- 0:09Speaker 1: Podcast.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Welcome to Meet Eater Trivia, the only game show where
- 0:13Speaker 2: conservation always wins. I'm your host, Spencer new Arth, and
- 0:16Speaker 2: today we're joined by Brody Henderson, Giannis Poutellis, Ryan Callahan,
- 0:21Speaker 2: Randall Williams, Chester, Floyd Tressa Croker, and Riva Hanson. Riva,
- 0:25Speaker 2: this is your first time on the show. Tell folks
- 0:27Speaker 2: what you do here at Meat Eater.
- 0:30Speaker 3: I edit some podcasts, which one Tree Life, Cutting the Distance,
- 0:34Speaker 3: Wired to Hunt, Foundations, Bear Grease Render.
- 0:38Speaker 2: How do you feel about your chances? How do you
- 0:44Speaker 2: feel about your chances at Meat Eater Trivia?
- 0:46Speaker 4: Not great?
- 0:47Speaker 2: Okay? What do you know about this show? Anything?
- 0:51Speaker 4: A little?
- 0:54Speaker 1: Va?
- 0:54Speaker 2: Your name came up a lot on the live tour
- 0:56Speaker 2: when we were passing through Iowa. We were talking that
- 0:59Speaker 2: you own a far arm there that may or may
- 1:01Speaker 2: not have pheasants and deer.
- 1:02Speaker 4: Yes I do personally.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Yeah, look good for us. Because we were competing for
- 1:07Speaker 2: who would get permission from Riva. I think I won,
- 1:11Speaker 2: But now I just got to ask.
- 1:12Speaker 1: You for no she she said, I could.
- 1:14Speaker 5: Steve feels like you've got it all locked up, you know,
- 1:17Speaker 5: I'm like, really you? That's after a guy like you
- 1:22Speaker 5: need another hunting spot Riva.
- 1:24Speaker 2: When Steve as you just tell him no, that's it.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Tell him we actually don't let anybody hunt.
- 1:29Speaker 3: I'll tell him.
- 1:30Speaker 2: There you go. That's a good answer. Now, this is
- 1:33Speaker 2: a ten round quizz show with questions from meat Eater's
- 1:35Speaker 2: four verticals, which are hunting, fishing, conservation, and cooking, and
- 1:39Speaker 2: there is a prize. Meat Eater will donate five hundred
- 1:41Speaker 2: dollars to be conservation organization of the winners choosing for
- 1:45Speaker 2: the start of the week. This week, we're updating our
- 1:47Speaker 2: donation tracker. In the history of meat Eater Trivia, we've
- 1:51Speaker 2: now donated over eighty thousand dollars to conservation organizations. That
- 1:55Speaker 2: breaks down to as forty three thousand dollars from the podcast,
- 1:59Speaker 2: twenty thousand dollars from board game sales, and twenty thousand
- 2:03Speaker 2: dollars from the meat Eater Live Tour. As a reminder,
- 2:05Speaker 2: we're donating one dollar per board game to conservation projects.
- 2:09Speaker 2: And the board game is officially sold out. And that
- 2:12Speaker 2: med Eater Live Tour number is so big because our
- 2:15Speaker 2: friends at onex made a twenty five hundred dollars donation
- 2:18Speaker 2: on behalf of the trivia winner at each stop. Who
- 2:23Speaker 2: eighty thousand dollars?
- 2:25Speaker 4: Well the trivia do.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Here's our zero percenter question of the week, which came
- 2:30Speaker 2: from the Meat Eater Live Tour. This question was from
- 2:33Speaker 2: the Pittsburgh stop. The topic was hunting, and it was
- 2:36Speaker 2: the only question on the entire live tour that nobody
- 2:39Speaker 2: got right. Yanni and call you keep to yourselves. We'll
- 2:42Speaker 2: see if our other players can get this right. Which
- 2:44Speaker 2: of these birds do Pennsylvania hunters harvest the least of?
- 2:49Speaker 2: Is it pheasants, turkeys, doves or Canada geese? Brody as
- 2:54Speaker 2: our player in the room from Pennsylvania, tell me which
- 2:57Speaker 2: of these birds do Pennsylvania again, which do they harvest
- 3:01Speaker 2: the least of? Pheasants, turkeys, doves, Canada geese? This was
- 3:06Speaker 2: the only question pheasants from all eight stops. That's incorrect. Yeeese,
- 3:12Speaker 2: that's incorrect.
- 3:13Speaker 6: Turkeys, doves, that's incorrect.
- 3:15Speaker 4: Randall got it.
- 3:16Speaker 2: The correct answer is turkeys. It's estimated that PA hunters
- 3:19Speaker 2: kill about one hundred thousand geese, doves, and pheasants each
- 3:23Speaker 2: year while only killing twenty eight thousand turkeys.
- 3:25Speaker 6: You know there's a caveat to that.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Okay, phillis in you don't.
- 3:31Speaker 6: Killed in Pennsylvania are stocked.
- 3:33Speaker 2: They're still killed by Pennsylvania hunters.
- 3:35Speaker 4: Bro.
- 3:35Speaker 6: They don't really count though.
- 3:36Speaker 4: I don't think this counts at all because he says
- 3:40Speaker 4: one hundred thousand, hundred thousand, hundred thousand.
- 3:42Speaker 2: That's what I'm doing some editorializing there. The numbers were
- 3:46Speaker 2: like one ten ninety seven thousand, one hundred seven thousand,
- 3:50Speaker 2: just for cleanliness. Cal I made it one hundred thousand
- 3:52Speaker 2: for each.
- 3:53Speaker 6: I mean, I'm not knocking Pennsylvania peasants.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Oh, it sounds like it.
- 3:57Speaker 1: That show though, that was a rough one for me?
- 4:00Speaker 2: What was rough for you? Chester? My joke, Jester, try
- 4:05Speaker 2: it out here? Tell folks what happened?
- 4:08Speaker 1: Oh, well, I stowed up on stage to sing my
- 4:12Speaker 1: song and I said, I walked out there and I said.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Go before that, though, tell folks what happened backstage? How
- 4:18Speaker 2: you got to that part?
- 4:19Speaker 1: Well, I told the joke downstairs and everyone laughed, and
- 4:22Speaker 1: I was like, wow, that's unusual for my.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Jokes, a really hard belly laugh. It was one hundred
- 4:27Speaker 2: percent approval rating.
- 4:28Speaker 1: So I just like, I didn't say anything, but I
- 4:30Speaker 1: was in back of my mind. I was like, I'm
- 4:32Speaker 1: going to say this while I walk out on stage,
- 4:34Speaker 1: walk out there all proud of my joke, and I
- 4:37Speaker 1: go so I heard there were a bunch of steelers
- 4:41Speaker 1: around here when I got off the bus, so I
- 4:44Speaker 1: ran back and locked the door, and.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Crickets, crickets.
- 4:51Speaker 5: Yeah, but it was because of the timing. When he
- 4:56Speaker 5: said the punchline, the crowd was still reacting what.
- 5:00Speaker 2: You had first.
- 5:00Speaker 4: I don't know. That's funny.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Chester took another stab at it later in the show
- 5:05Speaker 2: when he came out to give a scoreboard update for Trivia,
- 5:08Speaker 2: and it crushed. Yeah, the biggest laugh we got all night.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Yeah, made fun of myself a little bit.
- 5:12Speaker 7: That's fantastic.
- 5:13Speaker 2: It worked. We have some housekeeping to get to you.
- 5:16Speaker 2: In a previous episode of Trivia, we had a question
- 5:19Speaker 2: about the only cavity nesting duck that lays two broods
- 5:22Speaker 2: per year in North America. The correct answer was wood duck,
- 5:26Speaker 2: which is a fact that was stated by the Cornell
- 5:28Speaker 2: Lab of Ornithology, but a few listeners wrote in saying
- 5:31Speaker 2: that black bellied whistling ducks will also produce two broods
- 5:35Speaker 2: per year, and our cavity nesters. This was verified by
- 5:39Speaker 2: a twenty twelve paper in the Wilson Journal of Ornithology,
- 5:42Speaker 2: which observed double broods in Texas. So if you said
- 5:46Speaker 2: black bellied whistling duck for that answer, you'd also be correct.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Nobody on our show did, though, so it doesn't change
- 5:52Speaker 2: the outcome of the game. It's a duck. I never
- 5:55Speaker 2: even heard of cal. Are you familiar with the black
- 5:57Speaker 2: bellied whistling.
- 5:58Speaker 4: I thought that's invasive species.
- 6:03Speaker 2: I don't know about that. I feel like they're uh,
- 6:04Speaker 2: they're more common in like Central America, but they do
- 6:07Speaker 2: come up into Louisiana and Texas.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Are there any they're expanding their range, different names for them,
- 6:14Speaker 1: like you know in certain regions though.
- 6:19Speaker 4: Being around people who hunt ducks in Louisiana, they'd call
- 6:22Speaker 4: them a black duck mmm, because that's what they call
- 6:26Speaker 4: all ducks.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Also, also in a previous game of trivia, we had
- 6:33Speaker 2: a question about the national park that's home to El Capitan.
- 6:37Speaker 2: The correct answer was Yosemite, but about a dozen listeners
- 6:40Speaker 2: wrote in saying that Guadaloupe Mountains National Park in Texas
- 6:45Speaker 2: also has a mountain named El Capitan. So if you
- 6:48Speaker 2: said that is your answer, it would also be correct. Again,
- 6:51Speaker 2: no one on our show did so it wouldn't change
- 6:53Speaker 2: the outcome of the game. Now, the Shelby indecks for
- 6:57Speaker 2: this episode is a three, so our winner should get
- 6:59Speaker 2: six correct answers. And with that we're onto the game
- 7:02Speaker 2: of trivia. Play the drop, Phil, Look, I need to
- 7:08Speaker 2: know what I stand to win everything?
- 7:10Speaker 4: Just that, just tend to win everything. Give us on.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Game on sus Phil. I'll tell you that our intro
- 7:24Speaker 2: has never sounded better than being played in a theater
- 7:27Speaker 2: that who wants to.
- 7:29Speaker 4: That up is?
- 7:30Speaker 8: I thought the same thing too first time I heard it,
- 7:32Speaker 8: echoing really hit it's cool at fun.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Question one, the topic is ecology. In this is multiple choice.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Which of these states is not part of the Mississippi
- 7:43Speaker 2: River Watershed? Is it Texas, Utah, Wisconsin, or West Virginia.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Which of these states is not part of the Mississippi
- 7:56Speaker 2: River Watershed Texas, Utah, Wisconsin or West Virginia. Randall wrote
- 8:03Speaker 2: down an answer before Cal even picked up his board. Randall,
- 8:06Speaker 2: do you know this one?
- 8:08Speaker 7: I feel pretty confident about this one, Spencer.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Yanni, how about you?
- 8:11Speaker 5: I feel confident as well?
- 8:13Speaker 2: Which of these states is not part of the Mississippi
- 8:16Speaker 2: River Watershed? Texas, Utah, Wisconsin or West Virginia. It's everybody ready.
- 8:23Speaker 5: Riva, how's your geography?
- 8:25Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 8:25Speaker 3: We're about to find out it is.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Everybody ready. Go ahead and reveal your answers. We have
- 8:32Speaker 2: Randall saying Utah, cal saying Utah, Chester saying Texas, Brody
- 8:37Speaker 2: saying Utah, Reva saying Utah, Treesa saying West Virginia. Yanni
- 8:42Speaker 2: is saying Utah. The correct answer is Utah. The room
- 8:47Speaker 2: did very well, Wisconsins. The Mississippi River, Texas is connected
- 8:53Speaker 2: to it via the Red River, and West Virginia is
- 8:56Speaker 2: connected to it via the Ohio River. The closest the
- 8:59Speaker 2: mississ Hippy River watershed comes to Utah is about one
- 9:03Speaker 2: hundred miles to the northeast in Wyoming.
- 9:05Speaker 8: Really quick, my marker wasn't working. Tresa and Giannis. Did
- 9:08Speaker 8: you get that right?
- 9:09Speaker 1: Round?
- 9:10Speaker 8: No? No, yes, thank you, I got it.
- 9:13Speaker 4: I got it right, got that Randall, Thanks Bud, appreciate it.
- 9:16Speaker 2: If you look at a map of the Mississippi River watershed,
- 9:19Speaker 2: it is powerful. Damn near the whole continent just drains
- 9:22Speaker 2: out down there in some way or another. Question two,
- 9:25Speaker 2: the topic is cooking. This next great question comes to
- 9:28Speaker 2: us via Tyler McFarland. Elvers, which sometimes costs more than
- 9:33Speaker 2: two thousand dollars per pound, are the juvenile form of
- 9:37Speaker 2: this animal. Again, the topic is cooking. Elvers that spelled
- 9:44Speaker 2: e l v e rs, which sometimes costs more than
- 9:48Speaker 2: two thousand dollars per pound, are the juvenile form of
- 9:53Speaker 2: this animal.
- 9:54Speaker 1: I don't know what's going on with me, Spencer Trevia.
- 9:58Speaker 1: I feel like I used to do a Okay, now
- 10:01Speaker 1: I just.
- 10:02Speaker 4: You just got utah? Oh yeah, tex No, I never mind.
- 10:07Speaker 7: Never mind, just just question too.
- 10:09Speaker 6: Well.
- 10:10Speaker 4: You can feel good about being right about being bad. Yeah,
- 10:13Speaker 4: you're right about something.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Elvers, which sometimes costs more than two thousand dollars per pound,
- 10:20Speaker 2: are the juvenile form of this animal. The room looks stumped.
- 10:25Speaker 4: Major black market trade.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Brody knows it. Cal appears to know it. Triesa do
- 10:33Speaker 2: you have an answer?
- 10:37Speaker 4: Black?
- 10:38Speaker 2: I think they might.
- 10:39Speaker 4: Well, I'm not gonna.
- 10:41Speaker 2: I think there's a reason why they might be stumped.
- 10:43Speaker 2: It's enough of a hint from Cal is another hint
- 10:48Speaker 2: from Elvers, which sometimes costs more than two thousand dollars
- 10:52Speaker 2: per pound, are the juvenile form of this animal. Cal,
- 10:57Speaker 2: you don't have to answer this because it'd be giving
- 10:59Speaker 2: a hint to them. But have you eaten these before?
- 11:02Speaker 4: No? No?
- 11:04Speaker 1: Mm?
- 11:04Speaker 2: Would you like to? Oh, Brodie White, what's your problem
- 11:07Speaker 2: with his answer? I'll answer that, okay, you would prefer
- 11:13Speaker 2: to not help out the room? A lot of hints
- 11:17Speaker 2: here being for hints, right, Brody and Randall are still
- 11:22Speaker 2: the only ones who are confident.
- 11:25Speaker 4: All right, let's wrap her up.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Sorry, Cal and Brody are the only confident ones. Yanni
- 11:34Speaker 2: coming up with an answer?
- 11:38Speaker 4: Is this you honest?
- 11:39Speaker 6: Is one thing where he gets to drag the answer
- 11:41Speaker 6: out for a few hours.
- 11:42Speaker 2: If I see his marker on the board, we'll let
- 11:45Speaker 2: him finish writing. Johanny, I'm trying.
- 11:49Speaker 5: I'm trying to run out of time with just something and.
- 11:54Speaker 7: It's an animal. Being very precise.
- 11:56Speaker 2: Here, are not juvenile for this animal? Brody does not
- 12:03Speaker 2: approve of Reva's answer. Go ahead and reveal your answers.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Randall saying eels, Col saying eels, Chester saying whales, Brody
- 12:14Speaker 2: saying eels, Riva saying reindeer, lobster, Giannis saying sturgeon. The
- 12:22Speaker 2: correct answer is eels. Brody, Randall and Col got it.
- 12:27Speaker 6: Right, So he's kind of eating them.
- 12:30Speaker 4: Oh, explain, well, I've eaten the adults. Oh sure, yeah, yeah.
- 12:35Speaker 2: But they'd be like asking someone know if they've had caviar,
- 12:38Speaker 2: I think, and they'd be like no, and you'd be like, yeah,
- 12:40Speaker 2: but you've eaten adult salmon. No, no, not the same thing.
- 12:45Speaker 6: It'd be like eating a small perch or a big perch.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Elvers are also referred to as glass eels because of
- 12:52Speaker 2: how transparent they are as juveniles. Elvers are typically collected
- 12:56Speaker 2: with dip nets or baited traps and are usually fried
- 12:59Speaker 2: in all oil. Anglers in Maine harvested about nine thousand
- 13:03Speaker 2: pounds of elvers in twenty twenty one.
- 13:05Speaker 6: They export a lot of those things due to Japan.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I think they go on audiocean.
- 13:10Speaker 6: There's there's last few years, there's been some black market
- 13:14Speaker 6: busts for those, haven't there.
- 13:15Speaker 4: Yeah. Tons, And there's actually a lawsuit going on right
- 13:18Speaker 4: now against the Nova Scotia Province of Nova Scotia for
- 13:24Speaker 4: not enforcing enough because I think there's some indigenous groups
- 13:31Speaker 4: too that have like harvest rights and stuff like that
- 13:35Speaker 4: that are getting impacted. But like all sorts of nasty
- 13:38Speaker 4: stuff like shootings and.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Where do you guys get your information from the news. Yeah.
- 13:45Speaker 6: Well, it's also like American eels are like doing very
- 13:49Speaker 6: well in some spots and then they're like endangered a
- 13:52Speaker 6: few hundred miles away.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Yeah, two thousand dollars a pound is going to create
- 13:57Speaker 2: a black market. Question three, the topic is hunt. How
- 14:01Speaker 2: many mass measurements are taken when scoring a white tail
- 14:04Speaker 2: buck antler? How many mass measurements are taken when scoring
- 14:11Speaker 2: a white tail buck antler? This is question three. The
- 14:16Speaker 2: topic is hunting Chester. Have you ever scored a white
- 14:20Speaker 2: tail buck?
- 14:21Speaker 1: Just did the other day.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Okay, you should be that on advantage here.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I did it with a buddy, so I.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Technically okay, you were a witnessed.
- 14:30Speaker 1: I have been there. But I I'm if somebody were
- 14:33Speaker 1: asked me to score a white tail by myself right
- 14:36Speaker 1: now without looking it up, it would be probably incorrect.
- 14:40Speaker 6: That's how all measurements are.
- 14:41Speaker 1: However, I will add this. They asked me what the
- 14:44Speaker 1: score of the buck was, and I said it and
- 14:47Speaker 1: it was dead nuts.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Really, yep, it's great.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Chester's one hundred and thirty two inches and how many eighths?
- 14:57Speaker 1: I mean probably close heard a one hundred and thirty three.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Inch Chester coming up with an answer.
- 15:05Speaker 4: Here MEAs spreads himself on field field, guess him.
- 15:10Speaker 2: M hmm, showed me, showed me a picture of an
- 15:14Speaker 2: enormous white tail that he killed. I guess you're right
- 15:17Speaker 2: on the nose. Janni. When's the last time you scored
- 15:21Speaker 2: a white tail buck?
- 15:24Speaker 4: I don't know, year two? Maybe?
- 15:26Speaker 2: How many mass measurements are taken when scoring a white
- 15:29Speaker 2: tail buck antler? Does everybody have an answer? Chester? Go
- 15:36Speaker 2: ahead and reveal your answers. We have Randall saying eight,
- 15:40Speaker 2: Cal saying four, Chester saying four, Brodie saying four, Riva
- 15:45Speaker 2: saying three, saying three, Yannis saying four. The correct answer
- 15:52Speaker 2: is four. No, I should get it, Randall, Well, I
- 15:57Speaker 2: said a white tail buck antler, one of them. It
- 16:00Speaker 2: was very specific, a white tail buck.
- 16:02Speaker 6: I thought we were all going to get it wrong,
- 16:04Speaker 6: and he was going to get it right.
- 16:05Speaker 2: You doubled the measurements.
- 16:07Speaker 1: I would say, did you? Did you?
- 16:10Speaker 4: But then it's divided by two?
- 16:11Speaker 8: Right?
- 16:12Speaker 1: Were you thinking? That's what?
- 16:15Speaker 7: I was? Sorry, rand thing about scoring a white tail.
- 16:19Speaker 2: A white tail buck antler, and I'm phrased that way, Spencer, Spencer,
- 16:25Speaker 2: rand I'll tell you this random when I wrote the question, I.
- 16:29Speaker 9: Mean, how how on earth would I possibly think that
- 16:31Speaker 9: you'd measure one antler, you could score shed, you'd take
- 16:35Speaker 9: no but taking eight measurements on one antler.
- 16:37Speaker 4: Doctor Randall Williams Brand moves so fast, Spencer, I think
- 16:43Speaker 4: you should have worded it.
- 16:44Speaker 6: How what is the maximum number of mass measurements you could?
- 16:48Speaker 6: I almost worder because what if you shoot a little baker?
- 16:51Speaker 2: Well, I'll explain it to you, Brody. Regardless of how
- 16:54Speaker 2: many points a deer has, whether it's a spike or
- 16:57Speaker 2: a six by six, you take four mass measureasurement. This
- 17:01Speaker 2: can get confusing. This can get confusing on eight pointers.
- 17:06Speaker 2: After the third mass measurement is taken. The rule for
- 17:09Speaker 2: getting the final measurement on an eight pointer is you
- 17:12Speaker 2: measure the antler's circumference at the spots that is exactly
- 17:16Speaker 2: halfway between the G three and the end of the
- 17:18Speaker 2: main beam. So, regardless of if it's the dustin huffbuck
- 17:22Speaker 2: or a little tiny spike, you take four mass.
- 17:24Speaker 6: I remember that next spike, I should.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Randall, I don't think we're gonna give it to you.
- 17:30Speaker 7: I mean, I feel like of all the exceptions that
- 17:33Speaker 7: we've made over the years.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Yanni, who got to get right?
- 17:38Speaker 4: Yanni?
- 17:38Speaker 2: Brody, Chester and Cal. What do you guys think there's
- 17:41Speaker 2: four review?
- 17:41Speaker 6: What do you think considering Randall's you know competitive?
- 17:47Speaker 4: Uh huh.
- 17:47Speaker 1: I would give it to him.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Chester says, give it to him.
- 17:50Speaker 4: Cal, it's the only game where conservation always wins. Give
- 17:53Speaker 4: it to him.
- 17:53Speaker 2: That's okay.
- 17:54Speaker 6: I think he knew what he was doing.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Okay, we're gonna give it to him. Get it right?
- 17:59Speaker 5: I mean the question was stated particularly.
- 18:02Speaker 7: I was, but I was like a beautiful mind math.
- 18:06Speaker 7: I was watching the tape right.
- 18:08Speaker 5: Well, let's bring it in focus for the next question.
- 18:13Speaker 7: Question, So happy right now?
- 18:15Speaker 4: Question for Christmas come early question.
- 18:19Speaker 2: The topic is conservation. This is our listener question of
- 18:22Speaker 2: the week, which was won by James Arnold for sending
- 18:25Speaker 2: this great question. James is going to get a board

- 21:34Speaker 2: Question five the topic is public lands. What state is
- 21:38Speaker 2: home to the Poconos Mountains? This is question five. We

- 21:48Speaker 2: What state is home to the Poconose Mountains? Brody confident,
- 21:54Speaker 2: Randall is confident. Chester and col thinking hard. Got Yanni

- 22:10Speaker 2: And you don't think you've been to this place?
- 22:13Speaker 5: I definitely have not.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Okay, there's a hint. What state is home to the
- 22:18Speaker 2: Poconos Mountains?
- 22:20Speaker 9: If I could listen to all the places that Yanni's
- 22:22Speaker 9: been that you're on.
- 22:23Speaker 5: The tour of us last week, at about two o'clock
- 22:27Speaker 5: one morning, we had the map on and the screw
- 22:31Speaker 5: of the TV and we went through and marked every
- 22:33Speaker 5: single state everybody has been to.
- 22:35Speaker 2: So Yanni's been to what like forty of them?
- 22:38Speaker 1: Yeah?

- 22:49Speaker 7: Are you counting layovers or no?
- 22:51Speaker 9: No, no, no, no, just having in the state, spent spending

- 23:47Speaker 2: area is known for its flat topped mountains that max
- 23:50Speaker 2: out at about two thousand, six hundred feet above sea level.

- 24:10Speaker 8: Chester have three points. Apiece, Calm Brody have four? I
- 24:14Speaker 8: have that, right I do? And then in first place
- 24:16Speaker 8: you gave him the point and now he's got a
- 24:18Speaker 8: perfect game.
- 24:19Speaker 4: It's Randa Williams. How would you feel about you missed earlier?

- 25:50Speaker 1: Go ahead, that's happened.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Sh Look what.

- 26:10Speaker 4: Describe what you're seeing their cal Oh, it's just some
- 26:14Speaker 4: you know, greatly removed from the out of doors. Producer
- 26:18Speaker 4: type was like, yeah, fishing, totally got it. And so

- 26:41Speaker 9: They landed the fish in a tin pail, which goes
- 26:45Speaker 9: hand and conventional.
- 26:48Speaker 2: To get this question right, you need to tell me
- 26:50Speaker 2: what movie that's from. And if you want to see
- 26:52Speaker 2: that one minute clip, you can check this out on
- 26:54Speaker 2: meat Eater's YouTube channel. Brody, you were groaning at the
- 26:58Speaker 2: start of this question, but you were the first one

- 27:55Speaker 3: No, I'm not going to Okay.
- 27:58Speaker 2: This seems to have a gender dividing line growing up

- 28:27Speaker 2: Yanni's saying no idea, cal got it. The correct answer
- 28:31Speaker 2: is son in Law, despite the green grass and foliage

- 33:29Speaker 7: Leave these in the woods.

- 35:17Speaker 5: like a hard case, and it had like a forget
- 35:20Speaker 5: what the it must have been a fire retardant material
- 35:23Speaker 5: on the inside. But you would light this little stick.
- 35:26Speaker 5: You would light it and then put it in there
- 35:28Speaker 5: that some bitch would burn you. That's why they're not around.
- 35:33Speaker 6: There is one that used like fuel though a metal case.

- 36:11Speaker 2: National Historical Park. Name two of the three states that
- 36:17Speaker 2: are part of the Cumberland Gap National Historical Park.

- 36:38Speaker 2: Could you name all three states?
- 36:39Speaker 7: I think so.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Name two of the three states that are part of
- 36:43Speaker 2: the Cumberland Gap National Historical Park. Reva, you grew up
- 36:50Speaker 2: in Hot Hands Country in Iowa. Is that something that
- 36:53Speaker 2: you would get for Christmas?
- 36:54Speaker 4: Yet?
- 36:54Speaker 2: Every year? Oh yeah, you would. What would you do
- 36:57Speaker 2: with them? What were we wearing the hot hands to do?
- 37:00Speaker 3: Just be outside? I mean we had animals, so we

- 37:21Speaker 4: your pockets? Maybe you should work harder? There we go, Yeah,
- 37:26Speaker 4: we put them in our gloves. We used to get that.
- 37:29Speaker 5: It was only it'd be like the boy scout masters
- 37:31Speaker 5: used to always say, if your hands are cold, put
- 37:34Speaker 5: them in your pockets, but otherwise out. You know, we
- 37:37Speaker 5: used to hate seeing us standing around.
