Latest / The Psychic Explorer / Psychic on TikTok Live: What Happened When It All Went Wrong 🔮
Transcript
- 0:08Good morning, good evening, good afternoon, my
- 0:11fellow explorers. How are you? I trust you are
- 0:15well. I'm coming to you from a very cozy back
- 0:18bedroom where outside the rain is pouring. If
- 0:21you can hear the pitter -patter of rain on my
- 0:23back windows, I do apologize, but hopefully it
- 0:26gives us a little bit of atmosphere to this episode,
- 0:29which is all about returning. I'm afraid to say
- 0:34to self -doubt, so maybe the rain is quite apt.
- 0:38Before I go there though, I just want to give
- 0:40a massive thank you to everyone who has given
- 0:42feedback to Nat Lockett and Kelsey Anderson's
- 0:46episodes. You love them. The feedback we've had
- 0:49has just been phenomenal, wonderful, beautiful.
- 0:51And I know that you agree with me that both of
- 0:54them, just beautiful, beautiful people. Okay,
- 0:58let's go for it. Why is this episode returning
- 1:01to the theme of self -doubt? Well, you will know.
- 1:05Dear dear listener, that over the past month
- 1:07or two, since I released the episode about authenticity
- 1:10since my trip to Iceland back in the winter,
- 1:14I feel like my mediumship has taken off, I think
- 1:17is a fair description. and the readings I've
- 1:21been given in all my practice online groups,
- 1:25all my circles I go to, my face -to -face one
- 1:28and the various online ones I try to attend.
- 1:31All those readings, the vast majority of them
- 1:34seem to be really hitting. In fact, I'm not going
- 1:37to tell you today, but there was a very recent
- 1:40reading that I did for someone and actually it
- 1:43made me feel very uncomfortable. But that reading
- 1:46was particularly I wouldn't say difficult. I
- 1:51think it was just, I've never had that type of
- 1:54reading. It was a very unusual, I tend to get
- 1:57the lovey -dovey grandmothers and parents through.
- 1:59And this one was very different. And I'm noticing
- 2:01that as I'm going along, as my confidence was
- 2:04growing with this, I was, was I attracting? I
- 2:08don't know if you can attract or not with this,
- 2:10but I know that I was being given people to translate
- 2:16who in life were very difficult. They weren't
- 2:20particularly nice people and they didn't do things
- 2:23very kindly. Well, we'll put it that way and
- 2:26I've really been thinking. Oh, okay Maybe this
- 2:29is where I'm being pulled towards. Maybe I'm
- 2:31being pulled towards being given the more difficult
- 2:35readings. And I'm open to that. I am open to
- 2:39that because I do feel there is a need for that.
- 2:42But I feel like I was being given a test. Could
- 2:45I handle this situation? Could I handle the topics
- 2:48that I felt I was being given? And not only could
- 2:51I handle them, but could I manage the sitter
- 2:53in a potentially upsetting situation in a way
- 2:57that would leave them feeling better for hearing
- 3:00from someone who they might not want to hear
- 3:02from rather than just a generic stereotypical
- 3:07lovey -dovey reading. So I was getting myself
- 3:10confident, I was getting more confident with
- 3:12that. For those of you that don't know, I've
- 3:15been on TikTok for a while now, but it's only
- 3:18been until recently that I've delved into it
- 3:21and it's a bit of a while west, my god. And honestly,
- 3:25I think it deserves it deserves an entire episode
- 3:28just of its own. It's cowboy country out there
- 3:31when it comes to psychics and mediums on TikTok.
- 3:35And you scroll through and you think, my God,
- 3:37this is this is just awful. But I'm lucky because
- 3:41there are a few people and they seem to be in
- 3:44my sort of network who really emphasize on the
- 3:48ethics and the morality of giving a reading online,
- 3:51giving a reading on TikTok. So I've been watching
- 3:54these people and I've been thinking Do I do this?
- 3:59Do I press the live button? Part of me thought
- 4:03just do it and the other part of me thought Matt
- 4:06you are not ready for this You are not in a space
- 4:10to give readings in this environment to you to
- 4:13me. This is such a sacred job is that correct
- 4:17is it a job it's a such a sacred honor that that's
- 4:20the word it's a sacred honor to be able to handle
- 4:23to be able to give people these messages is so
- 4:26beautiful that i feel like almost sometimes keep
- 4:29doing it on tiktok and there's an element of
- 4:33cheapening of making it cheaper But there are
- 4:35ways of doing it. And I know there are people
- 4:37that I watch regularly. Nat, for one of them.
- 4:41Savannah, Dana, Sylvester, Destiny. These people
- 4:45who I've come to admire on this platform. Some
- 4:48of them I knew before. Obviously, Nat I knew
- 4:50beforehand and Dana I knew beforehand. But the
- 4:53others, I've come to them all through TikTok.
- 4:55And I really admire their moral compass and their
- 4:58ethics when it comes to doing online readings.
- 5:01And I watched them and I think, oh, I could do
- 5:03that. That's really easy. What an idiot. What
- 5:07an idiot I was thinking it was easy. So I thought,
- 5:11just do it, okay. And Simon said to me, come
- 5:13on, Matt, just do it. Just do it, do it, do it.
- 5:16And anyone that is not on TikTok, you probably
- 5:19won't, maybe you will, maybe you won't, I don't
- 5:21know, but maybe you might not quite understand
- 5:24all the stuff that I'm talking about here, but
- 5:26you will go on TikTok and you will see these
- 5:28people and they'll be putting cards. The platform
- 5:30allows you to interact with people. People can
- 5:34come up into your live room either by writing
- 5:38you a message or you can invite them to come
- 5:40up, you can have them on camera or just their
- 5:43voice. And some rooms are really energetic, some
- 5:46rooms are really calm and inviting and relaxing.
- 5:51And I sat on the sofa and I thought, fuck it,
- 5:54excuse my French but fuck it, I'm going to do
- 5:57it, I'm going to do it. So I researched online,
- 6:01I found out if I could swear, I found out if
- 6:04I could promote. I went through all the settings
- 6:06because I wanted to know what settings I needed,
- 6:09what settings I didn't need. I turned on the
- 6:1218 +, so the people that only came into the room
- 6:16were over 18. I did not want to be reading inadvertently
- 6:18for people under the age of 18. I switched off
- 6:22all of the gifting systems, so I didn't want
- 6:24people to... I didn't want to encourage people
- 6:27to have to send me a rose or send me a galaxy
- 6:30or whatever that stuff is. I didn't want that
- 6:32on my live. I wanted it to be clean. I wanted
- 6:35it to be, for lack of a better word, pure. I
- 6:39absolutely rinsed the settings and I rinsed all
- 6:43the preparation beforehand for the technical
- 6:46side. But... Why did I want to do it? What was
- 6:52the pull towards going live? Was it to promote
- 6:56the podcast? Honestly, no. Was it visibility?
- 7:02Maybe, maybe it was to show that I could do it
- 7:05too. Was it wanting to show up differently? I
- 7:07think possibly that was the case. I wanted to
- 7:10show... that it's all very well talking about
- 7:13the stuff. When I think about it, the pressure
- 7:15of, not the pressure, but I'm talking a lot about
- 7:18what I do and I'm saying to myself, I'm telling
- 7:21you, I'm talking into the ether here that I can
- 7:25do readings and I give people a sense of relief,
- 7:29a sense of happiness when I give them these readings,
- 7:32a sense of knowing. But that only ever happens
- 7:35in practice environments, in circles where...
- 7:38other people are open to that sort of reading.
- 7:43And I guess part of me wanted to show that I
- 7:46could do it to anyone. I've done platform. Really,
- 7:50realistically, what is the difference between
- 7:52doing a platform event and putting myself out
- 7:56online to an audience? I have to also ask the
- 8:00question, was there peer pressure from the platform
- 8:02itself? Now, when I say this, I want to highlight
- 8:06the word the platform, not the people, because
- 8:09the lives that I watch, people that do this,
- 8:13I admire. I don't ever feel like they are encouraging
- 8:16other people to do this just because they are.
- 8:20However, does the platform, and I think that
- 8:22is an element here. There is an element of that.
- 8:25it shows people in a certain light and isn't
- 8:29it interesting how many times have I spoken about
- 8:32putting people on a pedestal and in reality they
- 8:36are just like you and I they are just people
- 8:40I didn't feel like I felt like I wanted to do
- 8:45it but I didn't feel like there was a reason
- 8:47for doing it and again that also mirrors my mediumship
- 8:50I love doing it at the moment if I'm honest I
- 8:54don't know my why. I don't know why I want to
- 8:58do this. I don't know why I enjoy doing it. I
- 9:02know a lot of people say, I want to help people.
- 9:04I really want to bring sparkle back to people's
- 9:07lives. I want to let people know that they're
- 9:08not alone. All that stuff, and that is all well
- 9:11and good, and that is all valid. For me, though,
- 9:14honestly, I don't know my why. I'm just still
- 9:17exploring. I'm still exploring, and I guess...
- 9:20The whole premise of the psychic explorer is
- 9:22to explore different avenues. And this was just
- 9:25one other avenue to explore. So going back to
- 9:29what I was saying before, I was preparing. I
- 9:32was looking at the rules, what I could say, what
- 9:35I couldn't say, what I could do, what I couldn't
- 9:37do. I was looking at the settings. I was looking
- 9:38at how moderation works, how to nominate moderators.
- 9:43how to look at noise suppression, do I need noise
- 9:46suppression on or off, do I need to put the 18
- 9:49plus toggle on or off, and what that would mean.
- 9:51All the scaffolding was in place, but the house,
- 9:57the actual house, me, it was empty. I went on,
- 10:06I sat up, I put my candles on. I made sure the
- 10:09room was nice. I even made sure that the camera
- 10:11was on mirror so that if I was going to do a
- 10:14card reading and I showed the card to the camera,
- 10:18it would show the audience the card the right
- 10:22way around because I noticed on lots of people
- 10:24when they do their lives and they show the card
- 10:26to the camera and it's got rice on it, you can't
- 10:28read it because it's back to front just because
- 10:30the way that the cameras are set up. So I even
- 10:33did that and I just pressed live. but okay, fuck
- 10:38it, let's just do it, let's go. And I was just
- 10:42sat there for probably about five minutes, shuffling
- 10:46my brand new Lenormand cards, which I absolutely
- 10:50love, and I haven't really had much of an opportunity
- 10:53to use them, but I was just shuffling them. And
- 10:59I was shuffling them. And I was looking at the
- 11:02top right -hand corner, and... I thought, what
- 11:07do I do? Literally, no one's here. I'm online
- 11:11and I'm talking to myself, but I don't know what
- 11:13I'm talking about. I had no plan. I had no plan
- 11:17whatsoever. Do I talk about mediumship? Do I
- 11:19talk about my journey? Do I pull a card? Do I
- 11:23do a mediumship reading? What do I do when someone
- 11:27comes in? And finally someone did come in and
- 11:32it was like, go. And... I didn't know what to
- 11:36do. And I kept saying, I don't know what I'm
- 11:38doing here. I don't actually know what I'm doing.
- 11:40And Simon was watching. He was saying to me on
- 11:42text message, don't say you don't know what you're
- 11:45doing because it sounds like you don't know what
- 11:46you're doing. But when I was saying, oh, I don't
- 11:49know what I'm doing in my world, I was saying,
- 11:54I don't know what I'm doing here. I don't know
- 11:57how to do this in this environment using this
- 12:01media. But of course, I totally see how it would
- 12:04have come across like, I don't know what I'm
- 12:06doing, yet I am showing myself as a psychic in
- 12:08a medium, yet I don't know what I'm doing. And
- 12:11that is me and my communication. When I say stuff,
- 12:15it doesn't always fully verbalize. I say these
- 12:18complete sentences in my head, yet the people
- 12:22around me look at me like, what? I'll give you
- 12:25an example. We went to a restaurant for lunch
- 12:27the other day or the weekend and we went in,
- 12:30sat down, lovely guy came up to us and he said,
- 12:32can I get you guys a drink? And I looked at a
- 12:35cocktail list and I love cocktails. Anyone that
- 12:38knows me knows I love a good cocktail. And I
- 12:43was umming and ahhing, should I get a cocktail
- 12:44or should I not? And I said, in my head, I said,
- 12:48oh, I shouldn't get a cocktail because I'm terrible
- 12:50with cocktails. what I verbally said out loud
- 12:55was, oh no, cocktails, these are terrible. But
- 13:01in my head, I'm saying these are lovely cocktails,
- 13:04but I am terrible with cocktails because I never
- 13:07know which one to go for. And all that makes
- 13:09perfect sense to me. And he says to me, the waiter
- 13:13says to me, oh, we are actually changing them
- 13:15in a couple of weeks to probably more generic
- 13:18ones. And I said, oh, that's a shame. And he
- 13:20sort of looked at me. I said, because these look
- 13:23like, you don't want to get rid of the stuff
- 13:25that's really unusual. You don't want to go to
- 13:27a menu that's really generic. And he's looking
- 13:29at me like, what? Anyway, he takes my order and
- 13:33he goes away. And Simon says to me, you know
- 13:36you just said to him that these cocktails are
- 13:39terrible. And then you just said to him that
- 13:41it was such a shame that they were going to change
- 13:43the menu. And I said, oh shit. What I meant to
- 13:49say is that these cocktails are lovely, but I'm
- 13:53terrible at choosing them. But that's not what
- 13:56came out. So when he came back, I told him that.
- 13:58And he said, I did wonder. I was very confused.
- 14:00And I was like, yeah, that's just me. So when
- 14:03I say stuff, the connection between what happens
- 14:06in my brain and what happens, something gets
- 14:10lost sometimes between me thinking something
- 14:12and me saying something. has gotten me into a
- 14:15lot of trouble before. So this is just a highlight
- 14:19that I was in my head from the first minute.
- 14:23I was like, I'm in my head. I know I'm in my
- 14:25head straight away. And I've only got one viewer
- 14:29here. One person is watching me. And I started
- 14:31to sort of talk to them. And then Dana came in.
- 14:35Dana saw that I was online, and she came in,
- 14:37and she started to repost. And suddenly, bit
- 14:39by bit, All my American circle friends started
- 14:42to come in and it was really lovely. We started
- 14:44to have a nice conversation, but I didn't know
- 14:47what I was doing. Like, I didn't know how to
- 14:51handle or manage the conversation. I didn't know
- 14:55why I was there. I was just there, shuffling
- 15:00a card with a candle in the background with no
- 15:04idea where to go from there. I was hyperventilating.
- 15:09I was so hot. It later transpired that the heated
- 15:14blanket that I sit on in this chair, because
- 15:17I've got a bit of a bad back at the moment, I
- 15:19put it on. I didn't realize it was on setting
- 15:22seven out of nine. No wonder I was getting so
- 15:27hot and so clammy. I thought, oh my God, I'm
- 15:30seriously having a reaction to this live. Why
- 15:33am I so hot? I was just in such a state. I gave
- 15:38a few people some readings. I gave the wonderful
- 15:41Janelle a reading. She said it was okay, and
- 15:47I don't care what she says. I know she's been
- 15:49very polite when she said, it was great, mate,
- 15:51it was great. I could hear, and more to the point,
- 15:55I could feel I wasn't as connected as I wanted
- 16:00to be, and as I maybe should have been. Then
- 16:04I stepped into a medium shit reading and again
- 16:07I was connecting but it wasn't as on fire as
- 16:12I would have liked. And as I sit in this space,
- 16:17I'm noticing that these people are coming in.
- 16:19I'm seeing Destiny is coming, I'm seeing this
- 16:22medium called Gia, she has come in. And I'm thinking,
- 16:27oh shit, oh shit, these people are seeing me
- 16:30read for the first time. I know I'm not at my
- 16:35best here. I know that I'm out of my depth. I'm
- 16:39flailing. I'm really trying to hide it, but I
- 16:42don't think I am. And this is their first impression
- 16:45of me. And it all goes back to that, doesn't
- 16:50it? It all goes back to people's impression.
- 16:52Do I tell people about this? No, I don't. My
- 16:56everyday people, when people ask me what I do,
- 16:58I'm a gardener. I do not tell them about this
- 17:01because I worry about what they are gonna think
- 17:04of this. And again, that all goes back to that
- 17:07charge of trauma, doesn't it? That all goes back
- 17:09to me trying to please people because of the
- 17:12bullying, trying to not... out myself, out myself
- 17:19sexuality -wise, fuck it, I am out there, I am
- 17:22there. Out myself with this, it's still a very
- 17:28heavily guarded thing as far as I'm concerned.
- 17:30It's guarded because I just don't want people
- 17:35to think other of me. And I realize, looking
- 17:39back at that moment, that near hyperventilation,
- 17:44that panic. that worry it all stems back from
- 17:47that and isn't it interesting how no matter how
- 17:50far we toodle along this path or down this path
- 17:53it all comes down to self -development doesn't
- 17:56it and how many times have i heard people say
- 17:58that and how many times have i said yeah i know
- 18:00that and it's not until it smacks you in the
- 18:03face and i come off of a near two -day self -deprecating
- 18:07spiral that i realize it myself it was so uncomfortable.
- 18:12I found the whole experience really uncomfortable.
- 18:16When I come away from recording these podcasts,
- 18:19I've noticed a pattern. If I'm calm, if I'm slow,
- 18:24if I am the slower version of me, because I have
- 18:29the both, I have the hyper, yeah, let's do this,
- 18:31the excitable me, but if I lean into the slower,
- 18:36the quiet, the more thoughtful version of me,
- 18:40These episodes come across as so much more authentic.
- 18:44These episodes come across as so much more me.
- 18:48The energy that comes in and that comes through
- 18:51is more appealing, I feel, to other people. Regardless
- 18:54of what the algorithm might tell me, I feel like
- 18:58it's capturing the right people. It's a slow
- 19:01burn, and that's fine. But the people it does
- 19:05catch, the people it does attract, are my people.
- 19:09are you. And I came away from that experience
- 19:14realizing that I was trying to emulate something
- 19:18that is not my mediumship. I was trying to emulate
- 19:21something sensational. I was trying to emulate
- 19:24something showcasy, something amazing. Not what
- 19:29my mediumship is and that is slow, yet profound.
- 19:36And again, I hope I am not being too egotistical.
- 19:40I know I'm not being too egotistical because
- 19:43I have just spent the past 48 hours spiralling
- 19:48and reflecting on, oh God, I made such an idiot
- 19:53of myself and I made such a fool of myself to
- 19:57suddenly come to this realization. So I know
- 20:00that that's not ego talking. I know that my readings
- 20:03are on the more profound side when I allowed
- 20:07them to be there. When I step up to be this caricature
- 20:12of a medium, this caricature of a social media
- 20:16person, a personality that I am not, that does
- 20:19not come naturally to me, then that is when it
- 20:24goes pear shape. People in the room afterwards
- 20:27told me it was your first live mat. It was never
- 20:31going to be perfect, but you did really well.
- 20:34And I so appreciate that. Part of me thinks,
- 20:40and I mean this and I say this with love and
- 20:43respect, that the Americans in the room are going
- 20:48to say that because Americans are very much half,
- 20:53the class is half full, and they are rewarding
- 20:57and they are encouraging and they are, yes, you
- 21:02can do this. Whereas me, my culture is self -deprecating,
- 21:08is self -doubting, is self -reflecting, not necessarily
- 21:14in a positive way. It can be and it is and it
- 21:17always comes back to that eventually, but that
- 21:2048 -hour spiral after something like this, after
- 21:24an experience like putting yourself out there.
- 21:28is not something that is strange to me, and it
- 21:31does hit harder than the encouragement. It's
- 21:37a shame, but it's just the way I am wired. It's
- 21:41just the way it is. And you know what? In a way,
- 21:45I'd almost rather have that... spiral that 48
- 21:50hour death spiral and come out the other side,
- 21:53realizing what I've realized through listening
- 21:57to people that I respect, through listening to
- 22:00talks, through listening to podcasts, through
- 22:02sitting with it myself and just thinking, okay,
- 22:05how does this sit? How does this affect me? And
- 22:08how can I do this going forward in a different
- 22:11way? in a way that is more me. Because this isn't
- 22:14the first time, as I say, and that is the heart
- 22:17of it. That is the heart of all of this. Where
- 22:22else did I feel this? I felt this in early readings.
- 22:26I felt this in my first demonstrations, my first
- 22:29public demonstrations. I felt this so profoundly
- 22:34with this podcast. There is a pattern. And this
- 22:40pattern tells me how I meet, how I interact with
- 22:45feeling exposed, with feeling vulnerable. But
- 22:50crucially, I need to remind myself what happened
- 22:54after each of those crash moments, after each
- 22:57of those moments that I felt that I fell flat
- 22:59on my face. I got back up, I dusted myself off,
- 23:04and I tried again. And in the great wise words
- 23:08of Dana Willey, the spirit world does not care
- 23:12how many times you fall down. What they care
- 23:16about is how many times you get back up again.
- 23:20And as I say that, I feel very emotional. And
- 23:25I know that my team are with me because that's
- 23:29how they show their presence. And I am proud
- 23:33of myself that I did it. I'm not proud of how
- 23:37I handled it. I could have prepared for it so
- 23:43much, so much more. But if I'd have done that,
- 23:48I wouldn't have learned this vital lesson, would
- 23:50I? And hey, isn't that true for all of us? How
- 23:53many times have we all fallen down, have we all
- 23:57curled up, cringing with embarrassment to try
- 24:01it again? I am going to do it again and I'm probably
- 24:04going to do it very soon. I don't know if it'll
- 24:07be better, but I do know that when I do do it,
- 24:11I am going to be looking at a sign that I'm going
- 24:14to draw myself. I've asked Simon to draw or paint
- 24:17this for me because he's a good artist, but he's
- 24:18not done it yet. I want just above my desk here
- 24:22in this back bedroom, in this lovely studio space
- 24:24that we've created, I want a framed drawing or
- 24:28a picture or painting of a reminder for me to
- 24:32just stay calm and trust that when I do that,
- 24:36the things I produce, the things that come through
- 24:38are so much more authentic, are so much better
- 24:42received than when I perform. Than when I do
- 24:47things the way that people think that they should
- 24:50be done or at the very least when I Conform to
- 24:54how I think things should be done. I've got written
- 24:57down here that I don't know if my next one will
- 24:59be better But I do know Enough now to know that
- 25:04the only thing worse than the life that I did
- 25:07would be to not doing it again So my beautiful
- 25:12wonderful explorers If you see me on TikTok live,
- 25:16make sure you are kind. I may still be finding
- 25:21my feet, but that's okay. Okay, a bit of a gear
- 25:27shift now. Do you remember going back to the
- 25:30last solo episode when I was on the beach and
- 25:32I was telling you that I was going to start a
- 25:35new routine of meditating every single day? How
- 25:40many of you have bets I wouldn't do it? Well,
- 25:42I did it. I did do it for one day. I only did
- 25:48it for one day. And yeah, I'm afraid. I'm sorry.
- 25:52My desire for sleep overtook my want to meditate
- 25:56more often and more frequently. Did I fail? I
- 26:00don't know. I knew it probably wasn't going to
- 26:02happen. But, you know, at least I tried. I did
- 26:04try. But yeah, it didn't last. I did it for one
- 26:08day and I woke up and thought, what am I doing?
- 26:11For whose benefit am I changing my practice for?
- 26:15Why am I depriving myself of 15 minutes extra
- 26:18sleep in the morning just to see if someone else's
- 26:22method works for me? Clearly it doesn't. And
- 26:25again, talking about lessons as I was a moment
- 26:28ago, that is a lesson for me. That is a lesson
- 26:31that I don't need to follow everyone else's practice
- 26:34to make it work. I can develop my own practice
- 26:38and what I have noticed over the past few weeks
- 26:41is that intention is very powerful. When I go
- 26:45into a practice space, if I go in there with
- 26:47the intention that I want to bring someone through
- 26:50or that this is going to be a successful reading,
- 26:53it tends to be. I have had a bit of a wobble
- 26:56recently and I do feel that that is from or rather
- 26:59off the back of this first attempt at the TikTok
- 27:02live and again. the death spiral that that threw
- 27:05me into. Or maybe I'm just in one of those expansion
- 27:09phases where things slow down a bit before they
- 27:12open back up again and they ramp back up. I don't
- 27:15know. Stay tuned, have a listen, find out. Okay,
- 27:20just a couple of things just to mention before
- 27:22I wrap up this episode. Firstly, are you in your
- 27:26own development? Are you looking for a place
- 27:28where you can practice with like -minded people?

- 27:35practice your oracle, whatever it is that you
- 27:37do. I am holding a free online space every Wednesday

- 27:44with Sunday and Wednesday Explorers. This is

- 27:54into a place where I think where I want it to
- 27:56be now. So if you are interested in joining me
- 28:00and other people for a lovely, very friendly

- 28:06say that this is not a teaching space, this is
- 28:08purely just for practice. So if you are already

- 28:42in the world, please feel free to join. You are
- 28:45most, most welcome. Also, The very next episode
- 28:50you have got coming up is a very special one.
- 28:53It is with the phenomenal Anthony Lights. If
- 28:56you do not know of Anthony, check him out. He's
- 29:00appeared on lots and lots of podcasts. He has
- 29:02his own podcast with the wonderful Hayley B.
- 29:06And he so very generously gave his time to me
- 29:09to record an episode all about Pride sexuality.
- 29:13I did a Pride episode last year with the wonderful
- 29:16Delana Luna. That episode was a very intellectual
- 29:20episode. I love it. I do love it because, as
- 29:22I said when I recorded that, every time I listen
- 29:24to it, I get something new. There's a new layer.
- 29:27With Anthony, we talk a bit more about his journey.
- 29:31We talk more about sexuality and religion. versus
- 29:35spirituality because he was brought up in a very
- 29:37conservative household. We talk about how religion
- 29:40and how the views of others around him affected
- 29:45him. It's a really good conversation. I'm really
- 29:49looking forward to sharing that one with you.
- 29:53On that note, I'm going to love you and leave
- 29:56you. Have a wonderful rest of your day. Sending
- 29:58you all my love. Take care, guys. Bye.
