- 0:05Speaker 1: Drama Darling, Drama, Darling Drama Darling.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Hello everybody, welcome back into drama Darling. You know what
- 0:23Speaker 2: it is Wednesday, which means it's Ladies of London and
- 0:27Speaker 2: below deck down under day. Ladies of London is quickly actually,
- 0:32Speaker 2: Ladies of London is quickly taking over the bravosphere. So
- 0:37Speaker 2: we are going to talk about it. EMILYE. Dereesis is
- 0:39Speaker 2: joining from Chili, Maryland, and I am in ninety degree
- 0:43Speaker 2: weather here in Santa Clarita. Is that crazy? Like it's
- 0:49Speaker 2: snowing in Michigan. It was snowing in Michigan. My parents
- 0:52Speaker 2: sent me a picture and I was like, is that
- 0:53Speaker 2: snow on the ground.
- 0:54Speaker 3: Yeah, And it's very cold here in Maryland. I'm saying
- 0:58Speaker 3: everywhere else but California is freezing.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Yes, it sure is. So I mean thoughts and warm
- 1:04Speaker 2: vibes to you all, and I'm so sorry, and quite honestly,
- 1:08Speaker 2: I'm not much I'm not much better off. It was
- 1:11Speaker 2: like almost one hundred degrees and it's been through this
- 1:15Speaker 2: heat wave and it's just so uncomfortable. It's just too soon,
- 1:19Speaker 2: too soon for us, too late for you guys. What
- 1:22Speaker 2: a nutty, nutty time in our lives. You know what
- 1:25Speaker 2: I'm saying, I do deer, don't chat, don't chat. Well,
- 1:30Speaker 2: why don't we welcome ourselves in to a recap of
- 1:35Speaker 2: the ladies of London. Okay, yes, hello, welcome in. H
- 1:42Speaker 2: Why doesn't Kimmy have a stronger British accent? I noticed
- 1:46Speaker 2: in this episode. I was like, oh, wow, her accent
- 1:49Speaker 2: is not that strong. And I don't know if it's
- 1:51Speaker 2: because she spent time. Yeah, maybe because she lived.
- 1:55Speaker 3: With her dad in Haiti?
- 1:56Speaker 2: Was it right?
- 1:58Speaker 3: And so maybe that was Maybe that's it, But I I.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Did you notice that?
- 2:03Speaker 4: That's it?
- 2:04Speaker 2: No, you'll notice it now that I pointed it out.
- 2:07Speaker 2: But me, what.
- 2:09Speaker 3: I do love an impression you famously will invox.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Oh my, oh my goodness, gracious, how dare you? Yes,
- 2:23Speaker 2: so I did. That's one thing I noticed. And but
- 2:26Speaker 2: now jumping into this episode, which I believe is episode three, okay,
- 2:31Speaker 2: and I love that we got into like the areas
- 2:35Speaker 2: where they live, because I know nothing about London town,
- 2:39Speaker 2: you know, and the surrounding areas, and I know you
- 2:41Speaker 2: are familiar.
- 2:43Speaker 3: So we found out that No, no, I am not
- 2:45Speaker 3: familiar with London at all.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Oh dear Scott, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, guys, We've got
- 2:52Speaker 2: to go. I booked the wrong Emily, really I thought
- 2:58Speaker 2: that you did.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Though, I mean, I'm vaguely okay, that's not near this maybe,
- 3:05Speaker 3: but no, please not rely. And also, don't rely on
- 3:08Speaker 3: my sense of direction for pretty much anything. I have
- 3:10Speaker 3: a terrible sense of direction.
- 3:12Speaker 2: You got it, Okay, So Kimmy lives in Belgravia, Well
- 3:18Speaker 2: but she did, and now she lives in Chelsea. Sorry,
- 3:22Speaker 2: I did that backwards. And that's a fluent. I like that.
- 3:25Speaker 2: They put it up there, a fluent. And then Mark
- 3:28Speaker 2: in Knightsbridge luxury, and Lottie in Islington and Hackney artsy
- 3:36Speaker 2: Noddy and then they little just a side note that
- 3:38Speaker 2: Nodding Hill is Boho chic, which I did not know.
- 3:42Speaker 3: I didn't either love it. I love it, Yeah, I didn't.
- 3:46Speaker 3: I would have thought notting Hill was above boho.
- 3:50Speaker 2: She me too, because of Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts. Yes, okay,
- 3:55Speaker 2: but we went to that gorgeous, gorgeous London Mark the
- 4:00Speaker 2: Portobella market where all they sell is mushrooms and no,
- 4:05Speaker 2: and Micah, Kimmy and Lottie are hitting up the vintage
- 4:10Speaker 2: market and they just go nuts for it. And it
- 4:12Speaker 2: did look amazing. I wanted to be there so bad.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Yeah, it looks cool. And then I thought, man, how
- 4:18Speaker 3: do they do it? It's raining all the time. We
- 4:21Speaker 3: just hit it on a nice sunny day.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Yeah, great point. How is this an open air market?
- 4:27Speaker 2: I mean, I know that they had little awnings and stuff,
- 4:29Speaker 2: but my god, some of.
- 4:31Speaker 3: That stuff I was worried about getting tarnished rain damage.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Yeah, tarnished, tarnished, Honey, I'm tarnished, mother, I'm soiled. You know.
- 4:44Speaker 2: What was surprising is that Micah was like, well, I've
- 4:47Speaker 2: heard over the years that Dara has talked about me.
- 4:50Speaker 2: I'm like, bitch, what what?
- 4:52Speaker 1: Okay?
- 4:53Speaker 2: Okay, now you're saying you've actually heard this? All right, yes,
- 4:57Speaker 2: all right, you're taking a step back.
- 4:59Speaker 3: Well, yes, he defended her in the sense that she
- 5:03Speaker 3: would have never said anything like that, But now she's like,
- 5:06Speaker 3: all right.
- 5:08Speaker 2: She's not on the show, right, So that was interesting.
- 5:12Speaker 2: It was an interesting discovery because it doesn't hit as
- 5:16Speaker 2: hard as it did that this came out of nowhere.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Bunny was talking badly about Bunny, whereas now we know
- 5:26Speaker 2: that Micah has heard that she may have said something
- 5:29Speaker 2: in the past.
- 5:30Speaker 3: So I'm still on team Micah and this.
- 5:33Speaker 2: No, I'm not not anymore. I'm joking, totally kidding. Dara, Dara, Dara.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I hate that they're like Dara's this, Dara and I
- 5:44Speaker 2: and then Dara and I'm like, get it together. We're
- 5:49Speaker 2: having our time as it is. I don't even know
- 5:54Speaker 2: my name am I Ammy and Amy and my Amma
- 5:58Speaker 2: my Ami. Yeah. And then Kimmy was like, well, you know,
- 6:04Speaker 2: you've you've come across as too genuine and people like
- 6:07Speaker 2: to take advantage of that. Did you notice that, like
- 6:11Speaker 2: she kind of laughs like a puppet, like if you
- 6:15Speaker 2: were to you know, oh.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Yeah, there's a lot about Kimmy.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a puppet. Yeah, there's a lot about Kimmy
- 6:22Speaker 2: her new book. There's a lot about Kimmy. But the
- 6:24Speaker 2: way that the head is bobbing up and down with
- 6:27Speaker 2: the laughter, I've never quite seen that before. Very interesting characteristic.
- 6:32Speaker 3: It's a yeah, she's just yeah, everything about her is
- 6:38Speaker 3: very like big unless you want to be sad.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Oh, Mike reacting to that thing so different way. What
- 6:48Speaker 2: a Downer. When she was like referring to Debbie Downer,
- 6:52Speaker 2: I was like, this is amazing. But anyway, I did
- 6:58Speaker 2: like that. Kimmy was like, you know, people can take
- 7:01Speaker 2: advantage of how genuine you are. And then she suggested
- 7:05Speaker 2: that they should have a chat, but only by walkie talkie.
- 7:10Speaker 3: That's pretty great.
- 7:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Good see. I told join lolled on with her last
- 7:15Speaker 2: the first couple episodes, I didn't this episode, you know,
- 7:19Speaker 2: but I did think a lot was funny.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Uh yeah, I think this show needs Kimmy the most
- 7:26Speaker 3: right now.
- 7:26Speaker 2: I think what a great casting.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I don't know. Maybe eventually it'll get
- 7:35Speaker 3: I mean it'll you know, these people Ebb and Flow.
- 7:38Speaker 3: I'm saying right now, Kimmy, she's my favorite. When she's
- 7:41Speaker 3: on screen, I'm like, here we go.
- 7:42Speaker 2: This is yeah. Well, I thought that this episode was
- 7:46Speaker 2: quite incredible, and everyone seems to be bringing their best.
- 7:52Speaker 2: I mean, we just came off of an episode where
- 7:55Speaker 2: somebody quit and we're having to kind of deconstruct that,
- 7:58Speaker 2: and you know, my because checking in like I'm okay,
- 8:02Speaker 2: I guess I'm okay. I'm just gonna not be okay
- 8:05Speaker 2: until I'm okay again, and I'm gonna have my etiquette
- 8:09Speaker 2: about me while I do it.
- 8:12Speaker 3: But even in that meeting with Dara. It was that
- 8:16Speaker 3: was crazy, okay. And they both met in strapless white.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Tops in the world, tripping by the way, tripping over
- 8:25Speaker 2: their long pants and dresses on the way in and out.
- 8:30Speaker 2: You know, let's I'm sure you know a Taylor. You know, Oh, Taylor, Taylor.
- 8:41Speaker 2: I just have to know, Dakota. Did you enjoy it? Taylor?
- 8:43Speaker 4: No?
- 8:44Speaker 2: I didn't, Taylor, Taylor. Oh.
- 8:50Speaker 3: They both went into that meeting thinking they were going
- 8:53Speaker 3: to be virginal and innocence.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Yeah, they both came in like lambs and they left
- 9:00Speaker 2: like confused lambs, tripping over their little wool. But yes,
- 9:06Speaker 2: get a tailor. I think that would be helpful, just
- 9:09Speaker 2: because if you're gonna do a long shot and we
- 9:12Speaker 2: have to see like the pants over the shoes, it's
- 9:15Speaker 2: just it makes me nervous, you know. And then it's
- 9:16Speaker 2: white and you're dragging that around the London streets and
- 9:19Speaker 2: that's just upsetting to us.
- 9:20Speaker 3: All. Yeah, And to me though, it does show the
- 9:25Speaker 3: ultimate in wealth because you're that you've now fully ruined
- 9:29Speaker 3: one thousand dollars worth of pants and it doesn't matter
- 9:33Speaker 3: to you. You're just gonna.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Throw in a room and move on. With your life. Yes,
- 9:38Speaker 2: oh my god, look at over my shoulder. She jumped
- 9:41Speaker 2: up on the Hi. Hi, Hello, guess is here? You
- 9:52Speaker 2: know what? I'm sorry, there's not a lot of there's
- 9:54Speaker 2: there's there's not enough cats here. Okay, it's all dogs.
- 9:56Speaker 2: It's all dogs, not enough cats.
- 9:58Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 10:01Speaker 2: What's with all these British people? I mean, it's called
- 10:04Speaker 2: Ladies of London, but it doesn't need to be all
- 10:06Speaker 2: British people. Okay, there's only like three Americans. We need
- 10:09Speaker 2: more more Okay, So let me ask you this about
- 10:16Speaker 2: Micah's hair. Is that like a style where it's really
- 10:20Speaker 2: blonde at the root in front, and then it's like
- 10:22Speaker 2: kind of a stripe of dark and then it goes
- 10:24Speaker 2: light again.
- 10:25Speaker 3: I don't know. I have seen some of that lately.
- 10:30Speaker 3: I saw it especially at the I saw somebody like
- 10:33Speaker 3: that at the the Academy Wars.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Wow, and how was your experience? There's a seat filler
- 10:41Speaker 2: at the Warns?
- 10:43Speaker 3: How dare you? How dare you? I was a toilet filler.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Toilet that's hilarious. You have to keep the toilet seat
- 10:56Speaker 2: warm for.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Yes, old buns get cold.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Hi, guys, it's minkwentny. I love going to be Academy
- 11:06Speaker 2: Awards and like going into the bathroom and do a
- 11:09Speaker 2: private stall and having a seat warmer waiting for me.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Oh it makes my buns feel so happy. Wow, it's
- 11:18Speaker 2: great to be famous.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Yeah. I have to get like one knock knock one
- 11:29Speaker 3: knock pants up. It's all yours, gwinn.
- 11:33Speaker 2: And they have to like measure you see it heavy
- 11:35Speaker 2: exact same size as like the stars, but so that
- 11:39Speaker 2: it's the correct shape.
- 11:41Speaker 3: Or just you know, larger, And that's not been a
- 11:45Speaker 3: problem you have to have. You can't have a smaller ass.
- 11:48Speaker 3: You just have to have at least their size are.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Larger, right, that is true. Anyway you've seen that style, Yeah,
- 11:54Speaker 2: obviously it is a style. I just had never seen
- 11:56Speaker 2: it before. Very interesting.
- 11:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I'm I don't It doesn't do anything
- 12:01Speaker 3: for me one way or the other. But then you know,
- 12:04Speaker 3: because now that you're saying it, I'm remembering, like, oh, yeah,
- 12:08Speaker 3: that was something, but not.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Alisa lu the Olympian skater, hmmm, the gold medalist, you know,
- 12:17Speaker 2: with her hair style like the different stripes. I think
- 12:21Speaker 2: that that must be a thing now, not just with
- 12:23Speaker 2: Olympians but.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Also ladies in London. Yeah, and scattered attendance at the
- 12:31Speaker 3: Academy Awards.
- 12:32Speaker 2: I agree, it's okay, great square, as long as we're
- 12:36Speaker 2: on par with that.
- 12:37Speaker 3: Finally agreed.
- 12:38Speaker 2: So anyway, Dara was the most bizarre I think I've
- 12:43Speaker 2: ever seen that scene. That was so weird. She just
- 12:47Speaker 2: wanted to come in there and she thought it would
- 12:49Speaker 2: just be swept away.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean also again trying to pivot and put
- 12:54Speaker 3: it back on everybody else. I'm sad that she left
- 12:57Speaker 3: because I want to see how long she get away
- 13:00Speaker 3: with this behavior.
- 13:02Speaker 2: She wasn't sweating one bullet, you know. She just thought
- 13:07Speaker 2: I'm just gonna make this right and just say babe,
- 13:10Speaker 2: you know no I didn't say it, and then they
- 13:15Speaker 2: just like walk away and then they probably never speak again.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Good. I mean, that's great for Micah. That's great for Micah.
- 13:25Speaker 3: I wish that again, like Dara was on the show
- 13:30Speaker 3: and forced to deal with this head on. I mean,
- 13:32Speaker 3: the fact that she left the show in such a
- 13:34Speaker 3: bad way. She's got to be hearing about this from
- 13:37Speaker 3: people left and right in the real world right now,
- 13:41Speaker 3: just being like, what the hell was that, And she's
- 13:43Speaker 3: probably saying, oh, it is a bad edit.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Oh my gosh, that show. They make things up,
- 13:50Speaker 2: you know how fake those shows are, and they tried
- 13:52Speaker 2: to do this to me. I mean, and people will
- 13:54Speaker 2: believe that if they don't watch these shows. But I mean,
- 13:56Speaker 2: she clearly was busted.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Yeah, totally.
- 14:00Speaker 2: I just couldn't believe. There was nothing on her face
- 14:04Speaker 2: revealing any sort of remorse connection with her friend of
- 14:10Speaker 2: all these years, just absolutely nothing. And to know that
- 14:14Speaker 2: nothing also happened off camera is also weird because I
- 14:18Speaker 2: could understand her trying to perform on camera just to
- 14:20Speaker 2: like save face, but then off camera, I mean, zero zilch. Terrible.
- 14:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Wow, that's a sad ending to a friendship, especially when
- 14:30Speaker 2: you've invested so much over a long period of time.
- 14:33Speaker 2: It is such a bummer.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Well, I feel bad for Micah that she thought that
- 14:38Speaker 3: that was her friend, but like, I think this is
- 14:41Speaker 3: probably good. Can you imagine Micah doing a full season
- 14:45Speaker 3: of this with her thinking that they are best friends
- 14:48Speaker 3: and just watching it back and being fully humiliated.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Yeah, oh terrible.
- 14:54Speaker 3: At least she got the lesson right at the top.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Right, But yeah, you're right, it could have been worse.
- 15:00Speaker 2: I mean, the band aid was ripped off and when
- 15:02Speaker 2: Micah was like, I mean I thought that we were friends.
- 15:04Speaker 2: I mean friends are supposed to defend each other no
- 15:08Speaker 2: matter what. And Dara's like, yeah, yeah, babe, and Micah's like,
- 15:14Speaker 2: that's what I did. And she's like I know, I know.
- 15:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Wow, this is operating on a whole separate level of denial.
- 15:27Speaker 2: And talk about Candy Burrows flying above, you know, just
- 15:31Speaker 2: flying right above her in the white dress, old son.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Maybe she was operating at a one so there was
- 15:42Speaker 3: nothing like that they could edit and trick in a
- 15:45Speaker 3: different way. I feel like that's how she was filming
- 15:47Speaker 3: the whole thing. She was just like, I'm going to
- 15:49Speaker 3: be so monotone that they're not going to be able
- 15:52Speaker 3: to show me losing my cool. They're not going to
- 15:55Speaker 3: be able to show anything that I can't take back
- 15:58Speaker 3: or say was otherwise. But meanwhile, it still looks wild.
- 16:03Speaker 2: It looks psychotic, you know, it's yeah, well it does
- 16:08Speaker 2: because it shows no feeling and that's a scary thing
- 16:13Speaker 2: to see. Yeah, when you know on some level they've
- 16:16Speaker 2: had a friendship, whether it was like as deep as
- 16:19Speaker 2: Micah is telling us or as shallow as Dara is acting,
- 16:23Speaker 2: there's still something there. So yeah, wild bye bye to her.
- 16:29Speaker 1: She is gone.
- 16:30Speaker 2: She is gone. Okay, now, let's talk about the wildest
- 16:36Speaker 2: scene that we've seen in a while, and I'm talking
- 16:40Speaker 2: about Martha's storage and her hats, her hats. I think
- 16:45Speaker 2: that on the first two episodes, when we first discussed this,
- 16:48Speaker 2: I said, I love Martha. We all agreed, we love Martha.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Martha is like one of our favorites. And my knee
- 16:55Speaker 2: jerk reaction is I'm scared because she is so fragile.
- 16:59Speaker 2: She's like this thin little needle wavering back and forth,
- 17:01Speaker 2: and I don't know which way it's gonna flip, and
- 17:03Speaker 2: I'm scared, and I don't know if it's a good
- 17:06Speaker 2: thing that she's on the show or a really bad thing.
- 17:08Speaker 2: And I know originally we landed with Okay, well, this
- 17:11Speaker 2: will help her because she'll make money, and that's the
- 17:14Speaker 2: most important thing right now. However, you know, with reality
- 17:18Speaker 2: TV and how things go, that could it can push
- 17:21Speaker 2: people if they're on the edge of something. And this
- 17:24Speaker 2: scene supports my fear, and that is that she is
- 17:29Speaker 2: so vulnerable. She's such a fragile soul, and I'm extremely
- 17:34Speaker 2: concerned about her well being and how she's going to
- 17:38Speaker 2: move forward through this world as well as this show
- 17:42Speaker 2: and us watching it. But what a scene, what sorrow
- 17:46Speaker 2: you could see in these hats as she's telling the
- 17:49Speaker 2: story about her sister and then her father and how
- 17:54Speaker 2: she's going to like build this back up again and
- 17:56Speaker 2: you know, get her life back. But Margo coming in
- 17:59Speaker 2: with I can't be friends with you if you were
- 18:03Speaker 2: going to destroy your life like this, like that was
- 18:06Speaker 2: like a tough love turn that I did not expect
- 18:09Speaker 2: to happen and I and now it makes sense to
- 18:12Speaker 2: me why they haven't kept in touch, because you know,
- 18:14Speaker 2: when Martha went and met Margo in the park and
- 18:18Speaker 2: brought her daughter a gift and was like, it's so
- 18:20Speaker 2: nice to meet you. I've heard so much about you. Yeah, yeah, Oh, well,
- 18:24Speaker 2: that's weird that she hasn't met her. But then I
- 18:26Speaker 2: was like, oh, because she's been living in Beverly Hills,
- 18:29Speaker 2: so she's been away, So that makes sense. But I
- 18:31Speaker 2: also think that their friendship has not been strong over
- 18:37Speaker 2: the last few years. I think I mean several years,
- 18:40Speaker 2: And I think that Margo knows what's going on with Martha,
- 18:45Speaker 2: and I think she kind of seems to be scared
- 18:48Speaker 2: for her.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Yeah, but she wasn't scared enough to get that chunk
- 18:52Speaker 3: of cardboard out of her hair. For the entire scene,
- 18:55Speaker 3: I was like, you can at least do this, Margo,
- 18:57Speaker 3: you can at least get the cardboard out of her.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:02Speaker 3: Yeah, she she has h Sonya vibes a little bit
- 19:07Speaker 3: for me. Martha does in terms of like the like
- 19:12Speaker 3: the housewife or the person in the friend group that's
- 19:14Speaker 3: like sometimes hanging by a thread and but very vulnerable
- 19:19Speaker 3: and is willing to be taken care of. She's not
- 19:23Speaker 3: like the friend that's like, you.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Know, pushing away any help. Yeah, not isolating. Yeah, I agree,
- 19:32Speaker 2: But I also.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Didn't know why can't she change her locks?
- 19:36Speaker 2: I know, I mean that was obviously like a you know.
- 19:39Speaker 2: The point being is what she did was the problem.
- 19:44Speaker 2: And I think that Margot must have been trying to
- 19:47Speaker 2: put the fear of God into her, like, you can't
- 19:49Speaker 2: make mistakes like this, you are going to be taken
- 19:53Speaker 2: advantage of. So so this is the builder that was
- 19:56Speaker 2: gonna come and like help her with the cracks and
- 19:58Speaker 2: the peeling in her house and her apartment. And then,
- 20:02Speaker 2: as we know, she paid him ahead of time, she
- 20:04Speaker 2: didn't get references. And then we find out that she
- 20:08Speaker 2: gave him the keys and then he was like, I
- 20:11Speaker 2: can't do the job, and then she was like I
- 20:13Speaker 2: need my keys back. I mean, is that what we're
- 20:15Speaker 2: looking at here?
- 20:16Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes, ma'am.
- 20:24Speaker 2: So yeah, yeah, people, you know, and that's the thing,
- 20:27Speaker 2: like people like her, they just don't have that like
- 20:31Speaker 2: sense of danger and they trust and they're just not aware.
- 20:37Speaker 2: And that's like a that's a personality trait that's that
- 20:41Speaker 2: she has.
- 20:42Speaker 3: I think I get the vibe. It might be also
- 20:45Speaker 3: a lot of alcohol involved in decision making and just
- 20:50Speaker 3: in terms of like how the day goes who she's
- 20:54Speaker 3: trusting as the day goes on, because like she does
- 20:58Speaker 3: seem to like have moments of clarity. But I have
- 21:02Speaker 3: a feeling that alcohol might be playing a part. Just
- 21:07Speaker 3: a hunch based on the day drinking we've seen, But
- 21:12Speaker 3: just a hunch.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good hunch. You know. I've heard the
- 21:18Speaker 2: connection and the similarities that people say that she's a
- 21:20Speaker 2: lot like Sonya, and I guess, like, I don't really
- 21:24Speaker 2: see it.
- 21:25Speaker 3: It was my original it was my original thought.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Oh sorry, that's right. You're the only one I've heard
- 21:29Speaker 2: it from you. I mean, and I can see why
- 21:32Speaker 2: that would be a point, But Sonya is I never
- 21:36Speaker 2: felt worried watching her on screen like I do immediately
- 21:42Speaker 2: with Martha from the jump. I have had moments where
- 21:45Speaker 2: I'm like, so concerned with Sonya. I'm just saying, like, okay,
- 21:50Speaker 2: so the second that Sonya's on our screen, I did
- 21:53Speaker 2: not feel a knee jerk reaction of like, I don't
- 21:55Speaker 2: think this is good. I'm worried about this person, you know,
- 21:59Speaker 2: where As like with Martha, that's how I feel Sonya.
- 22:04Speaker 2: She ebbs and flows, She's able to keep above water.
- 22:07Speaker 2: She's like living in a you know, her own world
- 22:10Speaker 2: and in the past and can't quite get a handle
- 22:13Speaker 2: on things. Yes, yes, yes, all those things. However, it's
- 22:16Speaker 2: not as serious as I see this, and I'm like,
- 22:20Speaker 2: I can't help but say I'm concerned. I'm concerned.
- 22:23Speaker 3: Do you think that she shouldn't be on the show?
- 22:25Speaker 2: I don't. Actually, I don't.
- 22:27Speaker 3: I think that I don't think she should be.
- 22:29Speaker 2: I don't, I don't. I decided now as we're talking,
- 22:32Speaker 2: I don't think she should be.
- 22:34Speaker 3: I think she should be.
- 22:35Speaker 2: But you know why, and they did a good job
- 22:38Speaker 2: because you find people who are not stable for reality television,
- 22:43Speaker 2: and I don't think that she is. And now I'm
- 22:45Speaker 2: in many ways she Isn't she charming? No charming? Is
- 22:50Speaker 2: she beautiful? Is she interesting? Is she do? We want
- 22:54Speaker 2: to follow her journey? All of those things. But what
- 22:58Speaker 2: it's worth, Robert does it's humanity's sake? It doesn't, okay, right,
- 23:04Speaker 2: for what it's worth, it's not not if it's worth
- 23:06Speaker 2: not worth much.
- 23:07Speaker 3: Three to three hundred pounds to get your apartment fixed,
- 23:10Speaker 3: is it worth that?
- 23:11Speaker 2: It's She probably gave the keys to the people who
- 23:15Speaker 2: did the Nychoville. You know, I know, I know all
- 23:19Speaker 2: the p's and q's. I mean, I get it. I'm
- 23:22Speaker 2: just saying like, despite all of that, there are ways
- 23:25Speaker 2: around those types of things, and I think that they
- 23:30Speaker 2: got a good one on their hands that they can exploit.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Sorry, or you know, maybe she'll see yourself on camera
- 23:38Speaker 3: and say, my gosh, I could make a few changes
- 23:41Speaker 3: in my life. And that always happens. It never gets
- 23:46Speaker 3: worse never.
- 23:47Speaker 2: I just really hope that, like I hope for the best,
- 23:52Speaker 2: and I do appreciate on some level that like Margo
- 23:56Speaker 2: is saying, like you're on a suicide mission, like that's
- 23:59Speaker 2: a pretty big jump up to make from giving a
- 24:03Speaker 2: painter some keys.
- 24:05Speaker 4: Oh.
- 24:05Speaker 3: I have a feeling Margot has seen so much shit
- 24:08Speaker 3: and has probably bailed Martha out one thousand times. Probably
- 24:14Speaker 3: a big motivation for moving to the United States was
- 24:17Speaker 3: to get away from that friend group. And so I
- 24:22Speaker 3: have a hunch that she is has had this conversation
- 24:27Speaker 3: multiple times with her also on the heels of the
- 24:30Speaker 3: sister Polly compo, because that is how Polly died, Martha's sister.
- 24:37Speaker 3: I was like, oh, this is hitting Okay.
- 24:41Speaker 2: That's how Polly died. Yeah, by suicide.
- 24:44Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, So Margo leaning in and just like really
- 24:48Speaker 3: not holding back. I was like, she's very comfortable doing
- 24:52Speaker 3: this and.
- 24:53Speaker 2: That very quickly, feeling that she's done it before. Yeah,
- 24:57Speaker 2: and she also wants to make very clear on camera.
- 25:02Speaker 2: So yeah, that's true. She's very smart, you know, Margo
- 25:06Speaker 2: seems very intelligent and seems to be pretty in tune
- 25:11Speaker 2: to what's going on.
- 25:13Speaker 3: Also sober, right, Margo sober at the time right now.
- 25:18Speaker 3: So it's like she's probably seeing a lot of the
- 25:21Speaker 3: behavior that they probably used to do together and it's
- 25:26Speaker 3: probably really annoying her right now.
- 25:29Speaker 2: I mean this Martha is giving Tennessee, Williams. You know,
- 25:36Speaker 2: streetcar named desire Blanche du Bois vibes more so than
- 25:42Speaker 2: I've seen in a really long time. And this is
- 25:45Speaker 2: the type of personality that I love in my plays,
- 25:50Speaker 2: in my books, in my shows. Give me Betty Davis
- 25:55Speaker 2: is it. She's just a show, but it's real and
- 25:58Speaker 2: it's scaring me and I love it. And it's like,
- 26:02Speaker 2: you know, give me, give me Betty Davis, and give
- 26:04Speaker 2: me all the characters. And I am like eating it up.
- 26:08Speaker 2: And but she is so empathetic and I love that.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Like in the car on the way back from the vineyard,
- 26:14Speaker 2: she was like, it is sad. It's very sad. The
- 26:17Speaker 2: story is sad. You know when Kimmy was like talking
- 26:19Speaker 2: about everybody was going around and.
- 26:22Speaker 3: She dismissed Missy Missy's story because he was maybe involved with.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Like organized crime or a drug dealer or something like that,
- 26:31Speaker 2: so it would be less sad, like right, And she's like,
- 26:35Speaker 2: I'm from Haiti. I lived in Haiti, seen it once,
- 26:37Speaker 2: seen it twice. And they're like She's like, it's not
- 26:41Speaker 2: so it wasn't it's not a SOB story. She's like,
- 26:44Speaker 2: it's not a sob story that she's saying it is,
- 26:47Speaker 2: and Marco's like, it is a SOB story. She's like, no,
- 26:53Speaker 2: it's not. Organized crime. Isn't a SOB story? You know.
- 26:58Speaker 2: It reminded me of the movie Airplane. I always quote
- 27:00Speaker 2: this when the plane we know it's going to like
- 27:03Speaker 2: crash because there's no pilot, right, And then the reporter
- 27:06Speaker 2: on like a sixty minute style show is like, they
- 27:09Speaker 2: bought the tickets, they knew what they were getting into.
- 27:13Speaker 2: I say, let him crash, you know, that's Kimmy. She's like,
- 27:17Speaker 2: they knew he signed up, he knew he was going
- 27:20Speaker 2: to die in front of his family, Like you know,
- 27:24Speaker 2: it's just so intense.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:27Speaker 3: That lunch was like when Missy said, like, let's go
- 27:31Speaker 3: around and like really get to know each other. And
- 27:34Speaker 3: I was like, okay, I now miss the card game
- 27:37Speaker 3: that I always shit on when the housewives pull out
- 27:40Speaker 3: that deca cards to ask each other questions at the table.
- 27:44Speaker 3: When Missy just went there without a card game, I
- 27:48Speaker 3: was like, this is I don't like this. I want cards.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Kimmy has a point that when you just share something
- 27:56Speaker 2: that's so intense at a table with a ton of people,
- 27:59Speaker 2: it does them across as disingenuous. However, Kimmy, this is
- 28:03Speaker 2: a TV show and it's not just you getting to
- 28:05Speaker 2: know these people, it's us, okay, so you have to
- 28:08Speaker 2: do it. You gotta play the game, So shut up
- 28:10Speaker 2: and just share something.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Yeah, especially because whatever that story was that I didn't
- 28:16Speaker 3: know about Missy's brother was had a lot of press,
- 28:20Speaker 3: it was going to be talked about. I get why
- 28:22Speaker 3: she wanted to get out in front of it.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Get out in front of it, right, I mean, yeah,
- 28:30Speaker 2: I get to right, Yeah, you were in a cult,
- 28:37Speaker 2: you know exactly, And everybody like okay, And then Martha's like,
- 28:43Speaker 2: well I have a white tattoo and my sister killed herself.
- 28:46Speaker 2: And then Kimmy talks about God, I can't say this
- 28:51Speaker 2: name Sueln. It's like so many letters that shouldn't belong together.
- 28:57Speaker 2: I think it's her husband now, isn't it. And then
- 28:59Speaker 2: the worried that Kimmy talks about, you know in another room,
- 29:03Speaker 2: She's like, oh, you know, Sulin is not teawait A,
- 29:08Speaker 2: not too friendship. It's like, what are you talking about?
- 29:11Speaker 2: And then whoever she was like, are you saying that
- 29:13Speaker 2: something happened? And she's like no, Okay, well then yes
- 29:17Speaker 2: saying something and then to have this say this name,
- 29:21Speaker 2: it always gets me a million times. I'm like, what
- 29:23Speaker 2: did you did? You just sneeze like Celin is a
- 29:27Speaker 2: bless her is he is just so wonderful? And then
- 29:31Speaker 2: they show that picture, that random picture of Sulin walking
- 29:34Speaker 2: down the street with a bunch of ladies and bikinis
- 29:38Speaker 2: and furs, and I was like, well, which one is
- 29:41Speaker 2: Kimmy is one of them?
- 29:42Speaker 3: Kimmy?
- 29:43Speaker 2: Are they just a bunch of gals that they're trying
- 29:45Speaker 2: to paint the picture that Sulin is a little bit
- 29:48Speaker 2: not tea.
- 29:49Speaker 3: Yeah, he's I wonder too if it's just like I
- 29:54Speaker 3: need to know more about Kimmy. I need to know
- 29:56Speaker 3: more about the life she had.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Prior going to Downer. I mean, I do see like
- 30:02Speaker 2: her whole vibe about I don't see the purpose of
- 30:07Speaker 2: going back thirty years ago and talking about all this
- 30:10Speaker 2: stuff and dredging it up, because it's not going to
- 30:13Speaker 2: do me any good. Yeah, it's not going to do
- 30:16Speaker 2: you any good because you clearly have shut the door
- 30:18Speaker 2: and you've moved on and you're not going to dig
- 30:20Speaker 2: that up, and you probably shouldn't, especially at a show
- 30:23Speaker 2: like this right now, maybe get into therapy if you
- 30:25Speaker 2: want to talk about it. But her stuff is buried
- 30:27Speaker 2: so deep that you can't, like, you can't even get
- 30:31Speaker 2: to it, you know, the crust of the earth is like,
- 30:33Speaker 2: you're gonna hit that before you get to whatever she
- 30:36Speaker 2: wants to talk about.
- 30:38Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But I do think that she
- 30:41Speaker 3: is so open about things that she thinks are of
- 30:46Speaker 3: no consequence that it's gonna it makes other people want
- 30:51Speaker 3: to spread her, you know, her stuff that she doesn't
- 30:56Speaker 3: want out. So I do think we're gonna get a
- 30:58Speaker 3: wys of the past good.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure.
- 31:03Speaker 3: Yeah, she's going to keep coming in with these madam
- 31:06Speaker 3: things and I had naughty times with your husband. We're
- 31:08Speaker 3: going to get to know her.
- 31:09Speaker 2: We're going to get to know her, whether she likes
- 31:11Speaker 2: it or not. Yeah yeah yeah. Her face though, when
- 31:16Speaker 2: they were going here on the table was like, eh,
- 31:20Speaker 2: her mouth is like an entire universe, you know, like
- 31:24Speaker 2: her lips and her teeth and her mouth is an
- 31:26Speaker 2: entire world that exists within the world. It's great when

- 40:52Speaker 2: We never talked about that.
- 40:54Speaker 3: Because you know what, I've got the idea that that
- 40:56Speaker 3: was the first time she had ever been to the
- 40:59Speaker 3: zoo on the proper When she was walking around really yeah,
- 41:04Speaker 3: because they're like, okay, this is how you're going to
- 41:06Speaker 3: feed this animal that's lived here for thirty years. She's like, whoa,
- 41:10Speaker 3: what is this? It's an elephant. It's an elephant.
- 41:14Speaker 2: That's hilarious. Oh my god, that's funny. She lives on
- 41:18Speaker 2: that property though, like, yeah, that's so crazy.
- 41:22Speaker 3: But it like why would she be going. They were
- 41:26Speaker 3: talking to her like she was a stranger, and she
- 41:29Speaker 3: was acting very familiar with that.
- 41:31Speaker 2: Yeah right right, Oh, yes, that's right. The drafts are
- 41:36Speaker 2: over here. No, they're to the left, right over here,
- 41:38Speaker 2: right over that. Oh that yes, indeed that they eat food,
- 41:43Speaker 2: you say, Okay, she's talking to the camera. They had
- 41:47Speaker 2: to cut all the footage of her trying to talk
- 41:49Speaker 2: to the camera. She's like, and now we shall go
- 41:51Speaker 2: see the pigs. There are no pigs here, No pig. Yeah,
- 41:54Speaker 2: so we shall mosey ova to the bond y'aw Nope? Wrong?
- 42:01Speaker 2: Oh again, Oh so funny. Okay, what else does oh? Yeah,
- 42:09Speaker 2: the vineyard? This like insane drive to this vineyard okay
- 42:15Speaker 2: with in a van for three hours and you know
- 42:19Speaker 2: where they ended up? Emily and Angels campsite from Potomac.
- 42:29Speaker 2: So he finally made it, and then Mark being like, oh, hell,
- 42:34Speaker 2: I've got to go to my charity event. He walks
- 42:36Speaker 2: in the door and then he leaves. So you're telling
- 42:39Speaker 2: me he drove all that way and then got back
- 42:42Speaker 2: in the car and drove three hours back to a
- 42:45Speaker 2: charity event. Is that right?
- 42:47Speaker 3: That's the vibe I got. I was like, Oh, they
- 42:50Speaker 3: booked him for three hours this day, and he did
- 42:55Speaker 3: his three hours and now he's gone.
- 42:58Speaker 2: I just thought it mustn't Oh, he must have been pissed.
- 43:01Speaker 2: But I mean, I think it. It obviously took way
- 43:04Speaker 2: longer than it should have, right because the traffic exactly,
- 43:07Speaker 2: So yeah, maybe it was supposed to take an hour
- 43:09Speaker 2: and a half. And then yeah, okay, that's kind of
- 43:12Speaker 2: like what I'm thinking too. All right, yeah, wow that
- 43:14Speaker 2: was crazy crazy janey mm hmmm. All right, Well I
- 43:18Speaker 2: think we've kind of wrapped up Ladies of London. Kimmy
- 43:21Speaker 2: had did pottery with their kids, and Lottie went shopping
- 43:24Speaker 2: with her mom for baby stuff. Is yes, okay, great, great, great? Great? Okay, Well,
- 43:31Speaker 2: why don't we move it along to below deck down
- 43:35Speaker 2: under no, Surrey, I will not be having it.
- 43:38Speaker 3: Amy. Do you think that that was your best recap
- 43:41Speaker 3: of Ladies of London? Did you was that your best?
- 43:45Speaker 2: I tried, I mean tried, baby, What do you mean
- 43:54Speaker 2: was it your best?
- 43:55Speaker 3: I'll just keep saying it in different ways.
- 43:57Speaker 2: I love that so much. Those lay Mecca. They understood
- 44:02Speaker 2: the assignment and they brought it, you know, from beginning,
- 44:04Speaker 2: and they understood the assignment. And I honestly they got me.
- 44:08Speaker 2: They really did get me because I totally thought that
- 44:10Speaker 2: they were going to roast him and I loved that.
- 44:13Speaker 2: They were like, it was amazing, but you know, gave
- 44:16Speaker 2: it away, stupid captain. He was smiling during it. I
- 44:20Speaker 2: was like, you gave it away, You gave away the prank.
- 44:23Speaker 3: They none of them made that apple pie unless they
- 44:26Speaker 3: were working on a second piece of it or whatever
- 44:29Speaker 3: that was. None of them made it, including the.
- 44:31Speaker 2: Captain apple Kel's apple pie kell Zone. No, no, no, no,
- 44:39Speaker 2: In fact, that's a hard no no no. That is
- 44:45Speaker 2: a weird dessert. And it wasn't his best.
- 44:49Speaker 4: No.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Actually, that dinner looked amazing, the six courses, everything looked incredible.
- 44:54Speaker 2: It was actually the most I've been impressed with his
- 44:57Speaker 2: food so far this season.
- 44:59Speaker 3: Especially an oven, So that was even Yeah, that's more impressive.
- 45:03Speaker 3: I didn't mind the apple pie take it just I
- 45:07Speaker 3: was like, after all that, no one ate it?
- 45:09Speaker 2: Okay, if he could have just called it something other
- 45:12Speaker 2: than a calzone, like maybe even an apple pie pocket
- 45:16Speaker 2: would have even been better than a calzone, because you
- 45:18Speaker 2: think of a calzone stuffed with pizza and sausage and
- 45:22Speaker 2: like sauce, and it's heavy and it's thick.
- 45:24Speaker 3: An apple pie pocket and now I'm just thinking, oh,
- 45:27Speaker 3: like a hot pocket. Okay, Ben, that's not your best.
- 45:32Speaker 2: Well, what are we gonna call it? If we can't
- 45:33Speaker 2: call it a pie? Jesus sorry, so upset about the pocket?
- 45:39Speaker 2: All right? So if we can't call it a calzone
- 45:41Speaker 2: and we can't call it a pocket, then we call
- 45:44Speaker 2: it an envelope. Oh that's gorgeous, an apple pie envelope,
- 45:54Speaker 2: apple pie possele ew Oh, yes, well, which is it?
- 46:02Speaker 4: You were?
- 46:03Speaker 3: Yah huscle possel Like it just sounds like it just
- 46:08Speaker 3: sounds like an infection. But I know what you're saying,
- 46:12Speaker 3: like a parcel like, yes, Ben, back to you, been
- 46:17Speaker 3: another hour in the in the kitchen naming it?
- 46:21Speaker 2: What did you say weird. What did you say what
- 46:24Speaker 2: is a what is a parcel infection?
- 46:30Speaker 3: The way you said it with your accent postel. I
- 46:35Speaker 3: don't know, because they say it. I mean, I've certainly
- 46:38Speaker 3: heard it that way. Apple pause. I don't know. Maybe
- 46:41Speaker 3: it just hit me and and I went with it
- 46:45Speaker 3: and my brain maybe my brain is an allergic reaction,
- 46:50Speaker 3: an allergic reaction to it.
- 46:52Speaker 2: Okay. Yeah, So by the way, Ben, it's I think,
- 46:57Speaker 2: what's gonna help me with the accent? And last week
- 46:59Speaker 2: you really did bring it Emily because you kind of
- 47:01Speaker 2: cracked the coat about him, And this week I was like, oh,
- 47:04Speaker 2: because he kept saying doll in and honey so much,
- 47:08Speaker 2: which is obviously ramping up to something, which is why
- 47:10Speaker 2: the editors kept leaving it in. Yeah, I thought, oh,
- 47:14Speaker 2: he's very Austin powers, you know, he's like yeah, baby yea.
- 47:22Speaker 2: And it dawned on me when they were out at
- 47:24Speaker 2: Crewe night and he was got the camera and he
- 47:26Speaker 2: was shooting at Jenna and he's like, you look great
- 47:29Speaker 2: on camera, baby. Yeah.
- 47:35Speaker 3: He is such a cheese. Yeah.
- 47:39Speaker 2: Waiting him taking a bath and like getting in a
- 47:42Speaker 2: robe and pouring wine. I mean, yeah, it's a darky
- 47:47Speaker 2: wine heavily produced because they got him like checking the
- 47:51Speaker 2: temperature of the bath and being like perfect temperature.
- 47:54Speaker 3: Baby, Oh yeah, He's like, let's you know, He's like,
- 48:00Speaker 3: I'm just going to take a nap. And then he
- 48:01Speaker 3: called them back in, say hey, why don't I run
- 48:04Speaker 3: the bath. I'll get the soap. That soap had been
- 48:07Speaker 3: going for a minute because it was real sudsy.
- 48:10Speaker 2: It was Meredith Mark's level. You know, he took a
- 48:14Speaker 2: Meredith Mark's bath.
- 48:18Speaker 3: Bay Like moms, I thought, like, you made a decent
- 48:23Speaker 3: deal with Ellie to get let her sleep in the
- 48:25Speaker 3: night after Crewe night. Like I thought that was a
- 48:28Speaker 3: good deal.
- 48:28Speaker 2: I would have didn that she.
- 48:31Speaker 3: Did take it.
- 48:31Speaker 2: I mean, looking at that kitchen though, and knowing what
- 48:35Speaker 2: kind of day they had had at night, it would
- 48:37Speaker 2: have been a really tough bargain to make.
- 48:41Speaker 3: I feel like they were all still hung over from
- 48:43Speaker 3: the last crew night. Also, and so nobody I feel
- 48:47Speaker 3: like Blake, Blake, nobody's operating at even eighty percent.
- 48:56Speaker 2: On that boat right now. Yeah, yeah, all right, we
- 49:01Speaker 2: all all see yell at yeh see you guys later
- 49:09Speaker 2: zoned out a little bit.
- 49:11Speaker 3: Well, I think that's the thing they are all zoning out.
- 49:14Speaker 3: There's no communication. Daisy and Joel. I don't know what
- 49:18Speaker 3: they are doing. They are destroying the coral reef. No oh,
- 49:24Speaker 3: and the coral reef. But they're like they're just yelling
- 49:28Speaker 3: at those two or like dragging those two around. Like
- 49:31Speaker 3: Alicia's getting shited from everybody, and Daisy's not managing her. Well,
- 49:35Speaker 3: she's not yelling at her, but she's also like not
- 49:37Speaker 3: helping any situation with everybody else having to do Alicia's job.
- 49:41Speaker 3: And then Mike, poor Mike is going to die because
- 49:44Speaker 3: he keeps being hauled back and forth and nobody believes
- 49:48Speaker 3: him that he's doing too many jobs.
- 49:51Speaker 2: I mean, you are on the other side of my opinion.
- 49:54Speaker 2: My friend Alicia is doing shit work. She is so sensitive.
- 49:59Speaker 2: I can't that's Lea.
- 50:01Speaker 3: I agree with you. I agree with you.
- 50:03Speaker 2: You shouldn't have to tiptoe around someone like that. Daisy's
- 50:05Speaker 2: like you left the wax all over the table, you
- 50:10Speaker 2: left a dirty boat. You left a dirty boat, mother,
- 50:13Speaker 2: you know. And then meanwhile she's conducting And this has
- 50:16Speaker 2: nothing to do with the Daisy situation, but the way
- 50:19Speaker 2: that she's communicated with her boyfriend is hilarious. She's like
- 50:22Speaker 2: ignoring all of this text. Then she's like, I gotta
- 50:25Speaker 2: just like nip this in the butt. I'm just gonna
- 50:26Speaker 2: call him while I'm getting ready for crew night out
- 50:28Speaker 2: and be like. She didn't even wait for the answer
- 50:31Speaker 2: of like, hello, love, how are you? She was like, hello,
- 50:35Speaker 2: I miss you so much, So I just wanted to
- 50:36Speaker 2: get this out of the way and just let you
- 50:38Speaker 2: know I'm total flop. But you know that I'm not
- 50:39Speaker 2: going to do anything. It's just like, right, wait a minute,
- 50:43Speaker 2: well hello hello. It's just so weird. And then she
- 50:49Speaker 2: just yeah, I mean she's getting on my nerves. I'm
- 50:52Speaker 2: not really I'm not really team Alicia right now. And
- 50:56Speaker 2: Mikey is going to kill that coral reef with his
- 50:59Speaker 2: hairspr and also I do love him shit talking, He's like,
- 51:03Speaker 2: oh I wish I wouldn't have stirred the pot. And
- 51:05Speaker 2: he just the way, like going back to how he
- 51:08Speaker 2: delivered the news to Jenna, he was like.
- 51:11Speaker 3: Yeah, hey, she texted him.
- 51:14Speaker 2: Look they want to get together. She's like, are you serious.
- 51:16Speaker 2: He's like, oh, yep, yeah, he loves it. It made
- 51:22Speaker 2: me laugh, but I don't know, I can't get a
- 51:25Speaker 2: vibe is he really doing the work really hard, and
- 51:27Speaker 2: like is just going back and forth.
- 51:29Speaker 3: They keep moving him back and forth before he has
- 51:31Speaker 3: a chance to finish something. But then on top of that,
- 51:34Speaker 3: I think he really stuck out because of the Alicia thing.
- 51:38Speaker 3: Had he not gotten in the middle of that, I mean,
- 51:40Speaker 3: that's awesome for producers, but had he but for Daisy
- 51:44Speaker 3: and Joao, I think had he's not been involved, they
- 51:48Speaker 3: we would have never thought Mike was a problem.
- 51:51Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true. But right now, Mike and Alicia this
- 51:55Speaker 2: morning after like trying to get this boat together is
- 51:59Speaker 2: a does that and the fact that like Daisy wakes
- 52:02Speaker 2: up and she sees this boat a mess. Jenna's pissed
- 52:05Speaker 2: because she's left with a dirty boat, and Mike was
- 52:08Speaker 2: a part of that as well. And here Daisy, like
- 52:12Speaker 2: she's getting Mike is talking back to Daisy and then
- 52:15Speaker 2: she goes she's like, good morning, Alicia, and then she
- 52:20Speaker 2: gives her a hug and she's like, you know what,
- 52:23Speaker 2: the fucking boat is a little bit dodgy, but you know,
- 52:26Speaker 2: go gets a cup of coffee and she's like, I'm like,
- 52:29Speaker 2: oh my god, Like she's got to tell you. She's
- 52:32Speaker 2: gotta tell you what you didn't didn't do and then
- 52:35Speaker 2: Mike is sassing her.
- 52:37Speaker 3: No, Surrey, I will not be having it.
- 52:42Speaker 2: Having the ping pong back and forth with her manager styles.
- 52:46Speaker 3: Do you remember when Fraser was like he kept reprimanding
- 52:51Speaker 3: Barbie and never the other like Stu, it was somebody
- 52:57Speaker 3: else that he was just like, oh, let me man
- 53:00Speaker 3: you in this different way because you need a lot
- 53:02Speaker 3: of hugs. Yeah, and Barbie was working her ass off
- 53:05Speaker 3: and yes, do it better.
- 53:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I do remember that. Oh. Interesting with Alicia.
- 53:11Speaker 3: Alicia's getting a lot of like.
- 53:13Speaker 2: Passes, But do you think she's actually doing the work great?
- 53:16Speaker 2: Because I don't she's not working like Barbie worked. She's
- 53:21Speaker 2: I don't know, I don't know's we'll think about how
- 53:23Speaker 2: she left the boat. She left the boat dirty, she
- 53:27Speaker 2: didn't finish the list, and man.
- 53:29Speaker 3: Yeah she didn't finish the list. But other than that,
- 53:33Speaker 3: she does seem to do a good job. I just
- 53:37Speaker 3: don't think she did a good job that night. And
- 53:39Speaker 3: then it was also hard to tell if she was
- 53:42Speaker 3: given too much to do at the end. I'm so
- 53:45Speaker 3: confused right now on what people are doing and what
- 53:49Speaker 3: they're not doing well. The list.
- 53:51Speaker 2: We've seen lists and that list. You know, it probably
- 53:55Speaker 2: was a lot, but it didn't look like the biggest
- 53:58Speaker 2: list I've ever seen that a stew, a chief stew
- 54:01Speaker 2: leaves her stews. I've seen an entire page full of
- 54:04Speaker 2: things like bullet points, and that was not even half
- 54:07Speaker 2: the page.
- 54:08Speaker 3: So and also Mike was supposed to help, right.
- 54:11Speaker 2: Thank you, welcome, welcome to my side, welcome, nice to
- 54:14Speaker 2: have you.
- 54:14Speaker 3: No, I agree with you on that. I just think
- 54:17Speaker 3: like that's where I'm saying. No, there seems to be
- 54:19Speaker 3: a breakdown in communication, even between you and.
- 54:22Speaker 2: Me, breakdown of people not doing their work. Well, MLA,
- 54:25Speaker 2: that's what it is. Okay, thank you. Ben and Daisy
- 54:35Speaker 2: are starting to get on each other's nerves, and like
- 54:38Speaker 2: you know, the guests are like, okay, cocktail are great.
- 54:41Speaker 2: We've been at this bar for about five minutes and
- 54:43Speaker 2: they're like, meet us at the table. So, I mean
- 54:46Speaker 2: it's a little out of Daisy's hands in terms of
- 54:49Speaker 2: like the cocktail hour being too short. I mean, I
- 54:52Speaker 2: it's tough, and what's she gonna do. Steve got to
- 54:54Speaker 2: stay here for twenty minutes and what's she gonna do?
- 54:57Speaker 3: No, not at all. I mean, I think, yeah, be
- 55:00Speaker 3: down there, like telling people how to have cocktail hour,
- 55:03Speaker 3: and he has no idea what's going on upstairs. He's
- 55:06Speaker 3: like down there like telling everybody bullet points of how
- 55:09Speaker 3: cocktail hours go generally. I was like, yeah, they're already
- 55:13Speaker 3: at the table, dude.
- 55:15Speaker 2: You know. He's like, isn't that a Jenne Eleven's baby?
- 55:20Speaker 2: The gas brolled themselves dead? Dinna bybye, no, no, I
- 55:28Speaker 2: can't do it. Oh my god. What else happened in
- 55:32Speaker 2: this episode?
- 55:33Speaker 3: Well, they got a great tip that was cool his
- 55:36Speaker 3: last charter they did not.
- 55:39Speaker 4: And Alicia Alicia, Alicia gets the helmet, and I love
- 55:47Speaker 4: Captain Jason showing up because she didn't bring it.
- 55:53Speaker 3: She's not you know what it is. I bet that
- 55:55Speaker 3: bothers you about her is that she's not a yachtie.
- 55:58Speaker 3: I know that bothers you. She's acting as though this
- 56:01Speaker 3: is going to like she's passionate about the job of yachting.
- 56:06Speaker 2: What are you doing in here if you're not going
- 56:07Speaker 2: to be passionate?
- 56:08Speaker 3: You know?
- 56:09Speaker 2: But I also hate that helmet. I've never really liked it.
- 56:12Speaker 2: I think it's like it's a humiliation factor that Captain
- 56:17Speaker 2: Jason thinks is really funny and it's just not so Yeah.
- 56:22Speaker 3: I get it, And yeah, I think it would be
- 56:25Speaker 3: better to have a game ball like something to celebrate.
- 56:28Speaker 3: It'd be better if this, like you win the award
- 56:31Speaker 3: of wearing the helmet.
- 56:33Speaker 2: And when the award it's like the cone of shame,
- 56:37Speaker 2: you know, it's like, yeah, so it's awful like here
- 56:40Speaker 2: where especially if someone is like feeling shameful about it. Yeah,
- 56:46Speaker 2: and she did, and a lot of people do. And
- 56:48Speaker 2: the people who don't feel it still feel it, but
