- 0:02Speaker 1: Hey, we're back.
- 0:14Speaker 2: It's been a minute, so I have to readjust everything
- 0:17Speaker 2: going back and forth. Today, we are going to be
- 0:21Speaker 2: bringing in a very, very talented comedian, publisher, and And
- 0:28Speaker 2: awesome Twitter handler name.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Jenny Sequa.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Hi.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Right on. Right on. Nice to meet you. How are you?
- 0:42Speaker 4: I'm doing well. It's the first sunny day in New
- 0:44Speaker 4: York City, so look at that.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Oh, that's right. You guys just had like a big storm, right?
- 0:49Speaker 3: I know.
- 0:51Speaker 5: So excited to come to Texas. I've never been to
- 0:54Speaker 5: Dallas or Plano, so thrilled.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Really? Oh, so you've never been in the state of
- 0:58Speaker 3: Texas at all?
- 1:00Speaker 4: I've been to Austin, but I know that's a different,
- 1:02Speaker 4: different thing.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Yeah. Like different, totally different vibe and whatever, whatnot. That's
- 1:06Speaker 3: what I always hear. It's funny.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Cause I've never been to Austin, but I've been to
- 1:10Speaker 2: like everything else, but it's, but I gotta, I gotta check.
- 1:12Speaker 3: It out one of these days.
- 1:14Speaker 4: I hear that's where the comedy scene is though. What
- 1:15Speaker 4: are you doing?
- 1:17Speaker 2: Uh, yeah, I, I tend, I'm one of those people
- 1:19Speaker 2: that I'm like, you know what? I'm just going to
- 1:21Speaker 2: go where everyone's not. Cause I'm an asshole like that.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Yeah. So it's like, um, but I, but like Dallas
- 1:28Speaker 3: is cool.
- 1:28Speaker 2: I like Dallas a lot because they got the hyenas
- 1:30Speaker 2: and they got the improvs and then, um, and then
- 1:33Speaker 2: they're close. Everything's like, it's a drive away, but like,
- 1:35Speaker 2: I think Austin, well, Austin's like two, three hours away
- 1:39Speaker 2: from Dallas.
- 1:40Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure. Yeah.
- 1:42Speaker 4: I will not be driving. I'm a New Yorker. So
- 1:44Speaker 4: I will be, uh, where I am.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Are you born and raised in New York?
- 1:50Speaker 4: No New Jersey, but you don't want a New Jersey
- 1:52Speaker 4: in driving either.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Right on. What part of New Jersey?
- 1:57Speaker 4: Basking Ridge, Central Jersey.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Okay, okay.
- 2:00Speaker 2: I got to– a buddy of mine, Brent Ernst, took
- 2:03Speaker 2: me out there because he's from Passaic.
- 2:06Speaker 3: So we did a whole thing of like– we did
- 2:09Speaker 3: a whole.
- 2:10Speaker 4: North of me, south of me. I don't know.
- 2:13Speaker 3: And then– Not my area.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Yeah, and then we did Tom's River and over– and
- 2:18Speaker 2: then like Seaside Heights and stuff like that.
- 2:20Speaker 3: And then Bottom Ship. We went all over.
- 2:23Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Yeah, we went all over the place.
- 2:25Speaker 4: Yeah, that's a lot of Jersey.
- 2:28Speaker 3: It's really pretty.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I didn't know that it was– of course, they call
- 2:31Speaker 2: it the Garden State, but I didn't expect that. And
- 2:35Speaker 2: I was just like, oh, this is– Yeah, they've got
- 2:36Speaker 2: a lot of trees.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Yeah. It's really pretty. And the food is ridiculous. Where
- 2:43Speaker 3: did I go?
- 2:43Speaker 4: I went to– You liked it?
- 2:45Speaker 3: Yeah. Um, I went to Rutgers or, or the, the, the,
- 2:49Speaker 3: that was, that was dope. And then on the, uh, on.
- 2:52Speaker 2: The shore, there was a cheese, um, a Philly cheesesteak
- 2:55Speaker 2: place that had like these cheese balls in it.
- 2:57Speaker 3: It was, it was fucking awesome. But yeah. Yeah.
- 3:00Speaker 5: I feel like, um, we're not really known for our cheesesteak,
- 3:03Speaker 5: but the shore does have really good fried food, you know,
- 3:06Speaker 5: boardwalk culture.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Right. I was going to say, um, and then you, uh,
- 3:11Speaker 3: and you're, uh, published though, right? Uh, That's awesome.
- 3:14Speaker 4: I'm an author.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:16Speaker 3: You're an author. How many books do you have?
- 3:19Speaker 4: Just the one for now.
- 3:20Speaker 6: We'll see.
- 3:21Speaker 4: Hopefully another. I like this cord, the cords that keep
- 3:24Speaker 4: popping up. A little bit of cord option.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:28Speaker 5: But yeah, I have the one book. It's the book
- 3:31Speaker 5: of red flags. It's about dating. It's investigative journalism from
- 3:36Speaker 5: my life.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Hilarious.
- 3:38Speaker 2: So you did a lot of, a lot of, um,
- 3:40Speaker 2: Dating and stuff like that.
- 3:41Speaker 4: I've done some dating. I've met some shitty guys enough
- 3:45Speaker 4: for a book. So there you go.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Boom. Would it be possible, well, I don't know.
- 3:52Speaker 2: I was going to say, is there a way to
- 3:54Speaker 2: flip it and be like a book of green flags
- 3:57Speaker 2: or yellow flags?
- 3:59Speaker 4: I mean, I just don't think people are that interested
- 4:01Speaker 4: in green flags. Also, it's not as funny. Also, I
- 4:05Speaker 4: haven't really, how many green flags am I seeing in
- 4:07Speaker 4: my day-to-day?
- 4:09Speaker 1: Far fewer.
- 4:10Speaker 2: I would even want to know what a green flag
- 4:11Speaker 2: would look like. You know, that's even kind of, like, interesting.
- 4:14Speaker 4: I mean, the bar is so low that, like, having
- 4:18Speaker 4: a job is a green flag.
- 4:21Speaker 3: A steady paycheck.
- 4:22Speaker 4: Being employed. Yeah. Having a paycheck. That's really it. That's
- 4:26Speaker 4: a big one. Having a bed frame. Knowing how to
- 4:28Speaker 4: use sheets.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Like, that.
- 4:31Speaker 4: Showering. It's so, like, it really... The bar is on
- 4:34Speaker 4: the floor. It's really not. But the show that I'm
- 4:36Speaker 4: doing in Plano is my.
- 4:40Speaker 5: Book of red flags tour. So it'll be a lot
- 4:42Speaker 5: of dating based content, super fun. Um, and we also
- 4:46Speaker 5: are going to give away books, which I forgot to
- 4:48Speaker 5: mention before, but we'll have, um, 20 books. So if
- 4:52Speaker 5: you are in the audience, very likely you're going to.
- 4:54Speaker 4: Get a book.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Oh, that's dope. That's awesome. That's awesome. Get a signature
- 4:59Speaker 3: and stuff like that too. That'll work.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
- 5:01Speaker 4: I'll sign it for sure.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Um, I was going to say, too, like, with, especially, like, well, dating,
- 5:06Speaker 2: because we're in the, well, we're in the present now,
- 5:09Speaker 2: but it's completely, because I don't know, did you date
- 5:12Speaker 2: before internet or after internet?
- 5:15Speaker 5: I did date before internet, but this book is very much,
- 5:18Speaker 5: has a lot of internet culture in it, right? Because
- 5:21Speaker 5: right now, like, you can watch, you can see on
- 5:24Speaker 5: charts from, you know, like, published charts and data that
- 5:29Speaker 5: um steadily over time the majority of people are meeting
- 5:32Speaker 5: their significant others on dating apps and no longer like
- 5:35Speaker 5: in person not at school not in church has really
- 5:39Speaker 5: gone down the amount of people meeting their significant other
- 5:41Speaker 5: in church steady decline godless culture um but yeah so
- 5:47Speaker 5: there's definitely a lot of dating apps presence in the
- 5:51Speaker 5: book and online and i'll And like red flags on
- 5:54Speaker 5: someone's profile, not just their dating app profile, but also
- 5:57Speaker 5: their social media profiles, like that kind of stuff.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Oh, decent, decent. I was going to say, oh shit,
- 6:04Speaker 3: once again. Are you single still? Yeah. Okay, boom, boom, boom.
- 6:11Speaker 3: How long have you been single?
- 6:14Speaker 4: Like three years at this point, which is crazy.
- 6:16Speaker 5: I wrote the book, took two years to write, but
- 6:19Speaker 5: I was single for a year before even the book existed.
- 6:24Speaker 4: But in any case, now when I'm dating, it says
- 6:26Speaker 4: on my.
- 6:27Speaker 5: Dating profiles that I wrote this book and men are like, oh,
- 6:31Speaker 5: can I be in the sequel?
- 6:32Speaker 4: And it's like, I don't think you want to be
- 6:33Speaker 4: in the sequel.
- 6:34Speaker 3: No, no, no. Can we just.
- 6:37Speaker 4: Not have red flags for one second?
- 6:38Speaker 5: And it is funny because people are like, well, is
- 6:41Speaker 5: it hard to date when you're known for dating?
- 6:44Speaker 4: It's like, well, yes.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:48Speaker 4: Of course.
- 6:49Speaker 2: I was going to ask you, so like, The moment you, like,
- 6:53Speaker 2: came up with the idea and then you were like,
- 6:58Speaker 2: I should make this a book. And then, like, how's
- 6:59Speaker 2: the process after that? Because, I mean, having the idea,
- 7:02Speaker 2: of course, comics and creatives all have the idea. The
- 7:05Speaker 2: problem is all the time is the initiative to make
- 7:08Speaker 2: the next step. Like, how was that process?
- 7:09Speaker 3: What was that like?
- 7:11Speaker 4: Well, I was actually commissioned. Oh, cool.
- 7:14Speaker 5: They, the idea came from the publisher and then they
- 7:17Speaker 5: were looking on the internet. They were Googling like who
- 7:20Speaker 5: should be the person who's dated the most of the
- 7:22Speaker 5: worst guys to write this.
- 7:24Speaker 4: And then it was me. That was my SEO.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Jesus.
- 7:28Speaker 2: I know it's, it's right next to your picture. So
- 7:30Speaker 2: I keep touching it by accident. Cause I'm, I'm trying
- 7:32Speaker 2: not to look down and stare dead at you. Um,
- 7:38Speaker 2: what about, what about, okay. So, um, Do you have
- 7:41Speaker 2: it in the book right now, again, with the damn cords,
- 7:45Speaker 2: son of.
- 7:46Speaker 3: A bitching cords? Because I find this super interesting.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Of course, you probably get asked tons of times, what's
- 7:53Speaker 2: the worst date you've ever been on? But I do
- 7:57Speaker 2: find that interesting. Do you have the most... Well, I mean.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Because there are different types of dates that are worse,
- 8:03Speaker 3: could be, right?
- 8:03Speaker 2: Like you got the ick from somebody, or someone just
- 8:07Speaker 2: was not paying.
- 8:12Speaker 5: I have a bunch in the book, but I had
- 8:15Speaker 5: a recent one that was really bad, but if I
- 8:17Speaker 5: was still writing the book, it would have made it
- 8:18Speaker 5: in there. But he told me he was writing an
- 8:21Speaker 5: epic fantasy novel.
- 8:23Speaker 4: And I was like, okay, cool.
- 8:25Speaker 5: Like Dune, you're writing Dune. And he was like, yeah,
- 8:28Speaker 5: sort of, but the, you know, the government system's different.
- 8:30Speaker 5: And I was like, okay, how are you writing this? Like,
- 8:32Speaker 5: what software are you using?
- 8:33Speaker 3: Right.
- 8:34Speaker 4: And I'm asking as someone who's also written a book, right. Well,
- 8:36Speaker 4: and that's how it came up. I was like, oh,
- 8:37Speaker 4: I wrote a book. And he was like, oh, me too.
- 8:39Speaker 4: I'm writing a book. And I was like, oh, okay, cool.
- 8:41Speaker 4: He's writing it in his notes app.
- 8:43Speaker 5: Which is a red flag that he's like typing thumbs
- 8:47Speaker 5: up on his notes app, writing Lord of the Rings.
- 8:51Speaker 4: That's an issue. So I was like, okay, well, interesting.
- 8:54Speaker 5: And then I was like, so what is the government
- 8:57Speaker 5: system like then in this world that you're creating?
- 9:00Speaker 4: And he's like, oh, oh, and we're done.
- 9:03Speaker 3: I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry.
- 9:04Speaker 4: That should have been me. No, that's okay. That should
- 9:06Speaker 4: have been me on the date saying, thanks, bye. But yeah.
- 9:12Speaker 5: He was like, actually, there's less government supervision. It's about
- 9:16Speaker 5: how the government shouldn't be so involved. And I was like, oh, okay, totally.
- 9:18Speaker 4: So you're a libertarian? And he was like, yes. And
- 9:22Speaker 4: I was like, okay, totally. Totally. I'm going to finish
- 9:26Speaker 4: this martini and I am going to go.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Bye. That's crazy.
- 9:34Speaker 5: You can learn a lot about a man's belief system
- 9:36Speaker 5: if he's writing a fantasy novel, of course.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I was single because being a comic too,
- 9:44Speaker 2: that's like, I would think that's a red flag off
- 9:46Speaker 2: the top.
- 9:47Speaker 4: Well, for men, definitely. And then for women, less so.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I feel like it's a red flag
- 9:54Speaker 2: because not, uh, I, I feel like necessarily it's, it's
- 9:57Speaker 2: hard to date, um, because I am date night. So
- 10:01Speaker 2: it's like, how can we go out when, you know,
- 10:04Speaker 2: it's like, oh, well, uh, let's go have, uh, let's
- 10:08Speaker 2: go have dinner on Tuesday. And it's like, that's kind
- 10:10Speaker 2: of hard to do. Um, and also too.
- 10:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 10:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:14Speaker 3: I'm sorry. Good.
- 10:15Speaker 5: You have to be with someone who understands that your
- 10:17Speaker 5: schedule is going to be, you work at night.
- 10:20Speaker 4: And you're busy at night and you might be busy
- 10:21Speaker 4: during the day too.
- 10:22Speaker 5: If you have to have a day job in addition
- 10:24Speaker 5: to your standup, if you're not making enough, which, you know,
- 10:26Speaker 5: I do. So, um, I dated a standup comic for
- 10:30Speaker 5: a long time, which makes sense. I mean, like we
- 10:32Speaker 5: have similar schedules and we liked making stuff together and
- 10:35Speaker 5: that was really fun, but to stand up comedians together
- 10:37Speaker 5: is bad.
- 10:39Speaker 4: I don't recommend it.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Yeah, no, it's. And then on top of that, you
- 10:42Speaker 3: have to break, break dates or break plans. Cause it's like, Oh, something.
- 10:46Speaker 2: And it's, I'm sorry to say more important kind of
- 10:47Speaker 2: came up right now with this gig or, So you
- 10:50Speaker 2: got to definitely be okay with that.
- 10:52Speaker 5: Well, my ex was like, I like that a date
- 10:56Speaker 5: night for us can be like we're not even going
- 10:58Speaker 5: to get dinner or anything. We're going to go to
- 11:00Speaker 5: the mics together. And I'm like, yes, but I would
- 11:03Speaker 5: like to be bought dinner.
- 11:06Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 11:07Speaker 1: That would be nice.
- 11:10Speaker 4: I wouldn't like that he's like no but.
- 11:12Speaker 3: This is this is perfect this is part no no
- 11:14Speaker 3: this is.
- 11:14Speaker 6: Perfect yeah it's really good yeah we can go i
- 11:17Speaker 6: can get you a beer at the open mic that
- 11:19Speaker 6: we both want to go to and i'm like for
- 11:20Speaker 6: sure but like what about also getting me dinner what about.
- 11:25Speaker 2: That i was always like um that was another thing
- 11:28Speaker 2: too for me was uh the like if i make
- 11:30Speaker 2: plans if i made the date and i'm like okay
- 11:32Speaker 2: i want to do that let's let's do that and
- 11:34Speaker 2: then a big thing of the, just canceling. Like, uh,
- 11:39Speaker 2: I found that like today's day and age, it was,
- 11:41Speaker 2: people have no respect for somebody else's time. So it's like, ah,
- 11:46Speaker 2: I can't make it. And then you can't be mad.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Cause you know, it's like, all right, I can't be mad. Um,
- 11:51Speaker 2: I have no place type of thing. So it's like, okay,
- 11:53Speaker 2: well it kind of sucks. Cause I, I didn't take
- 11:57Speaker 2: a gig tonight. Like I didn't, it's Friday night or
- 11:59Speaker 2: it's Saturday night. I didn't take a gig for this
- 12:01Speaker 2: weekend or whatever. Cause I really wanted this to work.
- 12:03Speaker 2: And it's almost as though, like I said, Hey, why
- 12:05Speaker 2: don't you call in and let's go have breakfast tomorrow.
- 12:08Speaker 3: And then you do. And I'm like, Oh, you know what?
- 12:10Speaker 2: I don't feel like going. It's too, I can't, I
- 12:12Speaker 2: can't make it. And now it's like, you just lost
- 12:13Speaker 2: a day of pay. So it's, I've always had, it
- 12:16Speaker 2: was always really hard.
- 12:18Speaker 4: That's for everyone though. Not just standup comics.
- 12:21Speaker 5: Cause people in general and dating, like everyone's canceling plans
- 12:24Speaker 5: all the time.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:25Speaker 2: It's a, it's an epidemic of like just people disrespecting
- 12:28Speaker 2: other people's time constantly.
- 12:29Speaker 3: I just, I'm like, ah, come on.
- 12:31Speaker 2: I was like, uh, cause like I'm older now and
- 12:34Speaker 2: it's just funny cause it's like, I go, uh, when
- 12:37Speaker 2: I first heard about ghosting, I was like, that's crazy. Like,
- 12:40Speaker 2: like when back in the day, like you had, you
- 12:42Speaker 2: couldn't break up with someone's answer machine. You had to
- 12:45Speaker 2: go and tell them you couldn't. And so just ghosting
- 12:47Speaker 2: is mad disrespectful.
- 12:48Speaker 3: I'm like, Oh, okay. That's, you got no heart.
- 12:52Speaker 4: It's like, it's so crazy.
- 12:54Speaker 5: Like the last person that I was kind of going
- 12:56Speaker 5: on dates with, um, I actually took him to a
- 12:59Speaker 5: really cool magic night, which is one of my tricks
- 13:02Speaker 5: is like, I like this really like vibey cool magic
- 13:06Speaker 5: show in New York and I have access to it.
- 13:08Speaker 4: So I'll be like, come to the show with me, whatever.
- 13:10Speaker 5: So he, you know, like paid for everything there, but
- 13:14Speaker 5: we both got our own tickets, whatever.
- 13:15Speaker 4: And then like, after that, I, he never texted me again.
- 13:19Speaker 5: And like, I'm not, it's not ghosting because I haven't
- 13:22Speaker 5: texted him being like, Hey, you want to hang out?
- 13:24Speaker 4: But like, he'd never like, Didn't get any kind of like,
- 13:31Speaker 4: like nothing. You know what I mean? So it's like
- 13:32Speaker 4: not even, it's not ghosting.
- 13:34Speaker 5: It's ghosting if I take the action of trying to
- 13:37Speaker 5: reach out to him.
- 13:38Speaker 4: I bet if I texted him now, even though it's
- 13:41Speaker 4: been like a month, two months, he still would text
- 13:43Speaker 4: me back.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:44Speaker 4: But there was no like breakup.
- 13:47Speaker 5: There was no like, I don't like, this was fun,
- 13:53Speaker 5: but I don't really want to see you again.
- 13:54Speaker 6: You know what I mean?
- 13:55Speaker 4: Like there was nothing like that.
- 13:57Speaker 5: Which I think people are just too scared to like
- 14:02Speaker 5: be honest with each other about what they're feeling. And like,
- 14:05Speaker 5: I guess I also have the onus to be like, Hey,
- 14:08Speaker 5: it was fun, but I don't really want to see
- 14:09Speaker 5: you anymore. But the thing is like, I would have
- 14:11Speaker 5: gone on more dates with him, but I've learned everything
- 14:14Speaker 5: I need to know because he stopped communicating with me.
- 14:17Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 14:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Well, that's, I mean, cause like, like, like I guess
- 14:20Speaker 2: you would say back in the day there was certain
- 14:22Speaker 2: things like there's, I don't feel like that's ghosting. I
- 14:24Speaker 2: feel like that's basically what we used to call fizzling out.
- 14:26Speaker 3: It just fizzled out.
- 14:27Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 14:28Speaker 3: Yeah. It was a fizzle. Yeah. When someone definitely is
- 14:32Speaker 3: like– He.
- 14:32Speaker 5: Still exists on the internet though, which is so weird
- 14:35Speaker 5: too because I can look at his Instagram and be like,
- 14:37Speaker 5: what is he doing?
- 14:38Speaker 3: Isn't that crazy?
- 14:39Speaker 2: I remember back in the– okay, I keep saying back
- 14:41Speaker 2: in the day. But I remember like if you broke
- 14:42Speaker 2: up with someone that you broke up with them. You
- 14:44Speaker 2: don't get this– you can get over them without seeing them.
- 14:46Speaker 2: But now it's like, it takes even longer to get
- 14:48Speaker 2: over someone.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Oh, it's so, that's so crazy. Yeah.
- 14:51Speaker 5: It's a whole life that I can like look at
- 14:53Speaker 5: because we were following each other on Instagram.
- 14:55Speaker 3: So yeah, no, I, I got off the streets. I
- 14:58Speaker 3: got off the street. I was like, I'm good.
- 15:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:03Speaker 2: I was like, all right, I'm, I'm done. I was like,
- 15:05Speaker 2: I will. Cause I was single for, Oh shit, shit, shit, shit, shit. Oh,
- 15:07Speaker 2: let me, Oh, that was this thing.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Okay. Yeah. No, I'm just going to edit.
- 15:12Speaker 2: I'm going to, I'll edit some of the, I'll edit
- 15:14Speaker 2: all this out. Um, uh, the, um, I, uh, I, uh,
- 15:20Speaker 2: I got off the street. I was single for about 10,
- 15:23Speaker 2: 12 years, just cause just doing standup. I was like,
- 15:27Speaker 2: I'm just going to just, just dedicate standup and just
- 15:29Speaker 2: be a road comic. And that's what I was. And
- 15:31Speaker 2: it was dope and it was good stuff. And, but
- 15:33Speaker 2: then like, um, I moved to Vegas and I was like, Oh,
- 15:37Speaker 2: Vegas is going to be crying. I'm just going to
- 15:38Speaker 2: go wild and it's going to be dope. And then, uh,
- 15:41Speaker 2: I met the girl. of that I'm married, like the
- 15:44Speaker 2: day I was leaving my city and I was like,
- 15:47Speaker 2: all right, that's just how it happens.
- 15:49Speaker 4: Yeah. So now I'm a good, I love Vegas. Vegas
- 15:52Speaker 4: is crazy like that.
- 15:53Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. Vegas is nuts. I really enjoy it though.
- 15:57Speaker 3: I'm chilling here. Uh, but yeah, so, okay. That's, that's, well,
- 16:00Speaker 3: that's the gets no part of the, of the portion
- 16:03Speaker 3: of the show.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Um, we'd like to get into, uh, the questions, uh,
- 16:07Speaker 2: this just trivia, uh, And just to shit talk and
- 16:10Speaker 2: basically own rights to the other clubs for a week,
- 16:13Speaker 2: we're going to do week four.
- 16:15Speaker 3: This one. Great. Okay, so are you ready for... Oh, wait,
- 16:19Speaker 3: you know what? Let's do week five.
- 16:20Speaker 4: I'm ready.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Okay, boom.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Okay.
- 16:23Speaker 3: All right. So here we go, because I'm going to
- 16:25Speaker 3: put this up as soon as possible. So the first question.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Okay, let me get this going so I don't fuck
- 16:34Speaker 2: up the.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Uh, the, the cords are gone now that we're here.
- 16:40Speaker 2: No more, no more cords at all. Or thank you for, uh,
- 16:44Speaker 2: for watching.
- 16:45Speaker 3: Um, okay.
- 16:46Speaker 2: So question, uh, question number one, uh, sports question. Uh,
- 16:50Speaker 2: what city did the Lakers play in?
- 16:52Speaker 3: Oh no. Yeah. What city did the Lakers play in
- 16:54Speaker 3: before LA?
- 16:58Speaker 4: All I know is LA.
- 17:00Speaker 5: Um, let's say this is going to be wrong, but
- 17:04Speaker 5: I think let's say San Diego.
- 17:06Speaker 4: I have no idea.
- 17:07Speaker 3: No, but here's a hint, though. Here's a hint. They're
- 17:09Speaker 3: called the Lakers.
- 17:12Speaker 4: Well, where could there be a lake? What about in Tahoe?
- 17:28Speaker 3: That would be dope.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Lake in Tahoe.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Yeah, the Tahoe Lakers.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Um it's actually um uh minnesota minneapolis lake it's a
- 17:37Speaker 2: great lake isn't that crazy yeah um yeah.
- 17:43Speaker 5: I know yeah i don't know much about sports or
- 17:45Speaker 5: geography so that question was going to be a stumper for.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Me shit because the next one is geography.
- 17:52Speaker 2: It's uh speaking of of like area or other where
- 17:55Speaker 2: you just sat the nevada what's the what's the capital
- 17:58Speaker 2: of nevada.
- 18:03Speaker 4: Oh, God.
- 18:05Speaker 5: You would think that any of this would have stuck
- 18:07Speaker 5: with me. Because they drilled it. We had to put
- 18:10Speaker 5: it on our little maps.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:13Speaker 4: It's not Vegas.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Hint, it's by Lake Tahoe. It's up in that area.
- 18:19Speaker 4: Oh, great.
- 18:20Speaker 3: Perfect.
- 18:21Speaker 5: That helps so much.
- 18:24Speaker 4: I know. It's where the Mormons are. Salt Lake City? No,
- 18:26Speaker 4: that's Utah.
- 18:29Speaker 3: It does have city in it.
- 18:31Speaker 4: It does have city. Okay, good.
- 18:34Speaker 6: Um.
- 18:40Speaker 4: Uh, you'd say it. I'm not... I don't know.
- 18:43Speaker 3: Okay, it's Carson City.
- 18:45Speaker 4: Carson City. Wasn't gonna get it.
- 18:48Speaker 3: She said, uh.
- 18:49Speaker 4: No words.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Okay, here's an entertainment question.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Okay.
- 18:54Speaker 3: What film did Robin Williams win an Oscar for? Um.
- 19:01Speaker 4: Did he win for the Dead Poets Society?
- 19:06Speaker 3: No, no. I'll give you another shot. I'll give you
- 19:10Speaker 3: another shot.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Okay.
- 19:12Speaker 4: I don't feel like it's Mr. Doubtfire.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Which he should have. No, I'm sorry. No.
- 19:22Speaker 4: I'm not sure. I'm going to say Flubber. It's not
- 19:24Speaker 4: going to be right, but it could be.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Flubber.
- 19:26Speaker 3: I forgot all about Flubber.
- 19:28Speaker 4: You can't forget Flubber.
- 19:30Speaker 6: I haven't.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Oh, man, that's so funny.
- 19:31Speaker 2: I remember when McDonald's had, like, a big, like, they
- 19:36Speaker 2: had all the Flubber stuff.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Good Will Hunting. He finally won an Oscar for Good
- 19:42Speaker 3: Will Hunting.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Of course.
- 19:44Speaker 3: Yeah. So here are, here's, a, it's going to be
- 19:48Speaker 3: a kind of a history question, I guess.
- 19:51Speaker 4: Okay. What if I just got zero?
- 19:55Speaker 2: Don't worry. People have gotten zero. It's like what you
- 19:58Speaker 2: call it. It's hella funny because like everyone's always.
- 20:01Speaker 3: Like, what the fuck are these questions? Where are these
- 20:02Speaker 3: coming from? And I was like, I don't know.
- 20:04Speaker 4: I just fucking remember. Well, I host trivia even, but
- 20:07Speaker 4: I host pop culture trivia. So there's no.
- 20:09Speaker 3: Okay, it's like, yeah, this is all over. Name three
- 20:12Speaker 3: allied powers.
- 20:15Speaker 4: Three allied powers. Okay, the good guys?
- 20:18Speaker 3: Yeah, the good guys. Totally.
- 20:20Speaker 4: The good guys? Okay, the UK and America.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Yes.
- 20:26Speaker 4: And, yeah. UK, America, and.
- 20:31Speaker 3: France?
- 20:35Speaker 4: France?
- 20:37Speaker 3: Yep, there you go. Fuck yeah. Amazing. Boom.
- 20:45Speaker 4: What if I was like Germany? Germany, Russia, Japan.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Yeah, no. Okay, so what's the next one? Oh, what's
- 20:54Speaker 2: the main organ in the circulatory system?
- 20:57Speaker 4: In the circulatory system? Are we going to say... The Heart?
- 21:01Speaker 3: Yes, awesome. You are on a roll right now.
- 21:07Speaker 5: Are you hearing the easy ones now?
- 21:11Speaker 2: You're about to break even right now. Oh, this is
- 21:15Speaker 2: a funny one.
- 21:17Speaker 3: It's interesting.
- 21:18Speaker 2: About how many herbs and spices does KFC original recipe contain?
- 21:23Speaker 3: Oh.
- 21:24Speaker 2: And this only is to talk about their Twitter handle
- 21:27Speaker 2: that I found, that I discovered.
- 21:31Speaker 4: I think 16.
- 21:34Speaker 5: 16.
- 21:36Speaker 3: It's 11. It's 11.
- 21:37Speaker 4: Okay.
- 21:38Speaker 2: And the funny thing about it is, the reason why
- 21:40Speaker 2: I made this question is because on Twitter, KFC only
- 21:44Speaker 2: follows 11 people and it's the Spice Girls.
- 21:49Speaker 3: That's funny. Yeah, that's hilarious.
- 21:52Speaker 4: That's silly.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Okay, so what's the nickname of Pittsburgh?
- 22:01Speaker 4: Um, Pittsburgh, something with steel.

- 22:24Speaker 2: who directed the Oscar award winning movie, their hurt locker
- 22:27Speaker 2: and point break.
- 22:30Speaker 4: Um, Catherine Bigelow.
- 22:31Speaker 3: Yes.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Awesome.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Boom. And you're even right now. You made it even
- 22:37Speaker 3: a cool, cool. Um, okay. Wow. Here's a history question. Um,
- 22:42Speaker 3: who shot Abraham Lincoln?
- 22:45Speaker 4: Um, it was Booth.
- 22:47Speaker 3: Yes. I just, I just liked the applause. Okay.
- 22:52Speaker 4: I like the applause. They're fun. Why not? I earned it.
- 22:56Speaker 2: You're the first one to get the applause because I
- 22:58Speaker 2: never had the button and now I have it and
- 23:00Speaker 2: I just keep fucking with it.
- 23:01Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 23:02Speaker 4: Very exciting. You should add more sound effects.
- 23:05Speaker 3: I know.
- 23:05Speaker 2: I was going to do the ding, but then I
- 23:08Speaker 2: was like, okay, so here's Final Jeopardy.
- 23:12Speaker 3: You can wager points. You can wager all five or
- 23:14Speaker 3: you can wager one and none, whatever. It's all up

- 23:23Speaker 5: Okay okay let's wager all my points why not okay
- 23:27Speaker 5: fuck it.
- 23:28Speaker 2: You know what's funny is everybody all the comics love
- 23:32Speaker 2: it love it okay so this is kind of this
- 23:34Speaker 2: is a kind of meta um who is the current
- 23:37Speaker 2: host of Jeopardy.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Oh um.
- 23:44Speaker 4: God what is his name he's um the guy who
- 23:47Speaker 4: kept winning uh yeah Yeah, you know it. Yeah.
- 23:54Speaker 5: I know exactly what he looks like to that pale
- 23:57Speaker 5: little guy.
- 24:00Speaker 6: God.
- 24:01Speaker 4: What is your name? I don't want to.

- 24:47Speaker 5: I just go, well, at the end, I wagered all
- 24:52Speaker 5: my points, like a good comedian does.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Yeah, that'll work right on.
- 24:57Speaker 4: I'll do it.
- 24:58Speaker 3: Yeah, good stuff.
- 24:59Speaker 2: Congrats. You were probably going to be the fucking top
- 25:04Speaker 2: of this week. Everybody else waved you off.
- 25:07Speaker 3: I hope so. Yeah, yeah. It's going to be great.

- 26:24Speaker 5: You can definitely order it online from your local bookstore,
- 26:27Speaker 5: and sometimes local bookstores will also have it in stock.
- 26:29Speaker 4: It really depends.

- 27:19Speaker 4: Yeah, see you at a comedy club.
- 27:23Speaker 3: Yeah, somewhere. All right, right on.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Please.
