- 0:00Speaker 1: We have a question for you, and you know we
- 0:02Speaker 1: will not judge anybody here, but as a relationship you've
- 0:06Speaker 1: been in ever broken up because of how the person sleeps,
- 0:11Speaker 1: because this is a real big problem.
- 0:13Speaker 2: I should have laughed, but it's so well.
- 0:15Speaker 1: You found a solution, Christine, sort of, and I found
- 0:18Speaker 1: a solution. I found the right partner because I do
- 0:21Speaker 1: know I snore.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Coco loves you snores and all.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Yep, And I think it helps that she's such a
- 0:26Speaker 1: deep sleeper that sometimes she'll never even say anything.
- 0:29Speaker 2: That's what's working for you.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Right right, and what is your solution.
- 0:33Speaker 2: I'm a light sleeper, hence the snore bed. So what
- 0:38Speaker 2: Eric and I have done is in the spare bedroom,
- 0:40Speaker 2: we've got the snore bed, and that's where he goes
- 0:42Speaker 2: when the snoring's out of control. Tosses and turns and
- 0:45Speaker 2: plays the drums in his sleep. So there's a few
- 0:47Speaker 2: things going on.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Well do you nudge him so when you know the
- 0:51Speaker 1: snoring is ramping up and it's time for the snore bed?
- 0:53Speaker 2: Is it like just an we He kind of knows
- 0:56Speaker 2: like if he goes onto his back, the snoring gets worse.
- 0:58Speaker 2: I think most snores know that right, Like if you
- 1:01Speaker 2: lay on your side, there's a chance you can get
- 1:03Speaker 2: through the night together. But once you go to your back,
- 1:06Speaker 2: snoring gets really bad. There's all stuff like he's got
- 1:09Speaker 2: stuff on his nose and his mouth. He tries everything.
- 1:12Speaker 2: We just we can't fight it.
- 1:13Speaker 1: So canny by the way, before I'm sure he would be,
- 1:16Speaker 1: I am, and I gave up on it.
- 1:17Speaker 2: He won't go for the study.
- 1:19Speaker 1: I went for the study and I got the whole
- 1:21Speaker 1: machine and everything. Yeah, but I got so frustrated with it.
- 1:24Speaker 1: I sent it back.
- 1:25Speaker 2: It's like a Darth Vader kind of mask and correct and.
- 1:29Speaker 1: You're supposed to get quote used to it. I never did.
- 1:32Speaker 1: And then I just would throw it off every night.
- 1:34Speaker 1: And I probably should technically still be doing it.
- 1:36Speaker 2: But yeah, it's like a health issue. But yeah. Twenty
- 1:40Speaker 2: three percent of people in a very recent survey said
- 1:42Speaker 2: they've actually broken up with someone because of their annoying
- 1:46Speaker 2: sleep habits. Number one was snoring, tossing and turning, stealing
- 1:50Speaker 2: the covers, watching TV well in bed. I cannot. I
- 1:53Speaker 2: must be a pain in the neck coven because I
- 1:55Speaker 2: can't tolerate that either. Even if the sound is down,
- 1:58Speaker 2: I hate because the like, yeah, I can't sleep and.
- 2:01Speaker 1: I can't fall asleep with the TV on it all
- 2:03Speaker 1: even a little bit because if you hear the volume,
- 2:06Speaker 1: some people fall asleep with the volume off.
- 2:08Speaker 2: I know. I don't get that, Like it's a comfort.
- 2:10Speaker 2: It's not white noise to me, not to me.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, I pick up on a storyline and I go.
- 2:14Speaker 2: You start listening, like what people get annoyed if you
- 2:18Speaker 2: get up to use the bathroom in the middle of
- 2:20Speaker 2: the night, eating in bed, listening to music while in bed,
- 2:23Speaker 2: sleep talking, and sleep walking. There you go most annoying
- 2:27Speaker 2: sleep habits, and you've actually broken up with someone over it.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean there were times where you take that
- 2:32Speaker 1: I was dating somebody and you would take that first
- 2:34Speaker 1: trip with them somewhere, and that's when you really find
- 2:37Speaker 1: out the snoring.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Habits, find out a lot uh huh.
- 2:41Speaker 1: And some relationships don't go past that first weekend getaway.
- 2:44Speaker 2: I've always said like that. You know, you're all excited
- 2:47Speaker 2: about somebody beginning of a relationship and you're like, let's
- 2:49Speaker 2: go away together. Please wait like at least six months
- 2:52Speaker 2: before you do that.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Good call.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, because that'll make or break you if you.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Can text us, we'd love to hear from you if
- 2:59Speaker 1: sleeping habits have broken up our relationship. We're at four four,
