Kraken Name New Alternate Captains | Seattle Kraken News
Seattle Kraken announce Vince Dunn and Brandon Montour as new alternate captains for the 2026-27 season, stepping into roles left vacant after Jaden Schwartz and Yanni Gourde’s departures. Both leaders bring championship pedigree—Dunn with the Blues in 2019, Montour with the Panthers in 2024—and deep locker room credibility. With veteran captain Jordan Eberle and current alternates Matty Beniers and Adam Larsson, the Kraken are building a seasoned leadership core to set the tone early as they hit the ice for their first practice on September 17th.
