- 0:00Speaker 1: Yeah, welcome back to creep cast.
- 0:21Speaker 2: With a very sick There you go, ham it up,
- 0:25he says he's sick.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Loud. Look, yesterday I was so sick that I was
- 0:31like a small heater. I was like a generator, just
- 0:34shivering in the corner of the couch. It was disgusting.
- 0:38But I can talk now, so it's I'm better.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Do you think that part of the sickness has to
- 0:43do with uh, the second half of Baraska? Do you
- 0:46think that has anything to do with your oldness?
- 0:48Speaker 3: I think this is certainly some kind of karma if
- 0:51if that's what you mean. Everyone everyone was very upset
- 0:56that I was. I was really, if you think about it,
- 0:58I was the criminal in that whole deal, because I'm like, oh,
- 1:01let's come on, hunter, there's this fun little creepypasta called Bosco.
- 1:05You'll love it. So this is I will say justice.
- 1:09Speaker 2: I will say there has been there has been quite
- 1:12the response on it. You know, typically people, you know,
- 1:15we get like three four thousand comments whatever that it's
- 1:17been a day, and there's been already almost like ten
- 1:20ten thousand comments. Yeah, people, you know, it is it's
- 1:23a it's a hard thing. It's it's unbelievable though. There
- 1:26was a lot of people who were in my shoes,
- 1:27so I feel I feel vindicated at least that people
- 1:29were like I was right there with them, so I
- 1:31feel I feel happy.
- 1:33Speaker 3: And most of those like ten thousand comments are like
- 1:35vaguely veiled threats. It's mostly kind of like, this is
- 1:40what did you do? What did you just wrote me into?
- 1:42Speaker 2: And that is true.
- 1:44Speaker 3: Hunter is innocent. I'm sorry, but look, I'm paying for
- 1:46it now. My throat hurts a lot, so you know what,
- 1:50we'll call it even Okay, so no, I.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Think it's even. Yeah, we're being six, We're going yeah,
- 1:55come on, what is the extent here? I mean, let's
- 1:58listen that that deathly call? What you know? I will
- 2:01say today we are doing a bit of a palate cleanser.
- 2:03This is a shorter, you know, but still a good
- 2:05one from the no Sleep subreddit again and the title
- 2:08of this one, at least the subject line is my
- 2:10dead girlfriend keeps message iimmy on Facebook. I've got the screenshots.
- 2:14I don't know what to do which already from that
- 2:16once again, I'm going in blind. I don't know, Isaiah,
- 2:19have you seen this one? You read this?
- 2:21Speaker 3: I think so this story came out like twenty twelve,
- 2:23if I remember right, twenty thirteen.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Another old one.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Okay, it's another old one. I remember listening to like
- 2:29mister Creepypasta's audio version of this when it happened, but
- 2:32I haven't. I've looked at this story in like a decade,
- 2:34so I remember almost nothing about it. Okay, this is
- 2:38one of the classics. This is one of the classics, though,
- 2:43Like there's a few old creepypasta that kind of got
- 2:46passed around the internet, like early campfire stories, you know,
- 2:49so to speak, like the short little slices of horror,
- 2:52and this is one of the OG's as a lot
- 2:54of people remember. So it's a it's a classic, like
- 2:57I said.
- 2:58Speaker 2: For posts like this, because obviously the no Sleep subret
- 3:03has to still be it's an active place, right it
- 3:06seems like around this time, though, how many of these
- 3:08do you think with especially like a title my dead
- 3:11girlfriend keeps the message of me on Facebook. I've got
- 3:13the screenshots. I don't know what to do. It's like
- 3:16a plea for help. It almost seems like it's setting
- 3:18up that this is supposed to be real. Ye do
- 3:20you think does that do post like this still even
- 3:22happen or is it too.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Well, Remember, one of the rules of No Sleep is
- 3:27that it has to appear that the story made it
- 3:31to the board in some like logical way. So there's
- 3:35a lot of people who act as if they're someone
- 3:37looking for help coming to the right, because that's an
- 3:40easy way to you know, lead into the framework, so
- 3:43to speak. But if you like, go to the subreddit
- 3:46right now and scroll through, there are dozens and dozens
- 3:49of scary stories with the title you know, something similar
- 3:52to that.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Okay, well, yeah, I'm glad. I'm glad that that torch
- 3:56is still being passed along as I love it. That's
- 3:58this is fun, I mean, and once again, you know,
- 4:01it really makes me. It really shows. It's very telling
- 4:05that a lot of these I've never heard of, So
- 4:07a lot of these I'm going in as a very
- 4:09helpless little dove, all right, So I don't know, it's
- 4:12a nice thing to feel like if you're hearing this
- 4:14for the first time, we are in the same boat.
- 4:16I am a newbie when it comes to a lot
- 4:18of this stuff. So it's fun. I'm excited to get
- 4:21into it. So without for their ado, why don't we
- 4:24just dive on in.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Let's get into it. Let's dive right in. Do you
- 4:26want to take the first section or.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Me I will I'll take it. Which it starts off
- 4:30by saying, tonight's kind of a catalyst for this post.
- 4:33I just received another message, and it's worse than any
- 4:36of the others. My girlfriend died on the seventh of
- 4:39August twenty twelve. Yeah, she was at the LMFAO album
- 4:43release party. All right, she was involved.
- 4:51Speaker 3: She was involved in crime. Alright. I know those guys should.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Go too early, too early. She was involved in it
- 5:00three car collision driving home from work when someone ran
- 5:03a red light. She passed away within minutes on the scene.
- 5:06We had been dating for five years at this point.
- 5:09She wasn't big on the idea of marriage. It fell
- 5:11ar cake, she said, gave her a weird vibe. But
- 5:15if she had been I would have married her within
- 5:18three months of our relationship. She was vibrant, the kind
- 5:20of girl that would choose dare every time. She was
- 5:23happiest when camping, but a total techno file. She always
- 5:27smelled like cinnamon. That's a very odd way to end deal.
- 5:31I just want to say that I don't think you
- 5:32can go from she was that she was happiest when camping. Hey,
- 5:36she loved technology, and my god, she smelled like cinnamon.
- 5:41It just feels like a smell like cinnamon. She smells sweet.
- 5:45Speaker 3: How would you just grab what she smelled like?
- 5:48Speaker 2: I'm trying to think about how I even described the
- 5:50smell of my wife. This feels weird. Feel like my
- 5:55wife smells like apple sauce.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Yeah, there's no wife's like vanilla, like perfumes and stuff
- 6:02like that a lot, so I would say vanilla. But
- 6:05that's weird. Even though there's logical reasons, it's weird.
- 6:07Speaker 2: To say she smells like vanilla.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Yeah, this is like, okay, are you going to eat her?
- 6:15Speaker 2: If it only feels applicable, if it's like I kind
- 6:18of feel, only feels like if it's applicable. If it's
- 6:20just odd she smells like Calvin kleinkool. She smells like
- 6:25wrangular gene.
- 6:26Speaker 3: Yeah, regardless of how acceptable your reasoning is, it's a weird.
- 6:29It's a weird thing to.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Say she's just odd.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Yeah, it doesn't.
- 6:32Speaker 2: But that being said, here's the thing. She wasn't perfect.
- 6:36She always said something along the lines of if I
- 6:38cart it first, don't just say good things about me.
- 6:41I've never liked that. If you don't pay me out,
- 6:44you're doing me a disservice. I've got so many flaws
- 6:47and that's just part of me. So this is for em.
- 6:51The music she said she liked and the music she
- 6:53actually liked were very different. Her idea of affection was
- 6:56a side hug. She had really long toes like a panze.
- 7:07Speaker 3: She's got long toes. That's so funny.
- 7:09Speaker 2: If you, if you, if you combined the last sentences together,
- 7:13it would say she always smelled like cinnamon. She had long,
- 7:16really long toes like a chimpanzee. Right, I just want
- 7:19to say, I don't know, I don't know. I like that.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Dude, when you're coming to supposedly you're coming to a
- 7:24board to talk about your dead girlfriend message and you
- 7:26very like scary, you know, haunting topic, and in your
- 7:30introduction you're like, she had long toes. She was like
- 7:32a chimp, even almost.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Like she smell like cinnamon. She smelled like a she
- 7:37smell like a bundle of cinnamon sticks.
- 7:39Speaker 3: You know, she keep referencing previous episodes, But this is
- 7:43how I imagine Kyle from Bosco would talk about Kimber.
- 7:46Speaker 2: This is definitely some Kyle. Kyle to Kimber, Thank yo,
- 7:49your toes are mad long yeah, hand me that remote
- 7:54with your foot. I just want to.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Say, those dogs are barking.
- 7:59Speaker 2: But I don't feel right about discussing her without you
- 8:02having an idea of what she was like onto the meet.
- 8:05Em had been dead for approaching thirteen months when she
- 8:08first messaged me, Which is just kind of interesting here
- 8:10because now we're getting something. There's a clickable link and
- 8:13it says September fourth, twenty thirteen, and it opens an
- 8:15image to a Facebook message messenger yep, and at on
- 8:21what is that? September fourth? At three point thirty one,
- 8:24she says Hello. Nathan says, who is this? I'm really
- 8:28it's really weird receiving messages from Emily's account. It was
- 8:31a three thirty one. Immediately at three point forty he
- 8:34put two question marks and said, okay, well, well, in
- 8:37the future, please send me a message from an account,
- 8:40even if you want to discuss her page. And then
- 8:43on the ninth fourth or four minutes later, at three
- 8:45forty four, she put hello again, and at three forty five,
- 8:48Nathan says Susan, your own Emily's account, So it's just
- 8:52it's just like Emily's old account, messaging Hello over and
- 8:56over again. And he says, this is when it began.
- 8:59I have to Emily's Facebook account activated so I could
- 9:02send her the occasional message post on her wall and
- 9:05go through her albums. It felt too final and to
- 9:09on Emily and to on Emily whatever.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Yeah, he's like trying to memorialize the page. That's not something.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, it would have been too unemily like
- 9:20to memorialize it. So I share access with her mother Susan,
- 9:24meaning her mother has her login and password and has
- 9:27spent a total of approximately three minutes on the website
- 9:30or on a computer in total. And after a little confusion,
- 9:33I assumed it was her, which then we do a
- 9:36nice big jump to November sixteenth, twenty thirteen.
- 9:39Speaker 3: I will later. One detail I like about that screenshot
- 9:43is like he's obviously referencing Emily starting a message him,
- 9:46which is the start of the story. But if you
- 9:48look at the previous messages above, you can see that
- 9:51like he was sending her messages like after she died,
- 9:55and it is very heartbreaking. I've heard of that a lot.
- 9:57Someone who loses a loved one kind of text in
- 10:00them the last few things they wanted to say. Yeah,
- 10:03and it's like it's a nice note for the story,
- 10:06Like a nice little note of authenticity makes the characters
- 10:09feel more real. Even though he did say that she
- 10:11smells like cinnamon, it makes it feel more legitimate. So
- 10:15it's a nice touch. I like that.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Yeah, it's always nice. I mean that's always like a
- 10:18treaged part of his story is whenever it's like you
- 10:20you text somebody's phone or something, and it's nice to
- 10:23know that it got sent. And then when you find
- 10:24out that, like you text it one day and it
- 10:27says this number isn't in service anymore. It's just kind
- 10:29of like a stake to the heart kind of thing.
- 10:32So it's nice to do you feel like this character
- 10:34still has an outlet to talk to this person that
- 10:35they really care, that they really cared for. Yeah, and
- 10:38it is nice too, Like it doesn't just start immediately.
- 10:40He doesn't just screenshot you know, the new messages. There's
- 10:43still a little bit in there too. It's just a
- 10:45nice little.
- 10:45Speaker 3: But like I said, it makes it feel more legitimate.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Hey, everyone I wanted to take a quick break from
- 10:51the show just to say that we're very thankful that
- 10:54you're here and thank you so much for watching. It
- 10:57really doesn't mean the world, and now I'm going to
- 11:00immediately eliminate that goodwill by saying you probably stink, and
- 11:04don't take that too personal. A smelly audience really says
- 11:07more about us than it does you. But now we
- 11:10can take care of that together thanks to today's sponsor,
- 11:13scent Bird. We all know how effective a bad odor
- 11:16can be at ruining your social relationships, but what we
- 11:20often overlook is that a good smell can be just
- 11:22as effective in a positive way. But designer fragrances can
- 11:26be expensive, especially when you don't know where to start.
- 11:29But now sent bird is here to help. Cent Bird
- 11:32is a fragrance subscription that lets you try a new
- 11:34designer fragrance every month for just seventeen dollars. Cint Bird

- 12:12before you dive in. This month with cent Bird, I
- 12:15received the dime Core Memory Fragrance, the Tommy Bahamas, Saint
- 12:20Bart's Seascape, and the Michelle Germain's Sexual. I think the
- 12:24Sexual is my favorite, just because it's that kind of
- 12:28heavy masculine scent that I like to wear most of
- 12:31the time. But something about this Tommy Bahamas one made
- 12:33me feel like I was some sea captain in the
- 12:36eighteen hundreds. It's like a very fresh ocean scent that
- 12:41I'm a big fan of. And with centt Bird, you
- 12:43can also skip a month or cancel your subscription at
- 12:46any time. Hassel Free cent Bird is the low cost

- 13:30It really does mean the most. Hope you all check
- 13:32them out. Link is in the description, and we are
- 13:34back to the show.
- 13:35Speaker 2: And you know, we skip a couple months to November,
- 13:38and on November sixteenth, twenty thirteen, we get another hyperlink
- 13:41another text chat here.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Emily says, hello, let's hit up blank trail this Sunday.
- 13:48Nathan responds, who is this? And Emily says, the wheels
- 13:53on the bus and come on, please tell me who
- 13:59you are.
- 14:00Speaker 2: You know, please tell me who you are.
- 14:02Speaker 3: The wheels on the bus.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Come Do you think that that's only do you think
- 14:06that like in text form. That just feels like maybe
- 14:08if it's an audio thing and it's just a person
- 14:10being like the weird bus, right, maybe that maybe that
- 14:16could be perceived as like weird. But yeah, please tell me.
- 14:19He's just like, please tell me who you are? Which, yeah,
- 14:22I don't know. I mean, I'll see. I'm not gonna
- 14:24judge it too hard, you know, I'm not gonna I'm
- 14:25not gonna do it, but I will say I do
- 14:27like the idea of just a conversation just randomly starting
- 14:30again a couple months later and also be so direct
- 14:33by being like, hey, let's go to this trail again
- 14:36this weekend whatever, and it's just like what, who? Who
- 14:40is this? Because at this point too, it's like why
- 14:41would Susan keep doing this and not respond?
- 14:44Speaker 3: Right? Yeah, It's like it's even if it is the
- 14:46mother having access, this is a really weird behavior. Detext
- 14:49your dead daughter's like girlfriend after he after she's been dead,
- 14:54or your dead daughter's boyfriend after she's been dead for
- 14:57over a year.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Yeah, very strange, it is.
- 15:00Speaker 3: And in his description for that screenshot, he says, I
- 15:03received confirmation from Susan that she hadn't logged into EM's Facebook.
- 15:07Since the week of her death, em knew a lot
- 15:09of people, so I instantly assumed this was one of
- 15:12her more tech savvy friends, ah messing with me in
- 15:17the worst possible way. I noticed pretty much immediately that
- 15:22whoever was chatting with me was recycling old messages from
- 15:26m and mine's shared chat history. And then he has
- 15:28a stream shot where you can see that the message
- 15:31let's hit up the trail this Sunday is from an
- 15:33old message that she sent back in March of twenty twelve,
- 15:37So it seems like whoever's messaging him is using recycled
- 15:40stuff from their previous conversation. The wheels on the bus
- 15:43comment was from when we were discussing songs to play
- 15:46on a road trip that never eventuated. Hello, happened a
- 15:50million times.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Hmmm. That is kind of interesting because I don't know.
- 15:56Now it comes into a situation too where it's just like,
- 15:58this is like a sadistic prime yeah, because you know,
- 16:01having the justification that he's like, I'm going to copy
- 16:04this message and just see and then it does have
- 16:07an exact result and stuff. But what's weird though, is
- 16:10with that he doesn't specifically say that the wheels on
- 16:14the bus comment that they said that that was specified
- 16:17in the conversation, right, so that could have been a
- 16:19personal discussion they had. I feel like he probably would
- 16:21have had another screenshot if he had that kind of thing.
- 16:25So it feels odd that that person would also know
- 16:27about that conversation. Once again, it could be a close friend,
- 16:30but it just feels odd. That part feels a bit
- 16:33weird to me.
- 16:33Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, there's extra like we're getting drip fed more
- 16:38strange details, but different options become more and more like
- 16:43hard to believe as the story goes on. It goes
- 16:45from like, oh, maybe it's your mom, maybe it's someone
- 16:47messing with me, And now it's getting like you'll see,
- 16:49you'll see as we keep going.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Yeah, which you want to get this one?
- 16:54Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I'll do this. So around twenty fourteen, Emily
- 16:58started tagging herself in my photos. I would get notifications
- 17:02for them, but the tag would generally always be removed
- 17:04by the time I got to it. The first time
- 17:07I actually caught one, it felt like someone had punched
- 17:09me in the gut. She would tag herself in spaces
- 17:13where it was plausible for her to be or where
- 17:15she would usually hang out. I've got screenshots of two
- 17:18from aprillan June. These are the only ones I've caught,
- 17:21so they're a little out of the timeline I'm trying
- 17:23to ride out. And then he includes two screenshots, so
- 17:28it's a Facebook post. And again, whoever this user is
- 17:32on Emily's account is tagging herself in his images in
- 17:36just these blank spots, where as he said, someone might
- 17:39be but they aren't. Also, okay, just side note, all right,
- 17:44what go ahead?
- 17:46Speaker 2: I mean, are you looking at this image?
- 17:48Speaker 3: Which one the first one.
- 17:50Speaker 2: The screenshot he put so it's like the selfie with
- 17:53the face blacked out and then like the ye the
- 17:55commented door back there, the door with the face.
- 17:59Speaker 3: Okay, so the face is not where the tag is.
- 18:02I was looking at this trying to wonder if it's
- 18:04saying that's Emily, that that face over there is her,
- 18:07or if that's just like a thing in the back.
- 18:09It's clearly creepy, like it's supposed to be creepy whatever
- 18:11it is, right right, it's supposed to be something to
- 18:14mess with you. I don't know if, because the textbox
- 18:17is off of it, if it's saying that is or
- 18:18she's it also don't know how Facebook works. I've never
- 18:21had it. So if the box is right there, does
- 18:24that mean they're specifically tagging that one spot like an Instagram?
- 18:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean you have to like consciously choose a spot,
- 18:31so it could be something where it's like I mean,
- 18:33I'm always reading this as almost as if like she's
- 18:36like maybe like a spiritual form there. And then maybe
- 18:39it's that supposed to be like I don't know, this
- 18:43jpeg creepy face in the darkness, it's supposed to be
- 18:46like a demon or something, or like some kind of
- 18:49entity that it's like with her or something, you know
- 18:51what I mean. Because if not, I mean, to be fair,
- 18:53I think I wonder if the author of this also realizes,
- 18:56like if I put this tag box.
- 18:58Speaker 3: On this, that may be that might be so far.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Yeah, like it's like I'm really playing with fire here.
- 19:07Speaker 3: But the tag box over a few inches.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Yeah, Now it's a mystery. Now conversation.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Now it's a nuanced storyteller effect. Now I'm now I'm
- 19:20doing subversing the norm. And then in the other one,
- 19:23it's just it's literally just like him on a couch
- 19:26next to a tag box. But basically, uh, this fly
- 19:30person whoever's controlling the account keeps tagging herself in his photos,
- 19:35and if you want to take it from there, the
- 19:36rest of that section.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Which I will say in the second photo where it's
- 19:40just uh in the tag whatever, I mean like to
- 19:44me that this is like, this is more crey. This
- 19:46is way more creepy. It works the idea of it
- 19:49just like it's a very casual thing and it's like, oh,
- 19:51I'm sitting here next to you. To me, even if
- 19:53someone was messed with me, I'd be like, this is
- 19:55this is this is pretty fucked up, Like what what
- 19:58is going on?
- 19:58Speaker 3: Why?
- 19:59Speaker 2: Why would someone do this? It feels just yes statistic,
- 20:02which he goes on to say, around this period of time,
- 20:04I stopped being able to sleep. I was too hungry
- 20:07and angry to sleep. She would tag herself in random
- 20:10photos every couple of weeks. The friends who noticed and
- 20:14said something thought it was fucked up. I thought it
- 20:17was a fucked up bug I found out recently. Sorry
- 20:20about that.
- 20:20Speaker 3: No, no, no, I'm laughing because it sounds like it sounds
- 20:23like it's a bug that looks weird, like a physical Yeah.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it's probably just like a moth. You don't have
- 20:30to worry about it, Nathan, You're freaking out, man.
- 20:32Speaker 3: You ever consider it's just a bug? You got like.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Bugs say, it's probably just a lady bug or like
- 20:37a fire ant. Don't even worry about it. I found
- 20:40out recently that there have been friends who have noticed
- 20:43and didn't say anything. Some of them have removed removed
- 20:46me from their Facebook's friends list. Oh wow. So because
- 20:49they see some of these tag things, they're probably assuming
- 20:51that he's the one doing it, and they're probably like, Okay,
- 20:53he's going off the deep end, you know what I mean?
- 20:56Speaker 3: Of course, I mean, like, you know, a guy and
- 20:58then he starts posting picture and his dead girlfriend's tagged
- 21:01in him. Who would you assume is doing it? You know?
- 21:03Speaker 2: I I also and I don't want to, you know,
- 21:06I don't want a dog pile in this guy. But
- 21:09even before he gets into this, I mean, he's talking
- 21:11about like his girlfriend smells like cinnamon, just chimpanzee feet.
- 21:14I bet it was not hard to press that unfollowed down.
- 21:18You know what I mean, My girlfriend or long ass toes.
- 21:22Speaker 3: What he was saying to her when she was alive, right, yeah, exactly,
- 21:26she got like chip feet I bet he was saying
- 21:28some wild stuff to her while she was around.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Oh my god, am your breast smells like pizza rolls.
- 21:35It's like, cool, does your boyfriend have to be here?
- 21:38Speaker 3: She's like, yeah, he went to her funeral the same
- 21:41way Kyle went to Kimber's mom's funeral.
- 21:44Speaker 2: I am under the same impression that Ice as the
- 21:46same universe and they were best friends.
- 21:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Absolutely, the same guy written out of the story because
- 21:50they're like, it's too much.
- 21:51Speaker 3: Yeah, listening to Lincoln Park Way too loud.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Yeah, breaking the habit over and over again. He just
- 21:58keeps asking for more and more. Gun, Yo, can I
- 22:00get another piece of hell?
- 22:03Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 22:03Speaker 2: Man, open up the glove compartment, get yourself some.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Ye.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Just as you just dive, I feel.
- 22:12Speaker 3: Like a lung is gonna fly up here in a second.
- 22:14So that'll be cool if that happens.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Stay tuned. That would be so that'd be so intense.
- 22:19If you actually coughed up an organ, if I died, No, no, no, no,
- 22:24no no, I don't want you to die. I'm just saying,
- 22:25if you coughed up a little piece of your your lung.
- 22:27Because here's what we record this, and I cannot see him,
- 22:30so if something does horrible happen, I'm gonna be like, Okay,
- 22:33come on about it. It's just like a murder scene
- 22:35over there, and I'm like, all right, I'm gonna.
- 22:39Speaker 3: Like fake blood and stuff and start like pouring it
- 22:41out of my mouth. And then like, whenever you go
- 22:43back and watch this recording, you'll be like, oh my gosh.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna watch the edit and be like, oh.
- 22:48Speaker 3: God, he's dead and I killed him.
- 22:53Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I'm sorry, which he goes on to say.
- 22:57At this point, some of you may be wondering, why
- 23:00didn't just kill my Facebook profile. I wish I had.
- 23:03I did for a little while on days when I
- 23:05can't get out there, though, it's nice having my friends
- 23:08available to chat. It's nice visiting M's page when the
- 23:11little green circle isn't next to her name. I was
- 23:14already socially reclusive when M was alive, Oh no way.
- 23:17Her death turned me into something pretty close to a hermit.
- 23:20And Facebook and MMOs were and are my only real
- 23:24social outlets. Oh god, this guy is just he's digging
- 23:28into a whole.
- 23:29Speaker 4: He's like, it's about to be kind of weird. But
- 23:34I have a bit of a social recluse myself at
- 23:37the Facebook and well the wall craft by odly social outlets. God,
- 23:42I miss I missed EBB so much.
- 23:44Speaker 3: I hope it turns out the only reason this is
- 23:46happening is because, like someone got mad when they found
- 23:49out he plays Legal Legends, so they're like, I'm gonna
- 23:52bully this guy.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. They find out, they're like, oh my god,
- 23:56this guy he's like a big league and World of
- 23:58Warcraft player. He's like as chudged that is what he says,
- 24:02and we do go on to March fifteenth. There's another
- 24:05screenshot I am like in the I am like, I'm
- 24:07not gonna lie scrolling through here and clicking the hyperlinks
- 24:09to open up the old chat. It's fun.
- 24:11Speaker 3: It's fun. It's like, I love these interactive stories like
- 24:14that where there's little stuff like sure it may not
- 24:16be the best quality, but I'm having a good time. Yeah.
- 24:19Speaker 1: No.
- 24:20Speaker 2: As an immersive and interactable experience, it's fun.
- 24:23Speaker 3: It's fun. You know.
- 24:24Speaker 2: It's almost like a choose your and adventure thing, except
- 24:26it's already pre chosen for you. But still I feel
- 24:28like I have like, I'm like, okay, we'll open this file. Okay,
- 24:31well this is odd well, Nathan, okay, which Nathan on
- 24:34the March. On the March fifteenth, he says, I sent
- 24:39what I assumed was M's hacker a message, and he
- 24:42just put why are you doing this? Why do you
- 24:44keep tagging her? So he just he goes on the offense.
- 24:47Speaker 3: Here he's trying to ask the account what's going on? Right,
- 24:50And then on March the twenty fifth, it says that
- 24:53he receives an answer. So in the screenshot we have,
- 24:56Emily says hello, and then Hello Hello more times over
- 25:01the course of March the twenty fifth, and Nathan eventually replies,
- 25:04this is actually devastating. I don't know why you enjoy
- 25:07doing this. Emily says, omg cinnamon sent in candles? No, oh, no, cinnamon,
- 25:13Nathan says. Nathan says, go to hell, and Emily says,
- 25:17why are you doing this? Interesting? So, for one, the cinnamon,
- 25:22I'm sure is the reference back. I mean you'll probably
- 25:24explain a second, a reference back to the beginning. But
- 25:26the why are you doing this is a message that
- 25:28he sent, So now it's tupping his messages as well.
- 25:31Speaker 2: I mean, I'm not gonna lie. Having someone just keep
- 25:34harassing you by saying hello is so simple, but is
- 25:36actually horrifying.
- 25:37Speaker 3: Yeah, if it's coming from like your dead girlfriend, absolutely yeah.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Yeah, and especially I love the response of this is
- 25:43actually devastating. I don't know why you enjoy doing this,
- 25:46and they just respond with like a quirky, cute answer,
- 25:49like I've said this word a million times, but it
- 25:51is completely sadistic, and it's just like maniacal at this point,
- 25:55like if it is a hacker, I mean now it's
- 25:59like I'm almost even afraid of just the hacker, not
- 26:01even the fact that it's like my girlfriends, and I'm
- 26:03just like, this is just a weird, demented thing. And
- 26:07to be fair, by this point, would you if you
- 26:09this is like your social media profile and this is you,
- 26:11would you delete it already or would you would you
- 26:13try to like get down to who is doing this?
- 26:15Speaker 3: Well, let's see, if it was wind again, I'd probably
- 26:18keep it because that's my income.
- 26:20Speaker 2: But well, I mean, if you're if you're regular regular
- 26:24Joe Nathan, sure, if this is just if this is just.
- 26:26Speaker 3: A regular I would want to know. I wouldn't because
- 26:30if I if I delete it and never interact with it.
- 26:32I'd spend the rest of my life like, who was that?
- 26:34What was happening?
- 26:35Speaker 2: I would that's true, that's true, And I think I
- 26:38think there's something to be said to where it's like,
- 26:40what if it just depends on what day it is.
- 26:42If some days, if it's just like you feel like
- 26:44you're peeling your skin off, you know what I mean,
- 26:46it might just be easier to be like, I'm just
- 26:48not even gonna look at it. Yeah, But then I
- 26:50feel like, you're right, I feel like it's like a
- 26:51thorn in your side where you would be like, I
- 26:53think it would haunt you if you didn't continuously pursue it.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. And in his description for that previous screenshot,
- 27:00Nathan says, it wasn't until I was going over these
- 27:04low these logs a few months later that I noticed
- 27:06she was recycling my own words as well. My response
- 27:10seems kind of Lackluster're here, I was intentionally providing him
- 27:13or her with emotional bait. This is actually devastating to
- 27:17keep them interested in their game. I was working off
- 27:20the assumption that the kind of person to do this
- 27:22would be the kind of person that would thrive on
- 27:24the distress of others. I was posting in tech forums
- 27:28looking for ways to track this person contacting Facebook. I
- 27:32needed to keep them around so I could gather evidence
- 27:35before anyone asks, yes, I had changed the password and
- 27:38all security info countless times. So now he's he's in
- 27:42the same boat of what we're talking about, of like
- 27:44I have to figure out who this is. So even
- 27:46his response of like this is devastating is just bait
- 27:49to keep this going.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I mean that's the thing is like you're
- 27:53he's trying to set up a trap here, and uh,
- 27:57I mean, hey, got you're setting You're setting up a
- 27:59t right, But at the same time, he's desperately trying
- 28:03to figure out what exactly is happenating is happening, So
- 28:06it's almost like this desperate attempt of like trying to
- 28:10capture something that you have no idea, like hopelessly and
- 28:13desperately trying to capture something, and it kind of sucks.
- 28:16And also he probably feels like he's going insane, and
- 28:18he's even like even the last part here where he
- 28:20says before anyone asks, yes, I had changed the password
- 28:23insecurity info countless times, So he's even trying to like
- 28:27stop people from like questioning possibly this insanity that he's
- 28:31following through this kind of like hyperfixation. It's like a
- 28:34little subtle sprinkle there that I like, Yeah, which on
- 28:37the next one here, on the sixteenth of April, he
- 28:39received this this is another hyperdeal hyperchain. Emily sent me
- 28:44a message on the twenty fifth at two fifty four
- 28:47saying why are you doing this, which is from the
- 28:49deal before, And then on the sixteenth of April at
- 28:54twelve seventeen am, so pretty much midnight, she responded again,
- 28:58or the count responded and said we should make our
- 29:00own jam JFC Samantha, no different, no chance of passing,
- 29:06no chance of passing. How many garage side door side
- 29:14I no chance of passing?
- 29:17Speaker 3: You know. That's actually the first section that's kind of
- 29:19got me a little bit. Yeah, the idea of like, well,
- 29:23this girl dies. And then it's like sections from previous conversations.
- 29:27But it's like the thing that sending them doesn't understand
- 29:29what they mean, so it just keeps re sending them
- 29:32over and over. It's really that's that's kind of a
- 29:34haunting part. I like that. That's a good it's good
- 29:37I do too.
- 29:38Speaker 2: I mean It was the idea too, I said earlier,
- 29:39where like I really liked the idea of just the
- 29:41simple hello approach. It's like an inhuman thing mimicking a
- 29:46human conversation, but recycling conversations in random order, Like it
- 29:50doesn't know how to actually formulate these thoughts or these
- 29:54like conscious conversations. It's kind of weird. His description to
- 29:58that was, this seems like a world's words, Like all
- 30:01of our conversations so far, it's recycled from previous messages.
- 30:04She sent on the twenty ninth of April. Open up
- 30:07another one here twenty ninth, she says, baked beans on toast,
- 30:13which now it seems like these are all happening around midnight.
- 30:15I'm trying to keep I'm also trying to keep a
- 30:17tally on what time, if there's any correlation with like
- 30:20weird uh, you know, because people used see like ghost
- 30:22stuff for like like the the witching hours at three
- 30:25point thirty and that kind of stuff. So I'm trying
- 30:27to see if it's correlating with that at all. But
- 30:29at twelve twenty, I believe it's gonna be midnight. It
- 30:32doesn't say AM or PM, but it says baked beans
- 30:35on toast. I don't know, I just said yo, asked Nathan,
- 30:40and then it says Nathan, Nathan, Nathan. And then Nathan
- 30:44responds about twenty minutes later and says, I don't know
- 30:46what's happening. I don't know how you're still doing this.
- 30:49Please stop, and then she responds almost immediately and says,
- 30:54please stop. I don't know what's happening, Nathan. I don't
- 30:56know what's happening. Happening, which is pretty that's actually punting.
- 31:00Speaker 3: That's pretty good. That's pretty good. Yeah, that I'm in
- 31:03I'm into it.
- 31:04Speaker 2: Yeah. That that that that got me. I love the
- 31:06idea too, of like you asking a question and then
- 31:08now whenever the person repeats it, it takes on a
- 31:10completely Yeah, that's that's fun.
- 31:14Speaker 3: The idea of, like, I think the implication I'm getting
- 31:17set whatever sending these messages is trying to learn how
- 31:19Emily would speak or learn what the words mean. So
- 31:22it's like, that's why it keeps re using old messages
- 31:25to see if he gets the same response, and as
- 31:27soon as Nathan responds, it's it looks like it's starting
- 31:30to put ideas together. I don't know what's happening, Nathan,
- 31:32I don't know what's happening using your dead girlfriend. Oh
- 31:35that's so good. It's like a it's like a digital
- 31:37skin walker almost. Yeah.
- 31:40Speaker 2: I mean here, here's a question I want to ask you.
- 31:43Is there any way where this could be interpreted as
- 31:47her spirit and like whenever, if your spirit goes on
- 31:50or something like that, could it try recontacting you but
- 31:53not be able to like almost like her, like almost
- 31:56like her essence or spirit is trying to relearn as well,
- 31:59like it is her trying to contact him, and it's
- 32:01using her own conversations with him to come back. Yeah,
- 32:05you know what I mean.
- 32:06Speaker 3: There was one culture I can't remember who it was.
- 32:09It may have just been in some like mysticism related
- 32:11to Christianity or whatever. Anyway, there's this belief that when
- 32:14someone dies, they become a ghost that has no memories
- 32:17of their life, so the ghost has to learn everything
- 32:20again as if it's a toddler fully grown up. And
- 32:24that supposedly one of the reasons that at haunted locations
- 32:27you'll see stuff move or like say it in the
- 32:30bedroom of someone who died, you'll see like stuff in
- 32:32there and get shifted around. It's because the ghost is
- 32:35trying to relearn its life and touching stuff to see
- 32:38what to see what it was, or to see what
- 32:41it does. And I kind of get that vibe from this.
- 32:43Speaker 2: I mean that's haunting within itself. Yeah, it's like when
- 32:47if you pass and then you wake up and you
- 32:48have no memory, it's horribly sad.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:50Speaker 2: It also makes me think too if somebody is if
- 32:53they did start and they had no conscious like no
- 32:56recollection of before. But then something even more haunting on
- 32:59thinking is if she slowly begins to realize where she is,
- 33:03and then that's the deal of Like, I don't know
- 33:04what's happening, is somebody coming back to realization but feeling
- 33:08like they're in a different plane of existence as this
- 33:10other person feels kind of creepy too, just kind of
- 33:13like being in the in and out which to get
- 33:15back to it. He uh. His description for this one
- 33:18is I haven't discovered any leads. Facebook had told me
- 33:21the locations her page had been accessed from, but since
- 33:23her death, there are all places I can account for
- 33:26my home, my work, her mum's house. Okay, we know where,
- 33:29we know exactly where we are.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Boo boo, British people, yuck.
- 33:37Speaker 2: My response here wasn't bait Yo asked Nathan was an
- 33:41in joke too lame worth explaining, but seeing her say
- 33:44it again just absolutely crippled me. My reaction in real
- 33:48life was much less prettier. I'm not expecting my bond
- 33:51back her last few messages. Her last few messages had
- 33:55started to scare me. I wouldn't admit it at this point,
- 33:59So now you it's kind of weird, is uh? Do
- 34:02you think it's kind of weird that by this point
- 34:03he's also saying like he's using the words like she
- 34:06instead of hacker and stuff. Do you think he's buying
- 34:09into it a point?
- 34:09Speaker 3: That's a good point. I didn't even catch that. Yeah,
- 34:12it's like he's, uh, you're starting to see her as
- 34:16Emily almost.
- 34:17Speaker 2: That's yeah, I don't. I don't know if he's completely
- 34:20bought in. But at the same time, I think.
- 34:21Speaker 3: That, like the looks very nice.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Well, I've I've had many many dead relatives message me
- 34:28before signs to look.
- 34:31Speaker 3: For I've walked these roads before. I know, I know
- 34:34the stories follow me.
- 34:35Speaker 2: You don't even know how haunting my my space with
- 34:38the dead family members that explains wells.
- 34:41Speaker 3: That explains a lot. Honestly, I distinctly, I distinctly remember
- 34:45watching I think my first introduction to you was the
- 34:47ed Ed and Eddie video about the gunball and I
- 34:50was like, whoever made this had to be an absolute psychopath.
- 34:53Speaker 2: And you know what, I was right, years of years
- 34:56of having a MySpace page with mud vein songs being
- 35:00entering page did not cater to my wellbeing.
- 35:04Speaker 3: I don't think, oh my gosh, that's so what did
- 35:06you have an insane clown posse song on there at
- 35:08one point?
- 35:09Speaker 2: No, no, no, I never got into insane clown posse.
- 35:12I had too much pride, that is to say too
- 35:14if if if we do have any juggalos in our
- 35:17in our fandom here, I just want to say you're welcome.
- 35:19But I don't understand.
- 35:21Speaker 3: I don't know you should want to keep the welcome part.
- 35:23We can tackle that one back, okay.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Or maybe they're not welcome you halfway.
- 35:28Speaker 3: One of the co hosts that you're welcome, so that's
- 35:29a half, that's half.
- 35:32Speaker 2: You know, they like bad music and they you know,
- 35:34they probably like meth.
- 35:35Speaker 3: I don't.
- 35:35Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know what I'm supposed to say,
- 35:37you know what, a different strokes for different folks.
- 35:41Speaker 3: Okay. So the next screene shot is from the eighth
- 35:45of May, and he also gives the hyper length the
- 35:48description that he doesn't really have words for this. This
- 35:52is the following messages again. The first ones from this
- 35:55are on the fifth of May, at around one pm
- 35:57one O seven pm, when Emily says I I twelve fifteen,
- 36:05and then at one twenty two sends a string of
- 36:08messages that says, my jumper's in the dryer and it's
- 36:11really cold out, really cold, out cold cold, Nathan, please
- 36:18stop I cold freezing. I don't know what's happening, all right,
- 36:27that's actually actually, that's actually, it's actually it's actually pretty great.
- 36:30That's pretty creepy. Okay. To make it even worse, his
- 36:33description for that image says, freezing is the first original
- 36:38word she's made.
- 36:40Speaker 2: No very true.
- 36:43Speaker 3: Oh that's that's stuff. It's like it's learning words, but
- 36:45it's describing something awful. This has given me nightmares that
- 36:50have only started to kick in recently. I keep dreaming
- 36:53that she's in an ice cold car, frozen blue and gray,
- 36:57and I'm standing outside in the wharf screaming at her
- 36:59to open the door. She doesn't even realize I'm there.
- 37:02Sometimes her legs are outside with me. Oh, bro, bro,
- 37:07I remember she died in a car accident.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 37:11Speaker 3: He's a picturing her soul stuck in the car, like
- 37:14in the cold weather, talking to him.
- 37:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, like a frozen sarcophagus and he's on
- 37:19the outside, on the outside, unable to help. Those are
- 37:21always the worst dreams too, dude. I'm know if you're
- 37:24having those dreams. I've had dreams where like something happens,
- 37:26like a relative or whatever, and you're like trying to
- 37:28like grab them or whatever or hit somebody, and it's
- 37:31like you have no strength. Those are the those have
- 37:33to be the worst dreams. I hate those.
- 37:35Speaker 3: Yeah, when you're trying to do something and you can't,
- 37:38you can't perform or like get something done. I'll have
- 37:40dreams for like I'm trying to lift something off of
- 37:42someone and even if it's something pretty easy to lift,
- 37:44I just can't do it. It's very it's very you
- 37:47wake up like like stressed out, like you.
- 37:52Speaker 2: I always wake up really exhausted.
- 37:54Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, like you were fire.
- 37:57Speaker 2: Yeah, Like I remember like one time I had this
- 37:59dream where I was running away from somebody who was
- 38:02like some kind of like entity that was chasing me.
- 38:04It might have been something when I was younger, where
- 38:06it might have been like, you know, Adjason vorhe's as character,
- 38:10not necessarily him, but like somebody who's like, oh, this
- 38:12guy's gonna kill me kind of thing, right, And as
- 38:14I was running away, it just like I was like
- 38:17like breathing really heavily, and I just which would have
- 38:20been very much like real life. But I sat there
- 38:22and I uh like it was almost like all of
- 38:24my muscles were just like giving out and I was gassed.
- 38:27And when I woke up, I like my whole body
- 38:30was just like physically exhausted. And I'm wondering if it's
- 38:32like when you're in those situations too, in those dreams,
- 38:34if you're like all of your muscles are like contracting,
- 38:36or if you're like squeezing stuff or actively like you know,
- 38:39you're like like moving, or your muscles are gyrating in
- 38:43some kind of way. Who knows, but it's I don't.
- 38:46I hate those dreams. It's the worst. It, especially have
- 38:48nightmares where you're like you're watching something as very real
- 38:52as your girlfriend be trapped in a car and having
- 38:54all these things, they would just be too much. At
- 38:56what point I'd be like when am I gonna get
- 38:57a break?
- 38:58Speaker 3: Yeah? I just want to sleep, bro, it's not worth it.
- 39:02Like there's there's like a lot of nightmares I've had,
- 39:07especially around like loved ones dying and stuff like that.
- 39:09None that intense, but something like that messes with people.
- 39:12Speaker 2: Man, oh one hundred percent, I mean it had. There's
- 39:16definitely psychological things that have ripples into your brain of
- 39:19your brain trying to process things and like not necessarily
- 39:22delete memories, but it's like thoughts or whatever things that
- 39:25your brain is processing and then unfortunately it just fought
- 39:28it falls in the file cabinet of dreams where it
- 39:31feels super real and horrifying. So that's unfortunately just your
- 39:35brain working and what's kind of weird too. So far
- 39:38to go back even talk about this a bit is
- 39:39like the time jumps in stuff. There's something pretty torturous
- 39:43about like he gets about a week or two off
- 39:46now or something like maybe a month at most, but
- 39:49now it's like he gets a week or two off.
- 39:51He has to deal with the things that he's like
- 39:53he's trying to process stuff, and then something just kind
- 39:55of like rears its head back and it's like, hello,
- 39:58here's another message. I mean that could be tortuous. Yeah,
- 40:00there's no end. You almost wish it would happen consecutively
- 40:03and then something, you know, let it be done with. Instead,
- 40:05it's just like this very it's like blood letting or
- 40:08something slowly, slowly you're just seeping out from the inside.
- 40:12It just it would suck.
- 40:13Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I'm bothered with it. This is better than
- 40:17I remember so far. I like the new one.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Yeah, what's weird is it started kind of cheesy, but
- 40:21I'm getting I'm invested now, even in so much of
- 40:23just like just clicking the hyperlinks. It's like kind of
- 40:26like opening up documents like an SEP thing. Yeahright, levels
- 40:29or whatever.
- 40:30Speaker 3: It's fun.
- 40:30Speaker 2: It's it's fun feeling like you're getting to snoop around something.
- 40:33It's nice. Which on the twenty fourth of May, we
- 40:35get another message from him and it says this at
- 40:38uh at twenty two to fifty three. Oh now we're
- 40:41going into like commanded up.
- 40:46Speaker 3: He's making this operation.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Which this would be like at ten at night, right, yeah, no,
- 40:57this is midnight fifty three.
- 40:58Speaker 3: Sorry, I'm very stupid. You're right. This is ten fifty Yeah, it's.
- 41:01Speaker 2: Ten ten yeah. HER's is midnight seven yeah yeah, yeah,
- 41:07so like ten fifty three. He says, I'm really drunk.
- 41:11I miss you whoever's on this account. I don't give
- 41:14a fuck. I keep coming home from work and expecting
- 41:17to see you at the computer. Shouldn't I be used?
- 41:20Shouldn't I be used to that by now? And then
- 41:23about two hours later, Emily messages and says, you used
- 41:29let me walk, ust let me walk.
- 41:32Speaker 3: It made me trying to say just let me.
- 41:34Speaker 2: Walk, yeah, or just let me talk is what I
- 41:37was thinking, Just let me walk in okay, just let
- 41:41me walk. And curious to see what his description is.
- 41:45He said I was actually I was actually drunk, or
- 41:48I wasn't actually drunk. She wasn't an affectionate girl, and
- 41:52it always embarrassed her to exchange I love youse, cuddle
- 41:55and talk about how much we meant to each other.
- 41:57She was more comfortable with it when I was boozed up.
- 42:00I got fake drunk a lot, poor guy.
- 42:03Speaker 3: Yeah her, that's pretty sad, all right, continue her reply. Yes,
- 42:07I'm just like damn dude. That sucks man, glad she's dead, though,
- 42:11am I right up to up top?
- 42:12Speaker 2: You want to get not fake drunk together? And like,
- 42:14I don't know. Her reply is what prompted me to
- 42:17finally memorize. Memorial memorialize her page, memorialize. Oh my god.
- 42:24Her reply is what prompted me to finally memorialize her page,
- 42:27thinking it might help me curb this behavior. It might
- 42:29seem innocuous compared to a previous message. It pasted from
- 42:32an old conversation where I was trying to convince her
- 42:35to let me drive her home from a friends. In
- 42:37the collision, the dashboard had crushed her. She was severed
- 42:40in a diagonal line from her right hip to the
- 42:43midway down her left thigh. One of her legs was
- 42:45found tucked on the back seat.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Oh my god, word.
- 42:49Speaker 3: Oh no, no, I think I see, Oh I think
- 42:51I see what's going on here. So maybe, Okay, So
- 42:54it says that there was a previous conversation and he
- 42:56was trying to convince her to let him drive her home, right.
- 43:01Speaker 2: So maybe is it trying to assume that she was drunk?
- 43:03Speaker 3: That's what I think. Maybe there was some like maybe
- 43:07she got drunk the night of the crash and says
- 43:09in the collision, she was crushed, she was severed in half,
- 43:13and one of her legs was found tucked under the
- 43:14back seat, and the message is from a time when
- 43:17he was trying to convince her to not drive drunk,
- 43:19and the phrases just let me walk, bro oh oh.
- 43:26Speaker 2: Just let me walk.
- 43:27Speaker 3: Yeah, her legs are gone.
- 43:28Speaker 2: But you it's interesting too, though, is it's? Well, here's
- 43:32the thing, is it? Do you think? Well, I don't
- 43:33know where the message gonna come from, but that having
- 43:35the J there feels like it's a typo of some kind.
- 43:39I think it is to where it's like somebody must
- 43:41be typing instead of a copy past situation.
- 43:43Speaker 3: Again Yeah, yeah, Well, he says, it's from an old
- 43:45conversation when she was drunk and talking, so she was
- 43:49probably drunk and didn't put the J like made a typo,
- 43:52So that that was one of her messages from back
- 43:54whenever they were having this conversation where he was trying
- 43:56to convince her to let him drive. So well, yeah,
- 44:00it's just coffee pasting her message from back then. But
- 44:03now there's way too much sense to it. He's describing
- 44:05being drunk and she uses a message from when she
- 44:08was drunk or when the real Emily was drunk, and
- 44:11it's specifically about walking, which, of course, as mentioned, she
- 44:14lost her legs in the accident.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Hey.
- 44:15Speaker 2: Then the next text of look Too says, going back
- 44:18in time, seventh of August twenty twelve, I'm kind of
- 44:20interested here, which on August seventh he said, Hey, you
- 44:24on your way home? Question mark Emily. Then, like maybe
- 44:28twenty minutes later, he says, when you see this message,
- 44:31please ring me straight away. I rang blank and they
- 44:34said you left it four. I'm starting to panic. I
- 44:37feel sick in my stomach. Please ring me. A couple
- 44:41hours go by, Emily, Emily, answer your phone.
- 44:46Speaker 3: This is when she had the accident.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, And it says these logs were from the
- 44:50day she died. She was usually home from work by
- 44:53four thirty. This alongside a couple of voicemail messages and
- 44:55the last time I talked to her under the assumption
- 44:57that she was alive. You'll see why I'm showing you
- 45:00these soon. On the this is the looks like the
- 45:02last one, it says. The hyperlink says yesterday, the first
- 45:05of July twenty fourteen, and it says, Oh, she messaged
- 45:10him nineteen nineteen, which that would have been nine nine nineteen.
- 45:14Speaker 3: At night seven seven nineteen.
- 45:16Speaker 2: Hey, are your way home, Emily? When you see these messages,
- 45:19please ring me straight away. Please stop. I rang blank
- 45:23and they said you left it five. I'm starting to panic.
- 45:25Please stop cold, Emily, Emily, answer your phone. I don't
- 45:31know what's happening. Cold freezing. That was over the course
- 45:34of about an hour.
- 45:40Speaker 3: That's good, that's good.
- 45:41Speaker 2: That goes hard, okay, he says. I memoralized her page
- 45:45a couple of days after receiving the message about walking.
- 45:48Until today, she'd been quiet. She wasn't even tagging herself
- 45:51in my photos. I don't know what to do anymore.
- 45:54Do I kill her memorial page? What if it is her?
- 45:57I want to puke. I don't know what's happening. I
- 46:00just heard of Facebook, alerk. I'm too afraid to swap
- 46:02windows and check it. And that's where it ends.
- 46:05Speaker 3: I like it. That was good. That was good.
- 46:09Speaker 2: It's always really fascinating when something this short can be
- 46:12such a fun, captivating thing. And that's one thing I
- 46:14like about these short stories, is uh using social media
- 46:19in a complex way. You don't see a lot of
- 46:21movies or like a lot of new narratives by like
- 46:25I don't know traditional mediums like like I said, like
- 46:27movies or something, because usually they would take this and
- 46:30it would be like, what the fuck is that movie?
- 46:32That zoom call movie is unfriendly and it's like the
- 46:38girl he bullied in school, she's a ghost now and
- 46:40she's haunting us, and it's it's like that there's something really,
- 46:45you know, And they've they've tried doing some stuff like
- 46:47this with messing with social media. Like I thought, was
- 46:50uh that one with the guy who's trying to find
- 46:53his daughter, I think it's just called missing. I think
- 46:55it might just be called missing. I can't remember. But
- 46:57he's like going through her Facebook and it's all kind
- 46:59of from the perspective of his computer and social media
- 47:01and stuff. But it's very effective. It's fun to see
- 47:04somebody who has clearly used this kind of thing and
- 47:08writing something that is for an audience of people on
- 47:11social media who use it in this way as well,
- 47:14and who could also comprehend that you can like make
- 47:16something fun and believable like this. It's just a lot
- 47:18of fun. And also to end it too on such
- 47:21a fun little moment where're like, what what happened? And
- 47:24then you just know, kind of like Ted the Caver.
- 47:26Speaker 3: Yeah, it's kind of stops like right before, right before
- 47:30what would naturally be the conclusion point of a story,
- 47:33and here it's to build up the fear. It's a
- 47:35thing seen in a lot of you know, classic horror stuff.
- 47:39Speaker 2: What do you think the emphasis on cold and freezing is?
- 47:41Do you think it's just like that?
- 47:42Speaker 3: I think I think if I had to guess his
- 47:46whole dream of seeing her trapped in a car in
- 47:49like the freezing cold, I think her spirit still out there,
- 47:52just kind of like left outside in the cold, maybe
- 47:54maybe like proverbially inside of a car, and she's freezing,
- 47:58and she's trying to reach out to him to get
- 47:59him to help her, but these communications is all she
- 48:01can get through.
- 48:02Speaker 2: What's so haunting about this too is the idea of
- 48:04not being able to help, you know what I mean,
- 48:07because this spirit could be reaching out to them and
- 48:10trying to find Like I think the part of the
- 48:13thing here is that the poster here is like saying,
- 48:18like you kind of by the end, you kind of
- 48:20feel that they believe that it is her I know
- 48:23that they say they're like, you know what if it
- 48:27is her, But I think that it's almost like reading
- 48:29in a way where someone's like wanting that validation of
- 48:31someone being like it probably is because you want it
- 48:33to be real. And it's that feeling too, where it's
- 48:35like you just have no way of helping somebody or
- 48:39no way of communicating with them, especially if it's something
- 48:41where somebody's just rescending messages, almost as if they're accessing
- 48:45another computer and just pasting and copying and pasting.
- 48:49Speaker 3: There is a screenshot. So after this guy made the story,
- 48:55he added an update to his page that is technically
- 48:58the ending of the story.
- 49:00Speaker 2: Oh really, it's like a.
- 49:01Speaker 3: One page thing. I have to type in. I hate
- 49:04it here. I have to type in the link. Let
- 49:06me send you the screenshot.
- 49:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I say, show me the show me the screenshot you're.
- 49:11Speaker 3: The image of requesting does not exist. Do not tell
- 49:13me this is lost media. I will throw up. I
- 49:17will I will do something painful right now, don't you dare?
- 49:23Do not tell me these two images.
- 49:25Speaker 2: Yeah, we're trying to. We have to. We can't actually
- 49:28click the photos. We have to actually type in the
- 49:31Oh I.
- 49:32Speaker 3: Found the post. Okay, cool, we're so back. We're so back.
- 49:36Speaker 2: All right, you found it?
- 49:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I found it. Yeah, yeah, we're good. We're back.
- 49:41All right. This is his update. Let me copy the links.
- 49:43Speaker 2: And oh I found it too, Yeah, I found it.
- 49:45Speaker 3: Okay. The update where he says I checked the alert.
- 49:48Speaker 1: Oh oh like that.
- 49:52Speaker 3: Oh no, no, that was the worst thing. Oh no,
- 49:57oh no, oh my gosh. All right, well, I wish
- 50:00I didn't find that.
- 50:02Speaker 2: I want to. I've only seen the one where it's
- 50:04just a computer. I'm putting in the other one. And
- 50:06then the message says freezing, So this feels very threatening
- 50:10and that's definitely him. So it's a zoom in again.
- 50:12I'm guessing his window and that's his computer.
- 50:15Speaker 3: Yep. Oh no, oh no.
- 50:18Speaker 2: And then here the post says I checked the alert.
- 50:20I heard it as I was compiling and editing the post.
- 50:22This is the message. That's my door, that's my computer.
- 50:26It's taken from outside. I got the message three hours ago,
- 50:29but didn't check it until now. I'm on my tablet
- 50:32in my garage zen for now going to drive to
- 50:35a friends. Forgot to open the garage door in my panic,
- 50:38so building up the nerve to get out to do that.
- 50:39Now I should be scared. I've occasionally opened a uh,
- 50:43I've occasionally opened a heart just fucked up, just fucked up.
- 50:47It's very not me. She's more real to me in
- 50:50that state. What I don't know.
- 50:53Speaker 3: That last line is what hold on? Hold on? Okay,
- 50:56So for one, those images are terrifying that just now,
- 50:59after he cut it off to like not talk to
- 51:01it anymore, it's showing up outside of his house, like
- 51:04you can imagine, like the gray, ghostly emaciated figure of
- 51:07his dead girlfriend right outside his door. This is like,
- 51:10this is classic like creepy pasta, right, this is like
- 51:14old school campfire. The hooked man was waiting at the door,
- 51:18you know, like, yeah, oh gee kind of thing. I'm
- 51:21here for it. I like it.
- 51:23Speaker 2: It is fun and it completely I hate is. I
- 51:27was like, what if it's a nice spirit?
- 51:30Speaker 1: You know, you know what I mean?
- 51:31Speaker 2: Right, I'm kind of mad.
- 51:33Speaker 3: Now that's your fault. I'm like, that's your fault.
- 51:36Speaker 2: Emily, you you god, you deceptive woman. It feels like
- 51:42it's like who even knows if it's even her? Like
- 51:44I like, now I don't even know. I was so
- 51:46sure too that it was Emily, but now it's like
- 51:48if it is, then it's like, well, why why is
- 51:50she punishing him or why is she cuming after him
- 51:52like this? Because also it's so cryptied and creepy and
- 51:55even now okay, so let me ask you this now,
- 51:58with these pictures of the photo, are you even are
- 52:00you even thinking this is a ghost anymore? Or do
- 52:02you think this is like a stalker.
- 52:05Speaker 3: It could be a ghost. I don't think it's a stalker.
- 52:08I would I would say maybe the stories leaning more
- 52:11towards like she's like a ghoul, you know, like a
- 52:14monstrous zombie almost thing, not zombie, like shut up, not
- 52:19zombie and like the the roaming dead sense. I mean
- 52:23like she's like it's like the maciated skeleton or something
- 52:26like that, Like there's some horrific figure standing just outside
- 52:29the door.
- 52:31Speaker 2: Hm hmm. I don't know. I don't know how I
- 52:35like that.
- 52:36Speaker 3: You don't like zombies. You don't like weird zombie girlfriends.
- 52:40If your wife died, you wouldn't like it if she
- 52:43was a zombie. I think that'd be pretty cool.
- 52:45Speaker 2: I mean, I would love to have a wife zombie.
- 52:47Don't get me wrong, I'm I'm just saying that what
- 52:52feels weird is like it just doesn't feel like he
- 52:55deserves this kind of like it would be different if
- 52:58the if the story preps you and it's like, oh,
- 53:01you know, she always was abusive to it, like like
- 53:05anything that made it seem like she would come get him.
- 53:07But at this point, it's like, well, why is she?
- 53:09Why is she hunting him down? Right? If anything, shouldn't
- 53:12this be like, Oh, I'm like if this post was
- 53:15like I accidentally was drunk driving, you know, a couple
- 53:19of years ago and I hit somebody and I've had
- 53:22to live with this shame forever, and now it's like
- 53:24the person is coming back to get them for taking
- 53:25their life. Right, But it's like it just feels like
- 53:28it's like, Okay, well, why the fuck are you messing
- 53:29with this guy? Then? To me, it feels even weirder
- 53:31if a person's like this person, if it's like a
- 53:35stalker thing or not even like just just a regular
- 53:38human being. Right, But then they got access to your
- 53:41dead girlfriend's account, and they've been fucking with you this
- 53:43whole time, and now they're they're like reaching even further
- 53:46now and now they're taking pictures of you they know
- 53:48where you live. Also, they would have to have some
- 53:50kind of communication with Susan, I would imagine to get
- 53:53this information. So it's like, where the fuck is Susan
- 53:55during all this? Where is Susan? How do we know
- 53:59it's not Susan? Sure she says it's not me.
- 54:02Speaker 3: How do we know that's possible?
- 54:04Speaker 2: What if it's Susan? What if? Hey? What if the
- 54:06old boy? What so with the old boy? What if
- 54:09the old bull? Want some of the young calf Right?
- 54:12I always admired you, you know I have my daughter
- 54:16never appreciated you. Nathan right, crazy old mom want a
- 54:21piece of Nathan.
- 54:22Speaker 3: That's creepy, I mean yeah, okay, Maybe it is the mom.
- 54:25Maybe it's her stocking. Maybe she blames Nathan for doing it,
- 54:29hence the freezing thing and all that. Maybe it is that,
- 54:32or maybe maybe her essence, her spirit, her existence in
- 54:35this realm has been taken over by some evil entity.
- 54:38And maybe it's learning how she spoke, it's learning her
- 54:41communications with someone she was close to try to find
- 54:45a way in.
- 54:46Speaker 2: But why why do you think him?
- 54:49Speaker 3: Well? I mean like if okay, so if you if
- 54:51you died right? Right? And a spirit was to fill
- 54:54in your spot in reality, who is the closest person
- 54:58to you that it would.
- 54:59Speaker 2: Begin to latch Yeah, I mean my wife?
- 55:02Speaker 3: Yeah? Sure, right, So I'm saying maybe Nathan was the
- 55:05closest thing it had to latch onto. Maybe that's why
- 55:07it's stalking him.
- 55:09Speaker 2: Mmmm. So you're saying that it's just using like a
- 55:12mask or like it's it's using this thing to communicate
- 55:15with him, but it actually has nothing to do with
- 55:17his wife.
- 55:17Speaker 3: Yes, exactly, that's the theory I have.
- 55:19Speaker 2: That's fine. I mean I like that, you know, if
- 55:22she was more affectionate, I don't even mind the idea
- 55:24of its being of it's her and it's like her
- 55:27trying to come back to him, but it's just perceived
- 55:29in a creepy way. But it's just like he made
- 55:31it very very clear. He makes it clear many times,
- 55:34which is I want to know the intention of this.
- 55:36That's like, she is not affectionate at all, and I'm
- 55:38wondering if they're if he's prepping that up to where
- 55:40it's like that's why it's so weird too, that this
- 55:43person would come back and is trying to talk to
- 55:46him in that way. You know what I mean closing
- 55:48down that that argument, because you could have something where
- 55:51it's like the like a creepy thing where it's an
- 55:54undying love, you know what I mean. Even even that
- 55:57kind of uh, that kind of on between somebody we're
- 56:01together forever, you know, that could be kind of creepy.
- 56:06I like the idea.
- 56:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I like that. Maybe after death, you know, her
- 56:10spirit or what's left of it, like the rotted remains
- 56:13of her spirit, is still drawn to him.
- 56:17Speaker 2: So are we under the impression too that this ghoul,
- 56:19that this this entity has like a polaroid camera and
- 56:23I just took a picture.
- 56:24Speaker 3: Well, you know what if you want to that hard No, no, no, no,
- 56:28I'm not nitpicking.
- 56:29Speaker 2: I'm just asking questions. Like I'm not. I have learned
- 56:34my lessons from the Russian sleep experiment. I am not nitpicking.
- 56:38I am just posing a question, and I am thinking
- 56:41visually of like an iPhone four s floating around and
- 56:45taking a picture. Is that the case I need to know?
- 56:48Speaker 3: It could? Or maybe it's eyes or cameras Hunter, have
- 56:50you ever considered that maybe it's one of the camera.
- 56:53Speaker 2: An apple ghoul an apple for sure, that the eye
- 57:00ghouls as it were, you know, what I don't. I
- 57:03don't hate any of the theories that you're saying. I'm
- 57:06just saying in terms of like trying to find it's
- 57:08kind of like it's it's the shitty argument, and it's
- 57:10a shitty thing you have to think about in like
- 57:12even found footage films, which is like why are they
- 57:14still recording right right? So with this, it's like if
- 57:18there's a picture, what the hell are we what are
- 57:20we doing here? So, yeah, I love it. It's a fun visual.
- 57:24It's creepy as shit whenever I'm sitting there. But the
- 57:26more that I reflect on it, the more I'm like.
- 57:28Speaker 3: Well, we'll treat it this way. Treat it this way.
- 57:30The story ended at the freezing line, right at the
- 57:33last message that she sends them, and then he adds
- 57:36the picture part later, So that's like DLC, that's like
- 57:40extra lore.
- 57:41Speaker 2: You don't, yeah, like if we never looked into it,
- 57:43because I kind of I mean, here's the thing. Let
- 57:45me ask you this. Do you like the ending being
- 57:48where we first had it or do you like it
- 57:50more with the picture?
- 57:51Speaker 3: Admittedly I like it more where we first had it.
- 57:54Admittedly I think it works as a better jump scare.
- 57:58To show a picture of his house, so to speak.
- 58:00But I think the more impactful ending is her just
- 58:03saying the words freezing, because then the audience is left
- 58:05to imagine maybe it's her soul, maybe it's her body
- 58:08dead in the ground, or maybe it's her spirit out
- 58:11in the cold, or maybe you know, something to that effect.
- 58:13Maybe that's what the freezing line means. It's more ambiguous,
- 58:16so therefore it lets you fill in more scary parts.
- 58:18It's showing up outside of his house is much more mainstream, straightforward.
- 58:23I don't think it's as interesting per se. But the
- 58:25original story ends with Emily's ghosts saying freezing.
- 58:29Speaker 2: The idea too of, like I mean, I was having
- 58:31fun theorizing what kind of contact this is, you know,
- 58:35because it never does answer you if it's the hacker
- 58:39or if it is Emily, And then the idea too
- 58:41of it's like trying, like I was having fun formulating
- 58:44ideas with you about like is it somebody reaching out?
- 58:46Like even you saying like sometimes people say that, like
- 58:49you know, ghosts are touching their like their consciousness resets
- 58:54and they have to go and they're like touching and
- 58:56trying to like like find out basically who they are. Again,
- 59:00that's all good and fun, and I you know, the
- 59:02visual of this is super creepy, but it leaves me
- 59:05with more questions where I'm like, what, you know, it's
- 59:08a it's a great hunting image, but I almost like
- 59:12it before the picture. I almost like this more before
- 59:15the picture because I feel like, also, we get so many,
- 59:20so many like fun text logs and clicking and stuff
- 59:23like that. It almost makes you wish that if you
- 59:25were going to introduce to the picture thing, maybe introduce, like,
- 59:28you know, I think something, not that I think something's
- 59:31looking at me, but do you think that there should
- 59:32have been like some kind of picture before that instead
- 59:36of screenshots, you know what I mean? Maybe some little thing. Yeah,
- 59:39I think somebody's looking at me or something. Right, I continue.
- 59:43If this was a longer story, then I think there's
- 59:47a lot more you could do to flesh it out.
- 59:49Speaker 3: Absolutely, yeah, I think so. Uh so I also have
- 59:53something interesting so that post that we didn't understand what
- 59:57it means. Yeah, the one that's like I should be scared.
- 1:00:00I've occasionally opened a heart that whole thing. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:00:03it turns out someone went through someone named Holly. Yo,
- 1:00:07what up, thank you. Holly went through all of his
- 1:00:10replies on that post and that the phrases he says
- 1:00:14there is a conglomeration of everything he said in the
- 1:00:18previous messages in other replies. Oh so that last message
- 1:00:23that doesn't make sense where he's like, it's very not me.
- 1:00:25She's more real to me in that state. That is
- 1:00:28a word salad of things he said. So it's implying
- 1:00:31that whatever spirit got her has now gotten.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: Him, not gotten him. That's fun.
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that's a cute. That's a cute little yeah.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: I like that, especially the idea of like the first
- 1:00:42two things are so cohesive that it kind of seems
- 1:00:44like a gottam mid typing.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: Know what I mean, Like it got him while he
- 1:00:49was like, yeah, I'm in my garage blah blah blah,
- 1:00:51and then as he was doing that, boom, Yeah, yeah
- 1:00:55got him.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: That's pretty good. That's that's a fun ending that he
- 1:00:57sends a bunch of replies to his original post, and
- 1:01:01then one final message is like a conglomeration of that,
- 1:01:05implying that he was taken by the same spirit as well.
- 1:01:08That's pretty good.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: I almost kind of wish here too. If I had
- 1:01:12to say it, wish that that the last links instead
- 1:01:14of being the picture. If it was something where it
- 1:01:16was like a like something where he clicked it, and
- 1:01:18even when he uploaded it was initially meant to be
- 1:01:20like this file has been deleted or like it was
- 1:01:22scrambled or something to where it's like You're like, what
- 1:01:25what was that thing that he posted before? You know
- 1:01:27what's missing from this thing? Yep, But I do think
- 1:01:30that it is some kind of entity or something. I mean,
- 1:01:32I'm already forgetting that at the beginning of this. There's
- 1:01:35really the only the only actual complaint I have with
- 1:01:38this whole thing is just the first image with like
- 1:01:42the the tag box thing and then like the jpeg.
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: So someone did this. Hold on, let me copy paste
- 1:01:47it for you. I was throwing through his replies on
- 1:01:49it to see what he said. I copy pasted the
- 1:01:51same thing twice. I'm stupid. Okay, hold on this right here.
- 1:01:57Someone was in the replies. They brightened the image and
- 1:02:01said that it looks like a girl's outfit. So the
- 1:02:06thing the like lined around the waist has a heart
- 1:02:08in the middle of it, so it kind of looks
- 1:02:10like a belt with a heart, and then the two
- 1:02:13like bright things on top are like they look like shoulders.
- 1:02:17And there's a portion in one of his replies where
- 1:02:21he says, I have no idea what that hold on.
- 1:02:24Let me find his specific message about it.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: He left one of the replies he said, ha ha,
- 1:02:30I thought that this is After someone asked a question saying,
- 1:02:33what was that thing in the picture, He says, ha ha,
- 1:02:36I thought that might generate some questions. I'm fairly sure
- 1:02:39it's the flash reflection of my bathroom vanity. Weird reflection, though,
- 1:02:42been trying to recreate with no luck. Scratch that the
- 1:02:45vanity is set back further than that angle doesn't make sense.
- 1:02:48I didn't notice it until I was uploading it today. Edit.
- 1:02:52Been trying to recreate since I saw this comment, taking
- 1:02:55pictures from every angle, same lighting conditions, same phone, no die.
- 1:03:00To be honest, I was kind of hoping you guys
- 1:03:02would dismiss it as nothing. I'm not sure if I'm
- 1:03:04just hyper sensitive at the moment or what, but I'm
- 1:03:06starting to get freaked out.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: Is this before? So this is the original poster? Counting
- 1:03:11this correct?
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: Yes? Correct? So?
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: Is this before or after that last post?
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Uh?
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: Okay, so this entire account Nate sw is just dedicated
- 1:03:21to the short story. So he makes the original post,
- 1:03:24and then he makes all of these replies like within
- 1:03:27a couple days of each other, with his final reply
- 1:03:30being the conglomeration one, the one that's like, I should
- 1:03:33be scared. I've occasionally opened to heart that whole thing.
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: Oh, good for it. Good okay, cool cool cool?
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: Yeah so this so this he said that about the
- 1:03:40thing in the mirror before he gave the final message
- 1:03:44that implies he died. His second to last message was
- 1:03:47the one with the pictures that shows.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: His own vend Yeah, the update.
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: Yeah, so he's posts that, and then it's the word
- 1:03:54solid one. So whatever was outside of his window got
- 1:03:56him basically.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: I uh, I really I love the idea of this
- 1:04:00count being dedicated to this one thing and to have
- 1:04:03the interactive thing, I mean, to be one of the
- 1:04:06commentaries on this and then to get the person to
- 1:04:08respond to it. It's such a fun. It's just so's
- 1:04:14it's such a fun immersive experience. And also good for
- 1:04:18them for also ending it completely with that last post.
- 1:04:21Very sick, I mean, like super super fun.
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a lot of fun. Like I said, this
- 1:04:25is one of the the internet campfire stories, so to speak.
- 1:04:28I remember friends setting around talking about it and they
- 1:04:31make jokes like freezing, like they'd say it in the
- 1:04:33goat man voice or whatever. Like I remember like being
- 1:04:36out of sleepover and a group of guys were telling
- 1:04:38the story, and I'm sure we got most of the
- 1:04:41details wrong, but I remember my friend going the messages
- 1:04:44just kept saying freezing, freezing, and I remember like, get
- 1:04:48everyone getting freaked out over that. It's fun. Like I said,
- 1:04:50it's like a campfire story. I like it a lot.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah's it would be fun to be people also
- 1:04:57in the earlier days of you know, they said this
- 1:05:00was posted like ten years ago when this first came out,
- 1:05:02Sending this link to each other and being like did
- 1:05:04you do did this? You know, like an and and
- 1:05:06seeing it people interact with it, and the poster interacting
- 1:05:09with it too. It's such a fun way to utilize
- 1:05:11the Internet. I also want to say to keep I
- 1:05:13keep fixating on this, the brightened image of this thing
- 1:05:16with the heart, you know, with the vanity and stuff.
- 1:05:18The two things are supposed to be the shoulders. It
- 1:05:20looks like two hands flipping off the camera. Oh interest,
- 1:05:24it's what I say, is what I said. I don't
- 1:05:26know if that's essentially well.
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: Remember he describes her as being very sarcastic, not lovey
- 1:05:30dovey stuff like that. Maybe this was an image of
- 1:05:33her at some point that's been burned into the photo
- 1:05:36or something like that.
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: The belt thing that the very the very, the extremely
- 1:05:41clear heart though is what's confusing though, especially and then
- 1:05:46the last post he says, I should be scared I
- 1:05:53have occasionally opened a heart. I should be scared. I've
- 1:05:57occasionally opened a heart just fucked up. It's very not me.
- 1:06:02I don't know why that the heart line. Do you
- 1:06:04think that that seems too serendipitous? I mean, what does
- 1:06:06that even?
- 1:06:07Speaker 4: So?
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: What I think that is open to heart? I think
- 1:06:10once again that's a word slid because again Holly went
- 1:06:12through all of his replies and found where he said
- 1:06:15those words. And in response to someone sending that brightened
- 1:06:19image of what you say as a girl flipping off
- 1:06:21the camera or whatever, in his reply to that, he says,
- 1:06:24I don't really own anything with a heart on it,
- 1:06:27and no one was over that night. That's definitely heart
- 1:06:30like though, really weird and then, so that's where you
- 1:06:34get the phrase in there where he says a heart.
- 1:06:36There's another part where he says she's more real to me.
- 1:06:39There's a part where he says, it's very not me.
- 1:06:41So again, I think that last sentence, it's the same
- 1:06:44entity trying to put something together using his words. Now
- 1:06:47does he put anything together with those words? I should
- 1:06:51be scared of occasionally open to heart, it's very not
- 1:06:54me in that state. I don't know. I don't know
- 1:06:56if there's anything you can make out of that that's
- 1:06:58like the entity making sense of what he's saying. But
- 1:07:02I think that's what it's trying to do there.
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: It's not me, just fucked up. It's very not me.
- 1:07:08She's more real to me in that state, just fucked up.
- 1:07:11That's not me in that state. Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:07:15It's interesting that I like that the way it ends
- 1:07:18there though, I think that's that's nice. I mean, like,
- 1:07:20you know, I said my things about the picture or whatever,
- 1:07:23but I think all in all, for being such a
- 1:07:24fun thing and to have an account that's solely dedicated
- 1:07:27to this that's posting on the r slash and no sleep,
- 1:07:30I mean, I mean, how fun is that I mean
- 1:07:32really like in terms of creepypasta, in terms of like
- 1:07:34spooky stories online. This is just like, this is super fun.
- 1:07:38I hope that there's more of this, Like I said,
- 1:07:39I haven't I have. I'm not even gonna say that
- 1:07:42I'm like super well versed in creepypasta stuff, but I
- 1:07:45hope there's more of this kind of stuff, you know,
- 1:07:47people creating their own evidence, people being able to like
- 1:07:52use the idea of an of an anonymous poster online
- 1:07:55to make it actually feel believable, you know, and have
- 1:07:58it be just a fun little goose chase. I love that.
- 1:08:01I like it a lot.
- 1:08:02Speaker 3: It's fun. I like it. I also like and.
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: Also a nice palate cleanser to last week. And can
- 1:08:07I say that it sure is.
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: It's this whole like my girlfriend's dead and freezing to
- 1:08:11death in a car because she died in a drunk
- 1:08:13driving accident. Way better than last week.
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: It's like a piece of ginger at a sushi bar.
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: It's just it's it just clears your ride out, makes
- 1:08:22you feel better. I quit being sick now that you
- 1:08:25all have. I've paid my penance. I'm done. Yeah, Okay,
- 1:08:28I get it. I get it. You're mad because I
- 1:08:29made you read about human farming. All right, understandably so,
- 1:08:34but I gave you this story this week. This was
- 1:08:37my pick, Thank you very much. I gave you this
- 1:08:39story that was about a woman dying in a drunk
- 1:08:42driving accident. So I think we're all square now.
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: All well, okay, with a very.
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: Cheery story like that, I think we're on the same page.
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: I do want to say the aspect that you did.
- 1:08:54You suggested Baraska and stuff, and then I checked Red
- 1:08:57Thread and then you guys did Epstein list. I was like,
- 1:09:01holy ship, people are gonna be in a for a
- 1:09:04fucking yeah.
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: I did have that thought that we were talking about Epstein.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: It's surreal twenty four hours.
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: Yeah, you poor dogs, you poor people going.
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: Going from Creek Crass Barrosca Part two to Epstein's list
- 1:09:20on Red Thread. It was a surreal experience. I I
- 1:09:23saw many of those comments. I was like, there's these poor,
- 1:09:25these poor poor Yeah.
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: Yeah, but what are you gonna do? Not watch? That's
- 1:09:29what I thought, exactly. Geeks, nerds, Yeah, we're watching. That's
- 1:09:37what I thought. So you're gonna stay here, You're gonna
- 1:09:40listen to these stories of women die dying in car
- 1:09:43accidents and you're gonna like it, all right, because that's
- 1:09:45that's how.
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: They not there. There won't be a lot of human trafficking.
- 1:09:48One I can promise you that it's.
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: A few episodes.
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: For a few well, wait, we'll give it one more
- 1:09:54episode and then we'll dive back into that.
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: Yeah, because I've got I've got them lined up. You
- 1:09:58thought Rosco was bad, I got I got like meat
- 1:10:00farm stuff ready to go.
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: I got hunting, hunting message. When he sent me the
- 1:10:05list of stories that we're reading and I was like,
- 1:10:08I was like, really, do we have to read these?
- 1:10:10And he said yes.
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: I'm like, shut up, shut up, hunter. You're gonna like it.
