Speaker 1: Happy Holidays and Happy twenty twenty four from iHeartRadio podcast.
• 0:06
Speaker 2: I'm Ashley Ike and Eddie of the Almost Famous podcast,
• 0:09
Speaker 2: and my resolution, I feel like might be weird, but
• 0:12
Speaker 2: it also could be relatable.
• 0:14
  Speaker 3: I don't know.
• 0:15
Speaker 2: I want to feel less guilty about moments of rest.
• 0:18
Speaker 2: Sometimes I feel like whenever I get to just take
• 0:20
  Speaker 2: a breather, I shouldn't be that. I should just be
• 0:25
Speaker 2: constantly productive, And I always feel guilty if I have
• 0:29
Speaker 2: my son watch a little TV so I can just
• 0:32
Speaker 2: snuggle with him. And then it's just like, those moments
• 0:36
Speaker 2: are fine, they're great, they're needed, and you shouldn't feel
• 0:41
Speaker 2: guilty about them. You don't always have to be go.
• 0:43
  Speaker 4: Go go.
• 0:45
Speaker 5: I'm Ben Higgins from The Almost Famous podcast. In my
• 0:48
Speaker 5: New Year's resolution is to be in better shape both mentally, physically,
• 0:54
Speaker 5: emotionally and spiritually in when I'm you know, thirty five
• 0:59
Speaker 5: and twenty twenty than I've ever been in my life.
• 1:02
Speaker 5: And I'm taking action on doing this. There are some
• 1:05
Speaker 5: boundaries and some things in my life that I'm working towards.
• 1:09
Speaker 5: I think it's going to help me be a better husband,
• 1:12
Speaker 5: maybe potentially one day a better father, but also just
• 1:16
Speaker 5: a better human for the people around me.
• 1:20
Speaker 6: Hi friends, Happy New Year. My name is Sophia Bush.
• 1:23
Speaker 6: And my New Year's resolution this year, oh boy, it
• 1:28
Speaker 6: might be more of an intention. This year, I really
• 1:34
Speaker 6: had to learn to take care of my health. I
• 1:36
Speaker 6: think a lot of us have gone through that over
• 1:38
Speaker 6: the last couple of years dealing with this global pandemic,
• 1:42
Speaker 6: and I had to learn to rest and recuperate in
• 1:47
Speaker 6: a way that I never have before. And interestingly, as
• 1:51
Speaker 6: that lesson has come full circle for me, what I
• 1:54
Speaker 6: really want to commit to in twenty twenty four is
• 1:58
Speaker 6: taking care of myself better so that I can continue
• 2:01
Speaker 6: to show up as an advocate for my community, because
• 2:05
Speaker 6: I know that so many of us deserve better than
• 2:08
Speaker 6: what we're getting in the world right now. We're fighting
• 2:11
Speaker 6: back on a lot of policy that is doing community harm.
• 2:16
Speaker 6: We're trying to live up to the democratic ideals of
• 2:21
Speaker 6: this country, which is supposed to be equal for you
• 2:24
Speaker 6: and me and everyone else. And I think for me,
• 2:29
Speaker 6: the real intention of this year is to be both
• 2:33
Speaker 6: gentle and ferocious with myself with my activism and in
• 2:39
Speaker 6: the way that we can all stand shoulder to shoulder
• 2:41
Speaker 6: to stand up for each other. I hope you are
• 2:45
Speaker 6: finding your way to your intentions or resolutions, however you
• 2:50
Speaker 6: like to classify them, and I wish you all a happy,
• 2:55
Speaker 6: healthy and safe New Year, sending you love.
• 2:57
  Speaker 7: Hey everybody, I'm t J Holmes, I'm Amy Robots, and
• 3:01
Speaker 7: we of course are from the Amy and TJ podcast,
• 3:05
Speaker 7: and we are here now to talk about New Year's resolutions.
• 3:08
Speaker 8: What do you got?
• 3:09
Speaker 9: Mine are very simple after the year I've had, I
• 3:12
Speaker 9: would like to stay in a beautiful relationship with you,
• 3:14
Speaker 9: TJ and keep this amazing job.
• 3:18
  Speaker 5: And I.
• 3:21
Speaker 3: We're down to the basics here.
• 3:22
  Speaker 4: Yeah.
• 3:22
  Speaker 8: I don't really make New Year's resolutions, but I was
• 3:25
Speaker 8: told by the iHeart team that I still needed to
• 3:26
Speaker 8: record this with you, So here I am, and I
• 3:29
Speaker 8: resolve in the new year to be nicer to the
• 3:33
Speaker 8: iHeart team when they tell me I have to do stuff.
• 3:36
Speaker 9: Hi, iHeart. It's Teddy Mellencamp and my news resolution is
• 3:40
Speaker 9: I don't believe in resolutions. If you want to make
• 3:42
Speaker 9: a lifestyle change, you have to do it for live.
• 3:45
Speaker 9: It can't be something you're going to plan for the
• 3:47
Speaker 9: first week of the year and then give up on.
• 3:49
Speaker 9: So I think you want to make a resolution, you
• 3:52
Speaker 9: got to make the resolution to change your life, and
• 3:54
Speaker 9: it's one day at a time.
• 3:55
Speaker 10: Hi, iHeart, I am tamer Judge. And my new Year's
• 3:58
Speaker 10: resolution is I'm spend last time on my phone and
• 4:01
  Speaker 10: be more present.
• 4:02
Speaker 11: She is also a liar.
• 4:04
  Speaker 6: No, I'm not.
• 4:05
Speaker 10: I'm not a big resolution person because I feel like
• 4:08
Speaker 10: you set yourself up for disappointment. Just live a good lifestyle.
• 4:11
Speaker 10: But yeah, so that's you know, that's my I would
• 4:14
Speaker 10: say it's my goal to spend less time on my
• 4:17
Speaker 10: phone and be more present.
• 4:19
  Speaker 12: That's a good goal.
• 4:20
Speaker 13: Hey, everybody, this is Brian Austin Green, Dona Badges and
• 4:23
Speaker 13: Randy Spelling, and we are the hosts of the Oldest
• 4:26
Speaker 13: Podcast and our new year's resolution. Mine is, Honestly, I
• 4:30
Speaker 13: think mine is to just be as present as possible,
• 4:35
Speaker 13: to really listen, to really appreciate life, and to be
• 4:38
Speaker 13: present in every moment.
• 4:40
  Speaker 6: I love that.
• 4:40
  Speaker 4: That's a great one.
• 4:42
  Speaker 14: Yeah.
• 4:42
Speaker 15: I'm usually not good with resolutions because I feel if
• 4:45
  Speaker 15: I've set myself a hordline or a bob and I
• 4:48
Speaker 15: have to hit it and I end up rebelling against it.
• 4:50
Speaker 13: How about an intention?
• 4:52
Speaker 15: An intention is the way I love to look at
• 4:54
Speaker 15: this and my intentions heading into twenty twenty four is
• 4:58
Speaker 15: to live so with more of a feeling of abundance
• 5:02
Speaker 15: and worthiness in everything that I do, and take more
• 5:05
Speaker 15: risks and trust that I can do more.
• 5:07
  Speaker 4: Than I think.
• 5:08
Speaker 13: That's great, Yes, absolutely right, right. So mine is to
• 5:14
Speaker 13: infuse creativity and play into everything that I do, because
• 5:21
Speaker 13: there are parts of twenty twenty three that just felt
• 5:25
Speaker 13: heavier and serious, and while you know every moment can't
• 5:29
Speaker 13: be play and laughter, I just noticed for myself that
• 5:33
Speaker 13: the more creative I am, the more that I approach
• 5:36
Speaker 13: a conversation or a task that I have to do
• 5:41
Speaker 13: with creativity, I show up differently, I show up curious,
• 5:45
Speaker 13: I show up open, and I see things that I
• 5:48
Speaker 13: don't normally see. So I know that that will be
• 5:51
Speaker 13: a win for me if I could do more of
• 5:52
Speaker 13: that in twenty twenty four. That's so good.
• 5:54
Speaker 12: Great intentions, that's so good.
• 5:57
Speaker 13: So happy new Year to everyone. Yes, Happy new year everyone.
• 6:02
Speaker 15: Yes, happy new year you guys. We hope you had
• 6:04
Speaker 15: an amazing one and an amazing twenty twenty four.
• 6:07
Speaker 12: Okay, Hi, my name is Eric Winter, and my new
• 6:09
  Speaker 12: Year's resolution I have a couple.
• 6:11
Speaker 16: One is to I want to.
• 6:12
Speaker 5: Improve my overall health.
• 6:14
Speaker 6: I'm really like dedicated to try and figuring that out
• 6:19
Speaker 6: and also spend more family time.
• 6:21
  Speaker 4: Hi.
• 6:22
Speaker 17: I'm Prosetting Sanchez, and my new year's resolution, similar to
• 6:26
Speaker 17: my husband, is, I want to try to cut sugar
• 6:30
Speaker 17: as much as I can. I want to be very healthy.
• 6:34
  Speaker 9: Hi.
• 6:34
Speaker 11: I'm Shannon Doherty host that Let's Be Clear podcast.
• 6:37
Speaker 18: My new Year's resolution is to absolutely live my best
• 6:43
Speaker 18: life possible, to be healthy, to love, to embrace my friendships,
• 6:50
Speaker 18: to save as many animals as I possibly can, and
• 6:54
Speaker 18: to help further spreading the word about cancer, helping raise
• 6:59
Speaker 18: money for research and just awareness in general. That's my
• 7:04
  Speaker 18: new year's resolution.
• 7:06
  Speaker 2: Hi.
• 7:06
Speaker 19: I'm Scott Patterson from the I Am All In podcast
• 7:09
Speaker 19: and my new year's resolution is to donate more time
• 7:13
Speaker 19: and more money to my favorite causes. Happy New Year everyone,
• 7:18
Speaker 19: and made the road rise up to meet you all
• 7:20
Speaker 19: in twenty twenty four.
• 7:22
Speaker 20: Hey guys, I'm Jackie, I'm Jen and we are two
• 7:25
  Speaker 20: Jersey Chase.
• 7:26
  Speaker 11: What's your new Year's resolution?
• 7:27
  Speaker 14: Jack?
• 7:28
Speaker 20: Okay, my new year's resolution is to continue surrounding myself
• 7:33
Speaker 20: with people who make me feel good and not surrounding
• 7:37
Speaker 20: myself with people who don't make me feel good, and
• 7:40
Speaker 20: you can read into that if you want. But just
• 7:44
Speaker 20: want to be around people who bring me peace.
• 7:46
Speaker 11: My new Year's resolution, when it's the same as it
• 7:48
Speaker 11: was really last year, side of the shallow ones I have, well,
• 7:52
Speaker 11: not really shallow, but exercise more and eat more healthy,
• 7:55
Speaker 11: but is to not be such a people pleaser. And
• 7:59
Speaker 11: you know, in terms of what we do, you're not
• 8:03
Speaker 11: supposed to be right. You want to give your opinions,
• 8:05
Speaker 11: and you want to give them in a way that
• 8:07
Speaker 11: is strong, make no mistake about it. But not just
• 8:11
Speaker 11: on the housewives. I mean, I just I feel like
• 8:14
Speaker 11: I do sometimes tell people what they want to hear,
• 8:20
Speaker 11: and it certainly doesn't make for a great housewife. I
• 8:22
Speaker 11: don't want to be mean. I don't want to say
• 8:24
Speaker 11: things in a way that is that is nasty and upsetting.
• 8:27
Speaker 11: But I do feel like at times I just try
• 8:30
Speaker 11: to keep the peace. And let's forget about do the
• 8:33
Speaker 11: housewives for a moment, but in general, all right.
• 8:35
Speaker 20: So jen's going to be a starter in twenty twenty four,
• 8:39
Speaker 20: I can't wait for it all right? Then, then my
• 8:43
Speaker 20: resolution is not going to vibe with yours, because I'm
• 8:46
Speaker 20: gonna have to stay away from.
• 8:47
Speaker 11: You I don't want to start. I do that like
• 8:49
Speaker 11: be able to speak my mind in a way that
• 8:51
Speaker 11: is respectful and authentic.
• 8:54
Speaker 3: Okay, I like it, Yeah, I like it all right.
• 8:57
Speaker 20: Thanks guys, Happy New Year, Thank you so much.
• 8:59
  Speaker 11: Happy New Year.
• 9:00
  Speaker 6: Hey everybody.
• 9:00
Speaker 19: Chris Harrison here, hosts of the most dramatic podcast ever,
• 9:04
Speaker 19: wishing you a very happy new year. The turning of
• 9:07
Speaker 19: a page a new chapter. My new year's resolution in
• 9:12
Speaker 19: twenty twenty four to drink even better wine, eat better food,
• 9:17
Speaker 19: spend more time with the family. That is my resolution.
• 9:21
Speaker 19: Sounds like a good year.
• 9:22
  Speaker 11: Hey.
• 9:23
Speaker 21: This is Jenna Ashkwitz from and That's what You Really
• 9:25
Speaker 21: Miss podcast, and my goals for twenty twenty four are
• 9:29
Speaker 21: to read more, to have a little bit more patience
• 9:33
Speaker 21: with myself, and to be really mindful with my time.
• 9:37
Speaker 21: I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and a
• 9:40
  Speaker 21: happy new year.
• 9:41
Speaker 3: This is marisoul Patent from I Port Forward podcast, and
• 9:46
Speaker 3: my new year's resolution this year is to be an
• 9:51
Speaker 3: even more amazing wife than I already am.
• 9:57
Speaker 6: Man God that so.
• 9:58
Speaker 3: I love my husband so much, and he's so good
• 10:00
Speaker 3: to me, and he's so kind, and I always feel
• 10:02
Speaker 3: like I'm just not as good as he is. I
• 10:04
Speaker 3: want to be as good as his. I want to
• 10:06
Speaker 3: be better because he deserves better. So I got to
• 10:09
Speaker 3: work on that. You know, he likes to go out
• 10:12
Speaker 3: and I never want to go out. I can help
• 10:14
Speaker 3: you with that going on. I know you go out
• 10:16
Speaker 3: every night. Yeah, you can help me with that.
• 10:18
Speaker 22: I make my husband very happy you do.
• 10:21
  Speaker 3: It's okay. What's your neighbor's resolution.
• 10:23
Speaker 22: I'm Alexi Dapola with I Put Forward podcast, and my
• 10:28
Speaker 22: New Year's resolution is, you know, to dedicate time to
• 10:32
Speaker 22: my family and friends, because I feel like a lot
• 10:34
Speaker 22: of times we get lost, you know, and you know
• 10:37
Speaker 22: time goes so quickly and then you just wake up
• 10:40
Speaker 22: and you're like, oh my god, I haven't seen her
• 10:41
Speaker 22: talk to his friend in such a long time or
• 10:43
Speaker 22: to a family member. So my personal things are really
• 10:46
Speaker 22: about family and friends.
• 10:47
Speaker 11: They're really never like about me, like oh, get on.
• 10:49
Speaker 6: A diet or like weight.
• 10:51
Speaker 3: You can do that anytime.
• 10:52
  Speaker 22: Run ten miles.
• 10:53
Speaker 3: I'm gonna jump you and tell you you're an amazing mother.
• 10:56
Speaker 3: You spend all your time with your sons, you really do.
• 11:00
Speaker 3: I don't know how you do everything and run the
• 11:02
Speaker 3: salon and you make time for your friends too. You
• 11:05
Speaker 3: call me all the time and talk and make sure
• 11:07
Speaker 3: that we're connected. You're great at all of that. You
• 11:09
Speaker 3: don't need to be any better than you are.
• 11:11
  Speaker 14: Thank you me.
• 11:12
  Speaker 3: You're a beautiful wife too.
• 11:14
Speaker 22: You're so good to see me bring him so much
• 11:16
  Speaker 22: joy and happiness.
• 11:18
Speaker 14: This is Rachel Levis from Rachel gos Rogue. My New
• 11:22
Speaker 14: Year's resolution is to take everything I've learned this year
• 11:25
Speaker 14: and apply it to become the best version of myself.
• 11:29
Speaker 14: I will continue to focus on my mental well being
• 11:31
Speaker 14: and work to destigmatize asking for help. I intend to
• 11:35
Speaker 14: create an environment that allows me to live with integrity,
• 11:39
Speaker 14: that inspires creativity, and provides a sense of serenity. I
• 11:44
Speaker 14: will no longer enable others by harboring the secrets I've
• 11:47
Speaker 14: been expected to keep.
• 11:49
Speaker 12: I'm Daniel Fischel, I'm right or strong, and I'm Wilfredell
• 11:52
  Speaker 12: from Podmet's World.
• 11:53
Speaker 23: Do you guys have any New Year's resolutions?
• 11:56
Speaker 12: Such boring ones? They're just the most basic, like exercise more,
• 12:01
Speaker 12: uh huh, drink less, don't overeat you know, like I'll
• 12:05
Speaker 12: just like the regular ones. Yeah, I don't think I
• 12:08
Speaker 12: ever have like a that interesting or unique of it.
• 12:11
Speaker 12: And it's the same every year, right, It's always like basically, just.
• 12:13
Speaker 19: Take better care, take better care of yourself.
• 12:15
Speaker 12: Always it comes down to like, yeah, did I trash
• 12:18
Speaker 12: my body in some capacity or didn't exercise enough.
• 12:21
Speaker 16: That's essentially mine too, But I'm getting more specific with
• 12:25
Speaker 16: it this year, like et no. For instance, in the
• 12:28
Speaker 16: first six months of the year, I'm going to get
• 12:31
Speaker 16: myself in the best shape I've ever been in my life.
• 12:33
  Speaker 5: That's that's a goal.
• 12:34
Speaker 16: It's and it's going to be whether that means hiring
• 12:37
Speaker 16: people to help me, getting a meal plan, whatever I
• 12:39
Speaker 16: have to do to invest in myself the first six
• 12:42
Speaker 16: months of the year, I'm going to So I've already
• 12:45
Speaker 16: made that plan. I've already started to put that plan
• 12:47
Speaker 16: into action. So hopefully that is and and all the
• 12:51
Speaker 16: things you said go along with that. You know, I'm
• 12:53
Speaker 16: gonna do dry January at least, and I'm hope I'm
• 12:56
Speaker 16: gonna hope that actually extends to farther farther than that,
• 12:59
Speaker 16: and yeah, so kind of the same stuff like that. Yeah,
• 13:03
Speaker 16: and I want to get my superpower. But that's always
• 13:05
Speaker 16: that's sure year, that's my every year thing. So this
• 13:08
Speaker 16: could be the one.
• 13:10
Speaker 5: I like it, Danielle.
• 13:12
Speaker 23: I usually I don't really call them like resolutions. Of
• 13:15
Speaker 23: course they are like going back, I had I found
• 13:18
Speaker 23: my notes from like my twenty twenty goals. Okay, uh
• 13:23
Speaker 23: my one of my twenty twenty goals was that our
• 13:25
Speaker 23: podcast would be successful.
• 13:27
Speaker 3: Ooh hey, and I like had things yeah, that.
• 13:33
Speaker 12: Was when we were first talking about it.
• 13:34
Speaker 23: First talking about it, I wrote, I just said podcast successful.
• 13:37
Speaker 23: And then I had things like I wanted to release
• 13:40
Speaker 23: five new be Free products. So those were some of
• 13:43
Speaker 23: like my professional goals going into this next year. Last
• 13:49
Speaker 23: year I was able to direct my first primetime TV show,
• 13:53
Speaker 23: and last year one of my goals was to direct
• 13:56
Speaker 23: for a channel other than Disney Channel, not because I
• 13:58
Speaker 23: don't love Disney Channel, but because as I just wanted
• 14:01
Speaker 23: to expand my direction. I was able to do that,
• 14:04
Speaker 23: so that this year I want to do even more
• 14:07
Speaker 23: of those. There's some be Free stuff that I want
• 14:10
Speaker 23: to do. I would love to try and get be
• 14:12
Speaker 23: Free into a store, so not you know, like a
• 14:16
Speaker 23: brick and mortar store, so it's not just direct to
• 14:18
Speaker 23: consumer and QVC. And then personally, my real number one
• 14:24
Speaker 23: personal goal for twenty twenty four is for my marriage.
• 14:28
Speaker 23: I finally feel like with Keaton being you know, two
• 14:32
Speaker 23: and a half now he'll be three next year, I
• 14:35
Speaker 23: feel very much like I've come out of the sort
• 14:38
Speaker 23: of fog that the first two years of having two
• 14:41
Speaker 23: kids had me in, which was very much like everything
• 14:45
Speaker 23: revolved around all hands on children, all hands on, hands
• 14:49
Speaker 23: on deck and Jensen and I just kind of looked
• 14:51
Speaker 23: at each other and we were like, love you, We're
• 14:53
Speaker 23: in this, but exactly our relationship is going to have
• 14:58
Speaker 23: to go to the wayside for a little bit. And
• 15:00
Speaker 23: now I feel like they're in. The kids are in
• 15:02
Speaker 23: a really good place. They're really solid, We've got good
• 15:04
Speaker 23: routines down, they're a little easier, and so this year
• 15:07
Speaker 23: I want to make a priority to have just as
• 15:10
Speaker 23: much of a focus on the health and wellness of
• 15:13
Speaker 23: our marriage, and that involves having a date night, whether
• 15:15
Speaker 23: that's night or day afternoon. Sure, I just want to
• 15:18
Speaker 23: find more time for us to do things together. So
• 15:23
Speaker 23: a focus on my marriage and professionally I've got I've
• 15:27
Speaker 23: got all kinds of things that looking forward to. What
• 15:29
Speaker 23: do we let's discuss a podcast full for this next year.
• 15:34
Speaker 23: What do we think is that we've already talked about
• 15:36
Speaker 23: that for twenty twenty four, we're toning down some of
• 15:38
  Speaker 23: the live shows.
• 15:40
Speaker 16: Yep, there are just too many.
• 15:42
Speaker 12: There were wonderful, we're them down. Toning them down sounds
• 15:46
Speaker 12: like we're changing the tone of the show.
• 15:48
Speaker 23: Where wing down the number we're doing less of them. Yeah,
• 15:52
Speaker 23: and so what do we what are your what are
• 15:54
Speaker 23: your podcast goals? What are your pod meets world goals
• 15:56
Speaker 23: for twenty twenty four?
• 16:01
Speaker 12: I mean, I always love the parts of the podcast
• 16:03
Speaker 12: that I don't expect, you know, So I would say,
• 16:05
Speaker 12: like I want I want to I would like to
• 16:09
Speaker 12: move beyond just recapping or just interviewing and finding, you know,
• 16:13
Speaker 12: like when we did the drafts, I thought that was
• 16:15
Speaker 12: super fun and like reinvigorated. So I'd like to discover
• 16:18
Speaker 12: something something new about this show or each other that
• 16:21
Speaker 12: you know, we might not necessarily have in our minds
• 16:24
Speaker 12: right now, that we haven't planned. I love the like,
• 16:27
Speaker 12: the surprises are always the best part of doing this podcast.
• 16:29
Speaker 12: So yeah, I love forger surprises. So being open to them,
• 16:33
Speaker 12: I guess is a resolution, right right, opening new idea
• 16:36
Speaker 12: and trying different things and like stretching a little bit.
• 16:39
Speaker 23: Yeah, and instead of figuring out whether or not we
• 16:41
Speaker 23: want to do it, because do we think it's going
• 16:42
Speaker 23: to go over well, just being like, let's do it
• 16:44
Speaker 23: and see what happens. Being accepting a failure in the
• 16:48
Speaker 23: hopes of possibly finding gold.
• 16:49
Speaker 11: I love that I'm going to take yours cool.
• 16:53
Speaker 23: Happy New Year to both.
• 16:54
Speaker 11: Happy be New Year.
• 16:56
Speaker 4: Hey, it's Bethany Frankel from Just b and rewives New
• 16:59
  Speaker 4: Year Resolutions.
• 17:01
  Speaker 5: Now.
• 17:02
Speaker 4: I never make New Year's resolutions. Last year I made
• 17:07
Speaker 4: a resolution for the first time in a long time
• 17:09
Speaker 4: that I would learn how to do my makeup. I
• 17:12
Speaker 4: can't say it was necessarily just a New Year's resolution,
• 17:15
Speaker 4: but it was something overall that I really wanted to achieve.
• 17:19
Speaker 4: And as a result of me trying to do my
• 17:22
Speaker 4: own makeup because I was watching makeup videos, I was
• 17:25
Speaker 4: also like contemplating moving towards retiring in some fashion, like
• 17:30
Speaker 4: really slowing down. And that's when I started doing just
• 17:34
Speaker 4: wacky videos using stuff that was in my drawer that
• 17:37
Speaker 4: I didn't understand or know what it was, or some
• 17:40
Speaker 4: makeup artists left it and ended up comparing it to
• 17:44
Speaker 4: drugstore stuff, and just was playing around. I barely knew
• 17:47
Speaker 4: how to do I didn't know how to actually post
• 17:49
Speaker 4: a post. I just looked on the phone and figured
• 17:52
Speaker 4: out that you could just post a post it. I
• 17:55
Speaker 4: still don't know how to edit one, or make something shorter,
• 17:58
Speaker 4: or put the end of something in the I just
• 18:01
Speaker 4: post it, And I don't know how to do any
• 18:04
Speaker 4: other tricks or filters or gimmicks or stuff. I just
• 18:08
Speaker 4: know how to post, which is probably why people complain
• 18:11
Speaker 4: about my lighting and my posts or a train wreck.
• 18:15
Speaker 4: So I guess having some version of a resolution did
• 18:19
Speaker 4: lead to an entirely new chapter as an accidental influencer.
• 18:25
Speaker 4: So when asked what my New Year's resolution is this year,
• 18:29
Speaker 4: I struggle. In many ways. I've already started my New
• 18:33
Speaker 4: Year's resolution because I've been stressed a bit lately and
• 18:39
Speaker 4: noticed that the way I've been handling myself has been
• 18:42
Speaker 4: a lot better, just being calm like, not getting activated
• 18:44
Speaker 4: about it, and I observe my own behavior and commend
• 18:49
Speaker 4: my behavior. I would also say to continue a journey
• 18:53
Speaker 4: that I started somewhere maybe halfway through twenty twenty three,
• 18:57
Speaker 4: with no resolution in mind, that not everything needed to
• 19:02
Speaker 4: be said, and that it was easier and less stressful
• 19:05
Speaker 4: and less activating to just not only find the positive,
• 19:10
Speaker 4: but just ask questions about thought provoking topics in a
• 19:18
Speaker 4: more positive way. That you get more bees with honey
• 19:21
Speaker 4: than you do with vinegar, and that I have a
• 19:24
  Speaker 4: daughter who I'm a role model for, so I don't
• 19:27
Speaker 4: want to get myself into drama unnecessarily if it's really
• 19:33
Speaker 4: not that important to me. I think coming off of
• 19:37
Speaker 4: the Housewives, I was so used to arguing for so
• 19:39
Speaker 4: long that I got used to just being known and
• 19:43
Speaker 4: celebrated for that, for the conflict, for the snarky lines,
• 19:48
Speaker 4: for the one liners, and spending a quarter of my
• 19:51
Speaker 4: life on reality television, I became trained to kind of
• 19:57
Speaker 4: be in conflict in some way, subconsciously or consciously. And
• 20:02
Speaker 4: then one day I just decided I didn't want to
• 20:05
Speaker 4: be in conflict anymore. It just wasn't fun, it wasn't positive,
• 20:08
Speaker 4: it wasn't enjoyable. And it might be a quick hit
• 20:12
Speaker 4: for something that you say that you may even really mean,
• 20:15
Speaker 4: but it's not necessary. Some things are necessary to say
• 20:19
Speaker 4: and some things are not, and you have to pick
• 20:21
Speaker 4: your battles. And my New Year's resolution every year will
• 20:27
Speaker 4: be to try less to sweat the small stuff, and
• 20:31
Speaker 4: to try to stay out of the weeds and to
• 20:35
Speaker 4: empower and educate others to be able to get into
• 20:39
Speaker 4: those weeds for me and hope that they can handle it.
• 20:42
Speaker 4: It is not easy to deal with all my weeds,
• 20:46
Speaker 4: so hopefully somebody can do.
• 20:49
  Speaker 6: It this year.
• 20:50
Speaker 24: Hey guys, it's Jana Kramer from the wind Down podcast
• 20:53
Speaker 24: on iHeartRadio. Well, first and foremost, I just want to
• 20:56
Speaker 24: say happy New Year's Happy twenty twenty four. We're in
• 21:00
  Speaker 24: a new year and it's a new start. It's a
• 21:03
Speaker 24: fresh start for all of us, and that's what I
• 21:04
Speaker 24: think is so exciting about the new year. I know
• 21:07
Speaker 24: it can seem overwhelming, especially with making those New Year's resolutions.
• 21:11
Speaker 24: So here's something that I do that I think could
• 21:13
Speaker 24: also be helpful for those that feel that overwhelmed feeling
• 21:16
Speaker 24: of having a New Year's resolution and then going, oh wait,
• 21:19
Speaker 24: what was it again, and not sticking to it. So
• 21:22
Speaker 24: I read this book called The Happiness Project, and basically
• 21:25
Speaker 24: that book was every month, you make a resolution or
• 21:28
Speaker 24: what you want to do different that month. So maybe
• 21:31
Speaker 24: one month is I'm going to stop swearing as much.
• 21:34
Speaker 24: Maybe the next month is I'm going to be more
• 21:36
Speaker 24: positive and not be so pessimistic. I'm definitely going to
• 21:39
Speaker 24: add that one back in. Another one is I'm just
• 21:42
Speaker 24: going to be happier and not stressed. So my wish
• 21:45
Speaker 24: for all of you this year is to not only
• 21:48
Speaker 24: believe that it's going to be an amazing new year
• 21:51
Speaker 24: for all of us, but to go into the new
• 21:53
Speaker 24: year positive and having that train of thought, because that's
• 21:57
Speaker 24: going to be My biggest resolution for this year is
• 21:59
Speaker 24: to be more positive, less pessimistic, more half full than
• 22:03
Speaker 24: half empty. And every month I'm going to set out
• 22:06
Speaker 24: an intention for that month and really try to stick
• 22:08
Speaker 24: to it, and I hope you guys do the same.
• 22:10
Speaker 24: So happy New Year. Let this be the best new
• 22:12
Speaker 24: year for all of us.
• 22:14
Speaker 2: Hey everyone, I'm Dean.
• 22:16
Speaker 1: Bell, I'm Caitlin Bell, and I'm Jared Habn and we
• 22:19
Speaker 1: are the hosts of Help we Suck at being newlyweds.
• 22:22
Speaker 1: My new Year's resolution Jared this year is to just
• 22:24
  Speaker 1: get super buff.
• 22:26
Speaker 3: I want to get as buff as I possibly can't.
• 22:28
Speaker 20: My new year's resolution is to meet new people, my
• 22:34
  Speaker 20: new friends.
• 22:34
Speaker 3: We're moving to a new city, so that.
• 22:36
  Speaker 6: Is my goal.
• 22:36
Speaker 1: And my new year's resolution is to make sure that
• 22:39
Speaker 1: this podcast goes on into twenty twenty five.
• 22:42
Speaker 6: That's probably the best one out there.
