- 0:51[SPEAKER_02]: But with me this afternoon as River Wells are lead editor at buckskinda.com.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_02]: Our veteran writer Caleb Skinner's down there and the bottom right and up here are new writer at buckskinda James Hill.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of you already know him here on YouTube.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_02]: You've probably a lot of you have already probably subscribed to him.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_02]: but Mr. Bux Nation, James, welcome to Bux, game to welcome to hear the cannons we're happy to have you, man.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_00]: I'm happy to be here, guys.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_00]: We obviously have a lot to talk about, regarding free agency literally being three days away.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_00]: So it's gonna be a blast, happy to be here.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_00]: I'm happy to bring over a few of people from my community over to the Bux Game Day crew.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_00]: And I think it's gonna be a blast, man.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_00]: So very, very happy to be here.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_02]: Caleb, how are we feeling?
- 1:40[SPEAKER_02]: What do we got you guys going to let us know you're talking to let it loose baby.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_05]: Cool, hopefully just have our last snow, so I'm going to give you guys my weekly snow update here in Boston, but hopefully we're going to be done with that soon, everything starting to melt.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_05]: getting to the springtime and I can start wearing shorts again.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_05]: But oh, and that man, I'm excited.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_05]: A lot of stuff to to bring down.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_05]: Buck and ears going to be pretty active.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_05]: It seems like or at least being rumored to be pretty active.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_05]: This offseason, you know, legal tampering, tampering period here and less than a week.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_05]: So things are starting to heat up.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_05]: I'm starting to get Sheffty notice out the lung hole here on X, formerly known as Twitter, so just keep it up with it, trying to keep up with it, attempting to diagnose what's all, what's all happening, especially with the new news about Trey Hendricks and so excited to talk about that with you guys.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_03]: for free and cheese here.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_03]: Excited.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_03]: I turned 27 today, so that's very good.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_02]: You have a birthday number.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_02]: You lasted us with that right there.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_03]: I did, yes, the more forth.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, that was the indication.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_03]: I did, actually, if you recall, I said, I had a birthday dinner.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_03]: That's got to keep up on that.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_00]: If you buy was your birthday, it could be anybody's birthday.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_03]: It turns out it's mine.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_03]: He doesn't want all the life on him.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_03]: Now, it will be interesting, especially given Jason Lights tendencies since the Tom Brady era and didn't have a bay given that how active the bucks will be in for you and seeing whether or not they try and make any trades or doing anything.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_03]: That's going to be the big story I think this year, particularly with kind of how I think everyone's in the hot state intended very early.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_03]: So we'll see how that goes.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_02]: guys, if you're still here and you're just now joining to make sure if you're in the comments still coming in, throw in a topic, or if you have any questions, anything, we're guarding, you know, going back to NFL Combine or some of the Mike Evans stuff, we're going to talk some tricks and as well, free agency is going to be a big topic for us the next few weeks as we've spoke on.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_02]: So, though, in the comments over there on the side and we will for sure, bring it up here on the screen.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_02]: But I say we go ahead and get started.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_02]: I thought we'd be getting with Mike Evans because that is the team.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_02]: That is the box, that's the box community, everybody's wondering what is happening with Mike Evans.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_02]: So there was a handful of things that happened last week.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_02]: We'll start off with his agent, Derek Gilmore, he told NFL Network, and I believe also to Peter Report here and Tampa that he was going to his client was going to be evaluating all 32 teams, and this was
- 4:24[SPEAKER_02]: this would be a pretty big business decision for him, not an emotional one like it's been prior.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_02]: So we kind of knew this was sort of coming here, going into this, like free agency, once we heard that you know that he was going to be testing free agency, then we knew, okay, yeah, this is probably on the business side of things for sure.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_02]: But then as the week went on, there was a lot of like cleaning up what was originally said because like I said there was 32 teams, you know, we're going to look at all 32 then it started to trim down to where Mike Evans had some specific things this is coming from ESPN start dollar.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_02]: saying that he's got four things that he's looking for for his next team, whoever that might be, he said he wants an elite quarterback.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_02]: He wants a quarterback that he can trust and mature one, a well-experienced one there, and also two he wants to go play for a Super Bowl contender.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_02]: That makes sense.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that makes sense.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_02]: No shocker there, and then also to you once a top shelf coordinator, and then you also want to have high volume in touches.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_02]: Let's just stop right there, gentlemen, and I'll open up the fork to you guys.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_02]: What do you make of it from immediately, you know, from the beginning, 32 teams, and going to value it all those, and then, well, well, well, no, no, no, here's the specifics of actually what we want, so that obviously is going to trim down the hefty load of those 32.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_02]: I'll let River, you go first.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't know if all 32 teams were really on the table.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think you're going to be, you know, we hadn't been Nashville over the times, sure, anything like that.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, team like Buffalo, you definitely want to think about teams where he would be a number one wide receiver, teams are his skill set, you know, big x-flot receiver, you can get contested 50-50 balls, a better route runner than I think people give him credit for as well.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_03]: So definitely would be a big impact player.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_03]: He showed that he can still produce, I mean last year he came back from his call-up on injury, and he really put up over 100 receiving yards against the Atlanta Falcons.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_03]: So definitely still a player, getting up there in age and teams will think about that,
- 6:28[SPEAKER_03]: And how long he wants to play, you know, if he's considering retirement the end of this year, what kind of contract would he sign, how that effect kind of the overall contract going forward?
- 6:39[SPEAKER_03]: I've made my thoughts on kind of the books and my Kevin's clear, but I'll reiterate it before I cast the book.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_03]: I think if the books want to really contend and fix every hold they have, it got...
- 6:50[SPEAKER_03]: Inside linebacker needs a lot of work.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_03]: They need a premiere edge rupture.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_03]: They could probably use a cornerback.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_03]: Jamality is going to go in for agency.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_03]: They need depth in the defensive line.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_03]: They need a probably a tight end.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe they could use a supplementary running back for fucking earring.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_03]: There's so many holes on this team with fix.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_03]: He want to fix all of them in attempt to compete and contend.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_03]: And then you do have to let Mike Evans go.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_03]: He would probably come and a pretty decent price.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_03]: But at the same time, my flip side thing
- 7:18[SPEAKER_03]: with with doubles here another year.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_03]: I don't foresee them fixing every hole they have on this roster.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_03]: Why not give them a one-year deal and let them play old-hand away and as a home-time guy or I guess the block's not right Texas, but Tampa Bay guy, Ben here was a little career, beloved by fans, why not give him that contract and just let him ride it out and then
- 7:42[SPEAKER_03]: It's light, it's gone, it falls, it goes up next year, then you owe him anything else at that point.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_03]: So we'll see what they do.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_03]: We'll see how good they think that they can be next year.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_03]: Whether they think that they're rebuilding or reloading or whether they think that they'll do a dress and behold and need.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_03]: But I think there's a lot of teams that would be interested in, I think, from Monterey standpoint, I think all of them will probably be able to out the database wishes.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_03]: So I think a lot of it isn't my guess.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, big, big, big, been a big proponent of, you know, the buck and years don't need my heavens, but, you know, these more of a want.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_05]: It's kind of still where it is.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, new reports coming out even today that he's kind of going to demand a contract, you know, around 20 million or so.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_05]: So how that fits, not sure, it's been pretty intense, especially after giving up 22 million A.V.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_05]: last year to Chris Godwin, but that's kind of what he's going to be looking at.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_05]: And there's some new teams that have been reported that have kind of entered the mix here outside of the bills, the patriots, chiefs, the chargers, the giants, and even the Washington Commanders are starting to hear their names rumored around potential fits for Mike Evans.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_05]: Um, and some of those don't necessarily hit all four of the criteria that they're going more put out there for Mike.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_05]: Um, but that's kind of the same with the box too, right?
- 9:05[SPEAKER_05]: Like, I think, oh, it's maybe when you look at the four pieces of that criteria that the buck and yours only really feel filled to right now.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_05]: Obviously, he believes in Baker Mayfield.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_05]: He's talked about how much he loves playing with him.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_05]: He does have a, you know, above average offensive coordinator now in Zach Robinson.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_05]: So that's an elevation last year off of Kurt.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_05]: Josh Grzard, excuse me.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_05]: So the real two that stand out as one that the buck and ears don't necessarily fit is a super bowl chance, you know, another limb bar.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_03]: I was probably a great one.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_05]: Yep.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_05]: That's kind of hard to imagine right now so that you're going to need assurance is Mike's going to need assurance is that the buck and ears are going to do what needs to be done to be able to push themselves over that line over that hump if you will and then the biggest problem in my opinion is the high volume targets this is kind of where you're in that.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_05]: want don't need territory.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_05]: In my opinion, because you do have so many mounts to feed.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_05]: You look on the outside, in particular at the White receiver group, Tess Johnson, even being mentioned in there with guys like Jaylin McMillan, Chris Godwin, a mech eggbuke.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_05]: That's already a lot of mouse to feed, right?
- 10:08[SPEAKER_05]: And then depending on if he had sterling shepherd who has kind of been that
- 10:11[SPEAKER_05]: You know, soft guy who can sit down and help Baker may fill it out when he gets into a pinch.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_03]: Break glass in case it doesn't hurt and say it's always breaking the glass right.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_05]: It's insane on the amount of talent, the amount of production of the book and yours do have that position.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_05]: So being able to feed all those guys and then you add in the fact that Bucky Irving is probably going to demand some touches, especially in the passing game and depending on who fills out that running back room they could also do that because you saw or saw white gets some of those.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_05]: those touches, especially in the passing game last of the past three or four years is so.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_05]: So it's going to be a lot of amounts of feed in that temporary offense, and that definitely does not scream high value targets for Mike Evans, no matter if he's as close with Baker, and Zach, you know, is trying to feed him the ball as much as possible at that kind of tough.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_05]: But,
- 10:58[SPEAKER_05]: It's interesting.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not sure what's going to happen.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not sure that you fit into 20 million dollars for the box.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_05]: So he could end up elsewhere, but as much as we would hate to see him leave and not being that red imputer, it's definitely a possibility at this point, because as River had mentioned, there could be other areas the buck and years could look and be like we need to get better here to be able to contend and that doesn't fit with Mike Evans being able to cost us 20 million dollars.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, I agree with what you guys were saying here.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: I think like the harsh business side of it, right?
- 11:30[SPEAKER_00]: Whenever we take a look at what makes the most sense, like, yes, it would make the most sense, you know, business decision-wise, like, hey, Mike,
- 11:40[SPEAKER_00]: you know, go join a Buffalo Bills or something.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to take that money and spend it on Ed pressure and inside linebacker and stuff like that, right?
- 11:48[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I do.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_00]: I still personally think he will be back with the buck in years.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_03]: I'm leaning that way as well.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm not as confident about it as I have been in like past years.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_00]: This whole saga, this whole situation that's been like developing over the past couple weeks feels so weird to me too.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know, with the whole like, um, you know, you see the reports coming out first of like, came like once more touches, more targets.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like, okay, yeah, I guess that makes sense.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_00]: But kind of weird, you know, that Mike's, you know, that it's
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: that outspoken about it.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_00]: And then I was kind of done at the bullet point list where it's like here's the four points that might not match the B.T.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_03]: style like what does every wire see if
- 12:38[SPEAKER_03]: So, yeah, just kind of the craziest thing, it is strange.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_03]: It is strange.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_02]: It is strange.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we lost James there for just for a minute.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that the list is really like you did, like, I'm not saying he did, but it's like the agent went in and said, hey, like, it's definitely an agent thing.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that again, it's like a wider receiver once that type of thing.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_02]: right and and one and one thing too and I'll wait till he gets back in here but uh let me add there we go that's quite now there goes James and the way there we go it's quite the very good wait till he gets back to his back connected there's no one to have him have that face
- 13:19[SPEAKER_02]: for five minutes until it gets in and back.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he's done a reaction.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_02]: He was not a fan of those bullet puts.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_02]: And I, you know, the one thing, I think it.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, well, why aren't we having also a bullet point of maybe that defense improving because he was pissed off leaving that Atlanta.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think I could take that bullet point list seriously without saying.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_03]: Everybody wants everybody wants all that.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_03]: Everybody wants an elite quarterback chance was a bullet.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_03]: I want targets.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_03]: right, but like there are teams that can offer him all of those things and and what it comes out of the agent game, people really underestimate just how big of a deal it is to take your family or take what you have in a city and go somewhere else.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_03]: Chris got one had a lot of money that came up with the Patriots that he left off to return the blocks.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_03]: I do sometimes wonder how
- 14:16[SPEAKER_03]: He didn't want to take his entire life in Tampa Bay and move it into New England, right?
- 14:21[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of players don't want to do that.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_03]: And so If Mike wants the money that he wants, he wants to surpass a good advantage at Adam's type deal There are teams that will offer him that and the buck shouldn't quite frankly, but If he's willing to work with the team and he wants to come back and he wants to be a buck for life like he said he did
- 14:41[SPEAKER_03]: Right, and I honestly wouldn't blame him if he didn't want to guys.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_03]: I really wouldn't.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_03]: I wouldn't blame him if he wanted to go somewhere else.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_03]: I think that's totally fine.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_03]: But if he wants to stay, they'll make that happen and he'll still get paid probably still too much, but it's going to be up to him with how much money he wants.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_03]: There are other teams that he should be going to.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_03]: I think quite straight up, quite mind, right?
- 15:09[SPEAKER_03]: And for some, but if you want to stay in Tampa, and you want to, you know, still be here.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_03]: And he's got a lot of funds for the team.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_03]: The organization, they're really good to him.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_03]: And you got to, yeah, those things matter.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_02]: I see I don't fully believe that he wants to have the high volume of touches.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_02]: Of course he wants to reach and get a thousand yards again He wants to get back on track with that a freak accident last year stopped that from happening, but yeah, but the hamstring thing is a little lingering that
- 15:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that always continues, but he still always does find a way to reach those thousand yards with a thing as if you go back to that Super Bowl run He had a lot of also big-time weapons on that team a lot of guys were getting touches It was Mike Evans yet Rob Grinkowski and all pro Hall of Fame tied in there yet Antonio Brown in there as well And you had a handful of other guys too
- 15:57[SPEAKER_02]: and then her four neck and the ball in this hand like that was there was a lot there so I don't bully I don't get the whole thing they've already got I mean the biggest thing is cerebral contender and I don't think he's going to go out and call out his coach because his head coach is the defensive coordinator for the box but if you're going to list some things of course what it should be a show you a mixture of hey I want to see them pursue and do a big job or go big and free agency to fix the past rush because that is always limited this defense
- 16:25[SPEAKER_02]: I want to see the defense of play improved, but he can't really say that and you know call out the head coach and whatever He can say that internally I'm sure I bet you he does Oh, we saw it we saw it on the tunnel
- 16:40[SPEAKER_02]: He was ticked off and he's playing at a high level.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_02]: He came back and was dialed in.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_02]: And I think the newest report is that he's in the best shape right now.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_02]: Going into this 2026 and we saw him in training camp.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_02]: I was one of the first things I pointed to you guys.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, Mike Evans looks different this off soon.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, I tried asking him going into camp.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_02]: And he said, now this is the same shit, nothing new.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_02]: for me, but you could tell he really dialed in.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_02]: I think it was to hopefully improve and be able to withstand that hamstring injury well that he always deals with, but he was also lining up on the field man.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_02]: He was the best wide receiver for consecutive.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_02]: days all throughout a mecca book would have his flashes because he was the rookie in the first round, you know, things were clicking there early for Baker, but it was Mike Evans on a consistent basis.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_02]: So he's still playing at a high caliber level, but it's really going to come down to, you know, it's going to get interesting here.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, stuff is starting to break as we speak, but, you know, the bucks are going to have to go and find a past Russia.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_02]: They got to do better job at the lineback position.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_02]: I think I do have a second here now.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_02]: Boom, we're
- 17:46[SPEAKER_02]: We don't want to leave you your your screen was stuck and it was at a wow with the mouth open.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_00]: It's it is happened before.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_00]: Won't be the first time won't be the last time.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, exactly, but I'll bring this up to you James to bring you back on here, but this is from.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_02]: One of our listeners here on YouTube, maybe one of yours too as well and saying, Mike would be a tough loss, but not an impossible hurdle to overcome.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_00]: Hope he stays, but yeah, you know, that kind of why everybody thought
- 18:23[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, oh no, are we here?
- 18:25[SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm here.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_00]: We're back.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, we're fine.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_00]: Everything's fine.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's a spectrum of the spectrum.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_03]: What are you doing down here?
- 18:31[SPEAKER_03]: Spectrum's nine.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_03]: I'm rocking with that frontier, baby.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_00]: Listen, it's why they drafted a mecca Boock and round one.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_00]: Part of the reason, you know, like resigning Chris Godwin, having jail and McMillan, having so much investment in that wide receiver room, that's kind of why, you know, if they do lose Mike Evans, it makes that loss a little bit more manageable, I would say.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_00]: Because
- 19:00[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you have all those guys that are there who can step up and stuff like that.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_00]: Like obviously, Mike Evans still be missed.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, absolutely, you know, not saying that at all, but, you know, it is not nearly as bad as it could be.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_00]: and in regards to losing him like they still have lentee of options in that wide receiver room.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_00]: And I agree where it's like, yeah, you hope he stays right like, you know, just as like if for somebody who's a fan of guys playing their whole careers in certain places like that's obviously a good story and stuff, but if he does leave, they still have a lot of good and capable receivers that they can lean on.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_03]: They probably had to find that X archetype in that big body frame that they can go, you know, it's go ball soon The question is, because that's probably the one thing that I don't really have.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_03]: But there is the fun thing that I agency.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_03]: And the rest of the talent kind of makes up for that, I think, for sure.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_03]: Guys look at Booga and Goblin.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_03]: And there's type of, you know, scene finding, slot, space finders, you know, that that that Millen as well.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_03]: And the Millen is back.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_03]: It was excellent.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_05]: I was going to be a deeper stretch to feel to the test to stretch to feel it.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, I want to jailing the million.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_02]: Damely million slumped on man.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he came back and he was very very good.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, I mean, and that's the thing.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_02]: That's where Jason Lyon, this staff have to look at him be like man.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we are absolutely loaded at the widest year position.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_02]: Mike Evans is certainly icing on the cake, and yes, he's a major threat and the red zone and what you want to do there offensively, but, you know, you do feel confident more in what Zach Robinson is going to bring you with experience there and a little bit of the ties there and his best friend is Liam Cohen, like Liam knew how to work with all of these weapons, and that was not easy for Josh Bazaar to do.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_02]: He was able to do it early on, but once defensive coordinator started to figure some things out, also to with injuries in and help.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_02]: But still at that, sometimes whenever, obviously once, a lot of those targets, a lot of those weapons came back later in the season from injury, resorts still do not know how to utilize them in the best way, shape or form.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_02]: Right, and we've heard from Mike Evans, give some really high praise to Drake London.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_02]: It was last season, and the off season, you need to talk with Greg Allman down here, a fox sports and gave an interview there.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_02]: Mike Evans named Drake London as one of his favorite wide receivers guess who was coaching Drake London That was Zach Robinson in Atlanta, so I think the bucks are in a really good spot here Absolutely for the things on the field and what they want to do maybe not defensively, but offensively absolutely 100% But money is money and are the bucks going to spend that much money.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_02]: That's going to be the major question mark as we measure all this
- 21:37[SPEAKER_02]: Well, let's keep going here, gentlemen.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_02]: We got to talk about some past rush because God Almighty He did.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_02]: The bucks do need it quite a bit now.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_02]: River, you put out an article.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_02]: I believe it was yesterday, but we've had a handful of things happening.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_02]: There's some potential guys.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_02]: I'd linebacker past rush.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_02]: Now, of course, to today, which Ray Hendricks in
- 22:01[SPEAKER_02]: It's not going to be franchise tag and who will be a restricted free agent.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_02]: He's been wanting to get out of Cincinnati for quite a while, but was a 2024 sack leader.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_02]: Really impressive past Russia and the league and there was a, what was this from?
- 22:19[SPEAKER_02]: This was from earlier I believe, well, this was on Thursday and we completely missed this.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_02]: So I was on pardon my take when they had Adam Shepher on last week.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_02]: that's right exactly so yeah I believe strad was able to get the tweet here and
- 22:36[SPEAKER_02]: This is what Adam Shepter had to say about Tray Hendrix and St.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_02]: I think that he would love to be in Tampa.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_02]: I think he would love to be in Tampa.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_02]: He lives in Ponta, Verda.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think the Jaguars have the requisite Caproom for him.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_02]: Tampa would be a great fit.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_02]: I think in a perfect world, Tray would like to stay in Florida, no state income tax, but he's also open to going to the best possible situation.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_02]: with the bucks, but we will have to see how it works out that way.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_02]: First, number one, how did we miss this?
- 23:07[SPEAKER_02]: How did this not come out?
- 23:09[SPEAKER_02]: I'm in shock because everybody knows as a polices where all searching for content hourly, literally, in this day and age, but gentlemen, just open up the floor.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_02]: I'll begin with you, James, thoughts on this when we'll trade Hendrickson, because I think this is of course a name to watch for the bucks in past-resh re-agency.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, this has been, you know, a name that everybody, at least in the box family base had been clamoring for for a few years now, right?
- 23:35[SPEAKER_00]: In terms of like trading for him or wanting to get him available, the bangles held on him as long as they possibly could, right?
- 23:44[SPEAKER_00]: As they are ones to do.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_00]: And now he's finally going to be available.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_00]: to me the positive well first off regarding the quotes and stuff like yeah this this came from Hendrixons camp and stuff like that I believe right you know and then obviously you know that is a thing of like hey try Hendrixon would love to end up in Tampa and it's like well yeah you know it takes two to tangos so we'll see if if the bucks would have interest in Hendrixon I think they probably would right because we all know
- 24:15[SPEAKER_00]: how dire of a need that the bucks have at Ed Russia.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's a need they've had for multiple years now, right?
- 24:23[SPEAKER_00]: So I could see a scenario where there is mutual interest there.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_00]: It is going to cost a pretty penny to get a train Hendrickson.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_00]: And there is part of me that is like, man, it just feels...
- 24:35[SPEAKER_00]: like it's a couple of years too late, you know, like he's 31 years, you know, like his back kind of cooked him this past year, how is he going to be coming off of that?
- 24:47[SPEAKER_00]: Like I still think he's going to be like solid, but again, it's this scenario where it's just like man dude, if this was like three years ago, you'd feel a lot better about it.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_00]: But right now, it's just like, yeah, like I think it
- 25:02[SPEAKER_00]: a fine move, but also given the Hassan redic situation that happened this past off season like it is a little bit like buyer beware with these types of guys now.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, Jason lights probably thing in that same thing where he's like, I just got burned, you know, signing a guy on a one year deal who would had a good history, had a down year and then.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_00]: you know, was not very good for us.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_00]: It would this happen again.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_00]: I still think there is going to be interest there, but I do wonder if there will be some caution from the bucks regarding bringing a guy like Henry Xen because of that back injury that happened because the age factor and maybe they'll look at some younger past pressures there in the open market.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_05]: I agree with everything that James is saying, big on the reddit, take the same way.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_05]: It's kind of the territory that you're entering here.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_05]: When you're looking at it, obviously having it down years, not great after you had the league in SACS, but that could have been for a multitude of factors.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it would make sense.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, obviously having a house in honor of features, huge, no state income tax.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_05]: If you want to FAU,
- 26:11[SPEAKER_05]: and that's where he played as collegiate ball.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_05]: So that's another draw.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_05]: He's probably got plenty of connections down here as well, which is which is great news for the Tampa Bay.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_05]: Now, are you going to be willing to pay up in that 25?
- 26:24[SPEAKER_05]: How much are you going to pay this guy like 25 million?
- 26:27[SPEAKER_03]: 25s about, I think, but going right, which 30 one year old would be interesting.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_05]: You're really reaching your bag if you don't, you know, if you, like, if you're going to go out and get this guy, I would love it.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_05]: Don't get me wrong.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_05]: Um, because obviously we need a pass rush or we need somebody to get up to the quarterback opposite of, y'all, y'all, y'all.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_05]: But going back to the original reports, it's very intriguing that nobody was able to pick up on it to me.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_05]: Obviously, it can be coming from an agent or whatever side possible.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_05]: But Sheffy does have all these different, you know, sources that he is able to pull from.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_05]: So my, the way that I look at this is that nobody was able to really push this information out, even though Sheffy said it on Thursday until we were getting closer to the legal tampering period that begins on Monday the night.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_05]: and they want to keep it as harsh as possible because conversations might have been had between somebody side and an organization to side as well during the illegal period of time to be able to have that contact.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_05]: So that's how I'm looking at it.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_05]: I know there's multitudes of different ways to look at it, but that's how I'm gonna take it.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_05]: I'm right in thinking that, then I believe there's a very big chance that David Bacon Landham.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_00]: Caleb, we've got to get you a board with the red strings, you know?
- 27:52[SPEAKER_00]: Can I do everything?
- 27:54[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, like we see in like CSI shows.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's what we got to get you.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_05]: Connected.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_00]: Connected.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_00]: Connected.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_02]: What are your thoughts on tray Hendricks and river, because, I mean, we've been,
- 28:08[SPEAKER_02]: We've been very I would say outspoken on the past Russian.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_02]: It's not just been about this year, but in years past and we've been long.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_02]: Not that they had something with with rhetoric there, but you were still taking a risk and there was not some good things heard about him coming into the box and Tampa Bay, but now it's now it's.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_02]: Now it's do or die.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_02]: You can do it or you are going to have to, you know, restructure everything that would forward.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_03]: I have other options.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_03]: I think I would probably prefer outside of Hendrickson.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_03]: I think kind of just be pretty expensive, given his age.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_03]: And the injury history might have been a little bit of wanting to get traded last year, but at that same time, if you think of it like that, that's still just the
- 28:56[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but like you just mentioned the bottom lines at this past, which has been really bad.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_03]: Um, it doesn't seem like Jason Light has been able to really draft and develop ad russures in house, um, which makes me kind of worried if he wanted to try that again.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_03]: And the first round or something like that.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_03]: anything helps, and Hendrickson, Hendrickson has prior history of something in a half sacks, you know, back to back before he won't even have that, that's not for nothing.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_03]: He'll even develop and he's got the moves, it's all that about us on Renekton too though, right?
- 29:32[SPEAKER_03]: That's a little bit more gout.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_03]: Tuck it, look at it, money's going to be a big factor.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to come to a guy that age and how long he's going to keep playing and how long you want to sign in for.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_03]: If it's like a one-year deal, you're just going to be able to say an exact spot next year, right?
- 29:47[SPEAKER_03]: And what if he's good, then you're kind of really struggling.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_03]: So it'll be interesting to see what they do.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_03]: I wouldn't mind, I understand that he would be that type of fix they're looking for by, like, their better options who are younger.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_03]: I saw someone in the comments, they are most passed, but I'm sure there's a old and beat up.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_03]: It's usually like a one or the other type thing.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_03]: See, they're older, they're older, beat up.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_03]: But there are options that aren't like that.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_03]: And there are also options, man, that are sitting behind other players on a depth chart that should be the, you know, the scouting department's job and take a look at, especially when you look at Shack Barrett, right?
- 30:23[SPEAKER_03]: I just wrote an article about the three best and three worst fucking years
- 30:31[SPEAKER_03]: in Denver and Jason Light and his staff correctly identified that he would be a quality player to give him more sorting reps.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_03]: They brought him to him a bay, he broke the sack record.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_03]: So those types of players think he should definitely be looking at too, but if you need someone to get him right now, has the experience where they're better out, just try to get him.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_02]: Now speaking of some other big names, there was a little bit of Max Crosby conversation and this came from NFL Insider and also two sports illustrators or friends over there.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_02]: Albert Rier, is that again?
- 31:06[SPEAKER_02]: Spoiler, no bucks.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no bucks mentioned in here and this list.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_02]: Now there was a
- 31:12[SPEAKER_02]: Good.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_02]: There's a point here.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_02]: It also to make that our Breard did point to Mike McDaniel a ton to the bucket here's before Mike McDaniel eventually went over and said, hey, I'm going to the chargers.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_02]: And going to get a Herbert, but you know,
- 31:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, right.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just traded a lot of capital for traffic.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_03]: Duffy before we go on quite frankly, I thought a lot of capital for Trent McDuffy.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_03]: So very high quality player, but they give up like four picks.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_05]: So Sean McVe fashion.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_03]: Right, that might affect their later.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, moves later, yeah.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_02]: Which one would be to you guys just to round table this?
- 32:02[SPEAKER_02]: Because we've covered a lot of Max Cross be through all this.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_02]: And there was also Albert Burr saying that this trade could happen.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_02]: This week, it could happen while we're on your lease not officially.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_02]: But some news could break this week that Max Cross would find his next team.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_02]: But which one out of these teams that he's listed Dallas, Chicago, Baltimore, Buffalo, New England, Philadelphia?
- 32:23[SPEAKER_02]: and the LA Rams seems to be a threat or is there another one that we're, you know, not on this list that we need to mention.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, the bucks I don't think are going to be willing to part with that draft capital.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, two first is just seem like a jace of light.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_05]: So it's an automatic know when you get into that two first, in my opinion, when it comes to the bucks.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_05]: So it's not going to be an option for them.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_05]: So we can, you know, kind of, start to wait, lean off of the Max Croftly talk here shortly.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_05]: But I mean, the bears are in negative odds, when it comes to the Vegas odds, makers to be able to land him at this point.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_05]: Um, so that's something important to note that the bears are heavily invested in Shuring up their past rush even though they already have a pretty solid one to just make it even more lethal Um, so I would say probably somewhere like that maybe somewhere like Philly or Dallas and where we can kind of elevate a defense not real sure.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, he could still stay There's reports coming out that he's pretty, you know, pissed off at
- 33:24[SPEAKER_05]: what's Guerrero, Brady's henchmen, or whatever.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, Oscar's name is, how business handling segment going now that Brady and him are within the front office.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_05]: So that's an intriguing to bid if any team wants to potentially go there.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_05]: They're probably going to have to deal with that side of things too.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_05]: But Crosby doesn't seem happy and he definitely wants out.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_05]: So he's definitely going to be on loop in my opinion.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, dude, Jason Lai won't even trade a seventh round pick.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, like let alone one first rounder or multiple first rounders, they'll stay on the team and they'll be an active on game day.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's like, it'll be like this, it'll be like this, guys.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_00]: Great.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_00]: What do you mean?
- 34:03[SPEAKER_00]: So like, so yeah, like, no, I don't believe the bucks are in any way shape or form going to trade for Max Crosby.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_00]: I never count out the Eagles, you know, kind of like what we just saw the Rams do.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_00]: The Eagles are one of those teams where it's like, once they kind of identify a player and they're like, hey, we're really going to go for it, they go for it.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_00]: So it wouldn't really surprise me if the Eagles were a team.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, really in that mix.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I know obviously a lot of people make that like kind of smoking gun connection between John Spiteck and Jason Liches.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, oh, Spiteck used to work for Jason Liches.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, yeah, but like Jason Liches in St. Lee values his draft picks.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_00]: You know, so like, I saw something recently where Jason Liches was like, yeah, it's, it's not like it's not in my DNA or I'm allergic to making trades.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, I don't know about that dude.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_00]: You might want to go see a doctor because
- 35:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I didn't make.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's fun to talk about like a lot of people in here are saying, you know, this is from J on YouTube saying there's plenty of defensive ends that are available, but we don't need to go all in for Max even though Max is the most attractive game changer.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_02]: He is a game record for you with a big time motor and also to the mentality that he would bring, you know, the bucks are in major need of some leadership on that set of stuff.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's just a really slip on David.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_02]: It's it's sending a different caliber and we've talked about on this show with, you know, this happened during the end of the season, but him and Devon White go and add it because Devon White wasn't in the right position.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_02]: Whoa, shocker there, but he was not in the right position and uh, that's probably let him know about it.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_02]: And so that kind of attitude is certainly what you want that, but there might be other guys that can give you that for a cheaper option there, but you know, there's a lot of teams doing a lot of work to try to get Max Cross being, you know, Jason Light, like you all just said, it's not known for doing these type of things.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_02]: He would have to pull off a stunner for all that.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, this is from disappearing boy on YouTube saying I wouldn't want to spend all that money.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_02]: on Crosby.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_03]: And again, with how many holes that they have, I mean, this team could lose its coach, because this GM, it could be a whole front office shift here.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_03]: If you were to sign Max Crosby and trade away a Barkey player for a big deal, then it's just kind of stuck there after like a whole blow up.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_03]: And he wouldn't want that, the bugs could want to deal with that either.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_03]: It just doesn't make a lot of sense to me, especially given I just don't think if you added mass cross be in this addressing room that they would just win the silver ball.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think that's the piece putting that's the thing.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's not just one missing.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sure Jason light probably thinks that too.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_03]: There's inside line backers.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_03]: I would hope so.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_03]: I would hear it as a line.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_03]: If Jamel deemly is that opens the whole or can't it warms in the second area, right?
- 37:00[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, all around is kind of fairly weak.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_03]: There's a lot to do.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_03]: That's why I'm most curious if the blocks do this office because there's so much to me.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_03]: It feels like to take care of and try address and I don't know how much capital they're going to have to do it.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_03]: And it would be even less if you brought it next to me.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_03]: We'll talk about some sure right after this, but there's another address as you can trade for, I think that would be way cheaper wouldn't take as much capital.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we'll get to that in just a second.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go to a quick hitter off of YouTube from Jay Bomb asking one question off topic.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_02]: After the combine testing, now you see my point in drafting quarterback, tailing green on a day three or fourth fifth round pick, which would benefit us life after Baker may fail.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_02]: So he saw my the Arkansas quarterback also played for foisi state was the 22 mountain west freshman of the year talented quarterback there in 25.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_02]: He recorded almost 3,500.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_02]: Total yards on offense and at a season high of 151 rushing yards against Arkansas state so he can use his legs if need be for sure But y'all spots here on tail and green is a gamer
- 38:15[SPEAKER_03]: He used to have a gamer definitely not bad to waste it or not that's a brawl word not that's Dang telling don't listen in for if you're not listening to hear the cannons definitely this folk I do like to have a green all our Arkansas listeners just yeah, I've ever thanks a lot SEC guys.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_03]: I've seen them play Yeah, so I do like to have green.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_03]: I did not need to use that.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_03]: I would say
- 38:40[SPEAKER_03]: For the fifth round picks to be a guy that will like pan out as a certain caliber quarterback is pretty rare, so those late round picks for like life after would not be maybe like the way to look at it, I do think the bucks are going to need a back up quarterback.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_03]: I always kind of thought whenever you take a look at back at quarterbacks, you should at least hope they can win like a game out of like three, you know, or like split a series two, two, with Teddy, you had no confidence that was going to happen.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_03]: He did.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_02]: He did not want to come up because of that thing that he did.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_02]: That he breathed right away.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if he often did either.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_03]: So a guy like, like, like, like, tail and green, you know, or any of those late round guys would be worthy to take a shot on on the draft because you do need a back of quarterback.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_03]: You could try and develop somebody, but you need to have a guy that you could somewhat rely on.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_03]: If they could make feel good to her, if she doesn't come out of games with
- 39:55[SPEAKER_03]: Um, that's something to think about, I think.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_03]: Notice we're talking to a Korean completely in this book, um, or Arkansas.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_03]: Love my SEC guys, uh, especially, um, so except for Georgia.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it is except for Georgia.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_03]: And you know, one on Georgia, but Arkansas is fine.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_00]: I, uh, yeah, I don't think I'm opposed to the buck strafting a quarter back.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_00]: Again, fourth or fifth round seems a little bit too rich for me right now because like, you know, again, like what river has been talking about where it's like that fourth round pick could be a backup defensive lineman or another backup ed drusher.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_00]: or a backup corner, right?
- 40:34[SPEAKER_00]: Same thing with the fifth round as well.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_00]: But I do agree that like they should look to get a, I would say like probably two quarterbacks in a besides Connor Bay's lack, drafting one and then maybe getting one in free agency, you know, Teddy.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_00]: probably gonna retire again.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_00]: Dude, I remember watching like Teddy going out there in a freaking hoodie under his pads.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, this dude still wants to be retired right now.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, what are we doing here, man?
- 41:03[SPEAKER_00]: And see, you know, like,
- 41:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think they could use a couple of guys just to just have some competition back there, right?
- 41:12[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, whenever we do talk about like the post-baker mayor of Baker may feel to era.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_00]: It's not 100% set in stone, but that's coming anytime soon, right?
- 41:21[SPEAKER_00]: Like that's still very much a wait and see type of situation right now.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_00]: For all we know it's like, yeah, you could say like, I had a bunch of moving on from Baker soon, but you could also say, well, is your next, you know, starting quarterback for the next five years, you know, like who knows?
- 41:36[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_00]: So I agree that like getting somebody driving a quarterback is like not opposed to it, but like maybe a six or seventh rounder as opposed to like a fourth or fifth rounder where you could probably use that depth at other position groups with kind of a mid tier pick like that.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_05]: I'll make it short.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_05]: I agree with what both these guys are saying.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_05]: I love Taylor and Green after watching the combine.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_05]: He's he's a freak of nature when it comes as athleticism a gamer watching his, you know, film and everything like that as previously mentioned.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_05]: I think it would be a great pick.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_05]: No day three that six seven as.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_05]: There we go.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_02]: We got it in.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_02]: Got it in.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to get it all over.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_02]: I got it all over.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_05]: I got it all over.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_05]: I got it all over.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_05]: Like James and River have iterated.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_05]: You don't need a guy in the middle rounds.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_05]: You can get a depth elsewhere.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_05]: That's what you should do.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_05]: Baselack and tail and green.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if you definitely want to really young quarterbacks backing up Baker Bayfield.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_05]: So again, back to James's point.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_05]: You might want to go get a vet back there while it's kind of to shrew things up, but quarterback definitely not out of the question and truly do love Taylor Greene, unlike River.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, I can't stand rivers tail and greens number one hater All the socials, you know, they wake up.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_02]: I'm tweeting Articles coming dark.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_02]: Articles coming.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_03]: Why the books should not Yeah, I did and and green of the great combine to and I think you know later around me for kind of drafting the developer all time
- 43:11[SPEAKER_02]: I'll tell you who's going to be really hands on what this is Chandler Whitmer in new quarterbacks coach coming in that's really intriguing because I think that's going to play a little bit more into the fact of who they are going to go.
- 43:23[SPEAKER_02]: and to either it's an FL draft as we're just time out or if that's going to be through you know the free agency side of things because you know this guy's coach a lot of quarterbacks definitely the collegiate level he's coached Trevor Lawrence and college for the end of windows as we all know he's been a winner just in fields too as well he was a GA over there at how state during that time and then Justin Herbert and the league Kirk cousins who else in here
- 43:48[SPEAKER_02]: Michael Penex, Jr. as well, of course, with the Falcons.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_02]: So there's a lot that is going to he'll play a big role into that quarterback room moving forward.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_02]: Just glad you're here.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_02]: First thing, Logan, that's what it's doing.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, I know, I made up for it.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_02]: That's what we do.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_02]: We respond shout out to Mike Norville and Florida State all about respond.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_02]: And I just respond.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_03]: Are they really?
- 44:10[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I didn't say FSU is going to respond.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_02]: I said I'm doing a better job of responding than FSU football has done in the last two years But we won't get started on that at all.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_02]: Please don't really can't know we already did earlier this week Don't worry about it.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_02]: We also don't want to talk about those gators the last couple of years too as well At least you moved on from your coach, though, and you get a little bit of excitement and all
- 44:37[SPEAKER_02]: That is true.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_02]: That is true.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_02]: Well, let's finish this off real quick, and we'll just mix this around with both things.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_02]: So on the sheet here, we've got some players at the box, at least for you guys.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_02]: Some that you think they should go after and pursue.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_02]: And also to some notes here of maybe who the box might be moving on from as well.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_02]: I'll end it off with that, but maybe some names that you guys are keeping a close eye on now that we're starting to see some things pop up.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_02]: we're going to start getting a really good feel of who and which ball are going to be available for Todd Bowles.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_02]: That was pretty good.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_02]: I got to go back to myself.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_03]: I wrote an article on this.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_03]: As far as trades concern, I really like Jonathan Bernard.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_03]: He's apparently going to be up for trades.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_03]: I think he's a very productive adroctor.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_03]: He has a little bit of injury history, but when he plays high-pressure rate, he gets this axe, he's a finisher, and I don't think he would be a lot less expensive.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_03]: He's had a pretty reasonable deal.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_03]: So if you want to do a trade, like a day to a day, three things, that would be the way to go.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_03]: And then as far as linebackers, inside linebackers, you've got to get one of those.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_03]: People will tell you like Devon Bush and Devon Lloyd are like the two big ones basically,
- 45:54[SPEAKER_03]: how much they would cost would be.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_03]: Something to look at.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_03]: So maybe a guy like Kate Nellis or like Alex, and I'd love to be a more valuable option there.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_03]: So it was to be my immediate free agency picks and my potential trade, but we will see how it shakes out.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, a lot of these guys are probably going to be regurgitated over and over again by not only us, but everybody who covers the box, you know, looking at inside linebacker is a huge area where the bucks are going to need some help even in.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_03]: I think they all actually need to.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_03]: I agree.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_05]: I've been on that same train with you.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_05]: Pick up one in draft, pick up one in free agency.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_05]: That's how I've been looking at this whole thing when it comes to inside linebackers.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_05]: So looking at those guys.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_05]: Um, Alexander Looney, it's kind of, you know, upper edge.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_05]: He, you got to note with him, too, is that he did lose his see this past season, um, so that captain see that he had on a deep inside that green dot, if you will.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_05]: on the defensive side of the ball he did lose it this past season, which not necessarily in knock on his leadership skills or anything, but, you know, seeing a production kind of dip down, they kind of win a new direction there.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_05]: But, and the Kobe Dean, real big name that you kind of want to look at here too, the guy over there, the Eagle is young, still very extinct, they've off ball line, backer can cover sideline to sideline.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_05]: And what would fit very well was
- 47:19[SPEAKER_05]: some concerns there with maybe size, maybe a little bit of his injury history, as well, Devon Lloyd obviously continuously being linked to the Devon Bay Buck Knier since he can stay in Florida.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_05]: Playmaker again that has tremendous range across the field fits into Todd Bulls and what he likes to do.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_05]: So that's kind of the inside linebackers that I would target for agency edge russures.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_05]: A lot of these guys are older, but you can kind of look at who is it, OA and
- 47:48[SPEAKER_05]: uh... no muffet muffet in uh... siadil it's coming in and there's a way to uh... for the chargers that is also out there kind of a guy that's probably not as much talked about as some of these other guys at the buts could go after uh... so those are kind of guys on a decent defensive side of the ball that i would want to look at and looking at the offense you really want to pay attention to that running back room so go ahead and just make it easy go grab Tyler out here from Atlanta parent backup was acrobson and then
- 48:17[SPEAKER_00]: Hmm, dude, my kind of tinfoil hat theory, by the way, is like if they did bring in an hour's year, it's like,
- 48:23[SPEAKER_00]: would he kind of maybe be battling for like a number one running back job against bucky I don't know maybe you know like he's yeah it's feasible he's a pretty good pure runner yeah um I agree with what the guys are saying here um for inside linebacker Leo Chanel's a guy I wrote about um he's a guy that I think kind of flies under the radar did some really good stuff for Kansas City um
- 48:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like I think he's definitely a guy who can give you a little bit of everything.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_00]: And I agree with what River and Caleb are saying here Logan, where...
- 48:58[SPEAKER_00]: dude, they need to add to minimum two inside line back like I'm thinking top, you know, top three rounds get an inside line back or get a decent fill and guy in free and see and roll out like basically like if I was, if I was doing things like my goal is to make sure servicier Dennis is playing as little as possible because you cannot cover to save
- 49:27[SPEAKER_00]: I think we can go ahead and rule out sunny styles at 15, by the way.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah, no.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_03]: Someone's going to pick him way too hot.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_03]: Now to say that he's not a monster because he is, but for a positional value, someone's going to draft styles.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_03]: Like, way up there.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and for Eddresher, like, boy, my face a guy that I think could be an interesting blend of youth, upside stuff like that.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you guys like Bradley Chubbed.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know, kind of wait and see on some of those situations.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_00]: risky older ad brushes out there right in this market right now where it's like it feels like a lot of Hassan Reddix running around out there, you know kind of kind of right in the scene, but like also, you know, I'm kind of the mindset too where it's like, hey man, you got to add two ad brushes too, like it just really rebuild this front seven because it has been, I'm sure you guys
- 50:23[SPEAKER_00]: rough like they really need to work on this front seven and making a priority this off season.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_00]: They've got a lot of work to do.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like they have not done before, you know, so like, I think they recognize that, you know, based on what Jason Lighten Todd Bulls have been saying, at the NFL Combiner had said, so like,
- 50:43[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see, but yeah, they inside linebacker, I add Russia, and even like the defense of line, if you want to like take a look at like a Sebastian Joseph Day or a Dramon Jones or something.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, those are some guys that I think would be some fits for Tampa.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_02]: If you're here with us on YouTube, consider hitting that subscribe button, got almost about that.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_02]: Well, over 75.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_02]: That was fun.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_02]: Literally, yeah, and smack the like button too as well.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_02]: If you're new here, if you haven't yet, consider hitting that subscribe button.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_02]: We've got content going for you all throughout the off season.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_02]: It's certainly once we get into a rookie mini camp, we're going to get into some interviews and to the NFL draft, 11th and reactions from everything.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_02]: and definitely of course training camp one of our favorite times of the year.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_02]: Get you guys instant reactions after every single practice and like like River just said smack that like button down below having a great episode, definitely what James have the time to join us.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yes sir.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_02]: On this show let's finish it off though real quick.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_02]: Let's talk cuts because that is a part of the game and that's what happens.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, every single year.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_02]: It's then a fel this has to happen.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_02]: So I want to bring up a few names to you guys and you guys can discuss and and bring up a few more if you have any but a couple here that have been named Sean Tucker Christian is Ian Marquis Watson was some reports today from Greg almond commenting on Marquis Watson specifically saying that expected to be
- 52:09[SPEAKER_02]: because but they would like to have him back with the box and this happens a lot.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_02]: Not a lot like Christian isian, you know, this staff, you know, Todd Bull specifically loves him as a player because he's so versatile.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_02]: I like to do everything it feels like.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_02]: Then you also have Sean Tucker, which we are having a conversation about running back, Caleb brought it up as well, but that's something that this team is going to have to figure out this offseason of what to pair it with.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_02]: Bucky Irving if Bucky Irving isn't your pure RB1.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_02]: What do you kind of do there?
- 52:36[SPEAKER_02]: Moving forward, but also some other names too to keep it on Anthony Nelson, Josh Hayes, Payne Durham.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_02]: There's some more to feel free to bring them up.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_02]: But where do you guys stand with a few of these names that were mentioned and who else could we be missing that could be on this cut block for the box?
- 52:54[SPEAKER_03]: Isn't it Tucker our free agent, aren't they?
- 52:57[SPEAKER_05]: Restricted, yes, yeah, yeah, so the buck and ears will have the option to match whatever Right, yeah, I want to throw a name out here.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_00]: Just to get your guys opinion on it.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so hear me out I don't think it's gonna happen, but let's say they do bring back my devons Do they trade Chris Godwin?
- 53:19[SPEAKER_03]: to be a big cap, I believe, yes, but the last year and the amount of money they put into them, I feel like there's a decent argument for selling high.
- 53:25[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think it's going to happen either, but I think there's a decent argument for selling high.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think it's going to happen either, but I think it's going to happen either.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_00]: I think I saw like they don't free up a ton of money, I think they free up like five million or something, but
- 53:43[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to help add that to the stash for Hendrickson or come on crossby.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but this is a free agent.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_03]: So crossby.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I was dealing with that the, you know, Christian Sean, they can be matched.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_05]: The buck and years have already made.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_03]: Do you think they will though?
- 54:01[SPEAKER_05]: The buck and apparently the new report to a Christian is in is they want him back, but the problem with that is they don't.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_05]: They don't, they don't want him back at
- 54:11[SPEAKER_05]: you know three point five million dollars right which is the annual probably get elsewhere because of how good he has been ever since becoming undrafted and landing with the buck and he was an immediately jumping into a starting roll.
- 54:22[SPEAKER_05]: A great great special teams guy and then a guy who has excelled and come up big in the clutch with with key turnovers at moments as well and been able to play safety nickel.
- 54:32[SPEAKER_05]: whatever you really need them to is extremely versatile.
- 54:35[SPEAKER_05]: So it's very likely that he won't be back because his services will be asked of from other teams to be able to fill in.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_05]: Sean Tucker, maybe a little bit better here.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_05]: You can still keep him as RB3 and see what happens there.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_05]: But the box will not tender, Marquis Watts.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_05]: So he will become an unrestricted free agent here this upcoming week.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_05]: So there's there's that and you know Logan you had mentioned paint their own another one It would be really small savings there if you were to cut him by again savings and all the way Vita Vaya has been a name mentioned here, but a restructure is most likely the course of action when it comes to
- 55:11[SPEAKER_05]: his contract, but a guy that you didn't mention that, I know Buck and your fans are probably pretty happy with letting go is a punter Riley Dixon just did not play out the way that we have wanted it to last season.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_05]: And so I think he could find himself very likely on the way out.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, because he's a team option, right?
- 55:31[SPEAKER_03]: And he could just be the way not use it.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_00]: By the way, Sean Tucker fans are punching the air right now, Caleb, for you saying he's a running back through you and not at two.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_03]: He is a running back.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_03]: The thing about Tucker is that Tucker is a peer speedbag and he's done some great work there.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_03]: But like when it comes to the archetypes, you need to come in a guy like Bucky Irving.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_03]: I don't really know the value there.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_03]: So I think they need a power back in a guy on who on third and three can get three yards and spell or have been kind of more physical part of it.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_03]: They tried to use Tucker like that for some reason last year and they just did work out.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_03]: So depending on how much that would cost, I don't know if that would be the way to go.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and needless to say, um, you know, the Sean Tucker stands out there aren't necessarily pleased.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_05]: Action.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_02]: 44.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_02]: Good one.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_02]: Good job.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_02]: Good job.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_02]: Good job.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_02]: Got him coming all day boys.
- 56:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_02]: Make sure that subscribe button.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_02]: You'll get him all day long.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_02]: This is coming from J-bom asking.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_02]: It's a good question.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_02]: What free agent tight ends would you predict the bucks to go after it be entrusted in?
- 56:50[SPEAKER_03]: This is a very good question.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_03]: How about if they were to go in and free agency, how much would they want to spend on a tight end?
- 57:01[SPEAKER_03]: Because I think Kate out and we've talked about this, Kate out and is reliable, but he's entirely on spectacular.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_03]: So if you want to do, if it's like a level of, do you want to do better than that?
- 57:12[SPEAKER_03]: Well, that's going to cost a lot of money and do you want to let him go?
- 57:16[SPEAKER_03]: You might get someone worse.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_03]: So they're in a really weird spot with that.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, like guys like in joku and goder would probably cost a lot of money.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_03]: And then there's a lot of older tight ends on this list here for sure.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if I love the tight end 3 agency class right now.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_00]: So I could see them going for like a Tyler Higme, just because he has the familiarity is Zach Robinson, but then like also like, hey, also we're going to draft a tight end and like round two because he's still 33.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_00]: Well, and honestly like this is going to sound mean maybe,
- 57:57[SPEAKER_00]: what does a katon give you that's any different than like what a Tyler thing be could give you.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_03]: I agree.
- 58:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and also like I think Kate's going to be I don't think Kate's going to be back.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_00]: He's one of those guys where it's like he goes into free agency and he just gets a bag and everybody's like all the bucks fans are like he he on a bag.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I agree.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_02]: Now there's a lot of the commanders we cover the commanders at commander's game day Caleb you know this We've put out a good amount of pieces where you know Yeah, I mean like about Kate on and the commanders.
- 58:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean he's a guy he's on the field a lot, you know
- 58:33[SPEAKER_03]: I just don't think when it comes to making these out there, Ella, he is an elevating an offensive vote because blocking and his receiving, I mean, they always say he's doing the dirty work, but I just think there are a lot.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_03]: You could get a lot more of that position probably, you could look at that.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I agree.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think a lot of these guys right now, you know, kind of elevate.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_05]: over what Kate taught and is able to do.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_05]: I'd be inclined to even say like Kate is most likely coming back because of just a little amount that's really out there.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_05]: But if you are looking for an elevation of sorts, when it comes to production at the position, you can look out of David and Joku, you know, that him and Baker may feel kind of had that little overlapping and Cleveland just for a bit brief period of time.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_05]: And then you also, I don't think.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_05]: I'm kind of like 50, 50 on Isaiah likely.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_05]: I love them for certain things, but I don't like him for a lot of other things as well, but if you're really looking to elevate a little bit over Kate on those are two names to look at, but other than that, I think it just might be a smart move to go outside, Kate to like a two year deal.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_05]: and then re-examine the position.
- 59:43[SPEAKER_05]: As much of a freak as Kenyansodik is, draft and tight ends in the first.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_03]: It's just, it's just, it's just hard.
- 59:52[SPEAKER_05]: It's just so difficult to, with the other needs that you have to go ahead and pull a trigger on a guy like that in the first round.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_05]: Um, so yeah, I think at this point, go ahead, get K, nice little two-year deal worth, you know, probably write around that, maybe you can even get them a little bit cheaper if necessary.
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_05]: But at this point, I think probably the safest bet is just to go ahead and bring him back as long as no other teams just offer him a bag for no reason.
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_02]: It's a question here from Sean asking, if Mike leaves, do you think they might take
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we were just talking about that.
- 1:00:31[SPEAKER_03]: That would be tough.
- 1:00:33[SPEAKER_00]: That would be tough.
- 1:00:34[SPEAKER_00]: I would be so done.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like you got to be kidding me.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_03]: That's bad positional value to start and especially when it comes to need value, I think it's not even a question.
- 1:00:48[SPEAKER_03]: So that would be that would be a bit rough.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I've got a question for you guys though, kind of go back under the defensive side of the ball.
- 1:00:56[SPEAKER_05]: What are your thoughts on what the team should do with Logan Hall?
- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, man.
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not in your contract.
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not even training right now.
- 1:01:11[SPEAKER_03]: I've got anything going on because I have a little bit love or I think that a lot of people are on Logan Hall personally.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_03]: I think the value that you could get from him.
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_03]: barely easily replaceable especially because people have mentioned he would be a decent sort of death piece with team but I still think you could maybe do better than that so if it's a really small contract on a really small deal it kind of fell in his death so I think that was the system I wouldn't mind it but like that that's too much.
- 1:01:45[SPEAKER_00]: Remember that vets minimum or he's not coming
- 1:01:52[SPEAKER_00]: I, uh, no, I'm not the biggest Logan Hall guy in the world, but now what I bring back Logan Hall, um, probably not, he is.
- 1:02:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't mean this is super disrespectful, but he does feel like kind of just a guy.
- 1:02:07[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I feel like I feel like you can get that same level of production from a lot of defense while I'm in around the league.
- 1:02:13[SPEAKER_00]: And I do, I feel like the bucks are gonna me interested in bringing them back.
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't think it's gonna be for eight million dollars per year.
- 1:02:20[SPEAKER_00]: If it comes out, it's like, hey, yeah, three years, 24 mil for Logan Hall, I'll be like, okay, all right, yeah, it's cool, sick, you know.
- 1:02:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like it's it's an interesting conversation.
- 1:02:35[SPEAKER_00]: That's one of those things too, where it's like, do you just kind of want to revamp that position kind of let Logan Hall and Greg Gaines hit for agency and just say, okay, we're going to get a new starter.
- 1:02:44[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to get another backup in here, Elijah Roberts is going to play more.
- 1:02:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'm kind of going from there, right?
- 1:02:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:02:51[SPEAKER_02]: And I like what I saw from my driver's last year.
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_02]: You got put into a position where he practically took over.
- 1:02:56[SPEAKER_03]: He largely siphoned Logan Halls.
- 1:02:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:03:01[SPEAKER_03]: Wouldn't have like word.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_03]: There you go.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_03]: Great stuff.
- 1:03:04[SPEAKER_02]: Siphoned in a word of the day.
- 1:03:05[SPEAKER_02]: The word of the day.
- 1:03:07[SPEAKER_02]: Siphoned away.
- 1:03:08[SPEAKER_03]: It's on the counter.
- 1:03:09[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:03:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Elijah really did go in and take over.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, one thing, what would be really nice of Elijah Kansy can stay fully healthy for a season.
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_02]: That would really make things interesting.
- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_02]: What in it?
- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_00]: That's why I think the bucks need to hedge their vets to on like bring in a couple of guys because it's like, you can't rely on Elijah Kansy being healthy.
- 1:03:29[SPEAKER_00]: Wait a minute.
- 1:03:30[SPEAKER_00]: Under any circumstances, I mean, my dude has been hurt every single year.
- 1:03:34[SPEAKER_00]: He's been in the league so far.
- 1:03:35[SPEAKER_00]: So that's why it's like, okay, bring in a couple of guys.
- 1:03:39[SPEAKER_00]: I think everything that we're saying, right, throughout this whole show, like they know, right?
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_00]: Like they know these things, it's just a matter of how much they want to invest and what they can do in a full office.
- 1:03:48[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I mean, maybe that does lead them to come back and be like, hey, we are going to bring back all on like a one year or five million dollar deal or something because like, you know what river was saying where it's like, you know what, it's that it's the guy we know.
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like we need him just in case Elijah can't see gets hurt again, which is like pretty likely and like at worst He's a depth guy who knows top bull system.
- 1:04:14[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, it's possible.
- 1:04:17[SPEAKER_05]: It's like it reminds me of who's the guy that was here forever It goes to yeah, that's kind of this what the situation kind of reminds me of is like
- 1:04:26[SPEAKER_05]: Obviously Todd Bowles loves Logan home when he's able to do so are they gonna let him go and you know That's kind of what I keep battling when it comes to it.
- 1:04:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we'll finish off with just one more This is a quick easy one.
- 1:04:41[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like from everyone here would light trade up or trade down in the draft What's what's the odds for trading at he's done it before but is there is there a target he would really want
- 1:04:55[SPEAKER_03]: about 15.
- 1:04:56[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if that's the case.
- 1:05:00[SPEAKER_03]: So my immediate guess would be no.
- 1:05:03[SPEAKER_03]: But again, if you can go way up and get some extra hiles, that's really bad, positional value of that high and you can.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_03]: Exactly, right up.
- 1:05:15[SPEAKER_03]: They're after eyes are baby.
- 1:05:18[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, like as far as original value goes in like team need, like, I mean,
- 1:05:23[SPEAKER_03]: Right, corner, I mean, we'll get a corner that's right there, waiting for you.
- 1:05:28[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so I would say for what the bucks need probably not, but you never resent before he's done it before.
- 1:05:35[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's more likely he, I think it's more likely he trades down.
- 1:05:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:05:39[SPEAKER_00]: Jason, Jason, like, loves draft picks.
- 1:05:41[SPEAKER_00]: He's traded down a lot over his time as GM.
- 1:05:44[SPEAKER_00]: Um, you know, and like this is a pretty deep class in the sense of like the stuff that
- 1:05:52[SPEAKER_00]: is pretty deep like it, it's especially a drusher, you know, a little bit it inside linebacker, but especially a drusher.
- 1:05:59[SPEAKER_00]: So like if there is some type of receiver on the board, or maybe somebody really convinces themselves that like, a tie-sum center or something is that dude, a quarterback, like, maybe he trades down like, it's much more likely he would trade down than trade up, I would say.
- 1:06:17[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I agree with that.
- 1:06:19[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I think,
- 1:06:21[SPEAKER_05]: You're, I think he would trade up.
- 1:06:23[SPEAKER_05]: I think an area where you could possibly see him doing that as in the second round with a guy like a CJ Allen.
- 1:06:30[SPEAKER_05]: If you can trade up because you know that CJ Allen has started to rise up draft boards, if you want to trade up a little bit in round two and be able to get him, that's an inside linebacker that you could utilize.
- 1:06:41[SPEAKER_05]: He's been highly spoke of from his time at Georgia pretty much commanding that defense and calling to plays by himself for the most part.
- 1:06:49[SPEAKER_05]: Um, that's the type of guy that Todd Bulls likes and that Todd Bulls really needs to be able to command, you know, a defense, especially if, like Levantay David decides to hang them up.
- 1:07:01[SPEAKER_05]: Mm-hmm.
- 1:07:02[SPEAKER_02]: Well, guys, I think this was an incredible show.
- 1:07:05[SPEAKER_02]: This was a lot of stuff that we had to go in and cover.
- 1:07:08[SPEAKER_02]: We have a lot more topics to talk about.
- 1:07:09[SPEAKER_02]: We didn't really hit a whole ton on Levantay.
- 1:07:11[SPEAKER_02]: David is much, we'll do that in the next episode too.
- 1:07:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, you still trying to figure out what he wants to do.
- 1:07:16[SPEAKER_02]: And there was a running out of time.
- 1:07:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there's not a lot of time left.
- 1:07:21[SPEAKER_02]: And they do need to get an answer soon.
- 1:07:23[SPEAKER_02]: Or that answer will just be made by whatever the bucks do.
- 1:07:25[SPEAKER_02]: And what is it going to be free agency or the NFL draft?
- 1:07:28[SPEAKER_02]: But that didn't.
- 1:07:29[SPEAKER_05]: It's got to get breaking news for us.
- 1:07:31[SPEAKER_02]: uh... very minor uh... we got a minor breaking news i've been a reissigned by the books for see who the kind of a slack uh... uh... to some rights for agent that's why i've never heard of them no no i didn't know i didn't know i didn't know i didn't know i i was probably the only report i guess in the only reporter but be in river did interview we did talk to what i was actually on a team with him at bowling granted there you go wait we
- 1:07:58[SPEAKER_02]: We spoke with him, but I literally had to ask him how hard are these headbutts that Baker may feel to give some in the pre-game warm-ups because he gave him a nasty one Then like Baker looks at Teddy and he's like there's a little tap before you go on a piece like bang right on your head Concussion that we're gonna fan or the headbutts for any team
- 1:08:20[SPEAKER_03]: If you're on Baker's team, you're going to get on that.
- 1:08:22[SPEAKER_03]: That's like a procedural move.
- 1:08:23[SPEAKER_03]: We kind of expected to bring him back on.
- 1:08:25[SPEAKER_03]: So he'll be there.
- 1:08:28[SPEAKER_03]: But like you mentioned, James, I think they might want to go out and get a more established sort of quarterback.
