- 1:04Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Thanks, Tom.
- 1:05Dr. Dolores Fazzino: I love your introduction.
- 1:07Dr. Dolores Fazzino: It's very colorful.
- 1:08Dr. Dolores Fazzino: I might have to adapt that to mine.
- 1:10Tom: Just run it through ChatGPT, ask for good alliteration.
- 1:13Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Yes, you know, ChatGPT is a real great tool.
- 1:16Dr. Dolores Fazzino: I do agree.
- 1:17Tom: I mean, you still to a little editing.
- 1:18Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Yeah, I know, but it's still a good, it's I'm enjoying it myself
- 1:22Tom: Awesome.
- 1:22Tom: Well, the first question I always like to ask our guests is what's your definition of a heart-led business?
- 1:28Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Well, gosh, Tom, you know, for me, I believe it is knowing yourself and aligning with who you are.
- 1:36Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Now, for me, it's like, I really hold being an integrity, a very good value.
- 1:42Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And it's about, you know, I it's great.
- 1:44Dr. Dolores Fazzino: It's hard to put it into words, I guess, for me.
- 1:47Dr. Dolores Fazzino: I'm having a struggle with it because it's so unique to me.
- 1:50Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And I really haven't even thought about it that much yet.
- 1:53Dr. Dolores Fazzino: I know that when I leave from my heart space and speak from my heart space and do things from my heart space, I am on the right path.
- 2:04Tom: And you can actually feel that inside, in terms of excitement and actually physical representation of that.
- 2:10Dr. Dolores Fazzino: It's like doing the right thing and being in alignment with yourself.
- 2:15Tom: Yeah, absolutely.
- 2:16Tom: That alignment is a kind of common theme that I hear on the show, because we have a lot empaths and health and wellness practitioners that really are quite good givers.
- 2:24Tom: And having that alignment just, it feels good, right?
- 2:28Tom: So tell us a little bit about your business and what inspired you to start a heart led business.
- 2:32Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Well, I think I've always been a heart led type of person, even from, you know, just stepping out of, making my entrances into this world out of my mom's womb and I have always been an empath, intuitive and highly sensitive person.
- 2:45Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So as far as feeling and connecting with energy, that was, I would say my lifeline.
- 2:52Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Cause that was how I was able to maneuver through the river of life.
- 2:58Dr. Dolores Fazzino: If you want to call it that or the streams or whatever because this was like the only innate thing that came with me.
- 3:04Dr. Dolores Fazzino: I didn't come with any other Toolkit, if you want to call it that, or instruction manual on how to be here on earth, because it's like some of us are, it's daunting when we first are here, we're like, what the hell is this shit?
- 3:18Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And it's like, how do I fit in?
- 3:20Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Because nobody told me about this.
- 3:22Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And it's just like, it's really an eye, it's an eye opener.
- 3:26Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So for me, I've been pretty much that way my whole entire life.
- 3:30Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And of course we all go through our challenges when we're youngsters and we're born into families that are going to teach us and mold us into where we need to go as an adult.
- 3:42Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And sometimes, We have to stifle who we truly are until as a survival mechanism in order to get through our childhood until we're in young adulthood and we start unraveling all of that and really kind of having a renaissance and coming back to home.
- 3:59Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So for me, I'm going to say that my whole life has been a journey to this point right now.
- 4:06Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And it is by aligning with what is near and dear to your heart, but also listening to that intuitive wisdom that we each have and learning to trust that more and more every day has been instrumental in that.
- 4:19Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So, you know, I'm going to just segue into, you know, the story of how I got into this, because I think it's kind of interesting because when, sometimes when you're on a pathway, Something happens in the 11th hour and it allows you to pivot into something completely different.
- 4:35Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And for me, one of those moments was I was a teenager.
- 4:40Dr. Dolores Fazzino: I was probably in 11th grade and on a pathway to become a concert clarinetist because in our house we weren't allowed to feel.
- 4:47Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So I channeled all my feeling into music and I really excelled at it.
- 4:51Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And what was also happening in tandem at the same time, my dad had been sick on and off for about 10 years at that time with a chronic condition that he actually acquired in the hospital when he had back surgery 10 years prior.
- 5:07Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And so right around 1975 ish, everything kind of came to a head in our family.
- 5:14Dr. Dolores Fazzino: My dad was in the hospital once again with the chronic condition.
- 5:18Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And my mom was at her wits end.
- 5:21Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And so she was looking at alternative things.
- 5:23Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And of course you're looking back in 1975, we didn't have computer technology.
- 5:29Dr. Dolores Fazzino: We had Snail Mail.
- 5:30Dr. Dolores Fazzino: We didn't have Google MD.
- 5:32Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Sometimes we just had the National Enquirer.
- 5:35Dr. Dolores Fazzino: That's where a lot of people would get their information.
- 5:38Dr. Dolores Fazzino: I kid you not.
- 5:39Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Okay.
- 5:39Dr. Dolores Fazzino: I mean, there's like magazines, magazine racks at the grocery checkout and that's where those things hung out.
- 5:45Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And so my mom just happened to look at that and there was a article being featured.
- 5:51Dr. Dolores Fazzino: It was a write up.
- 5:51Dr. Dolores Fazzino: of a man who was a minister from Carroll, Michigan, who had the gift of laying on of hands.
- 5:57Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And he was being featured, a write up was being featured about him because he was instrumental in assisting his brother in healing from leukemia.
- 6:06Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And Reverend Holmes had been doing this work in 1975 for the last 25 years.
- 6:11Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So he was doing it since like the 1950s with pretty good success.
- 6:15Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And so my mom was all over this, like butter on bread, my dad, not so much.
- 6:20Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And it just so happened that mom and dad were in the hospital.
- 6:23Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Cause my dad was having his, you know, his, I'm going to say his last episode of this.
- 6:28Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Because and you know what medic western medicine was offering was a you know, of course they put them underneath the cat scanner because that was the new piece of instrumentation that came out in around that time and they were able to determine that where his condition was coming from was originally was from that original surgery back 10 years prior.
- 6:48Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So their solution also was to do a spinal fusion.
- 6:52Dr. Dolores Fazzino: which in 1975 was in its neophyte stages of development.
- 6:56Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So it came with a high high risks of either dying, being paralyzed, or maybe you'd get better and maybe not.
- 7:03Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So my mom was looking, she was pulling for straws, and because she felt Western medicine had failed her.
- 7:09Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So that day, my mom presented that to my father saying, you know, I'm thinking about, getting this healer to come in and my father was dug in and said only if the surgeon agrees to that because he was the biggest skeptic ever.
- 7:21Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So my mom happens to march out to the nurse's station where the surgeon was sitting and made an announcement to the surgeon saying I'm thinking about having a spiritual healer come in.
- 7:31Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Now you have to understand this is considered quackery in the day and age, okay and the surgeon didn't miss a beat, looked up and sure that's my dad, my mom went back to my dad.
- 7:40Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Oh, this, it gets even better.
- 7:41Dr. Dolores Fazzino: My mom went back to my dad and, you know, shared that information.
- 7:45Dr. Dolores Fazzino: My dad, you know, pretty much gave his seal of approval with it because the surgeon said, yes, not 10 minutes go by Tom.
- 7:52Dr. Dolores Fazzino: My mom goes back out to that same nurse's station, same doctor sitting there and announces to the surgeon that my husband agreed to have the spiritual healer come in to assist him.
- 8:01Dr. Dolores Fazzino: The surgeon dropped what he was doing, looked up at her and said, I never agreed that.
- 8:04Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Of course, my mom didn't share that piece of information with my dad and Reverend Holmes was in our humble home a month later.
- 8:10Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Because I, this is where God comes in and intervenes sometimes okay?
- 8:14Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Where things were lined up because they needed to go in a different direction than what they had been.
- 8:18Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So a month later, Reverend Holmes came to our home.
- 8:21Dr. Dolores Fazzino: My two grandmothers were there, my parents, and my brother and two sisters, there were four of us.
- 8:27Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And Reverend Holmes was there and I just loved his energy.
- 8:30Dr. Dolores Fazzino: He had this real radiance, but he was a very humble man.
- 8:34Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And he happened to notice that my dad had one leg that was shorter than the other.
- 8:39Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Don't ask me how he knew this because we knew this.
- 8:41Dr. Dolores Fazzino: But my dad was barefoot.
- 8:43Dr. Dolores Fazzino: He had, he was wearing lifts in his shoes, but his shoes were nowhere in sight and he was barefoot.
- 8:47Dr. Dolores Fazzino: I don't know how this man knew this, but he said to my father, put both of your feet up.
- 8:51Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And sure enough, there was a one inch gap between the shorter and the longer.
- 8:55Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And he said, put your legs down.
- 8:57Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And he started praying over my father.
- 8:58Dr. Dolores Fazzino: He touched his belly, the solar plexus on the top of his head, his crown chakra, and not three minutes went by.
- 9:04Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And he instructed my father to put both his feet up and they were both the same length.
- 9:08Dr. Dolores Fazzino: My dad started bawling like a baby, like I never witnessed before.
- 9:12Dr. Dolores Fazzino: I knew in that moment that my life, I was not supposed to be going into music.
- 9:17Dr. Dolores Fazzino: I was supposed to be going into healthcare to bridge the physical with the spiritual and the visible with the invisible.
- 9:23Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Father received another half hour of work from Reverend Holmes, and then he was instructed to rest for the next day or so.
- 9:30Dr. Dolores Fazzino: My dad slept over 24 hours because what we know when we do massive energy work is that you are realigning.
- 9:37Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And I call it very similar to having a computer, getting an upgraded program and you have to reboot the computer.
- 9:44Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So it re aligns with the newer, higher vibration.
- 9:47Dr. Dolores Fazzino: That's pretty much what energy work is as well.
- 9:49Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Your body needs to recalibrate to a higher frequency.
- 9:52Dr. Dolores Fazzino: My dad slept for over 24 hours.
- 9:54Dr. Dolores Fazzino: A month later, he went back to get a repeat CAT scan.
- 9:57Dr. Dolores Fazzino: It showed no evidence where the infection was.
- 9:59Dr. Dolores Fazzino: He never had to have the surgery.
- 10:02Dr. Dolores Fazzino: He never had to revisit that problem in his lifetime.
- 10:05Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And he passed away about 12 years ago at the of 80.
- 10:08Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So that was my pivotal point and so, and that was my if you want to call it initiation into the work that I do currently.
- 10:17Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And so being an empath, intuitive and highly sensitive person, you know, we operate on energy and feel.
- 10:24Dr. Dolores Fazzino: and frequency because everything is energy and you could just roadmap it all out.
- 10:29Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So for me with my work, it's been I would say an interesting journey because remember back in the 70s, this was considered quackery.
- 10:37Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And so, it's been interesting to witness the evolution of this going through the last 45, 50 years plus.
- 10:46Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Yes, I'm old.
- 10:47Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And being able to thread this through Western medicine has been interesting as well.
- 10:54Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Because I, you know, everywhere you go, here you are.
- 10:57Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So the intuitiveness was always with me wherever I went.
- 11:01Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And things would, it would be eye openers for a lot of people.
- 11:05Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And I think they would realize that there's other things going on than what, We could put in a box and describe it with a nice little bow as evidence based because a lot of stuff that we know is true.
- 11:17Dr. Dolores Fazzino: We don't have the capability of measuring that right now.
- 11:20Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Okay.
- 11:21Dr. Dolores Fazzino: We, and it's the truth.
- 11:21Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Yeah.
- 11:22Tom: It could be, some energy can be measured within the body though, can it not?
- 11:27Dr. Dolores Fazzino: True.
- 11:27Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Very true.
- 11:28Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Like color, colorian photography and stuff like that.
- 11:31Dr. Dolores Fazzino: You could look at that and there's been stuff and it's actually advancing more and more, but it's still lags behind.
- 11:38Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Where we really are, because I think what happens is that we know these things.
- 11:43Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And a lot of us have come in from other times and places in this lifetime to bring our tools and gifts to assist humanity and earth in its Ascension process and raising the vibration and frequency here.
- 11:55Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So there's things that a lot of people know that we just don't have that capability to measure yet.
- 12:02Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And quantum physics has been very assistive with that.
- 12:05Dr. Dolores Fazzino: That's like that whole new branch that opened the gateway for all of that to happen.
- 12:09Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So it's been awesome witnessing this.
- 12:11Dr. Dolores Fazzino: I'm still working in the clinical setting part time.
- 12:15Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And as as an assistant surgeon, I assistant surgical procedures and I've been doing that, I would say for the last 30 plus years of my career.
- 12:23Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And just being able to be there and just witnessing miracles and transformations and transmutations and healings and stuff like that, which is pretty incredible.
- 12:35Tom: So what type of people do you work with then in terms of the medical intuitive work that you do in entertainment?
- 12:41Dr. Dolores Fazzino: You know, it's all, it varies.
- 12:43Dr. Dolores Fazzino: There's, you know, I've worked with the whole gamut, people who are really chronically ill to people who are going through their spiritual awakening, as I call that, and that is where life had been working really well up until a certain point, then it's almost as if what had been working before is no longer working for them.
- 13:01Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Because it's like they've, the focus has been turned from being outward focused into inward focus where it's time to have a relationship with yourself and to learn how to love, appreciate and value and respect yourself.
- 13:14Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Whereas before a lot of that we gave our power away to something outside ourselves.
- 13:19Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So it's really about.
- 13:21Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And it's basically, I teach the same thing, whether or not a person has a chronic illness, or they just want to make a life change, because it's basically the same.
- 13:28Tom: And so it, do you combine both Western medicine?
- 13:32Tom: Cause you are, you know, you're a trained nurse practitioner as well.
- 13:36Tom: And so combine the two modalities based on what the person ultimate goal is?
- 13:43Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Absolutely.
- 13:44Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And I want to also add this, is that I also teach people how to grow, learn, and trust their intuitive abilities, because this is our innate wisdom we are born with.
- 13:57Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And then we have been pro, we've been deprogrammed by being born to ignore that, not trust it, and to give our power away to something external instead of trusting that internal wisdom.
- 14:08Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Each one of us has the capability to heal ourselves.
- 14:12Dr. Dolores Fazzino: We're wired that way.
- 14:13Dr. Dolores Fazzino: We're wired that way.
- 14:14Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Yet, we don't trust that.
- 14:16Dr. Dolores Fazzino: We don't know how to access that.
- 14:18Dr. Dolores Fazzino: We forgot how to access that.
- 14:20Dr. Dolores Fazzino: We've been sometimes dummied down to not access that.
- 14:23Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And it's about having a renaissance and coming back to self and rediscovering who you are, having a relationship with yourself because the longest relationship you'll ever have in your life is the one you have yourself.
- 14:36Dr. Dolores Fazzino: It's like, so how's that going?
- 14:38Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Are you feeding and nurturing it?
- 14:40Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Are you beating it to a pulp?
- 14:42Dr. Dolores Fazzino: I mean, some of the things we say to ourselves in the quiet of our mind are very unkind, know, but you know, here we are, we have this beautiful vessel.
- 14:51Dr. Dolores Fazzino: It's 75 percent water and you know, how we label water sometimes with the change, the frequency.
- 14:57Dr. Dolores Fazzino: What are you labeling your container with?
- 14:59Tom: Yeah good questions to ask, you know, for sure.
- 15:02Tom: Yeah.
- 15:02Tom: To people to really be thinking about that as well and taking control of their own health as well.
- 15:07Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Absolutely.
- 15:08Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And you know, that's what it's really all about right now because many, and you know, I could say this because I'm Western medicine trained and I've witnessed this even personally.
- 15:16Dr. Dolores Fazzino: It's like people will listen to what a doctor has to say, even though their body's screaming at them, don't do it.
- 15:22Dr. Dolores Fazzino: But they think that just because that this person has more education and wisdom, they know.
- 15:27Dr. Dolores Fazzino: No, they know for the gamut of the population, you as an individual, your body knows what it can handle and what it cannot.
- 15:35Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And if something is not in alignment and you're hearing something and you're not leaning into it, please don't do it because you'll live to regret it.
- 15:42Tom: A hundred percent.
- 15:43Tom: So kind of shifting gears to the business side of it, because I can imagine.
- 15:47Tom: You know, the seventies, eighties, nineties, trying to combine the energy work along with the Western medicine work that you're doing, that there's probably a little bit of a challenge creating a business around that.
- 16:00Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Well, you know, I had to keep it in separate so to say, for a very long time.
- 16:05Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So I would do the nursing part, and then I would have a completely different practice where I was doing the energy stuff.
- 16:11Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And it wasn't until probably the last 20 years that I kind of married the two together because I felt that it was time, even though it was a still premature my mom used to say, you can't tell people what you as just like, you know what?
- 16:24Dr. Dolores Fazzino: I don't care anymore.
- 16:25Dr. Dolores Fazzino: I'm not being my true authentic self.
- 16:27Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So I decided to, you know, sometimes when you are your true authentic self, you're not going to be friends with everybody.
- 16:35Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Okay.
- 16:35Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Because not everybody, you're not going to be for everybody.
- 16:38Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And you know what?
- 16:39Dr. Dolores Fazzino: That's okay.
- 16:40Dr. Dolores Fazzino: They're not your peeps.
- 16:40Tom: Exactly.
- 16:41Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So don't try to convince them that they are because they're not your right?
- 16:45Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So when you come from that standpoint and you know energetically that, okay, where, you know, it's like allowing the energy and the flow to be part of that instead of trying to go against that and pushing a boulder up a hill.
- 16:59Tom: Now did the business side of it ever feel like pushing a boulder up the hill, like
- 17:04Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Oh, yes it did.
- 17:05Tom: just the whole business side?
- 17:06Dr. Dolores Fazzino: It did because it was like, you know, you take, you don't have a lot of business savvy, so you take classes and the model at that time was very like push push up the hill, you know, turn every rock over.
- 17:18Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And it's just like, it was bloody exhaustive.
- 17:21Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And yeah, okay.
- 17:22Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Yes, you have temporary success, but it's not lasting.
- 17:26Tom: And do you find
- 17:26Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Okay.
- 17:27Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And now.
- 17:27Tom: combining that with the heart led piece of it, that now it's in alignment and can last a lot longer?
- 17:33Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Oh my gosh, yes.
- 17:34Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So the thing is, it's like learning how to use your intuition as well, okay, your inner guidance.
- 17:42Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So it's about marrying, I'm going to say, doing and being together, okay, where it's more like you're going to start in the being part versus the doing part.
- 17:53Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And what I mean by that is like when you're being, you're fully present in the moment, you're in your body, okay, you are heart centered, okay, you're, everything is, and when you're in that point in the moment, this is where you get those little nudges from the universe, your intuition, because you're quiet enough and in the moment, that's where you need to experience that.
- 18:16Dr. Dolores Fazzino: This is where you also get to feel.
- 18:18Dr. Dolores Fazzino: You have to be in your physical body to feel.
- 18:21Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Okay, so, and feeling is an innate part of that intuition and the inner wisdom that we have.
- 18:28Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So, you would maybe get a divine, I call them divine downloads.
- 18:31Dr. Dolores Fazzino: You get those intuitive hits like, Oh, I should probably call Mary today.
- 18:35Dr. Dolores Fazzino: I don't know why I need to call Mary, but I'm going to call her.
- 18:37Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So, you go into divine doing.
- 18:39Dr. Dolores Fazzino: You call Mary.
- 18:40Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Mary, you know, starts chatting with you and says, I've been wanting to talk to you for a while because I need to introduce you to somebody that I think would be a good fit for you.
- 18:49Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So she makes the introduction and it has a piece of your business that you need.
- 18:54Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Okay.
- 18:55Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And then you go back into divine doing.
- 18:57Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So you, it's like the infinity sign on its side with the two poles of doing or being and doing, okay.
- 19:05Dr. Dolores Fazzino: We need both, but I think for so long, we've been programmed that we've been lopsided with the doing part.
- 19:11Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And I think it's caused a lot of people, a lot of stress, a lot of anxiety, a lot of sickness and illness and unwellness and And, you know, a lot of drama and adds a lot to collective consciousness, which is so noisy right now.
- 19:25Dr. Dolores Fazzino: The next last thing you want to be doing is inundating somebody's email with three emails a week about what you're doing and trying to promote yourself.
- 19:33Dr. Dolores Fazzino: It's too much noise.
- 19:34Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Way too much noise.
- 19:35Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And it's counterproductive, because you know what those people will do?
- 19:38Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Delete delete, delete, and they won't go.
- 19:39Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Unsubscribe.
- 19:40Dr. Dolores Fazzino: People don't understand that.
- 19:42Dr. Dolores Fazzino: They say, oh, people need to be touched 30 or 60 times.
- 19:45Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Bullshit.
- 19:45Dr. Dolores Fazzino: If I'm touched once and I'm not interested, bye bye, you're out of here.
- 19:49Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Don't people understand that?
- 19:50Dr. Dolores Fazzino: No, they don't.
- 19:52Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So you need to go back to just being and allowing and receiving because everything we need and want is there for us.
- 19:59Dr. Dolores Fazzino: The big picture is that it's vibrating at a higher frequency up here.
- 20:04Dr. Dolores Fazzino: You may be here.
- 20:05Dr. Dolores Fazzino: How do you access this?
- 20:07Dr. Dolores Fazzino: You work on yourself and raise your frequency.
- 20:09Dr. Dolores Fazzino: You work So it matches that.
- 20:11Tom: Yeah.
- 20:11Tom: I've always found when I'm busy doing that it's very little actually gets done and it's in those times of quiet meditation or going for a walk or just being outside of the office and what have you that the inspiration comes or the opportunities are presented to us.
- 20:31Tom: And you know, I always think that the opportunities are always around us.
- 20:35Tom: It's just how in tune are we to actually notice those opportunities and accept those and go for it.
- 20:42Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Very true.
- 20:42Dr. Dolores Fazzino: That's it's a truth.
- 20:43Dr. Dolores Fazzino: It's a whole different way and modality of creating a business and just accessing it because I've had both experiences in my thirties.
- 20:51Dr. Dolores Fazzino: I was in the doing mode and pushed something up the hill and ended up sacrificing my health because of that.
- 20:57Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So I decided I needed to do something different and it's actually been way better than you could imagine because you're in the flow of things, it's less work.
- 21:08Dr. Dolores Fazzino: It's less people say, Oh, I don't have enough time.
- 21:11Dr. Dolores Fazzino: I have boundless amounts of time now to do whatever.
- 21:14Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And, you know, and to choose how I want to show up and, you know, work on myself and integrate that in, because I feel that's all, when you're a solopreneur, you're it, you're the brand.
- 21:25Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So how are you leading by example?
- 21:26Tom: Yeah.
- 21:27Tom: Now, were you in business for yourself in the 30, in your thirties as well?
- 21:31Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Yeah.
- 21:31Tom: So the income potential that you had then versus the income potential that you have now, and the different thought process, obviously from your thirties to now what does that look like in terms of just like,
- 21:42Dr. Dolores Fazzino: You know, it was interesting because, you know, 30 years ago was another time and place.
- 21:47Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So things were a lot different than what they are now.
- 21:49Dr. Dolores Fazzino: I think the focus was a lot different as well because it was push push, and, you know, create make, and, you know, financial reward.
- 21:57Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Now as, you know, I've gotten wiser over the years and I'm much older the priorities are a little different.
- 22:04Dr. Dolores Fazzino: It's about, you know, for me, it's about making a difference in people's lives and teaching them tools that are going to allow them to thrive in uncharted times and a lot of uncertainty.
- 22:16Tom: And definitely now there's definitely a lot of uncertainty.
- 22:20Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Oh my god.
- 22:21Dr. Dolores Fazzino: There it is.
- 22:21Dr. Dolores Fazzino: You know, and so if you could become certain within yourself, it doesn't matter what's happening around you.
- 22:27Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So that's the key piece right there.
- 22:29Tom: So this has been just a fascinating conversation and just very interesting to me.
- 22:33Tom: And the dichotomy between kind of the Western medicine and the energy work that you're doing.
- 22:38Tom: I think that's really interesting just how you've made a business out of it and done well doing that.
- 22:42Tom: So thanks for sharing.
- 22:43Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Yeah, thank you.
- 22:44Tom: How can people learn more about what you're doing and get in touch with you?
- 22:48Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Sure.
- 22:49Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Thanks, Tom.
- 22:49Dr. Dolores Fazzino: I could be reached through my website.
- 22:51Dr. Dolores Fazzino: My website is drdoloresfazzino.com and you could just reach out to me at dolores@drdoloresfazzino.com.
- 23:00Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Now, if people come to my website, I have a free guided meditation to, allows people to stay in the present moment.
- 23:08Dr. Dolores Fazzino: It's a short five minute thing, but it's, I think it's really essential because many of us are not in the present moment and have no clue of what that feels like to be in the present moment.
- 23:17Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So this will give you a taste of what that's like.
- 23:19Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Additionally too, I also have a program called I'm Awake Now What?
- 23:24Dr. Dolores Fazzino: It's for people who have woken up because we have three waves of people who are awake, people who are awakening, or waking up and people who are still asleep.
- 23:33Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And there's a lot of people who are waking up right now because of circumstances in their lives that have kind of triggered them into that.
- 23:40Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Okay.
- 23:40Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Maybe life had been working well for them externally.
- 23:43Dr. Dolores Fazzino: And then all of a sudden the rug got pulled out from them.
- 23:46Dr. Dolores Fazzino: They either lost a job lost a relationship.
- 23:48Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Things are changing and evolving yet.
- 23:50Dr. Dolores Fazzino: They have this, they know that, but they just don't, know what to do.
- 23:53Dr. Dolores Fazzino: They feel alone.
- 23:54Dr. Dolores Fazzino: They're lost.
- 23:55Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So it's a membership community that offers support resources.
- 23:59Dr. Dolores Fazzino: We have a monthly Zoom call and it's recorded and it's a community as well.
- 24:03Dr. Dolores Fazzino: So it's for like minded people who are going through some major challenges.
- 24:07Tom: Nice.
- 24:08Tom: Well, thanks for sharing that.
- 24:09Tom: And definitely for sharing your story today as well.
- 24:12Tom: And for being on the show, I really appreciate it.
- 24:14Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Thank you.
- 24:14Dr. Dolores Fazzino: Appreciate it too.
- 24:15Tom: No worries.
- 24:16Tom: Thank you listeners for watching the show or listening to the show, depending on what platform you're on.
- 24:20Tom: I really appreciate it.
- 24:21Tom: And I know Dolores appreciates you as well.
- 24:23Tom: We're going to link up all those resources that Dolores has shared with you in the show notes.
- 24:28Tom: So make sure you're checking that out.
- 24:30Tom: And you know, take advantage of that meditation, that guided meditation for sure, that everybody needs to be present, so, and slow down and get stuff done.
- 24:38Tom: And if you could do me a short little favor, and that would be just hit that little subscribe button and do a little rating and review of the show that really helps kind of spread the word and helps people find the show and learn more about heart led businesses like Dolores's.
