Murder Without a Body: David Gilroy and the Disappearance of Suzanne Pilley
In May 2010, Edinburgh bookkeeper Suzanne Pilley was caught on camera twenty metres from her office door, and was never seen again. Her body has never been found, yet her married former lover, David Gilroy, was convicted of her murder on evidence from CCTV, phone records, air fresheners and a car with broken suspension after an unexplained detour through Argyll. This is the story of how Scotland proved a murder without a body, and the law that now bears Suzanne's name.
