Jack Hibbs: Daze Of Deception & Intolerance Toward True Christians · Worldview Matters With David Fiorazo

• 0:00
Welcome to World View Matters, discussing controversial issues,
• 0:07
discerning current events, defending biblical Christianity.
• 0:12
  No topic, off limits.
• 0:15
And now, here's your host, David Firazo.
• 0:19
Almighty God and Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
• 0:23
together we come before you in humility,
• 0:27
as a people in need of your forgiveness, your mercy,
• 0:31
  your goodness, and your grace.
• 0:34
  For these 250 so years,
• 0:37
our fathers in this Congress have prayed for your guidance and protection.
• 0:43
And so we stand here in humble petition that you today might do the same,
• 0:49
that this nation and its unparalleled constitution,
• 0:54
your great gift to all freedom-loving people,
• 0:57
might be renewed here and across this land,
• 1:00
as a beacon of hope to all who seek peace.
• 1:04
And that was an offensive prayer to a lot of people in America,
• 1:08
surprisingly enough, maybe Pastor Jack Hibbs is our guest today,
• 1:12
we'll get to him in a minute.
• 1:14
But I want to thank some friends, by the way,
• 1:16
he used some offensive words, the F word, Father,
• 1:20
the J word, Jesus, and the L word, Lord, gasp.
• 1:24
All right, so I want to thank some friends who've been donating to World View Matters.
• 1:28
We are a nonprofit, and I thank you, Tony and Michelle,
• 1:31
  from Lakeville, Illinois,
• 1:33
and recent shout outs to Ohio, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Michigan,
• 1:37
Toronto, Canada, Minnesota, Nevada, and Maryland.
• 1:40
Thank you so much for keeping us going,
• 1:42
and for just keeping us really moving forward in this podcast.
• 1:47
We talk about some important issues, and ask some great guests,
• 1:50
  like Pastor Jack Hibbs.
• 1:51
He's the senior and founding pastor of Calvary Chapel,
• 1:54
  Chino Hills, in Southern California,
• 1:56
then founder also of Real Life Ministry,
• 1:59
the president of Real Life Ministry,
• 2:01
and nationally syndicated TV and radio host, Real Life Radio.
• 2:05
We're so blessed to have him on.
• 2:06
Thank you, Pastor Jack Hibbs, for your time today.
• 2:08
  Good to see you, brother.
• 2:09
  Good to see you, David.
• 2:10
The honor is mine. God bless you.
• 2:12
  Thank you so much.
• 2:13
Well, let's talk about those offensive words,
• 2:15
why they were offensive in that prayer before Congress,
• 2:17
and then we're going to get into your book,
• 2:18
which I've got a lot of questions about your book today,
• 2:21
and it's called Living in the Days of Deception.
• 2:24
So, Jack, your prayer, first of all, thank you for,
• 2:29
I understand you rewrote it, and thank you for, you know,
• 2:33
just mentioning Jesus and really representing.
• 2:36
So go ahead and share what happened,
• 2:38
and why do you think it was so offensive?
• 2:41
Yeah, number one is the fact that I was asked to open up Congress
• 2:46
  118th Congress in prayer,
• 2:49
which our government has been doing,
• 2:51
as I said in the prayer for some 250 years.
• 2:54
So I was invited by House Speaker Mike Johnson to pray,
• 2:59
and you have to be invited by a congressional member.
• 3:02
And then you are then informed that you have to have so many words,
• 3:08
and I understand, but you are to be gender-neutral in your prayer.
• 3:13
Don't mention Father, because that isolates some people.
• 3:18
If you mention Jesus, it's evangelizing,
• 3:20
  so you cannot do that.
• 3:22
You can say God, you can say amen,
• 3:26
but you gotta, you can't make it Christian.
• 3:30
And so I agreed in advance to go to Washington and pray,
• 3:36
because it's an honor to be invited.
• 3:38
  I had the high honor.
• 3:39
This is my second time over my ministry career to be invited.
• 3:44
But I have to tell you, David,
• 3:48
when I flew into DC the night before,
• 3:51
the Lord spoke to my heart and said,
• 3:53
  what are you doing here?
• 3:55
  What are you doing?
• 3:57
And I knew exactly what he meant.
• 3:59
  I was reading my prayer,
• 4:01
and it could be a Buddhist prayer.
• 4:03
It could have been a Hindu prayer.
• 4:05
It could have been a Muslim prayer or a Jewish prayer.
• 4:08
  It was non-descript, non-distinct.
• 4:11
I was so convicted, David, I felt like throwing up.
• 4:15
But yet I had to be at the Capitol at 8 a.m.
• 4:20
  And I rewrote the prayer.
• 4:23
  But here's what I did.
• 4:25
I went to Google and I Googled historic prayers
• 4:29
  in the United States Capitol.
• 4:32
Oh my goodness, how far did you go back?
• 4:34
  1774.
• 4:36
  Yep.
• 4:38
I lifted some of those very sentences
• 4:42
  from preceding chaplains.
• 4:46
And I incorporated them into my prayer.
• 4:50
So David, I can tell you,
• 4:52
maybe a third of the prayer was my organic.
• 4:57
Most of it was US history.
• 4:59
  Wow.
• 5:00
  That happened in our Congress.
• 5:03
  That's right.
• 5:04
I delivered that prayer as you played a moment ago
• 5:08
and I found out that in the first sentence
• 5:13
before I hit a period that I had violated five rules.
• 5:17
And it just went downhill from there
• 5:19
  because I later mentioned sin.
• 5:22
I mentioned at the end that all those who are in authority
• 5:26
will be held accountable for the decisions they make in this house.
• 5:31
  I was immediately condemned.
• 5:33
  In less than five hours,
• 5:35
I was condemned by 26 congressional members
• 5:39
who authored a letter of condemnation
• 5:42
and an investigation into Mike Johnson's selection
• 5:46
  of this, listen,
• 5:48
  of this Jew hating.
• 5:52
What one of the biggest supporters of Israel?
• 5:55
Some of my best friends are Jews.
• 5:57
  I'm a Jew hater.
• 5:58
  I'm an Islamophob.
• 5:59
  I'm a homophob.
• 6:01
  White supremacist.
• 6:03
It just went down the list, David.
• 6:05
And it hasn't stopped, by the way.
• 6:07
  By the way,
• 6:08
there's been enough news out there
• 6:12
whereby I'm not going to mention the firm right now
• 6:15
but there is an actual firm here in America
• 6:18
that said, listen, with your permission,
• 6:20
we'd like to sue these 26 members of Congress
• 6:23
  for a defamation
• 6:24
because to discredit you at what you do as a pastor
• 6:27
and as a host of a TV program,
• 6:30
they actually have done damage to your reputation
• 6:32
and we want to go after them on that.
• 6:35
So we've not heard the end of it,
• 6:37
but man, I got to tell you,
• 6:38
  pray in Jesus' name
• 6:40
in this republic and you're in trouble.
• 6:44
Well, let me ask you a follow-up question
• 6:46
about that before we get to your book
• 6:48
Living in the Days DAZE of Deception.
• 6:52
What would our great grandparents think
• 6:54
and what would our founding fathers think
• 6:57
  of this being offensive
• 6:59
in our government and our Congress?
• 7:02
They never would have had the thought.
• 7:04
It never would have crossed their minds
• 7:06
  because once again,
• 7:07
  I lifted from history
• 7:09
  what had already been delivered.
• 7:11
  And so, for example,
• 7:12
if you look at the prayers of Jacob Duchet,
• 7:17
if you look at the prayers,
• 7:19
even prayers offered up by of all people
• 7:21
  at the time,
• 7:22
the governor of Massachusetts, Samuel Adams.
• 7:25
Oh my gosh, so biblical, amazing.
• 7:28
And when I mentioned how we need the mercy of God,
• 7:33
these were all things from our nation's history.
• 7:36
But I can't tell you this.
• 7:40
There were many members of Congress
• 7:43
who greeted me with embraces and thank yous.
• 7:48
I know for certain that three congressmen
• 7:52
and women came up to me immediately after the prayer
• 7:55
  and said, and I quote,
• 7:57
we've not heard a biblical prayer here like this in years.
• 8:02
  So, you know what?
• 8:04
  I'm good.
• 8:05
  That's sad.
• 8:06
And that kind of is a good transition here
• 8:08
to quote Mike Pompeo, former U.S. Secretary of State,
• 8:12
  about your book,
• 8:14
he says Pastor Jack gets it exactly right.
• 8:17
If we lose our faith as a nation,
• 8:43
  you know,
• 8:45
if you want to comment on that on Mike Pompeo's thoughts,
• 8:49
  go ahead.
• 8:50
Well, first of all, he's a friend
• 8:52
and he and I went to the same county,
• 8:54
a school district, which is kind of fun.
• 8:58
But listen, his statement's not only prophetic,
• 9:01
  it's actually present.
• 9:03
  It's happening now.
• 9:05
And I thought, you know what?
• 9:07
  Talk about deception.
• 9:08
Who better than to address the issue of deception
• 9:11
and the former director of the Central Intelligence Agency,
• 9:14
Mike Pompeo, who of course went on to be the 70th Secretary of State.
• 9:19
And a born-again believer who loves the Lord Jesus Christ,
• 9:22
Mike was fantastic and generous in his forward.
• 9:26
That said, we're watching, in fact, David, you know this.
• 9:31
When was the last time you've watched media, news, whatever?
• 9:35
And you heard someone, especially a Democrat.
• 9:39
When was the last time you heard a Democrat say that,
• 9:41
we need to stand strong to preserve the republic.
• 9:44
  You don't hear that.
• 9:46
All you hear about is democracy, democracy, democracy.
• 9:50
We're being ingrained to think that the United States
• 9:53
  is a pure democracy.
• 9:55
  It is not.
• 9:56
The United States is a constitutional republic.
• 9:59
But when you don't teach it,
• 10:01
and then when you lie about things,
• 10:03
that is a double-edged movement of deception.
• 10:08
  Don't teach truth.
• 10:11
  That's deception number one.
• 10:13
Deception two is replace what you're not teaching.
• 10:18
  Replace it with something else.
• 10:21
And thus the DAZ, the COVID world,
• 10:25
the political realm we're in right now,
• 10:28
and I believe the constitutional crisis our nation is in,
• 10:32
is what has put people in the state of days.
• 10:35
I believe, David, this may sound extreme to some of your viewers,
• 10:39
  but I believe it's true.
• 10:41
We have a tendency to limit all's warning to Timothy
• 10:45
that in the last days there's going to be deception,
• 10:48
doctrines of demons and spiritual wickedness in high places.
• 10:52
We think that that's limited to the pulpit or to the church down the street.
• 10:57
My argument in the book is there's no limit to it.
• 11:01
  That's right.
• 11:02
  Satan, as the Bible says,
• 11:04
Satan is the god of this age of this world at this time.
• 11:08
He's out and about deceiving him.
• 11:11
And he doesn't matter, David, if he deceives the governor,
• 11:14
the city council, the pastor, the family, or the president,
• 11:19
  he knows no limits.
• 11:21
And I believe that he is now sowing
• 11:24
and what you and I are reaping in our culture today
• 11:28
are really the doctrines of demons, transgendarism.
• 11:32
The rise right now, oh my goodness,
• 11:35
the rise right now of the opening episodes of Jihad
• 11:40
  happening in America.
• 11:41
This is how it begins on our college campuses.
• 11:43
  It's only going to escalate.
• 11:45
  Why?
• 11:46
  Deception.
• 11:47
  It's all deception.
• 11:48
  Yeah.
• 11:49
Well, Satan is the author of lies.
• 11:51
The father of lies, the author of confusion.
• 11:53
I see what's happening on college campuses
• 11:56
as a result of the indoctrination at the K through 12 level.
• 11:59
They are doing what the school system has already been designed to do.
• 12:04
They're putting out social justice activists, right?
• 12:07
Satan, just like we're to make disciples and recruit people
• 12:10
to the body of Christ to get born again through the gospel.
• 12:13
Satan is doing a great job, and I'm not giving him credit.
• 12:16
I'm just saying he's recruiting a lot of the best devil.
• 12:19
He's the best devil they'll ever be.
• 12:22
  Yeah.
• 12:23
  So he's doing that.
• 12:24
I mean, you write in the book.
• 12:25
You talk about traditional beliefs on gender, marriage, law, deception.
• 12:30
But I want to jump before we run out of time.
• 12:32
This is going to go by very fast today.
• 12:34
You make a point about the importance of tolerance.
• 12:36
And you just, I think you just mentioned that tolerance has been redefined.
• 12:39
And that's what the left does.
• 12:40
  They redefine language and words.
• 12:42
And then they weaponize it and use it as accusations.
• 12:45
Then we're playing defense like Christian nationalism, for example.
• 12:49
So your thoughts on chapter eight,
• 12:51
was raised by the deception of new tolerance.
• 12:54
  Tell us about that.
• 12:55
  Yeah.
• 12:56
Number one, the word tolerance was defined by Noah Webster
• 13:00
in his 1828 dictionary of English language for America.
• 13:05
Y'all to get the book, everybody.
• 13:06
  It's available at Amazon.
• 13:08
It's about this thick, but it's beautiful.
• 13:10
It's the only dictionary that matters.
• 13:12
And Webster says that tolerance is being able to with respect
• 13:17
and with honor put up with someone else's view on something
• 13:22
and that you agree, even though you disagree, that's tolerance.
• 13:27
  Not today.
• 13:28
Tolerance is if you disagree with me, you are intolerant.
• 13:33
Only my tolerance, my position, can be honored.
• 13:37
And so what's happening today is if we stand up and say something truthful,
• 13:43
if we hold to a biblical worldview value,
• 13:45
if we quote or even paraphrase a Bible verse,
• 13:49
  we will be labeled intolerant.
• 13:51
  Why?
• 13:52
Because it doesn't fit the new agenda.
• 13:54
And the new agenda is to redefine words in their meanings.
• 13:58
And so when you release yourself from the anchor or from the moorings
• 14:03
of your foundations, you're on your own.
• 14:05
  You're a drift at sea.
• 14:07
And so there's a concerted effort to do that.
• 14:10
And we're fighting hard in our own community.
• 14:12
In our last election, the word battles were taking place in our local school board.
• 14:17
But we, listen, we made things known.
• 14:19
I made the congregation aware that two George Soros funded candidates.
• 14:25
Factually, we found this out to be a fact.
• 14:28
Had come into the area and tried to run in our local school board and we raised the flag
• 14:32
and exposed to the culture what was going on.
• 14:36
And then we were labeled for being bigots and being intolerant.
• 14:39
When the other team had a concerted effort to destroy.
• 14:43
  That's right.
• 14:44
So I want to encourage everybody.
• 14:45
Take a stand, make sure you're standing biblically and know this.
• 14:49
Jesus is still to this day the most hated individual that has ever graced this earth.
• 14:54
Yes, he's also the most beloved.
• 14:56
But Jesus said, listen, don't be surprised if you associate with me
• 15:00
  if the world hates you.
• 15:02
Just make sure they're hating you for the right reason.
• 15:04
And for the right reason would be truth.
• 15:06
And the new tolerance knows nothing about truth at all.
• 15:10
  That's right.
• 15:11
One of the headings in the chapter, the new tolerance dismisses absolutes.
• 15:16
And one of the descriptions that I think I read on the website,
• 15:19
the greatest antidote to deception is truth.
• 15:23

Back to Pastor Jack Hibbs and it's on Amazon as well, friends.
• 16:50
And the book, Living in the Days DAZE of Deception is doing incredibly well.
• 16:55
It explores the many ways that error is masquerading as truth and how you can discern the difference.
• 17:02
Jack, before we run out of time, I wanted to ask you, you have strong opinions on the woke church.
• 17:09
  Thank you.
• 17:10
And a lot of people are listening to you talk.
• 17:13
And whenever I have certain pastors on, I get the same response.
• 17:16
I wish my pastor would address dot, dot, dot, whatever.
• 17:19
Prophecy, Israel, abortion, same-sex marriage, socialism, Marxism.
• 17:24
But you talk about the woke church. Explain how you see this movement as departing from the biblical truths.
• 17:30
And what gospel elements are being compromised with this wokeness.
• 17:35
Well, first of all, did not the scripture warn us then the last days many would depart from the faith.
• 17:40
And yet we're told that they would maintain a religious appearance.
• 17:44
The scripture says that they're going to be deceivers, but they're going to deny God, right?
• 17:51
  But they're spiritual.
• 17:53
  So we have churches today.
• 17:56
And you might attend a church and you don't know if it's a Biblically New Testament church.
• 18:02
Well, you're going to find out real quick by what the pastor has to teach.
• 18:06
And what I'm asking all of you to do is go to church next Sunday with your Bible open.
• 18:11
Take your Bible, please, to church with a notebook and a highlighter.
• 18:15
And the pastor should be on fire with the word of God that he's delivering.
• 18:21
And it should be chapter, verse of scripture.
• 18:24
If you aren't being told that God wants you to just accept this and you know there's a new movement of foot.
• 18:32
The spirit of God's moving in a different way without the Bible.
• 18:37
Those are warnings to you to discern that it's time to get up and go.
• 18:41
  However, let me say this.
• 18:43
There are pastors who have been beaten down.
• 18:45
Maybe they came out as seminary.
• 18:47
They were never taught what it means to be a watchman on the wall.
• 18:50
What it means to be a shepherd of the sheep sacrificing your life for them.
• 18:54
And that is trafficking and truth.
• 18:56
Maybe some pastors are waking up and are saying, you know what?
• 18:59
I'm going to take a stand.
• 19:00
If my board wants to fire me, let him fire me, but I'm going to be truthful.
• 19:04
Let me God, let me tell you, God will bless you so radically.
• 19:07
Look, I'm nobody special, but I'm telling you my Bible special.
• 19:11
And I try to hide myself, David, in the scriptures.
• 19:14
And I don't want to go to the pulpit unless the word of God has caught fire inside my own heart.
• 19:19
That's going to take a long time.
• 19:21
A pastor seeking God, the church is going to take care of itself.
• 19:26
  Jesus will see to it.
• 19:27
Exalt his word, exalt his name, and Jesus will actually shepherd his own church.
• 19:34
Sometimes there's a lot to overcome for pastors, because if they're going to some seminaries today,
• 19:39
some have dropped the belief in an inerrancy of scriptures.
• 19:42
Some teach a lot about church growth and how to maybe attract a crowd to build a big following.
• 19:47
But like you said, they don't talk about maybe Bible prophecy or other things that are biblical issues.
• 19:52
That the people need to be equipped on, right?
• 19:56
  Bible prophecy, addressing sin.
• 20:00
Making certain that no matter what your message is,
• 20:03
your preaching, that you make sure that you get the cross and the empty tomb.
• 20:08
That Jesus died for our sins on the cross, and that he rose again from the dead for our justification.
• 20:13
That there's no hope without him, but there's all hope with him.
• 20:16
  Amen.
• 20:17
And you can be teaching anything from any book of the Bible.
• 20:20
Just make sure that the gospel is always in your message.
• 20:24
But yeah, Bible prophecy, more than ever, Bible prophecy needs to be taught.
• 20:28
A lot of our seminary graduates have never been taught Bible prophecy.
• 20:33
But we need to make sure that we're presenting the true gospel, which is this, very simple.
• 20:37
Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, simple.
• 20:39
Repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.
• 20:43
That's the gospel, but it starts with repentance.
• 20:46
If your church is not teaching repentance or if you're not speaking repentance pastor, you need to get with it.
• 20:52
You need to repent and you need to get back to the foundation of God's word.
• 20:57
  There's still hope for America.
• 20:59
It's not it's not in Sacramento where I'm at.
• 21:02
And it's not in Washington, DC.
• 21:04
It's not in the state house or in the White House.
• 21:07
The only hope now is so evident.
• 21:09
The only hope for America right now, and we're running out of time, is in God's house, area.
• 21:15
And we need a sense of urgency.
• 21:18
And I thank you for your voice and all the people that, you know, we've been able to talk to rob elbows with, so to speak.
• 21:25
We're talking about the book, Friends Living in the Days of Deception.
• 21:28
  It is on Amazon.
• 21:29
  It's on Pastor Jack's website, Jackhybs.com.
• 21:32
Jack, your book talks about the dwindling freedoms and increased persecution of Christians.
• 21:37
And, you know, we kind of are losing the idea or just about being salt and light.
• 21:43
  Those are biblical concepts.
• 21:45
And I don't see enough of that with Christians influencing culture.
• 21:49
I see the culture influencing the church more.
• 21:53
We've got a lot of work to do.
• 21:54
As you said, yes, we need revival.
• 21:56
Your thoughts on that and how can people remain true to their faith?
• 22:00
  Speak up regardless.
• 22:02
We can't control how other people react to either the gospel or confronting error or these biblical issues in our culture.
• 22:11
We need to talk about them.
• 22:13
So again, I speak to the pastor, but by doing so, I speak to all believers that are watching right now.
• 22:18
Jesus said in Matthew's gospel, let your light so shine before men.
• 22:21
  The word men is generic.
• 22:23
  It implies unbelievers.
• 22:24
Let your light, let your witness so shine before an unbelieving world.
• 22:29
That when they see your good works, that's a reference to the day of judgment.
• 22:32
They will glorify your father, which is in heaven, translation.
• 22:35
Live out your faith, biblically based, righteously, in an unrighteous world, that in the day of judgment,
• 22:42
the unbeliever is going to have to confess to God that Jack and David announced the truth way back then,
• 22:48
and I didn't listen to them.
• 22:50
Are you willing to be so biblically right that God uses you to not only bring people to the kingdom,
• 22:57
but he's also going to use your witness to actually be the condemnation on the day of judgment of the lost?
• 23:03
We are not here for how many likes or how many Facebook friends we can gather.
• 23:08
  That's ridiculous.
• 23:09
We are here to get the approval of one.
• 23:12
And if we do that, again, we traffic in spiritual matters.
• 23:18
Let God be God, obey His Word, and get up and do Christianity, because Christianity is a non-spectator faith.
• 23:27
  You've got to be involved.
• 23:29
And when you do, you'll see the power of God.
• 23:32
When you do, you'll see God answer prayer.
• 23:34
When you do, you'll see miracles.
• 23:36
When you see that when you step out and take on the school board or the union,
• 23:42
that's clearly attacking biblically sound things or life, whatever it is,
• 23:49
your values or freedoms, biblically based, stand up and say, no way.
• 23:54
  Then God will show up.
• 23:56
A lot of people say, David, I've never heard God speak to me.
• 23:59
Well, maybe he doesn't need to speak to you.
• 24:01
  You're not doing anything.
• 24:02
Step out and you're going to receive information from high command.
• 24:07
He's going to leave you and guide you.
• 24:09
  Amen.
• 24:10
  The Word speaks.
• 24:11
The Word of God is living an active and sharper than a double-edged sword.
• 24:14
We just need to get it in us.
• 24:15
  And I love your point.
• 24:16
  Audience of one.
• 24:17
  Who's approval are we seeking?
• 24:19
  Last question, Jack.
• 24:20
Maybe, unless we can squeeze more in, but you end your book on a hopeful note.
• 24:24
And we need to do that these days.
• 24:26
The people being overwhelmed and believers really being disheartened by what's happening
• 24:30
in our country and our culture and our government and everything else.
• 24:33
Could you talk about how faith and hope provide guidance and navigating the crazy times
• 24:41
  we're living in?
• 24:42
We've got to keep grounded in the Word.
• 24:44
  Yeah.
• 24:45
  So good, David.
• 24:46
God's Word, if we'll read it,
• 24:48
faith comes by hearing, hearing by the Word of God.
• 24:52
You cannot separate faith from hope.
• 24:55
When you have faith in the Word of God because God's sovereign, he's true
• 24:59
and he's doing a work right now, you have hope because God's Word's true.
• 25:03
You know that this is not our home.
• 25:05
We're going to go home someday.
• 25:07
That this is not all there is.
• 25:09
  There's an eternity that awaits.
• 25:11
When you realize this from Scripture, you get galvanized by the truth.
• 25:16
And what happens is you go out into a world and here's what's fun, David.
• 25:20
If we win or lose the local battle,
• 25:24
we always win in the end.
• 25:27
We always win in the end because God's Word is written and we're going to stand before the Lord.
• 25:32
And there's only one thing that the believer is going to be judged on.
• 25:36
  One thing, were you faithful?
• 25:38
Were you faithful to what I asked you to do?
• 25:40
He's not going to talk about anything else and read your New Testament.
• 25:44
Were you faithful to what I called you to do?
• 25:46
Don't bury the light under or put it under the bushel.
• 25:49
  Let it shine.
• 25:51
Go out and do righteousness, which is doing the right thing.
• 25:55
  Effect your culture.
• 25:56
  Tell people about me.
• 25:58
We have such an awesome calling.
• 26:00
We have such an awesome mission that when we finish, we get to hear these words.
• 26:05
  Well done.
• 26:06
  That'll good and faithful servant.
• 26:08
  There's so much hope.
• 26:10
In fact, there's endless, ultimate, unmitigated hope for the believer, especially at a time like this.
• 26:17
These days of battle are the days of victory.
• 26:20
I wouldn't trade this moment for anything.
• 26:23
  Yeah, you know what?
• 26:24
Our great grandparents or people before their time might not have been able to handle our time.
• 26:28
And we are here for such a time as this.
• 26:30
We've all been given a sphere of influence.
• 26:33
And we need to remember, we can't control the results or someone else, how they respond to the gospel.
• 26:39
And that's on them, but we are responsible to get the word out.
• 26:43
Jack, thank you for writing this.
• 26:45
We need some clarity in these days.
• 26:47
DAZE, living in the days of deception, friends, jackhibs.com.
• 26:51
I'll just give you another opportunity.
• 26:53
We have about 30 seconds, Jack, just to encourage those who might need another nudge or push to just make sure they're living their faith.
• 27:02
You know, Monday through Saturday as well as Sunday.
• 27:05
  Real simple.
• 27:06
Number one, get in the word of God.
• 27:08
  Start in John's gospel.
• 27:09
  Start reading the Bible.
• 27:10
The second thing is, ask every day, dear Lord, fill me with your Holy Spirit of fresh for today.
• 27:16
Give me the power to live out your Word today.
• 27:19
And when you read His Word and when you ask Him for His power, the rest of it is all up to Him.
• 27:25
David, I leave every day to the outcome to God Himself.
• 27:29
I do my best and I commit the rest to Him, and His grace will make up the difference.
• 27:34
Do your best under God, commit the rest to Him.
• 27:37
Jack, thanks, sir. God bless you.
• 27:39
  God bless you, David.
• 27:40
  Thank you for the opportunity.
• 27:41
  Praise God.
• 27:42
  Good podcast, Lord.
• 27:44
Just thank you for the people I get to talk to.
• 27:46
The guests I get to be encouraged by and hopefully equip and edify and encourage our audience.
• 27:52
  Friends, God bless you.
• 27:53
Thanks for sharing the show and as always, keep speaking the truth about things that matter.
