  SPEAKER_00: But he's just caught me at a refreshing point and relaxing point and backing off of being so busy that I didn't have time for Jesus.

  SPEAKER_00: I wasn't busy.

  SPEAKER_00: I was too busy doing other things, doing Christian things, doing work things, and not doing Jesus things.

  SPEAKER_00: And the Lord not just gently reminded me of that I needed to get back in the crew with everything.

  SPEAKER_00: I hope you're having a good start to the new year, and everything's going well for you.

  SPEAKER_00: I have also, I don't, you know, I don't sell anything or put anything on my website that costs money.

  SPEAKER_00: And the Lord uh inspired me or impressed me to start a donate page, and this donation page that will be whatever you want to give, uh small amounts.

  SPEAKER_00: Then when it gets up to$100, over$100 or so, I'll find some needy family or needy person on the street and bless them in the name of Jesus and give them the$100 or whatever the Lord tells me to do with it, to give to them.

  SPEAKER_00: Some people you don't want to give that kind of money to.

  SPEAKER_00: Some people are really uh flourish when you let them know that God still loves them and still cares for them.

  SPEAKER_00: Let's talk a little bit about John chapter 6.

  SPEAKER_00: This is the feeding of the 5,000.

  SPEAKER_00: Then after the people saw that he had done a sign, they were saying that this one is truly the prophet, the one who is coming into the world.

  SPEAKER_00: Then, since Yeshua knew that they were attending to come and seize him, so they could make him king, he withdrew again to the mountain by himself alone.

  SPEAKER_00: How many times when we get ready to get promoted, we stand up to the front of the line, stick our chest out, and just beam with pride.

  SPEAKER_00: There's nothing wrong with being proud in Christ.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm not talking about uh bad pride or jealous pride or anything like that.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm talking about the wearing the armor of God and the mind of Christ, so that you do the things that Christ wants you to do.

  SPEAKER_00: Anyway, they saw they were going to make him king, so he he got away from them and got where they couldn't get a hold of him.

  SPEAKER_00: And then he went on down here and he saw the crowd off and everything, and they fed fed everybody 5,000 men.

  SPEAKER_00: In numbers one, three, you don't count the women.

  SPEAKER_00: That's why the women were not counted.

  SPEAKER_00: You counted men, I think 18 or older, uh, who were able to fight.

  SPEAKER_00: You didn't count uh the women and the children.

  SPEAKER_00: Anyway, so he saw the crowd, they saw the crowd off.

  SPEAKER_00: The disciples were out rowing on the water.

  SPEAKER_00: They were about three, three and a half miles out, and here comes Jesus walking on the water.

  SPEAKER_00: And they were afraid.

  SPEAKER_00: And he said to them, Get this, I am.

  SPEAKER_00: You must stop being afraid.

  SPEAKER_00: I think to myself, easy for you to say, I'm a professional fisherman, and if I know the boat's gonna sink due to this storm, I'm pretty have inside knowledge.

  SPEAKER_00: But Jesus knew he wasn't gonna sink.

  SPEAKER_00: He he was uh commander over that, and he took care of it.

  SPEAKER_00: And then he told the crowd when they finally did catch up to him, most assuredly, I say to you, you are not seeking me because you saw a sign, but because you ate from the bread and ate your fill.

  SPEAKER_00: Do not work for the food that perishes, but work for the food which remains into eternal life, which the Son of Man would give you.

  SPEAKER_00: For the Father God attested this.

  SPEAKER_00: Therefore they said to him, What could we do that we would do the works of God?

  SPEAKER_00: Yeshua answered and said to them, This is the work of God that you would believe in whom that one sent.

  SPEAKER_00: Then they said to him, Then what sign are you doing so that we could see and we would believe in you?

  SPEAKER_00: What work are you doing?

  SPEAKER_00: Our fathers ate manna in the wilderness, just as it has been written.

  SPEAKER_00: He gave bread from heaven for them to eat.

  SPEAKER_00: Exodus sixteen, fifteen, Numbers eleven, seven through nine, Psalm seventy eight, verse twenty four.

  SPEAKER_00: Then Yeshua said to them, Most certainly I say to you, Moses has not given you the bread from heaven, but my father is giving you the true bread from heaven.

  SPEAKER_00: For that bread of God is that which descends from heaven and gives life to the world.

  SPEAKER_00: That word of God, we know him as Jesus, Jeshua, the Messiah, the anointed one, the Christ.

  SPEAKER_00: His name is called shall be called wonderful, counselor, mighty God, Prince of Peace.

  SPEAKER_00: That's the Jesus we serve.

  SPEAKER_00: So this year, forget the resolutions, forget the do good things, forget the things you're supposed to do.

  SPEAKER_00: Do what the Bible says.

  SPEAKER_00: Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus, who thought it not robbery to be called God.

  SPEAKER_00: We're not gods in the sense that Jesus are.

  SPEAKER_00: We're gods with a little g if you want to know the truth.

  SPEAKER_00: But we do have authority and power on this earth given to us by the Holy Spirit.

  SPEAKER_00: And after Jesus' ascension, we have the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

  SPEAKER_00: We have speaking in tongues.

  SPEAKER_00: And there shouldn't be a Christian on this earth going around in lack, need, want, and everything else.

  SPEAKER_00: You're always going to have poor with you, you're always going to have evil as long as the devil's here.

  SPEAKER_00: But that's no excuse.

  SPEAKER_00: Overcome the devil with your testimony, the word of God and your testimony and the blood of the Lamb.

  SPEAKER_00: And I'm going to go to ministering more through the podcast and through podcasting and the donations page that I mentioned earlier.
