- 0:00Speaker 1: Because fuck you, that's why, is a founding member of
- 0:02Speaker 1: the Odd Pods Media Network.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Hello, my name is Aaron Randolph, and today I'm going
- 0:09Speaker 2: to make something less than podcast history. I'm going to
- 0:13Speaker 2: put up five thousand pennies of my own money. Then
- 0:17Speaker 2: I'm better at game shows than you. So if you're
- 0:20Speaker 2: intelligent enough and quick enough, and if you've got nerves
- 0:23Speaker 2: of steel, no not even steal nerves of rubber, no
- 0:27Speaker 2: nerves of cotton. Even though you can win Aaron Randolph's money,
- 0:36Speaker 2: guess the surveys and be a stute play your cards
- 0:40Speaker 2: right and win the loot on Card Sharks. Hey, everybody,
- 0:46Speaker 2: welcome to win Aaron Randolph's money. It's time for the
- 0:49Speaker 2: third episode in what is supposed to be me standing
- 0:53Speaker 2: tall fighting off all comers. But the fact is I
- 0:56Speaker 2: have not won one episode yet. I tied the first
- 1:00Speaker 2: and lost the second. So we're gonna see if I
- 1:03Speaker 2: can't put a put a little, a little, a little win.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Just just one W in the W column. It's all
- 1:08Speaker 2: I'm looking for.
- 1:09Speaker 3: You're not going to steal my bit, Aaron?
- 1:11Speaker 4: Like serious, Well, we need a host for Card Sharks,
- 1:17Speaker 4: and thankfully, someone very kindly stepped in to fill those shoes.
- 1:21Speaker 2: It's DJ's antis. What's going on, DJ.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Well, what's going on? Guys. It's great to be back
- 1:26Speaker 3: with you. I I love this. Uh as of now though,
- 1:30Speaker 3: or not now, but as of the game starting, I
- 1:32Speaker 3: will no longer be DJ's Antis. I will be robbed
- 1:34Speaker 3: my banks. So I just want you to be aware
- 1:36Speaker 3: of that.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Okay, fair enough problem. Yeah, as always, we're gonna start, Uh,
- 1:44Speaker 2: We're gonna start this segment off just talking about the game.
- 1:47Speaker 2: We're gonna start with the history of Card Sharks. Yes,
- 1:50Speaker 2: the format of simply guessing whether the next card in
- 1:53Speaker 2: sequence would be higher or lower somehow managed to be
- 1:55Speaker 2: exciting enough to have four separate runs, three on network TV,
- 2:00Speaker 2: and none of them lasting more than three years. But
- 2:03Speaker 2: the show is always pretty great. Two players face off
- 2:07Speaker 2: in a best of three set of games. Players each
- 2:09Speaker 2: start with five cards drawn from their own decks and
- 2:12Speaker 2: get asked a question which surveyed one hundred people. One
- 2:15Speaker 2: player tries to guess how many of them chose a
- 2:17Speaker 2: particular option, while their opponent guesses whether the actual answer
- 2:21Speaker 2: is higher or lower. If they're right, they gain control
- 2:24Speaker 2: of the cards, but if not, the original guesser does.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Whoever wins control is shown their first card and given
- 2:29Speaker 2: the option to change it for the top card of
- 2:31Speaker 2: their deck. They then guess whether the next face down
- 2:34Speaker 2: card is higher or lower. If they're correct, they may
- 2:36Speaker 2: move on and guess again, or freeze and keep their
- 2:40Speaker 2: positions safe while not allowing their opponent to gain any ground.
- 2:43Speaker 2: If they're wrong or the next card is the same rank,
- 2:47Speaker 2: they lose all cards turned over except what they started with,
- 2:50Speaker 2: and their opponent gets a crack at their cards, though
- 2:53Speaker 2: they don't get the option to change the first one.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Once either player turns over the last of five cards successfully,
- 2:59Speaker 2: they the game. In the first two rounds, the fourth
- 3:02Speaker 2: and final question must produce a winner, so the winner
- 3:05Speaker 2: of the question gets to choose whether to play their
- 3:07Speaker 2: own cards with a card change or to pass to
- 3:10Speaker 2: their opponent, who gets no card change, and if the
- 3:13Speaker 2: player fails to guess the card at any point, their
- 3:16Speaker 2: opponent wins. If each player wins around, the third round
- 3:19Speaker 2: is usually shortened with a line of only three cards
- 3:22Speaker 2: and a maximum of three questions. Oh wow, half of
- 3:27Speaker 2: my stuff got completely destroyed. All right, Well, I'm just
- 3:31Speaker 2: gonna wing it. The original run from nineteen seventy eight
- 3:34Speaker 2: to nineteen eighty one was hosted by Jim Perry, and
- 3:38Speaker 2: he was a Canadian game show host, and he was
- 3:40Speaker 2: probably probably I don't know, the most I don't know
- 3:46Speaker 2: game showiest game hosts. I guess I wouldn't say passable.
- 3:50Speaker 2: He's a very likable guy. He's just affable. He's not
- 3:54Speaker 2: super bland, but he's not super outrageous either. Perfect host,
- 3:59Speaker 2: and yeah, it was. It was a good run. Probably
- 4:01Speaker 2: the most notable thing about it was that it is
- 4:04Speaker 2: the only version that featured somebody taking the bonus round
- 4:08Speaker 2: for the maximum amount of money. Really, Norma Brown wagered
- 4:13Speaker 2: everything on every single guest and got them all right
- 4:16Speaker 2: to win a maximum back then of twenty eight eight
- 4:20Speaker 2: hundred dollars.
- 4:21Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, it's insane.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Which is what year was that. I think it was
- 4:26Speaker 2: nineteen seventy nine.
- 4:27Speaker 5: Oh shit.
- 4:28Speaker 2: You can find it real easy on YouTube card Sharks.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Norma Brown. She just shoots the work. She's this lady
- 4:33Speaker 2: from like Kentucky or somewhere. Jesus is real set shooting
- 4:36Speaker 2: the works. We're going shooting the works.
- 4:38Speaker 5: You know, she crushes blackjacks.
- 4:40Speaker 2: She must be she must be devastating in a casino on.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Saron not dinner Rubber. Are you curious what that would
- 4:49Speaker 3: equate to to today's money if she had done it? Uh?
- 4:51Speaker 2: Yeah, if you got that fixed.
- 4:52Speaker 3: I did. That's why I asked you what year was?
- 4:55Speaker 3: It is one hundred twenty eight forty dollars and nine
- 4:58Speaker 3: cents that she would have wanted today.
- 5:00Speaker 5: I could take that.
- 5:02Speaker 2: It's a big win. Then that round eventually just passed away.
- 5:07Speaker 2: They did make one rule change towards the end. You know,
- 5:10Speaker 2: during the money cards, if the rank of the next
- 5:12Speaker 2: card was the same, you lost your bet and you
- 5:15Speaker 2: couldn't have possibly won it, which is seemingly unfair. Yeah,
- 5:18Speaker 2: So instead they made it a push, so if a
- 5:21Speaker 2: tie card came up, you would keep your wager, you
- 5:24Speaker 2: would not lose it, but you wouldn't gain anything either.
- 5:26Speaker 5: That's fair.
- 5:28Speaker 2: The second run was from nineteen eighty six to nineteen
- 5:31Speaker 2: eighty nine, if I were called correctly, and it was
- 5:33Speaker 2: hosted by there were two guys who hosted it. Bob
- 5:36Speaker 2: you Banks hosted the network version and Bill Rafferty hosted
- 5:42Speaker 2: the syndicated version for I think a year or so,
- 5:46Speaker 2: and these runs were the I feel like the show
- 5:50Speaker 2: was a little bit glitzier like it. It was much
- 5:52Speaker 2: more colorful for sure. Yeah, the original card Charge run
- 5:55Speaker 2: was very like dark purple, like kind of paste dolls,
- 5:59Speaker 2: you know, not super colorful, but like the nineteen eighty
- 6:02Speaker 2: nine run was like a rainbow in your face, like blue,
- 6:05Speaker 2: red and green everywhere. Like it was just crazy.
- 6:07Speaker 1: He got all this stuff left over from the seventies guys,
- 6:10Speaker 1: let's use it.
- 6:10Speaker 2: And they also made the dealers a bit more of
- 6:13Speaker 2: a part of the show. They gave the girls something
- 6:15Speaker 2: to do other than stand there and look pretty, so
- 6:17Speaker 2: Bob would talk to them every once in a while,
- 6:21Speaker 2: but otherwise they were still just kind of glorified eye candy,
- 6:24Speaker 2: which not great for representation of women at the time,
- 6:27Speaker 2: but whatever.
- 6:28Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean that's how I sold it.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Yeah, but the show did pretty good. Bob E. Banks
- 6:32Speaker 2: is a much more engaging, much more like a fourth
- 6:36Speaker 2: right guy. He's he's got jokes too, He's very funny.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Bill Rafferty I feel is underappreciated his game show host
- 6:43Speaker 2: but he only did the job for like four years
- 6:44Speaker 2: and then he quit, so you know, yeah, well, I
- 6:47Speaker 2: mean game show hosts in general. He did. He did
- 6:50Speaker 2: car charts for only a year, I think. But yeah,
- 6:53Speaker 2: he was I thought he was brilliant, but that run
- 6:56Speaker 2: eventually started petering out. They started adding all sorts of gimmicks,
- 6:59Speaker 2: like the onus round gained like three new features. At first,
- 7:02Speaker 2: they started throwing prize cards into the decks that could
- 7:05Speaker 2: come up randomly depending on when you where you cut
- 7:08Speaker 2: the deck to start the game, and if you got it,
- 7:10Speaker 2: and if you won that game, you got to keep
- 7:12Speaker 2: that prize. Yay, But it just kind of slowed the
- 7:15Speaker 2: game down, honestly. And then the money cards. There would
- 7:18Speaker 2: be jokers hidden in the deck, and for every joker
- 7:20Speaker 2: you got, you got an additional chance to try and
- 7:22Speaker 2: win a car, oh by picking a card from a
- 7:25Speaker 2: line of seven, six of which said no and one
- 7:28Speaker 2: said car. If you managed to get it, you won
- 7:29Speaker 2: the car.
- 7:30Speaker 7: Yay.
- 7:31Speaker 2: But since there are only two jokers in a deck,
- 7:33Speaker 2: the maximumount of guesses you could get would be three.
- 7:37Speaker 2: No less than fifty chance even in the best of circumstances.
- 7:40Speaker 2: A car, but a car. Yeah, but it just again,
- 7:43Speaker 2: it kind of slowed the game down. The Car Sharks
- 7:46Speaker 2: was pretty much only cash to this point, so it
- 7:48Speaker 2: was kind of weird At the same time, and the
- 7:51Speaker 2: show eventually did peter out and die in nineteen eighty nine.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Now there was a reinvention in two thousand and one,
- 7:58Speaker 2: hosted by hosted White Wallpaper in a suit literally like
- 8:04Speaker 2: the blandest white guy I've ever seen in my life,
- 8:07Speaker 2: Like almost no personality whatsoever. However, this version of the
- 8:10Speaker 2: show did have a black female dealer. Oh nice, so
- 8:14Speaker 2: you know, a little progressive, Yeah, a little progressive. I
- 8:16Speaker 2: appreciated that. But instead of instead of the surveys, now
- 8:21Speaker 2: they had these things. There was one row of cards,
- 8:24Speaker 2: seven cards, and players alternated, so it was whoever guessed
- 8:27Speaker 2: the seventh and final card won the round. Oh, and
- 8:30Speaker 2: they'd have to play two rounds. They played pretty quick,
- 8:32Speaker 2: but at any time they could turn in what they
- 8:34Speaker 2: called a clip chip, and then they would show a
- 8:37Speaker 2: clip of something happening and they had to guess the outcome,
- 8:41Speaker 2: Like the example I saw, Like in the clip there
- 8:43Speaker 2: was like four guys were dancing for whatever reason, and
- 8:46Speaker 2: one of them pulled a guy aside from the onlooking
- 8:49Speaker 2: public and was like, man, I really got to go
- 8:50Speaker 2: to the bathroom. You might step in up there and
- 8:52Speaker 2: dancing for just like a minute. So I can run
- 8:53Speaker 2: to the bathroom, and they were like, does he do it?
- 8:55Speaker 2: Does he not do it?
- 8:57Speaker 8: You know?
- 8:57Speaker 2: And if they guessed right, they got to change the car.
- 9:00Speaker 2: But of course, lucky, being what it was, the card
- 9:02Speaker 2: could always be worse. So it was just like a
- 9:05Speaker 2: chance at having something, a chance at another chance. It
- 9:08Speaker 2: just seemed to another failure.
- 9:10Speaker 5: Seems it was.
- 9:12Speaker 2: It was very strange, like.
- 9:13Speaker 3: Why that was the last game, but Fuddles weren't a
- 9:16Speaker 3: last game. Fuddy yeah, Fuddles previously.
- 9:19Speaker 8: It's they've probably added clip things because the whole YouTube
- 9:21Speaker 8: craze possibly.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Two thousand and one, so as possible. I don't know.
- 9:27Speaker 2: All I know is I didn't like it. I'm like,
- 9:28Speaker 2: this sucks. That was not card Shark. So card Sharks
- 9:32Speaker 2: is all but surveys and fun questions and stuff like
- 9:35Speaker 2: this was just kind of like.
- 9:36Speaker 5: Lame figuring out how weird America really is.
- 9:38Speaker 2: In any event, I'm surprised it lasted two seasons, but
- 9:41Speaker 2: it did only last two seasons. Finally, we have the
- 9:44Speaker 2: Joel McHale run, which this is saved on my Facebook,
- 9:47Speaker 2: so I do have these facts and figures. H He
- 9:49Speaker 2: hosted it from twenty nineteen twenty twenty one, and honestly,
- 9:52Speaker 2: he's a great host, he's very funny, but he just
- 9:55Speaker 2: never seems like he wants to be there. The whole
- 9:59Speaker 2: time I was watching the episode of Card Sharks, I
- 10:02Speaker 2: was like, dude just wants to be anywhere else. He's
- 10:05Speaker 2: just not happy. He's making these funny lines up and
- 10:09Speaker 2: he's getting least, but he's just like, oh, man, you
- 10:13Speaker 2: just said, Joel, this is his body lineguage just gives
- 10:17Speaker 2: off like you don't want to be here. I want
- 10:18Speaker 2: to be somewhere else. I've However, this is the Big
- 10:24Speaker 2: Money version of the show, so now each players have
- 10:27Speaker 2: ten cards, they only play one game instead of best
- 10:31Speaker 2: out of three, and there are five total questions to
- 10:34Speaker 2: get to the end. I honestly don't believe anybody gets
- 10:37Speaker 2: to the end, honestly because five questions to get there
- 10:41Speaker 2: seems like not enough. But whoever wins that game gets
- 10:45Speaker 2: ten thousand dollars and they play a slightly altered version
- 10:49Speaker 2: of the money cards. Now there's just seven cards in
- 10:51Speaker 2: a row, there's no additional amounts, and unfortunately, if you push,
- 10:56Speaker 2: if you get two identical cards, you actually lose your bet.
- 10:58Speaker 2: On this version, However, if you if you played it
- 11:02Speaker 2: like Norma and you got all the way, you could
- 11:04Speaker 2: actually leave with six hundred and forty thousand dollars.
- 11:07Speaker 5: That's today money.
- 11:08Speaker 2: That's today money.
- 11:09Speaker 9: That's today money, fudge now yesterday money, today today money.
- 11:13Speaker 2: And that ladies and gentlemen. That is the history of
- 11:15Speaker 2: car Sharks, as I was able to research it.
- 11:19Speaker 6: That's crazy. I don't remember that show at all.
- 11:24Speaker 3: I only really remember the Bob You Banks if I'm
- 11:27Speaker 3: being honest, like, that's really the only run I remember.
- 11:29Speaker 2: The first one that comes to mind. But I watched
- 11:32Speaker 2: a lot of the Jim Perry run on YouTube when
- 11:35Speaker 2: YouTube was like first starting and people just started posting
- 11:38Speaker 2: full television shows on there. Yeah, you know, the YouTube
- 11:42Speaker 2: would scrub all the popular ones, but they didn't give
- 11:44Speaker 2: a shit about game shows, so game shows would stay
- 11:45Speaker 2: it forever. So I just I just watched as many
- 11:48Speaker 2: episodes I could. When I was in college, I'm like,
- 11:50Speaker 2: fucking I'm gonna watch game shows. I love game shows.
- 11:53Speaker 2: So yeah, so I watched a lot of the Jim
- 11:55Speaker 2: Perry run then, But I grew up on the Bob You.
- 11:58Speaker 5: Banks one thanks.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Six seven years old. I was watching and they had
- 12:02Speaker 2: some fun questions in there, like occasionally they'd get like
- 12:05Speaker 2: ten guests, like they'd get like ten professional wrestlers or
- 12:11Speaker 2: ten bodybuilders or you know, ten beauty contest winners, you know,
- 12:15Speaker 2: stuff like that, and they'd have survey questions just for them,
- 12:19Speaker 2: and so they would they would do they would occasionally
- 12:21Speaker 2: do that as and it was kind of fun. Honestly,
- 12:23Speaker 2: some of some of that stuff. I didn't actually mind
- 12:25Speaker 2: that change to the gameplay. I thought that was kind
- 12:27Speaker 2: of genius because it actually makes it like much more
- 12:30Speaker 2: likely that you're gonna get its spot on because you
- 12:33Speaker 2: have a one on eleven chance you can say zero
- 12:35Speaker 2: to ten, you know, you have a much better chance
- 12:37Speaker 2: of getting the five hundred dollars bonus for getting it
- 12:40Speaker 2: exactly right if there's only.
- 12:42Speaker 6: Ten people just from so you know, it's that's fair.
- 12:45Speaker 2: So it wound up making the game more exciting, and
- 12:47Speaker 2: it was also it was it was one of those
- 12:49Speaker 2: rare gimmicks that actually worked, or at least it felt
- 12:52Speaker 2: in my opinion it worked. But yeah, I'm monopolizing conversation here.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Let's turn to our host. DJ's anthis j why did
- 13:00Speaker 2: you choose this particular game?
- 13:03Speaker 3: Oh?
- 13:04Speaker 2: Sorry, Rob. No on the other guy, you look a
- 13:10Speaker 2: lot like the other guy.
- 13:10Speaker 3: I look, you do, I do?
- 13:13Speaker 2: You were wearing a suit, which I feel like throws
- 13:14Speaker 2: me off a little bit, Rob, Rob, Why did you
- 13:17Speaker 2: choose this particular guy?
- 13:18Speaker 3: I just have a simple question, who the fuck is Carl? No?
- 13:21Speaker 3: But seriously, like No, I know you, you know, I
- 13:26Speaker 3: know I'm joking when it The Rob thing was really
- 13:28Speaker 3: just I it was kind of my homage to Bobby Banks,
- 13:30Speaker 3: if I'm being honest, that's coming from No.
- 13:34Speaker 2: This was.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Aaron you said to yourself. It's kind of the one
- 13:38Speaker 3: you grew up on. I think I probably grew up
- 13:40Speaker 3: on it, and I think I grew up on in syndicated.
- 13:43Speaker 3: And I don't know if you found this in your research,
- 13:44Speaker 3: but I have a feeling it ran all of it
- 13:46Speaker 3: in syndication eventually, like after they aired initially, like they
- 13:49Speaker 3: just ran them all And.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Now I owned by Game Show Network or Buzzer.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Or where one of those things. Yeah, but I remember,
- 13:57Speaker 3: I just ticularly remember, you know, staying home sick from
- 14:00Speaker 3: school and you'd have that run of game shows. You'd
- 14:02Speaker 3: have like prices right express your lock time.
- 14:07Speaker 2: You just had the best shows. Yeah, that part of
- 14:12Speaker 2: being sick. Yeah, like this being sick.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Yeah, so, and uh in terms of why I selected it,
- 14:22Speaker 3: all of those ones I just listed off, like press
- 14:24Speaker 3: your luck, price is right, and this, I felt like
- 14:26Speaker 3: this was ready the easiest one to translate to this
- 14:28Speaker 3: format comparatively, So you know, it'd be a little hard
- 14:32Speaker 3: to do the prices right here, I think, I mean,
- 14:34Speaker 3: you might be able to do one of the pricing games,
- 14:36Speaker 3: but not a whole like go at the price is right,
- 14:39Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying.
- 14:40Speaker 2: So you think so, but I'm going to do it.
- 14:43Speaker 3: I can't wait to see it. But anyway, there's you know,
- 14:47Speaker 3: and then and then I think you guys had already
- 14:49Speaker 3: done pressed your lock, so that kind of you know
- 14:51Speaker 3: so or if I recall, I.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Believe you have our own version, your own version right instead, Yeah,
- 14:59Speaker 2: we are. We are going to play that at some point.
- 15:01Speaker 2: I will I will play someone take your chances.
- 15:05Speaker 3: But uh no, I also just enjoy I've always I've
- 15:08Speaker 3: always liked I've always had a thing for card games
- 15:11Speaker 3: that I can remember, like I've been playing. You guys
- 15:14Speaker 3: are a computer guys, and and all these a little
- 15:16Speaker 3: bit younger, but still he'll respect this I remember playing
- 15:19Speaker 3: like Blackjack on the Apple to e for like no
- 15:22Speaker 3: you know, like you know and and library Yeah you know,
- 15:26Speaker 3: so I I I don't know. I've just always been
- 15:28Speaker 3: in the card games. So I thought this would be
- 15:30Speaker 3: a fun game to play with you guys. And it's
- 15:31Speaker 3: a simple the concept simple. I get to find silly
- 15:34Speaker 3: questions they ask you guys, which I also wanted to
- 15:36Speaker 3: think is gonna be fun. Like I when I was
- 15:37Speaker 3: doing the survey questions. I won't get in any of
- 15:39Speaker 3: them now obviously, but like I went for like the
- 15:42Speaker 3: most b fy t W ones that I could find
- 15:44Speaker 3: is oh I cannot you knows, as opposed to like
- 15:49Speaker 3: you know, uh, you know, would you wear a suit?
- 15:51Speaker 3: You know of one hundred business for uss who would
- 15:53Speaker 3: wear a suit to work? You know? Or something like that,
- 15:56Speaker 3: you know what I mean. Like I I went for
- 15:57Speaker 3: the ones that I felt like fit you all the ast.
- 16:00Speaker 3: So I think we have a good time with it.
- 16:02Speaker 6: You know, there's how many bring their own supplies?
- 16:05Speaker 3: Yeah, right, exactly, you know, so you know. But yeah, overall,
- 16:08Speaker 3: I just think it's a fun game, and I think
- 16:10Speaker 3: it's it's a fun concevidence.
- 16:12Speaker 10: One of them.
- 16:12Speaker 3: It's one of It's one of the ones that sticks
- 16:15Speaker 3: out in my memory. Like I said, I think the
- 16:16Speaker 3: three that stick out the most for me, that Press
- 16:18Speaker 3: your Luck and price is right. But I'm sure I
- 16:20Speaker 3: watched other ones too, but these are the three. Yeah,
- 16:23Speaker 3: that's awesome, all right?
- 16:25Speaker 2: And what about you too? I know you said you
- 16:27Speaker 2: have no memory of seeing this?
- 16:28Speaker 9: Is that?
- 16:28Speaker 6: Honestly?
- 16:29Speaker 8: This is one of those game shows that I must
- 16:31Speaker 8: have missed past, like all the all big.
- 16:33Speaker 6: Because there was always the main ones like.
- 16:35Speaker 8: Jeopardy and you know, yeah, we will deal with ordeal,
- 16:38Speaker 8: Wheel of Fortune like that.
- 16:41Speaker 6: So like maybe.
- 16:42Speaker 2: We're more of a nighttime game show guy.
- 16:44Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, honestly, yeah, because I remember my sister dragging
- 16:48Speaker 8: me out of my bedroom a lot and us watching
- 16:50Speaker 8: like Trees Company and like every game show you think,
- 16:54Speaker 8: oh Gods Company and in living color.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Yeah, man, No, that's fair, that's fair.
- 17:03Speaker 5: That's a good show, brilliant.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Right. What about you, Stevie, do you have any familiarity
- 17:09Speaker 2: with Car Shirks at all?
- 17:10Speaker 5: I do.
- 17:11Speaker 7: I watched it too, as or as well? Uh you Banks?
- 17:14Speaker 7: And who was after this? I remember watching that one more.
- 17:16Speaker 2: I think the two thousand and one version. You think the.
- 17:23Speaker 5: Who was it was in nineties ninety one, there was
- 17:26Speaker 5: no cartoons.
- 17:27Speaker 3: You're probably must have been I remember watching him because you.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Probably saw reruns and syndication more.
- 17:33Speaker 5: Than like this what it was.
- 17:35Speaker 7: And the same thing is usually when I was homesick
- 17:37Speaker 7: or whatever, they all got chicken pox. We're gonna do
- 17:40Speaker 7: watch TV and watch all these game shows are just
- 17:43Speaker 7: fun because you can play along with like, yeah, man,
- 17:45Speaker 7: play along with them, and the concept is pretty basic,
- 17:48Speaker 7: you know. I mean for me, it was great. I
- 17:50Speaker 7: had a fifty to fifty shot of winning.
- 17:52Speaker 5: It was awesome. It was like, this is kind of nice.
- 17:54Speaker 5: I don't feel like such.
- 17:55Speaker 3: A ironically, you have that today too, I know. Yeah.
- 18:00Speaker 2: So here's the way this is gonna work. You know,
- 18:03Speaker 2: obviously were we shoot to be an hour long podcast,
- 18:06Speaker 2: and playing a single game of Card Sharks, even with
- 18:09Speaker 2: the two out of three can run pretty fast. So
- 18:11Speaker 2: we're gonna play two full games.
- 18:13Speaker 5: Cool.
- 18:14Speaker 2: First, you two are going to play because you've each
- 18:18Speaker 2: gotten a chance to play me at win Aaron Randolph's money.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Now we're gonna find out which one of you will
- 18:22Speaker 2: earn this chance to play against me. So you're gonna
- 18:25Speaker 2: play against each other. It's going to be a practice
- 18:28Speaker 2: round for both of you, so you're gonna get practice
- 18:30Speaker 2: that I.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Don't get me too.
- 18:32Speaker 2: And also and then after that, whoever wins that game
- 18:37Speaker 2: is going to face me. Okay, and whoever wins the
- 18:42Speaker 2: best two out of three at that point wins and
- 18:44Speaker 2: either gets fifty dollars from me if it's one of you,
- 18:47Speaker 2: or keeps it to myself, but you will still get
- 18:52Speaker 2: you also get a five dollars token donation to the
- 18:54Speaker 2: charity of your choice.
- 18:56Speaker 5: Like that.
- 18:58Speaker 2: All right, Well, I think that's been long enough. Let's
- 19:01Speaker 2: get to our first break. When we come back, we're
- 19:04Speaker 2: gonna play our first game of card Sharks, and we're
- 19:06Speaker 2: gonna find out whether it's Stevie or Augie who faces

- 20:39Speaker 3: and veteran podcaster. He's known as Stevie. He's gonna be
- 20:42Speaker 3: player number two. I also known as Midnight Smoke.

- 20:50Speaker 3: I mean, I mean, if that's what you want to

- 21:09Speaker 9: I can't even say that, squatch we are and.
- 21:12Speaker 2: You can't think that.
- 21:13Speaker 6: I think my brain just like.
- 21:16Speaker 5: I tried to spell it, said yeah like that.
- 21:20Speaker 8: Anyways, I'm from western New York where there's a lot
- 21:24Speaker 8: of trees and it's very green.
- 21:29Speaker 3: All right, all right, and and and Steve Stevie, tell
- 21:34Speaker 3: us about yourself.
- 21:35Speaker 7: Me, I'm not interesting in any way, shape or form,
- 21:39Speaker 7: but I am an Internet personality of sersonality.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Alright, personality to talk today? All right, So what we're
- 21:49Speaker 3: gonna do with you guys today is we are going
- 21:51Speaker 3: to play card charts. Then the concept of this game
- 21:53Speaker 3: is simply as it was kind of explained it in
- 21:56Speaker 3: the opening. But we are going to do a best
- 21:58Speaker 3: of three games. There's going to be four questions per game.
- 22:01Speaker 3: If we get to the fourth question, whoever answers the
- 22:04Speaker 3: question correctly will get the choice of whether to play
- 22:06Speaker 3: or pass, and then the loser of the run from
- 22:09Speaker 3: that will win that particular game. Should we get that far,
- 22:12Speaker 3: I will remind you of that once we get there.
- 22:14Speaker 3: Should we get there, We are going to start our
- 22:18Speaker 3: game off by asking questions one hundred person survey questions
- 22:22Speaker 3: to one of you, and you the other person will
- 22:26Speaker 3: then tell me if they believe it is higher or
- 22:29Speaker 3: lower than the person's gas, and now will determine who
- 22:31Speaker 3: gets control of the cards. Hell yeah, as I was
- 22:35Speaker 3: informed to me, Oggie, you won last b FY tw game.
- 22:39Speaker 3: So you are going to start us off today with
- 22:42Speaker 3: the questions. You're going to get your You're going to
- 22:44Speaker 3: get the first guess of the question. So I am
- 22:46Speaker 3: going to ask you our first question. Our first question
- 22:49Speaker 3: is we surveyed one hundred doctors generally speaking the smoking
- 22:53Speaker 3: marijuana lead a person to hard drugs? How many doctors
- 22:57Speaker 3: thought that smoking marijuana leads to harder drugs?
- 23:00Speaker 7: Uh?
- 23:01Speaker 3: Oh, I am.
- 23:02Speaker 6: Honestly wow, that's a good question.
- 23:05Speaker 3: It's coming out because that was a mistake. Sorry, go ahead.
- 23:10Speaker 5: I was like, somebody here.
- 23:11Speaker 8: His answer honestly, honestly, I think it's closer to like
- 23:16Speaker 8: thirty thirty thirty?
- 23:18Speaker 3: Is that your answer?
- 23:20Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 23:20Speaker 3: Okay, one second, we'll put lock that in. Is your
- 23:23Speaker 3: answer dirty?
- 23:25Speaker 2: Here we go? All right?
- 23:26Speaker 3: Now smoke seem you, sir get to said tell us,
- 23:30Speaker 3: do you think that the number that the number of
- 23:33Speaker 3: doctors who thought leading smoking marijuana leads to harder drugs
- 23:37Speaker 3: is higher or lower than thirty.
- 23:40Speaker 5: I'm gonna say higher.
- 23:45Speaker 3: You're gonna say higher. Be okay, it's higher. Smoke you
- 23:51Speaker 3: are Stevie, you are saying higher. The answer that number,
- 23:55Speaker 3: the number of one hundred doctors the thing that's smoking
- 23:58Speaker 3: old marijuana leads a harder drugs is fifty three.
- 24:05Speaker 2: True? At least half are they?
- 24:08Speaker 7: Though?
- 24:09Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 24:09Speaker 2: Well, you guys just smoke marijuana. That's it. You've never
- 24:12Speaker 2: gotten anything harder, In fact, anything harder. You did it
- 24:16Speaker 2: first and then came down to marijuana.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Yeah, holy fuck.
- 24:22Speaker 2: I mean troops don't count, right, I mean yeah, technically yeah,
- 24:27Speaker 2: they're harder.
- 24:28Speaker 6: I guess so, I don't know anyways, I guess right,
- 24:32Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 24:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, Steemy. That means you have control of
- 24:37Speaker 3: the cards here. You get you get to go first.
- 24:39Speaker 3: We're going to show you your base card, and you
- 24:41Speaker 3: are gonna have the right You can change this first
- 24:44Speaker 3: card if you would like to. So your first card
- 24:46Speaker 3: is a Ford. Would you like to change this or
- 24:49Speaker 3: you want to go higher or lower? Oh, let's go higher, higher, yeah,
- 24:54Speaker 3: we got this ride. So the next card you can
- 24:57Speaker 3: you can change this game. You can keep it and
- 24:59Speaker 3: you go higher or lower lower?
- 25:04Speaker 7: All right, yeah, three three, So you can go as
- 25:11Speaker 7: higher lower, or you can freeze it here Stevie. Oh no,
- 25:14Speaker 7: we're gonna go higher, sir, higher, All right, all right,
- 25:19Speaker 7: we're out of six now.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Actually, the changing cards is only on the base car
- 25:22Speaker 3: the first cards. That's my apology there. You can't change
- 25:25Speaker 3: this card, so you either can free you can you
- 25:27Speaker 3: can change on the next time, so you can either
- 25:29Speaker 3: freeze it here or go for your next guess. That's
- 25:32Speaker 3: up to you. If you freeze it here, you will
- 25:33Speaker 3: only have to guess one card to win the entire round.
- 25:36Speaker 2: It's only one deck per person, right, You also keep
- 25:39Speaker 2: away from his cards. If you get it wrong, you're
- 25:42Speaker 2: gonna go all the way back to the base and then.
- 25:44Speaker 3: Yes, then Augie will go and then it will be
- 25:47Speaker 3: freaking nature and get them all right on the first nature,
- 25:52Speaker 3: you know what I'll test fight against and I'll freeze here,
- 25:58Speaker 3: freeze here, Okay, so I mean that, so then it
- 26:00Speaker 3: stops here, so you're good. You're doing good. Yeah, all right,
- 26:03Speaker 3: so we're free is there and We are going to
- 26:04Speaker 3: move on to our next question, and uh, Stevie, this
- 26:10Speaker 3: one's gonna start with you. You're going to start with
- 26:12Speaker 3: this question. We surveyed one hundred people. Have you ever
- 26:17Speaker 3: dreamed you were naked in public? How many people have
- 26:20Speaker 3: said they've got a dream that they were naked in public? M?
- 26:25Speaker 5: Eighty seven?
- 26:26Speaker 2: Eighty seven percent.
- 26:27Speaker 3: I need a solid number, like.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Hundred people.
- 26:31Speaker 3: Yeah, it's true, sorry, Stevie said, is a high number
- 26:38Speaker 3: of eighty seven? Do you think this is going to
- 26:40Speaker 3: be higher or lower than Stevie's guess?
- 26:42Speaker 6: It's gonna be lower.
- 26:44Speaker 3: Yeh, it's gonna be lower.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Yeah, it has to really.
- 26:47Speaker 12: No.
- 26:48Speaker 3: The number of people who said they have dreamt they
- 26:50Speaker 3: have been naked in public is.
- 26:57Speaker 5: Most of my dreams? Is me naked in public?
- 27:01Speaker 2: That's what poisoned your thinking? Yeah, actually have the like.
- 27:06Speaker 6: How many people ran in place?
- 27:08Speaker 2: That'd be different.
- 27:08Speaker 3: What that is? Going to give Agie control of the
- 27:13Speaker 3: cards here?
- 27:14Speaker 1: My mind is kind of breaking right now.
- 27:19Speaker 8: Wow, it's that freaking nature for you.
- 27:25Speaker 3: All right, So we're gonna give Aggie control of the
- 27:27Speaker 3: cards here. Your base card starts off with an ace.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Do you want to change?
- 27:31Speaker 6: YEA, Well it can only be lower.
- 27:34Speaker 3: Right, you you want to go lower there? All right?
- 27:42Speaker 3: We got a pen. You can freeze it, or you
- 27:46Speaker 3: can go higher lower.
- 27:48Speaker 6: I gotta I gotta go lower.
- 27:50Speaker 2: He's going for it.
- 27:51Speaker 3: All right, going for lower lower?
- 27:55Speaker 5: Four?
- 27:57Speaker 6: Well, gotta go higher, right.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Or you can freeze. You can freeze it here, I could,
- 28:03Speaker 3: but I gotta go higher. Okay, right, and hired it
- 28:08Speaker 3: with the queen. Aggie wants to do lower lower.
- 28:18Speaker 5: As he should. Very nice. I should have kept playing.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Oh man, yeah, you should.
- 28:31Speaker 5: Should have.
- 28:32Speaker 6: This is the freaking nature comment I think is.
- 28:35Speaker 2: That you fucked up.
- 28:38Speaker 6: You shouldn't have called through it.
- 28:40Speaker 3: We are moving on to round two, game number two,
- 28:43Speaker 3: and are calling the rounds in this but we are
- 28:44Speaker 3: technically game number two out of our best of three,
- 28:47Speaker 3: and since Augie wins, he keeps control of the questions,
- 28:51Speaker 3: so we are up one game to zero. Augie's up.
- 28:55Speaker 3: Just a reminder for our audience. Game number two starts
- 28:58Speaker 3: with this question. He surveyed one hundred people if prostitution
- 29:03Speaker 3: were legal, should they be allowed to unionize?
- 29:08Speaker 8: I would say that's all. I'm hoping it's the same.
- 29:12Speaker 8: I think eighty people said they should be allowed.
- 29:14Speaker 3: To unionize eighty people. So you're saying eighty people out
- 29:18Speaker 3: of one hundred out of one hundred, All right, do
- 29:23Speaker 3: you use think down numbers higher or lower that if
- 29:25Speaker 3: prostitution was legal, that they would be they should be
- 29:27Speaker 3: allowed to unionize.
- 29:29Speaker 5: Can I phone a friend?
- 29:31Speaker 1: No?
- 29:32Speaker 3: On the wrong game?
- 29:34Speaker 2: You are the we.
- 29:41Speaker 7: This is a difficult one because I would say it's lower,
- 29:46Speaker 7: but hopefully not by much. We're all pro prostitution.
- 29:50Speaker 3: Stevie is saying.
- 29:52Speaker 2: Sex worker, Yeah, pro sex worker in general. Yeah, it
- 29:56Speaker 2: should be. I think they absolutely should be allowed to unionize.
- 29:58Speaker 5: Why not?
- 29:59Speaker 2: I think it's a forty.
- 30:01Speaker 3: Yeah, if prostitution was legal, one hundred out of one
- 30:04Speaker 3: hundred people, that they should be allowed to unionize.
- 30:10Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:11Speaker 3: So that means, Stevie, you win control of the cards, say, car.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Must immediately drive into this ditch.
- 30:22Speaker 3: Yes, so your your first card is a four. You
- 30:27Speaker 3: can change out if you'd like, or you can keep
- 30:29Speaker 3: it and go from there. That is up to you.
- 30:31Speaker 7: I can change it later, right, No, just the base card. Car,
- 30:36Speaker 7: I will stay and I will say it's higher.
- 30:40Speaker 3: All right, let me do one quick thing that got
- 30:41Speaker 3: cleared out there. We go all right? Higher? He is saying,
- 30:45Speaker 3: it is freeze here ago higher lower.
- 30:50Speaker 5: We are going to go lower, mister Banks, Yeah.
- 30:53Speaker 3: Yeah, lower brings us back to the floor. You can
- 30:58Speaker 3: you can freeze it here, or you can keep playing
- 31:00Speaker 3: for higher lower.
- 31:04Speaker 5: I'm going to keep playing.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Sorry, it was good, and I'm going.
- 31:08Speaker 5: To say higher. Boo boo.
- 31:10Speaker 3: I say high with a ten. You can freeze it here,
- 31:14Speaker 3: or you can keep playing.
- 31:16Speaker 7: I made the mistake last time of so I think
- 31:19Speaker 7: it's better for me to take a chance because at
- 31:21Speaker 7: the very least I go back to one more ag
- 31:22Speaker 7: you would start anyway, So why do I continue playing?
- 31:26Speaker 7: And I'm going to take the higher percentage and say lower.
- 31:35Speaker 7: I knew it was gonna be a jake.
- 31:37Speaker 6: Fuck No.
- 31:38Speaker 3: All right, so you're back down there. You're back to
- 31:40Speaker 3: number four four, and I am killing up our next question.
- 31:47Speaker 3: Give me one quick second here, all right. So our
- 31:52Speaker 3: next question is, we surveyed one hundred Sunday school teachers.
- 31:59Speaker 3: Are a call there and her caller equally guilty in
- 32:02Speaker 3: the eyes of God? How many Sunday school teachers said
- 32:05Speaker 3: they are equally guilty in the eyes of God?
- 32:07Speaker 2: Oh my God? Depends on how many of them are
- 32:13Speaker 2: rampantly sexists.
- 32:18Speaker 3: This is this is uh, this would be for you
- 32:21Speaker 3: actually because Steebee or no, yeah, yeah, no, this would
- 32:24Speaker 3: be for you, Stevie because you didn't get to do question.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Guess the number last time?
- 32:27Speaker 5: Could you repeat question?
- 32:32Speaker 6: We served around it for a second.
- 32:34Speaker 3: We surveyed one hundred Sunday school teachers. Right, are a
- 32:38Speaker 3: call girl and her caller equally guilty in the eyes
- 32:42Speaker 3: of God? How many Sunday school teachers said that they
- 32:45Speaker 3: are so prostitute?
- 32:47Speaker 2: John?
- 32:48Speaker 7: Yeah, right now, I got it. Sunday school teachers, yes,
- 32:55Speaker 7: which say Catholic Sunday school I don't know. This is
- 33:00Speaker 7: probably sixty nine.
- 33:05Speaker 3: Stevie is saying sixty nine teachers. Oggie, do you think
- 33:10Speaker 3: this is higher or lower?
- 33:11Speaker 6: I honestly think it's higher.
- 33:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think Oggie is gonna say higher. And
- 33:17Speaker 3: the number of Sunday school teachers in our survey that's
- 33:19Speaker 3: at a call girl on her caller equally guilty. The
- 33:21Speaker 3: eyes I got are ninety nine. Oh shit, not expecting
- 33:28Speaker 3: ninety nine a religion. So that gives control of the
- 33:35Speaker 3: cards to mister Aggie here, and we are going to
- 33:37Speaker 3: show you your base guard. Your base card is a five.
- 33:40Speaker 3: You have the option of changing this one if you'd like,
- 33:43Speaker 3: you know, yes, I would like to change it. All right,
- 33:46Speaker 3: we can do that. Let's change your base card, change
- 33:49Speaker 3: by card. Your base card now is an ace?
- 33:54Speaker 2: Good chang? Yes, good change? Well all right, low.
- 33:59Speaker 3: All right, lower and wet. You can play on our freeze.
- 34:04Speaker 8: Hey, this could go either way, but I'm gonna go
- 34:06Speaker 8: play on and go higher higher.
- 34:10Speaker 3: But it is not too.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Fire.
- 34:15Speaker 3: We are still we are still locked at one car
- 34:18Speaker 3: to each rade at the moment, and we are moving
- 34:20Speaker 3: on to our third question.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Oh isn't Stevie supposed to get a free shot?
- 34:25Speaker 3: Because oh, yes he is. I'm sorry, you are correct, Yes, Stevie,
- 34:27Speaker 3: you you can play. I apologize.
- 34:29Speaker 6: Yeah, so cool, you can play.
- 34:31Speaker 5: I guess I would go higher.
- 34:33Speaker 3: You're not allowed to change your correct You're not allowed
- 34:35Speaker 3: to change this time. Yeah, so higher?
- 34:38Speaker 2: Oh my god, it's a three.
- 34:43Speaker 6: It's three.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Unbelievable. Neither one of you can get off the starting blocks.
- 34:47Speaker 6: Please tell me say somehow funck this up?
- 34:50Speaker 5: All right, So it's gonna take a whole hollur just
- 34:52Speaker 5: to do this game.
- 34:54Speaker 3: Well, let's hope not. But yeah, all right, you ready,
- 34:56Speaker 3: that's ready? And the question number three of our four
- 34:59Speaker 3: of our four questions. For game number two, we surveyed
- 35:02Speaker 3: one hundred married men. If you and your wife kept
- 35:06Speaker 3: a parrot as a pet and one day he said,
- 35:08Speaker 3: I love you, big al, would you be suspicious? How
- 35:12Speaker 3: many married men said they would be suspicious if their
- 35:14Speaker 3: parrot suddenly said I love you, big Al?
- 35:20Speaker 5: WHOA is it not me?
- 35:25Speaker 6: I'm gonna say about sixty three people out of.
- 35:28Speaker 3: One hundred sixty three things, Tevy, do you think that's
- 35:32Speaker 3: going to be higher or lower? Of married men it
- 35:35Speaker 3: would be suspicious if their pets suddenly blurted out, I
- 35:38Speaker 3: love you, big Al.
- 35:39Speaker 7: I'm going to say lower because they know, like they
- 35:41Speaker 7: hear stuff on TV and they repeat it too.
- 35:44Speaker 3: Stevie is saying lower. The number of men who married
- 35:49Speaker 3: men whould be suspicious nine so very close.
- 35:56Speaker 2: For Agie, it is not lower, it is higher.
- 35:59Speaker 3: Wow, we are going to give control back to used
- 36:02Speaker 3: to have that age. You can you can change it
- 36:04Speaker 3: if you want. I don't suspect that you do, but
- 36:06Speaker 3: you can if you'd like.
- 36:07Speaker 6: To have an easy start. So I think I'll go
- 36:10Speaker 6: down from here.
- 36:11Speaker 3: All right, now, we got you at a queen.
- 36:14Speaker 6: I mean, where are the odds that it's the King next.
- 36:17Speaker 3: Let's keep going all right, you can.
- 36:23Speaker 6: It could be your two next, but I'm still gonna
- 36:25Speaker 6: go high.
- 36:25Speaker 2: I love that he keeps calling the card that will
- 36:27Speaker 2: fuck him.
- 36:28Speaker 3: All right, I don't know.
- 36:33Speaker 6: It could be another race.
- 36:35Speaker 2: Let's let's go lower. It's the fourth ace. Jesus.
- 36:40Speaker 3: All right that Aggie wins that route?
- 36:44Speaker 5: Very nice, very nice?
- 36:50Speaker 2: You won the game.
- 36:52Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's done.
- 37:01Speaker 2: I'd like the craft.
- 37:03Speaker 5: Awesome.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Here we are.
- 37:08Speaker 3: Yeah, that was longer than I expected it to be.
- 37:12Speaker 3: Sorry about that, I guess. Which means, Aggie, you won
- 37:16Speaker 3: two out of three and you get to play for
- 37:17Speaker 3: the money cards if you'd like.
- 37:18Speaker 2: Okay, this isn't the the you have it backwards. This
- 37:23Speaker 2: money Cards is from the nineteen nineteen eighty six, eighty
- 37:27Speaker 2: nine version.
- 37:28Speaker 3: The way it looks, yes, but the way it plays now,
- 37:31Speaker 3: the way.
- 37:31Speaker 2: It plays is identical. Two hundred on bot row, four
- 37:34Speaker 2: hundred in the middle, big bet.
- 37:35Speaker 3: No, I ran a version.
- 37:36Speaker 2: The seventies version was two hundred on both rows.
- 37:39Speaker 3: But I ran, I ran, I ran a simulation and
- 37:42Speaker 3: when I tied it lost the bag. So oh, so
- 37:44Speaker 3: that is different. So that's what I'm saying.
- 37:47Speaker 2: But the amount is consistent with the eighties version. So
- 37:51Speaker 2: the top price here is thirty two thousand dollars.
- 37:54Speaker 3: Nice, all right, So Aggie get you get to play.
- 37:59Speaker 3: You have two hundred dollars. You have to bet a
- 38:01Speaker 3: minimum of fifty. You can bet all up to all
- 38:03Speaker 3: of it up until the third the top row, where
- 38:05Speaker 3: you have to bet at least half. Okay, so just
- 38:09Speaker 3: keep that in mind. But you can bet as low
- 38:11Speaker 3: as fifty or as up to two hundred as often
- 38:13Speaker 3: as you like. Your base card is going to be
- 38:17Speaker 3: a three of spades. What is your wager for the
- 38:19Speaker 3: next card, and then tell me whether you think it's
- 38:22Speaker 3: higher or lower, or you can change it. You can
- 38:24Speaker 3: change one card per row.
- 38:26Speaker 6: Okay, I'm going to bet one hundred and I'm going
- 38:29Speaker 6: to go higher.
- 38:31Speaker 3: Okay, the bet is one hundred, and we are going higher.
- 38:35Speaker 3: All right. We are now three hundred. You got a king.
- 38:38Speaker 3: You can bet again fifty to three hundred and tell,
- 38:42Speaker 3: and you also still have to change of card that.
- 38:44Speaker 3: I don't think you're going to want to use it here,
- 38:45Speaker 3: but you know you have it if you want it.
- 38:47Speaker 2: Yeah, it all.
- 38:48Speaker 6: I'm going to wager another one hundred and.
- 38:50Speaker 3: Go lower right one hundred being conservative here and going lower.
- 39:00Speaker 3: It's a jewel lower but slight, only slightly. We got
- 39:03Speaker 3: a jack. Now you can again four hundred or or
- 39:07Speaker 3: or up to the fifty hours up to four hundred.
- 39:10Speaker 6: Now I'm gonna wager two hundred and go.
- 39:13Speaker 3: Lower and go lower, all right, more now that the
- 39:17Speaker 3: card is looking but it works all right, So we
- 39:20Speaker 3: moved up. We give an additional four hundred dollars. You're
- 39:22Speaker 3: up to one thousand. You can change it. You get
- 39:24Speaker 3: to pick one, two or three. Uh, and we can
- 39:27Speaker 3: change it if you want, or you can keep playing
- 39:28Speaker 3: with this six and you still have that range of
- 39:31Speaker 3: fifty to your maximum number you have here, go ahead
- 39:34Speaker 3: and change it with that one number one. Yeah, okay,
- 39:40Speaker 3: the card becomes now wait what I do?
- 39:45Speaker 5: Yeh it is now four hundred.
- 39:51Speaker 3: No, there we go. It is now it is now
- 39:53Speaker 3: two even better.
- 39:56Speaker 6: Okay, well obviously would you is it fair to wager
- 40:03Speaker 6: all then go higher?
- 40:05Speaker 3: That's up to you.
- 40:06Speaker 2: That's up to you.
- 40:07Speaker 5: You can do it all.
- 40:08Speaker 2: The only way you can lose is if it's another two.
- 40:10Speaker 6: I'm gonna wager eight hundred, go higher.
- 40:13Speaker 3: All right, that's fair. Eight hundred and higher, and it
- 40:18Speaker 3: is queen eight.
- 40:20Speaker 2: Nice cool, just making sure.
- 40:23Speaker 6: Hmmm, this is getting sketchy. I will wager four hundred
- 40:34Speaker 6: and go lower.
- 40:35Speaker 3: One hundred and lower it is. We are back to
- 40:39Speaker 3: it too long. You are killing these cars, my friend.
- 40:41Speaker 5: Oh yes, there.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Are only two other twos in the deck that can
- 40:44Speaker 2: hurt you at this point. Geez, shouldn't this total be
- 40:48Speaker 2: up to twenty two hundred?
- 40:50Speaker 3: I put in the numbers, it should be doing the math.
- 40:53Speaker 3: I'm not sure that.
- 40:56Speaker 6: It's okay. I will bet for this one. I'll go
- 41:00Speaker 6: ahead and bet.
- 41:01Speaker 3: Uh it is fake money and does not eight hundred
- 41:10Speaker 3: go higher? Wow, eight hundred and higher, says yeah, change
- 41:20Speaker 3: you up to the next level and you've got twenty
- 41:25Speaker 3: six hundred. You got a six. You can change this
- 41:27Speaker 3: with any of the two you want, or you can
- 41:29Speaker 3: go you keep in mind, you have to bet at
- 41:30Speaker 3: least thirteen hundred on this one.
- 41:32Speaker 6: Okay, change it with the two.
- 41:35Speaker 3: Change it with number two, which now makes it a queen, and.
- 41:41Speaker 6: Then I will do thirteen hundred lower.
- 41:45Speaker 2: All right, Yeah, it's a three.
- 41:52Speaker 3: Yeah, well done, graduation.
- 41:57Speaker 2: One money.
- 42:01Speaker 6: Yeah, that's more than what I got right now, more.
- 42:04Speaker 2: Than we have combined.
- 42:06Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, I'll get congratulations. You've won the money cards,
- 42:16Speaker 3: You've won yourself thirty nine thirty nine hundred fight dollars,
- 42:20Speaker 3: and you congratulate you on that. Do you more importantly,
- 42:24Speaker 3: you won yourself the right to play Aaron in round two,
- 42:26Speaker 3: which we'll do right for these commercials.
- 42:31Speaker 13: Yeah, bound, found, mail bag, found, found, found, found mail bag,
- 42:44Speaker 13: found fou getting.
- 42:45Speaker 2: Them litters, Welcome to them. Man. Still it's still my
- 42:53Speaker 2: favorite theme. Still, my favorite theme is getting all right,
- 42:58Speaker 2: what do we got?
- 42:59Speaker 7: Oh, we got a few things starting it off. We're
- 43:02Speaker 7: gonna go with this one. We got a message on
- 43:07Speaker 7: the Twitter. Oh no, no, sorry, not the old Twitter.
- 43:12Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 43:12Speaker 5: Yeah, it was right after.
- 43:16Speaker 7: BF THEE Party episode wh Answers, and we had to
- 43:19Speaker 7: provide the questions. Katerry actually a messaged on there. We
- 43:24Speaker 7: just listened to this episode not too long ago, and
- 43:27Speaker 7: it was a brilliant idea from Aaron. And this definitely
- 43:29Speaker 7: needs to be in the rotation of games. It will be,
- 43:32Speaker 7: So I think we've got a lot of comments already
- 43:34Speaker 7: on there will be.
- 43:35Speaker 2: I can't. I can't do it as rarely as i'd
- 43:37Speaker 2: like because it's a lot of right, it's a lot
- 43:40Speaker 2: of right, even even with just two rounds, and I
- 43:42Speaker 2: was thinking of expanding to a third round just to
- 43:45Speaker 2: make it for an hour. But even with just two rounds,
- 43:48Speaker 2: it's sixty questions long, well, sixty one you gotta count
- 43:52Speaker 2: Final Jeopardy.
- 43:52Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, still it's a lot.
- 43:55Speaker 3: Did we not take an hour on the one that
- 43:57Speaker 3: we did? I didn't pay attention to the time when
- 43:58Speaker 3: I listened to it. I was just but I think it.
- 44:00Speaker 2: Was forty five fifty. Maybe it's close job it was.
- 44:04Speaker 2: It was close enough that I wasn't gonna worry.
- 44:06Speaker 3: About it, right right, all right?
- 44:07Speaker 7: Yeah, you should do like instead of like the final
- 44:10Speaker 7: BF party question, you can have a mid BF pretty
- 44:13Speaker 7: question after the first round mid yeah fack worth, Like
- 44:18Speaker 7: what's the Maxican do in BFF Party's final?
- 44:21Speaker 3: Whatever you've got?
- 44:22Speaker 1: So you're gonna do half what you got for that one?
- 44:25Speaker 2: You can wager up to half.
- 44:27Speaker 6: Yeah, maybe it's something weird.
- 44:29Speaker 2: That would be an interesting twist. I think I don't
- 44:31Speaker 2: know if I can make it work within the program
- 44:33Speaker 2: that I've.
- 44:33Speaker 5: Gotten, Right, it got a weird it's kind of weird.
- 44:37Speaker 2: I kind of like it that kind of weird. I
- 44:39Speaker 2: kind of like it.
- 44:40Speaker 3: I kind of like it.
- 44:43Speaker 2: Middle middle, BF party middle and final mid middle, I.
- 44:50Speaker 7: Like middle, et middle, earty.
- 44:54Speaker 2: All right, all right, So what else we got.
- 44:56Speaker 7: We've got a comment on show to ninety three The
- 44:59Speaker 7: Boys Buffore on Patreon and it comes from Bill m
- 45:04Speaker 7: I may try to make it to a local show.
- 45:07Speaker 2: Okay.
- 45:07Speaker 7: Yeah, we're talking about shows and stuff and the ones
- 45:11Speaker 7: coming up, specifically the Colorado Show.
- 45:15Speaker 2: But William William's talking about coming.
- 45:17Speaker 7: To log Yeah, we do some stuff, yeah, begin of
- 45:22Speaker 7: the year. I guess some ideas.
- 45:23Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know were Louis.
- 45:26Speaker 7: Yep, and we already got a couple other people who
- 45:28Speaker 7: are willing to partner with us to do that event.
- 45:31Speaker 5: Yeah, like three other businesses.
- 45:33Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 45:33Speaker 3: Yeah, So guys, there's some great, great venues in Saint Louis.
- 45:37Speaker 3: I'm just saying, like, I'll be down to go out there.
- 45:42Speaker 3: You got to Saint Louis. Do it on there. Whether
- 45:44Speaker 3: I mean the audience are on one stage, I don't care.
- 45:46Speaker 3: I'm there for sure.
- 45:47Speaker 6: All right, that's fair.
- 45:49Speaker 2: And what else we got.
- 45:50Speaker 7: We got a couple of voice man, so I haven't
- 45:53Speaker 7: listened to them yet. This one came four days ago,
- 45:56Speaker 7: so I have no idea. So here we go.
- 46:00Speaker 12: This is Kristin Farley's a gentle push that I think
- 46:04Speaker 12: it would be amazing if you did a video for
- 46:08Speaker 12: the b F Y t W Patreon of you painting
- 46:10Speaker 12: a figure we would.
- 46:17Speaker 2: You fascinating?
- 46:20Speaker 7: Would happen during the last episode he's been procrastinating what
- 46:25Speaker 7: five years now, he's never painted.
- 46:28Speaker 2: Damn it.
- 46:28Speaker 6: Now I'm gonna have people bothering me all the time.
- 46:31Speaker 7: I told people in the last episode to start nagging
- 46:33Speaker 7: you through voicemail.
- 46:36Speaker 5: Start doing this.
- 46:36Speaker 7: This is his off season and he should be doing
- 46:39Speaker 7: his things, and people need proof that he's actually doing it,
- 46:42Speaker 7: so they want video. So Oggie, you have a new
- 46:44Speaker 7: project for Patreon to do.
- 46:46Speaker 2: Fuck me, dude, please tell me this next one is great.
- 46:52Speaker 6: I can't pro fascinate anymore. Thanks a lot.
- 46:54Speaker 2: Please tell me this next one is more of the same.
- 46:56Speaker 2: Oh god, I hope.
- 46:57Speaker 5: So here's the next one again, no idea.
- 47:01Speaker 12: Yeah, this is your gentle reminder, but it would be
- 47:05Speaker 12: really awesome if you recorded a video have you painting
- 47:08Speaker 12: some figurines or the.
- 47:18Speaker 2: Fine. That's amazing, that's amazing.
- 47:22Speaker 5: Fine, Oh oh god, it's so great. So my playing
- 47:28Speaker 5: kind of worked.
- 47:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it worked completely.
- 47:30Speaker 1: And you've been learning how to video edit on your like.
- 47:34Speaker 3: I can't actually edited, and yeah, nice, all right, good
- 47:40Speaker 3: job Patreon.
- 47:41Speaker 5: I appreciate y'all.
- 47:42Speaker 8: Well, that's the question I'll have to ask, like, do
- 47:44Speaker 8: you want an unedited like like start to finish or
- 47:48Speaker 8: do you want like me to just kind of get
- 47:50Speaker 8: to the point.
- 47:51Speaker 5: Do both.
- 47:52Speaker 6: I could do the whole thing, like for a short
- 47:56Speaker 6: I do that, like, yeah, go through all of it
- 47:58Speaker 6: and then just do the highlights.
- 47:59Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, it cool.
- 48:02Speaker 3: For the record, I say the page. I look, I've
- 48:05Speaker 3: been paying you guys five dollars a month now before.
- 48:07Speaker 3: I can't even tell you how long we appreciate it.
- 48:11Speaker 3: I know that you do. I'm not saying it that way.
- 48:13Speaker 3: My point is that you know I I I won't lie.
- 48:15Speaker 3: I don't not saying I don't listen to the show,
- 48:17Speaker 3: but I don't utilize the Patreon as much as I
- 48:19Speaker 3: probably have paid for it. But the point is that
- 48:24Speaker 3: when I do utilize it, and it is, it is
- 48:26Speaker 3: worth every penny that I've spent. So yeah, pay your
- 48:30Speaker 3: five dollars. You guys don't ask for But that's one
- 48:32Speaker 3: of things I love about yours is that you don't
- 48:33Speaker 3: have like the tears and stuff. It's like, here's five
- 48:36Speaker 3: dollars or nothing, and that's it, and and just throw
- 48:39Speaker 3: the money in and listen, it's it's it's a it's
- 48:43Speaker 3: a Starbucks. It's half of a Starbucks cup of coffee.
- 48:45Speaker 3: Just fucking do it, you know, Like, yeah, that's kind
- 48:48Speaker 3: of sad.
- 48:49Speaker 2: We're cheap.
- 48:50Speaker 5: What can I say?
- 48:52Speaker 2: A cheap cup of coffe more value for your dollar.
- 48:55Speaker 2: It be a f tw's Patreon than almost anywhere else.
- 48:59Speaker 3: I agree, I agree one hundred percent. Yeah, yeah, that
- 49:02Speaker 3: should be.
- 49:03Speaker 2: A sure And that, ladies and gentlemen, is our mail bag.
- 49:06Speaker 6: All right, So if everyone's ready, I'll go ahead and
- 49:08Speaker 6: count us in.
- 49:10Speaker 11: From five four three, Welcome back to card Sharks on
- 49:28Speaker 11: bfy tw podcast.
- 49:29Speaker 3: I am rob My Banks, and we are getting ready
- 49:32Speaker 3: to get into round two of when Aaron Randolph's Money,
- 49:36Speaker 3: where Aaron's actually gonna get a chance to do something.
- 49:38Speaker 3: Now he's going to get to play against Augie and
- 49:41Speaker 3: see if Aggie can steal his money, his five thousand
- 49:44Speaker 3: pennies or not. We'll see what happens. But we are
- 49:48Speaker 3: going to get into that and and get into round two. Augie.
- 49:52Speaker 3: You sir, one round one, so you'll be getting you'll
- 49:55Speaker 3: be starting us off in a moment bit, Aaron, since
- 49:57Speaker 3: you have not said much in the last like thirty
- 49:59Speaker 3: minute or whatever it's been, tell us a little bit
- 50:02Speaker 3: about yourself and what brings you to Card Sharks today.
- 50:05Speaker 2: I am just a massive fan of the game and
- 50:08Speaker 2: its format. I can remember playing this game, a version
- 50:11Speaker 2: of this game with where hey many many hours at
- 50:14Speaker 2: the hotel because he would just pot drop by and
- 50:18Speaker 2: we just hang out for like hours in the lobby
- 50:21Speaker 2: of the hotel, me behind the desk working quote unquote
- 50:23Speaker 2: working and playing games show games with him and whoever
- 50:27Speaker 2: else managed to stop by that particular day. And Card
- 50:31Speaker 2: Sharks was a regular in our rotation because it's just
- 50:34Speaker 2: a lot of fun to play. So yeah, I'm excited
- 50:38Speaker 2: to hopefully Fingers Crossed knock on Wood actually take a
- 50:42Speaker 2: win for the first time in the series.
- 50:45Speaker 3: It would be ironic that would wait when I'm hosting.
- 50:48Speaker 2: Is based on just me saying come and beat me
- 50:51Speaker 2: if you can everyone, and it turns out everyone can legitimately,
- 50:58Speaker 2: not that I mean games.
- 51:00Speaker 6: Of chance.
- 51:02Speaker 8: Right in if you want to beat Aaron, and it
- 51:05Speaker 8: was games of skill it'd be a different story.
- 51:07Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, Well, let's hope that you can break
- 51:11Speaker 3: that streak and you can win this time, Aaron, with
- 51:14Speaker 3: all respects to all you here, and we'll see what happens.
- 51:16Speaker 3: We're gonna get right in the round two, Oggie is
- 51:19Speaker 3: going to get the next question because he won the
- 51:20Speaker 3: first round. We're gonna start with him. He's gonna get
- 51:23Speaker 3: the first question, and in our second round, our first
- 51:26Speaker 3: question is we surveyed one hundred and third grade kids.
- 51:30Speaker 3: Have you ever reading a dog biscuit? How many third
- 51:32Speaker 3: grade kids of eating a dog biscuit?
- 51:35Speaker 5: That's a good question.
- 51:36Speaker 6: The real question is how many admitted to eating really well?
- 51:39Speaker 3: You know that's it's interesting you put it that way,
- 51:41Speaker 3: all because that can be a factor in this or
- 51:43Speaker 3: maybe more because I didn't.
- 51:45Speaker 6: Eating a dog biscuit?
- 51:46Speaker 5: All right, question like how many of us have? Because
- 51:49Speaker 5: I know I have, I have not.
- 51:52Speaker 3: I have not either.
- 51:53Speaker 1: You didn't even have dogs, and I try.
- 51:55Speaker 6: You know what the said dogs, and I knew better.
- 51:59Speaker 2: What the said.
- 52:00Speaker 8: Smell actually tasted good, though, is the crazy part. Liquoricola
- 52:04Speaker 8: probably wasn't good for you, but it tasted fine. I'm
- 52:08Speaker 8: thinking closer to forty three, forty three out of one
- 52:12Speaker 8: hundred kids.
- 52:12Speaker 3: Probably all right, Aggie's gonna say forty three of one
- 52:15Speaker 3: hundred third grade kids, third grade kids that admitted to
- 52:18Speaker 3: eating a dog biscuit. Aaron, what do you think do
- 52:21Speaker 3: you think that number is going to be higher or lower?
- 52:23Speaker 2: Well, I think it's going to be almost none of
- 52:25Speaker 2: the girls, and I think it's gonna be maybe half
- 52:27Speaker 2: of the boys. So I'm gonna say that's the lower.
- 52:31Speaker 3: Aaron says lower. And the number of third graders admitted
- 52:35Speaker 3: to eating a dog biscuit is wow.
- 52:40Speaker 2: Very much lower. Yes, have you noticed we're like.
- 52:43Speaker 5: A minority a lot of these times the years?
- 52:46Speaker 8: And again China convince to be like, oh I did
- 52:49Speaker 8: need a dog bisy?
- 52:51Speaker 2: Like?
- 52:51Speaker 6: Fuck?
- 52:51Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 52:52Speaker 6: Like did you steal a cookie out of the cookie jar?
- 52:55Speaker 5: Yes?
- 52:58Speaker 3: All right, So that's going to give Aaron control all
- 53:00Speaker 3: of the cards. Yes, uh you your bass card is
- 53:04Speaker 3: a two of heart.
- 53:05Speaker 2: Oh perfect, higher switch higher.
- 53:07Speaker 7: Higher, higher, higher, high, alright, nigga.
- 53:14Speaker 2: I'm gonna chance it. We're gonna go higher.
- 53:17Speaker 3: Higher. It is with a queen, all right, let's go lower.
- 53:24Speaker 3: Let's do it all right, lower with a jack, just lower.
- 53:29Speaker 3: You can keep playing, or you can freeze it right there.
- 53:34Speaker 2: I am going to.
- 53:37Speaker 3: Lower lower, says the ten Wow sweat Aaron Wayne's game
- 53:47Speaker 3: one off quick straight.
- 53:50Speaker 2: I was like, if I was gonna freeze, I really was.
- 53:53Speaker 2: And I'm like, it's aggy, Yeah.
- 53:55Speaker 6: Dude, you can't.
- 53:57Speaker 2: Aggie does not freeze. He does not know what meaning.
- 54:00Speaker 5: Have you ever seen him in Vegas gambles like that?
- 54:04Speaker 2: I played him in Dealer No Deal? I know. Will
- 54:07Speaker 2: you go all the way?
- 54:08Speaker 6: So I'm like, no, I'm a dastardly motherfucker.
- 54:12Speaker 3: That's gonna move. That's gonna move us Right on to
- 54:15Speaker 3: game number two of our best of three. Here you
- 54:19Speaker 3: had started us off and and but since Aaron one,
- 54:22Speaker 3: he is going to get our first question in game
- 54:25Speaker 3: number two. First questions is we surveyed one hundred people
- 54:28Speaker 3: as kids, did you have an underlying fear of the
- 54:31Speaker 3: monster under your bed? How many? How many adults said
- 54:36Speaker 3: that as kids they had an underlying fear of a
- 54:38Speaker 3: monster under their beds?
- 54:39Speaker 5: I haven't.
- 54:41Speaker 2: Uh, this is tough because it's not it's not a
- 54:46Speaker 2: universally shared experience. But I think I think all kids
- 54:51Speaker 2: at some point are afraid of the Boogeyman. Even if
- 54:54Speaker 2: they don't necessarily remember it. Their parents might not call
- 54:59Speaker 2: it the monster under the bed, but the same principle,
- 55:02Speaker 2: I know I did. So I'm going to go I'm
- 55:07Speaker 2: going to say this is slightly more than half. I'm
- 55:09Speaker 2: gonna say fifty eight.
- 55:13Speaker 3: All right, Aaron's locking in fifty eight. You think that's
- 55:17Speaker 3: going to be a higher or lower number.
- 55:19Speaker 2: Of Stevie, you just pick one, you can just they're
- 55:31Speaker 2: like telling you to give up, give up.
- 55:35Speaker 6: I stand No. I think it's actually gonna be a
- 55:38Speaker 6: little higher.
- 55:40Speaker 3: You think it's going to be higher. Yeah, it's just
- 55:41Speaker 3: a little bit, Aggie said, it's higher. And the actual
- 55:44Speaker 3: number of people that admitted that they were an underlying
- 55:47Speaker 3: fear of a monster in the bed when they were
- 55:49Speaker 3: a kid adults is forty seven.
- 55:53Speaker 2: Not higher, it's lower.
- 55:55Speaker 3: It's actually lower. So yeah, so Aaron gets construction my bed.
- 56:00Speaker 3: So Aaron gets control of the cards, and your base
- 56:04Speaker 3: card is an ace O mercy. Let's go lower, Oh god, alright,
- 56:10Speaker 3: lower yack.
- 56:11Speaker 2: Yeah, straight out, sh let's go get more.
- 56:15Speaker 6: Yeah it's the RNG man.
- 56:17Speaker 2: You lot higher. Come on, yeah, eight freeze.
- 56:23Speaker 3: And Aaron's gonna freeze at an eight hour.
- 56:29Speaker 2: No I am not playing an eight that is a
- 56:31Speaker 2: fifty to fifty.
- 56:33Speaker 3: All right. That's gonna bring us over to question number
- 56:36Speaker 3: two of game number two, and this one is going
- 56:38Speaker 3: to go to to Augie. Augie, we servey one hundred people.
- 56:43Speaker 3: Do you think people who claim to have seen a
- 56:45Speaker 3: UFO are crazy? How many people have said that viewers
- 56:49Speaker 3: of UFOs are crazy?
- 56:53Speaker 8: See, I took a parallel more investigation class in college
- 56:56Speaker 8: and all that research ship, so it's kind of hard
- 57:00Speaker 8: for me. I'm a little biased because I'm a bit
- 57:02Speaker 8: more open minded, but I do know there was just
- 57:05Speaker 8: a lot of people who were afraid to say they've
- 57:06Speaker 8: seen aliens and ghosts and shit just because people would
- 57:09Speaker 8: call them crazy. So I'm going to say it's something
- 57:12Speaker 8: high like seventy.
- 57:13Speaker 3: Two seventy two, So you're saying seventy two pe out
- 57:17Speaker 3: of one hundred think that other people have seen UFOs
- 57:21Speaker 3: are crazy? Yeah, okay, locking that answer, it's going to
- 57:26Speaker 3: be a higher or lower number.
- 57:28Speaker 2: I don't think it's going to be that high. I
- 57:30Speaker 2: think there's a fair number of people who are just
- 57:32Speaker 2: who are going to understand that maybe they saw something,
- 57:35Speaker 2: but they they didn't see a UFO. But that doesn't
- 57:38Speaker 2: make them crazy. It just makes them they don't know
- 57:42Speaker 2: what they saw, that's all that means.
- 57:43Speaker 8: Funny enough, if you say you saw a ghost, people
- 57:45Speaker 8: would believe you more than if you say you saw
- 57:47Speaker 8: an alien.
- 57:47Speaker 2: Honestly, Yeah, that's not surprising. But I still I think
- 57:50Speaker 2: I'm going to go lower on this. I think it
- 57:52Speaker 2: might be closer to it might be closer to fifty something.
- 57:55Speaker 3: All right, So Aaron is saying lower. The number of
- 57:59Speaker 3: people that say the others who have seen you are
- 58:01Speaker 3: crazy is.
- 58:04Speaker 11: Wow. This is.
- 58:10Speaker 2: The other the ones who said they saw a UFO. Yeah,
- 58:13Speaker 2: that's true.
- 58:14Speaker 3: That's a low, low number there. We are going to
- 58:17Speaker 3: give control of the cards to Aaron. Do you want
- 58:19Speaker 3: to change that?
- 58:21Speaker 2: Change?
- 58:22Speaker 3: Change its change your base card, and now your base
- 58:25Speaker 3: card is.
- 58:25Speaker 2: A king lower.
- 58:28Speaker 5: It's wow.
- 58:31Speaker 2: It's a five.
- 58:33Speaker 3: Aaron wins round two, meaning the best of three ghost
- 58:36Speaker 3: to Aaron. Aaron wins.
- 58:38Speaker 2: I have finally won win. Oh my goodness, no, those
- 58:47Speaker 2: cards fell nicely for you.
- 58:51Speaker 6: I swept Stevie. That's it's karma for me to get.
- 58:55Speaker 3: So for fun. Here we're gonna play money cards.
- 58:59Speaker 5: I want to play.
- 59:01Speaker 2: Let's go, let's.
- 59:02Speaker 3: Go, all right, so we are going to get into this.
- 59:05Speaker 3: Let me get the where there we go, get the
- 59:10Speaker 3: thing set up here and we have You're gonna start
- 59:12Speaker 3: with two hundred dollars and your base card is a six.
- 59:19Speaker 3: You can change out to be like or you can
- 59:20Speaker 3: play on.
- 59:21Speaker 2: Yeah, swap that out with number three please.
- 59:24Speaker 3: Number three now becomes in nine not.
- 59:30Speaker 6: Too much better.
- 59:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna go.
- 59:33Speaker 3: You get bet fifty to two hundred.
- 59:34Speaker 2: I'm gonna go fifty dollars lower lower.
- 59:40Speaker 3: No, but you still have one hundred and fifty dollars
- 59:43Speaker 3: you can play with.
- 59:43Speaker 2: We're gonna shoot the moon one hundred and fifty lower.
- 59:46Speaker 3: We're gonna do all of it lower. Yeah, but you
- 59:49Speaker 3: add in eight back up to three hundred.
- 59:51Speaker 2: Jesus, Uh, you know what, fuck it? Shoot the moon lower?
- 59:56Speaker 3: Wow, all of it lower, all of it lower?
- 59:59Speaker 7: All right?
- 59:59Speaker 3: Bring Yeah.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: It was anyway because I'm going to get the four
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: hundred dollars. Bump here.
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: Yeah, you're gonna get the four hundred dollars. You get
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: a jack to play with. Plus you got a car.
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: You used to have two guards. You can pick to
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: change if you want at any point. And this way I.
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: Burned winning the me this is just you know what
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: it's it's all for fun. Let's shoot the moon, all
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: of it, lower.
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: Lower, and all of it. And we haven't.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: Yes, I got the losing words.
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: There is the movie. I can't even move you off, Aaron.
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: It's just over there.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: It's over. It's fine. It was all good, Yeah it was.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: It was a lot of fun. I enjoyed this great.
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: Thanks so much for doing this.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: My banks, Oh no, my my pleasure. Guys, this really
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: really was a lot of fun. I want to hit
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: the Winning of Music, but it plays for four minutes,
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: so I don't want to. It is long.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: We all know we were winners here at least I do.
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: Yeah, are you on your victory?
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: Congratulations one win, one loss in one time.
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: I shouldn't have done that warm up, man, I didn't
- 1:01:15Speaker 7: do that war you would have done.
- 1:01:17Speaker 6: It was chewed up and ready to go.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: So what happened?
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: You get to keep your money, Aaron? Like, what happened?
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: What's that?
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: So what happens? Besides you get to keep your money
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: if you win?
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: Oh nothing, I'm going to spend it on a pizzas. Yeah,
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: but I am going to do a five dollars token
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: donation to the charity of August's choice, and where do
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: you want it to go?
- 1:01:40Speaker 6: Saint Jude's Children and cancer research. You've got it, you
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: got cancer.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: Yeah, because especially getting a five dollars donation in my name.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: But somebody's got to come and take money from me.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: I'm giving you shots, giving you plenty of shots. But
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: there's still plenty of other games we could play, still
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: plenty of other people with hosts. I got a fun
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: host and a fun game coming up next month. Yeah,
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: I'm not going to break too much about it, but
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: let's just say you better concentrate and we'll we'll see
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: what that's all about next month. But from now, I
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: want to thank dj Zantis for stepping up and being
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: robbed my banks and doing such a great job hosting
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: card sharts. Thank you. Oh so much fun it really was.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: I'm sorry for the minor technical glitch at one point there,
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: but otherwise it was a lot of fun there too.
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: Yeah, I had a last day.
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: You did an amazing job, sir. And you're the first
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: host to actually get sound involved. Yes, previous previous games
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: we're both silent.
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: Make sure you check the down share soundbox.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: It usually helps, Ye helps. I'll pass that on. But
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: uh DJ's anders, where can people find you if indeed
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: you want to be.
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: Found at the moment? You know at the moment, I
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: am currently off off air. I'm taking some personal time
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: to deal with some things that I need to deal with,
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: but I'm still here for things like this. I'm gonna
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: be by the time this drops, i will be a
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: few days away from recording. I'm going to be joining
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: Aaron and Kristin on Luni. Uh so I'm looking forward
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: to doing that. It's my first time joining them, so
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: it'll be a good time. And uh but you still
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: can't find me on social media. I haven't deleted anything,
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: so I'm still on social media, a DJs and this,
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: so make sure if you want to follow me there.
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: I am still putting thoughts and things up there. I
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: also want to take two seconds. I know we're running
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: late here, but I want to take two seconds because
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: I don't get to do this verbally very often, and
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: show some appreciation to both uh Stevie and our friend Jabbo.
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: It is going to be Veterans Day but by the
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: time this thing airs, and I want to give some
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: love to those two and all our all our former
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: vets for their service, but especially those two being that
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: they are close personal friends of mine and they deserve
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: that love. So uh and my dad being an Air
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: Force man like just just like Stevie. So I yeah
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: to all all that, but especially to Smoke and to Jabo.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: I appreciate it, man, We appreciate the support and we
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: love you guys.
- 1:04:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: I don't get to say it.
- 1:04:07Speaker 13: You know.
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: I messaged you every year, Smoke, but I never could
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: actually say it to you, so it's rare. I got
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: to do it this year. I want to take advantage.
- 1:04:13Speaker 5: Thank you, brother.
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: It means a lot, man, absolutely.
