- 0:00It's the worldwide sports radio network.
- 0:04The New England Patriots predictably ran roughshod over
- 0:08the hapless New York Giants on Monday Night Football in a game
- 0:11that was full of storylines, if not real competitive football.
- 0:14While the Patriots became the first team in the NFL to reach
- 0:17eleven wins, the Giants found new ways to stink up the joint
- 0:20on special teams while rookies Jackson Dart continues to take
- 0:24big hits and Abdul Carter got benched for the second time in
- 0:27three weeks for missing. Yet in the another team meeting
- 0:31we will cover it all and including the now MVP favorite
- 0:34in Vegas, Drake Mays incredible sophomore season and the
- 0:39baseball winter meetings are just around the corner.
- 0:41So we are going to dive deep inside baseball and cover some
- 0:45of the early trades and signings of the offseason before we crack
- 0:48a six pack with Speedy and make some Week 14 NFL picks on

- 1:19Aaron George and saying that he can't win the big game, Michael
- 1:23Jordan said. I played 82 games.

- 3:54You know, it's been an interesting, interesting week.
- 3:58And it's it's interesting for me because I'm always home now.
- 4:01I've been really just relaxing, enjoying the happy life of just
- 4:06hanging out at home and finding things to do.
- 4:09And I'm a I'm a guy that really just likes to hang out and
- 4:13clean. That's something that kind of
- 4:15soothes me when I'm bored. I'm just trying to find
- 4:18something to do. And Klene is like my, my Forte
- 4:22is my thing. But what I've been doing over
- 4:25the last couple of weeks is writing, and I wrote a story
- 4:29last night. I spent almost two hours last
- 4:34night into this morning writing a story about New York sports.
- 4:37And if you haven't read it, I sent it out to a bunch of people
- 4:40that listen to the show and it's going to be on ready.
- 4:43It's going to be on so many different platforms.
- 4:45I want everybody that is a New York sports radio fan to read
- 4:49this story. It is a great story.
- 4:51I'm not saying it because I wrote it.
- 4:52I put a lot of effort, a lot of time into it.
- 4:55And if you know me personally, you watch this show, you know
- 4:58that every single word I used in this story was me.
- 5:03And it's called the Funeral and Resurrection of New York Sports
- 5:08Radio, Why the suits killed it and why voices like mine will
- 5:14save it. And I did this not to put my put
- 5:18myself on a pedestal. I didn't do that.
- 5:20That's not why I wrote it and why I added that to the title.
- 5:24I added it to the title because I've been nothing but honest
- 5:27about New York sports. And there's so much breaking
- 5:30news, people being dropped from WFAN.
- 5:34McPherson decided to step down. He says he wasn't fired.
- 5:38That's a whole nother story. I don't know the inside take.
- 5:40Now the midday show is gone. Moving Evan and Tiki to the
- 5:45midday show. They're bringing back Craig
- 5:46Carton. It didn't work out with Fox, so
- 5:50I had my own take on it and I'm not taking shots of Craig
- 5:52Carton. Craig Carton has a big
- 5:54following. I understand why they brought
- 5:56Craig Carton back. What I don't understand is why
- 5:59doesn't WFN look at other talent out there?
- 6:02Some of the new talent that brings a different view, brings
- 6:05a different viewership to their network.
- 6:08That was my attack in this story and I went on the insurance and
- 6:12the outs of what New York Sports was and what New York sports has
- 6:15become and what it should be in the future.
- 6:19And I just absolutely dropped the hammer on what I think New
- 6:22York sports has really just passed through when it comes to
- 6:27accomplishments that Mike Francesa, Mike and the Mad Dog
- 6:31and what sports media and sports radio really revolutionized to
- 6:34bring it and open up waves around the country.
- 6:38And I had to attack it the way I attacked it.
- 6:41And I'm not, I'm not taking shots at all the suits from ESPN
- 6:45or WFN. And if that's the way you take
- 6:48it, well, then you don't know me.
- 6:50I did this because I am completely appalled by the way
- 6:55the networks are being run right now.
- 6:58I don't think it's right. I don't think it's right that
- 7:01they don't look at the massive amount of great young talent
- 7:05that is out there, that all they have to do is listen and hear it
- 7:10and give it a chance. Even if you don't sign up for a
- 7:13significant amount of time, have them fill in, not have your
- 7:16producers fill in because you think, hey, this guy might have
- 7:21a voice for this this business. How about bringing in new talent
- 7:25that actually have a voice that actually have been doing this a
- 7:28significant amount of time, absolutely have helped the
- 7:31digital wave of the industry and help some of the guys in the
- 7:35industry move up and become high profile producers for those
- 7:40networks or high profiled personalities for those
- 7:44networks. That's where I'm lost on the way
- 7:47this business is being run. And that's all I'm going to say
- 7:49about that. If you really want to check out
- 7:52the story. I was nothing but honest.
- 7:54I was funny. If you know who I am, you know
- 7:57that it was my humor, my analogies, my personality all
- 8:01stamped to one story. I didn't send it to Jabba after
- 8:05at the end of the show, I will send it to Jabba.
- 8:07I think people that understand what sports is and New York
- 8:10sports is will appreciate why I did this.
- 8:14And hopefully the suits, the directors, the producers in this
- 8:19industry right now will take a chance and read it and
- 8:22understand what I'm trying to say.
- 8:24Not thinking that I was taking a shot at them, but understand
- 8:28that this should be a more open, you know, road or open door for
- 8:33fans and talent to take a look at what the future could be with
- 8:39sports radio. And that's all I'm going to say
- 8:41about that. And the story that we have to
- 8:43get into are the New York Giants and they are absolutely future
- 8:46right now. The Patriots blew out the Giants
- 8:49on Monday Night Football 33 to 15 to become the first team in
- 8:54the NFL to win 11 games. It was also their tenth straight
- 9:00win, putting the Patriots into the number one seed in the AFCA
- 9:04half of a game ahead of the Broncos.
- 9:07The Giants head into their bye week at 2:00 and 11:00, second
- 9:12worst in the NFL behind only the Titans.
- 9:15Drake May is now the betting favorite at -135 to win the 2025
- 9:22MVP, moving slightly ahead of Matthew Stafford which is a +
- 9:26125 in the odds. In what Vegas is saying is
- 9:31basically a two man race for the award, Dak Prescott is at and
- 9:36third at 15 to one with Jordan Love 4th at 19 to 1.
- 9:42Mike Frabel, in his first year with the Patriots, is also the
- 9:46favorite to win Coach of the year this season.
- 9:49He then took shots at the Giants GM Joe Shane, who cut defensive
- 9:53tackle Corey Durden during the preseason, only for him to be
- 10:00the 18th best defensive tackle in the NFL by PFF Standard for
- 10:05the Patriots. Jackson Dart took another big
- 10:09hit going out of bounds, but said after the game.
- 10:13This is football. We're not playing soccer out
- 10:15here. You're going to get hit.
- 10:18The Giants other first round pick, Abdul Carter was benched
- 10:23for the first quarter after missing yet another team
- 10:26meeting. Apparently this has been an
- 10:29issue for Carter all season. That led to fines from former
- 10:34coach Brian Dabel and two benchings in three games.
- 10:39Now I don't know what's going on with Abdul Carter.
- 10:41I, I don't know. But in the offseason, the Giants
- 10:43are going to have to figure this out because whoever they bring
- 10:46in, if they can't control this kid, you're going to have to
- 10:49move them. You can't control a kid because
- 10:51he thinks he's that much better than his position and where he
- 10:55is on the team. Then he doesn't fit with the
- 10:57Giants. He doesn't fit the Giants
- 10:59culture. Mara needs to step in.
- 11:01He needs to sit down with this kid in the offseason and figure
- 11:03out what is going on in his, I guess, little P brain because
- 11:08you're playing for an organization that's been around
- 11:10a very, very long time that's had so many great, talented pass
- 11:13rushers. Abdul Carter was expected to be
- 11:16one of the best players in this class.
- 11:18He's look good up and down this year.
- 11:20He's had his good games and he's had his games.
- 11:22He's disappeared. His excuses after the game to me
- 11:26are null and void. I could care less what he has to
- 11:28say. You don't show up till practice.
- 11:30I don't care who the coach is. You have to figure out what your
- 11:34priorities are. Your priorities are team.
- 11:37It's not me. And if it's a me thing, he is
- 11:40not going to fit the culture of what the Giants like to draw to
- 11:45their reputation. I I know the Mara family.
- 11:48I don't know personally, but I've met John Mara before, I've
- 11:51met Steve Tisch. They seem like straightforward
- 11:54guys and they believe in that old style of football, teamwork,
- 11:58football and ownership has to step in and have a conversation
- 12:01with this kid. If he thinks he's bigger than
- 12:03the game, he's not going to fit moving forward.
- 12:06As far as the Giants protecting Jackson Dart, well, they need to
- 12:11figure this out in the offseason because they're going to be a
- 12:14high draft pick. Are they going to trade down or
- 12:17are they going to stay pat at #2 or #3 If they stay pat, they get
- 12:21the best offensive lineman in this class.
- 12:23They're going to have to look at The Jets.
- 12:25Say whatever you want about The Jets team as a whole this year,
- 12:29their offensive line has been their strength.
- 12:30What did they do at #7? I think it was #7 they went
- 12:34after Membo. Membo has been one of the best
- 12:36offensive lineman in all of football.
- 12:38Made some mistakes this past week.
- 12:40Nevertheless, he's been one of the more precision persistent
- 12:44and as the most precision at the right tackle position in the
- 12:48whole league in PFFI think he's ranked in the top ten in almost
- 12:52every single statistic. The Giants have.
- 12:55Thomas who can't stay healthy. The Giants need to figure out
- 12:58what they're going to do on that right side.
- 13:00Or are they going to move Thomas to the right side because of his
- 13:02health issue? Jackson Dart has been the only
- 13:06bright side to all of this. The guy goes out there, he plays
- 13:10hard. He needs to figure out how to
- 13:12stop running and putting himself in harm's way.
- 13:15He looks like Mark Sanchez was in his first two years with the
- 13:18New York Jets, as we all know. How do you?
- 13:20How do you tell a kid to stop knowing the game that he's
- 13:23playing? I feel like that's when they get
- 13:25really hurt. I don't know.
- 13:26I I think obviously whoever they bring in as their head coach is
- 13:29going to have to sit down with him and say, listen, you want to
- 13:32have a long lasting career or do you want to have a five year
- 13:34career? Think about it.
- 13:36And I think we. We talked about that too before
- 13:40kind of touching on it. But I get like how he wants to
- 13:43play, but man, if you're going to keep doing that, it's you're
- 13:46going to you're not going to be the guy you want to be because
- 13:49you just you can't withstand that.
- 13:51I mean, I obviously never played at that position or at that
- 13:54level, but I I don't want to get, I don't even want to hear
- 13:56the sound of it like, let alone have it happen to me over and
- 13:59over again. I would agree with you, Job, and
- 14:01I think obviously the organization needs to figure out
- 14:04first who the coach is going to be and then the offensive
- 14:07coordinator and then figure out how they're going to build this
- 14:11kids confidence in the pocket. We've seen this Will Lamar
- 14:14Jackson, when he came into the league, everybody thought he was
- 14:16going to be run, run, run. He figured out how to throw the
- 14:19ball and be more completion ready as a quarterback.
- 14:23And once he figured that out, I think Lamar Jackson became more
- 14:26of the one of the more efficient quarterbacks in the league
- 14:29stepping into the pocket and making the throws.
- 14:30But as far as the the Drake may saga and the the thought that he
- 14:39is going to be the MVP, he is not the MVP of the league.
- 14:42I'm sorry, I don't care what Vegas says, he can win out his
- 14:44games and he probably will because the schedule is just
- 14:47absolutely easy. If you look at the way the
- 14:51schedule is set up, this is the third easiest schedule in NFL
- 14:55history, third in NFL history. Think about that and you're
- 15:00going to give a guy that has one of the easiest schedules in the
- 15:04NFL the MVP. I'm not taking shots at Drake
- 15:06May. I think he's had a sensational
- 15:08year. Is he a top five quarterback?
- 15:10Absolutely. Mikey C was right about this.
- 15:12He he is a top five quarterback. There's no question that he is,
- 15:16but would he be a top five quarterback if his schedule was
- 15:19like, I don't know. Matthew Stafford's Matthew
- 15:22Stafford had a bad game this past week against Carolina.
- 15:25No question that he did. But Matthew Stafford never
- 15:27throws 3 interceptions in a game.
- 15:29I don't want to think I, I, I don't even remember the last
- 15:31game he threw into 3 interceptions in a game.
- 15:34So that was, to me, just a shocker and he was the favorite.
- 15:38Now all of a sudden, Drake May beats the Giants A-Team.
- 15:40That's absolutely horrible. And we've seen the way they've
- 15:43played over the last couple of weeks.
- 15:45Even with Kafka taking over for Dabel, we're going to sit here
- 15:48today and think that Drake May is the MVP of the National
- 15:52Football League. Ridiculous.
- 15:53Dick Rabel is, Rabel is the coach of the year.
- 15:58I don't think you could argue that him or McDonald.
- 16:01McDonald's been sensational this year.
- 16:02I can't take any any confidence away from what McDonald has
- 16:08built over there with the Seattle Seahawks and he's got a
- 16:12lot of confidence over there. I think the team has built a
- 16:14great reputation offensively, one of the more precision
- 16:19persistent and has so much precision over there
- 16:22offensively. And this is a defensive minded
- 16:25coach that's really transitioned.
- 16:26Everybody says that defensive coaches can't succeed as an
- 16:29offensive and defensive guy, while McDonald has proven that
- 16:32that is not a fact. But I'm going to tell you this
- 16:36right now. The Patriots, they are on a
- 16:40streak. They've won 10 games in a row.
- 16:42But the way their schedule is set up, is this going to benefit
- 16:45them when they get into the playoffs and they're matched up
- 16:48against one of the better teams in the AFCI?
- 16:51Don't know because I don't care. And by the way, there were a lot
- 16:54of cheap shots in that game by the Patriots, a lot of cheap
- 16:57shots at Jackson Dart. There was a lot of talking at
- 17:01the line of scrimmage, defensive tackles speaking to Jackson Dart
- 17:05when he was trying to get up. I think Jackson Dart was pretty,
- 17:08you know, pretty adamant on after the game.
- 17:10He says this is football and, and, and this is the way the
- 17:13game is played. But the the Patriots were head
- 17:16hunting. They were trying to hurt him.
- 17:18And in the Giants, who have been an organization that obviously
- 17:22have players that stick up for their quarterback, we've seen
- 17:27Eli Manning over the years get pulverized by teams.
- 17:30And then you see Michael Strahan or you would see, I don't know,
- 17:34Justin Tuck or OCU Manor or one of these guys come to his
- 17:38defense. I've seen it many, many times.
- 17:40Remember Antoine Roll? I remember he got Eli Manning in
- 17:45one game, got head head haunted and Antoine Roll went after one
- 17:49of the safeties that did it in the game.
- 17:51So after the after the game, he went after him.
- 17:53So there there are things that you do in football that
- 18:01obviously gives you the confidence and shows that you
- 18:03are you're you're backing up your player.
- 18:05And I don't think the Giants have done that enough this year
- 18:08for Jackson Dart. I think he he has to, he has to
- 18:12be more of a leader and not sit back and say this is football.
- 18:15I understand what he's trying to do.
- 18:17But if if I'm at the media and I'm speaking to the media, I
- 18:20know I'm being attacked and these guys are talking crap all
- 18:24game long at me. You can see it on television and
- 18:28you can see how many memes have been out there of the Patriots
- 18:31doing it. And nobody's protecting him.
- 18:34Nobody on the Giants offensive line was protecting when they
- 18:38were going on. They were laying on top of him
- 18:41and you see one of the defensive tackles getting up and still
- 18:43talking crap and nobody's getting in his face.
- 18:46You cannot do that. You got to get you got to take
- 18:49these guys by their necks and tell him you felt you F with my
- 18:53quarterback. I'm going to beat the hell out
- 18:55of you. And it just, it just to me, it
- 18:58doesn't show the confidence. And if I was, if I was Jackson,
- 19:02I'd be deathly afraid if I have an offensive line that's not
- 19:05protecting me the way they should.
- 19:08As far as where the Broncos are, the Broncos are probably the
- 19:12worst second place team. And I think the Patriots are the
- 19:15worst first place team we've ever seen.
- 19:18And that doesn't take away what they're doing this year.
- 19:20They're just really the the Patriots schedule has been
- 19:23horrible and the Broncos have won more games with with three
- 19:27or less points than any team in football.
- 19:31Their offense is horrible. Payton and Sean Payton supposed
- 19:33to be the mastermind of offensive, the offensive style
- 19:37of game. Him and Andy Rito are the
- 19:38specifically the the smartest guys and Sean McVay and and to
- 19:44me, the offense has been horrible, but the defense has
- 19:47been absolutely unbelievable, even without Patrick Surtain
- 19:50being 100% healthy. And Jack Prescott deserves a
- 19:55little bit more love than third place.
- 19:57I'm sorry, I and I think he's been as good as any one of these
- 20:01quarterbacks with all the losses and and losing Michael Parsons
- 20:06in the beginning of the season, all the tax, new coach,
- 20:08everybody attacking this guy all off season because of the the
- 20:12Patriots, The Cowboys gave him a $60 million contract extension.
- 20:17Everybody saying he's not worth it.
- 20:18Jerry Jones doesn't know what he's doing.
- 20:20He's senile. And they bring in one guy that a
- 20:23lot of people thought they can control.
- 20:25And by the way, they have and and George Pickens, who's been.
- 20:28Become one of the top three top four wide receivers in the
- 20:31league this year. I mean, you have to give Dak
- 20:33Prescott a little bit more love for that.
- 20:37I think I think they are like that everything that obviously
- 20:40we've been saying on show you specifically and it's like
- 20:44everybody kind is that. I think that the common
- 20:46denominator is like he does deserve more respect and he's
- 20:49always in the conversation. It's like we talk about with
- 20:53poops. He's always the bridesmaid,
- 20:54never the bride and he's always in the conversation and listen
- 20:58to shows this morning off and on.
- 21:00It's kind of what everybody says and what we've been saying is
- 21:02like he needs to deserve a little bit more love for what
- 21:05he's done in the last five years.
- 21:07But everybody's like I I think we do, but he's always in the
- 21:10conversation. He's just not like the
- 21:12conversation and I it's, it's kind of unfair.
- 21:16Does he probably really care? Not really.
- 21:17But I do think he needs more love.
- 21:20And I think it's being shown. It's just it's not to like what
- 21:24it should be for the things that he's done on the field.
- 21:27Speedy, I I know you're a Giant fan and you've watched the
- 21:32Giants your whole life and your root Big Blue, and you watched
- 21:36your quarterback get pulverized in a game and by the way, their
- 21:39kicker coup, whatever you whatever.
- 21:41That was embarrassing, by the way.
- 21:43Absolutely embarrassing. Actually, it doesn't count as a
- 21:45missed field goal. Though he was still 1, he was
- 21:47still perfect for the day. I don't know, maybe maybe he
- 21:50thought he was doing some kind of ballerina move because that
- 21:53was absolutely, that was probably the worst thing I've
- 21:56ever seen a kicker do in a game. I've never seen something like
- 21:59that before in my life. You're up there and all you're
- 22:02supposed to do is kick the ball and you kick your foot into the
- 22:06dirt. That's what you did.
- 22:08And you stood there looking and all you could see a Jackson
- 22:11Dart's face and say, and I read his lips, are you effing kidding
- 22:15me? I mean, think about it.
- 22:17If you look at Jackson Dart's view when they had when the
- 22:21cameras were on him, he was like shaking his head.
- 22:23Are you effing kidding me? I mean, I don't think that would
- 22:25have helped the Giants, but what an embarrassment that is.
- 22:29Just so embarrassing. Any Giant fan watching it
- 22:32probably were like, what the hell?
- 22:33I would have absolutely, completely dropped him after the
- 22:37game. OK, you're done.
- 22:38You're done. I don't want to see you.
- 22:39I've seen enough of you. Your memes were great.
- 22:41What? Is this last name?
- 22:42What is this? Cool?
- 22:44I want to say we're done with cool.
- 22:46You all right, cuckoo? Kudalu.
- 22:48He's cuckoo for Cocoa puffs or something.
- 22:51That was a good one, Speedy. That's a good one.
- 22:54Yeah, well, anyways. Good.
- 22:55I was going to say that the the Daniel Jones slipping on his
- 22:58feet blooper will be, I guess, lost in infamy as long as that
- 23:01what's going to go on for another 10 years.
- 23:03But going back to your scene with Dart, though, yeah, he's
- 23:05got to learn how to be able to slide and protect himself a lot
- 23:08better than he has. To reminds me of Mark Sanchez.
- 23:11Yeah, it's definitely not ideal. You saw Cam Newton do that at
- 23:13the beginning of his career too, when he tried to power it.
- 23:15Let's call Aaron Boone. Maybe they should, but
- 23:18nevertheless, they yes, it's an instinctual thing that Dart has
- 23:21to figure out how to play because yes, the offensive line
- 23:23is bad, but a lot of the hits that he's taking are also
- 23:25outside the pocket when he's running or rolling out too.
- 23:28And that's on him or and or the play calling because yes, Brian
- 23:31Dabel definitely affected some of it too, and that was a big
- 23:33reason he got fired as well. But now you're doing with a
- 23:35second coach too. And now the issues come to a
- 23:38rookie quarterback. Is he?
- 23:39Yeah, he's a rookie. He deserves a little bit of a
- 23:40pass. Understandable.
- 23:41But he's going to have to learn that if he wants to play a long
- 23:43enough career as a franchise quarterback, Abdul Carter, he's
- 23:46going to have to learn how to show up to meeting sometimes.
- 23:48He's going to have to learn how to do some of the things that
- 23:50Kayvon learn from what Kayvon Thibodeau did wrong his rookie
- 23:53year, too, because he was doing a lot of crap like that too, and
- 23:55that was the reason he didn't. Develop.
- 23:56This is worse. This might this definitely looks
- 23:58worse because now he's doing with two different coaching
- 24:01Staffs now and he's a he's a guy that was a highly more talented
- 24:04prospect and Thibodeau had some flare like flashy personalities
- 24:08out of his career out of Oregon. Carter was not thought of that
- 24:12way to the same extent. And he was supposed to be that
- 24:14good leader, that good defensive leader as a youngster.
- 24:17And now you're seeing all this stuff.
- 24:19You can't blame Dabel on that forever.
- 24:21Now you're doing it three different times as in that case.
- 24:24Patriots, yeah, they're playing an easy schedule.
- 24:26They're pretty well-rounded team, but yet nothing special
- 24:28overall. Their offensive still players
- 24:30are still kind of a question mark.
- 24:31Defense still has some areas in key positions where I agree with
- 24:34you. They're kind of like the third
- 24:35or fourth team I would trust in the AFC right now.
- 24:37Drake May is definitely second for MVP.
- 24:39But like you said, Stafford's played a harder schedule.
- 24:41He just threw his first interception in 28 gate 28 to 28
- 24:44touchdowns in that game against the Panthers.
- 24:48I, I will say this and for all the fans out there that are
- 24:51Giant fans, you have to understand that the Giants have
- 24:55always been the, the epitome of respect and, and Tom Coughlin
- 25:00and Bill Parcells, they drew the line from players like this.
- 25:04Abdul Carter would never last on any of those teams.
- 25:07As a matter of fact, Bill Parcells would have said to him,
- 25:09go home, get off the field. Tom Coughlin would have sent him
- 25:13home during the game. I mean, this is an
- 25:16embarrassment. You know you know what though,
- 25:18Errol? None of those teams were two and
- 25:1911. It's I, I get it.
- 25:22And I'm pissed off about it too as a Giants fan.
- 25:24Don't make any excuse for him. Don't make any excuses, fam.
- 25:28I'm going to. I'm just going to throw it out
- 25:30there. There's no leadership on this
- 25:32team. If you can't get your top guy
- 25:35that you drafted to buy in, it's just as simple as that.
- 25:39It's embarrassing. They I mean, the variable
- 25:42calling out Joe Shane thing I loved, you know, variable even
- 25:45goes, you know, the giant, he had a quote.
- 25:47He goes the giants didn't think he was good enough to be a
- 25:50Giant. We think he's good enough to be
- 25:51a Patriot. And now he's a top 20 defensive
- 25:53tackle in the NFL. It's unbelievable the amount of
- 25:56mistakes Shane has made with that roster.
- 25:59It's look, you could you could say about Thibodeau and them,
- 26:02you know, just not being that good.
- 26:04But the offensive line, Errol, I'm going to I'm going to defend
- 26:07the offensive line. It's the best unit on the team.
- 26:09They're a top 15 offensive line in the all of the NFL since
- 26:12Andrew Thomas came back to the league.
- 26:14He's ranked third in the NFL and PFF score for offensive tackles.
- 26:18Not taking shots in Andrew Thomas.
- 26:21Well, I'm he's he's the best, you know, like he's not as a
- 26:24need to switch to the right side.
- 26:26Illuminor's fine. On the road, it's health.
- 26:27I would move him to the right side.
- 26:29They don't. Need to draft a tackle at 2 is
- 26:32my point. There's no no reason for it.
- 26:35They need to trade the hell down if they're going to buy into
- 26:37Jackson Dart. That's the obvious thing to do
- 26:40and get a bunch of assets for the future.
- 26:42I just want to throw a little bit of love to the Giants
- 26:45offensive line because there's nothing else to throw love
- 26:48behind. I was watching that coup kick in
- 26:50the middle of the show on Monday, Errol.
- 26:51I almost threw up in the middle of the shot.
- 26:53I couldn't believe what I was watching.
- 26:55I I mean, I, I coach kickers for, for high school football.
- 26:59I've never even seen one of my kids do that.
- 27:02It's this guy's got like the Chuck Knobloch level yips.
- 27:06And with that baseball reference, we have a guest in
- 27:09Errol. We do and, and before we go, we
- 27:12invite him in. I want to say one more thing
- 27:14about the Giants game and we'll get Charlie in.
- 27:18I I have to say this because I know you're all Giant fans.
- 27:22I know Fish, you're a Giant fan. I know Speedy, you're a Giant
- 27:24fan. And I know Mr. Poops is a Giant
- 27:27fan. You cannot make any excuses for
- 27:30Abdul Carter. There is no reason to make
- 27:33excuses for a guy that is supposedly supposed to be a
- 27:36leader. He was a leader at Penn State.
- 27:39Penn State, there was up and downs when he was there last
- 27:41year. No matter what was going on with
- 27:43Penn State, he was a leader there and you're going to go out
- 27:47there and going to make excuses. There's no leadership here,
- 27:49okay? There's no leadership with the
- 27:50Giants. That's fine.
- 27:52You're you're the number one pick for the New York Giants
- 27:55this past year. You with a what, 3rd pick of the
- 27:58draft? And you were supposed to be the
- 27:59most coveted talented player in this class and you're going to
- 28:03go out there, not show up to practices, not show up to team
- 28:06meetings, do whatever you want because you think you're bigger
- 28:08than the team. I'm sorry.
- 28:10There's no excuse to that. And you can't make excuses to
- 28:12that. And that's all I'm going to say
- 28:14about that. And I'm tired of hearing giant
- 28:16fans make excuses for any player, just like I don't make
- 28:19any excuses for jet players for what we've seen over the years.
- 28:22Garrett Garrett Wilson was one that dropped the hammer on
- 28:26Source Garner this year and Quinton Williams.
- 28:28And where are they right now playing for different team?
- 28:30Anyways, it was a wonderful show.
- 28:32I I will say that the content was great.
- 28:35By the way, thank you to Charlie Slows for joining us.
- 28:36He was sensational. We really appreciate him.
- 28:39He gave us some great takes and baseball is nothing without
- 28:44Charlie Slows and the jobster. And we could add Nick Goody on
- 28:47that one. But Nicky is coaching some young
- 28:50baseball. But we'll have Nick Goody on
- 28:53next week. So thank you to all the fans on
- 28:55all the social medias by guys that reached out to me during
- 28:58the show wondering what happened to Quicken Jammer.
- 29:00You guys know now. So I apologize to the fans if I
- 29:04upsetted them on not getting the interview out again.
- 29:09We'll get Quentin Jammer on the show.
- 29:11I'll get a chance to have a conversation with him and
- 29:13hopefully clean up whatever happened in in any kind of way.
- 29:17That's why when you get a guest on the show, he's supposed to
- 29:21have a conversation on what he wants to talk about if if he's
- 29:25going to if he doesn't like the offset stuff that we, you know,
- 29:29we usually do on this show. That's what I would say on that.
- 29:32And hopefully he's not in his car the next time he comes on a
- 29:35show. I hate that.
- 29:36But anyways, again, thank you to all the Spotify Apple fans, the
- 29:41YouTube fans, the TikTok fans, the Twitter fans, the X fans,
- 29:47all the fans on all our show Instagram, all the fans
- 29:50following us, keep following us on, keep downloading us and keep
- 29:55enjoying the content that we put out.
- 29:57I again, I have a story up there about New York radio and I think
- 30:01people should check it out. It is a great, it's a great
- 30:04read, all right, and if you like New York sports and you're
- 30:08wondering why New York sports sucks so much, maybe you should
- 30:10read that anyways. I, I have to laugh because I, I,
- 30:16I enjoy the show and I, I think our show is one of the best in,
- 30:20in the country. And I think if nobody is tuned
- 30:22into it or had a chance to tune into it, it doesn't know what we
- 30:25do on this show. Well, now you know, and you know
- 30:29that we, we, we could be outlandishly crazy and funny at
- 30:32the same time, but we know our stuff.
- 30:34We know our sports and we have a lot of fun doing it.
- 30:36So we appreciate all the fans that stand by us and listen to
- 30:39us and watch us and tune into us every single week.
- 30:43Yeah. What do we have on?
- 30:45Who do we have on next week? So Nathan was able to get one of
- 30:49Connor Harris. He's a player for the Savannah
- 30:50Bananas. He'll be joining us Monday at at
- 30:528:45. I'm going to try to get our
- 30:54friend Adam Vyrant, the coach as well.
- 30:55I'm going to see if he'll join. He'll come well if if his
- 30:58players coming on. So he'll be on Monday and then
- 30:59on Wednesday. Matt Gage, he pitched this
- 31:01season. He's a relief pitcher, played
- 31:03for the Giants and the Tigers this season.
- 31:05He'll be joining us on Wednesday at 9:00.
- 31:07That'll be fun. A little gagey.
- 31:09Well, it's not Gage, you know, just engage or whatever.
- 31:13I got a football player. I know, I know.
- 31:15Anyways, yeah, it's been a great one.
- 31:18Again, fans, if you missed any of the show, go check it out.
- 31:21Go check it out on Job on the mouth, Spotify and Apple,
- 31:25YouTube. We'll have clips.
- 31:28You know, by the way, Jared is one more week with us, right,
- 31:31Jared? I think it's one more week with
- 31:32us. Yeah, I believe that's right.
- 31:35Yeah. And, and and Jared.
- 31:36I don't know, Jared, you could come on whenever you want.
- 31:38So it's not one more week if you want to join us whenever you
- 31:41want to join us. You could be a stay there.
- 31:43Two more. I'm sorry.
- 31:44Two more weeks. Like a.
- 31:45That one over like a Fardon church.
- 31:47As it always does. Anyways, again, we appreciate
- 31:50you guys. We love you.
- 31:52Stay tuned on Friday. We've got another show, Speedy.
- 31:56Friday. Friday we have, oh, I'm sorry
- 31:59today. Oh, tomorrow, tomorrow.
- 32:00I'm sorry. Thursday game on with Josh
- 32:02Silverberg and probably his father at 6:00 PM in the world.
- 32:06Boy sports ready. Can I give him?
- 32:07What is his father's name? Kahl Nelson.
- 32:08Nelson. Nellie Nell.
- 32:10We love Nelson. He's a Green Bay Packer fan too.
- 32:13And a Boston Brewer fan. How does that match anyways?
- 32:16Nelson with a Mets. Fan mixed in there.
- 32:18It doesn't make sense. It's not a Van A Knick fan.
- 32:20Anyways, thank you. We'll talk to you next week.
- 32:22Goodnight. It's the worldwide sports radio
- 32:26network. Radio Network.
