  Speaker 2: heart that basically got me involved liking the paranormal. And

  Speaker 3: I didn't really know it was.

  Speaker 2: I happened to stumbling across this movie when I went

  Speaker 2: over to my friend's house with me, my sister, my cousins,

  Speaker 2: my other friends in summer is. We were swimming and

  Speaker 2: and she goes, hey, you know, let's go watch Let's
• 2:47
  Speaker 2: watch a movie. You know, I've got a you know,
• 2:50
  Speaker 2: a tape. Well back then it shows me how my
• 2:55
  Speaker 2: age is. I've got a video tape of a wonderful.

  Speaker 3: Movie.

  Speaker 2: Let's watch it together. And now, of course you got

  Speaker 2: you know, I was back in eighty four, eighty five,

  Speaker 2: and and now let's say blown up to.

  Speaker 2: It's being you know, new breath of fresh air, you know,

  Speaker 2: being brought into it.

  Speaker 2: talk about this today. Yes, it is now the new

  Speaker 2: Ghostbusters Frizen Empire. But what were you back in eighty

  Speaker 2: four when the original ghost Posters hit the theater? You know,

  Speaker 2: I haven't you know, I didn't really uh saw it
• 4:09
  Speaker 2: in theater. I saw it on VHS, like I said,
• 4:17
  Speaker 2: And but after that I fell in love with it.

  Speaker 2: That's what helped me get into loving the paranormal. I mean,
• 4:27
  Speaker 2: here's you know, three scientists that you know, they're you know,
• 4:34
  Speaker 2: stumbling around trying to you know, do a different fields.
• 4:42
  Speaker 2: You have Peter Bateman who's a psychiatrist, a psychologist, and
• 4:49
  Speaker 2: and uh parapsychologists and Egan is you know normals fields
• 4:58
  Speaker 2: raised got normal numerous fields as well, and they're trying
• 5:06
  Speaker 2: to three buddies trying to you know, make a life
• 5:11
  Speaker 2: in the university. And you know when you first open
• 5:18
  Speaker 2: up in the movie, you know, you start out in
• 5:21
  Speaker 2: the public library and you never know what was gonna go.
• 5:27
  Speaker 2: You just see a little librarian walking down and doing
• 5:34
  Speaker 2: her business, you know, carrying books and putting things back.
• 5:38
  Speaker 2: And you see her climbing down the stairs with a
• 5:42
  Speaker 2: couple of books in hand, and as she went to
• 5:46
  Speaker 2: the shelves, and I'll start all a sudden, you start
• 5:51
  Speaker 2: seeing books fly right behind her, going from shelf to shelf,
• 5:59
  Speaker 2: and and she looks back and nothing happens. She thinks, Okay,
• 6:04
  Speaker 2: nothing's going on here. Maybe it's just my imagination, and
• 6:08
  Speaker 2: you know, it's a little spooky down here. Well then
• 6:11
  Speaker 2: she keeps walking and all of a sudden, you know,
• 6:15
  Speaker 2: before computers, ladies and gentlemen, we had drawers that pulled out,
• 6:20
  Speaker 2: and you had to find your books by index card.
• 6:26
  Speaker 2: Whatever you're looking at, you like, say, Ghostbusters, you know,
• 6:31
  Speaker 2: look at the g then gh.
• 6:34
  Speaker 3: Then you find it.
• 6:36
  Speaker 2: Then it tells you, well it's on you know, third shelf,
• 6:42
  Speaker 2: number seven eighty nine whatever, And so you go to
• 6:47
  Speaker 2: the bookshelf. If you find it, all these cards start
• 6:51
  Speaker 2: pulling out by themselves, and started looked like something just
• 6:56
  Speaker 2: started to pull them straight out of the you know,
• 7:00
  Speaker 2: the holders, you know, just flying straight up. And she
• 7:04
  Speaker 2: ends up seeing them flying straight up, look like you know,
• 7:08
  Speaker 2: just you know, somebody taking a blower to him, you know,
• 7:12
  Speaker 2: and just flip them up in the air, and it
• 7:15
  Speaker 2: scares her.
• 7:17
  Speaker 3: And she runs runs around and all of.
• 7:21
  Speaker 2: A sudden, you see her stop here, you know, something
• 7:25
  Speaker 2: going around, you know, and and uh then the intro
• 7:31
  Speaker 2: music you know, comes up and you see that the
• 7:36
  Speaker 2: ghost with the circle with the sash, you know, coming
• 7:40
  Speaker 2: around it. Then you start seeing you know, the boys
• 7:47
  Speaker 2: doing their stuff. You know, you see Peter with a
• 7:54
  Speaker 2: trying to hit on a girl and and uh, he's
• 7:57
  Speaker 2: doing an experiment with cards, and it's kind of funny
• 8:03
  Speaker 2: because he's got a boy and a girl in there,
• 8:06
  Speaker 2: and and uh, they're they're hooked up to electric shock
• 8:12
  Speaker 2: treatment machine and they're trying to see how her psychic
• 8:17
  Speaker 2: ability is. And you know, she's got every card wrong
• 8:21
  Speaker 2: and he's trying the best he could and every time
• 8:25
  Speaker 2: he gets it wrong, he gets that, but she don't.
• 8:28
  Speaker 3: And he's tell he's getting hit, you know, he's hitting
• 8:32
  Speaker 3: on her.
• 8:33
  Speaker 2: And then Ray comes in and busts up you know
• 8:36
  Speaker 2: his uh you know, previous his engagement and and uh
• 8:44
  Speaker 2: they go and meet Egon at the library and and
• 8:52
  Speaker 2: they try to find this, uh, this thing that was
• 8:58
  Speaker 2: scaring this poor librarian as his library, and you know
• 9:02
  Speaker 2: a couple of questions and you get that, you know,
• 9:10
  Speaker 2: answer that. Peter, Peter Bikman says a back off man,
• 9:13
  Speaker 2: I'm a scientist. Then they Egon tells him it's it's
• 9:19
  Speaker 2: cook it's it's a movement. It's really hot downstairs, and
• 9:25
  Speaker 2: they go in. They uh they find uh book stacks
• 9:32
  Speaker 2: straight up. Then they uh, you know, one bookshelf falls on,
• 9:39
  Speaker 2: you know falls and then they see the the first
• 9:44
  Speaker 2: sign of ectoplasmic residue, you know, looks like you know,
• 9:50
  Speaker 2: it's not you know it, Uh tells Banateman Egon, tells
• 9:55
  Speaker 2: bakeman to get a sample and and uh then.
• 10:03
  Speaker 3: They end up.
• 10:06
  Speaker 2: Coming across it and uh as a ghostly figure of
• 10:13
  Speaker 2: an old lady and uh little background this lady was
• 10:23
  Speaker 2: a librarian back in the thirties and forties, and doesn't
• 10:29
  Speaker 2: really tell you about the background until if you're you know,
• 10:36
  Speaker 2: get the Ghostbuster game I came out after basically it
• 10:42
  Speaker 2: was they were saying, it was like what would have been,
• 10:44
  Speaker 2: what would the third one would have been? If you know,
• 10:47
  Speaker 2: everyone was there the video game it's a Ghostbusters video game.
• 10:53
  Speaker 2: They're saying that basically was Ghostbusters three. It's sow what
• 10:58
  Speaker 2: should you know? In the movie we should be And
• 11:03
  Speaker 2: it tells you the backstory that this librarian was doing
• 11:08
  Speaker 2: her job and she gets uh seduced by evil Shandor
• 11:16
  Speaker 2: and basically evil shandor uh.
• 11:22
  Speaker 3: Got uh.
• 11:23
  Speaker 2: You know, she was hiding, you know, with some dark
• 11:26
  Speaker 2: books behind you know, lock and key, and he seduced
• 11:31
  Speaker 2: her and pretty much kills her, you know, sacrifices her.
• 11:35
  Speaker 2: And that's how she comes to Ghost or the the
• 11:38
  Speaker 2: you know, the great ghost whatever they call him, and
• 11:44
  Speaker 2: uh and her spirit goes in there, so you know,
• 11:50
  Speaker 2: she's still librarian. Well, they're trying for out how to
• 11:55
  Speaker 2: communicate with it, and they're like, well, we need to communicate,
• 12:00
  Speaker 2: We need to you know, try to get someone to
• 12:04
  Speaker 2: you know, talk to it. Well basically it's like rock
• 12:09
  Speaker 2: paper scissors or you know, one two three, not it,
• 12:13
  Speaker 2: you know, And basically Vateman ends up starting and ask her,
• 12:19
  Speaker 2: you know, hey, how are you doing? You know, what's
• 12:24
  Speaker 2: your name? Well, she turns around and it gives her,
• 12:29
  Speaker 2: it gives him that line that you know sh.
• 12:35
  Speaker 3: Sound, the hush sound.
• 12:38
  Speaker 2: Then he goes back and raised like, wait a minute,
• 12:41
  Speaker 2: am I have an idea? So he goes like, okay, everybody,
• 12:48
  Speaker 2: stay calm, do what I say. Then he's like, you know,
• 12:53
  Speaker 2: let's get her, you know, and then she turns into
• 12:56
  Speaker 2: a hideous monster you know, ghost form and scares the
• 13:00
  Speaker 2: crap out of them and they could end up running
• 13:03
  Speaker 2: out of the library, and you know it was you
• 13:07
  Speaker 2: know scientific, you know, you never know the first counter
• 13:10
  Speaker 2: of ghosts. And then they find out that, you know,
• 13:15
  Speaker 2: they have no job at the university. They got kicked out,
• 13:19
  Speaker 2: and then uh, they went into busin themselves and you know,
• 13:25
  Speaker 2: formed the Ghostbusters and uh, you know it teld you
• 13:31
  Speaker 2: know they got that to how they got that to
• 13:34
  Speaker 2: one and you know, Janine joins them a little bit
• 13:38
  Speaker 2: later as a secretary, and and uh, in the meantime,
• 13:44
  Speaker 2: we got Dana Barrett, who's you know, just living a
• 13:49
  Speaker 2: normal life in a in a penthouse, you know, in uh,
• 13:53
  Speaker 2: you know, a penthouse apartment whatever, and uh, you know,
• 13:59
  Speaker 2: just go in their normal life. And you know, you
• 14:04
  Speaker 2: guy Lewis Totley, their next door neighbor, who's you know,
• 14:09
  Speaker 2: trying to esquare with her, and she won't have nothing
• 14:12
  Speaker 2: to do with them. And he gets locked out of
• 14:15
  Speaker 2: his house and tells me why he turned into your
• 14:17
  Speaker 2: TV on his full blast, and well, she enters her
• 14:22
  Speaker 2: apartment and goes into the kitchen to put stuff away,
• 14:29
  Speaker 2: and all of a sudden he starts seeing the eggs
• 14:33
  Speaker 2: flapping up, flap open, then all of a sudden, the
• 14:36
  Speaker 2: eggs burst on the counter and start cooking and in
• 14:44
  Speaker 2: a strange noises in the refrigerator, and you find your
• 14:53
  Speaker 2: first taste or your first view of one of the
• 14:58
  Speaker 2: tear dogs go the terror Dogs of ghost there and
• 15:03
  Speaker 2: that was Zuel. And she shuts the door real fast
• 15:07
  Speaker 2: and ends up you know, seeing the You know that
• 15:15
  Speaker 2: she saw the television add up for the Ghostbusters, so
• 15:20
  Speaker 2: she ends up going to see them, and and Peter
• 15:24
  Speaker 2: goes over there and tries to you know, see it,
• 15:27
  Speaker 2: and nothing's happened, and you know, and you know, that
• 15:33
  Speaker 2: was it for a little bit, you know, nothing really happening.
• 15:37
  Speaker 2: Then uh, you know, then they you know, eat and
• 15:42
  Speaker 2: there you know, they you know, they were talking about
• 15:46
  Speaker 2: the well. Of course Peter falls in love with her
• 15:50
  Speaker 2: and and uh so they they're eating Chinese food and
• 15:58
  Speaker 2: one you know, all do you know, extra cash whatever,
• 16:02
  Speaker 2: and all of a sudden they got Janine picks up
• 16:06
  Speaker 2: the phone and and.
• 16:09
  Speaker 3: Uh they head for the old.
• 16:11
  Speaker 2: Setua hotel, you know, and Janine hits the alarm and
• 16:15
  Speaker 2: then we got one and and they speed out with
• 16:19
  Speaker 2: the actor one going to Sedgewick and that's where you
• 16:24
  Speaker 2: end up first appearance of Slimmer.
• 16:28
  Speaker 3: You know, and.
• 16:30
  Speaker 2: They end up having a battle with him. Slimmer tackles, Uh,
• 16:36
  Speaker 2: Peter signed them pretty good, and they pretty much trap
• 16:41
  Speaker 2: him in the ballroom, destroyed the ballroom, and find a
• 16:45
  Speaker 2: couple of do a find out there, you know, do
• 16:49
  Speaker 2: not you know, a couple of safety tips, don't cross
• 16:53
  Speaker 2: the streams, and and uh, you know, please you know
• 16:57
  Speaker 2: watch you know, please shorten your dam if you are
• 17:01
  Speaker 2: and and Seimer is the very first ghost that caught
• 17:06
  Speaker 2: and uh and eventually you know, they do research on
• 17:12
  Speaker 2: you know, Zeul and and uh and the Ghoser and
• 17:20
  Speaker 2: and all of a sudden, you know, things start happening again,
• 17:23
  Speaker 2: and and they capture more ghosts, and you know, their
• 17:27
  Speaker 2: business is booming. They you know, wouldn't you know, wouldn't believe.
• 17:32
  Speaker 2: And then he got z Moore coming in. Winston said,
• 17:36
  Speaker 2: Moore come, you know, looking for a job. He gets hired,
• 17:40
  Speaker 2: and uh, they find out that, you know, the Containment
• 17:47
  Speaker 2: Union's getting a little packed in there, and and uh,
• 17:52
  Speaker 2: Egan tells him that us about the size of a twinkie,
• 17:58
  Speaker 2: about you know, so big by so big, and uh
• 18:06
  Speaker 2: it's getting massive, and then uh, you know, later on
• 18:12
  Speaker 2: you get the tar Dogs again in full form, and
• 18:16
  Speaker 2: first they end up getting Dana, you know.
• 18:20
  Speaker 3: On the date and uh.
• 18:23
  Speaker 2: Then uh later uh here and you get Vince Corthos.
• 18:30
  Speaker 3: Uh.
• 18:31
  Speaker 2: The other tar dog chases after Lewis Tolley and he
• 18:37
  Speaker 2: gets transformed. And at the end, you know, they they
• 18:43
  Speaker 2: find goes her and it's not a man or she,
• 18:47
  Speaker 2: you know, it's whatever wants to be.
• 18:50
  Speaker 3: They battle with her or.
• 18:52
  Speaker 2: It and or they and uh you know, and they

  Speaker 2: conjure a big old giant marshmallow man stay puff marshmallow Man,

  Speaker 2: and they end up proachting it and oh yeah, and
• 19:11
  Speaker 2: they end up getting shut down by Walter Peck because EPA,

  Speaker 2: because these things there's Norris gas and they go see
• 19:21
  Speaker 2: the uh the mayor and everything.

  Speaker 3: But that's a little side story.
• 19:26
  Speaker 2: But they end up conjuring uh stay puffed and and
• 19:31
  Speaker 2: uh and one hundred gallons of marshmallow dumped on Peck
• 19:36
  Speaker 2: and you know, and they saved the day and everything
• 19:42
  Speaker 2: and we'll uh half a high rise off you know,
• 19:48
  Speaker 2: apartment complex and but they save you know, whatever they
• 19:53
  Speaker 2: could and.
• 19:55
  Speaker 3: And uh and that was it.
• 19:59
  Speaker 2: But you know, Ghostbusters was that was the first time
• 20:04
  Speaker 2: I saw Ghostbusters was really awesome, and then you had
• 20:08
  Speaker 2: the cartoon, then you had Ghostbusters too. Then you know,
• 20:15
  Speaker 2: they had the video games. Video games were great. Then
• 20:19
  Speaker 2: you had answered the call they had they rebooted it,
• 20:24
  Speaker 2: but it was all Women's Ghostbusters, which was pretty cool.

  Speaker 2: And you see, you know, cameo appearances by other ones
• 20:32
  Speaker 2: that they weren't there. Weren't you know, the other characters
• 20:37
  Speaker 2: you fell in love with. They you know, they had
• 20:40
  Speaker 2: you know, Bill Murray and Dan akera you know them,
• 20:43
  Speaker 2: but they were playing different people they were playing. Uh,
• 20:50
  Speaker 2: Dan Charade was a cabby.
• 20:52
  Speaker 3: He had.
• 20:54
  Speaker 2: Bill Murray as a skeptic and he ended up and
• 21:00
  Speaker 2: he ends up releasing a ghost, ends up throwing out
• 21:04
  Speaker 2: the window and he dies. And any pots or who
• 21:09
  Speaker 2: plays Janine is is the hotel manager of the sedge
• 21:16
  Speaker 2: of a hotel. And uh, you know it was pretty
• 21:21
  Speaker 2: cool though. Women's Castle was pretty good. You know a
• 21:24
  Speaker 2: lot of people you know gave it feeling grave, but
• 21:28
  Speaker 2: it was pretty cool though. Then uh, then after Life
• 21:33
  Speaker 2: was really good. You know he had they did as
• 21:36
  Speaker 2: for Harald when he passed away, and and that was
• 21:40
  Speaker 2: tereary eyed when you saw four Herald on the end.
• 21:44
  Speaker 2: Then now you have Afterlife, and I can't wait till
• 21:48
  Speaker 2: we see After Life and it's gonna be a really
• 21:53
  Speaker 2: great Oh he had Ghostbusters two after you had Ghostbusters
• 22:02
  Speaker 2: are then the real Ghostbusters cartoon. Then you had Ghostbusters too.

  Speaker 2: That was cool because you had different I mean it
• 22:13
  Speaker 2: was like five years later for the first one. Then
• 22:19
  Speaker 2: you know, then you had a spiritual painting and the
• 22:24
  Speaker 2: pink mood slime. But that was pretty cool, and uh,
• 22:30
  Speaker 2: a lot of people take it or leave it, but
• 22:32
  Speaker 2: it was still cool. It's still Ghostbusters. And now you
• 22:36
  Speaker 2: got the newest one now they have is Frozen Empire,
• 22:44
  Speaker 2: and it's bringing everyone back and plus after Life, you
• 22:47
  Speaker 2: know this Bangler family, and it's gonna be I can't
• 22:51
  Speaker 2: wait to see it. I hope everyone gets to see it.
• 22:54
  Speaker 2: And you know, this start off of my you know,
• 22:59
  Speaker 2: experience of being into the paranormal, because you know, I
• 23:05
  Speaker 2: loved the movie and researching and stuff like that, watching
• 23:09
  Speaker 2: other you know, ghost shows, and and uh that's how
• 23:17
  Speaker 2: I end up enjoying it. And I can't wait to
• 23:20
  Speaker 2: see the Ghostbusters Frozen Empire, and I thought i'd like
• 23:27
  Speaker 2: to share with this being you know, the Ghostbusters week
• 23:32
  Speaker 2: of enjoying you know, after Life coming out, and I'm
• 23:39
  Speaker 2: gonna go see it. I'm gonna put my I think
• 23:47
  Speaker 2: my wife's gonna wear one of my shirts. I'm gonna
• 23:49
  Speaker 2: I made a jump suit, my jumpsuit I'm gonna put
• 23:53
  Speaker 2: on for the pre know, for the movie, and it's
• 23:58
  Speaker 2: gonna be really cool. And you know, drop me a
