  Actually this morning, the Lord has been dealing with me with this issue.

  There's people sometimes that are in your life that you have to have the

  courage to chop off, right, because they can bring you into a lukewarm

  state, you know what I mean. They could hinder your walk with God.

  So sometimes it's either people or it's things, you know what I mean.

  It could be pursuing a career, pleasure, anything that will try to

  master you. You know what I'm saying. It's like you got to like

  the Lord was telling me that this morning. Now look at you. Come

  on, you see this wasn't even planning. This is just but God knows
• 2:49
  that. He also knows what we need in the season of the time that
• 2:53
  we needed. I think a lot of us, and I'm speaking to you
• 2:55
  online, some of us have to chop some things off. Some of us
• 3:00
  have to cut some things back and put them in their proper perspective in place,
• 3:04
  right, and some stuff we just need to go all together, right,
• 3:07
  because it's hindering us in our relationship and our walk with Christ. And

  also it's hedering us from growing into the person that He's called us to be.

  So if you're holding off to something, whether it's unforgiveness, whether it's
• 3:23
  a sexual and moral spirit, whether it's a lying tongue, whether it's a
• 3:29
  hurt and pain that you've experienced and somebody has inflicted upon you, you know,
• 3:35
  or hurt and pain that you've inflicted upon somebody else, Like today is
• 3:38
  the day of salvation. Today is the day to let it go and chop
• 3:42
  that thing off. And some stuff, you know, especially like when marriages,
• 3:46
  children, jobs and things, we just have to put it in his
• 3:51
  proper perspective. Right. Doesn't mean that God says I'm gonna take it away,
• 3:54
  but if you try to put it above you know, it's gonna take
• 3:59
  that thing away from you, and we definitely don't want that to happen,

  right and we just want to put it in alignment with God's person and not

  premitively. But anyways, I'm not I'm not gonna breast base. I'll tell

  to our God for who he is. Adoration is a strong emotion and regard

  and so I was stuck thinking, okay, Lord, how am I going

  to be able to bring this together? And it took several more years.

  But I tell you, when we were in the timing of God being led

  by God, he brought me to the lead, and he brought me to

  the background. And I just believe that folks are just gonna be blessed once

  for choirs and stuff? Like that man. I write by God's anointing,

  the Holy spiritus downloads. And when I'm writing for like a project, I

  go to God in prayer and say, okay, Lord, I need some

  material for this project. So I need and I don't want to just put

  out anything that comes from John. I want to release what comes from God.

  So I ask the Lord specifically when I'm writing for that, and then

  I have pen, paper and recording device ready expecting, receiving ears inclined to

  hear from the Lord. So the Lord has just blessed me basically to write

  in just about all the genres. We can write for choirs, we can
• 26:30
  write for hip hop, we can write for groups, we can write church

  music, we can write you know, just about in contemporary gospel. And

  we have some more good stuff on the horizon. So keep your ears open.
