, drive like them.
- 24:15SPEAKER_00: But it's okay to get inspired by something, get inspired by the people who have done well, yeah, learn from them, right?
- 24:22SPEAKER_00: But uh just be true to yourself, you become an original version of yourself, don't lose your authenticity, no, no, upgrade yourself.
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: That is a good way to say, right?
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: Upgrade yourself, learn new skills, you know, follow uh follow thought leaders, follow people who have achieved at the highest level, right?
- 24:39SPEAKER_00: Whatever, right?
- 24:40SPEAKER_00: It can be it can be sportsmen, it can be business owners, right?
- 24:45SPEAKER_00: It can be even uh simple people who has gone to a uh next level of uh uh uh mind uh mindfulness, right?
- 24:57SPEAKER_00: Always become better than yourself.
- 25:01SPEAKER_00: So let me rephrase it.
- 25:04SPEAKER_00: Become a better version of yourself than yesterday.
- 25:09SPEAKER_00: My first advice okay, be true to yourself and and and do that, stick with it.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: Consistent is the most important part of it.
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: Second piece of advice.
- 25:22SPEAKER_01: Advice number two.
- 25:23SPEAKER_00: Number two.
- 25:25SPEAKER_00: All right, boss man.
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: Okay, second piece of advice think about think about what you would leave for your children or for your loved ones, or anybody who's gonna be uh after you.
- 25:46SPEAKER_00: What are you gonna leave?
- 25:47SPEAKER_00: So maybe creating wealth, maybe building, maybe building some property, property portfolio to to hand it over to your children, or to go.
- 25:57SPEAKER_00: I don't know, right?
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: This is my advice, okay?
- 26:00SPEAKER_00: So so uh do something like that for the future, right?
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: So at some point, we all are gonna go six feet under or get you know burned into ashes, right?
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: We all are gonna have the same thing.
- 26:17SPEAKER_00: Oh no, I want to be buried at sea.
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: You're buried at sea.
- 26:20SPEAKER_01: I don't want to be six feet under like everyone else.
- 26:21SPEAKER_01: Buried at sea.
- 26:22SPEAKER_01: Who's gonna bury you at sea?
- 26:23SPEAKER_01: No, just you know, uh just tie a rock and just dump me, dump my corpse in the ocean so it'll sink.
- 26:29SPEAKER_01: That's not burying you at sea, that's sinking you at sea.
- 26:32SPEAKER_01: That's sinking me at sea, you know.
- 26:34SPEAKER_01: I didn't think that through.
- 26:40SPEAKER_01: Okay, where was that again?
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: Um sometimes.
- 26:47SPEAKER_01: So you were giving two tips.
- 26:48SPEAKER_01: You gave you gave both tips.
- 26:50SPEAKER_01: Advice.
- 26:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, whatever you do, do it with purpose.
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: Do it with purpose, be true to yourself, be true to yourself, uh and and and then uh uh do it for the future.
- 27:00SPEAKER_01: 100%, yeah.
- 27:01SPEAKER_01: Right whether it's for yourself or for your family or for your kids.
- 27:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, progress is the most important part about your life, amen.
- 27:10SPEAKER_01: So, with that being said, Prabhupada, before we wrap up, TFS uh start of 2025 or end of 2024, we were a team of less than 20 employees.
- 27:21SPEAKER_01: End of 2025.

- 27:25SPEAKER_00: End of 2025, we had 15 people, all up.
- 27:29SPEAKER_00: 50, 15, that was the total.
- 27:31SPEAKER_01: I'm talking about our end of 2024.
- 27:34SPEAKER_01: 2024, yeah.
- 27:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so now end of 2025, we are at 40, 38, yeah, we are at 35.
- 27:40SPEAKER_01: 35, yeah, and more than doubled, more than doubled, yeah.
- 27:43SPEAKER_01: Three dutiful officers, three officers, yep.
- 27:46SPEAKER_01: Started with two, yeah, started with one, started with sorry, started with one, yeah, and now we have three.
- 27:53SPEAKER_01: Three, uh in fact, we have four now, no?
- 27:55SPEAKER_01: Four officers, exactly.
- 27:57SPEAKER_01: Four officers now, and then it's growing.
- 27:58SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 27:59SPEAKER_01: So what uh where where's TFS headed uh this year?
