- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Ts in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Tamara Judge. Hi, guys.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Welcome back to the episode of The Twat Seat with myself,
- 0:13Speaker 2: Tamara Judge, and Teddy Mellencamp. Today, we have Anita Aspin
- 0:16Speaker 2: from Southern Charm, who works as a fashion influencer, content creator,
- 0:19Speaker 2: and professional model.
- 0:21Speaker 1: How are you guys doing? Good.
- 0:23Speaker 3: How are you?
- 0:24Speaker 1: Great.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Well, we're so happy that you're here with us today. Now,
- 0:27Speaker 2: we had recently had Craig on the podcast.
- 0:30Speaker 1: I saw.
- 0:31Speaker 3: A few weeks ago. And he said your friendship is
- 0:33Speaker 3: in a much better place this season. Do you agree
- 0:36Speaker 3: with him?
- 0:36Speaker 1: It is. I do agree with that. You know what?
- 0:38Speaker 1: I was actually sick about four weeks ago and he
- 0:40Speaker 1: got me these stunning, two stunning bouquet of flowers. So yeah,
- 0:45Speaker 1: we're in a good place.
- 0:46Speaker 4: That's sweet.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Do you see a difference in Craig now that, you know,
- 0:49Speaker 2: he's gone through his breakup, he's moved on, he's in
- 0:51Speaker 2: a better place?
- 0:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I do actually. I feel like he's trying to
- 0:57Speaker 1: right his wrongs and make things right with everyone, which
- 0:59Speaker 1: is nice to see. But I think he's doing a
- 1:01Speaker 1: great job. Yeah.
- 1:02Speaker 5: Yeah, because he definitely won us over when he was here.
- 1:06Speaker 5: I was like, I don't know if this is because
- 1:07Speaker 5: he's a charmer or, like, we both by the end
- 1:10Speaker 5: were like, we love Craig.
- 1:11Speaker 4: He's great. We don't care what we've ever said.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Yeah, he's a sweet kid. I think he just was
- 1:17Speaker 1: going through a really big, rough patch.
- 1:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Now, do you guys have an air date yet?
- 1:22Speaker 1: We do. I don't know if I'm allowed to say yet.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Oh, so you know.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Is it this year? I don't know if I'm allowed
- 1:28Speaker 1: to say that either. Yeah. I don't want to get
- 1:32Speaker 1: in trouble.
- 1:33Speaker 3: No, no, I get it. I get it.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:36Speaker 4: Did you see the picture of Charlie with Paige? What's
- 1:39Speaker 4: this all about?
- 1:41Speaker 1: I think they were at the same fashion week show.
- 1:43Speaker 1: There was the retro fat show, I think. Okay. Well, like,
- 1:47Speaker 1: I don't know if they have like a relationship outside
- 1:50Speaker 1: of them seeing each other there.
- 1:53Speaker 4: But they just had to get that picture in.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I mean, they look good. I don't blame them.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Teddy's looking for the drama in it. She's looking for
- 2:04Speaker 3: the drama. I was like, hold on.
- 2:06Speaker 4: Why are you dangling this little carrot in front of
- 2:08Speaker 4: us and not giving us any more details?
- 2:11Speaker 1: I just think they're at the same show at the
- 2:12Speaker 1: same time. I don't think there's anything deeper than that.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Well, Craig also said that season 12 of the show
- 2:18Speaker 2: has evolved.
- 2:20Speaker 3: What's one word that you can describe the show? I
- 2:23Speaker 3: know you can't say much.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Yeah. Um, I would say family. I don't, I feel
- 2:30Speaker 1: like this is the closest we've all ever been. Like,
- 2:33Speaker 1: and we fought and we were able to regroup like
- 2:37Speaker 1: a family this season, which is nice. It's not like
- 2:39Speaker 1: we're fighting and then all of a sudden, like everyone
- 2:41Speaker 1: hates each other. Yeah. Like we have like a group
- 2:44Speaker 1: chat that Craig put together, um, for season 12 and
- 2:48Speaker 1: like we're in it almost every day yapping.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Craig just doing the most.
- 2:52Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:53Speaker 1: You know, he's, he's doing his best, you know, I
- 2:55Speaker 1: got to give him that.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Making up for bad times. So we're seeing.
- 2:58Speaker 5: Conflict and resolution, which is hard on Southern charm.
- 3:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I feel like it's always a lot of conflict and
- 3:04Speaker 1: the resolution doesn't really happen. And in some spaces it's
- 3:08Speaker 1: still not fully happening, but it's definitely getting to better places. Yeah.
- 3:12Speaker 4: Do you regret anything that you said or did last season?
- 3:15Speaker 1: No.
- 3:17Speaker 4: No.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Now, could I have said it in a better way?
- 3:23Speaker 1: You can always say things better, but no, I don't
- 3:24Speaker 1: regret what I said or did last season.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Yeah. We needed you last year.
- 3:29Speaker 2: We did.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I don't know. Some people from last year and maybe
- 3:32Speaker 1: they said that I didn't need me, but I don't know.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I think I did good last year.
- 3:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:37Speaker 3: You were in quite a bit of the drama last year.
- 3:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:40Speaker 1: It was kind of my favorite place to be.
- 3:46Speaker 5: We've also gotten to know sally a little bit you
- 3:49Speaker 5: had a little bit of a falling out with her
- 3:51Speaker 5: in season 11 where does the friendship stand.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Now we're good i saw her for fashion week uh
- 3:56Speaker 1: i guess i was a week ago now and you
- 3:58Speaker 1: know we i just don't get to see her as
- 3:59Speaker 1: much because we're equally busy but i think we're in
- 4:02Speaker 1: a good spot yeah we'll go through a little bit
- 4:04Speaker 1: of a rough patch this season but it gets better.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Has sally gotten any better with her men picking.
- 4:10Speaker 1: I am choosing to stay out of that.
- 4:12Speaker 3: So that would be a no.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Okay.
- 4:16Speaker 5: Which one of Sally's men would you pick if you
- 4:18Speaker 5: had to for yourself?
- 4:21Speaker 1: I wouldn't.
- 4:26Speaker 4: You mean Kyle's not at the top of your list?
- 4:29Speaker 1: No, we have different tastes in men. And I think
- 4:30Speaker 1: that's going to keep our friendship moving forward is that
- 4:32Speaker 1: we don't have the same taste in men.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 4:34Speaker 4: What was the guy's name that you dated?
- 4:36Speaker 1: JT.
- 4:36Speaker 3: JT. Is that who?
- 4:39Speaker 1: Yeah. I'm sorry.
- 4:41Speaker 4: We're going to have to tease you a little bit
- 4:42Speaker 4: on that one.
- 4:43Speaker 1: That's okay. That's okay.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Have you spoken to him since he left? He's like
- 4:48Speaker 3: in Bali or something, right?
- 4:49Speaker 1: Yeah. He's been on this two-year sabbatical now in Bali.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Just picked up everything, sold all his homes, watches, cars,
- 4:57Speaker 1: and just up and left.
- 4:59Speaker 3: I wonder how that's working for him.
- 5:02Speaker 1: I don't know. I just hope he's alive and well.
- 5:04Speaker 1: I'll give it that.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Is he active on social media?
- 5:09Speaker 1: I don't think I follow him anymore.
- 5:12Speaker 4: You don't think?
- 5:14Speaker 1: I'm not running the Instagram, but he blocked me. I
- 5:19Speaker 1: blocked him back.
- 5:21Speaker 3: You know.
- 5:22Speaker 4: You know, it happens.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Who would you say you're the closest friends with on
- 5:26Speaker 2: Southern Charm now?
- 5:27Speaker 3: Madison. She looks amazing.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't know how she does it. I don't
- 5:34Speaker 1: know how she does it.
- 5:35Speaker 3: She's a hard worker.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Yeah. She got two kids, a hot husband, an empire
- 5:40Speaker 1: to run. And like, she makes it look so easy.
- 5:42Speaker 3: I know.
- 5:43Speaker 2: You talked about being blocked by JT. Is there going
- 5:46Speaker 2: to be on your cast you'd like to block?
- 5:48Speaker 1: No, because the person that I had blocked and had
- 5:51Speaker 1: me blocked back, that's over, Greg.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Oh, so you, I love that for you guys. Yeah.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Yeah. It's, it's over. It's, it's nice. It's refreshing to like,
- 6:01Speaker 1: have had such a hard moment that I didn't think
- 6:03Speaker 1: we were going to be able to come out of,
- 6:04Speaker 1: and now we're on the other side of it, and
- 6:06Speaker 1: it's nice.
- 6:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:07Speaker 4: Oh, I had a question for you also.
- 6:09Speaker 5: You know, when you think about some of the other
- 6:11Speaker 5: Bravo shows, they're very female-centered.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:15Speaker 5: Southern Charm, it's the most male-centered, I would say, of
- 6:18Speaker 5: any of them.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Yes. And the males remind us that every single day
- 6:22Speaker 1: that this show is about them.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 6:24Speaker 1: Yeah. Rude. Like funny ways. They're like, yeah, no, like
- 6:29Speaker 1: I'm the reason you're here. Like the show's about us.
- 6:31Speaker 1: And I'm like, okay.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Any way the girls can take it over? I mean.
- 6:35Speaker 3: Take your show back, Vanita.
- 6:37Speaker 4: I mean, they're going to have to get really messy
- 6:39Speaker 4: to beat up, beat those guys. Yeah.
- 6:42Speaker 1: And like the girls in this group were just like,
- 6:44Speaker 1: not like that. Like it's not worth losing good friendships
- 6:48Speaker 1: to trying to be the top dog and be like, oh,
- 6:50Speaker 1: it's our show now. You know, like we'd rather, if
- 6:52Speaker 1: we fight, we'd rather fix it than to let it fester.
- 6:55Speaker 3: What season is this for you? Remind me.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Season six.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Season six. Now you just don't do Southern Charm.
- 7:00Speaker 2: You have a sub stack called seasoned weekly where you
- 7:03Speaker 2: share your favorite recipes. Is that like something you've always
- 7:08Speaker 2: been passionate about cooking?
- 7:09Speaker 1: Yeah. So I actually went to culinary school. So I
- 7:12Speaker 1: went to school for, I didn't finish, but I really
- 7:15Speaker 1: have always enjoyed like cooking and like making recipes on
- 7:17Speaker 1: the fly. So Seasoned Weekly is all about what I
- 7:20Speaker 1: quite literally make every single week. Keep it easy, simple,
- 7:23Speaker 1: and anyone can make it if they wanted to.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Can you explain Substack?
- 7:26Speaker 2: Because I've never like logged on to anybody's or now.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Is it just writing?
- 7:30Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just writing. It's pictures. Some people have videos
- 7:33Speaker 1: on them, but Substack just feels more. Yeah, Substack just
- 7:36Speaker 1: feels more of like an elevated newsletter, if you will. Okay. Yeah.
- 7:41Speaker 4: That makes sense.
- 7:42Speaker 3: That's very cool.
- 7:44Speaker 5: Because also I've noticed whenever there's a party at Southern Charm,
- 7:48Speaker 5: we see you kind of running around and like fixing
- 7:51Speaker 5: it up. Like you're putting like the flowers in the
- 7:54Speaker 5: correct spot. Is that because you just love doing.
- 7:56Speaker 1: It or does everyone ask you to do it? Both.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Everyone knows I love doing it. So no one has
- 8:02Speaker 1: a problem asking me to help them, which I don't
- 8:03Speaker 1: have a problem doing. But no, I really just enjoy hosting,
- 8:07Speaker 1: bringing people together, setting beautiful tables. It's just a big,
- 8:11Speaker 1: it's a big passion of mine. And I hope to
- 8:12Speaker 1: be able to do more with it in the next
- 8:14Speaker 1: few years.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I was going to ask you.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Do you hope to do something in the sub stack
- 8:18Speaker 2: to like make it grow into something else?
- 8:20Speaker 3: Would you want to be on a cooking show?
- 8:22Speaker 1: Like I want a cooking show.
- 8:23Speaker 3: I want a book.
- 8:24Speaker 1: You know, we want all the things.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Cookbook?
- 8:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I want a cookbook. You got to do that.
- 8:28Speaker 1: I want a cookbook that's mixed with a little bit
- 8:29Speaker 1: of hosting so it's not such.
- 8:31Speaker 3: Can we have your mom's point of view too? We
- 8:34Speaker 3: love your mom.
- 8:34Speaker 1: She's a doll baby. She is. Do we get to
- 8:38Speaker 1: see her? Yeah, you get to see a lot of
- 8:40Speaker 1: her this season, I think, which I'm excited about.
- 8:43Speaker 3: I love that.
- 8:44Speaker 1: She's my favorite person.
- 8:46Speaker 5: How does reality TV fit into your love of hosting, cooking, fashion,
- 8:52Speaker 5: and entertaining?
- 8:54Speaker 1: I kind of get to show all of that per episode,
- 8:57Speaker 1: it feels like. Some episodes, you see the fashion. Some episodes,
- 9:00Speaker 1: you see the hosting and the tablescaping. And some episodes
- 9:04Speaker 1: you see the entertaining. I actually get to throw a
- 9:07Speaker 1: party this season, which is very exciting.
- 9:09Speaker 4: Wow.
- 9:10Speaker 1: My first one.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Are you cooking for this party?
- 9:13Speaker 1: Absolutely not.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Oh my God. You should showcase your cooking more on
- 9:18Speaker 3: the show.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Yeah, but this party scale, it was too large for
- 9:21Speaker 1: me to try to handle that planning.
- 9:23Speaker 4: Too much stress.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Yeah, no, it's too much stress at that point. And
- 9:27Speaker 1: my kitchen, I mean, I do have a very beautiful kitchen,
- 9:30Speaker 1: but it's not big enough for me to be able
- 9:31Speaker 1: to do that.
- 9:31Speaker 3: Yeah. Let's change gears and talk about Wittner for a second.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Okay.
- 9:36Speaker 3: He seems like the perfect Southern boy.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Yeah, he pretty much is.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Is he still single?
- 9:42Speaker 1: He, I think he's dating.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know.
- 9:48Speaker 1: I think he's dating. He's sweet though. He needs to
- 9:51Speaker 1: find someone that's like worth his time and deal with
- 9:54Speaker 1: him and all his fun antics that he loves to
- 9:57Speaker 1: get himself into.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Do you think that Wittner and Charlie were good additions
- 10:00Speaker 3: to the cast?
- 10:01Speaker 1: I do.
- 10:02Speaker 5: I do.
- 10:03Speaker 1: I wish Charlie would speak her mind a little bit
- 10:06Speaker 1: more on things that actually bother her. And I don't
- 10:09Speaker 1: think Wittner has a problem speaking his mind when things
- 10:11Speaker 1: bother him. So those two additions were great.
- 10:14Speaker 3: Have they announced the cast yet? Like, new people? Anything
- 10:17Speaker 3: like that? Nothing like that yet?
- 10:19Speaker 1: No.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Curious to see.
- 10:20Speaker 1: I know.
- 10:21Speaker 4: I'm curious to see who's back.
- 10:24Speaker 5: Is there like now that Charlie is not involved in
- 10:27Speaker 5: this Craig of it all, like is Charlie still there?
- 10:30Speaker 4: Are we still seeing her?
- 10:32Speaker 1: You'll still see Charlie. But again, she just needs to
- 10:36Speaker 1: be stronger in her voice if she wants to last longer.
- 10:41Speaker 5: One of my favorite things about Charlie is the meme
- 10:43Speaker 5: that they show of her.
- 10:45Speaker 4: Did you ever see it where she's.
- 10:46Speaker 3: Like going like, Oh, from the reunion?
- 10:49Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That was funny. She's so
- 10:53Speaker 1: drama and like are dramatic in that way. She makes
- 10:57Speaker 1: her good news, which is funny.
- 10:59Speaker 2: What are your feelings going into a reunion? Do you
- 11:03Speaker 2: enjoy them.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Or? You know, I think last year was actually the
- 11:09Speaker 1: first year I went into a reunion not terrified of
- 11:11Speaker 1: voicing my true opinion. So I think moving forward, that's
- 11:15Speaker 1: the mindset that I need to stay in because like,
- 11:17Speaker 1: I'll be honest, like I've been quiet for the last
- 11:18Speaker 1: few years. I kind of like just do just enough.
- 11:22Speaker 1: And I think last year was the year where I
- 11:23Speaker 1: was like, I can't do that anymore. Like everyone needs
- 11:26Speaker 1: to see the version of me that the girls like
- 11:28Speaker 1: Madison and Sally see behind closed doors. Yeah.
- 11:32Speaker 4: What do you think makes Madison who you're closest with?
- 11:36Speaker 1: Well, we're Lieber sisters. One, two, we have the, pretty
- 11:40Speaker 1: much grown up in this together. I knew Madison prior
- 11:43Speaker 1: to the show and we were always just such go-getters.
- 11:45Speaker 4: Oh, I didn't know that. How did you guys know
- 11:47Speaker 4: each other?
- 11:48Speaker 1: Madison actually did my hair and makeup when I was
- 11:51Speaker 1: like 19, I think for a fashion show. Oh my God.
- 11:54Speaker 1: And that's how I ended up meeting her. And, you know,
- 11:57Speaker 1: we've just watched each other grow, go through hardships and like,
- 12:00Speaker 1: you know, there's never going to be a world where
- 12:02Speaker 1: Madison and I aren't friends.
- 12:11Speaker 4: If you could be on any other Bravo show, what would.
- 12:15Speaker 3: It be?
- 12:15Speaker 1: Top Chef.
- 12:17Speaker 3: That would be great.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Smart.
- 12:18Speaker 4: Didn't have to think about that one.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Top Chef.
- 12:22Speaker 3: That would be a good one for you.
- 12:23Speaker 2: No, we loved you and Sierra, how you guys had
- 12:25Speaker 2: each other's back during your perspective, you know, seasons, the
- 12:28Speaker 2: drama and all that.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Are you close with her? You still speak with her?
- 12:32Speaker 1: I'm in her apartment right now, actually.
- 12:35Speaker 4: Are you in her apartment?
- 12:37Speaker 1: I'm literally in her apartment right now.
- 12:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Sierra is great. Sierra is the, which I always, she
- 12:45Speaker 1: carries herself so well. I always think she's older than me,
- 12:47Speaker 1: but she's younger than me, but she's just like the
- 12:50Speaker 1: sister that I never knew I needed.
- 12:52Speaker 4: Are you going to watch her on Dancing with the Stars?
- 12:54Speaker 1: Oh, are you kidding? I literally texted 40 people last
- 12:57Speaker 1: week and was like, hey, this is the number you
- 12:58Speaker 1: need to text. The limit is 10. Tell all your friends.
- 13:01Speaker 1: I was putting it on threads. Everyone show me that
- 13:05Speaker 1: you voted for Ciara. So yeah, we'll be voting for
- 13:08Speaker 1: her for sure.
- 13:08Speaker 3: Are you going to go see her in person?
- 13:10Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the goal. I'm trying to get out there
- 13:13Speaker 1: as soon as I can, but.
- 13:15Speaker 2: It's crazy to be there because I went for Phaedra
- 13:17Speaker 2: when she was on.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Oh, I love that.
- 13:19Speaker 3: And the stage is so small.
- 13:21Speaker 1: I was like wondering that because, you know, when you
- 13:24Speaker 1: watch something on TV, it just seems so larger than life.
- 13:26Speaker 4: Yeah, so grandiose.
- 13:28Speaker 1: How small is that stage?
- 13:30Speaker 3: It's small. It's like small.
- 13:33Speaker 2: And they have people that sit on the floor, then
- 13:36Speaker 2: people that sit up at tables. And they have like
- 13:39Speaker 2: a small stage. And then another stage, it's a little
- 13:42Speaker 2: bit elevated when I went. And I was just blown
- 13:45Speaker 2: away how small it is. And then if you're on
- 13:47Speaker 2: the floor, they have those cannons that blow, you know,
- 13:50Speaker 2: the confetti.
- 13:53Speaker 3: And if you're sitting by it and it goes off,
- 13:55Speaker 3: they warn you. But every time it goes off, you're like, oh, God.
- 13:58Speaker 2: You jump every single time because it's so loud.
- 14:01Speaker 1: That's insane.
- 14:04Speaker 5: And I also have to go back to summer house
- 14:06Speaker 5: for one second.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Yeah, let's do it. But you're going to ask about Carl. Yeah.
- 14:13Speaker 4: Wasn't an issue. Do you think you and Carla Carl
- 14:16Speaker 4: would have worked out?
- 14:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I think distance and timing was something that just
- 14:21Speaker 1: wasn't on our side. He's a great guy. He's super sweet,
- 14:25Speaker 1: really down to earth. And I think that if those
- 14:27Speaker 1: two variables weren't in the room, it probably would have
- 14:29Speaker 1: gone a little further. Yeah.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Would you ever show up to summer house for a weekend?
- 14:34Speaker 3: Something you want to do?
- 14:35Speaker 1: Have you done that before? Yeah, I did it five,
- 14:39Speaker 1: four years ago. Yeah, it was Kyle's birthday and that
- 14:44Speaker 1: was fun to see her actually invited me out and
- 14:46Speaker 1: it was a good time.
- 14:48Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, because you guys have known each other for
- 14:50Speaker 4: so long.
- 14:51Speaker 5: What would you say was like your breaking point, the
- 14:53Speaker 5: hardest thing you've ever had to film on Southern Charm?
- 15:01Speaker 1: Oh, I think it's actually going to be this season.
- 15:04Speaker 1: And it's between my mom and I. Oh, gosh. You know,
- 15:08Speaker 1: I'm a mama's girl through and through. But I hit
- 15:12Speaker 1: a point with her and expressed myself in a way
- 15:14Speaker 1: I probably shouldn't have. And that was pretty hard. It's
- 15:17Speaker 1: hard to think about. So I'm so curious to see
- 15:19Speaker 1: what that's going to play back like. Yeah.
- 15:22Speaker 5: And what's her kind of reaction when you're like that?
- 15:26Speaker 1: Quiet. She lets me like. have it, feel it, work
- 15:30Speaker 1: through it. And then obviously, you know, I have to
- 15:32Speaker 1: do the right thing and apologize. But I think in
- 15:34Speaker 1: that moment, she was pretty shocked. So. Oh boy.
- 15:37Speaker 3: Oh boy. She's good at grounding you though.
- 15:42Speaker 1: She is. And I'm such a mama's girl. So I'm like, damn,
- 15:44Speaker 1: I wish I didn't do that, but it's fine.
- 15:48Speaker 3: I'm so excited that your mom's going to be on more.
- 15:49Speaker 2: It's like, you know how certain shows like Housewives and stuff,
- 15:52Speaker 2: there's certain moms that just like really stick out.
- 15:55Speaker 3: We need more.
- 15:56Speaker 1: We need more. Yeah, she's definitely, we need more of her.
- 15:59Speaker 1: So I was very excited that I was able to
- 16:00Speaker 1: film with her a whole lot more this season.
- 16:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:04Speaker 3: What can we expect from season 12 newbies? Do you
- 16:08Speaker 3: get some good ones?
- 16:09Speaker 1: A lot of drama.
- 16:10Speaker 4: A lot of drama.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Yeah. Drama in almost every friend group.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Do you find it hard to get newbies on your
- 16:17Speaker 2: show because the show has been around for so long
- 16:19Speaker 2: and people have expectations and they've watched it and they
- 16:22Speaker 2: come in and they either try too hard or.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Yeah. And this group isn't an easy group to like
- 16:27Speaker 1: get in with. Like, I feel like even for myself,
- 16:30Speaker 1: like me being that I was friends with some of
- 16:32Speaker 1: them before this even started for me, even that was hard.
- 16:35Speaker 1: It was so hard for me. They were like giving
- 16:37Speaker 1: me the hardest time. Sometimes they wouldn't film with me,
- 16:40Speaker 1: you know? So this group is really hard to get into. Yeah. Yeah.
- 16:44Speaker 5: Oh, because they won't film with you because they don't
- 16:46Speaker 5: want to lose the attention of things being on them?
- 16:51Speaker 1: Either that or they just don't want the newbies in.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Or they want to test how far the newbies are
- 16:55Speaker 1: willing to go to show that they belong here. That's crazy.
- 17:02Speaker 5: And then when you are there all in a big group,
- 17:05Speaker 5: do they try to block the newbies out from sharing
- 17:08Speaker 5: or getting involved in the mix?
- 17:10Speaker 1: No, not too much. Once the newbies have kind of
- 17:13Speaker 1: like made their standing they're like okay whatever like you're
- 17:16Speaker 1: here yeah.
- 17:18Speaker 2: They yeah last season was a little bit hard for
- 17:20Speaker 2: you when going into filming this season do you approach
- 17:23Speaker 2: it differently like do you look back do you let
- 17:26Speaker 2: people's comments on instagram affect you or change your mind
- 17:30Speaker 2: or your personality on the show.
- 17:32Speaker 1: No no no no and like that was so refreshing
- 17:35Speaker 1: to have that mindset going into filming the new season
- 17:38Speaker 1: i was like i don't care like people want to
- 17:39Speaker 1: talk anyway but it takes a really long time to
- 17:42Speaker 1: get there. And I feel like people don't talk about
- 17:43Speaker 1: that enough. Yeah. Like you just don't walk in like, Oh,
- 17:47Speaker 1: I don't care what people have to say. No, you do.
- 17:50Speaker 1: You absolutely do. Yeah, you do. And sometimes like it
- 17:53Speaker 1: takes you a while to get over it. But once
- 17:54Speaker 1: you get to the point where it's like, they're going
- 17:57Speaker 1: to talk regardless, doesn't really matter what they say. I
- 18:00Speaker 1: still have my job and you're still watching from the couch, babe.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Like we're not the same.
- 18:03Speaker 3: Yeah. Do you read the comments?
- 18:06Speaker 1: Not anymore. There was a time there that I couldn't
- 18:09Speaker 1: get off of Reddit.
- 18:13Speaker 4: And that's the most dangerous one.
- 18:14Speaker 3: I rarely go on Reddit. Isn't it like more toxic
- 18:17Speaker 3: than Instagram?
- 18:18Speaker 1: It's the most toxic place in the whole world. And like,
- 18:21Speaker 1: there was just this era where I like could not
- 18:24Speaker 1: stop reading. I think I was only two years in. Again,
- 18:28Speaker 1: I had never been on a platform so large and
- 18:31Speaker 1: I was just like, you know, at one point it
- 18:34Speaker 1: was like disbelief. The other half was like, well, damn,
- 18:36Speaker 1: like what can I do to change myself? Right.
- 18:39Speaker 5: Right.
- 18:39Speaker 3: That's kind of what I was talking about earlier. It's like,
- 18:42Speaker 3: do you change?
- 18:43Speaker 2: But you also can see yourself from the outside and go, well,
- 18:45Speaker 2: you know what? I really don't like that about myself.
- 18:48Speaker 2: So maybe I will change that.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 18:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Or there's cast members that see themselves and they're assholes
- 18:54Speaker 2: and they just don't care.
- 18:57Speaker 3: It's either a learning lesson or you're.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Just like, whatever. Like who cares? Like moving on.
- 19:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:03Speaker 5: We don't ever like to say Mary fuck killed, but
- 19:06Speaker 5: we will say Mary fuck.
- 19:08Speaker 4: Never see again.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Come on.
- 19:10Speaker 4: But we got, we got, Austin, we've got Shep, and
- 19:15Speaker 4: we've got Craig.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Oh, okay. Oh, my God. Mary, Austin, never see again, Shep.
- 19:32Speaker 4: Never see again, Shep. You know I grew up with Shep.
- 19:35Speaker 1: I love Shep, but you put me in a very
- 19:37Speaker 1: hard place with those three boys just now.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Yeah, you could have thrown JT in there.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, like make it a little easier for me.
- 19:43Speaker 1: But no, Shep's great. He was actually one of the
- 19:46Speaker 1: nicest people to me outside of Madison when I started filming.
- 19:49Speaker 1: like was trying to like show me the robes tell
- 19:52Speaker 1: me little things on the side.
- 19:53Speaker 2: He's sweet so so Teddy grew up with Shep no
- 19:56Speaker 2: way yes and it's so funny because I always make
- 20:00Speaker 2: a joke to Shep because.
- 20:02Speaker 4: Like on on when you're watching Southern Charm he's like
- 20:04Speaker 4: kind of this heartthrob But like growing up, it was
- 20:08Speaker 4: not like that.
- 20:09Speaker 3: What was he like? What was Shep like growing up?
- 20:11Speaker 5: Like, I mean, the one thing I can say about
- 20:14Speaker 5: Shep is his parents are amazing.
- 20:16Speaker 1: They're so sweet.
- 20:17Speaker 4: They're amazing.
- 20:18Speaker 5: They're so much fun. Shep was so fun, but he
- 20:20Speaker 5: was like such a sensitive guy. Like he's yeah. Like
- 20:24Speaker 5: such a sensitive guy. Like if he liked a girl,
- 20:26Speaker 5: he'd ask you advice. He was like so kind and caring.
- 20:30Speaker 1: And you know, he still does that.
- 20:32Speaker 4: He does.
- 20:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:33Speaker 1: If he still does that with the group, he'll be like, Oh,
- 20:35Speaker 1: like I kind of like this girl. Like, what do
- 20:36Speaker 1: you guys think? Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Like he's
- 20:38Speaker 1: still into that way. Especially if he's really into somebody,
- 20:40Speaker 1: he still does that. Yeah.
- 20:42Speaker 4: Well, I mean, he was funny.
- 20:43Speaker 5: He ended up going to boarding school after, but he
- 20:45Speaker 5: would still come home and they'd have like their annual
- 20:47Speaker 5: Christmas parties.
- 20:48Speaker 4: And I remember you'd be like, fingers crossed that you
- 20:51Speaker 4: were on the list.
- 20:52Speaker 3: Oh really? Did you go Teddy? Every year.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Yes.
- 20:56Speaker 5: And that's like, well, cause he has like an older
- 20:58Speaker 5: sister and then he has his younger brother Whitaker and
- 21:01Speaker 5: And so, like, it kind of went through my entire
- 21:04Speaker 5: friend group.
- 21:04Speaker 4: We all, we met one of the siblings' criterias.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Oh, wow. Okay, perfect. So everyone was able to get in.
- 21:12Speaker 4: Everybody was able to get in.
- 21:13Speaker 5: We heard a rumor that Taylor is back.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Whoop, whoop.
- 21:20Speaker 4: I love when your, your tail is pretty easy with
- 21:23Speaker 4: your eyes.
- 21:23Speaker 1: I mean, I don't have a, I don't have a
- 21:25Speaker 1: poker face. I will never try and sit here and
- 21:27Speaker 1: say that I have one. I absolutely don't. Yeah. She
- 21:30Speaker 1: makes an appearance, which is a lot of, it was,
- 21:33Speaker 1: it's fun to have her back and making small appearances.
- 21:36Speaker 3: So refresh my memory. Taylor was the one that was
- 21:38Speaker 3: dating Sally's ex.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Correct. Gaston. Yes.
- 21:43Speaker 3: So I was with Sally in Napa and.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Or San Francisco.
- 21:48Speaker 2: I can't remember when the news broke that he cheated
- 21:51Speaker 2: on her and she's like, I knew it.
- 21:55Speaker 1: I knew it.
- 21:56Speaker 3: I told her so.
- 21:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:58Speaker 1: He just wasn't a good man.
- 22:00Speaker 4: Did you have that feeling immediately?
- 22:02Speaker 1: What that Gaston was going to cheat on Taylor or
- 22:05Speaker 1: that Sally was right?
- 22:07Speaker 5: Both.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Both. Uh, yeah. Like I texted Sally, like when I
- 22:11Speaker 1: saw that and I was like, damn, like you were
- 22:12Speaker 1: really were right with this. Um, But honestly, I didn't
- 22:17Speaker 1: see it coming from the two Gaston and Taylor. Like
- 22:20Speaker 1: he seemed to be so infatuated by her that it
- 22:22Speaker 1: was just like he wouldn't do that to her, especially
- 22:25Speaker 1: knowing how hard the breakup was for Taylor and Shep.
- 22:29Speaker 1: You just didn't think that he was going to turn
- 22:31Speaker 1: around and basically do the same damn thing to her.
- 22:33Speaker 3: Once a cheater, always a cheater, they say.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Yeah. You can't change them. Yeah.
- 22:39Speaker 5: And I think, you know, you add the reality TV
- 22:42Speaker 5: and you also add in social media and being in
- 22:46Speaker 5: the public. And no matter how much somebody says they're
- 22:49Speaker 5: not interested in being in TV, being on TV, they
- 22:53Speaker 5: are like, then you wouldn't be dating a public person.
- 22:57Speaker 1: They are. But like, we never, we never saw him, uh,
- 23:01Speaker 1: when she was on a full time, we never saw him.
- 23:03Speaker 4: So what's worse?
- 23:06Speaker 5: Getting chickens for a man or getting a shark tooth
- 23:09Speaker 5: necklace as a gift.
- 23:12Speaker 1: They're both pretty damn horrible.
- 23:15Speaker 4: I got the shark tooth, by the way. Shep sent
- 23:17Speaker 4: it to me.
- 23:20Speaker 1: He has the, okay, the right, the action is there.
- 23:25Speaker 1: We have to switch the gift. Yes. We have the gift,
- 23:30Speaker 1: like the action is there. It's a nice, thoughtful thing
- 23:33Speaker 1: to do. Get someone a gift of something that It
- 23:36Speaker 1: makes you happy and share it with someone else. But
- 23:37Speaker 1: we have to switch the gift.
- 23:39Speaker 4: The shark tooth is like this big too. It's not
- 23:41Speaker 4: like a massive. It's a massive shark tooth.
- 23:44Speaker 3: Where is your shark tooth?
- 23:47Speaker 1: I think I wore it when.
- 23:48Speaker 4: I did the podcast with Shep. I don't have it
- 23:49Speaker 4: on right now.
- 23:50Speaker 3: You don't ever wear it. I wore it when I.
- 23:53Speaker 5: Was on a podcast with Shep just to make sure
- 23:55Speaker 5: he saw that it was there. And then the shark
- 23:57Speaker 5: tooth sold out because people wanted to know.
- 24:01Speaker 4: Tap the link.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Well, there you go.
- 24:02Speaker 1: I love that.
- 24:04Speaker 3: There you go.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Now, what's something people misunderstand about you? Is there like
- 24:09Speaker 2: a misconception that you're like.
- 24:11Speaker 3: I'm so tired of hearing this. I am not like that.
- 24:14Speaker 1: I don't know. I feel like I see a lot
- 24:21Speaker 1: of shit that doesn't add up when I'm like reading
- 24:24Speaker 1: comments and stuff of like, oh, she does this, she's that.
- 24:27Speaker 1: And I'm just like, guys, like you only see me
- 24:28Speaker 1: for three minutes. Like you don't even know me. Yeah.
- 24:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:31Speaker 1: I think that's the biggest thing is like, I try
- 24:33Speaker 1: not to dwell on that because at this point I
- 24:34Speaker 1: understand that like you see me for seven minutes and
- 24:38Speaker 1: an hour long episode. Right.
- 24:40Speaker 4: That makes sense.
- 24:41Speaker 5: There's a lot more that goes into it and you
- 24:43Speaker 5: think there's a lot more that's going to be shown.
- 24:45Speaker 2: So other than the show and sub stack, are you
- 24:49Speaker 2: doing like you were modeling, um, beauty influencer?
- 24:53Speaker 3: Are you still doing that as well?
- 24:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:55Speaker 1: So doing a lot of that. I'm actually in New
- 24:57Speaker 1: York for the week right now to speak on something
- 25:00Speaker 1: fashion related with Coach and Meta on Wednesday. So that'll
- 25:03Speaker 1: be a good time.
- 25:03Speaker 3: Oh, that's exciting.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Do you have like a, what's your current favorite fashion
- 25:07Speaker 2: or beauty find?
- 25:11Speaker 1: I purchased a poochie bag from a small vintage shop
- 25:15Speaker 1: here in New York for like $ 300. Cause they don't
- 25:17Speaker 1: really make bags. They don't really make unique bags anymore
- 25:21Speaker 1: so when I saw that I was like I have
- 25:22Speaker 1: to get it um and beauty wise I've been using
- 25:25Speaker 1: Krylon like the setting spray it's what all the drag
- 25:27Speaker 1: queens use your makeup does not move oh.
- 25:30Speaker 2: I use the at all two I think it's two
- 25:32Speaker 2: pink bottle the name is again.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Um it's Krylon it comes in a blue bottle um
- 25:39Speaker 1: and like I mean your face is stuck all day
- 25:42Speaker 1: like I won't have to touch my makeup up for
- 25:43Speaker 1: like 10.
- 25:44Speaker 5: Hours That's amazing because I feel like no matter what,
- 25:49Speaker 5: I get stuff underneath my eyes.
- 25:51Speaker 4: It's always dripping.
- 25:53Speaker 1: It's worth it.
- 25:53Speaker 4: What would you say your superpower is?
- 25:56Speaker 1: My superpower is the ability to bring warmth to any situation.
- 26:05Speaker 4: That's a good one. You know what? I cannot say
- 26:07Speaker 4: the same for myself.
- 26:12Speaker 1: That is so funny.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Do you ever think like, I don't want to do
- 26:23Speaker 2: this anymore when it comes to like reality TV? Do
- 26:25Speaker 2: you ever get to that point where you're like, I
- 26:27Speaker 2: just don't know if I can do it. I just
- 26:28Speaker 2: don't want to do it anymore.
- 26:29Speaker 3: Or do you think like.
- 26:30Speaker 1: No, I actually really love it. Oh, good. Yeah. Like
- 26:34Speaker 1: I actually really, really love it. And if you would
- 26:37Speaker 1: have asked me that like three years ago, I'd have
- 26:39Speaker 1: been like, yeah, there's no way I can push through.
- 26:41Speaker 1: And I actually, after my first year, I actually almost
- 26:45Speaker 1: stopped and it was Sutton Strack who told me to
- 26:48Speaker 1: like keep going.
- 26:49Speaker 4: Really?
- 26:51Speaker 1: Yeah, she was on my flight home from New York.
- 26:54Speaker 1: And I saw her with my then boyfriend at the
- 26:57Speaker 1: time in the airport. I was like, Oh my god,
- 26:58Speaker 1: that's something like I have to say something. I'm too nervous.
- 27:00Speaker 1: I didn't long story short, we landed at the Charleston airport.
- 27:03Speaker 1: And I finally got the balls to go up to her.
- 27:06Speaker 1: And she was like, I've.
- 27:06Speaker 3: Been sending you DMS and trying to get to you.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Like, I've been trying to talk to you this whole time.
- 27:10Speaker 1: And I looked at her and I was like, I
- 27:11Speaker 1: don't think I can do this anymore. And she was like,
- 27:14Speaker 1: we're two Southern girls, we can do anything. And I
- 27:15Speaker 1: was like, okay. She was like, you just can't let
- 27:17Speaker 1: them win. You gotta keep going. And I kept going,
- 27:20Speaker 1: you know. But I was this close.
- 27:23Speaker 4: This close.
- 27:25Speaker 5: If you weren't on Southern Charm, do you think that
- 27:28Speaker 5: you'd still live in Charleston?
- 27:31Speaker 1: Yes. Yeah. There's something about Charleston. I'm not, well, a
- 27:35Speaker 1: lot of people are going to be mad at this,
- 27:36Speaker 1: but I'm the only one on the show born and
- 27:37Speaker 1: raised from Charleston, South Carolina. So that's home.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Yeah. Oh, I didn't know that.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:44Speaker 5: That makes sense because everyone kind of tries to pretend
- 27:46Speaker 5: they're all from there.
- 27:47Speaker 1: And they're not.
- 27:49Speaker 4: They're not.
- 27:51Speaker 3: It's like the Beverly Hills housewives. None of them live
- 27:54Speaker 3: in Beverly Hills.
- 27:55Speaker 5: No.
- 27:56Speaker 3: Sutton did.
- 27:57Speaker 1: She did. Yeah, Sutton did. She moved, right?
- 28:00Speaker 3: She sold her house?
- 28:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I think she sold her. So I don't think
- 28:03Speaker 4: she's in Beverly Hills anymore.
- 28:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:06Speaker 3: You don't think what?
- 28:07Speaker 1: I don't know if the house is sold yet. I
- 28:11Speaker 1: don't know.
- 28:11Speaker 4: Well, because it's on a main road.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Oh. No, I would love to have a $ 9 million
- 28:16Speaker 1: main road home. Yeah.
- 28:18Speaker 5: I mean, I'd love to have a $ 9 million period.
- 28:21Speaker 1: I'd love to have a $ 9 million home. I don't
- 28:23Speaker 1: care if it's in a jungle. I don't care. You know?
- 28:26Speaker 1: It's $ 9 million.
- 28:27Speaker 4: Who was it that said that quote, that she lives
- 28:29Speaker 4: on a main road? Who was that?
- 28:32Speaker 1: Oh, Dorit.
- 28:33Speaker 4: Oh, that makes sense. That tracks.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:35Speaker 4: Do you watch all the franchises?
- 28:37Speaker 1: No, I watched Beverly Hills, Potomac, Atlanta. Uh, obviously summer house,
- 28:42Speaker 1: which isn't a housewife franchise. Um, Salt Lake city. I
- 28:46Speaker 1: like I'm in and out of Salt Lake, but this
- 28:48Speaker 1: season they got me.
- 28:49Speaker 5: Do you think that the relationship between Heather Gay and
- 28:52Speaker 5: her new boyfriend slash past boyfriend is real?
- 28:57Speaker 4: We can't decide.
- 28:58Speaker 1: I can't tell.
- 28:59Speaker 2: A lot of people are reporting that it doesn't, it
- 29:02Speaker 2: looks fake. And I thought like we were just being
- 29:04Speaker 2: assholes saying that, but you know, the camera doesn't lie.
- 29:08Speaker 1: It really doesn't. It doesn't. You can see things. I
- 29:14Speaker 1: can't really tell. But if it is, you've got to
- 29:17Speaker 1: fake it a little better.
- 29:18Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 29:18Speaker 5: It just seemed everything was too put together for me.
- 29:23Speaker 5: Like the matching, you know, helmets, the conversation with the,
- 29:28Speaker 5: are you a Swifty?
- 29:30Speaker 4: Like all of those things.
- 29:32Speaker 1: She's trying to come across as the perfect couple, you know?
- 29:35Speaker 5: And whenever you're trying to do that, I mean, speaking
- 29:37Speaker 5: from experience, you ain't the perfect.
- 29:40Speaker 4: Couple.
- 29:40Speaker 1: No, it's not going to go over well. Like, baby,
- 29:42Speaker 1: everyone's going to see straight through that. Yeah.
- 29:44Speaker 2: Are you excited for Potomac to come back?
- 29:46Speaker 1: I'm so excited. I'm very excited.
- 29:49Speaker 3: They would have been excited.
- 29:50Speaker 1: I'm so excited. I'm hoping that the Grand Dame is
- 29:53Speaker 1: back too. Is she back? Yes, she is back.
- 29:57Speaker 4: She didn't do Pearl's trip. because she was working on
- 30:00Speaker 4: her sobriety, but she's back for this season, which I
- 30:04Speaker 4: cannot wait.
- 30:05Speaker 1: She's a mess. She's spicy.
- 30:08Speaker 5: And I think we're going to see a different side
- 30:09Speaker 5: of her because she's not with Ray anymore.
- 30:12Speaker 3: She's split up.
- 30:13Speaker 4: They split up.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Wait, I don't think I knew that.
- 30:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:17Speaker 1: What?
- 30:19Speaker 3: She says it in the premiere, but nothing else has
- 30:22Speaker 3: been said about it. Like in the teaser episode, Yeah.
- 30:25Speaker 1: I was going to say that was pretty hush. Even
- 30:27Speaker 1: when the teaser came on, I feel like it didn't
- 30:28Speaker 1: really like, it didn't really get much traction.
- 30:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Yeah. No.
- 30:32Speaker 4: So we'll see. Who's on your housewives mouth. Mount Rushmore.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Portia. Yeah.
- 30:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Sure.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Putting the girl on the spot, Teddy.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Yeah. Damn. That's fine. I kind of like that. So Portia. Yeah.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Mary Crosby. Yeah.
- 30:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Kim Richards. But I love Ariana Sweet. I got to
- 31:04Speaker 1: hang out with her last week, but who else?
- 31:11Speaker 4: I need one more.
- 31:12Speaker 1: One more.
- 31:15Speaker 3: Atlanta, somebody, Potomac, Salt Lake. Oh, you did Mary.
- 31:19Speaker 1: I did Mary from Salt Lake. New York? New York? No.
- 31:26Speaker 1: I don't know. No Mount Rushmore from those movies.
- 31:29Speaker 3: Orange County? I know you don't watch that.
- 31:31Speaker 1: No, I don't. But who's the cutie with the brunette one?
- 31:37Speaker 1: She's kind of messy, though. On what show? The husband's
- 31:41Speaker 1: the plastic surgeon.
- 31:43Speaker 3: Heather Dubrow, Kim Richards, Portia.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Who else? There's another one. Oh, Mary Cosby.
- 31:51Speaker 4: Mary Cosby.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:52Speaker 3: There you go.
- 31:54Speaker 5: I mean, how emotional was that first episode dealing with?
- 31:59Speaker 1: I was just crying the whole time. I don't know
- 32:02Speaker 1: how she was able to do that. Like when you're
- 32:05Speaker 1: in this, there's, you know, there's some things that you
- 32:07Speaker 1: kind of want to protect from the world being able
- 32:10Speaker 1: to have an opinion on. And like, yeah, for her
- 32:13Speaker 1: to be so open from like day one with what
- 32:16Speaker 1: he was going through. And then the share that with
- 32:18Speaker 1: the world. Like I get the chills just thinking about it.
- 32:22Speaker 3: So heartbreaking.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:25Speaker 3: So heartbreaking.
- 32:26Speaker 5: And then just to finish up a little bit on
- 32:28Speaker 5: Southern Charm, if you had other than to say that
- 32:32Speaker 5: you guys are all in, you know, you've had some
- 32:35Speaker 5: conflict and resolution and that you feel good going into
- 32:39Speaker 5: the reunion.
- 32:40Speaker 4: Is there anything that would like shock us?
- 32:42Speaker 5: You don't have to tell us what it is, but like,
- 32:44Speaker 5: is there a pivotal moment that somebody shocked you?
- 32:49Speaker 1: Yes. And it's going to happen towards the end of
- 32:53Speaker 1: the season.
- 32:55Speaker 4: Is it a guy or a girl?
- 32:56Speaker 1: Well, I can't give that away.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Does her name start with W? No, I'm just kidding.
- 33:05Speaker 4: Or a C.
- 33:06Speaker 1: No, I can't give that away.
- 33:09Speaker 3: Oh, my God. Well, thank you so much for being
- 33:12Speaker 3: on today. We really appreciate it.
- 33:13Speaker 2: And we're so excited. We can't wait to hear Air Date.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Hoping trailer comes out soon.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Fingers crossed.
- 33:19Speaker 5: And how do people follow you on Substack? How does
- 33:22Speaker 5: that work exactly?
- 33:24Speaker 1: They can subscribe to the Substack channel, seasonedweekly.substack.com. Outside of that,
- 33:29Speaker 1: everything else is at Vanita Aspin. From YouTube to websites
- 33:34Speaker 1: to threads. I'm a menace on threads. I'm sure you
- 33:38Speaker 1: girls have seen. I'm a menace on threads.
- 33:39Speaker 5: I don't even barely have threads.
- 33:44Speaker 4: No, I wish I need to see some of your
- 33:46Speaker 4: menace behavior.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Oh, I'm the worst on threads. It's my favorite. For now,
- 33:50Speaker 1: it's my favorite. So the show here is when people
- 33:52Speaker 1: find out that they can attack me on there, then
- 33:53Speaker 1: I'm out. But Threads is fun.
- 33:55Speaker 3: Well, Threads has really taken off.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Yeah, it has. I see you on Threads.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. I mean, the owner of Threads did a
- 34:03Speaker 2: great promotional for a lot of people's posts all the time.
- 34:08Speaker 3: And now it's like it's enjoyable.
- 34:10Speaker 4: It is.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Yeah, it really is.
- 34:11Speaker 3: At first, it was like, oh, one more social media platform.
- 34:14Speaker 1: That's what I said, too. But then I deleted Twitter
- 34:17Speaker 1: so long ago that I was just like, oh, I
- 34:19Speaker 1: don't mind having this. It's going to feel similar. Yeah.
- 34:22Speaker 1: But Threads is a much calmer place than Twitter. Yeah. Yeah.
- 34:26Speaker 4: Thank God.
- 34:27Speaker 3: Well, thank you again. And can't wait for your season.
- 34:30Speaker 3: You have to come back when you're in the heat
- 34:32Speaker 3: of things and chat with us.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Because you guys are asking the hard questions.
- 34:35Speaker 3: And I like that.
- 34:35Speaker 1: I feel like I kind of always get the easy ones.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:39Speaker 4: And believe me, we'll have harder ones once we know
- 34:40Speaker 4: what's going on.
- 34:41Speaker 1: Yeah. Perfect.
- 34:43Speaker 4: Awesome.
- 34:45Speaker 1: Thank you, girls.
- 34:46Speaker 3: It was nice to see you.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Thank you so much. Bye. Bye.
- 34:49Speaker 4: Thanks, guys, for tuning in for another episode of The
- 34:51Speaker 4: Twat Seat.
- 34:52Speaker 5: We are so happy that Vanita came on, and we
- 34:55Speaker 5: cannot wait for the next season of Southern Charm to start.
