Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Off the bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Say Hester and Hester got it five out of five.
- 0:07Speaker 1: From carrying each other to and Natty to carrying each
- 0:10Speaker 1: other on the air, there's prop control live from the
- 0:17Speaker 1: Raising Kine studio.
- 0:19Speaker 3: It's off the bench, all right, welcome back here off
- 0:36Speaker 3: the bench our number three.
- 0:38Speaker 4: It is nine a m. Central Standard Time tripod rolling
- 0:44Speaker 4: with you today. Jake is in Biloxi, Memphis, is probably
- 0:47Speaker 4: dominating nine New World Series. Got Lady Kane Landing Donovan
- 0:55Speaker 4: sit across the table from me, and I am I'm very,
- 1:00Speaker 4: very glad that we are here in the comfort of
- 1:05Speaker 4: our own home state, home city, and the comfort of
- 1:09Speaker 4: this radio station. Right now. We complain about traffic a
- 1:12Speaker 4: lot sometimes here in the capital city. It's a lot
- 1:16Speaker 4: road systems I wouldn't say are strong to quite strong.
- 1:21Speaker 4: A lot of people, a lot of people got to
- 1:23Speaker 4: get places. But we should be very thankful that we
- 1:28Speaker 4: are not a Knicks fan in New York City. Two
- 1:31Speaker 4: day they're having their celebration parade, the Knicks on a
- 1:37Speaker 4: historical run for them. Jake actually is he actually there
- 1:42Speaker 4: was the whole He's a liar. He's a liar.
- 1:47Speaker 5: He's in New York.
- 1:47Speaker 4: He's in New York City, always known. He's a love
- 1:51Speaker 4: New York City. They're having their celebration parade today. And now,
- 1:56Speaker 4: like most big cities and most like professional sports, they're
- 2:02Speaker 4: like they're split right though. Usually the fan base fan
- 2:05Speaker 4: bases are a lot of times split again again, Baseball
- 2:09Speaker 4: you got the Yankees, you got the Mets, and like
- 2:11Speaker 4: la you got all sorts of things. Like there's usually
- 2:14Speaker 4: fan bases and they don't like each other. But it
- 2:16Speaker 4: seems like in basketball, like most of New York is
- 2:21Speaker 4: a Knicks fan. So like this is a huge city obviously,
- 2:25Speaker 4: and it brings everybody. I think the Knicks brought everybody together,
- 2:28Speaker 4: galvanized the fan base. I mean everybody there was excited.
- 2:33Speaker 4: So they're all excited to get to the parade and celebrate.
- 2:35Speaker 4: You know, New York City loves a parade. My got
- 2:38Speaker 4: like a million of them lined up for the Macy's parade.
- 2:42Speaker 4: They line up for in Times Square. You got people
- 2:44Speaker 4: at the New Year's events that have to come and
- 2:47Speaker 4: that you can't leave. You got to put a diaper on. Yeah,
- 2:50Speaker 4: grown grown ass adults putting diapers on just to watch
- 2:52Speaker 4: a ball drop. How many diapers are being worn today
- 2:56Speaker 4: in New York City. The lines. This looks like if
- 3:00Speaker 4: I had to picture, you know, outside of like pain,
- 3:05Speaker 4: being some sort of painful situation, war situation, Outside of
- 3:13Speaker 4: those things like this is what my hell would be
- 3:16Speaker 4: is being stuck side to side with total strangers with
- 3:20Speaker 4: no out like look at this. Look at this video
- 3:22Speaker 4: from the subway system in New York City. Right now.
- 3:25Speaker 5: You know it's hot in there, No, it's hot.
- 3:27Speaker 4: It is underground. They are at a standstill, shoulder to
- 3:31Speaker 4: shoulder like they're at Reggie's at at one thirty am.
- 3:34Speaker 5: Are they trying to get out on the train.
- 3:37Speaker 4: They're trying to get out?
- 3:38Speaker 5: How are they not able to get out?
- 3:40Speaker 4: Because there's probably people and the streets are blocked off too,
- 3:43Speaker 4: So the streets are blocked off, barricaded. They didn't open
- 3:46Speaker 4: up certain parts until I think like seven am or something,
- 3:48Speaker 4: so they're just stuck underground, side by side, sweating messes.
- 3:52Speaker 4: You know, there's people underground that might be living there,
- 3:55Speaker 4: pooping right there. You might you might be standing right
- 3:58Speaker 4: next to it.
- 3:59Speaker 5: I was thinking, did actually pass away?
- 4:02Speaker 4: I would pass away just from freaking the you know
- 4:06Speaker 4: what out? Yes, this looks.
- 4:08Speaker 5: Like, my hell, why do they all look so calm?
- 4:10Speaker 4: They shouldn't be calm. No, they should not be calm.
- 4:13Speaker 4: This too early in the morning. I guess it's like
- 4:15Speaker 4: people aren't you know. I don't know. I wanted to
- 4:19Speaker 4: say so early that people might not be like crazy,
- 4:21Speaker 4: intoxicated and obnoxious. Yet Yeah, well they took off.
- 4:25Speaker 6: A word to go to the Knicks parade, so like
- 4:27Speaker 6: they're probably not as irritable as they otherwise would be.
- 4:30Speaker 4: Yep. So somebody tweeted out, like I've been stuck without
- 4:35Speaker 4: moving underground for over thirty minutes. Now there's no more room.
- 4:40Speaker 4: At seven twenty eight, there was a Nick's Parade update.
- 4:44Speaker 4: There's no more room. The parade starts at ten am.
- 4:49Speaker 5: It's ten over there now, so it's already started.
- 4:53Speaker 4: That point.
- 4:54Speaker 6: Get back on the subway, go down a little bit,
- 4:58Speaker 6: get off and just try to walk it from the street,
- 5:00Speaker 6: like you.
- 5:01Speaker 4: Got to get off there. Yep. I don't know that's
- 5:04Speaker 4: what's saying. I don't know how they're they're doing it today,
- 5:06Speaker 4: but said in the seven o'clock hour, or maybe it's
- 5:09Speaker 4: eight o'clock hour in New York City, uh NYPD announced
- 5:12Speaker 4: that there is quote no more room at the Knicks parade.
- 5:17Speaker 4: Don't come, don't show up. They didn't say that, but
- 5:21Speaker 4: they said there is literally no more room. You got
- 5:28Speaker 4: cops here holding barricades back. It's mayhem, all to celebrate
- 5:32Speaker 4: a basketball team, very good basketball team.
- 5:38Speaker 6: Dude rocking a Tyson Chandler jersey. You hadn't played in
- 5:41Speaker 6: New York in like fifteen years.
- 5:44Speaker 4: Luke's over there, just thinking, may wish I was in
- 5:46Speaker 4: New York right now? Why no, do you like crowds?
- 5:56Speaker 4: You're young? You still you can still go handle the crowds.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Update earlier in the show, if you missed it, casually
- 6:04Speaker 4: asked Luke feels a decent golfer. He said he recently
- 6:07Speaker 4: shot at sixty nine, a little jerk. I didn't mean that,
- 6:16Speaker 4: Love you, Luke. Update Gray mcdalla's minus two right now?
- 6:24Speaker 4: How about that even in the conditions? Okay, So, Taylor,
- 6:29Speaker 4: you brought this to my attention earlier today. I saw
- 6:32Speaker 4: it on I saw it on the socials. Since then,
- 6:36Speaker 4: there's some a lot of times we tried to stay
- 6:40Speaker 4: away from comparisons, like, you know, is so and so
- 6:44Speaker 4: as good as so and so was? Is this team
- 6:47Speaker 4: as good as that? Team was LS you great? Making
- 6:52Speaker 4: a comparison recently Joe Burrow, he stated that, oh I
- 7:01Speaker 4: saw this too, the Cincinnati Bengals this year, the Year
- 7:05Speaker 4: of Our Lord twenty twenty six reminds him a lot
- 7:10Speaker 4: of the twenty nineteen LSU football teo. What are you
- 7:15Speaker 4: laughing at? Taylor? Okay, So a lot of thoughts to this.
- 7:22Speaker 4: As a quarterback, as a leader, as a franchise guy.
- 7:25Speaker 4: You gotta be confident. Love love of confidence, quiet confidence,
- 7:30Speaker 4: loud confidence, whatever it is. You gotta be confident. If
- 7:32Speaker 4: you're a head coach, if you're a quarterback. That's what
- 7:34Speaker 4: makes you great, That's what gets you to the elite level.
- 7:38Speaker 4: That's what gets you to being a professional athlete is confidence.
- 7:41Speaker 4: And you have to speak in the confidence. You got
- 7:43Speaker 4: to make other people around you just as confident if
- 7:45Speaker 4: you're a leader. But there's things that you could also
- 7:51Speaker 4: say that just don't make any sense. This doesn't make
- 7:54Speaker 4: a lot of sense.
- 7:54Speaker 2: No.
- 7:55Speaker 5: I was wondering, like, why does he think that?
- 7:56Speaker 4: Why are you comparing yourself? For one, you're well, if
- 7:59Speaker 4: you just take a step back and you're not NENELSU
- 8:01Speaker 4: got me, We got Jamar, Yeah, You're yeah, same two
- 8:05Speaker 4: guys the whole team. Yeah. Like, just I like if
- 8:09Speaker 4: you're just like, if you're in North Dakota and you're
- 8:13Speaker 4: just a sports fan, you're like not an LSU fan,
- 8:15Speaker 4: You're just like, he's comparing himself to college team. Yeah,
- 8:19Speaker 4: So you're either comparing yourself to college team what isn't
- 8:22Speaker 4: that's not a great look, or you're comparison yourself to
- 8:25Speaker 4: comparing yourself to the greatest team to ever play the
- 8:28Speaker 4: game at that level. So I don't understand the comparison.
- 8:35Speaker 4: I love Joe Burrow.
- 8:37Speaker 5: Did he elaborate?
- 8:38Speaker 4: I heard the sound Bye, I'm just taking that and running. Yeah,
- 8:41Speaker 4: I'm judging a book that's cover right now. Certainly didn't
- 8:44Speaker 4: listen to every word, but.
- 8:46Speaker 5: I mean, I don't think you have to.
- 8:47Speaker 2: But like, I just I'm just curious why he would
- 8:51Speaker 2: say something like that.
- 8:53Speaker 7: He didn't.
- 8:53Speaker 6: He didn't say because of players. He just said, like
- 8:56Speaker 6: the vibes, I thrive on pressure. Sure, there's a lot
- 9:00Speaker 6: of pressure on me, he said, I look at this
- 9:03Speaker 6: team very similar to that team. I'm excited to get
- 9:06Speaker 6: moving like rampant right up into training camp. He said,
- 9:10Speaker 6: I think there's so much greatness that we're gonna be
- 9:11Speaker 6: able to achieve this year.
- 9:14Speaker 4: I'll give him this.
- 9:16Speaker 6: The divisions is weak in my opinion, as it hasn't
- 9:18Speaker 6: been in like six years.
- 9:20Speaker 4: I mean, it's not great.
- 9:22Speaker 6: I have to assume that the Steelers are gonna win
- 9:24Speaker 6: nine or ten games because they've done that for the
- 9:27Speaker 6: last like ten years. Don't really care who their coaching
- 9:29Speaker 6: quarterback is. What is Lamar going to be under a
- 9:32Speaker 6: new head coach, new offensive coordinator. The Browns are the Browns.
- 9:36Speaker 6: They're going to be awful because well the Cleveland Browns
- 9:38Speaker 6: are always awful. So it's a winnable division for the
- 9:42Speaker 6: first time in a while. I don't hate some of
- 9:45Speaker 6: the moves they've made. I don't think they made a
- 9:47Speaker 6: lot of splash moves. But they showed up the D line,
- 9:49Speaker 6: they showed up the O line. They needed to do that.
- 9:52Speaker 6: Secondary is still a little bit of questions, Like I
- 9:55Speaker 6: could see where Joe's coming from in terms of like
- 9:58Speaker 6: a win loss in the division standpoint, But I just
- 10:01Speaker 6: think this puts a lot of unnecessary pressure on this
- 10:03Speaker 6: team because, like you know, let's say they lose two
- 10:07Speaker 6: or three games in a row. It's the NFL that
- 10:08Speaker 6: happens all the time you do that, up, here comes
- 10:11Speaker 6: to critics, Here comes everybody who's like, oh, it was
- 10:13Speaker 6: a stupid thing to say in the offseason.
- 10:14Speaker 4: Why would you do that.
- 10:16Speaker 6: I get it, I get why he's excited.
- 10:19Speaker 4: I just yeah, of course we lost. I compared myself
- 10:23Speaker 4: to a college team. Uh, we can't compete in the NFL.
- 10:26Speaker 4: We can't compete in the NFL. And they do have
- 10:29Speaker 4: the greatest, one of the greatest head coaches of all time, Zach.
- 10:34Speaker 2: I mean he he somehow escaped all the firings last season.
- 10:38Speaker 4: I mean, obviously Mike Tomlin and John Harball get fired,
- 10:43Speaker 4: but Zach Zach stays who saw that coming. He's the
- 10:48Speaker 4: only head coach in the AFC North that.
- 10:50Speaker 6: Survived wild Although in the check is no Joe Burrow said,
- 10:56Speaker 6: this team right now could compete against the twenty nineteen.
- 11:01Speaker 4: And that's not a slight to the twenty nineteen. There's
- 11:04Speaker 4: no college football team ever that should be able to
- 11:07Speaker 4: compete with any NFL team. I don't care if it's
- 11:09Speaker 4: the Browns of the Jets. Twenty nineteen team is the
- 11:13Speaker 4: greatest team to ever play the sport at that level,
- 11:18Speaker 4: at the college football level, you can try.
- 11:22Speaker 5: To say Alabama.
- 11:25Speaker 4: True, thank you, Marler, I appreciate that. Thanks for that take. Yeah,
- 11:29Speaker 4: you can make arguments for brother, but like you can't
- 11:32Speaker 4: do it.
- 11:34Speaker 5: No, he is different. That is the best team of
- 11:37Speaker 5: all time.
- 11:38Speaker 4: And so it is a it's a you know whatever, Joe,
- 11:41Speaker 4: do your thing. Man, You're you're one of the best
- 11:44Speaker 4: to do it. I don't like this particular comment, but
- 11:49Speaker 4: that doesn't mean anything. I love you being confident. He
- 11:51Speaker 4: wants everybody talking about the Bengals and he should. And
- 11:53Speaker 4: to Taylor's point, this is a very that's a very
- 11:56Speaker 4: gettable division. And it was last year too. I mean
- 11:59Speaker 4: the raven So rock bottom for the Ravens is eight wins,
- 12:01Speaker 4: and they did that last year. I think they were
- 12:03Speaker 4: eight to nine last year with Lamar Jackson the quarterback,
- 12:05Speaker 4: and and that's with Lamar missing like a month of
- 12:08Speaker 4: games too. So rock bottom with Lamar as your quarterback
- 12:12Speaker 4: for the Ravens is eight wins. That's rock bottom. I
- 12:15Speaker 4: think they're going to be very much improved. You're right,
- 12:18Speaker 4: Steelers probably gonna win this first year head coach. There
- 12:21Speaker 4: at least Mike McCarthy Aaron Rodgers back for his last ride.
- 12:25Speaker 4: Bengals are going to Bingle. I'm sorry, the Browns are
- 12:28Speaker 4: gonna brown. The Bengals have an opportunity now. Their front
- 12:31Speaker 4: office and their head coach are not very not the best,
- 12:35Speaker 4: but they got the talent. So can you certainly make
- 12:39Speaker 4: a playoff push? You certainly can. But I do think
- 12:42Speaker 4: the Ravens are going to be much more improved this year.
- 12:46Speaker 5: Well yeah, they had an overrated coach last year.
- 12:49Speaker 4: They are. I think they're the team that one of
- 12:50Speaker 4: the teams I took that would have wins the season ago,
- 12:59Speaker 4: they had eight, so I predicted I think I've predicted
- 13:01Speaker 4: a couple weeks before that that they'd get to twelve. Yeah,
- 13:04Speaker 4: so that one is just adn to win on there.
- 13:07Speaker 4: I don't think you're gonna keep them more down for
- 13:09Speaker 4: at least in the regular season. One of the best
- 13:12Speaker 4: regular season quarterbacks out there him and Justin Justin Herbert.
- 13:17Speaker 4: So we'll see. But anyway, I didn't I didn't love this.
- 13:19Speaker 4: I didn't love this quote from Joe.
- 13:21Speaker 5: But you know what, I feel neutral about it.
- 13:23Speaker 4: I mean it's it's not like I hate it, yeah,
- 13:25Speaker 4: but it's just like it's doesn't make any it doesn't
- 13:28Speaker 4: make any sense. Are you saying the Bengals are going
- 13:30Speaker 4: to be the best team to ever play NFL football?
- 13:34Speaker 6: Or are you saying they're not better than a college
- 13:36Speaker 6: team that See that's where we're sitting here. Maybe it's
- 13:40Speaker 6: just the vibes, like man, this we love to go,
- 13:43Speaker 6: we love to go party. In two thousand and eight teams,
- 13:44Speaker 6: our guys party here again. I mean, it's it's a
- 13:47Speaker 6: winnable division, as winnable has been in a while. I
- 13:49Speaker 6: just I think there's still holes. Like they did a
- 13:52Speaker 6: good job shoring up that D line. I worry about
- 13:55Speaker 6: their secondary and that's a division that's gonna throw the football.
- 13:59Speaker 6: I mean, you still Aaron Rodgers, you know what Lamar
- 14:01Speaker 6: is going to do?
- 14:02Speaker 4: Again?
- 14:03Speaker 6: Who cares about the Browns? But I mean you got
- 14:05Speaker 6: to play those teams twice a piece, so it's it's
- 14:09Speaker 6: gonna be tough.
- 14:09Speaker 4: They can do it, all right, Taylor. You taking Joe
- 14:11Speaker 4: Burrow Baker Mayfield, Oh, Joe Burrow. He taking Lamar Jackson
- 14:17Speaker 4: Baker Mayfield, Lamoar. I mean Lamar's got two mvbs, justin
- 14:23Speaker 4: Herbert Baker Mayfield. They got Jake's not here. Uh, this
- 14:29Speaker 4: guy hates Baker.
- 14:30Speaker 6: I'm gonna take Baker because like, look, he's got the
- 14:34Speaker 6: he's got the comeback wins man. I mean in the
- 14:36Speaker 6: fourth quarter. He knows how to win games. Like I
- 14:38Speaker 6: really like Justin Herbert. I think he's more talented. He
- 14:41Speaker 6: and Dunlanton of that in his career. I feel like
- 14:44Speaker 6: Baker deserves to be in the AFC. North just feels like,
- 14:52Speaker 6: I mean, not the Browns. Don't go back to the Browns.
- 14:55Speaker 6: He looks like this the kind of gritty like quarterback
- 14:58Speaker 6: that should be playing Chris Steve.
- 15:00Speaker 4: How about this?
- 15:01Speaker 6: He didn't get a contract extension with the Box. Rogers
- 15:04Speaker 6: retires Pittsburgh Steelish quarterback Baker Mayfield with Mike McCarthy.
- 15:08Speaker 4: That seems like a fit to me. That does seem
- 15:11Speaker 4: like a fit. Baker's always done well in the West
- 15:15Speaker 4: Coast style offense like it. Why not wonder you hate this? Talk?
- 15:23Speaker 5: Right? I'm okay with it? Why am I being accused
- 15:28Speaker 5: of that?
- 15:32Speaker 4: Uh? Anybody do any cooking this weekend? If you are,
- 15:39Speaker 4: you go to Rouses.
- 15:40Speaker 5: Yeah, That's why I'm not.
- 15:42Speaker 4: Go to Rouses. Rousses dot com, our friends, our partners

- 17:29Speaker 4: about the best office technology out there. Copiers, scanners, printers,
- 17:35Speaker 4: whatever it is. They have the technology for you for
- 17:38Speaker 4: locations in Louisiana. But man, they're shipping technology. They're shipping
- 17:42Speaker 4: these printers and scanning, they're shipping them all over the country.
- 17:44Speaker 4: But they are Louisiana Company here to help you. Partners
- 17:48Speaker 4: with the l s U, parts of the Saints, Partners
- 17:49Speaker 4: of the Pelican, for Agent, Kass, you name it. They
- 17:51Speaker 4: are partners with them. Why because they are the best.
- 17:55Speaker 4: They have the best technology. They're keeping that paper trail
- 17:57Speaker 4: running because you know, they like if you've worked in

- 20:02Speaker 4: It's crazy. This only happens every four years.
- 20:05Speaker 5: I was talking about the World Cup forever and.
- 20:07Speaker 4: It's in the US of A and he's not here.
- 20:14Speaker 4: What I'm hearing I didn't watch who else isn't here anymore,
- 20:21Speaker 4: Christiano Ronaldo. The draw is a tough scene. The drawl
- 20:26Speaker 4: Portugal ties. We don't call it draws around here, we
- 20:30Speaker 4: call it ties. They tied Congo. I don't think known
- 20:35Speaker 4: as a powerhouse. Portugal is known as a powerhouse. Yeah,
- 20:42Speaker 4: all the people on television, all the people around, all
- 20:45Speaker 4: the soccer experts are pretty I'm trying to respectfully say,
- 20:51Speaker 4: you don't get it anymore, Bud, Like you don't have
- 20:53Speaker 4: the speed, You're not doing a whole lot out there,
- 20:56Speaker 4: not bringing a lot to the table, and even questioning
- 20:59Speaker 4: if port your goal should bench Rinaldo, which is tough
- 21:03Speaker 4: to say. Age catches up with everybody unless you're messy.
- 21:07Speaker 4: It catches up with everybody, and like the whole will
- 21:09Speaker 4: make MESSI getting the hat trick probably like the worst
- 21:12Speaker 4: thing that could have happened to the comparisons, all the
- 21:15Speaker 4: comparison like people age differently. I mean, obviously he still
- 21:19Speaker 4: got it, Ronaldo doesn't.
- 21:21Speaker 2: The difference is messy. Before the game went to rejuven me,
- 21:26Speaker 2: Rinaldo didn't. So messy feels super young.
- 21:30Speaker 4: We got about that. I did. I saw Messi in
- 21:32Speaker 4: the lobby when I was over there, him up. Oh yeah, like, hey,
- 21:36Speaker 4: good look in the cup.
- 21:38Speaker 5: Big.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Do you really thought I was about to give you
- 21:44Speaker 2: like an analysis right there?
- 21:45Speaker 5: You turn around.
- 21:48Speaker 4: You it's as good as my analysis is. There was
- 21:53Speaker 4: actually a Congo player players in soccer, I think so sportsman,
- 21:59Speaker 4: it's probably Congo Sportsman, to your point, it probably is
- 22:02Speaker 4: something weird. A footballer, I well know what it is.
- 22:05Speaker 4: It's got to be something weird though. Anyway, somebody that
- 22:07Speaker 4: plays the game of soccer for the Congo national team said, yes,
- 22:14Speaker 4: it was a little bit surprising to see that he
- 22:19Speaker 4: was a lot slower than we expected. They said, however,
- 22:22Speaker 4: it is an honor to play next to them on
- 22:25Speaker 4: this stage. So being as respectful as part and I
- 22:28Speaker 4: think everybody is, they respect the greatness all that, blah
- 22:31Speaker 4: blah blah. He ain't got it. So Portugal ties. We
- 22:36Speaker 4: don't say draw around here because it's this is America.
- 22:40Speaker 4: Hey tie Congo England. England defeats Croatia four to two.
- 22:48Speaker 4: Do we decide? Is it Harry Kane?
- 22:51Speaker 2: Ye?
- 22:51Speaker 4: Okay, it's not Henry Harry Kane. Nobody, none of us
- 22:54Speaker 4: knew that. The other day. Dang it. They beat him
- 22:56Speaker 4: four to two. Uh Ghana beats Panama one nil yesterday,
- 23:00Speaker 4: and then Columbia takes down use Pakistan three to one,
- 23:05Speaker 4: and then Austria. Oh no, that was tuesday. Austra beat
- 23:09Speaker 4: Jordan on Tuesday three to one. And then today, let's see,
- 23:13Speaker 4: we got up in the lineup today in the World
- 23:15Speaker 4: Cup scene. Oh we got Landra is your team? No,
- 23:19Speaker 4: chech no?
- 23:21Speaker 5: Is that my team?
- 23:22Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 23:22Speaker 5: Okay?
- 23:23Speaker 4: Czech Republic also formerly known as Man Come on, they
- 23:29Speaker 4: have a rhapsody Bohemia Bohemia, that's right. Then Switzerland takes
- 23:33Speaker 4: on Bosnia, yep, and then Canada takes on Qatar or
- 23:40Speaker 4: cutter however you want.
- 23:41Speaker 5: To pronounce her.
- 23:42Speaker 4: And then tonight eight pm your real team, Alandra, Mexico
- 23:49Speaker 4: versus South Korea. I'm excited for that. South Korea is good.
- 23:53Speaker 4: I watched that first game because I think they were
- 23:55Speaker 4: the first game of the World Cup, I believe, or
- 23:57Speaker 4: maybe yeah, first or second game of the World They
- 23:59Speaker 4: were really good.
- 24:00Speaker 5: So they face the same team.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Oh no, they played South Africa, right, I don't know whatever,
- 24:07Speaker 2: I can't remember.
- 24:08Speaker 4: You're we're we're all locked in. I think we all
- 24:10Speaker 4: we all we all know what's what here. We're talking
- 24:12Speaker 4: about World Cup soccer without Jacob because.
- 24:14Speaker 2: He's we're all soccer people here coaching nine you right now. Yeah,
- 24:17Speaker 2: they played South Africa first to zero. They got that win,
- 24:21Speaker 2: all right, So they play South Korea now.
- 24:26Speaker 4: Then, But we're all getting ready, we're all tuning up,
- 24:29Speaker 4: gearing up for tomorrow. USA and those dirty Australians.
- 24:37Speaker 5: Hate those coming from down Under, coming from.
- 24:39Speaker 4: Down and they can't come over here. No toilets flush
- 24:42Speaker 4: the opposite direction around here? Is that true? Yeah? I
- 24:47Speaker 4: saw it on an episode of the Simpsons when I
- 24:49Speaker 4: was a kid.
- 24:49Speaker 5: Okay, I think it is true.
- 24:51Speaker 4: Toilet fleshes the other way. But why, I don't know.
- 24:55Speaker 4: That does make me sense, like the manufacturer of the
- 24:58Speaker 4: toilet doesn't have anything to do with like magnetic pools
- 25:01Speaker 4: or gravity.
- 25:03Speaker 2: I was gonna ask you a question because I don't
- 25:04Speaker 2: think you were here when we explore this, but I'm
- 25:06Speaker 2: gonna actually ask you in the break because it's kind
- 25:08Speaker 2: of like, Okay, it's space though early Earth and like,
- 25:12Speaker 2: but I got roasted for this, you did.
- 25:16Speaker 4: Space is scary, Yeah, not as scary as the ocean.
- 25:20Speaker 5: Now, I think the ocean is space.
- 25:23Speaker 4: I saw something that you know, there's a lake in
- 25:26Speaker 4: America that there's a bunch there's there's a bunch of lakes,
- 25:30Speaker 4: but it's like I want to say, like two thousand
- 25:36Speaker 4: feet deep something like that.
- 25:37Speaker 7: Dang.
- 25:37Speaker 4: Well, Crater Lake used to be a volcano and when
- 25:40Speaker 4: it exploded years ago, a long time ago, like like
- 25:47Speaker 4: the underneath where all the lava was, it just filled
- 25:51Speaker 4: them with water. Okay, yeah, it's an organ it's called
- 25:54Speaker 4: Crater Lake's incredible. You can't swim there and boat there,
- 25:57Speaker 4: and people took a submarine there. They had make a
- 26:00Speaker 4: submarine down there.
- 26:00Speaker 5: You can't because it's so deep, or you just can't because.
- 26:03Speaker 4: It's so well I think because it's a crater. So
- 26:06Speaker 4: there's no safe way to get there.
- 26:07Speaker 5: Okay, to go down Okay, guess that makes sense.
- 26:10Speaker 4: Yeah. One, you can't even swim there now because there's
- 26:12Speaker 4: a trail that goes down to it, and the trails
- 26:15Speaker 4: being redone, so there's no safe way to do it,
- 26:17Speaker 4: so you can't even go. It looks pretty sure, it
- 26:19Speaker 4: looks so it's like crystal clear, but there's a point
- 26:23Speaker 4: that light. It's so deep that there's a point of
- 26:25Speaker 4: the lake that light doesn't reach it, kind of like
- 26:27Speaker 4: the ocean where those creepy fish are. There's like ghosts
- 26:30Speaker 4: looking fish, those translucent fish are.
- 26:33Speaker 5: That's cool.
- 26:35Speaker 4: We're gonna find does it? See?
- 26:36Speaker 5: Earth is so fascinating?
- 26:38Speaker 4: How deep is it? Did you? Is twenty one a
- 26:42Speaker 4: freshwater lake here in America?
- 26:44Speaker 2: It partly fills a twenty one and forty eight foot
- 26:47Speaker 2: deep caldera.
- 26:49Speaker 4: Unbelievable.
- 26:49Speaker 2: It was formed around seventy seven hundred years ago by
- 26:53Speaker 2: the collapse of volcano Mount Mazama.
- 26:57Speaker 5: That's so cool, that crazy, yeah right here?
- 27:00Speaker 4: Who would have thought in America? I want to go
- 27:04Speaker 4: swimming now, I don't want to go swimming in that.
- 27:06Speaker 4: I'll take it back. Who knows what's swimming in there?
- 27:09Speaker 4: Maybe Nassy's there. Gotta be somewhere, Gotta be somewhere, all right,
- 27:13Speaker 4: stick list, we got we got our monchy segment coming.
- 27:15Speaker 4: We got chef Michael Johnson joining the show. So get
- 27:20Speaker 4: your munchies question in the chat you saw. If you're
- 27:22Speaker 4: not in YouTube, you can also text us two to
- 27:24Speaker 4: five four nine nine one O four five you got
- 27:26Speaker 4: any questions at all? Four the performance chef over there
- 27:30Speaker 4: for all of your lsu Athletic chef Michael Johnson joining
- 27:33Speaker 4: us for our Munchie segment right here, off the Bench.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Off the Bench, two thousand and seven, Shams purple and
- 27:46Speaker 1: Gold to the core. This is Off the Bench with
- 27:49Speaker 1: Hess and Flynn, Matt and Rougees go to for all
- 27:52Speaker 1: things Louisiana sports.
- 28:02Speaker 4: All right, welcome back here to off the Bench. We
- 28:04Speaker 4: got it is time for one of our favorite segments
- 28:08Speaker 4: of the entire week, which we have been deprived of
- 28:11Speaker 4: for a couple of weeks. We got our Munchie segment
- 28:14Speaker 4: with chef Michael Johnson on the line right now with us, Chef,
- 28:18Speaker 4: what's going on? What's up?
- 28:19Speaker 7: Matt? How are you? Man?
- 28:20Speaker 4: Man? I'm doing fantastic, probably not as good as you
- 28:22Speaker 4: right now. You got a fresh off a trip, you
- 28:26Speaker 4: got a belly full of yer row and schwarma. And
- 28:29Speaker 4: yeah to Zekei, what's going on? Just just back, just
- 28:32Speaker 4: back from Greece.
- 28:33Speaker 7: Yeah, well I also went to Israel. And as wonderful
- 28:36Speaker 7: as Greece was, Israel was wild. So just to keep
- 28:40Speaker 7: it short and sweet, we had an Iranian rockets shot
- 28:43Speaker 7: down over the top of our hospital while we were there,
- 28:46Speaker 7: and we we got the real life version of what
- 28:50Speaker 7: Israel is right now, and you know, people ask why
- 28:52Speaker 7: were you there while I was there for my spirituality?
- 28:55Speaker 7: But I ended up yeah, we had we had the
- 28:59Speaker 7: full man, your experience of what Israel was so oh
- 29:03Speaker 7: yeah yeah, So going back to Greece was you know,
- 29:07Speaker 7: like going through all that and then we went back
- 29:09Speaker 7: to Greece and just relaxed, innate food and drink.
- 29:12Speaker 4: Did you was it Israel first or what? Did you saying?
- 29:15Speaker 4: What it is?
- 29:16Speaker 7: So you can't fly to Israel from here? So we
- 29:18Speaker 7: flew to Greece and spend two days there and then
- 29:19Speaker 7: to Israel and then back to Greece and then took
- 29:22Speaker 7: a train to Fessaloniki in northern Greece, and we had
- 29:25Speaker 7: a really wonderful experience. Man, it was.
- 29:28Speaker 4: It was awesome, fantastic. So, I mean, I know you've
- 29:31Speaker 4: been asked that. You just said that. People ask like
- 29:33Speaker 4: why did you go? I know, it's sort of spirituality
- 29:35Speaker 4: and there's always going to be something happened in that era,
- 29:37Speaker 4: so some of you want to go. You just go,
- 29:39Speaker 4: But like, was it ever? I'm sure this truck's been
- 29:41Speaker 4: planning for a while. Was there ever kind of a
- 29:43Speaker 4: moment You're like, maybe, no.
- 29:45Speaker 7: Perhaps the whole time it was should we go or
- 29:48Speaker 7: should we not go? We booked a light thing. If
- 29:50Speaker 7: we get there and we don't feel good about it,
- 29:53Speaker 7: we don't have to go. But at some at some points,
- 29:56Speaker 7: we were both like, you know, if we're going there
- 29:59Speaker 7: for a spiritual, spiritual reasons, then God is going to
- 30:01Speaker 7: take care of the squad we're there. We have to
- 30:03Speaker 7: have faith in that. But that's what we did, and
- 30:05Speaker 7: you know, we made it through alive. And honestly, after
- 30:08Speaker 7: the rockets, you know, like momentarily after the rockets went off,
- 30:12Speaker 7: I had just contemplation of going down into the belly
- 30:15Speaker 7: of this this place and the possibility of you know,
- 30:18Speaker 7: being buried in rough rubble, or do I go to
- 30:21Speaker 7: the roof? And so I went to the roof? My God?
- 30:25Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, Well, look we are glad you are
- 30:28Speaker 4: back feet on the ground here in the US of A.
- 30:31Speaker 4: But like, tell us a little about like, uh, being
- 30:33Speaker 4: in Greece. I'm sure that was incredible. Did you have
- 30:37Speaker 4: any just fantastic like things like culinary experiences that you're
- 30:41Speaker 4: just going to remember forever?
- 30:43Speaker 7: Yeah, there was a few. Uh. Mostly though we continued
- 30:48Speaker 7: to go to this one place because we walked everywhere.
- 30:51Speaker 7: It appens, right, both places actually, and we liked it
- 30:57Speaker 7: so much that we went back and talked to the
- 30:58Speaker 7: owner and then talked to the chef, and we went
- 31:00Speaker 7: back on Sunday and cooked food in the kitchen with
- 31:03Speaker 7: the chef, and we got video of it and everything else,
- 31:05Speaker 7: and we just mess some really wonderful people. We danced
- 31:09Speaker 7: around the danced around the restaurant with them. So they
- 31:14Speaker 7: owned two restaurants. And we went to another restaurant on
- 31:16Speaker 7: like the Monday before we left and did this traditional
- 31:20Speaker 7: Greek dance rest around the restaurant and and oopa and
- 31:23Speaker 7: through plates and broke for it. It was. It was extraordinary,
- 31:29Speaker 7: just really good people.
- 31:30Speaker 4: I love it. Well, we glad you had a great time.
- 31:34Speaker 4: We are certainly happy that you were back though, joining
- 31:36Speaker 4: us for our munchie segments. So yeah, to get a
- 31:39Speaker 4: little munchies questions, We got pastag munchies. We are cooking
- 31:43Speaker 4: chicken pacatta and any advice from chef.
- 31:45Speaker 7: So I can nail it chicken pacata yep. Yeah. So
- 31:50Speaker 7: some people will build their sauce separate, but I like
- 31:54Speaker 7: to flower my chicken really well, not not like batter it,
- 31:59Speaker 7: but flower it really well all round it with the
- 32:01Speaker 7: flour in it and build the sauce around the chicken,
- 32:04Speaker 7: and you let the sauce thicken from the flour on
- 32:07Speaker 7: the chicken. That's how much flour you should have on
- 32:09Speaker 7: your chicken. Right. A lot of people do it differently,
- 32:11Speaker 7: and you can. You can also pull the chicken out
- 32:13Speaker 7: after you've browned it and toss a little flour in
- 32:16Speaker 7: and build it that way. But the traditional preparation of it,
- 32:20Speaker 7: you know, like you put you brown your chicken and
- 32:21Speaker 7: then you put your sauce in, take your liquid in
- 32:24Speaker 7: and let let the piccotta sauce build around the chicken.
- 32:28Speaker 7: Don't forget the capers like that in that in that
- 32:32Speaker 7: in that period while you're browning your chicken, you put
- 32:34Speaker 7: your capers in. You let them pop open. You don't
- 32:37Speaker 7: when you're cooking with capers, you want them to open.
- 32:40Speaker 7: That's where the that's where the liquid is inside and
- 32:42Speaker 7: it that's where the beautiful part of it is. So
- 32:45Speaker 7: you know, you you put your chicken in the seer
- 32:49Speaker 7: about three quarters of the way through that, you put
- 32:51Speaker 7: your capers in, and then you you know, build your
- 32:55Speaker 7: liquid on top of that.
- 32:57Speaker 4: I know, like too much of anything is not a
- 32:59Speaker 4: good thing, but I don't think you could put too
- 33:01Speaker 4: many capers in this thing.
- 33:03Speaker 7: Oh man, I'm with you, brother, I like you know,
- 33:05Speaker 7: you know, I love pickle things, and capers are not
- 33:07Speaker 7: the exception of that. I can eat capers, you know,
- 33:12Speaker 7: like yeah, like snacks.
- 33:14Speaker 4: Yeah, I love it all right, hasaga manchies. Do you
- 33:16Speaker 4: wash your rice? And what is your preferred type? I'm
- 33:19Speaker 4: sure it depends on that. But what is your most
- 33:21Speaker 4: like most commonly used type of rice? And do you
- 33:24Speaker 4: wash it?
- 33:25Speaker 7: We do wash our rice except for the brown rice
- 33:28Speaker 7: probably you know, it just depending on where your rice
- 33:33Speaker 7: comes from. It it has been milled and grained and
- 33:37Speaker 7: gone through this process. But it also you know, as
- 33:39Speaker 7: a potential for dirt on it and stuff, and so
- 33:41Speaker 7: I do wash my rice. It also kind of pulls
- 33:44Speaker 7: some of the starch out of it, just the loose
- 33:46Speaker 7: starts that was remained behind. But I use all different
- 33:51Speaker 7: kinds of rice, so you know, like I use jasmine rice,
- 33:54Speaker 7: I use brown rice to use high protein rice that's
- 33:58Speaker 7: you know, made here in the Everything that we buy
- 34:00Speaker 7: is from Louisiana. It's a it's a Louisiana jasmine grown
- 34:03Speaker 7: in Louisiana. So I don't know you know, it's probably
- 34:08Speaker 7: the only rice that we don't buy that we buy
- 34:11Speaker 7: that is not from louisianas for like Japanese rice for
- 34:15Speaker 7: you know, for like sushi, and I don't necessarily rinse
- 34:19Speaker 7: that because you want the gluten to stick together while
- 34:21Speaker 7: it's you know, for to make the sushi rice. So
- 34:24Speaker 7: there's the exception.
- 34:25Speaker 4: How do you make what is the proper is it
- 34:27Speaker 4: Isn't it? Like vinegar and a little bit of sugar
- 34:29Speaker 4: in there for sushi rice?
- 34:31Speaker 7: Yeah, you can use a little touch of mirrion because
- 34:33Speaker 7: it has sugar in it, right, But yeah, it's a
- 34:36Speaker 7: it's a rice rice vinegar or rice wine, yeah, rice vinegar.
- 34:39Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, hashtag munchies. What do you put in
- 34:43Speaker 4: just your basic like chicken stock that you like to
- 34:45Speaker 4: make and how long do you cook it?
- 34:48Speaker 7: Well, you know, it depends on how you like your
- 34:50Speaker 7: chicken stock light or dark. I prefer mine dark. So
- 34:53Speaker 7: I roast my bones first, and I'll put a little
- 34:56Speaker 7: bit of tomato paste on the bones to roast them
- 35:00Speaker 7: because it caramelizes during the roast. You take a take
- 35:03Speaker 7: a pastry brush and and brush tomato paste on it
- 35:08Speaker 7: on the bones. You roast those in the oven. You
- 35:10Speaker 7: you put your mire plaw into your into your stock
- 35:14Speaker 7: pot and rip from there. I mean, it's making a
- 35:18Speaker 7: chicken stocks pretty straightforward. I do put a sachet of
- 35:21Speaker 7: like black black pole, black peppercorns, bay leaves. You know
- 35:27Speaker 7: a lot of people overuse time and time. The expression
- 35:30Speaker 7: is a little times, just a long way. If you
- 35:32Speaker 7: can use two or three sprigs of time and a
- 35:34Speaker 7: gallon of chicken sauce and it's gonna be it's gonna
- 35:37Speaker 7: be just fine. I like marjorum over a regano. And
- 35:42Speaker 7: but fresh margin room is kind of hard to find.
- 35:45Speaker 7: It depends on what you're doing with your chicken stock.
- 35:47Speaker 7: You don't have to put that in there. I just
- 35:50Speaker 7: it just depends on what you're doing with it. But
- 35:51Speaker 7: I like a sachet and I tie it up so
- 35:54Speaker 7: that it can be pulled out and it doesn't have
- 35:56Speaker 7: to be strained as well. Yeah, it definitely carrets.
- 35:59Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, it kind of play. I'll just kind of
- 36:03Speaker 4: depends on what you're doing with it. But yeah, well look,
- 36:05Speaker 4: you just got back from from Greece, so let's talk
- 36:08Speaker 4: a little hummus right now. Have you ever heard do
- 36:10Speaker 4: you make your own? Did you learn any like really
- 36:12Speaker 4: good tips over there on you know what kind of
- 36:15Speaker 4: accoutr minds you could put in. I know, we like
- 36:18Speaker 4: to Americanize things. Here is what you see what you
- 36:21Speaker 4: get over there. How does their hummus kind of differ
- 36:24Speaker 4: from what we what we know over here?
- 36:26Speaker 7: Well, I think Americans trying to make everything fast and quick,
- 36:29Speaker 7: and the hummus at this restaurant that we went to
- 36:32Speaker 7: was a three day hummus, like they had they soaked
- 36:36Speaker 7: their their garbons of beans overnight, you know, they cook
- 36:41Speaker 7: them on day two and purade the heck out of
- 36:44Speaker 7: it while they're still hot, pull the skins out of it,
- 36:47Speaker 7: you know, like if you soak them and and and
- 36:49Speaker 7: boil them, you pull the skins out as much as
- 36:51Speaker 7: you can, strain them off, and then purade the heck
- 36:53Speaker 7: out of it. They don't actually make their full hummus,
- 36:57Speaker 7: the full on hummus, until day three, so they will
- 37:01Speaker 7: cook it, puree it, put some of the seasonings and
- 37:04Speaker 7: ingredients in it into it, just a little bit of
- 37:06Speaker 7: the olive oil, but not the lemon juice yet. They
- 37:09Speaker 7: will put the tahini in it that day, but not
- 37:11Speaker 7: the lemon juice or all of the olive oil, and
- 37:14Speaker 7: they let that soak in one because lemon juice is volatile,
- 37:18Speaker 7: which which it will evaporate. And so if if you're
- 37:21Speaker 7: putting lemon juice into hot hummus, it's going to evaporate
- 37:25Speaker 7: and you're gonna lose the impact of it. So you
- 37:27Speaker 7: get it nice and smooth on day two. Let it
- 37:30Speaker 7: sit over nice it's nice and cold, and then you
- 37:33Speaker 7: put your lemon juice in the remainder of your olive
- 37:35Speaker 7: oil into it the next day when you're ready to
- 37:37Speaker 7: serve it. And I'm going to tell you right now,
- 37:39Speaker 7: I think I saw crabmeat and hummus. I saw like
- 37:43Speaker 7: a braid, pork cheese and hummus. I mean, I don't,
- 37:47Speaker 7: I don't. I was amazed by how many things they
- 37:50Speaker 7: were willing to put into hummus, you know.
- 37:52Speaker 4: And yeah, if you if you would have like asked me,
- 37:55Speaker 4: would I take a guess, I would have said that
- 37:57Speaker 4: they would have kept it really simple, like don't don't
- 38:00Speaker 4: ruin the integrity of the homicide. Yeah, but my god,
- 38:03Speaker 4: brais pork cheeks and humma sounds incredible?
- 38:06Speaker 7: Oh man, it was. It was the smoothest, you know,
- 38:09Speaker 7: like a baby's but it was so smooth and it
- 38:13Speaker 7: was delicious, you know.
- 38:15Speaker 4: Uh. We had a follow up question and I think
- 38:16Speaker 4: this was you talked about this ingredient and your chicken
- 38:19Speaker 4: stock answer. What is marjoram?
- 38:22Speaker 7: The marj roam is a a leafy herb and it
- 38:25Speaker 7: is it is akin to a regano, but it is
- 38:30Speaker 7: mildly different. And you know, like if I'm making an
- 38:33Speaker 7: Italian red sauce, I use marjoram over oregano. It tastes similar,
- 38:38Speaker 7: but it's mildly different. And it's just a preference that
- 38:41Speaker 7: I have.
- 38:42Speaker 4: Chef, I gotta asked, man, what are you cooking for
- 38:45Speaker 4: these recruits? Because my god, every time a recruit comes
- 38:48Speaker 4: in for Lasi football, they just commit like three days later.
- 38:50Speaker 4: So what are you making for.
- 38:52Speaker 7: These guys anything they want? Buddy?
- 38:54Speaker 5: My god, you.
- 38:56Speaker 4: Must be doing It's a comfort food over there, definitely
- 38:59Speaker 4: not definitely nothing healthy.
- 39:01Speaker 7: Yeah. Well, it's a busy time for recruiting. It's been
- 39:04Speaker 7: busy and you know, like I was, I landed yesterday
- 39:08Speaker 7: and I have you know, I'm it's mouth to the
- 39:12Speaker 7: hose pipe, so to speak. You know, like we have
- 39:14Speaker 7: tons and tons and tons of recruits, not just with football,
- 39:17Speaker 7: with a lot of different sports right now. So that's
- 39:20Speaker 7: what I live for though, That's that's where you build
- 39:22Speaker 7: the relationships first, Matt. You know, like you know, I
- 39:25Speaker 7: had that conversation in Orleans about how important the relationships are.
- 39:28Speaker 7: You know, if you don't if you can't trust your
- 39:30Speaker 7: chef you know, or your coach for that matter, you
- 39:34Speaker 7: know what I mean, what what what? How fruitful are
- 39:36Speaker 7: you really going to be? And I think that that's important.
- 39:38Speaker 7: And the parents being there is absolutely important too. As
- 39:43Speaker 7: a parent, I'm empathetic to what they're going through because
- 39:47Speaker 7: you know, I have children their age and I've I've
- 39:49Speaker 7: gone through the same thing. Like it's my daughter eating Okay,
- 39:52Speaker 7: she you know, she went to LSU so she would
- 39:54Speaker 7: come visit me once a week, so I knew she
- 39:55Speaker 7: was eaten. But yeah, yeah.
- 39:58Speaker 4: I got a lot of credit for those recruits. Of course,
- 40:00Speaker 4: rightfully goes to Lane Kiffin and his staff, but like, man,
- 40:03Speaker 4: there's so much more that goes into it when trying
- 40:06Speaker 4: to connect with human beings, and the support staff goes along.
- 40:09Speaker 4: And I know you are You're awesome at connecting because
- 40:11Speaker 4: you love that connection with people. And yeah, certainly cooking
- 40:14Speaker 4: for people is a connection in and of itself. So yeah,
- 40:18Speaker 4: that is a I can only imagine that y'all staff
- 40:22Speaker 4: and the incredible, the incredible performance food area that y'all
- 40:26Speaker 4: have over there is a huge draw for a lot
- 40:29Speaker 4: of these fruits.
- 40:31Speaker 7: There's been a handful of times where I've had coaches
- 40:33Speaker 7: paul me and say, you know, you just nailed it.
- 40:37Speaker 7: You just you just helped us, you know, secure secure
- 40:40Speaker 7: that one. And you know, some there there's there's some
- 40:44Speaker 7: that are are not interested in it. They're they're more
- 40:46Speaker 7: interested in other things, education and whatnot. And but there
- 40:50Speaker 7: are definitely those who come in and are bought into
- 40:52Speaker 7: the food program and understand that it has an impact
- 40:54Speaker 7: in their performance. And those are the easy ones, you know,
- 40:58Speaker 7: like the it's the ones that are you have to
- 41:01Speaker 7: you have to convince or even carry this trust, you know,
- 41:06Speaker 7: like we've had We've had kids that came in that
- 41:08Speaker 7: had food jags, that had had a lot of distrust
- 41:11Speaker 7: and had one guy that he would only eat ramen
- 41:13Speaker 7: noodles man And that was no matter how hard we
- 41:16Speaker 7: tried it, it was it was nothing we could do.
- 41:20Speaker 7: And it was sad, you know, like my heart felt sad.
- 41:23Speaker 7: For him because of you know, like he had been
- 41:26Speaker 7: through something, you know, and and it was it was
- 41:28Speaker 7: tough to watch.
- 41:29Speaker 4: Oh man, Well that's this way to someone's heart is
- 41:32Speaker 4: through their stomach, and or are no different. Man. We
- 41:36Speaker 4: we appreciate hopefully you are in the US for a
- 41:39Speaker 4: while now. We appreciate you're glad that you're back. Glad
- 41:43Speaker 4: to hear you. An awesome trip to will We thank
- 41:44Speaker 4: you so much for your time. We'll talk to you
- 41:45Speaker 4: next week.
- 41:46Speaker 7: Take care of man.
- 41:48Speaker 4: All right, there he was how much you said my chef,
- 41:50Speaker 4: Michael Johnson, I love that guy. Uh, incredible stuff and
- 41:53Speaker 4: my god, rockets fine over his head. That is a
- 41:57Speaker 4: type of scary nightmare that we and only like imagine.
- 42:01Speaker 4: And he just loved it. So awesome to having back.
- 42:05Speaker 4: Awesome to hear the stories. So we appreciate this time.
- 42:07Speaker 4: All right, we're gonna close out the show. We come
- 42:09Speaker 4: back right here and off the bench.
- 42:12Speaker 1: Off the bench.
- 42:13Speaker 4: Central Plumbing, Central Plumbing, your plumbing experts here in course
- 42:17Speaker 4: of bat and Rouge area, but also in the Lafayette
- 42:21Speaker 4: area as well. Central Plumbing has been doing it a
- 42:24Speaker 4: long time, the pain family. They are a third generation company.
- 42:28Speaker 4: So what does that really mean, well, that means that
- 42:30Speaker 4: there is no plumbing situation too big or too small,
- 42:34Speaker 4: or too crazy or gross or whatever you want to
- 42:38Speaker 4: call it. There's nothing that they hadn't seen before. And
- 42:40Speaker 4: then there's nothing that they are not experts in. So
- 42:43Speaker 4: whether it's gas lines, water lines, we're talking commercial, we're
- 42:47Speaker 4: talking residential, it doesn't really matter. I've I'll tell you
- 42:50Speaker 4: about the work that they've done for us over at
- 42:52Speaker 4: our at our factory. They took just a blank warehouse
- 42:56Speaker 4: with four walls in a roof and turned into a
- 42:58Speaker 4: full blown factory, gas lines, lines, you name it. They
- 43:01Speaker 4: can do it residentially as well. Emergency service twenty four
- 43:04Speaker 4: to seven, Emergency service three undred and sixty five days.
- 43:06Speaker 4: So it doesn't matter the peace of mind that you have,
- 43:08Speaker 4: no matter if there's something, whenever it happens, whatever happens,
- 43:11Speaker 4: they can help you out. Right there, go to Central
- 43:13Speaker 4: Plumbing dot.
- 43:14Speaker 1: Orgs locked in on LSU Football twenty four to seven.

- 43:26Speaker 4: Right, welcome back. We are closing out the show man.
- 43:29Speaker 4: Three hours has gone by fast? Has not gone by
- 43:33Speaker 4: fast if you're in New York City, though, we talked
- 43:35Speaker 4: about that it looks like my nightmare. So many people

- 43:42Speaker 4: some LSU ties. We're gonna throw it to Luke right now,
- 43:45Speaker 4: give us a real quick update, real quick update. Shreeport
- 43:48Speaker 4: native Sam Burns.

- 44:00Speaker 4: Burns leading the way early on the way, too early,
- 44:03Speaker 4: leader board. They are minus two right now. Got a

- 44:08Speaker 4: par three too, So we're gonna keep a watch. I
- 44:10Speaker 4: will have it on all day long in the background
- 44:13Speaker 4: of the office, the house, wherever it is. Can't wait.

- 44:19Speaker 4: all right. Hashtag asks the bitch. If you if you
- 44:24Speaker 4: could be a lord or lady of any country, which
- 44:27Speaker 4: would you choose? A lord or a lady of any country?
- 44:31Speaker 5: Something cool like Italy?
- 44:32Speaker 4: I mean, I'm assuming we can't choose America.
- 44:35Speaker 5: Right because we don't have lords and ladies. They don't
- 44:38Speaker 5: have lords and ladies there. You could make it up
- 44:42Speaker 5: then America in America.
- 44:43Speaker 4: I'm going. I'm gonna go Ireland, good golf, good beer.
- 44:49Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I'm.
- 44:54Speaker 4: Iland absolutely sick, six of them.
- 44:58Speaker 5: I'm mording. Do he's where I go?
- 45:04Speaker 4: I asked the bench. If the tripod is in a
- 45:06Speaker 4: sinking vessel and losing weight would solve the issue, how
- 45:10Speaker 4: quickly would we throw Luke off? We wouldn't.
- 45:14Speaker 5: We would just all sing together.
- 45:16Speaker 2: I'm gonna be honest, pretty quick because he's like the
- 45:19Speaker 2: newest one and he's not really part of the wolf.
- 45:22Speaker 5: He doesn't even how so I'm throwing him off immediately.
- 45:26Speaker 4: Unbelievable. All right, we go Sam Burns, and more importantly,
- 45:31Speaker 4: go Usa.
