Rose Marie Bishop, Wilmington’s beloved caregiver and family matriarch, passed away at 77 after a life devoted to love, comfort, and joy. A CNA by trade and a private sitter for those facing end-of-life moments, she also worked at Hamrick’s and Food Lion before finding her true calling in nurturing her family. Her days were filled with laughter, gardening, and feeding birds from her porch—her greatest delight was time with granddaughters Krishna and Aubrey, who cherished their grandmother’s hugs, photo albums, and shopping trips.
