- 0:06YouTube series. Let's get to and see what the
- 0:08crew has in store this week. Oh, here we go.
- 0:41We started looking guy, said You all take too long.
- 0:46You talking too much all the time.
- 0:48Oh my gosh. You all just missed about.
- 0:51Let's see, 10, 12 minutes of pre-show that that we should
- 0:57have been recording. Anyways, that's that's a fact.
- 1:01But anyhow anyhow welcome to Athletics.
- 1:04LLC everyone somewhat normalcy, somewhat normalcy but we're
- 1:10going to get get a dressing to some of the current and little
- 1:15bit past events that have happened.
- 1:17So we'll say Hi, and then move on.
- 1:22So the governor, how are you, sir?
- 1:26Mmm-hmm? I'm all right.
- 1:31Right. Leg is better than last week.
- 1:34Yeah, one weekend to my recovery.
- 1:38Yeah, I'm good. Thanks, seven days in one place.
- 1:42Can you believe I speak for yourselves?
- 1:47We are. That's your fault.
- 1:49Carnage, chaos and Mayhem. How are you sir?
- 1:54I'm doing great. I legitimately have asked three
- 2:00times today. What day it is so that should
- 2:02tell you where I'm at. Yeah.
- 2:07Pettiest. I'll tell you what day it is.
- 2:10Heaviest day in the history of the sport.
- 2:12I'm here for it. The baby is here for it.
- 2:15Chew no more desserts on camera. Let's go, let's go, let's go.
- 2:23Oh my gosh, listen, they won't get to see.
- 2:28It was eating a chocolate covered banana.
- 2:34That's all I'ma say. Too much information.
- 2:41It wasn't. It's exactly the right amount of
- 2:44information. Oh, my goodness.
- 2:46I mean, this was a dessert at Great America.
- 2:48When I was growing up, I found it at all these, this weekend
- 2:51was like, yes, please. So I got baked it.
- 2:56Anyway, I am absolutely wonderful.
- 3:06I do know what day it is this week.
- 3:08Last week, this time I couldn't spell my name hardly but I'm
- 3:11getting better. You know.
- 3:13I am in Eugene. And yeah, they one of the USA
- 3:20championships in the books. It was quite the day.
- 3:26It was, yes, indeed it was man. Oh man.
- 3:31Oh man. Well, what part of the argument,
- 3:37go ahead and start this argument.
- 3:38Again, as for the scoring debacle that we call the
- 3:42n-c-double-a championship scoring.
- 3:46I rescored it. I checked it and less so Carnage
- 3:50and I had a conversation last week and he agreed with me Excel
- 3:54only knows what Excel is told the know.
- 3:58I read this, the formulas. I checked my input.
- 4:02I still have the governor up 51, 250.
- 4:06I'm just saying, so the go, I don't don't get quiet now
- 4:13because we're listen, Sid scores again. our residents
- 4:29scorekeeper, and Yeah, we'll just leave it at that.
- 4:36She's already proven yourself to, you know, need a
- 4:39fact-checker so well that is quite an impotent response.
- 4:43Wow, Louis not impotent. I reserved very controlled.
- 4:48Very reserved yet very controlled compared to what we
- 4:50had before we got on the air. Again again, ladies and
- 5:02gentlemen. Cut in line of this man in
- 5:06public and he will embarrass you.
- 5:09He will do it. So funny that you mention that
- 5:16is that that happened today. And and big league, and I were
- 5:23in the car and listen. What if you're in a car, what
- 5:28does green mean? Green means go right?
- 5:31Yes. Okay, I'm from New York.
- 5:34So if I sat, if I sat for more than four or five seconds before
- 5:38I said anything, I'm doing pretty well.
- 5:40Am I not? Yes.
- 5:41Okay, I gave them seven or eight seconds.
- 5:47Boy, Point second. Oh my gosh, I don't understand
- 5:55it's what way stations. Are you making decisions that
- 5:58you're making at every like targeted and it's go time So,
- 6:05let's not, let's not digress. Let's let's move forward with
- 6:09something that's important in the world, you know.
- 6:11And like I said, I'm here in Eugene.
- 6:13And there has been a tremendous amount of conversation amongst a
- 6:18lot of people about some of the things that came out of the
- 6:22announcers, mouths at the NCAA championships or going to cover
- 6:27each other. You know, the people that loved
- 6:29what, our chiidren 3 was doing this.
- 6:32He says some things over cut out of pocket, right?
- 6:35Dwight Stones very out of pocket.
- 6:38You know like it and I won't take offense right away.
- 6:42Jacob Miley is the Rudy of our 4x4 team, right?
- 6:46He's the guy that was a 152 guy in high school side to become a
- 6:50quarter mile or this year, he got down to 46 one.
- 6:53He splits 45 8 at the NCAA championships and for the latter
- 6:58part of the race, Dwight to tends to choose to pick on him
- 7:02and they out loud. Say he cost us the chance to
- 7:08break the National Record. Well, would you already
- 7:11happened? We already had it first of all,
- 7:14so there's no way Jacob Marley can never share this moment with
- 7:17his children or grandchildren. Not with with audio anyway
- 7:21because the white stone is bashing him during us on our way
- 7:25to victory in the 4x4 relay, right?
- 7:29So so the white so you understand, we want to 58 the
- 7:32second fastest time a Collegiate history.
- 7:34He's Split faster on that relay that he did when we broke the
- 7:38Collegiate record. We set the right to the first
- 7:40time, right? And so even further facts, since
- 7:43we're running our mouths, the man was very ill and lost 14
- 7:48pounds and couldn't train for 10 days before we came to the me.
- 7:54So he feels bad movie. 58 is still Swift 45 8 after being
- 7:59ill, after losing 14 pounds not training for 10 days.
- 8:03So, if anything, Jacob, Marley's, the hero here, he's
- 8:06nobody to be picked on, is nobody to be made fun of.
- 8:10And he also, by the way, is that national champion in Nashville
- 8:13record over? So that's why I'm going to start
- 8:16with that. Foolishness said, well, I mean
- 8:18for the I've never seen somebody run 45:18 get called when and
- 8:22just get called like Like you know, the only reason it makes
- 8:26it closer to my Jacob Molly got the 45 day, I mean, Jacob
- 8:31Marley, may have cost him a chance to break the National
- 8:32Record, what? We hold the record already.
- 8:35And you know, and also since we're calling out the white you
- 8:39were the one that decided we were trying to break the
- 8:41National Record. There was no point in time that
- 8:43anybody from University of Florida said let's go out and
- 8:45break the National Record tonight and me being the guy
- 8:48that started that damn drink. I can tell you that wasn't our
- 8:50goal. The goal was to shut people up
- 8:54like him. Who said, we only broke the damn
- 8:56record because we were chasing professional team.
- 9:00Make sure he wasn't. What I thought was most
- 9:03interesting about that, right? And again you have to know
- 9:05backstory stuff to get all of the context in the thing said on
- 9:09camera camping. Allison said that record wasn't
- 9:12no fluke. And I was like, damn, they
- 9:15really felt that like, people were really running around
- 9:19saying that like the only broke. Okay.
- 9:22Listen I don't care if you're chasing the Roadrunner 258 is
- 9:25258, right? I mean, that's not sick.
- 9:31Last, I checked. 258 is 258. That's also while I'm ranting,
- 9:37let me now. Move over to mr.
- 9:39Are Robert Griffin. The third who I have always been
- 9:42a big fan of as an athlete, right?
- 9:45And being an athlete and being in the sports that he played,
- 9:48you know, I don't think he, I think he of all people would be
- 9:51sensitive to being disrespectful to folks, okay, you know, think
- 9:57he called you. He blockburger Johnny lock
- 10:00Burger because he'd locked up in the last 100 meters of of the
- 10:03for disrespectful wrong. Okay.
- 10:07Joseph andouille. Who last year was a 1022.
- 10:10Guy runs 10 flat and wins the hundred and all we can talk
- 10:15about is oh how terrible? The starter is it out of his
- 10:18mouth comes? Come on coaches.
- 10:21Let's teach him how to start a little better.
- 10:23He could be a dominant Force to the next level.
- 10:25Okay. So now I'm going to borrow for a
- 10:28Moment from my guy, the pet is Day Ever, Robert Griffin.
- 10:32The third. How about coaches?
- 10:35Teach this guy, how to read defenses.
- 10:36Maybe he's still in the league, and there it is.
- 10:58And maybe like, maybe, maybe, if you come to Florida, and I went
- 11:01to Baylor, you might have said, no just
- 11:23go. Is everybody ready?
- 11:24Hold on. Let me, let me hold on.
- 11:25I will be in the next week. I promise you that.
- 11:29For sure. I'm ready.
- 11:32Let's go. Maybe jumping in their chairs.
- 12:05Last week we talked about this topic, everybody was largely
- 12:10complimentary except me, I had these notes.
- 12:14The difference is Sir lucious got to go home and watch it.
- 12:17Mmm experience when you get to hear it yourself and now you see
- 12:24the person who was being discussed, having his reaction,
- 12:29mine was tempered because it wasn't talking about me, okay?
- 12:34To me. It's simple.
- 12:35Okay? Now having done broadcast and
- 12:38been given the opportunity to do broadcast over the years, I had
- 12:44to learn on the fly. Like I learned really, really
- 12:47quickly. For instance, if there's a
- 12:50blanket finish, do not call out the winner because you don't
- 12:55know what you're up in the booth.
- 12:58You can't tell the the separation of mm or whatever.
- 13:03Don't wait for them to call the winner.
- 13:06So that's one of the things I had to learn, you know, and my
- 13:09colleague sitting next to me was like, hmm, what if you're wrong?
- 13:14You know, kind of without even saying anything right?
- 13:17But please, if mr. RG3 had done his homework and
- 13:24and watched mr. Fumble a run and had watched
- 13:28what he had done at scc's and and whatever he would have
- 13:32known. This is how this young man runs
- 13:36and this is how this young man wins it.
- 13:39Nobody says that you have to be as have we ever.
- 13:44I mean, how many people said this about Carlos?
- 13:48Okay? How many said how many people
- 13:50have watched Carl Lewis? Be the fifth or sixth kid out of
- 13:54the blocks and in here he comes 70 80. 90 winner, right?
- 14:00Right. This is no different.
- 14:03Okay, thank you Korean, thank you.
- 14:06Thank you going. I'm sorry.
- 14:08I mean, it's, you know, if you are going to commentate and
- 14:15you're going to throw your two cents in and you're going to
- 14:17have these things to say, make sure it's an educated comment.
- 14:23Right? You cannot you cannot just have
- 14:27the, the track and field world. That knows mr.
- 14:31Fumble a. And then you come along On top
- 14:33of it and say, oh please, someone needs to fix this.
- 14:36No, no. Okay, and let me say this.
- 14:41Let me say this, you know, and I'm sorry I am wired tonight.
- 14:45I was really tired last week as most of, you know, I was
- 14:48exhausted. And the mistake I made was to go
- 14:51back and watch the tape and Collective because because in
- 14:56the end, it's pretty as day Evers fault because he said, you
- 14:59know, you need to go watch the day tape, right?
- 15:03So, so let me say this. When it comes to the 100 meters,
- 15:06that's just a little less, it lets, you know, our job has
- 15:08always been to educate folks, right?
- 15:10So let's educate the way we educate.
- 15:12Our G3 and educate, Dan and Laura and whoever else is in
- 15:17the, in the thing, the two most overrated and overuse statement,
- 15:22when it comes to the start our reaction time and drive thing,
- 15:29Right? Because people really don't know
- 15:31what either one of those are reaction time is is a joke
- 15:35people like, well, if he to reacted this much faster speed
- 15:38of ran this fast, no, it's not true, right?
- 15:42And the whole Drive phase thing, unless you're John Smith and
- 15:46Trevor G, you don't know what they'll drive.
- 15:48Is it okay? Because there's a lane Thompson
- 15:53to a drive phase and not based on what John and those guys did
- 15:57Ronnie Baker. Coleman.
- 16:00Did you see anybody doing a dry face down the minutes Trey Kerby
- 16:03ain't doing no? Damn job babe.
- 16:04Hmm. So-so the point, the whole point
- 16:10of the start is to set the body in the proper motions to set up
- 16:15an experiment. The proper acceleration pattern
- 16:18to be at your top and between 30 and 60 and then maintain that
- 16:23from 60 to 100. That's the start.
- 16:27The start is not who reacts for first started, not the first
- 16:29person to 10 meters. Okay, so if you want to
- 16:34understand the start pop, somebody who knows something
- 16:37about the start, because clearly nobody in the booth has a clue.
- 16:41Yeah, okay and it was okay. Wasn't like he nip them at the
- 16:45tape. He won the race was a fool to
- 16:47the music. Yeah, he took that whole field
- 16:51apart and like that. I think that's the part of it.
- 16:55Look, I'm going to say this. I hope that.
- 17:02Somebody shows this RG3. And that he humbles himself for
- 17:0730 seconds. And here's what I'm about to
- 17:09say. I don't want us to throw the
- 17:11baby out with the bathwater. I think he was phenomenal
- 17:14overall and I think he will be a great asset to our sport because
- 17:19of his reach, right? Because to say that, a Canadian
- 17:24athlete was running through the six with his woes was phenomenal
- 17:30to under, you know, to recount for see the two lethal kick?
- 17:37Like what in the family is going on?
- 17:39Like I'm good with all those right but you this is the thing.
- 17:43You gotta understand. If you gonna be on television
- 17:45all they're ever going to do is find them steaks.
- 17:49So, if you're gonna do enough research to be positively cute,
- 17:55in those areas, you can't talk about someone start who smashes
- 18:02everybody and runs for a guy, that's coached, a whole bunch of
- 18:05guys that are run under 10 and you can't call the one white
- 18:10Sprinter in the final, the M&M of track and field.
- 18:14You just can't, you can't do those two things.
- 18:16No, right. And so at the end of the day,
- 18:19It's like listen, bro. I want you, I want you on on our
- 18:24shows. You, I am the EP of this show.
- 18:28You are, you are for sure. Invited to be on this show, but
- 18:33understand you lose me as a fan if you don't grow from this
- 18:37experience. Because because I love what he
- 18:43brought, it was something different, right?
- 18:47Like we appreciate Auto for his greatness.
- 18:52Intellect that his interest in his ability to teach common
- 18:57food. What I really want to I want to
- 18:59I want to say this and then we have to let Clyde talk with us
- 19:02about the jump to the script I'm sorry.
- 19:05Okay, great. So And talking about people who
- 19:10understand the start, these three people reached out to me
- 19:16and one of them walked up to Joe and complimented him on his work
- 19:22and getting better at the start and understanding the proper
- 19:26mechanics and the race. Hmm.
- 19:28Jon Drummond. I do.
- 19:29Bolden Carl Lewis. Wow.
- 19:33Walked up to Joe after the racing.
- 19:35Congratulated him on. Improving his start in.
- 19:37Understanding work on the respect.
- 19:39Yeah. I'll wait.
- 19:41What? What are those do you guys know
- 19:43about starting clearly nothing nothing.
- 19:46I mean, I have my have my giant sized water today.
- 19:52Floor is yours sir. Be doing a lot of sipping during
- 19:55the show, today is my day to sip.
- 19:58Okay this, if we're going to criticize People starts from the
- 20:03NCAA 100 meters. I mean, Michael Williams had a
- 20:06bad day. And that's supposed to be his
- 20:09thing. Like that's like that's the
- 20:12part. I just don't understand in a
- 20:14moment of Triumph. If you're going to pick
- 20:17something apart, take apart, the people that chose don't part the
- 20:21part that dude who just one that doesn't make any sense to me.
- 20:24No, but like I said, I said it last week, I said you can.
- 20:30Dudes, a little corny. Anyway and so sometimes corny.
- 20:34People get, they try real hard to make jokes and that's cool.
- 20:38Sometimes the jokes land, sometimes they bomb.
- 20:41But when they bombed, it was disrespectful bombing and that
- 20:45meant it was like, the loose moments, the non-scripted
- 20:49moments. Yeah.
- 20:50Now, as the disrespectful, and that's why I'm like, okay?
- 20:53So so are you gesturing? Or is that really what you
- 20:57think? Because if You're gesturing.
- 20:59Then you're performing and disrespectful performance.
- 21:02Shouldn't be in the booth if you just don't know, then you gotta
- 21:07learn some things like, you know, but hey, I'm so happy that
- 21:13I inspired the goat to go home on his days off on his
- 21:19well-earned because this is what I was hoping to get last week by
- 21:28Nuit. And seen it.
- 21:29So, yes. I was so tired.
- 21:31Last week, man, I could already see straight.
- 21:33I can't wait, I can't wait till Friday night with my phone
- 21:36starts to see this episode. You are forgiven sarju event to
- 21:44be fired last week. It was you.
- 21:48We are now big lie. Is it Carnage in Eugene time?
- 21:57It is okay. Yes ma'am, right?
- 22:07I get a handful I'm going to call it nice.
- 22:10A handful of messages. Have you guys recorded this
- 22:13week? I said no, we have not.
- 22:16This is multiple messages. Please go over Eugene day one
- 22:23and I said okay I'll make sure this happens.
- 22:26I kid you not no purple messages about me to do day one.
- 22:31So so so. So that's the beauty of the
- 22:34accident that is this show from time to time, right?
- 22:36Like we don't have a record necessarily on the same day.
- 22:40It's very, you know, get it in where we can.
- 22:43It is just so happened that the stars have aligned and the
- 22:47universe has consented Added that we are shooting the show on
- 22:50the pettiest day ever. I'm here for Carnage chaos.
- 22:57And okay. So so let me throw the first
- 23:01alley oop of the night shaqiri Richardson.
- 23:05Okay wait wait because that alley-oop was thrown to Clyde
- 23:10and I want him to dunk it. You just want to say, I want to
- 23:13set this up for our audience because not everybody has
- 23:16watched from Year One. In year one, we had Alan Johnson
- 23:20on the show, and Alan Johnson said, absolutely perfectly.
- 23:24So, I'm not even going to try to like pontificate.
- 23:27I'm just going to steal from him.
- 23:29The problem in our sport is, there's a great number of people
- 23:32who are running for contracts, not careers, mmm, with that
- 23:39context. Let's continue alley-oop.
- 23:42Throne Clyde, do your thing. Listen, I want to be clear for
- 23:49my point because I get misconstrued.
- 23:54I do not root against. People per se.
- 24:00You just read from chaos, I route no I root for like
- 24:07self-fulfilling prophecies to come into the light because
- 24:11here's the thing I predicted this train wreck three years ago
- 24:18and everybody told me, I mean I'm being a hater.
- 24:24I'm against the black woman so this madness I'm like, how do
- 24:29you not see what's On here. The girl ran fast one time.
- 24:37It was spectacular. It was an NCAA record.
- 24:41It was one of the records that a lot of people didn't think so,
- 24:44but hasn't she hasn't. She run fast a couple times
- 24:46since then. The hundred, she's Waterman.
- 24:48Oh okay. Okay, I'm sorry.
- 24:51I'm sorry, you ran fast one time and it was a record that a lot
- 24:54of people didn't think was going to get tough.
- 24:56We have a few of those, in the NCAA, although, certain losses
- 24:59is doing his best to Cripple all the rest of them, okay?
- 25:04And in that moment, everybody in the state, Preemie said, well,
- 25:09write the check. And when you take a person who
- 25:14is woefully unprepared for the level that you're supposed to be
- 25:20at and the money that you're going to get for being at it and
- 25:24you reward them for doing nothing at that level.
- 25:28This ultimately surfaces Right after that it was Prefontaine.
- 25:35She got lit up. Everybody said oh it's her first
- 25:38time I'm like yeah but how you lose matters then it was USA's
- 25:432019 the Collegiate. Yes.
- 25:48Annuals one on Danos. Great to carry was dead last and
- 25:53she went under the ground to the cameras and started talking
- 25:58trash about coaches started. Talking trash about.
- 26:01I'm tired and all Making excuses and I said how you lose matters.
- 26:08Then covid cane and cut us all the brake, right?
- 26:13And there's just been so many examples.
- 26:15The girl runs. She's a front-runner.
- 26:17She runs fast when she's comfortable, she runs fast when
- 26:21she knows she's supposed to win minute.
- 26:24It gets a little tight. It goes.
- 26:27It goes to shit. And then there's excuses.
- 26:29And the crazy thing to me is in the NFL, when quarterbacks do
- 26:32that, we flame in the nymo in the NBA of players do that.
- 26:38We blame them, but somehow in our community, she supposed to
- 26:43get And it doesn't make any sense to me.
- 26:47It's but she's good for the sport is she though, is she
- 26:51really, I've been saying that the whole time she's chasing
- 26:55Fame. She's about two clicks, she's
- 26:58about to likes. She's about to social media.
- 27:01And that may be. What's the engaging right?
- 27:06That may be engaging but it's not a net positive for our
- 27:08sport. There's nothing positive about
- 27:10an overpaid underperforming loudmouth.
- 27:13Disrespectful child. Who can never live up to the
- 27:18moment. There's nothing positive.
- 27:20That comes of that. And we have millions, and I do
- 27:23mean Millions, because she has a huge fan base.
- 27:25We have millions of people riding for it, like, it's a
- 27:29thing to aspire to, it's not, if she want to be on the Real
- 27:33Housewives, go do that. Well, after this, if Nike takes
- 27:37the money, go try out for the WWE because that's where her
- 27:41platform. And the way she behaves belongs.
- 27:44I would totally root for The Flash and the in the WWE
- 27:48featuring shekere chasing people around.
- 27:50Triple spent, you know, whatever.
- 27:52I'm rooting for that. But this here, it's not good for
- 27:54the sport. It's not a good look.
- 27:55And today was just, it's predictable, it's predictable.
- 28:01And if it wasn't today, was going to be three weeks from
- 28:03now. So, give it to me early, I'm
- 28:07here for it. I mean I guess I'm probably the
- 28:15only one that should follow that.
- 28:19Listen I think the only fortunate part for for the
- 28:26aforementioned Miss Richardson is she's only one of like 30
- 28:34today that that met the Grim Reaper that is the definitive
- 28:40nature of the sport of track and field.
- 28:43For those of you who don't watch the show every week, my son is a
- 28:46professional baseball players, a minor Leaguer.
- 28:48I've been telling him for the last ten years.
- 28:50The hardest sport to be a professional in his track and
- 28:52field and he's like, well, why would you say that?
- 28:55I said? Well because to be relevant, you
- 28:57have to be top 10 in the world. And to be a household name, you
- 28:59got to be top three. That's why.
- 29:02And our sport does not. Take kindly to hubris.
- 29:12You know, if you are not humble in your Ascension, you will get
- 29:19dragged by the sport of track and field because its finality
- 29:24is just brutal, right? Like at the end of the day,
- 29:30Train 1131 and didn't make it out of the first round of US
- 29:34championships, their world championship here and I'll just
- 29:36say this for the record. Literally, no healthy human.
- 29:41Who's getting the bag has ever done, that?
- 29:45Right. It just it says it doesn't
- 29:47happen in our sport, right? And, and, and the problem, the
- 29:52problem you have is If you watch what happened today, there are a
- 29:58great number number of well, look, let's go back.
- 30:01I want to link this in. There was a, there was a tweet
- 30:05that came out and it was basically what I think it's like
- 30:0844% of the, of the athletes at US championships are actually
- 30:13sponsored, so they're Affiliated and not and not unattached.
- 30:17Okay. So if that few number right, so
- 30:20less than half of the people competing at our national
- 30:22championships are actually, you know, representing a brand End.
- 30:27Be it Nike or, you know, come on in Track, Club, whatever it is,
- 30:32you know that like less than 50% of the athletes competing in the
- 30:36meat are actually sponsored, okay.
- 30:41So when people in that Elite group, Show up to the meat, on
- 30:49prepared, not fit, not healthy, just arrogant.
- 30:58At the end of the day, like look, there's a spot where
- 31:00you're allowed to not make it right.
- 31:04Like, you can be a sponsored athlete.
- 31:06Make the final but not make the team.
- 31:08Then the sympathetic narrative is spun.
- 31:13You can be a sponsored athlete and In the semi and get dipped
- 31:20at the line. Or do you know Randolph, Frost
- 31:23last year, like not running through the line and not
- 31:27advancing, right? Like, will accept that?
- 31:31Let me tell you what our sport is never going to accept your
- 31:34getting the bag. You run your mouth, you
- 31:37disrespect, one of your competitors, call them out of
- 31:41their name, Panini, and and then you and then you don't make it
- 31:47out of Of the first round at US championships when somebody of
- 31:51your ilk should be shutting it down 20 meters from the felt
- 31:55like I should be complaining that I hate that Superstar
- 31:58athletes do that because then young kids think they're
- 32:01supposed to do like that's who you're supposed to be.
- 32:03You're supposed to run like you know 1102 and stop running 30
- 32:07meters from the finish line and and then I'm complaining that
- 32:11you're teaching young kids to do that.
- 32:12What you're not supposed to do is be digging around 11, 30 epu.
- 32:17Who gets bounced in the first round at these championships.
- 32:19You know, that's for people who are about, people who are about
- 32:22to retire for sure. You were supposed to retire and
- 32:24high school kids. Yeah, that's yeah.
- 32:28That's what that's the accept. But we saw we saw contracted
- 32:32athletes today run. You know, 53 seconds and 46 47
- 32:38seconds and no Mark in the long jump and he likes it.
- 32:43It wasn't I would like to put this in there also.
- 32:47Because there are people that have Nike beside their name,
- 32:52that are the definition of what you, the phrase, you coined, the
- 32:56broke specials because you know you can enter another intern IQ
- 32:59didn't mean Nike sponsored. You it means you have a kit.
- 33:02You have a gear you know that's you can't pay bills with came
- 33:05here, you know. So I think that like when we're
- 33:11talking about this you know when we talk about the bag, the Prada
- 33:16bag is the problem. Right because, you know, 100%
- 33:20the problem. So when soon said shoe company,
- 33:23pays said athlete a million dollars a year and they have
- 33:28zero Metals. Okay.
- 33:30What's the athletes motivation to go after said medals or after
- 33:37said performance, Yeah. Okay.
- 33:40Because okay if you're making a million dollars a year and there
- 33:43is a clause in your contract. That says if you don't do X Y
- 33:47and Z we're going to cut your contract 10%.
- 33:49Okay. Good.
- 33:51After the second, you were going to catch you 25%.
- 33:55So after the second year, you're still making over half million
- 33:59dollars. We're all right.
- 34:02Yeah, it's also about the teenage phenoms that have done
- 34:08nothing. They got the long-range
- 34:10contract. I think it, I think it goes
- 34:14deeper than that. Look up.
- 34:17I mean, let's put it this way. They've been, there's always
- 34:24been talk about whether or not track and field benefited from
- 34:27the bolt era. And when you think about the
- 34:30gold era, what did we see? Well, we got to a point where if
- 34:35he ran five or six times a year, that was a lot, right?
- 34:41It was well known what his appearance fee was, you know,
- 34:44you're having track meets that are having to literally take
- 34:48half their budget to give to him. um and then years watching
- 34:52the rest of the race, and it's a whole bunch of Weekend, Warriors
- 34:54and local kids and all that stuff and You know, what's being
- 35:00missed in all of this? Folks, realize do folks realize
- 35:05if someone's making a million dollars a year and you're
- 35:08telling them, they have to show up to a diamond lie to win,
- 35:1010,000 dollars, are they going to show up?
- 35:15No. Right.
- 35:17What is the incentive, right? That think about this, if you
- 35:23are speaking to exactly what I'm talking about, the biggest
- 35:27profit championships, a billion dollars for the winner, the
- 35:31biggest prize off. In our sport is if you set a
- 35:35world record at the world championship and it is 100
- 35:38thousand dollars and is the largest amount of money that you
- 35:42can win. Yes, on the spot.
- 35:46Hate for from World athlete who is there and you have to do it
- 35:50there so you have to be the best in the history of the sport at
- 35:53World Championships and that's worth 100 Grand or 10% of your
- 35:57contract for 10% of your contract to wear.
- 36:03It's and that's like that's just part of the issue, right?
- 36:06Is this like listen I want everybody understands, we're not
- 36:10saying that like don't pay people, that's not what we're
- 36:13saying but there's it not being a professional sport and they're
- 36:20not being a like there's not a bottom you can't halfway, you
- 36:24can't halfway be professional. There's not a bottom.
- 36:27This is you can be a pro, you can be a professional track and
- 36:30field athlete and make zero dollars and zero cents.
- 36:33Yes, that is that is true but let me be clear.
- 36:36I am saying don't paint. Because he's might be going to
- 36:40be considerably. Because here's my issue in this
- 36:43doesn't need to necessarily be about shekere per se.
- 36:46Anybody can do this. Not just about curious about the
- 36:50whole. No, no, no.
- 36:51It's about the whole sport because because they were I'm
- 37:00certain he'll be Pro sometime soon last.
- 37:03I checked, he has no medals. If you tell me that we're going
- 37:07to pay Joe. Okay, cool.
- 37:10But then don't tell me in order to a Joe company X had to
- 37:14dismiss or cut or reduce people with Metals, correct?
- 37:19That's the problem that's the problem.
- 37:21Our sport does all the time. You take money and food away
- 37:25from the people who have proven they can you can do the job and
- 37:28you end those careers prematurely to bet on people
- 37:31that have done nothing. So I'm saying, don't paint.
- 37:35Show me. That's the that's the reason
- 37:37Allyson Felix is sponsored by Athleta.
- 37:39There you go. Wait, like that's that that's
- 37:42the reason that is literally, the reason for that.
- 37:44And it's funny that you pick Joe because Joe was probably one of
- 37:48the most professionally acclaimed athletes to ever be in
- 37:54college. He was an Olympic finalist.
- 37:57Yes, you're right. Like Joe, all right there.
- 38:05Like like I could actually live with you pay and Joe the bag
- 38:08because he's already been an Olympic finalist.
- 38:11He was two spots from the podium.
- 38:13Right. Right.
- 38:14But let's be clear. There's a whole lot of other
- 38:16folks that have already gotten said bag and I'm not going to
- 38:20pick on names because that's just not it's not only what I'm
- 38:23just no no but I'm just going to say this like listen, there's a
- 38:27whole group of people out there not living up to their
- 38:33contractual obligations. And and I'm and what they don't
- 38:37understand is that's not bad for them, it is bad for them.
- 38:41But that's bad for our sport, right?
- 38:45It's the reason why you have to be inside the top ten in the
- 38:49world to get any sort of contract from any sort of
- 38:53company. We have been leaked quote,
- 38:56unquote old heads. The one thing that was a
- 39:02guarantee when we were competing, was that your agent
- 39:07calls you up says, hey I got you a small meat and bellinzona,
- 39:12right? It'll just be you.
- 39:14Okay, they won't you you'll be the show.
- 39:17Hey, just just get on a plane. No problem.
- 39:21Get off the plane, walk into the lobby and you look around.
- 39:25You're like, kidding me. Why are you here?
- 39:32Yeah, well, I'm here because you're here, right?
- 39:36And that was the essence of the old circuit.
- 39:40I mean, I was told like, as rule number, one, two, three.
- 39:44And four. If you want to be ready for the
- 39:47world Champs, you gotta line up with the folks that are going to
- 39:51be at the world Champs, right? You find out that they're going
- 39:54to be in linse or wherever go, their lineup, compete with them
- 40:01learn about who they are, learn about your enemy.
- 40:05So by the time you get to the Championships, you know what
- 40:07they're going to do. You know what, what happens when
- 40:10it's All you know, what happens when it's raining, you know what
- 40:12they're going to do, but you know what but you know what
- 40:15though that doesn't exist now, but one at one of the best meets
- 40:20on the circuit was a c-level. Meet Zagreb.
- 40:23Mmm. Yeah.
- 40:24Just because of just because of a glitch in the calendar Zagreb,
- 40:30fell in a spot where there was like an opening, right?
- 40:32Yeah, it's a c-level meat. Like, you win this week?
- 40:35You got 500 euros. Yeah, right.
- 40:39And there would be It'd be people who are going to win
- 40:42Global Metals in this meat. That's right.
- 40:46Yeah. On the regular, like, every year
- 40:49but Governor, you listen, the mentality of the athletes
- 40:54shifted at some point. Yes, I don't know if it's an age
- 40:57thing. It's probably has to do with the
- 40:58professionalism, or lack thereof the sport.
- 41:01But the the mentality is shifted and this is my issue.
- 41:07This particular child ain't built for this sport up here,
- 41:13just not but I want to get off. I want to get off of her because
- 41:18look the whole point of this segment Carnage in Eugene.
- 41:20Is that like look I don't know I'm shifting from no, no, no no.
- 41:24I know it was it she was one of Loosely somewhere, like, in my
- 41:30head I did on my like a, like a casual count.
- 41:34She was one of somewhere between 15 and 20.
- 41:39Like paid paid sponsored athletes.
- 41:46Yeah, didn't get out of the prelim know, and that's what I'm
- 41:52saying. So do so here.
- 41:53Okay, for a totally different reason.
- 41:56This is where I wanted to go and I want I was talking to the
- 41:58They're bad because I know this is his thing.
- 42:01In the, in the very recent time who are the two most popular
- 42:05athletes, we have, she carry, okay, and tar, Davis her Davis
- 42:11fouled out in the long, jump competition, which by the way,
- 42:15was terrible today. Yeah, it was and magically
- 42:19apparently. She's going to get to go to the
- 42:20meat because she's one of only three people that even has the
- 42:22standard, but which witch is, which is one of the biggest
- 42:26problems we have in this country.
- 42:27There's no reason for us to only have three females.
- 42:31With the standard because they don't have the issue that we
- 42:34have in the men's long jump, right?
- 42:35Like women we're not losing women's long jumpers to WNBA.
- 42:39No no no it's okay. You know the problem with the
- 42:48long jump on the men's side and probably with the women's side
- 42:52as well. It's still the bat right?
- 42:56Because yeah. Like yeah.
- 42:57Like you like you can't make a living in the long jump in.
- 43:01You can know, so you guys could go to meet.
- 43:03There was a ton of meat, you can go and cry.
- 43:05Yes, you might you might have smaller contracts and you can
- 43:09hit your bonuses. You can make a very good living.
- 43:11You can't do that anymore. So, nobody wants to do it
- 43:15anymore. And I got to believe, okay, look
- 43:17at the women's long jump for that.
- 43:18Like for Collegiate, may be fine.
- 43:20Yeah, right. Well, I love the fact that she
- 43:25did at all. Just for the record.
- 43:32Is that other? Exactly, my first question was,
- 43:34what it was like, why the hell is Anna Halls?
- 43:37Practice happening at USA calls out their lungs up and seeing
- 43:42the damn hurdle race you doing all kind of stuff.
- 43:44But the point that I was getting to again on the opposite side of
- 43:48things, right? Because everybody that pays
- 43:50attention to Tara or Torah. She's sweet.
- 43:53She's enduring. She's respectful.
- 43:56It's all everything about her is super positive, right?
- 43:59What is it about the career or is it about the social media
- 44:03presence? Is it about the likes?
- 44:05Is it about the YouTube bag? Because the jumping ain't it?
- 44:10And I don't feel bad saying that because you know what she
- 44:12approached now. Mmm so once you a pro you got to
- 44:16step out here and eat this the way everybody else got to eat
- 44:19it. The future of the women's long
- 44:22jump for Team USA and fouling out in the damn first like you
- 44:26can't do that. Yeah.
- 44:28So, So here's here's the question, here's a question,
- 44:34what was more? Shocking.
- 44:35Shikari Richardson, a Coal Hopper?
- 44:39Oaxaca can we get into the car? This is what I'm saying.
- 44:45That's why I said like I need. I want to make sure that all of
- 44:48our fans who watch this show. Understand this is not a shekere
- 44:51bashing session. This is about a huge Crossroad
- 44:57in our sport because I'm going to tell you this right now,
- 45:00Cole, hawk, or not, making it out of the first round in it, in
- 45:03a world championship trial meat. That's in Eugene is
- 45:07inexplicable. It's inexplicable and it's not
- 45:11like, I mean, look, 339 is not slow, I understand that, but
- 45:14it's not like it took me 35 to make them to make it out.
- 45:17We're talking about you now the first round folks.
- 45:19Yeah. Right, at the end of the day, if
- 45:22you're Savvy enough to race your way into the final and almost
- 45:26win a medal, At the Olympics at the Olympics when we're at US
- 45:32championships in Eugene. Bra, you need to sleep walk
- 45:37through this thing. Something is wrong.
- 45:39Yeah. I mean I don't I don't get that.
- 45:43That's a major head scratcher solution.
- 45:45That won't see, did you see that one blew my mind.
- 45:48Yeah. Lucious is in the building.
- 45:50Did you see the 1500? Well I didn't.
- 45:52I was a little busy woman somebody up at that time but
- 45:54what it's like somebody walked by and said call Hawk.
- 45:58You made that up. That could be right, right?
- 46:01There's no way that. That's like because it goes down
- 46:06the track. He's, he's in the cathedral, is
- 46:09on his home track. Yeah.
- 46:11And like, like, they don't do that here.
- 46:14There's no world as sad as we are, you know, like, obviously
- 46:20English is at the end of her career, right?
- 46:22She ran like a Levin issues, wasn't it wasn't pretty.
- 46:25Did it, right? But in no world would we have?
- 46:28I'm surprised that he was found in the world of clap because
- 46:30she's at home, right? And the Morrigan athletes always
- 46:34run. Well here, yeah.
- 46:35And you know what to that point? Because somebody made a comment
- 46:38to me about that off are not on this panel to the English Point
- 46:42English. Getting knocked out in the first
- 46:44round, is kind of shocking, right?
- 46:47It's and it's a, it's a, it's a nun ceremonial end to her
- 46:51career. If it is indeed the end, but
- 46:52daily speech, to what I said in the beginning, right?
- 46:56It's the one tality of the end. Our sport, right place.
- 46:59That's how our sport treats you, but she had a career.
- 47:03She has metal. She's an Olympic gold medalist.
- 47:05Yes. And I would bet money.
- 47:08I bet money somewhere along the line of English is start to
- 47:12finish career. Somewhere along the line.
- 47:15She got a letter, an email saying that she was going to
- 47:17lose money and some in somebody young and unperformed, got paid
- 47:22right. Like it's a kid right track and
- 47:26field seems to be the only Only okay, like and I know like,
- 47:30there's a reason why there's a rookie salary cap another sports
- 47:33right, hmm? Yes, it is.
- 47:35A reason you have to, you have to earn.
- 47:36You have to earn your keep and like we, as soon as somebody
- 47:40runs fast. Oh, let's go do the bag of money
- 47:44at them, but I keep that. I've said this to said, shoe
- 47:48companies, what now is their motivation to run fast again?
- 47:52Yes. Okay.
- 47:54The agent, will someone, someone overseas, erase?
- 47:57Why why? Because at this point, they know
- 48:00the money going overseas is not for them.
- 48:01It's for you because you were with your 20%, right?
- 48:06They don't have to go because they made too much money now.
- 48:08Yeah, right CPR. I got, I got it.
- 48:11I got to say this because I told you if we got into this topic, I
- 48:14would. So I'ma say this, I am not here
- 48:17for. It, may have happened already
- 48:19while we're shooting the show, but between now and 48 hours
- 48:23later everybody seen Higher Learning everybody seen Higher
- 48:27Learning right when on Epps the sighs.
- 48:29You know what? Yeah, I'm here on scholarship
- 48:31and everything, but I'm not your horse.
- 48:34I don't care about running anymore and I'm gonna do what
- 48:36I'm gonna do because I'm not your horse in my life is bigger
- 48:39than that. Give it 48 hours I guarantee
- 48:43you. The Tweet the the social media
- 48:45post the interview from his Richardson is going to be
- 48:47something to the effect of I'm bigger than this.
- 48:49This is this is, you know this I ain't it, stop it.
- 48:53This is your job. If you don't like the job, you
- 48:56don't want to do the job. Then go do something else.
- 48:58But as long so this is, this is the Hope.
- 49:02Okay, we're going to, we know if I'm in the camp we're going to
- 49:07own the bad performance and I'm going to get myself together and
- 49:12I've got 48 hours to get on the track and show where I'm working
- 49:16the 200. Oh, that's what, that's what
- 49:18needs to happen. No, no, I stopped when I when I
- 49:22do that when I Bashan, well, I'm just saying What?
- 49:25That's what you said. What you had to say?
- 49:29Yeah, but you weren't there and I'm with you.
- 49:31We will leave it there. All I'm saying to you is if I'm
- 49:34in the camp, that's what should be happening.
- 49:37I'm not saying that's what's going to, I don't disagree with
- 49:40you, but I'm starting with you. This is a math question.
- 49:45I'm not even. So God.
- 49:50What is the percentage? Likelihood that happened here.
- 49:54Okay. Stop, we're not going to do
- 49:56that. Stop, that's not the issue here.
- 49:59All I'm saying is this, is that if okay, yes, that's and would
- 50:04all like to see that happen. That's absolutely what needs to
- 50:08be cut because again because here's my thing, right?
- 50:11I happen to have had the pleasure of recruiting.
- 50:13She carry out of high school and it should carry Richardson that
- 50:17we see today is not. That's not who I recruited eyes.
- 50:19Hmm. Not even close.
- 50:22And I would like to see Keurig it back to the Cure.
- 50:25She was in high school to be back to the Curious.
- 50:28She wasn't in college, because she is a phenomenal Talent.
- 50:31Who is slowly deteriorating right before us?
- 50:36That's the sadness of this, right?
- 50:39And then, yes, it is. that's the sad part but like you know but
- 50:43again there was a lot of other Foolery out there today, there's
- 50:46a lot of the things you know that you know there was some and
- 50:50at the end of the day like Is hot as track and Field's been,
- 50:55you know, over the last year and a half, you know, coming off the
- 50:58NCAA championships when we saw craziness.
- 51:01Every time. So I step on track, we expected
- 51:04more of that craziness today, and it just wasn't here, so.
- 51:07So here's what I'm proposing. Is funny, right that, that, that
- 51:11same thing, that we all saw there was like, you know, about
- 51:14who is in his it sponsor here, right?
- 51:17It's basically, it monetarily it basically said that, if you are
- 51:22a female thrower, you should probably like get a job.
- 51:25Yeah, right let me that was basically what like that's I
- 51:28mean like I'm not this is not me saying this is what the industry
- 51:34is basically saying from a financial support standpoint and
- 51:39I'm saying that for a reason because I'm pulling this up
- 51:42because I want to talk about this, the people who will for
- 51:47sure, make the least amount of money.
- 51:48And in our sport are female throwers in particular, female,
- 51:53Javelin female Hammer throwers, So let me just, let me just lay
- 51:56this out here. So people understand how good
- 51:59because we talked about all the bad, right?
- 52:01How good today is? Women's Hammer was seventh,
- 52:07place with Gwendolyn Barry. 70 M, 94, that's crazy.
- 52:14Seventh crazy. Alyssa Wilson and today a
- 52:18runner-up. 71 73. Former American former American.
- 52:25I mean, actually former Collegiate record holder.
- 52:28Maggie Yuan, was fifth at 72 70. I can't I don't want to mess
- 52:39this up. Deanna prices, one Global
- 52:41Championship, the Olympics are worlds Was one of those two?
- 52:47Yes. Yes.
- 52:49Yeah, she was forth as 70 307. Did not make the team because
- 52:58I'm going to try this. Who hold on.
- 53:01Annette. At chicken whoa-kay, Annette on
- 53:07a unattached. I want everybody here this
- 53:11unattached an attack, hit the world championship standard at
- 53:14the meet At the meat, right? This is what we're trying to
- 53:18teach our athletes to do 73. 76. Keeps the global champion from
- 53:24going to the meat because Janae kissing avoid Janae 776 04 for a
- 53:37second. Oh my gosh, and Brooke Anderson
- 53:42Nike Ironwood, 77961 to pass. Cam Rogers for the world lead.
- 53:52Wow. But okay so Carnage in Eugene,
- 53:55right? If I started the day telling you
- 53:57the Deanna price ain't going to world you would have correct
- 54:00disrespectful. Correct?
- 54:02Right. So but I want absolutely with
- 54:05you think you've lost your mind. Our school see, Venus T1 goalie.
- 54:11So she enrolled in Team. Oh wait.
- 54:20Somebody else. He tried to talk over that one.
- 54:23No way. We might we do.
- 54:25We get for their Bill gets to go.
- 54:26You get four years so we get 4. Yeah.
- 54:29Okay. Well either way, you're not
- 54:31going to tell me that the Enterprise was for exactly.
- 54:35Exactly. Like she got for that.
- 54:37Uh yes. Right.
- 54:40And I just want people to understand like the people.
- 54:43I just named are not competing for the bag because there's no
- 54:47bag. For for women's hammer.
- 54:52Yep. Right like like like you know
- 54:53what? There is.
- 54:54There's there's a job in can I can, I can adding to the Carnage
- 54:58in Eugene. I got a question for our women's
- 55:01400 meter crew. How the hell y'all let Allyson
- 55:06Felix win at heat running? 5230 5230, does is the absolute
- 55:14okay. Say like so you include, I'm in
- 55:15a stadium for this one right here, but this did this just
- 55:18speaks to who Alison is and hue. Allison knows.
- 55:22She is right. So Alison gets out, but the
- 55:25first 120 in this pretty hot. And then, she just slows down,
- 55:30everybody's afraid to go buyer for that, and I was sitting
- 55:34there, you do, realize you're sitting you're not out.
- 55:51It technical minded race savvy. So damn all that its heat 7
- 55:57already. Know what everybody else ran
- 56:00you. How you going to be out there
- 56:01scared of Allison. Just go try to balance.
- 56:05It was only, she was in the first.
- 56:07She was in the first heats up. Stop.
- 56:09Is that seven here? Lane seven heat one.
- 56:15Okay, so Alison was 25 wanted. If I wanted to it.
- 56:4750 point, since the point at the point where, you know, that
- 56:57doesn't matter. You're talking about the goat,
- 57:01right? And and and we've seen this play
- 57:04out before, I mean I can I can tell you from personal
- 57:08experience. Do you?
- 57:10Do we remember what Carl used to do on the four by one.
- 57:14How will you would like kind of go?
- 57:16And it was like a real slow, like it was like you take his
- 57:19time as he's coming out of the zone and anyone else that had
- 57:24any inkling? Oh yeah I'm going to get him
- 57:26today. Now, you're gone.
- 57:28Full bore and he is literally just gauging the income and got
- 57:34I'm a victim, right? But these are things that you
- 57:38cannot fault. The young lady for that I'm
- 57:41fault. Never liked her for taking a
- 57:43peek outside and going I'm just a thousand Felix.
- 57:47The tag on the governor I'm dams along.
- 57:51This is this happened. This happened forever in the
- 57:54women's hurdles as well. Yes, we love Allison.
- 57:58Yes. We love Dawn.
- 58:00Yes, he loved these. People earn their stripes
- 58:03Legend. Yeah, if you're going to do all
- 58:06this work and go to USA's in line up next to him, you can't
- 58:10give them the the lane. Hey, just let him have it.
- 58:13Hey, we can we can preach all We want that young lady said, if
- 58:19you click the, if you click the people's names and if you could
- 58:211000 names on at all these accolades, come up, you ain't
- 58:24racing the Accolade, hey man. Yeah, she's chilling.
- 58:34So, the only future we have in the women's 400 is to lead the
- 58:37Dig. That's it.
- 58:38How we got, I mean, that, that's not true.
- 58:43By the way, she's not the only one by any means.
- 58:46But I thought in this one to leave, the digs would definitely
- 58:49have not let Allyson Felix. When they heat 52 seconds to
- 58:54leave them with a ram by our pattern on the but like AAA I'll
- 58:56meet you at the Finish Line. I need you real.
- 58:58Are you getting? I was to leave his post race
- 59:02interview. I'm telling you that young lady.
- 59:06Has it. She?
- 59:08Oh, yeah. It like, there's no doubt in my
- 59:11mind. Oh my gosh.
- 59:14That's she's exciting. She's really excited.
- 59:16And you know what's funny? She sounds like someone who's
- 59:21come from a family of Olympians my star surprising right?
- 59:26Yeah, right. Pedigree matters.
- 59:28No chance. No, wait a minute.
- 59:31She is definitely wise Beyond her years.
- 59:32She loved her and one of the best poses NCAA.
- 59:39Oh yes! Leave it like this.
- 59:42Love, you get that on a poster, put it up somewhere, but the
- 59:46Cheney she needs to buy. She needs to buy hashtag to
- 59:51lethal to leave. Wait a minute.
- 59:53What's our Carnage in Carnage in Eugene, right?
- 59:57Okay, here we go. Wait a minute.
- 1:00:00These are talented people. I know because I'm fans of
- 1:00:02Summer. Chloe Abbott, ran 50 51 today.
- 1:00:06Yes, she did Qin era Hayes. Yes, and 54:13, and is, yes!
- 1:00:14Yes it defending Champion, he was secretly while defending
- 1:00:18Champion, man, 54 sending around 1:00 p.m. so Mica wimbley is
- 1:00:27yes, yes, just yeah, lover, 52. 7 out.
- 1:00:34Yes, Courtney, a Colo Courtney. Oh, Carlo, it's 37.
- 1:00:41Like, it's, it's a graveyard. I mean, it's literally like, if
- 1:00:46that's what I'm saying is, it's like best.
- 1:00:49There's a lot of contractual obligations that you just
- 1:00:52mentioned. They're just they're done.
- 1:00:57Go ahead, should I was going to say way we alluded to this pre
- 1:01:01Olympics last year, and just how it was going to be able to, or
- 1:01:06how the athletes were able to manage, Olympics, worlds, and
- 1:01:10the next into Right. So now we see some of these
- 1:01:14repercussions of contractual obligations, you know, desire
- 1:01:19obligations to make the money to run the races to get, try to get
- 1:01:22there and then some just being naive and saying I'm good
- 1:01:26enough. I'm young enough to run and
- 1:01:29realize like hey this does take a toll.
- 1:01:33To go back to what you were just saying about that heat one.
- 1:01:36That he one would have made it out of Big 12.
- 1:01:39Prelims? No, no, it was very, it was
- 1:01:45crazy but I mean, I know I know I know you're not and that's the
- 1:01:50crazy part and like, how much does this go back to management?
- 1:01:57Well, I was coached by the managed by the agents and then
- 1:02:01by the athletes like self-recognition, I mean, listen
- 1:02:04the men I'm sorry, these are people, I expect to be running
- 1:02:08past heat one below, you know, round, 1 round 1, Nathan
- 1:02:13stroller 4680 to. Yeah, however Stewart 4670 for
- 1:02:19is out. So if you haven't seen that one,
- 1:02:21that one hurt to watch, I'm going to say this, this it is
- 1:02:2540. Neither one of them look like
- 1:02:35they were ever engaged in the fight like Trevor Stewart.
- 1:02:40Like I felt awful because we've all seen him run and I think
- 1:02:44Soldier is the appropriate word and he just didn't look like
- 1:02:49that at all. Listen.
- 1:02:52Here's the bad thing about Trevor to race, maybe, maybe
- 1:02:55he's hurt, man. His first, you want it was 20
- 1:02:5725. Yeah.
- 1:02:59And that's just so, so untrue. Look like it.
- 1:03:01So I drew looks like it. Yeah, it is way better.
- 1:03:04Get running for survival. Probably like 45 meters in.
- 1:03:08Okay, so I have a question. I have a question about that.
- 1:03:11It's a legitimate question, but I don't even know what where I
- 1:03:13stand on the given. The nature of the professional
- 1:03:18/, unprofessional sport that we have Right.
- 1:03:22Travis do it assigned to poop, if he's hurt.
- 1:03:25Is it wise for him to step out there and put up that
- 1:03:28performance next to his name? Or should he have taken the
- 1:03:31Michael Cherry route and just not ran it all?
- 1:03:33He, we had this conversation. You see what mine will has a
- 1:03:36wild card. So Michael
- 1:04:21And coming in the women's 400. It is.
- 1:04:23Here it is here. I think it says is it's here.
- 1:04:27And and the question is, are we going to be depending on the
- 1:04:33kids that are just coming out of college?
- 1:04:37The ones that are a year out of college because it looks to me.
- 1:04:40Like, I mean, it is a blanket group of young woman that are
- 1:04:46going to be called upon to be the best to be the
- 1:04:49representatives for the United States.
- 1:04:51And that it that does not bode well right?
- 1:04:55But for the foreseeable future, it's going to be over here.
- 1:05:00I'm just gonna say this right now.
- 1:05:03If you look at the group of people Advanced to the
- 1:05:06semifinals of the men's, 400 your first.
- 1:05:09Your first thought is for the first time in a really long
- 1:05:13time. The US team in the 4x4, like, my
- 1:05:18life, just line up and just Crush everybody.
- 1:05:22Now, we probably wouldn't, I'm not stupid, right?
- 1:05:25Will probably win. But, but if you look at it and
- 1:05:28you just like, who in that group has experienced, Well, Michael
- 1:05:33Norma. This is why we shouldn't go 1,
- 1:05:362, 3 4 and let him run. I mean, Michael Norman has
- 1:05:40experienced but they're not a good experiences, right?
- 1:05:43Yeah. Randall.
- 1:05:44Vern isn't it wasn't? It wasn't your question?
- 1:05:46No, no, no. I'm saying like the overall
- 1:05:52experience for sure, right. Okay, I think my, he's the most
- 1:05:56experienced guy that mean that's scary and of itself.
- 1:05:59Right. Vernon Norwood is probably next,
- 1:06:03Yeah, yeah, right. And the crazy part is the next
- 1:06:07most experienced guy is Randolph Crossing and no crusts.
- 1:06:10He's won race experience in the, in the post into, you know,
- 1:06:13protract yeah. Last last year, the world, you
- 1:06:17know, the the prelim of the games, no matter how the men's
- 1:06:22400 plays out, I'm going to be standing on my soapbox time
- 1:06:25talking about giving me the hurdler.
- 1:06:27Oh listen long. And the short hurdler.
- 1:06:32At least, if it leaves fry. Benjamin isn't in the 4x4.
- 1:06:36I'll probably I'll eat this glass.
- 1:06:38Damn, forget ride. We know we're going to get,
- 1:06:41right? I want both of them.
- 1:06:46Both of them or both. Work.
- 1:07:03I'm not suggesting this but I mean, let's be clear area a
- 1:07:06night and was on a 258 4x4. Hmm, yes.
- 1:07:10And you know, I'm just 2:57. Oh, sure.
- 1:07:15You are. You are correct, sir.
- 1:07:17You're right. I'm Duncan twice in one night.
- 1:07:20He exactly. Are you with me on this?
- 1:07:38All right, let me tell you something.
- 1:07:45I am not running past this do because he's going to embarrass
- 1:07:49me to the point where my children won't talk to me.
- 1:07:53So yeah, I would have look Gary online could have split Fifty
- 1:07:56Point and I would have split 50.1 right behind them life.
- 1:08:03And this is no. We understand Allyson, Felix
- 1:08:06experience the lucky lady. You said that, I just I just
- 1:08:10look something up. Thankfully, in the semi-finals
- 1:08:13of the women's 400 Kennedy Simon gets a chance at Redemption
- 1:08:17cause she's in like five. Alison is in Lane six and I
- 1:08:20ain't got to worry because to LEAP is in Lane seven.
- 1:08:23Boom. That to leave some change and
- 1:08:28leave the Damn Race. Yeah, that's not gonna happen.
- 1:08:30I want Alison to make the team. I'm rooting for Alison to make
- 1:08:34team but she makes the team going out and 25.
- 1:08:36All y'all need your asses whooped to catch a sandal.
- 1:08:44Oh, man. Like there's just some events
- 1:08:47where it's just like I mean, what are we doing?
- 1:08:52Like, this is professional track and field, folks, I need, I need
- 1:08:58I need more than three female long jumpers to have the
- 1:09:01standard, damn it. I mean, I need you all to
- 1:09:06channel your inner female Hammer throwers and just go to the,
- 1:09:11well, give me all that you say. And I'm gonna tell you this to
- 1:09:15us, and so we have to put some of this owners on coaching.
- 1:09:19Right. Yes, we have to because clearly
- 1:09:22the girls Coast has gotten together like we don't, we don't
- 1:09:24forget it needs named Hammer right back.
- 1:09:26We used to have a bunch of men's Lounge, a bunch of women's like
- 1:09:31a and now we don't. So, when we have to identify the
- 1:09:33problem and you can't just put all the onus on the athlete.
- 1:09:36No, you know, we had this conversation years ago where I
- 1:09:41said something about coaching guys are rented flat and so the
- 1:09:46EP was like, well, then I guess you need to Coachman runs a lot.
- 1:09:49Figure it out. So if we don't have people that
- 1:09:52are at the standard or better than the standard, then as
- 1:09:55coaches as a coaching body, we got to figure out what the
- 1:09:57problem is because the talent is clearly there.
- 1:10:00We have too many fasts printer to not have better long jumpers
- 1:10:05on both sides. Speaking of speaking of can has
- 1:10:11anyone seen he to of the men's hundred tomorrow?
- 1:10:16Yes, I'm here for all of that. And so lucious, and I would love
- 1:10:20to hear what you have to say with the distribution of he won
- 1:10:25and he too, but yeah. So so, so let me read this mr.
- 1:10:35Garcia, and bromelain for Bracy and five Coleman and six
- 1:10:40bednarik and seven, Michael Williams and eight.
- 1:10:44Yeah. And and the sneakiest guy on the
- 1:10:46planet and Lane nine. Christian only nine.
- 1:10:48Yes. Yeah, I have a question about
- 1:10:52the men's hundred again, Lucia in the building.
- 1:10:56So I'll toss it to you in the rest of y'all tell me something.
- 1:11:01Is Fred, Curly, crazy or is he going to break the world record?
- 1:11:06Because he Anunnaki sex is for no damn reason.
- 1:11:10No, no, he wasn't running, that's what I'm asking.
- 1:11:14Thank you. Like I'm asking.
- 1:11:18I mean clearly he was running because here and I wasn't like
- 1:11:20he was digging and he shut down at the end, okay?
- 1:11:24So like I looked this up earlier, so let me look this up
- 1:11:27again. Okay, so at 30 meters, he's 387
- 1:11:32right from 30 to 60. He's 2.61.
- 1:11:39Exactly, please 647 at 66 you 647 is sick, right?
- 1:11:45Yes, so from 60 to 100, he's 3.36.
- 1:11:50The last 40 insane and it was, it was textbook.
- 1:11:56It was textbook. Who like, if you look at, if you
- 1:12:00look at the splits, the next fastest guy to 30 in the whole
- 1:12:05field was Brandon Carl's was 393 Michael Williams was 392, Like,
- 1:12:12he's almost a, he's like a half a tenth of head.
- 1:12:16Yeah, 30, right. Where the hell did that happen?
- 1:12:19I let the 400-meter, dude, you this?
- 1:12:22No, no. So, I will not let you discern.
- 1:12:26Expect that doing Fred is a sprinter?
- 1:12:29No, no it's okay.
- 1:12:44You guys are all smart enough to to see harbingers Fred's first.
- 1:12:50Three races of the Season told y'all that this was coming.
- 1:12:53Mmm. Yeah.
- 1:12:56Right. Like like it's like, okay if you
- 1:12:58look at you if you look at 983 in the first round and not run
- 1:13:01it all the way to the line, like go back to his first three races
- 1:13:04of the Season. You're like, yeah, that makes
- 1:13:05sense. You know saying like Fred's
- 1:13:09going to run 97. And everyone was would have said
- 1:13:13that based on his first three races of the season.
- 1:13:17Man, the man the man ran in 1988 in April.
- 1:13:20Yeah, I'm just saying right now. Fred looks like our only
- 1:13:23legitimate chat shot at the Italian.
- 1:13:30You're assuming the Italians going to show up to the final.
- 1:13:33I am just assuming the Italian is a human's lat.
- 1:13:37You're assuming a lot. And I will say this, you know,
- 1:13:39it was the first round Coleman and Vermeil the yeah, they're
- 1:13:44chilling and what they were chilling.
- 1:13:52I'm more looking at the model the way here.
- 1:13:56I will after tomorrow we'll have a better sense of it, Heats do
- 1:14:03more Carnage. But her first 30 meter was 4.36.
- 1:14:27Yeah, yeah, it's just, I don't mix.
- 1:14:30That's not even, trying knows Apple, excuse my ignorance.
- 1:14:37There's a name that I didn't recognize in there.
- 1:14:39I can't remember it started with the see, there's a few names in
- 1:14:42there, you ain't over. But no, I'm in the women's 200
- 1:14:46in the men's one. I'm shallow Creek, crave on, is
- 1:14:50not Gillespie. There's a, there's no.
- 1:14:57Charleston, is he okay? The new oh okay.
- 1:15:06Now in North Carolina and Robert Johnson getting that go
- 1:15:23Robert look if you delve into Roberts career Robert has a lot
- 1:15:28of national championships. They got my rings hang around in
- 1:15:32this for teens house. Exactly.
- 1:15:34Right. And you know there's always
- 1:15:37there's been a lot of rumors about this for last probably a
- 1:15:39year and a half or so and for the big announcement that came
- 1:15:43out today that it actually happened is like it's just
- 1:15:46staying shocking. Absolutely shocking.
- 1:15:50I'll say contract not renewed. Yeah right so I just want to say
- 1:15:56this really quick just dissolute like in our sport.
- 1:16:00We got a guy with 14 Rings because it's contract not
- 1:16:03renewed and we have and we have a lady See who won two trophies.
- 1:16:06This year, who did have her contract renewed, you know, all
- 1:16:11true. I'm just saying, like, like like
- 1:16:13our our sport is wild. Like all of a sudden
- 1:16:16unforgiving. Yeah.
- 1:16:18All of a sudden we're hiring and firing football like football
- 1:16:21track coaches, right? Because that's the like, if you
- 1:16:24look at that like that sounds like football coaches, they get
- 1:16:28fired for these things. Well, because when you think
- 1:16:30about the big picture here, right?
- 1:16:32Okay. In no world, does anybody see?
- 1:16:35Tennessee, being third, indoors and Outdoors.
- 1:16:39And there's a change in anybody on the staff years.
- 1:16:42No, one on that staff will be on that campus next year, that is
- 1:16:47annoying. That's crazy.
- 1:16:49So to third indoors and out, if you're gonna fire us like
- 1:16:55football coaches, at least pay us like that in advance because
- 1:16:58then no one would care if they get fired button.
- 1:17:02Yeah. No matter what, your opinion of
- 1:17:14Robert Johnson, the person or the career is here is a fact
- 1:17:20until he sat in that chair and change.
- 1:17:23The model organ, didn't win nothing.
- 1:17:27On the women's side. That is 100% correct.
- 1:17:30Hmm. So whoever whatever the
- 1:17:33succession plan is wherever the decision-makers at Oregon are If
- 1:17:39you go it, right? It's only.
- 1:17:41We all know, it's only going to go one of two ways.
- 1:17:43Either the powers that be are going to decide.
- 1:17:45We want to go back to distance Purity Mecca, or we are going to
- 1:17:50learn from the model that's been run and just get somebody else
- 1:17:54to run it, right? I don't understand why you would
- 1:17:57want to go back to distance, only Mecha, it wasn't that is
- 1:18:02only there's only one answer to that question, okay?
- 1:18:07The bottom line is, this the lineage the Heritage, the
- 1:18:12legend, the, the feel good. Aspect of Oregon is steeped in
- 1:18:20distance. Yeah, hey wait.
- 1:18:31Steve Prefontaine or or ask Anita.
- 1:18:34Well, clearly it's pretty fun thing.
- 1:18:36So you understand. Now do you go?
- 1:18:39I mean, but that's not listen. Listen, there's your answer,
- 1:18:45right? You got a guy who weighs its
- 1:18:48weight? Its fifth, he wasn't.
- 1:18:49Okay, he was 15. He likes, I must say this is a
- 1:18:53guy was two Olympic Championship.
- 1:18:55There are three things that people need to let go.
- 1:18:58All right, Elvis. Tupac and Prefontaine their God.
- 1:19:07That's the hotel and escort you out of the
- 1:19:28way. You were warned.
- 1:19:32Why do you stop it? You can't say things like that
- 1:19:39while sitting in Eugene. So so here's the, here's the
- 1:19:45truth, and they won't let him go.
- 1:19:47And that's obvious, I'm just saying.
- 1:19:50Here's what's interesting about what we're talking about right
- 1:19:54now, we're literally talking about to universities, That the
- 1:20:00Glory Days of those universities.
- 1:20:03Had a very specific twine. Look at a very specific look.
- 1:20:12They had a very, very specific look and to say that those folks
- 1:20:19that are still pining for the old days of Tennessee, old days
- 1:20:25of Oregon, if you are thinking that those Folks have gone away.
- 1:20:31You're sadly mistaken and if you don't think, and here's what,
- 1:20:35here's let's talk about Petit. Okay, this this is Clyde.
- 1:20:39Okay, do you think for one second that Washington going
- 1:20:45into Nationals and winning the 1500?
- 1:20:49Oh my gosh. What is the climate thing ever
- 1:20:55happened? You go into the cathedral To
- 1:20:59this is distance coaches at Oregon.
- 1:21:02Go to Washington with the live looking at Drew at the Oregon
- 1:21:07alumni. So since we're stirring the pot,
- 1:21:29Noun 1. Okay, so there's a little bit of
- 1:21:32a thought here. That part of the issue with the
- 1:21:36Tennessee situation is it that the new people in charge didn't
- 1:21:40like the fact that there was a woman in charge of facts.
- 1:21:44Well, and if that's the truth that's yeah that's very sad
- 1:21:49because she did a good job. Remember you had your third in
- 1:21:53the could? Yeah.
- 1:21:54Your third in the country indoor and outdoor and indoor and out.
- 1:21:59Out. So I'm almost going to repeat
- 1:22:03what I said. A second ago with Beth, Alfred
- 1:22:06Sullivan arrived at Tennessee. She made some extremely
- 1:22:10controversial, but I would call it's respectful decisions and
- 1:22:15it's corned and burned. A lot of bridges, right for her
- 1:22:19to have that start and get to the point where we're getting
- 1:22:23trophies. Yeah.
- 1:22:24You do a good job. Yeah.
- 1:22:26Yeah. So it's mainly like that.
- 1:22:28She's out It's like like I'm not sure it's like I'm never trying
- 1:22:32to cut anybody anybody's money, right?
- 1:22:33But I must say it like this the best program in the country this
- 1:22:36year men and women was Florida. Duh we got that right.
- 1:22:40Probably going to be some sort of financial windfall, the next
- 1:22:43best program in the country this year men and women was Texas,
- 1:22:46right? Probably going to be some sort
- 1:22:47of financial windfall. The third best team in the
- 1:22:49country men and women was Tennessee.
- 1:22:51And she got fired so fired. Yeah, they weren't the best say.
- 1:22:56They weren't the third best team.
- 1:22:57Anyway, just third best team on the men.
- 1:22:59Men, When men, the women, well, not so much so it Governor Wayne
- 1:23:05actually, but they're still, they were still third on both
- 1:23:07sides both sides of the men's side.
- 1:23:10Now that that on the Miss, I get involved me choose.
- 1:23:12We should sit on both side yet and I understand what you're
- 1:23:14saying. I have a question for the EP
- 1:23:18since he spent the most time of any of us in the Pac-12, / 10
- 1:23:24Conference, it we all understand that, you know, if you're angry
- 1:23:27at Texas your son. But you're going to, you're
- 1:23:30going to get to see this, right? Is there some kind of Oregon
- 1:23:33equivalent to the horns down? Because the Washington do should
- 1:23:36have did that? Hey, they said it did that, you
- 1:23:39know, put the old somewhere or something.
- 1:23:43That is like this that is like like if it was me I would cross
- 1:23:48the line just like this. Just like, oh my gosh.
- 1:23:54I'm trying to imagine cried at the helm of that.
- 1:23:59Loot like that that moment. Oh sir the listen.
- 1:24:02I don't even coach this as well, as please believe if I was the
- 1:24:05boss at Washington and I'm in Oregon's building and we put
- 1:24:08three in the final and they don't miss.
- 1:24:10I'm on television, will see you. And I think about like this.
- 1:24:15Okay, so go back to wink. Cheryl went to USC, right?
- 1:24:20All of a sudden they were crossing the line throwing up.
- 1:24:24Mmm, absolutely right. Every time they want to race
- 1:24:29started up and if it didn't you, go back to the Pac-12.
- 1:24:32Me and Oregon beat him in the 4, by 1.
- 1:24:36Yeah, we're gonna cross the line.
- 1:24:37Like, yeah, if you win, I'm all for the Petty win, one of the
- 1:24:47pettiest things ever. You can go find the video.
- 1:24:49Right. Benjamin transfers from UCLA to
- 1:24:52USC which is like the most controversial thing ever in the
- 1:24:55West Coast. Right.
- 1:24:56Yeah, they have the Dual meet at UCLA, and when the meets over
- 1:25:02Carol, made sure that the team was in front of the Drake
- 1:25:07scoreboard. And live Benjamin is 10 feet in
- 1:25:09front of the whole team like this in the photo.
- 1:25:14It was the pettiest thing ever. And I'm here for it, if you win,
- 1:25:18you get to be Petty, you can clear.
- 1:25:20Funny costumes, you get to do all of that.
- 1:25:22I'm here for the Petty win, like we need more.
- 1:25:26Be with, in all of it. I just I would love to see
- 1:25:31talitha run by Alison and hit her in the back of the head of
- 1:25:34something that she goes out. My God.
- 1:25:36No, you would not. Yes, I do not want no, because
- 1:25:41you would not want to see the reaction from myself and her
- 1:25:43parents after she died. Faces something.
- 1:26:02I just I want to I just want to finish this this this subject
- 1:26:06like this right? Like You don't have to like love
- 1:26:14or dislike Robert Johnson to understand that.
- 1:26:19There's a whole lot of privilege involved in the decision to, not
- 1:26:24renew that man's contract. Because at the end of the day,
- 1:26:29right? They always tell you, when
- 1:26:31you're a college coach, you need to be a team player.
- 1:26:34You gotta you know you gotta you gotta represent the brand, you
- 1:26:39got to do all these things, right?
- 1:26:41When you win more trophy, more trophies than more rings than
- 1:26:45you have fingers. You don't you're not in a
- 1:26:51contract, not renewed situation, like I'm sorry.
- 1:26:56You know what I'll say it is. I agree with you on that.
- 1:27:01And this is, this is my issue. I only saw one of the press
- 1:27:06releases today. I only saw the one maybe there
- 1:27:08are others, I don't know. But to that point you got to
- 1:27:12give a better explanation than the one they got.
- 1:27:15Yeah that's what I'm saying. If there's if there's a there's
- 1:27:19an explanation then it goes and then step on out with the chest
- 1:27:22and explained it. There isn't a real explanation.
- 1:27:25And if there is real a real explanation say it with your
- 1:27:28chest, and they don't have the stones to say, with the chest
- 1:27:32and the reality is, Listen. Going one.
- 1:27:35Now in the world we live in there is GoGo nobody sticking to
- 1:27:40chest out. Nobody look, it's going to be
- 1:27:43one of those we make nice. We've decided to part ways and
- 1:27:48honestly, if it's something just beyond that, they couldn't work
- 1:27:53together anymore. Then we should leave it that
- 1:27:55way. And that way we can celebrate a
- 1:27:57guy that a great career, you know, and it just adds.
- 1:28:00That's yeah. Usually.
- 1:28:02Usually When you come to the end of your contract and you are not
- 1:28:11renewed, that is usually a sign that we're just going to let
- 1:28:18sleeping dogs lie. Yeah.
- 1:28:20I'm just going they call the irreconcilable differences.
- 1:28:23Oh yeah we'll just call it. What it is right?
- 1:28:27Last year you probably got an issue.
- 1:28:29Absolutely, absolutely. I'm just just going to say this
- 1:28:33folks Former return of former ad Jeremy Foley like, you know, you
- 1:28:38ever want to be a guy that's working the last year, your
- 1:28:40contract. That's not a good thing and and
- 1:28:45look, we all we all get that and that's all true, right?
- 1:28:48Okay. But I'm going to, I'm going to
- 1:28:50stick up for the coaching profession here and I'm going to
- 1:28:52say this, if you win more trophies than you have fingers,
- 1:28:59you get to be part of the decision maker as to how you go
- 1:29:03out. Allah Ohio State?
- 1:29:07No, absolutely, you should absolutely you should be see, I
- 1:29:12don't I, Okay, let's listen, I hear you and there's part of me
- 1:29:17that would like to say I would agree with you that, you know,
- 1:29:20but not in this room out in the real world because you're not,
- 1:29:24you're not, you're not, you're not the boss, you know, if the
- 1:29:27boss and see him at the time, I think is this, okay?
- 1:29:29So let me put this to you this way, right?
- 1:29:33If Everything is good between both parties and you're that
- 1:29:38successful, you absolutely should walk out on your own
- 1:29:40terms. But if you are the boss and
- 1:29:45you're unhappy with your employee, I don't care.
- 1:29:48If you want 100 national championships, they have the
- 1:29:51right to do what they want to do.
- 1:29:53Listen, I don't your own times. I'm not questioning organs right
- 1:29:56to do what they want to do. I just know this and nobody
- 1:29:59won't. Look, I'm going to say this
- 1:30:00because nobody else has the balls to say this.
- 1:30:04Robert Johnson has done more for the Eugene Oregon and the
- 1:30:09University of Oregon then University of Oregon has done
- 1:30:11for Robert Watson. Okay.
- 1:30:15Okay. And, and at the end of the day,
- 1:30:19like I mean, his resume is such that this point, like he's on,
- 1:30:24he's like, he's if he's really hard to hire, you know, I mean,
- 1:30:30like there's a lot of schools in like we can't afford this guy.
- 1:30:32And and what's what's brutal about it is the Oregon brass are
- 1:30:38probably saying it. Doesn't matter who we put an
- 1:30:41edge here, we have Seadrill, we have everything, we have
- 1:30:44everything to lose. So whoever we bring in that's
- 1:30:49going to be the expectation. Let's go.
- 1:30:53You know. Yeah but it's very interesting
- 1:30:55to see how that whole thing shakes.
- 1:30:57Oh it's one. It's one thing to say that that
- 1:31:00they what you just said, right? If I give you all these things
- 1:31:03you should win. That's what?
- 1:31:04Look there's some truth to that, but that's not what they're
- 1:31:07saying, what they're saying is, you should win the way we wanted
- 1:31:11to look well because he has one. Yes, if we hold on a second,
- 1:31:15see, we've been on. You're being unfair because you
- 1:31:18don't give me my knows what's going on.
- 1:31:19You are because you don't know what's going on, you know, but
- 1:31:22nobody is coming. Of publicly and said, we don't
- 1:31:25like the way it was winning. No.
- 1:31:27But we don't know what happened to you, you know, something just
- 1:31:31run their course. So let's be fair and not put
- 1:31:35words in people's mouths. I mean, we don't know what
- 1:31:37happened. Yeah, because they were, they
- 1:31:39seem to be very happy with him two years ago when they were one
- 1:31:41of that way. Yes, that's why I said explain.
- 1:31:48Write an explanation. We're going to move on.
- 1:32:02I'm just, like, just don't even say anything cause you're
- 1:32:05insulting my intelligence and I'm not here for it.
- 1:32:07Tell me the story or shut up. I want to hear the story, you
- 1:32:11know. That's me.
- 1:32:18Well, we have moving on, we have quite a few questions in the
- 1:32:25audience that have been posted to our comment section on
- 1:32:27YouTube. I'm going to choose 1 K.
- 1:32:31Do you want me to stick with one?
- 1:32:35Because the other ones are very intricate and you're going to
- 1:32:38want some some time to think about it.
- 1:32:41So this one's a good one though because it ties into what we've
- 1:32:44been talking about last hour or so.
- 1:32:47Depending on age level of competition, in their events,
- 1:32:51injury record. And any other factors you can
- 1:32:53think of which athletes male and female are the most likely to
- 1:32:57win five consecutive Gold's from 21 to 25. 20:21 to 2025 that
- 1:33:05wasn't making, okay? So first of all look I love the
- 1:33:08question but whoever asked that question has to understand how
- 1:33:11jaded the question is that means we're only picking from the pool
- 1:33:14that 1 in 21. So like listen that I think
- 1:33:18Grant has a chance to win the next four but he didn't win the
- 1:33:21first one but it's so like that. Like that, that that's the flaw,
- 1:33:26that's the flaw in the question because some basically
- 1:33:29basically. Okay.
- 1:33:32So then Basically, we're saying CID as a chance, right?
- 1:33:36Yes, War home has a chance. Shall I do?
- 1:33:41I'm not sure that Elaine's body will hold up that long.
- 1:33:46I'm going to give you the one that's going to win them all.
- 1:33:50Mondo Duplantis. Hmm.
- 1:33:54I mean that's that's that's I think Mondo Duplantis has.
- 1:34:16Yes. Who is most likely to sweep
- 1:34:19through? He's going to win out next.
- 1:34:20The next 23, 24, 25. Listen.
- 1:34:27I don't have a problem with the Mondo argument.
- 1:34:29That's a great answer. It might be the best answer, but
- 1:34:32my answer is very, very simple if she gives a damn to.
- 1:34:35It's Sydney because exactly Peter I think she's the, I
- 1:34:39think, I think those are the okay, okay.
- 1:34:41So s CE Petit is day ever, like you say that like, delillo
- 1:34:47doesn't exist? Oh, I know, I'm a say I'm
- 1:34:50saying, like I said it the first time the little Bo was the goat.
- 1:34:55All the horse again I hear you. Like do you say it has
- 1:35:01absolutely no chance. This like you said is if if
- 1:35:04she's racing me instead of Deliver, come on.
- 1:35:23Not be beaten by the Lilah by Famke or anybody else coming up
- 1:35:28the pipe. It's not happening the way in.
- 1:35:31That's right. Racer is totally different and
- 1:35:34Untouchable compared to how the others are running the race.
- 1:35:37The statistics say, unfortunately, the statistics
- 1:35:42say the Clyde is right because like nobody had run under 52
- 1:35:46seconds. Like what 24 months ago, 21
- 1:35:49months ago and she's run under twenty five to fifty two seconds
- 1:35:52three times since Sometimes, you know, I mean we all predicted
- 1:35:59that last year so yes, we all know that like so I'm not this
- 1:36:02I'm not being disrespectful to deliver she had her time.
- 1:36:05She wore the crown. How many people can legitimately
- 1:36:09say they wore the crown in an event in our sport.
- 1:36:11She wore it. She owned it.
- 1:36:13It's dead now, it's it's crap. Next question, Big League.
- 1:36:21The biggest reason that I said that I said Mondo is just like
- 1:36:27all of all of The Pretenders to Mando's thrown a are 30 cm
- 1:36:32behind him and B are older than him right there holder.
- 1:36:37They're all over but those two Nana.
- 1:36:53Warm can't do it. No chance?
- 1:36:57No, because this Unlike the dalila insid issue.
- 1:37:04The more talented one is actually the number two in, that
- 1:37:08example, Rai is still more talented.
- 1:37:10Rise still faster. Ryan, younger it out and take it
- 1:37:14from him. Right?
- 1:37:15Still younger than him to are there about the same age, like,
- 1:37:18one year difference. Okay.
- 1:37:20Younger is still younger, right? Okay, Luanne.
- 1:37:23Here's what Yeah, I don't know their ages.
- 1:37:26I've been today. And remember this.
- 1:37:28Right is right, 24. Maybe I feel like a mountain
- 1:37:32grants in the grant seemed to be in the same area code.
- 1:37:36I feel like they're 24 and 25 or 24 and 26, something like that.
- 1:37:43You know, who? It won't be hard 24 rise, 24
- 1:37:50know you know who it won't. Be it won't.
- 1:37:52It won't be Marcel Jacobs. You got a better shot than some
- 1:37:58of them. I mean I mean first of all this
- 1:38:03time some would say right now, Fred Curly is a real live
- 1:38:08problem. Just telling you a real live
- 1:38:12zebra, she has a problem with friends yet.
- 1:38:15Obviously, I talked to Fred a lot he's at in had to deal with
- 1:38:19that. Do friends, Not Afraid.
- 1:38:21Yeah, anyone friendly exactly. And so the problem you have with
- 1:38:26Fred is the worst thing for them.
- 1:38:29Last you was Jacob's beating for it because Fred has been
- 1:38:32training and racing pissed off every since then, right?
- 1:38:36Like the dude literally does not care.
- 1:38:40So yeah. Now it's and that's that's why
- 1:38:44that's why I'm really intrigued to see that.
- 1:38:46Ultimately because I think Jacobs is built the exact same
- 1:38:49way men and he don't care. And it's his crown right now.
- 1:38:54So I'm here for that race. Like I can't wait for that ways.
- 1:38:59It's going to be a doozy. Can we cheat and say the the US
- 1:39:04men's four by four? No, I think I think they're
- 1:39:10going to win all five. You know what?
- 1:39:13I think the u.s. women's 4 y4 field went on 52, right?
- 1:39:18Oh no way, no, no way. I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
- 1:39:21How dare we? We met, we actually missed one.
- 1:39:24A thing moment, mmm-hmm. Who's going to be?
- 1:39:31That's true. So here's what I'll say, listen,
- 1:39:35I definitely think that's a, that is a great call.
- 1:39:39That is a great call. Two laps man.
- 1:39:44Another the luck, it's weird. Yeah, but I agree, I agree, like
- 1:39:51I cheat, like, listen, I think the room that of people were
- 1:39:55talking about has like three maybe four folks in it.
- 1:39:59Yeah. See, the problem that the world
- 1:40:03has with the thing is like in mid distance of business races,
- 1:40:07like you could usually tactically do things to set
- 1:40:12yourself up, right? You know, I mean but she's the
- 1:40:15strongest and the fastest so what the hell I'm gonna do?
- 1:40:20And new any way you want to run it, right?
- 1:40:23Right. You don't want to play that game
- 1:40:24with her no matter what you do so yeah, yeah.
- 1:40:28That's a good point. You just you don't really want.
- 1:40:30You just don't want to really raise her.
- 1:40:32That's probably not the greatest thing they can let.
- 1:40:35They could let Castor back in there.
- 1:40:36Maybe it'll be a race. To that would be.
- 1:40:41That would be interesting but we got next.
- 1:40:44You anyway, what are your thoughts on Coach Glenn?
- 1:40:52Those opinion on a lot of things including that.
- 1:40:57Including World Championships face every two years should
- 1:41:00become an annual event and must only include the most elite
- 1:41:04performers in every discipline. As I saw that opinion in writing
- 1:41:12and I almost didn't fully understand it.
- 1:41:15I don't think coach Mills was as clear as he could have.
- 1:41:18Been, if he is suggesting, it's clear World Championships should
- 1:41:22be every year. I agree.
- 1:41:24Except the Olympic here, right? If he is also suggesting that
- 1:41:29world championship should be a one-off race with the top nine
- 1:41:34in each discipline. I fundamentally disagree with
- 1:41:36that. Because how do you measure it
- 1:41:41the entire ranking system is utterson.
- 1:41:44Anakin's it is like it's it's the most corrupt thing.
- 1:41:50It's Trump level corrupt so wow. Now if he's saying if he's
- 1:41:56saying it should be top 16. Much like the NCAA football
- 1:42:01debate, I have less of a problem arguing about whose number 16
- 1:42:05than I do about. Who's number 8, You see what I'm
- 1:42:08saying? So the problem with his example,
- 1:42:11is the ranking system is trash and corrupt and undefined
- 1:42:14undefinable, and his model would squeeze out the Collegiates that
- 1:42:18could legitimately make and win those competitions.
- 1:42:23My my, my opinion is this. I get the sense that the
- 1:42:33governing body of track and field would like to move things
- 1:42:37to to a tennis Style. Situation, no doubt and idea is
- 1:42:46that you're getting your very best lining up against each
- 1:42:50other for 14 competitions, right?
- 1:42:55You you know and we all know that is not happening.
- 1:43:01That does not happening because of politics, because of Agents,
- 1:43:06because the shoe companies because of I mean, you name, it
- 1:43:12Shenanigans because of all of that.
- 1:43:15Right there are times where you as athletes I'm not going over
- 1:43:21to Europe, right? And I mean the odds that
- 1:43:26European athletes are coming over to the u.s. to compete in
- 1:43:30New York and and Eugene, I mean, no, that's not happening.
- 1:43:36So it's laughable. The number of athletes that are
- 1:43:39not going to participate in World Championships that are
- 1:43:42going to go to Commonwealth. Yeah, this like that's, that's a
- 1:43:45large number of, folks, all that.
- 1:43:47All that being said, To do a point system.
- 1:43:54Where there's complete inconsistency with athletes on a
- 1:43:59week-to-week basis that are competing against each other,
- 1:44:03right? It's always going to be
- 1:44:06disjointed so you're never going to get the right 9.
- 1:44:10Never you will never get them to line up at the world
- 1:44:15championships. The annual World Championships
- 1:44:19were these barely get during the point barely get the right 32.
- 1:44:23I mean it's impossible. I mean so who was who was going?
- 1:44:28Those is prized people. Oh Works for bolt, then work for
- 1:44:35everybody else. Yeah.
- 1:44:41Now, because I would like to have
- 1:44:55liked the fact that it happens every two years makes it more
- 1:44:58valuable. It's the reason the Olympics is
- 1:45:00the most valuable. Well then eight, I mean we gotta
- 1:45:04pee what I would really be here for is for World Athletics.
- 1:45:06Actually putting funding behind the behind the Olympics.
- 1:45:10Like, that makes a ton of sense. I would also like to see track
- 1:45:16and field go to like a golf model where there's a certain
- 1:45:20number two, where you're a professional right?
- 1:45:24You know saying like like I don't know if you guys know this
- 1:45:26but like there's a what is 126? I think it is.
- 1:45:30It's either 125 126 And then after that, like below that you
- 1:45:33have exemption. So like you can be like in parts
- 1:45:36of the tour or whatever, but you don't have a full tour card
- 1:45:39which means you have to compete basically in the minor leagues,
- 1:45:43right? Like that's what track Meeks.
- 1:45:47That's the track meets drag me to like it.
- 1:45:49Need like you need to be Top 30 in the world, pick a number, you
- 1:45:58need to be top 30 in the world by, you know, by A system that
- 1:46:03makes sense. Not not our current ranking
- 1:46:05system to be to have like a professional track and field
- 1:46:09card right? If you don't, if you don't
- 1:46:11qualify for that card right? Then then you go on the be
- 1:46:15circuit for, you know, for a year and you have ways to earn
- 1:46:19your way back. but that would like, that's half the problem is
- 1:46:23wrong with tracks like there is no bottom Right.
- 1:46:27Like I mean look there will be people who compete in World
- 1:46:30Championships. There may be somebody that even
- 1:46:32wins a medal. They literally makes no money in
- 1:46:35track and field this year. Now, imagine that if you, if you
- 1:46:40wanted to keep your contract, you had to stay in the top 30,
- 1:46:44right? Imagine that, right?
- 1:46:48You don't think that would light a fire under those folks to go
- 1:46:51run and compete. Come on man.
- 1:46:57Anyway. All right.
- 1:47:00Well let's wrap up. I'm going to bring back.
- 1:47:02Would you rather for a quick minute and the let mr.
- 1:47:06Carnage himself endorsing Carnage.
- 1:47:09Holy jeez. Yeah.
- 1:47:11Okay. I wasn't prepared.
- 1:47:13This addition, these are always good but I'm not prepared.
- 1:47:17All right. Would you rather be forever
- 1:47:21young or forever mature? I was nice and you said, mature,
- 1:47:26I would definitely rather be forever.
- 1:47:28Young got it. Would you rather wear monarchs
- 1:47:33or New Balances? Our monarchs Desta, the air are
- 1:47:39Pat. Henry's is that what those are?
- 1:47:44I'm not going to say yes. My face is twitching, right?
- 1:47:54You said monarchs or New Balances.
- 1:47:56Yes, that's a tough. That's Carnage for sure.
- 1:48:01I'm going to pick New Balances, just because we're gonna, we're
- 1:48:04gonna try to We're going to try to move.
- 1:48:07Oh my God. Would you rather be on the ESPN
- 1:48:14top 10 or not top? 1000 top 10 for sure.
- 1:48:20Would you rather be Superman sidekick or Batman's?
- 1:48:25Sidekick, I'm not trying to be. Nobody's sidekick.
- 1:48:28My gosh. I mean, if I have to choose, I
- 1:48:32guess I would rather be Superman sidekick.
- 1:48:34I'm definitely not going to be Prophet.
- 1:48:35Like, there's that's not fair to say Robin.
- 1:48:38I said, you can be your own Batman's sidekick is Robin,
- 1:48:43would you rather have short term memory or long-term memory?
- 1:48:47Only, I'd only get one of the other in your profession.
- 1:48:55Short, definitely short. Rumery gee.
- 1:49:03That's funny. She deviates.
- 1:49:05Nothing? I work for this one.
- 1:49:09Would you rather forget. Oh, would you rather forget your
- 1:49:13trainers or your spikes at a me? Definitely rather forget my
- 1:49:18trainers. Got it.
- 1:49:20Yes. Well would you rather have a
- 1:49:22personal chef or personal needs personal chef I can clean up
- 1:49:29after my damn self. I'm a grown-ass man.
- 1:49:32Okay. Would you rather have a we're
- 1:49:35going to do, would you rather have a full tank of gas or fully
- 1:49:39charged phone? Tesla fully fully charged phone
- 1:49:48for sure. Okay.
- 1:49:52Good job. That was my last question.
- 1:49:54Gentlemen, always are? We supposed to stay in the realm
- 1:49:57of, would you rather? That is your choice?
- 1:50:00I have not pinned. You all to, would you, rather?
- 1:50:03I think I see you first or laughs.
- 1:50:06Go laughs petty, man. Governor sir, Lucius question or
- 1:50:13would you rather, would you rather attend the Super Bowl or
- 1:50:18the seventh game of the World Series?
- 1:50:23There's absolutely no question about that.
- 1:50:26I would much rather attend the Super Bowl.
- 1:50:31Yep. Okay.
- 1:50:46Would you rather see your son? Hit the winning shot in the NBA.
- 1:50:52Final game 7. Or would you rather him hit a
- 1:50:58dinger? Walk off dinner to win the World
- 1:51:01Series with out, question. Walk off dinner in the World
- 1:51:09Series and I'm a lose my mind. They will be viral videos
- 1:51:14running around the stadium with my finger rear are.
- 1:51:18You see that the governor being the man that he is took all the
- 1:51:23petty wind out of my sails? I should have went all
- 1:51:27wholesome. I can't even understand.
- 1:51:38Now loves basketball. So it wasn't really, it wasn't
- 1:51:43something that I it was uneducated.
- 1:51:46I knew. Absolutely.
- 1:51:59Chopper. Yeah, that's what I do.
- 1:52:02As a matter of fact, that jumper is probably a dunk on someone
- 1:52:08All right, baby. Come over.
- 1:52:19Would You Rather? See Sidney upset in foreign
- 1:52:26hurdles or War home upset in the Foreigner Hurley.
- 1:52:31Okay. So like in your head that
- 1:52:33sounded like a good question and I get that right, like, in your
- 1:52:40head because you didn't think. Paul.
- 1:52:41Listen, I would definitely rather see more home upset
- 1:52:47because I want to see right away.
- 1:52:49Yeah. You don't want to see the little
- 1:52:50one. Not just that I don't want to
- 1:53:07see. I want to see.
- 1:53:07I want to sear. I win.
- 1:53:08Fine fine. I'll go with my original space.
- 1:53:12Bring it, would you rather watch to eat the frozen chocolate
- 1:53:16covered banana or a peek? Holy shit.
- 1:53:25Taki is going on here. Oh my God, that really happened
- 1:53:47was forced to answer it. Say that we're about to go.
- 1:54:08We're about to go Instagram for the for the show.
- 1:54:11We're going to start really seeing what kind of followers we
- 1:54:14have on this show. So just saying.
- 1:54:16So folks are asking that's on big lie to she says she's doing
- 1:54:20that. Okay?
- 1:54:23Okay anyhow, we're going to close out the show with some
- 1:54:27heart beat drops. We're going to save our soul.
- 1:54:40It is my son's birthday Sean so I know he's been brought up in
- 1:54:45my kids have been brought up recently lately but it is his
- 1:54:49birthday. He is officially 14 and so just
- 1:54:53want to say happy birthday, love you.
- 1:54:55Keep kicking. Butt loves the decisions were
- 1:54:58making for the most part and Love to see you grow up sir.
- 1:55:05I'm gonna give my RV props to the NCAA coaches and athletes
- 1:55:09who are back out here and Eugene again, we are all dragging and I
- 1:55:15do mean dragging, but we will find a way to fight through
- 1:55:18this. Great job, everybody concerned.
- 1:55:22It selects all of your heart of a question.
- 1:55:25We all know that you left using but did y'all people leave,
- 1:55:28eugenia's, y'all just stay know, we love, just wait.
- 1:55:35I would like to give heartbeat pops out to five individuals
- 1:55:43that have been hired in the last week.
- 1:55:50Allen Johnson, your eye Burrell, Rosalind Joseph, David Neville,
- 1:55:56Dwayne Ross, well deserved and you know, I wish Wish all of
- 1:56:04you, the success. I feel like we're in a place
- 1:56:11where young coaches first-time coach has the knowledge, the,
- 1:56:19the wherewithal the examples. They're all out there, they're
- 1:56:25all out there. The mentors are out there.
- 1:56:28Reach Out, reach out because I think at the end of the day, I
- 1:56:33mean we can we do go to battle every year we do go to battle
- 1:56:37indoors and Outdoors and it's Cutthroat, you can say all you
- 1:56:40want. But at the end of the day, man,
- 1:56:43the young athletes that you're coaching and you're developing
- 1:56:47though. That's what's important.
- 1:56:50Okay. And there are folks that are
- 1:56:53right there, you can reach out and touch him, you can reach out
- 1:56:56to them, and if you don't have their numbers, their people that
- 1:57:00know their numbers. You what we what we're seeing
- 1:57:04right now. What we just saw this past week,
- 1:57:08I mean incredible. And we need to see more of it.
- 1:57:12You need to see more women getting these opportunities.
- 1:57:15We're talking about 50 years of Title Nine.
- 1:57:18We need to see more of it. And, you know, I'm I'm excited
- 1:57:25for the sport. Congratulations, lady and gents.
- 1:57:32Well done, sir. My heartbeat props actually go
- 1:57:43out to the baby. We open the show with two baby
- 1:57:48cry. His mother had some business
- 1:57:51overseas, and I know that that was incredibly difficult for her
- 1:57:55to leave him for the very first time, I'm sure she was panicked,
- 1:58:01but, you know, me and the little man played, you know, we played
- 1:58:04single dad for about three days and let me tell y'all something.
- 1:58:08I don't know how to sing. There's do anything this and
- 1:58:15what I tell you what I tell you, my baby boy is peaceful.
- 1:58:21He really is, you know, as a person who grew up mostly with a
- 1:58:27single parent I I don't know how anybody doesn't happen,
- 1:58:33especially you know, working professionals so Props to the
- 1:58:36little man for surviving and being the awesome you know,
- 1:58:41specimen that his mother is molded him into but props to
- 1:58:45single parents everywhere because yeah I don't I don't
- 1:58:48know how y'all do that. He's not even mobile yet.
- 1:58:51Just sweep this. He was cool until he's everybody
- 1:58:56survived. There were no incidents good.
- 1:59:00Yeah. Carnage.
- 1:59:09Yeah. My Harpy props.
- 1:59:16Go out to The families of us, track and field and baseball
- 1:59:26coaching people. We're about to get to July which
- 1:59:34means we're just about at 7 months.
- 1:59:37Straight of pretty much being gone and our families and our
- 1:59:43significant others have had to wear that.
- 1:59:46They don't complain too much. They they know that's the job
- 1:59:52they signed up for and, It's pretty amazing.
- 2:00:00What? significant others and families
- 2:00:04of coaches and, you know, agents and such do because they don't
- 2:00:14see us that often, you know, like we're there but not really
- 2:00:20there and The fact that we that it all works itself out, mainly
- 2:00:29comes from them, not us. We're going to be called if
- 2:00:32we're going to be clear, right? Like most of us are good with
- 2:00:35the computer, a stop watching a track or a computer stop
- 2:00:38watching a baseball field. And, you know, our our children
- 2:00:45and our significant, others stand in the gap for us, takes
- 2:00:48to like this is normal, it's okay.
- 2:00:53You know, this is how we're going to progress, and we're
- 2:00:55going to end up all being really good people.
- 2:00:59And it's at this time of the year every year that I, I guess
- 2:01:03that's like I'm faced with that reality that?
- 2:01:07Yeah, we're gone a lot. And because I've been joking
- 2:01:12about the truth which is I literally don't even know what
- 2:01:17state I'm in half the time or you know, or what day it is
- 2:01:22because that's true, right? Like Today is Thursday.
- 2:01:26So I started today in Fort Myers at 4:30 in the morning and
- 2:01:32finished today and Fort Worth but we leave people in our week
- 2:01:41who have to kind of make do with the amount of us that they get,
- 2:01:47and I just thought it would be cool to actually, like give
- 2:01:51those people props for Allowing us to go do what we do.
- 2:01:58For them. Let's be clear mean that, you
- 2:02:01know, part of it is for them but it's Being a track and field or
- 2:02:09baseball significant other or a track and field or baseball
- 2:02:14family. Member is not for the faint at
- 2:02:16heart, right? And there's a lot of stuff
- 2:02:18that's that's a long contract. You got to read it all and and
- 2:02:22some of the small some of the small print is like, wait, what
- 2:02:27do you mean we could move every year for six years in a row
- 2:02:30because that happened, you know, that kind of thing.
- 2:02:35So, you know, I just want to shoot Props to to those who
- 2:02:39support you know the mission in the dream that we all have and
- 2:02:45let's just keep it going like we're in a good spot.
- 2:02:49I think the world is moving for us.
- 2:02:53Anyway is moving in the right direction and it's our family
- 2:02:57that significant others that honestly allow for that to
- 2:03:00happen. Because truth be told like
- 2:03:03there's a lot of Gap standing that goes on behind the scenes.
- 2:03:08And even of this show. So that's my heartbeat props for
- 2:03:12the night. Well, wrapping up the show. sir,
- 2:03:22there's just good luck stamina. Perseverance at the championship
- 2:03:34weekend. Be safe and we will talk to you
- 2:03:36next week. Bye everyone.
- 2:03:41What the last call? Tough love punch when arms
- 2:03:56little brothers Athletics down below.
- 2:03:58See if there's no others track of feels great, you appeal to
- 2:04:01go, father, hey Wiley, Coyote is Rose - feels like, you know
- 2:04:06what? You've been witnessed the whole
- 2:04:07summer, if not, for this quarantine these floor Corners,
- 2:04:10wouldn't be here, but we're here to stop raining, you gotta
- 2:04:14understand types, gotta catch Stars, show you how to fight
- 2:04:17for, show us who you are, you lack experience, but still you
- 2:04:20want to tell and who was half drunk to you.
- 2:04:22Certain kind of small heads prevail when your backbone,
- 2:04:26strong, gotta keep it from an old won't last long, Pastor Phil
- 2:04:30this cell the session and if you don't check yourself and that's
- 2:04:34wrong just trying to give you the real that you asked for.
- 2:04:37So why you keep cutting us off to a small?
- 2:04:40We put it in slow-mo what you're fast?
