- 0:21Speaker 1: Mikey A Golic's going to experience this.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Taylor's not with us right now because he's thinking about
- 0:25Speaker 2: jumping off a building because the Knicks lost an NBA
- 0:29Speaker 2: Finals game at home in the Mecca. Taylor went to
- 0:32Speaker 2: New York to be around the action, close to the buzz,
- 0:34Speaker 2: feel the electricity, and he felt none last night.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Said so, but Michael, there was electricity.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Yeah, just the wrong kid.
- 0:42Speaker 2: But I'm assuming Mike loves this because he's a neutral
- 0:45Speaker 2: party to the NBA Finals. He does not have a
- 0:47Speaker 2: rooting interest, and now he has himself a series and
- 0:50Speaker 2: it could be not just a good series, it could
- 0:53Speaker 2: be an all time series where now Nick fans could
- 0:56Speaker 2: see this thing going the other way Mike, and we
- 0:58Speaker 2: might see a six or seven games easier.
- 1:01Speaker 3: This has been amazing.
- 1:02Speaker 4: I mean the Spurs jumping out to Leeds and New
- 1:05Speaker 4: York just walking them down and then taking the lead
- 1:07Speaker 4: their second quarter. What forty points is ridiculous, taking a
- 1:11Speaker 4: lead to halftime. I mean, they have been great games
- 1:15Speaker 4: played differently. This was a Spurs win where they somewhat
- 1:20Speaker 4: changed Wemby didn't guard Karl Anthony Towns, they didn't double
- 1:25Speaker 4: and trap Jalen Brunson because they have guards that can
- 1:29Speaker 4: play great defense, and they're like, screw it, we'll play
- 1:31Speaker 4: one on one. We'll let Jalen dribble around and then
- 1:34Speaker 4: maybe have a rush shot. All that being said, it
- 1:38Speaker 4: was a two point game with nine seconds to go.
- 1:41Speaker 4: I mean the games have been fantastic. But you know,
- 1:44Speaker 4: last year we talked about Oklahoma City with Sam Presty
- 1:48Speaker 4: and the draft picks they had to either use or
- 1:51Speaker 4: use as Ammo that they could have a long run.
- 1:54Speaker 4: Now it's San Antonio. I mean, they came to the
- 1:58Speaker 4: party earlier than we thought of holding around Wemby. Think
- 2:01Speaker 4: about a twenty two year old Wemby, a twenty one
- 2:05Speaker 4: year old Stefan Castle, and a twenty year old Dylan Harper.
- 2:09Speaker 4: Dylan Harper was incredible. Stephan Castle is a great two
- 2:14Speaker 4: way player, gonna be one of the best once his
- 2:16Speaker 4: offensive game kind of jumps up a little more. But man,
- 2:20Speaker 4: I mean they they were the more physical team without
- 2:23Speaker 4: question last night.
- 2:24Speaker 5: Yep, Mike, We've been talking a lot today about Wemby's
- 2:28Speaker 5: we'll call it dirty play. And as the only one
- 2:32Speaker 5: who can come close to being called a former athlete,
- 2:35Speaker 5: did you have an issue with some of the things
- 2:37Speaker 5: he was doing.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Oh god, no, no, Mike, Mike is here for all
- 2:41Speaker 2: of that and more.
- 2:42Speaker 3: By the way, yes this, I would.
- 2:45Speaker 4: In no way, shape or form put the term dirty
- 2:48Speaker 4: in front of that play. I mean he was playing physical,
- 2:52Speaker 4: Brunson had a handful of his jersey and trying to
- 2:55Speaker 4: hold him in tight, which which again happens. I mean,
- 2:59Speaker 4: all this stuff happened. Now you could blame the officials
- 3:01Speaker 4: for not calling it. When he shoved Brunson by the
- 3:04Speaker 4: side of the head, that's on the officials to call.
- 3:07Speaker 5: That.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Was Wemby losing.
- 3:09Speaker 4: His cool a little bit, no doubt about it. But
- 3:11Speaker 4: the officials got to call it. I mean, you want
- 3:13Speaker 4: to sit there and talk about the officials twenty four
- 3:16Speaker 4: to eight file shots in the second half. Mike Brown
- 3:18Speaker 4: addressed it after the game, which you should do, you know,
- 3:22Speaker 4: because to try and get the calls for the next game.
- 3:24Speaker 4: But I don't think the players, the nick players were
- 3:27Speaker 4: talking about it in the locker room, were not putting
- 3:30Speaker 4: the game on that. I mean San Antonio just played
- 3:33Speaker 4: more physical. And look at the first two games. They
- 3:37Speaker 4: were physical with Wemby and they weren't as physical with Wemby.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Now in this.
- 3:43Speaker 4: Game he had four lob slams, where they had one
- 3:47Speaker 4: combined in the first two games.
- 3:49Speaker 3: So kudos to the Spurs.
- 3:51Speaker 4: That being said, again, it was a two point game
- 3:55Speaker 4: with nine seconds ago.
- 3:57Speaker 3: And oh, by the way, Karl.
- 3:58Speaker 4: Anthony Towns did not handle the ball enough and did
- 4:01Speaker 4: not shoot enough.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Yep, Mike, it's interesting with Webby. You and I have
- 4:05Speaker 2: been doing this for so long, and just when you
- 4:07Speaker 2: think you haven't, you know, you're never gonna see someone
- 4:09Speaker 2: as good as.
- 4:09Speaker 3: The last guy.
- 4:11Speaker 2: You see someone who could do things at least the
- 4:13Speaker 2: last guy couldn't do. To be that height and be
- 4:16Speaker 2: able to be that nimble around the basket, but also
- 4:19Speaker 2: be able to pull up and drain a three. I
- 4:22Speaker 2: mean at seven four. It's unlike anything we've ever seen.
- 4:25Speaker 2: It really is.
- 4:26Speaker 4: His trail three pointers where he just kind of lumbers
- 4:29Speaker 4: up the court and they just dish it back to
- 4:31Speaker 4: him and he steps right in two or three.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Yes, it's amazing.
- 4:35Speaker 4: And all that being said, you know we can shoot
- 4:38Speaker 4: around the rim, you know we can shoot a three.
- 4:41Speaker 4: The damning thing has to be when you're taking an
- 4:43Speaker 4: outside shot as an opponent, thinking you have space and
- 4:48Speaker 4: then he takes a step, throws his arm up and
- 4:51Speaker 4: blocks the shot.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Right, you gotta be thinking, my god.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Yes, I mean it's like a detour when he's in
- 4:57Speaker 4: the paint of not wanting to shoot. When he comes
- 5:00Speaker 4: out of the game, all you see the Knicks do
- 5:02Speaker 4: is attack the basket, attack the basket.
- 5:04Speaker 3: It's like two separate games.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Yes, I'm glad you brought up Mike Brown and the officiating.
- 5:08Speaker 2: He's not blaming the refs, although it comes off like
- 5:11Speaker 2: he's blaming the referees. He is planting a seed for
- 5:13Speaker 2: the next game. That's all he's doing, right, Yes.
- 5:15Speaker 4: It's exactly right. My zero problem with him doing it. Again.
- 5:19Speaker 4: I didn't hear any postgame locker room talk from the Knicks,
- 5:23Speaker 4: but I don't know. They're not gonna lay it on
- 5:25Speaker 4: the refs either. They have to have to look at themselves.
- 5:29Speaker 4: I mean, the games, the game. The one thing I'll
- 5:31Speaker 4: say about the officiating and Legler was bringing it up
- 5:33Speaker 4: in the broadcast, is they did seem inconsistent of not
- 5:37Speaker 4: calling stuff early but calling it late that a player
- 5:41Speaker 4: would have a problem with. I mean, it's the same
- 5:43Speaker 4: in any sport. Now there are more whistles in basketball
- 5:47Speaker 4: than any other sport. So you're gonna get more calls
- 5:50Speaker 4: in basketball with the potential for more questionable calls.
- 5:54Speaker 3: But in football it's the same way.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Offensive lineman, how much holding it can he get away with,
- 6:00Speaker 4: how much jamming can he get away with? If you
- 6:02Speaker 4: get away with it early, you gotta let him get
- 6:04Speaker 4: away with it late. Players just look for consistency out
- 6:08Speaker 4: of officiating.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Mike, you have to love the player you brought him
- 6:11Speaker 2: up earlier. But Castle and Harper to be that age
- 6:14Speaker 2: twenty one and twenty. But here's the impressive thing about
- 6:17Speaker 2: them to not sweat any single moment. In fact, they
- 6:20Speaker 2: embrace these moments. It's insane at that age.
- 6:24Speaker 3: They want the ball.
- 6:25Speaker 4: Yeah, and then Castle especially wants the defensive responsibility. He
- 6:31Speaker 4: wants to be on bruntson and I mean they are
- 6:33Speaker 4: guarding so tight.
- 6:35Speaker 3: Like I said, it was a little bit of a shift.
- 6:37Speaker 4: But again, defense is not as much about x's and
- 6:41Speaker 4: o's as it is about want to about wanting to
- 6:43Speaker 4: stay with that guy. And Dylan Harper's athleticism on offense
- 6:48Speaker 4: and Stefan Castle's aggressiveness on defense is amazing.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Yep.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Is last night a game you would have like you
- 6:55Speaker 2: have to factor in everything here, Mike, there were seven
- 6:57Speaker 2: layers of security mid ten which shut down.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Is that a game you would have wanted to go
- 7:02Speaker 1: to if you.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Factor in everything, right, Because I've been to a Super
- 7:06Speaker 2: Bowl where it's taking me two and a half hours
- 7:07Speaker 2: to get inside the building, and I'm like, man, I
- 7:10Speaker 2: wish I was on my couch, you know.
- 7:11Speaker 4: And and I don't blame the president for wanting to go.
- 7:14Speaker 4: I mean, it's fine. I mean he's a New York
- 7:16Speaker 4: Knick fan. Sure, you know, in his younger days, I
- 7:19Speaker 4: called a game for Westwood on a Sunday night game
- 7:22Speaker 4: in Philly, and when Biden was the president, it wasn't
- 7:26Speaker 4: even him, it was his wife, Jill, Right, it was
- 7:29Speaker 4: the first lady who went to the game, and it
- 7:31Speaker 4: took us an extra hour and a half to get
- 7:34Speaker 4: into the stadium. So again, it's fine if they want
- 7:37Speaker 4: to go. I don't blame them for wanting to go.
- 7:40Speaker 4: But man, does it wreak havoc on the on the
- 7:44Speaker 4: in this case, I was a media person, but the fans, yes,
- 7:47Speaker 4: you know it. It's a tough call.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Did you laugh at Nick fans because it felt like
- 7:51Speaker 2: a celebration it turned out now to be were you laughing?
- 7:54Speaker 2: Because now they're gonna be nervous on Wednesday nights.
- 7:56Speaker 3: I mean they absolutely are.
- 7:57Speaker 4: All of a sudden, this scene could go for two
- 8:00Speaker 4: and they're bringing out the brooms to San Antonio winning
- 8:03Speaker 4: back home court advantage, which.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Would be amazing. But listen again, I don't blame nick
- 8:10Speaker 3: fans for players.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Didn't you know Jalen Brunson was pulling the Kobe Bryant
- 8:14Speaker 4: of saying, you know, I'm not smiling yet. It's all
- 8:17Speaker 4: We're up two zip. The job's not done, but the
- 8:19Speaker 4: fans are fans. Man, how do you how do you
- 8:22Speaker 4: not embrace it and go nuts again? Two point game?
- 8:26Speaker 4: Nine seconds ago, that's how close they were to going
- 8:29Speaker 4: up three zip.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Yep, you think san Antonio is gonna win, don't you?
- 8:32Speaker 1: I feel it. I could feel it.
- 8:33Speaker 4: I mean, I picked them in six. There's no reason
- 8:36Speaker 4: for me to change it. I don't know if it'll
- 8:38Speaker 4: be in six at this point, but the one thing
- 8:43Speaker 4: is we're getting a great series. And for a fan
- 8:48Speaker 4: of me that's not a fan of either team, I
- 8:51Speaker 4: love it.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Yeah, it's so good. Mike, just quickly shifting here, to football.
- 9:06Speaker 2: You just came from the gym, keeping yourself in game
- 9:08Speaker 2: shape in case less sneed gives you a call. Uh,
- 9:13Speaker 2: you might be good on that defensive line.
- 9:15Speaker 1: You never know, they might need someone just not to move.
- 9:19Speaker 3: They would there's so many guys to double team.
- 9:21Speaker 4: They may leave me unblocked and I still probably wouldn't
- 9:25Speaker 4: get to the passer.
- 9:26Speaker 2: I think, listen if Aaron Donald, if Donald comes back
- 9:29Speaker 2: and plays with Garrett and Golick was in the middle, Mike, Yeah,
- 9:31Speaker 2: he might make a Pro Bowl I may because.
- 9:35Speaker 3: So much they wouldn't even they wouldn't even know my
- 9:37Speaker 3: name out there.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Do you think Aaron Donald is indeed going to come back?
- 9:43Speaker 1: And if he does, what will it mean for the Rams?
- 9:46Speaker 4: I mean, listen, if he's ninety eighty percent of what
- 9:50Speaker 4: he was, yes, coming back, that that's Pro Bowl level.
- 9:54Speaker 3: But you just don't know.
- 9:55Speaker 4: Listen, we see the workout videos of one hundred and
- 9:58Speaker 4: fifty pounds dumbbells, and but he was always a workout warrior.
- 10:02Speaker 4: But he's been out of the game for a little bit.
- 10:04Speaker 4: There's a difference of weightlifting and playing football. Now, that's
- 10:08Speaker 4: not to say he couldn't pick it right back.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Up.
- 10:10Speaker 4: But there's getting in football shape. There's getting your muscles
- 10:13Speaker 4: in football shape, quite honestly, And I don't know if
- 10:16Speaker 4: he's training for football or just lifting, because all of
- 10:19Speaker 4: a sudden, if you start training on the field, now
- 10:22Speaker 4: a calf, a hammy, a quad, you know, could you
- 10:25Speaker 4: be could you be looking at a bit of an injury.
- 10:28Speaker 4: But the just the sugar plums dancing in your head
- 10:34Speaker 4: of he and Miles Garrett Donald on the inside, Miles
- 10:37Speaker 4: on the outside, yes, oh my, and plus the rest
- 10:40Speaker 4: of that defense that they have. Remember that they drafted
- 10:43Speaker 4: great young players on that D line and outside backer position.
- 10:46Speaker 4: They gave up one obviously in verse, but they have others.
- 10:51Speaker 4: It it would be, and that's what you look for,
- 10:55Speaker 4: you know. In Philly, that's what we had. We had,
- 10:56Speaker 4: of course Reggie White, your own Brown, Clyde Timmans, but.
- 10:59Speaker 3: We had depth. We could roll in six or seven
- 11:02Speaker 3: D linemen. Now we weren't.
- 11:03Speaker 4: As good as the guys I mentioned, but we were
- 11:07Speaker 4: good enough to be able to have a rotation system.
- 11:10Speaker 4: And those are usually the best D lines that you
- 11:13Speaker 4: can have kind of a rotating system while the old
- 11:15Speaker 4: lineman is playing all seventy seventy five plays. D Lion
- 11:19Speaker 4: can rotate in and say, FRESHERP.
- 11:21Speaker 2: What'd you make of Brendan Soresby in that story? People
- 11:25Speaker 2: are outraged by it, rightfully, So lifetime ban for Pete Rose,
- 11:29Speaker 2: two games for Soresby.
- 11:30Speaker 1: It's a disaster.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Mic, it's a joke. Listen. I mean, you find a
- 11:34Speaker 3: friendly judge. This is what has come down to.
- 11:37Speaker 4: Listen, and the last people all blame are the players,
- 11:41Speaker 4: right the players are taking advantage of the court system
- 11:44Speaker 4: because they're winning every just about every court battle out there,
- 11:48Speaker 4: so I can't blame them.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Listen.
- 11:50Speaker 4: This goes back to the NCAA again, playing with kid
- 11:54Speaker 4: gloves or not taking control of the situation and making
- 11:58Speaker 4: rules or enforcing rules. They're just letting the situation run
- 12:02Speaker 4: rough shot over them. This is a horrible decision. And
- 12:07Speaker 4: you found a friendly judge. Now the NCAA appeal. Hopefully
- 12:11Speaker 4: they'll win the appeal. But oh my god, you bet
- 12:15Speaker 4: on your games. And I know he bet them to
- 12:16Speaker 4: win and he didn't play in them. But I mean,
- 12:18Speaker 4: you have to have consequences. It's in every single locker room,
- 12:23Speaker 4: no game. Even though gambling is legal now, players can't
- 12:28Speaker 4: gamble on their own team. There has to be consequences
- 12:34Speaker 4: for it. He should absolutely be done, absolutely going to
- 12:38Speaker 4: the supplemental draft. No one's stopping him from being a
- 12:41Speaker 4: professional athlete. He's fine to do that. But you gotta
- 12:44Speaker 4: have consequences.
- 12:46Speaker 2: So, just so we're clear, if you're in charge of
- 12:47Speaker 2: college football, and I'm not certain you shouldn't be in
- 12:49Speaker 2: charge of college football, you're saying Soresby would never play
- 12:52Speaker 2: college football again.
- 12:54Speaker 4: He would lose his an eligibility. Yes, it would be
- 12:57Speaker 4: done once he bet on his own team again, even
- 13:00Speaker 4: though we bet him to win. He bet on his
- 13:02Speaker 4: own team, and even though he didn't play. You just
- 13:05Speaker 4: can't do it. You have to have consequences for your actions.
- 13:10Speaker 4: And we all know this is only because they found
- 13:14Speaker 4: a judge from Lubbock who's obviously a Texas Tech fan. Yes,
- 13:19Speaker 4: I mean, it's it's so transparent, it's it's not even funny. Right,
- 13:24Speaker 4: And and now there are are big twelve teams saying
- 13:27Speaker 4: we're not gonna play Texas Tech.
- 13:28Speaker 3: That's not gonna happen. That's not gonna happen.
- 13:32Speaker 4: Because now, now, if you're a football team and you
- 13:34Speaker 4: say you're not playing Texas Tech, that means you're forfeiting
- 13:37Speaker 4: and you're just hurting yourself. That's not gonna happen. So
- 13:41Speaker 4: they can lay down that threat all they want. They
- 13:43Speaker 4: can maybe do it in other sports, the non revenue
- 13:46Speaker 4: sports if they want. I don't know what that'll what
- 13:48Speaker 4: that will solve. But this is because of one judge,
- 13:51Speaker 4: one friendly judge.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Yes, I have to be honest. The idea of a
- 13:55Speaker 2: friendly judge sounds like a good idea.
- 13:58Speaker 3: Hey, it's great to have in your is.
- 14:01Speaker 4: Like I said, from the player side, I can't sit
- 14:04Speaker 4: there and chastise. You know, Sowersby obviously for the gambling party,
- 14:08Speaker 4: and he went to to rehab a touch for it.
- 14:11Speaker 4: But he's he's just playing the game. Wait, you're saying,
- 14:14Speaker 4: I'm an eligible, Well I'm gonna take it to court.
- 14:16Speaker 4: Oh I got a friendly judge. Cool, I'm eligible.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Good deal. It's ridiculous. God, Mike, what do you do
- 14:26Speaker 3: from this point on?
- 14:27Speaker 1: Like?
- 14:27Speaker 3: What what what do you do? If you trying to
- 14:30Speaker 3: get this out?
- 14:30Speaker 5: If you're the NCAA, if you're the Big twelve, if
- 14:33Speaker 5: you're another team.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Like what what what courtse of action can you.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Possibly It's a great question because it seems like the
- 14:40Speaker 2: n c a A h they turned They turned their
- 14:43Speaker 2: backs on so much for so long that it's almost
- 14:45Speaker 2: unfixable at this point.
- 14:47Speaker 4: They do they turned their back when out and I
- 14:50Speaker 4: and I el started years ago and told the commissioners
- 14:53Speaker 4: and the conferences to figure it out. Some some conference
- 14:56Speaker 4: commissioners want the courts to figure out others want to
- 14:59Speaker 4: figure out them else they can't all get together and
- 15:02Speaker 4: make a unanimous decision.
- 15:04Speaker 3: They can't do it.
- 15:06Speaker 4: And then the NCAA is afraid to do it because
- 15:09Speaker 4: they know they'll just well afraid maybe is the wrong word.
- 15:12Speaker 4: They're hesitant to do it because they know they just
- 15:15Speaker 4: the player will just go to court. I mean, I
- 15:18Speaker 4: don't know what you can do about nil. You have
- 15:20Speaker 4: the revenue sharing, so each team has X amount to spend.
- 15:25Speaker 3: That's cool, but nil.
- 15:27Speaker 4: I mean, they supposedly have enforcement on deals that you know,
- 15:32Speaker 4: aren't watch a plant grow for a million dollars. They're
- 15:36Speaker 4: supposed to be like legitimate deals. Quite honestly, I think
- 15:42Speaker 4: they need to get a handle on the portal. I
- 15:46Speaker 4: think letting a guy go every single year is wreaking
- 15:50Speaker 4: havoc crazy and quite honestly, and listen, the players have
- 15:53Speaker 4: a choice, so they're making the choice. We only hear
- 15:56Speaker 4: about the transfers that work. There are way more transfers
- 16:00Speaker 4: that don't work, yes, where a guy goes to another
- 16:02Speaker 4: team and doesn't play, or doesn't even end up with
- 16:04Speaker 4: a home anywhere to play. So I mean when back
- 16:10Speaker 4: when my kids were playing, and I think even during
- 16:12Speaker 4: my years though it was too far back, but I
- 16:16Speaker 4: think when the kids were playing, you could transfer once
- 16:19Speaker 4: and then you had the city here that I think
- 16:21Speaker 4: that's what I would do. You get one freebie, one
- 16:24Speaker 4: freebee to go if where you want, unless, of course,
- 16:27Speaker 4: your coach leaves, then you should have the ability to
- 16:30Speaker 4: leave as well. And god knows we've seen enough of that.
- 16:33Speaker 4: But they just won't do it. They just can't be
- 16:36Speaker 4: unified in drawing up any rules that they feel are
- 16:41Speaker 4: going to be enforceable because the player is just going
- 16:43Speaker 4: to go to the court and in some cases find
- 16:45Speaker 4: a friendly judge.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Yeah, friendly judge. I love the sound of that.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Imagine if if a guy on the men's look cross team,
- 16:52Speaker 2: just so the disparity between the importance of these boards,
- 16:56Speaker 2: but if he was found to be betting on his
- 16:58Speaker 2: own team, on his own look team, he would be
- 17:00Speaker 2: out of the sport and out of the SCAA so
- 17:02Speaker 2: quickly would make your head spin.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Yes, absolutely done, because I don't think.
- 17:07Speaker 4: I don't think a friendly judge is gonna use a
- 17:10Speaker 4: you know, a chip on getting a lacrosse player eligible.
- 17:14Speaker 4: He's gonna use it for football, you know, big time
- 17:16Speaker 4: revenue sport.
- 17:17Speaker 1: He's not using it on duke lacrosse.
- 17:19Speaker 3: Right, It's just it's just crazy.
- 17:22Speaker 4: I mean again, it's laughable because it's so transparent, so transparent,
- 17:28Speaker 4: what went on?
- 17:29Speaker 2: Yes, mikeya before we let him go? You get with
- 17:32Speaker 2: Golic being the commission of college football. I think, I am.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Why hasn't it happened yet? You know what? You know
- 17:39Speaker 3: who you didn't ask? You didn't ask me. I want
- 17:42Speaker 3: no part of that. Yeah, it seems that's why we
- 17:44Speaker 3: need you. Yes, that's why we need you.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Yes, Yes, Mike, You're the perfect guy to do this.
- 17:49Speaker 1: It's not Nick Saban. I don't care.
- 17:50Speaker 2: He's broken so many roles. He should not be the
- 17:52Speaker 2: voice on this. It has to be you. I mean,
- 17:54Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 17:55Speaker 4: The first thing I would do is not answer the phone,
- 17:58Speaker 4: as everybody tried to call me to get me.
- 18:00Speaker 3: There are two cents that sa none.
- 18:01Speaker 4: No, No, I'm putting together a rule book that's gonna
- 18:04Speaker 4: be in writing, and I don't care what anybody says.
- 18:07Speaker 2: I love the friendly judge rule, where you just ban
- 18:09Speaker 2: guys if they are if they have a friendly judge somewhere.
- 18:14Speaker 3: I mean, I don't.
- 18:17Speaker 4: I don't know enough about the legal system. You can't
- 18:19Speaker 4: look at this judge.
- 18:20Speaker 3: And go, what the hell are you doing? You know
- 18:23Speaker 3: exactly what you're doing.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Someone. Shit. It's one thing to have a friendly judge
- 18:26Speaker 1: that gets you out of a speeding ticket.
- 18:28Speaker 4: Yeah, it's another one that says, oh, bettin your O team,
- 18:33Speaker 4: that'll lonely cost you two games.
- 18:35Speaker 3: That's fine.
- 18:36Speaker 4: And oh, by the way, the two games I had
- 18:39Speaker 4: it up here, I mean cup games.
- 18:40Speaker 3: I think it's.
- 18:41Speaker 4: Aplene Christian and somebody else. Yes, so you could basically
- 18:45Speaker 4: rest your starting unit the first two games.
- 18:48Speaker 2: They can't even get that right, Could it be the
- 18:49Speaker 2: first two conference games?
- 18:51Speaker 1: I mean something.
- 18:52Speaker 3: It's just it's again.
- 18:55Speaker 4: You just think the judge goes back in his chambers
- 18:57Speaker 4: and just takes his robe off and snickers to himself.
- 19:02Speaker 2: And someone on tech pats him on the back, and
- 19:04Speaker 2: he gets free tickets and yeah, oh yeah, all of a.
- 19:07Speaker 3: Sudden, he's up in the suite.
- 19:10Speaker 2: I am keeping an eye on this judge I have.
- 19:12Speaker 2: I don't know who he is, but let's keep an
- 19:13Speaker 2: eye on a Mikey. Al right, keep an eye on
- 19:15Speaker 2: the judge.
- 19:16Speaker 4: See he's eating he's eating peel and eats shrimp up
- 19:18Speaker 4: there in the suite.
- 19:20Speaker 2: He's watching tech games the way and treated at tech
- 19:23Speaker 2: Games the way Goldie is treated.
- 19:25Speaker 1: It notreed name games, Mike.
- 19:30Speaker 2: We appreciate the time as always, no prop Yeah, I
- 19:34Speaker 2: know you're rooting for the Spurs.
- 19:35Speaker 1: All pass out a lot to tailor. It's fine, It's okay, I'm.
- 19:38Speaker 4: Not I think they'll win, but I'm not rooting for
- 19:41Speaker 4: the Spurs. Boy, But what a what a what a uh?
- 19:46Speaker 4: Kind of a speed bump in the way of the
- 19:47Speaker 4: nick fans last night?
- 19:49Speaker 2: Well yeah, I went from a celebration to we're terrified
- 19:52Speaker 2: that we're gonna lose the NBA Finals in the most
- 19:54Speaker 2: embarrassing fashion possible.
- 19:56Speaker 4: Yepah, oh yeah, oh New York just went to negative
- 20:00Speaker 4: on today.
- 20:00Speaker 3: I'm sure, yes.
- 20:01Speaker 2: Should New York be mad that Bob Kraft is sitting
- 20:03Speaker 2: courtside because I was.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Outraged by it?
- 20:05Speaker 4: What what Me and my wife were trying to figure
- 20:09Speaker 4: out his connection and why he was why he was there.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Yeah, the connection is money.

- 20:22Speaker 4: celebrity seats and it went for a million dollars?
- 20:24Speaker 1: Yep, I did see that. God, that is something that's
- 20:27Speaker 1: a nice bid by you. I mean.
