  Speaker 1: ready to release a new podcast called Dad's Anytime Stories.

  Speaker 1: as you know, I put that novel out, which you

  Speaker 1: can purchase on Amazon a while ago, but I never

  Speaker 1: really finished the audiobook version. So I decided to kind

  Speaker 1: of create a new podcast where I'd be reading complete novels.

  Speaker 1: Each season would be a novel of its own, a
• 3:36
  Speaker 1: novel I created often based on the stories we're doing here,

  Speaker 1: and the first one will be the first book of
• 3:43
  Speaker 1: Cards of Power. So it's going to come out, I believe.

  Speaker 1: We have it set for April the sixth, and it'll

  Speaker 1: run twice a week until the first season's over. We're

  Speaker 1: going to start with three episodes, I believe, and then

  Speaker 1: release another one on Mondays and Wednesdays. Now, those ones

  Speaker 1: are not optimized for bedtime, like they don't have the

  Speaker 1: relaxing music at the end and stuff like that, and

  Speaker 1: to bed in the log cabin just outside Gabe and

  Speaker 1: sALS little elemental learning zone. You wake up in your

  Speaker 1: log cabin, Magnus is laying at the end of the bed. Ah.

  Speaker 1: Good morning, Magnus says as he stretches in his very
• 5:39
  Speaker 1: cat like manner. Together, you head downstairs, grab a snack,
• 5:46
  Speaker 1: and then you head back outside into the beautiful elemental valley.
• 5:54
  Speaker 1: You summon your log cabin card back to your card
• 5:58
  Speaker 1: core and walk over towards the queen Little Village, where
• 6:03
  Speaker 1: Sal the salamander who taught Magnus about the ways of
• 6:07
  Speaker 1: the elements, and Gabe, his card holder live. To your surprise,
• 6:16
  Speaker 1: you find Gabe and Sal walking out towards you at
• 6:19
  Speaker 1: the same time. Good morning, Gabe says, are you ready
• 6:26
  Speaker 1: to head back? I guess so, Unless there's much to
• 6:30
  Speaker 1: explore around here, you answer, oh, well, it is actually
• 6:36
  Speaker 1: in the middle of a protected zone. I know it's
• 6:39
  Speaker 1: a strange way to sort of make your house, but
• 6:42
  Speaker 1: there's all sorts of different magical creatures around here if
• 6:46
  Speaker 1: you want to catch them. It's not of any particular
• 6:50
  Speaker 1: level though, so you'll find anything from beginner creatures all
• 6:54
  Speaker 1: the way up to deity level. Well, it might be
• 6:59
  Speaker 1: a chance to practice my elemental powers and maybe capture
• 7:04
  Speaker 1: another creature or two if we go have a look around.
• 7:08
  Speaker 1: Magnus suggests, Okay, as long as you don't mind teleporting
• 7:14
  Speaker 1: us tomorrow or something, I think we'll do just that
• 7:20
  Speaker 1: all right, then, Gabe answers, well have fun if you
• 7:24
  Speaker 1: head out in that way, I've heard reports of an
• 7:27
  Speaker 1: elemental tiger and some poison type creatures. Gabe points down
• 7:34
  Speaker 1: a forest path that leads through the mountains, so you
• 7:39
  Speaker 1: and Magnus decide to follow it. Not feeling very much
• 7:45
  Speaker 1: like walking, you reach into your card core and summon
• 7:49
  Speaker 1: a card you haven't had to use for a while.
• 7:53
  Speaker 1: Your power wings two wings shoot out of your shoulder
• 7:58
  Speaker 1: blades and to float up off of the ground above
• 8:03
  Speaker 1: the path. You gently glide through the forest without really
• 8:09
  Speaker 1: any effort at all, until you come to a large
• 8:13
  Speaker 1: valley surrounded by lakes and trees and uh something battling.

  Speaker 1: You see flashes of fire, lightning, and stone off in
• 8:27
  Speaker 1: the distance, as well as a strange green cloud of smoke.
• 8:33
  Speaker 1: What's going on over there, you say, zipping up in
• 8:37
  Speaker 1: the sky overhead to get a better view. As you
• 8:41
  Speaker 1: look down, you realize that two magical creatures are actually
• 8:47
  Speaker 1: fighting with each other. One of them seems to be
• 8:51
  Speaker 1: a tiger with well various elemental powers. You watch as
• 8:57
  Speaker 1: he stops on the ground, causing raw to fly up
• 9:01
  Speaker 1: in the air, then punches towards the rock sending them
• 9:04
  Speaker 1: flying towards a very large snake that's oozing a strange
• 9:10
  Speaker 1: green mist, obviously some sort of poison type. The snake
• 9:16
  Speaker 1: responds by blasting a stream of what is obviously some
• 9:21
  Speaker 1: sort of venom. The tiger stomps on the ground, summoning
• 9:27
  Speaker 1: a rock wall to shoot up and block the strange substance.
• 9:31
  Speaker 1: As soon as it hits there's a weird hissing sound
• 9:34
  Speaker 1: and it begins to burn through. The tiger runs jumps
• 9:39
  Speaker 1: up in the air, launching himself up with the help
• 9:43
  Speaker 1: of the ground itself. Then he seems to summon the
• 9:47
  Speaker 1: air into a tornado and sends it blasting towards the snake.
• 9:54
  Speaker 1: The snake slithers off to the side, jumps up in
• 9:58
  Speaker 1: the air, and unleashes another blast of that strange poisonous venom.

  Speaker 1: This time it hits the tiger on the arm and
• 10:08
  Speaker 1: looks like it burns a little bit. Then the snake
• 10:11
  Speaker 1: unleashes a huge puff of green smoke that fills the
• 10:17
  Speaker 1: entire area. Distracted by the wound on its arm. The
• 10:22
  Speaker 1: tiger doesn't notice in time and breathes in some of
• 10:26
  Speaker 1: the gas, immediately making him weaker and dizzier. He falls
• 10:34
  Speaker 1: over on the ground and completely passes out, at which
• 10:40
  Speaker 1: point the snake looks up towards you. Well, what are
• 10:46
  Speaker 1: you doing this here? The snake says, uh, oh, it's
• 10:52
  Speaker 1: smart too, probably a higher level. You say, that shouldn't
• 10:58
  Speaker 1: be a problem for me. I see the mistake that
• 11:02
  Speaker 1: that elemental tiger made. Would you like to do some battles?
• 11:10
  Speaker 1: The snake asks, ugh, I guess so you respond instinctively,
• 11:17
  Speaker 1: summoning your high tech armor from your card core. Energy
• 11:22
  Speaker 1: wraps around your body and solidifies into a high tech
• 11:27
  Speaker 1: metal case around all of your arms, limbs, and head.
• 11:33
  Speaker 1: Being no longer necessary, you allow your energy wings to
• 11:38
  Speaker 1: retract into your card core. At the same time, you
• 11:42
  Speaker 1: continue floating above the battle, only using your high tech
• 11:47
  Speaker 1: armor for flight instead. The helmet allows you to zoom
• 11:51
  Speaker 1: in on the snake and analyze some of its characteristics
• 11:57
  Speaker 1: mythic level. The voice in your helmet says, poison type.
• 12:04
  Speaker 1: Don't worry, I got this, Magnus says, dropping down to
• 12:09
  Speaker 1: the ground in front of the snake, and then glowing
• 12:13
  Speaker 1: with a bright blue energy. Magnus begins to transform, making
• 12:20
  Speaker 1: his way through his various evolutionary changes, first into a
• 12:26
  Speaker 1: tall dragon standing upright, then out into a larger legendary
• 12:33
  Speaker 1: dragon form, all the way up into a gigantic mythic form,
• 12:39
  Speaker 1: before shrinking back down into his deity level, a sleek
• 12:46
  Speaker 1: black dragon with veins made of pure sunlight energy, even
• 12:53
  Speaker 1: hotter than the lava he had in his previous forms.
• 12:58
  Speaker 1: I don't see see how you're going to deal with
• 13:02
  Speaker 1: poison fire dragon, the snake says, unleashing an even bigger
• 13:09
  Speaker 1: cloud of the green stuff all around. Well, then you
• 13:17
  Speaker 1: might not know. I've developed a few extra powers lately.
• 13:22
  Speaker 1: Magnus focuses. Instead of attempting to blast the snake with
• 13:27
  Speaker 1: his firepower, which would be his normal go to move,
• 13:30
  Speaker 1: or you know, even melting the ground beneath him into lava,
• 13:35
  Speaker 1: Magnus summons the air. He grabs the air around him,
• 13:42
  Speaker 1: swirls it and circles and blows it over towards the snake.
• 13:48
  Speaker 1: He continues having the air move around and around the snake,
• 13:53
  Speaker 1: capturing all of the poison he can and funneling it
• 13:58
  Speaker 1: up towards the sky noses my poison. This is, the
• 14:04
  Speaker 1: snake says, But Magnus doesn't wait very long. He immediately
• 14:11
  Speaker 1: stomps on the ground, causing earth to shoot up and
• 14:14
  Speaker 1: wrap around the snake. The snake blasts poison towards the dragon,
• 14:21
  Speaker 1: and he, in the same way the tiger did, stomps
• 14:25
  Speaker 1: on the ground, causing a rock wall to shoot up
• 14:28
  Speaker 1: and block the stuff. Magnus turns to the side, loops around,
• 14:34
  Speaker 1: and unleashes a powerful blast of pure energy, which hits
• 14:39
  Speaker 1: the snake directly. Almost immediately, the snake collapses onto the ground,
• 14:47
  Speaker 1: defeated and captured in stone. You carefully float down towards
• 14:55
  Speaker 1: the ground and walk over to the snake. You place
• 14:59
  Speaker 1: your hand the creature, activate your card core and focus.
• 15:06
  Speaker 1: You feel your card core connect. The creature begins to
• 15:11
  Speaker 1: transform into energy, and you use your mind to focus
• 15:16
  Speaker 1: that energy into the form of a card mythic level
• 15:22
  Speaker 1: poison Snake, the card says, as you grab it out
• 15:26
  Speaker 1: of the air and tuck it into your pocket. Then
• 15:31
  Speaker 1: you look over towards the tiger is still passed out
• 15:36
  Speaker 1: on the ground. Might be a good time to capture
• 15:40
  Speaker 1: a second card too. You walk over to the creature,
• 15:45
  Speaker 1: place your hand on it as well, and activate your
• 15:48
  Speaker 1: card core one more time. The creature begins to glow,
• 15:54
  Speaker 1: transforms into energy, which swirls around and reforms itself into
• 16:00
  Speaker 1: a card. You grab the card out of the air
• 16:04
  Speaker 1: and tuck it in your pocket. You look over at Magnus. Oh,
• 16:10
  Speaker 1: good job, buddy. Using all those elements together really helped
• 16:15
  Speaker 1: you out in that battle. Yeah, it wasn't really a
• 16:19
  Speaker 1: big deal. Plus the creature was only mythic levels, so
• 16:23
  Speaker 1: you know what avs. But the whole thing made me
• 16:29
  Speaker 1: kind of hungry. I think we could go have some lunch.
• 16:33
  Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I guess so, there should be plenty to eat.
• 16:36
  Speaker 1: The lug cabin. You reach into your card core and
• 16:41
  Speaker 1: summon the log cabin. A glowing blue card appears in
• 16:47
  Speaker 1: front of you, before transforming into energy, swirling through the air,
• 16:53
  Speaker 1: and reforming itself into a lug cabin. Only as soon
• 17:00
  Speaker 1: as it solidifies, something seems wrong with it. You walk
• 17:06
  Speaker 1: over to the cabin and it looks kind of like
• 17:08
  Speaker 1: it's glitching, as if it's there one second and then
• 17:14
  Speaker 1: disappearing the next. Magnus, any ideas what's going on? I
• 17:21
  Speaker 1: don't know. Try taking it back into your cardcore. He
• 17:25
  Speaker 1: suggests you attempt to summon it back, but something blocks
• 17:31
  Speaker 1: the pull. It's not working. You say, something's wrong here.
• 17:38
  Speaker 1: Ah yeah, and I'm sensing some sort of strange energy
• 17:44
  Speaker 1: from inside computer suit whatever. Scan the cabin and tell
• 17:52
  Speaker 1: me what's going on. Understood, the voice says. From inside
• 17:57
  Speaker 1: your helmet, you watch the little digital overlay as it
• 18:02
  Speaker 1: scans the cabin and detects a strange ball of energy
• 18:07
  Speaker 1: in the middle. Anomaly detected. I believe you have accidentally
• 18:14
  Speaker 1: summoned your log Cabin card around a teleportation anomaly. It
• 18:22
  Speaker 1: is attempting to absorb the log cabin into a different dimension.
• 18:29
  Speaker 1: The energies are clashing with each other, and the cabin
• 18:33
  Speaker 1: is stuck in limbo. You must find the source of
• 18:38
  Speaker 1: the disturbance to stop this from happening. The voice explains,
• 18:44
  Speaker 1: any idea What that is? I think I might know,
• 18:50
  Speaker 1: Magnus says, pointing behind you. You turn around to find
• 18:57
  Speaker 1: another dragon, pure black dragon with strange balls of black
• 19:05
  Speaker 1: energy floating around him. Analyzing your suit says, deity level
• 19:13
  Speaker 1: creature detected black hole dragon with elemental powers. What does
• 19:20
  Speaker 1: that mean? You say? This dragon has the ability to
• 19:25
  Speaker 1: create black holes, which will suck you into different dimensions.
• 19:31
  Speaker 1: It also seems to have a connection to various elements. Okay,
• 19:38
  Speaker 1: I guess prepared to battle. If it's that thing's powers
• 19:43
  Speaker 1: that are disrupting a log cabin card, I think we
• 19:46
  Speaker 1: have to defeat it to fix the problem. I was
• 19:50
  Speaker 1: thinking the same thing. Magnus responds, let's see how it
• 19:55
  Speaker 1: deals with a little bit of lava. Suddenly begins to glow.
• 20:02
  Speaker 1: Heat rises from around his body and the ground below,
• 20:07
  Speaker 1: and melts into lava. The other dragon jumps up into
• 20:12
  Speaker 1: the air, swoops nearby, and sends one of the black
• 20:17
  Speaker 1: holes towards him. Magnus summons lava to shoot up and
• 20:21
  Speaker 1: stop the black hole, but it just passes right through
• 20:26
  Speaker 1: it and slams into the dragon. In a flash, both
• 20:32
  Speaker 1: you and Magnus find yourselves well somewhere else in the
• 20:38
  Speaker 1: middle of a strange ocean, an ocean that looks like
• 20:44
  Speaker 1: it has walls on every side. Where are we? You ask?
• 20:50
  Speaker 1: You have been teleported to a pocket dimension. I believe
• 20:55
  Speaker 1: it is a water element dimension. Oh maybe it brought
• 21:02
  Speaker 1: us here because it assumes you're weak against water. I
• 21:07
  Speaker 1: hate water. Although actually now maybe I don't. The black
• 21:14
  Speaker 1: Hole Dragon appears floating above the water across from you
• 21:19
  Speaker 1: and Magnus. At the same time. Magnus grabs the water
• 21:24
  Speaker 1: around him and uses it to lift him off of
• 21:28
  Speaker 1: the ocean floor in a giant stream of water. He
• 21:33
  Speaker 1: then commands two huge pillars of water to spin around him,
• 21:38
  Speaker 1: transform into ice, and begins shooting them straight at the
• 21:43
  Speaker 1: other dragon. Some of the ice hits the dragon, causing
• 21:47
  Speaker 1: it to scream, and then it unleashes another blast of
• 21:52
  Speaker 1: well strange black holes, which hit you and Magnus again
• 21:59
  Speaker 1: and stint, you're teleported into another pocket dimension, only this
• 22:06
  Speaker 1: one is surrounded by clouds and lightning.
• 22:10
  Speaker 2: Ah.
• 22:11
  Speaker 1: I'm getting a feeling that it's taking us to places
• 22:14
  Speaker 1: it thinks will be weak. I'm getting that impression too.
• 22:20
  Speaker 1: Magnus says we need to stop this thing fast, but ah,
• 22:25
  Speaker 1: I'm not actually sure how. It just keeps teleporting us
• 22:28
  Speaker 1: before I can do anything. Well, sometimes it's best to
• 22:33
  Speaker 1: fight dimensional magic with dimensional magic. You reach into your
• 22:39
  Speaker 1: card core and some in a card you've barely used before. Dominic,
• 22:47
  Speaker 1: the magical and dimensional Dingo. Dominic appears in front of you,
• 22:55
  Speaker 1: and then a whole bunch more Dominick's appears surrounding you
• 23:01
  Speaker 1: time clones of the creature, different versions of him from
• 23:07
  Speaker 1: different possible universes or different points in the future, all
• 23:12
  Speaker 1: appear at once surrounding the dragon. The dragon immediately starts
• 23:19
  Speaker 1: to fire different black holes towards the creature or creatures
• 23:25
  Speaker 1: I should probably say, at the same time, blasts of
• 23:28
  Speaker 1: lightning shoot out of the sky and attempt to take
• 23:32
  Speaker 1: out as many dingoes as they can, But for Dominic
• 23:37
  Speaker 1: none of that is really a big issue. While his
• 23:42
  Speaker 1: clones attack, Dominic disappears from well from view, making himself
• 23:50
  Speaker 1: completely invisible. At the same time, he slows down time
• 23:56
  Speaker 1: around him, while his clones to Dominic waltzes up towards
• 24:03
  Speaker 1: the creature completely unseen, creates five more clones of himself
• 24:11
  Speaker 1: and orders them all to attack at once. Instantly, the
• 24:17
  Speaker 1: black Hole Dragon finds himself with a dingo on both
• 24:21
  Speaker 1: of his legs, a dingo on both of his arms,
• 24:25
  Speaker 1: and a dingo standing on top of his chest ready
• 24:29
  Speaker 1: to bite. Magnus uses the opportunity, slams down his foot
• 24:35
  Speaker 1: onto the ground and captures the dragon's wings using his
• 24:40
  Speaker 1: Earth powers. Then he jumps up in the air, pulls
• 24:45
  Speaker 1: in all of the heat he can from the area,
• 24:49
  Speaker 1: which somehow pulls the lightning from this strange lightning pocket
• 24:54
  Speaker 1: dimension towards him. He absorbs the energy and leashes a
• 25:00
  Speaker 1: blast of pure heat surrounded by electricity, directly at the dragon.
• 25:09
  Speaker 1: Dominic jumps out of the way just in time for
• 25:12
  Speaker 1: the beam to hit the dragon and uh well, completely
• 25:18
  Speaker 1: defeat it. The dragon is both electrocuted and well hit
• 25:23
  Speaker 1: with a powerful stream of fire, until eventually it just
• 25:28
  Speaker 1: gives up and goes to sleep. As soon as it does,
• 25:34
  Speaker 1: the pocket dimension around you disappears, and you drop back
• 25:39
  Speaker 1: to the ground on the field you were originally in.
• 25:44
  Speaker 1: You look behind you and the log cabin has stopped
• 25:48
  Speaker 1: glitching as well. The defeated dingoes disappear well, the rest
• 25:55
