- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's fuck ya Friday!
- 0:01[SPEAKER_01]: Fuck ya!
- 0:02[SPEAKER_01]: Get ready for some wins!
- 0:05[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to the Beat till you see it podcast, where we talk about taking messy action, knowing that perfect is boring.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm also Logan, Ply's instructor, and fit this business coach.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_01]: I've trained thousands of people around the world, and the number one thing I see stopping people from achieving anything is self-doubt.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_01]: My friends, action brings clarity.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_01]: and it's the antidote to fear.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_01]: Each week my guess will bring bold, executable, intrinsic, and targeted steps that you can use to put yourself first and be it until you see it.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's a practice, not a perfect, let's get started.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, Brad.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_00]: Can I not even believe this?
- 0:50[SPEAKER_01]: We're 600.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 0:51[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, you guys, this is an FYF episode and we recording it.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_01]: I had no idea what number that was and so we missed it.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_01]: And that's because we don't really care about being perfect, but we do care about celebrating.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_00]: I'm really fired up about this amazing that it's lasted as long as I had to leave it.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: Like when we first started, I don't think we would have thought, oh, we're going to, and on our 600 episode, we'll rebrand.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_01]: But we are.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_00]: We are.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_01]: We have a whole new look.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_01]: Have you ever seen it?
- 1:17[SPEAKER_00]: No, I literally haven't seen it.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_00]: From recording this, I have not yet seen it.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, well, go take a look.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's cool though.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_01]: It's really cool.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_01]: I really like it.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_01]: I love to hear if you really like it.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_01]: And I just want to say thank you.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, thanks for listening.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the celebration is kind of as big as it's like a part of you.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_01]: Like you're actually part of the whole celebration because we would not be here if it wasn't for you listening to the show.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_00]: You're amazing.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks so much.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_01]: And thanks for our amazing team.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_01]: Alright, here's your FYF episode.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_01]: Hi, be a babe.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_01]: Happy November 7th.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_01]: I can't believe we're here.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_01]: This is so fun.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_01]: My in-laws are visiting.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_01]: So we're doing vacation and family visiting and we've never seen our house in Vegas.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_01]: So it's really really exciting.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_01]: But before we get into my wins, we have to talk about some that's inspiring.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to talk about your wins.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_01]: And then we'll have a little affirmation and we will go kick ass or the weekend because being a tell you see it is about honoring what you did do and celebrating that so it's easier for you to see things are moving forward and not in a masculine action cup of a thing but just like you are becoming more of the person that you want to be inside and out every single day right it's hard, it's hard to be until you see it and where like it is say but 17 powerful sentences
- 2:30[SPEAKER_01]: that will change how you view the world.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_01]: So, I don't know a little read all 17, but I'm going to read several of them.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_01]: The link is in the show notes if you want more, but the mind is everything, what you think you become.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's so be it, tell you see it.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_01]: The mind is everything, what you think you become.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_01]: The root of suffering is attachment.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that's really interesting when we
- 3:00[SPEAKER_01]: So if I was attached to the goal, then I would have no win.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_01]: But you've heard us talk about how we've like celebrated acting as if we could win.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_01]: Like being the team doing all the effort that could have had the win happen, had everything else worked out.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_01]: So I agree with that one.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_01]: If you deeply observe, everything is your teacher.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: I love this one because as a pies instructor, it's really easy for people to talk versus just be an observation and they're like, oh my god, if I'm too quiet too long, then people think I'm not teaching, no, make sure they know what you're looking at, but like be an observation because then their body teaches you what it needs.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_01]: Three things cannot be long hidden, the
- 3:48[SPEAKER_01]: If you light a lamp for somebody, it will also brighten your path.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_01]: But yes, I love that.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_01]: Do not dwell on the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present movement.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that is Pilates right there.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_01]: I said I was on a read-a-maw, but I'm just loving them all.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: There's no path to happiness, happiness is the path.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_01]: Before you speak, let your words pass through three gates.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_01]: is it true?
- 4:13[SPEAKER_01]: Is it necessary?
- 4:15[SPEAKER_01]: Is it kind?
- 4:17[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's something we can all live by.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_01]: Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot cold with the intent of throwing at someone else.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_01]: You are the one who gets burned.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_01]: Change is never painful.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_01]: All of the resistance to change is painful.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I like that.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: Meena, tell you, see it.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: It's not painful.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_01]: The resistance will suck.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: What you think you become, you fill you attract what you imagine you create.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'll leave the rest for you.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_01]: But you guys, these, I mean, I might have to bring the other ones back for another day.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_01]: These are so great.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_01]: I might just keep them for affirmations of the end of an episode on another day.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_01]: I really love sharing things.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: Because I hope you know when I find these things I save them.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, I'm thinking of you.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: I think I'm truly thinking of you.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so I got a bunch of wins that you all sent me on Instagram.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm gonna read some of them for you.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_01]: How about this time for your wins?
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: And these are quickies.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_01]: So let's do a few.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_01]: All right, Kelly Pilates.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: I hit my goal of four to six miles walking five is in a row.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: Pulling for your moly.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: Kelly Pilates, four to six miles, that's a long time to walk.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_01]: I do about four-ish every day because I do two in the morning and two-ish at night, but like it's obviously like, I have a dog that makes it easier.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_01]: But that's amazing.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_01]: Five days and a row, what a goal.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: Pilates with Sarah Kaye completed my observation hours for my Pilates teacher training program and went to PT Pilates and a dog walk today.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_01]: Do you see, okay, I love Cyrus so much because she's like today I was able to go to PT Pilates and a dog walk winning like y'all just completing the task on your schedule is a win, okay?
- 5:56[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, all right, and then this is my neighbor, Tana Marie and Michelle, because it made me laugh.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_01]: So every Friday asked you like, what are your wins dropping below, right?
- 6:05[SPEAKER_01]: I was walking through the casino to go to the gym this morning and so you could hear the music playing in the casino on the story and so here it is.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_01]: My win today is that love potion number nine was a soundtrack to your walk to the gym.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_01]: She literally was singing all day long in her head or out loud at her house.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: I love that so much.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_01]: What a win that you could just like get a good song stuck in your head and it just makes your day.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_01]: So, you can send your wins into beepod.com slash questions, so you could ask questions, you can share your wins, and then I will show them out.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_01]: And we all need to remember our wins.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's really fun for me to go back.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes I'm telling new wins that happened in the past, because it just wasn't time to tell you.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, oh yeah, I did that.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_01]: I saved that.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_01]: So, my win today.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so the win is my in-laws are busy.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, and I know like for some people, I'm like, it's a win.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_01]: It's a win.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so the last time they visited was the week and we got married.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: They, you know, when I met them, I think they had mentioned that they were going to come visit, you know?
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: And then when we got engaged, we knew the dates that they're visiting.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_01]: We got engaged in May of 2015 and then we knew they're visiting October of 2015.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm Brad and not brass and Maryam and we were driving home from our can.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, well, when you're in a mirror and I was like, do you think your parents will come again?
- 7:22[SPEAKER_01]: And they might not know this and so they're listening, I'm sorry, but this is the truth.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, I don't know.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, well, though, I guess we're getting married in October.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_01]: So they haven't been back to visit now to their defense.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_01]: There was a pandemic in there and then they had an older dog and they didn't move whatever but they had kept saying they're going to visit.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_01]: We've lived in Vegas for over five years when they kept in a visit and I wanted them to visit.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: I want them to see the house would live and I want to see them more.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_01]: I like them.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_01]: So I am saying it's a win because I was a dog with a bone with like when are you coming?
- 7:55[SPEAKER_01]: And Brad was doing that and together and with a little passive, well, like Brad said I was not passive aggressive.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_01]: It was extremely aggressive.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_01]: I literally on a face sound was like, I just don't think you like me.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_01]: and then they bought a plane ticket.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_01]: And so what I'm gonna say is, the win is if you want something happen, do not stop, just keep going.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_01]: And if you're not getting what you want, don't be afraid to just be plain and simple and ask.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_01]: Am I not getting this?
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: Cause you don't like me or like, what is like, I promise you, you'll get the right answer, but you're gonna get a great answer.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_01]: And if the answer was, yeah, we don't like you.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_01]: Well, then I just save myself trips at Christmas time, like no big deal.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I mean, I'm sure that would hurt my feelings.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_01]: But like, the reality is there's nothing as ever as bad as you think.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_01]: So my win is my unlaws are visiting and our team knew in enough advance that Brad could take almost the entire time off with his family to be here.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I only have a little bit of work to do.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: So I get to be with them.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_01]: So we're like on vacation in our own home, which is like,
- 8:58[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, time for a little affirmation for you for the weekend.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_01]: When I forgive myself, I free myself.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_01]: When I forgive myself, I free myself.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: And I forgive myself, I free myself.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_01]: Babe, what do you need for give yourself from?
- 9:15[SPEAKER_01]: What's going on in your life that you would like just plain over and over in your heligo broken record, like you should have done better, just forgive yourself.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_01]: You free yourself.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_01]: That's all I got for this episode of The Beat Tell You See at Podcasts.
