Speaker 1: It was faith that strengthened the Minutemen and who stood
• 0:05
Speaker 1: up at Lexington Green and Concord Bridge in Philadelphia two
• 0:09
Speaker 1: hundred and fifty years ago. Our founders, the Creator four
• 0:12
Speaker 1: times and the Declaration of Independence four times. I wasn't
• 0:16
Speaker 1: mentioned once. I'm very upset. Not once.
• 0:21
Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
• 0:25
Speaker 3: Good Monday morning. Nice to have you with us on
• 0:26
Speaker 3: the forty seven Morning Updating, and we've got one big
• 0:29
Speaker 3: story for you. Deportations. They are way up in twenty
• 0:33
Speaker 3: twenty six, and the stats now show that within weeks
• 0:36
Speaker 3: we will actually outpace the total number of deportations in
• 0:40
Speaker 3: twenty twenty five. So how is this actually happening? The
• 0:44
Speaker 3: man in charge of the Department of Own Security, he
• 0:47
Speaker 3: explains it. All the sakes right now could not be higher.
• 0:51
Speaker 3: We finally have a president and administration fighting hard for
• 0:54
Speaker 3: America first. But if conservatives lose focus now, the same
• 0:58
Speaker 3: people who created this mess were already in waiting to
• 1:01
Speaker 3: resume their destructive progressive agendas. And protecting this momentum takes
• 1:06
Speaker 3: more than just votes. It takes everyday Americans like you
• 1:09
Speaker 3: staying in the fight for our rights and our freedoms.
• 1:13
Speaker 3: And that's why more and more people I know are
• 1:16
Speaker 3: switching to Patriot Mobile, America's only Christian conservative wireless provider.
• 1:22
Speaker 3: Patriot Mobile offers premium priority nationwide service on all three
• 1:27
Speaker 3: major US networks, unlimited data plans, mobile hotspots, international roaming,
• 1:33
Speaker 3: and one hundred percent US based customer support. And you
• 1:37
Speaker 3: can switch in minutes while keeping your phone and your number.
• 1:41
Speaker 3: And I know it because when I made the switch,
• 1:43
Speaker 3: it literally took me minutes to accomplish that goal. And
• 1:46
Speaker 3: unlike other carriers, Patriot Mobile puts your money towards causes
• 1:51
Speaker 3: defending faith, family, and freedom. That's why I love them.
• 1:55
Speaker 3: They contribute literally millions each year to organizations on the
• 1:59
Speaker 3: front lines fighting for God given rights. Patriot Mobile isn't
• 2:04
Speaker 3: just talking about saving America. They're putting their business behind
• 2:08
Speaker 3: the fight every single day. So don't wait, join the
• 2:12
Speaker 3: movement and make a difference. Go to Patriot Mobile dot
• 2:16
Speaker 3: com slash ben forty seven or call ninety seven two Patriot.
• 2:22
Speaker 3: If you use the promo code ben forty seven, you'll
• 2:25
Speaker 3: get a free month of service. That's Patriot Mobile dot
• 2:29
Speaker 3: com slash ben forty seven or ninety seven to Patriot
• 2:33
Speaker 3: and make that switch today. It's the forty seven Morning
• 2:36
Speaker 3: Update and it starts right now.
• 2:39
  Speaker 2: Story number one.
• 2:40
Speaker 3: Secretary and the man who's in charge of the Department
• 2:43
Speaker 3: of Homeland Security, former Senator Mullen. It says at the
• 2:48
Speaker 3: one hundred day mark, as the man in charge, the
• 2:51
Speaker 3: Secretary of the Department Home in Security, the deportations are
• 2:55
Speaker 3: way up. Twenty twenty six stats set to outpace. He says,
• 2:59
Speaker 3: well paid passed the twenty twenty five numbers. That obviously
• 3:05
Speaker 3: is good news if you are in favor of law
• 3:07
Speaker 3: and order. Now, the Secretary of Homeland Security Mark Waynmullen
• 3:11
Speaker 3: saying exclusively to Brightbart News the deportation numbers in twenty
• 3:15
Speaker 3: twenty six will very soon outpace all of twenty twenty five. Yeah,
• 3:20
Speaker 3: look at your calendar. You can see that. You better
• 3:22
Speaker 3: believe it. This is more than last year. Basically halfway
• 3:26
Speaker 3: through the year. He also went on to say that
• 3:29
Speaker 3: agents from across the Department of Homeland Security are removing
• 3:32
Speaker 3: illegal aliens from the United States Interior at a record
• 3:36
Speaker 3: rate we've never seen. Quote, we are on a path
• 3:39
Speaker 3: this year twenty six to well pass what we did
• 3:42
Speaker 3: in twenty five. I mean, our numbers are in fact
• 3:45
Speaker 3: within I'd say probably within the next six weeks, will
• 3:49
Speaker 3: probably pass what we deported in all of twenty twenty five.
• 3:54
Speaker 3: What we're going to do in twenty twenty six, maybe
• 3:58
Speaker 3: two months, I think will definitely do it within two months,
• 4:01
Speaker 3: but should well probably be six weeks at the current rate.
• 4:04
Speaker 3: Now this is incredible. As for how the DHS is
• 4:08
Speaker 3: accomplishing this, Mullen said, is by focusing on those who
• 4:12
Speaker 3: have criminal records or final orders of deportation from judges,
• 4:17
Speaker 3: and oftentimes, he said, the federal agents will find several
• 4:20
Speaker 3: other illegal aliens being harbored in the same homes and
• 4:24
Speaker 3: they arrest them and deport them too. So what we're
• 4:29
Speaker 3: what we're going to do, and what we're doing is
• 4:31
Speaker 3: we're looking at the worst of the worst, Mullen said.
• 4:34
Speaker 3: We're going after people that have already had final orders,
• 4:38
Speaker 3: meaning they've already had final orders from a judge that says, hey,
• 4:43
Speaker 3: you got to go. You've already went through the appeal
• 4:45
Speaker 3: process and you didn't show up for your last court appearance,
• 4:49
Speaker 3: so you've got to go. We're going after people that
• 4:52
Speaker 3: have felonies, that have active felonies on them. We're going
• 4:56
Speaker 3: after individuals that have been released from state penitentiaries and
• 5:02
Speaker 3: that had already served their time, but they're still in
• 5:05
Speaker 3: the country illegally. So now we're getting a warn out
• 5:09
Speaker 3: for their rest because they're no longer allowed to stay
• 5:12
Speaker 3: inside the country because they violated either their parole or
• 5:16
Speaker 3: they violated their agreement with the United States by allowing
• 5:19
Speaker 3: them to come in through the visa program. And then
• 5:22
Speaker 3: we're going after the individuals that have claimed asylum cases.
• 5:26
Speaker 3: And asylum cases are the ones they said that they
• 5:28
Speaker 3: need asylum because they're not because they're scared of their
• 5:32
Speaker 3: own country. Now the case went in front of a judge,
• 5:36
Speaker 3: a judge says, no, you don't comply, or they just
• 5:39
Speaker 3: flat out didn't show up. When you're going after these individuals,
• 5:43
Speaker 3: we have warrants for them, we're serving them when we
• 5:46
Speaker 3: find them. Very seldom are they ever by themselves. In fact,
• 5:51
Speaker 3: usually there are three or four other occupants individuals with
• 5:56
Speaker 3: them that are also illegal. So we're picking up the
• 5:59
Speaker 3: one and we run into them having three or four others.
• 6:03
Speaker 3: Actually it's just an average of over four with them
• 6:06
Speaker 3: at the same time, and we arrest those individuals too.
• 6:10
Speaker 3: So our rest are on track, our deportations are way up,
• 6:14
Speaker 3: and we're going to continue to go after the worst
• 6:17
Speaker 3: of the worst. That's our focus. We're trying to get
• 6:19
Speaker 3: the criminals off the streets now. Mullen's interview came just
• 6:24
Speaker 3: ahead of his hundred day mark as the Secretary of
• 6:26
Speaker 3: Homeland Security that is happening on Thursday. He was thrown
• 6:30
Speaker 3: into the job after President Donald Trump reassigned the now
• 6:35
Speaker 3: former Secretary Chrissy Nome to focus on Latin American affairs. Mullen,
• 6:39
Speaker 3: a former US Center had a quick confirmation for the
• 6:42
Speaker 3: job from the US Senate and started earlier the spring.
• 6:45
Speaker 3: A previously published portion of that interview on Mullen's efforts
• 6:50
Speaker 3: to also secure the World Cup soccer tournament, and there's
• 6:53
Speaker 3: a deeper interview, and it was talking about how he
• 6:56
Speaker 3: was going to specifically deal with immigration enforcement matter. He said, quote,
• 7:01
Speaker 3: I still love it. I still every single day I
• 7:03
Speaker 3: walk in I think I'm still the luckiest man in
• 7:05
Speaker 3: the world, referring to what it's been like in the
• 7:08
Speaker 3: first hundred days looming. I wouldn't trade my position with anybody,
• 7:12
Speaker 3: not another Cabinet member. I really legitimately enjoy it. I
• 7:16
Speaker 3: get to protect the homeland.
• 7:17
  Speaker 1: Right.
• 7:17
Speaker 3: It's a mission that every day that works works well
• 7:22
Speaker 3: that you can get behind it as you describe it now.
• 7:24
Speaker 3: Mullins also explained how wide ranging the mandate at DHS
• 7:29
Speaker 3: really is and how the department has twenty two different components,
• 7:33
Speaker 3: all focused on all sorts of security and law enforcement.
• 7:37
Speaker 3: He said, quote, so yes, we have twenty two components.
• 7:40
Speaker 3: Every one of those twenty two components has come has
• 7:43
Speaker 3: had some aspect of well protecting our interests, our homelan,
• 7:47
Speaker 3: not just the lower forty eight, but all of us,
• 7:50
Speaker 3: all the Americans, and so we get the special privilege
• 7:54
Speaker 3: of protecting my own backyard and yours, regardless if you
• 7:58
Speaker 3: agree with me or you don't agree with me. So
• 8:01
Speaker 3: every day we're also looking to prove that there are
• 8:04
Speaker 3: some changes that need to be made, and we're working
• 8:06
Speaker 3: on those changes. There are definitely improvements. Every single day
• 8:11
Speaker 3: we get in here and say how can we do
• 8:13
Speaker 3: it better? Every single day we prevent something from taking place.
• 8:18
Speaker 3: We work with all of all the other secretaries. There's
• 8:22
Speaker 3: not another agency or cabinet position that works across the board.
• 8:26
Speaker 3: Because we have twenty two components. We work with the
• 8:28
Speaker 3: State Department, We work with the DOW, we work with
• 8:31
Speaker 3: a DOJ, we work with the EPA, we work with Agriculture,
• 8:35
Speaker 3: we work with Commerce and Treasury, and the list goes on.
• 8:39
Speaker 3: So you're never bored, You're never running out of things
• 8:41
Speaker 3: to do. I mean this when I say it, I
• 8:44
Speaker 3: don't think I've slept in one hundred days, but I
• 8:46
Speaker 3: don't think the President has slept in eighty years because
• 8:48
Speaker 3: that guy never stops. And so getting to work with
• 8:51
Speaker 3: him on a daily basis has been amazing. Ever since
• 8:54
Speaker 3: I was a kid, I had mentors in my life, right, somebody,
• 8:58
Speaker 3: somebody that's achieved something that was setting an example that
• 9:01
Speaker 3: I wanted to get to. So my dad had a
• 9:04
Speaker 3: ridiculous work ethic and completely honest. I mean, one thing
• 9:07
Speaker 3: you didn't do is you never lied to your dad.
• 9:11
Speaker 3: The second thing you never did is you never told
• 9:14
Speaker 3: Dad you couldn't because he didn't allow excuses. Then I
• 9:17
Speaker 3: had a football coach, Bill Scott, that was an amazing
• 9:20
Speaker 3: mentor of mine sports and dedication education. And then when
• 9:24
Speaker 3: I got into got into business, I had a guy
• 9:27
Speaker 3: named Daryl Baskins that really showed me. Advertising a guy
• 9:30
Speaker 3: named Amos that showed me how to actually structure your bills.
• 9:33
Speaker 3: I know that sounds funny, but I was young. But
• 9:37
Speaker 3: how do you do the payback? How do you pay
• 9:40
Speaker 3: the bills and structure it in a form to which
• 9:43
Speaker 3: then can allow you to invest and set your accounts
• 9:46
Speaker 3: with a way that they need to be set up.
• 9:48
Speaker 3: Then I got into politics. I had Kevin McCarthy, who
• 9:51
Speaker 3: was at the time the whip, who took me under
• 9:53
Speaker 3: his wing. When I got the Senate, I had John
• 9:56
Speaker 3: Thune that took me underneath his wing. And now I
• 9:59
Speaker 3: have President t which is amazing. Right, There's no one
• 10:03
Speaker 3: with a better work ethic. There's no one that manages
• 10:06
Speaker 3: an able to recruit talent like President Trump can and
• 10:09
Speaker 3: get people to believe in his vision. So in this position,
• 10:12
Speaker 3: I feel like I'm still growing. In one hundred days,
• 10:16
Speaker 3: I felt like I honestly, when I heard it was
• 10:18
Speaker 3: one hundred days, when we were walking in about every
• 10:21
Speaker 3: ready to do the interview, I thought, wait, it feels
• 10:24
Speaker 3: like it's just been a few weeks.
• 10:27
  Speaker 1: Now.
• 10:27
Speaker 3: This is pretty incredible that the man who's just been
• 10:30
Speaker 3: there for one hundred days has already gotten so much done. Now,
• 10:34
Speaker 3: Mullens has been very active, by the way, in his
• 10:37
Speaker 3: new role. He got in a heated altercation with Democrats
• 10:41
Speaker 3: like Representative Rosa Delaro from Connecticut during a congressional hearing
• 10:45
Speaker 3: on Capitol Hill. He fought was seen as Jake Tapper
• 10:48
Speaker 3: on live television. But again this interview that he did
• 10:51
Speaker 3: with Breitbart, he wanted to make it clear that his
• 10:55
Speaker 3: main focus. One of the biggest things he's trying to
• 10:57
Speaker 3: do at DHS is expand more local and state law
• 11:01
Speaker 3: enforcement departments into joining the two eighty seven grams G
• 11:06
Speaker 3: program with federal government. He said that two eighty seven
• 11:10
Speaker 3: G program says, hey, if you'll help us, just simply
• 11:14
Speaker 3: hold the individual when you pull them. I don't need
• 11:17
Speaker 3: you to do immigration enforcement. Because you're out there and
• 11:20
Speaker 3: you're in the streets, you're in the community. You're going
• 11:23
Speaker 3: to run into them anyway, Mullen said, noting that state
• 11:26
Speaker 3: and local police departments as well as sheriff's departments nationwide
• 11:31
Speaker 3: regularly encounter illegal aliens. If you can just join the
• 11:34
Speaker 3: two eighty seven G program, then you can make the
• 11:37
Speaker 3: arrests right there on the spot. Mullen said. Cops nationwide
• 11:43
Speaker 3: regularly encounter illegal aliens in the course of law enforcement activities,
• 11:46
Speaker 3: and by working with federal authorities, they can ease immigration
• 11:50
Speaker 3: enforcement significantly. Say they pull over a trap at traffic stop,
• 11:54
Speaker 3: or public disturbance or public intoxication, or they just bust
• 11:58
Speaker 3: the house because they're serving a warrant and they're some
• 12:00
Speaker 3: illegals there. There's a legal activity at a business, just
• 12:03
Speaker 3: anything in the day to day operations. There isn't anybody
• 12:06
Speaker 3: that touch the public more than the sheriff's department and
• 12:08
Speaker 3: local PD and state police right the state police. So
• 12:13
Speaker 3: when they're part of the two to eighty seven program,
• 12:16
Speaker 3: they can partner with us. And guess what, when they
• 12:18
Speaker 3: partner with us, we reimburse. We'll reimburse you for equipment,
• 12:22
Speaker 3: we reimburse the time of the officer. You can actually
• 12:26
Speaker 3: well you want to help your apartment, you want to
• 12:28
Speaker 3: help serve warrants, We'll actually pay for those officers full
• 12:31
Speaker 3: salary for you to go through. In small municipalities and
• 12:35
Speaker 3: smaller states, they can add officers because they can buy
• 12:38
Speaker 3: new equipment, they can buy drones, they can buy vehicles,
• 12:41
Speaker 3: and we help them because we've got a huge influx
• 12:44
Speaker 3: of illegals that are in this country and some of them, yes,
• 12:46
Speaker 3: some of them want to work. But seventy percent of
• 12:49
Speaker 3: the individuals we arrest on a daily basis with Immigration
• 12:53
Speaker 3: enforcement have either pending felony charges or they've already had
• 12:57
Speaker 3: felony charges. And a huge percent of those have been
• 13:00
Speaker 3: released already from sanctuary cities and sanctuary states. So just
• 13:05
Speaker 3: one hundred days in, it's very clear a man in
• 13:08
Speaker 3: charge of DHS is saying we're just getting started, and
• 13:12
Speaker 3: he guarantees you this, They're not backing down anytime soon.
