- 3:54Speaker 6: Okay, So across the street there was a crack house,
- 3:59Speaker 6: like there was just nothing but crackheads lived.
- 4:00Speaker 5: In the house. This lady she comes outside.
- 4:05Speaker 10: And with you know those those nets that used to
- 4:08Speaker 10: clean the swimming pools.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Yeah, she came outside.
- 4:13Speaker 10: Wait one of those nets. He said, I'm catching butterfly.
- 4:17Speaker 3: She was running up and down the street during imaginary butterflies.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Whatever, that's crazy, that's naughty.
- 4:24Speaker 10: And then another one. I pick up trash all day.
- 4:28Speaker 10: That's what I do for it.
- 4:29Speaker 6: Later, I was downtown and.
- 4:32Speaker 3: This lady came up to me and she goes, there's
- 4:34Speaker 3: a homeless lady.
- 4:35Speaker 10: She goes, hey, you got a dollar. I was like, no,
- 4:38Speaker 10: I don't got a dollar. I don't have cash on you, you know.
- 4:41Speaker 10: So she walks away.
- 4:42Speaker 6: It comes back like fifteen minutes.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Later and she goes, hey, hey, hey, you got a
- 4:48Speaker 3: dollar out and pulls out her breast and showed me
- 4:50Speaker 3: her breath.
- 4:51Speaker 6: And I was like, no, I got a dollar.

- 5:15Speaker 10: Go wow.
- 5:19Speaker 1: People are crazy, man. People are do some crazy things.
- 5:21Speaker 1: It's talking about some of the craziest things you've seen.

- 5:32Speaker 1: rom Yo, I think we might have played in the
- 5:34Speaker 1: same golf tournament at River Lakes three or four years back.
- 5:37Speaker 2: There was a naked lady on the golf course. We
- 5:40Speaker 2: had to stop playing until the cops showed up. Wow, yeah,
- 5:45Speaker 2: I never I was. I wasn't in that golf course.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Hey, Rome, Let's see here. I seen this on olive
- 5:54Speaker 1: Drive yesterday. Probably has a generator inside blowing hot FUMEA.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Basically, it's a van, old van with a swamp cooler
- 6:08Speaker 2: connected to the back of it. Oh gosh, maybe he
- 6:12Speaker 2: was just hauling it off. Hey, Rome, tell me why.
- 6:16Speaker 1: I was coming home from work and this car pulled
- 6:18Speaker 1: over the side of the freeway straight pulled her pants
- 6:22Speaker 1: down and started going to the bathroom.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Probably because she really had to go. Man, Hey, Rome,
- 6:33Speaker 1: the craziest thing I've seen the Raiders are under.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Oh, the craziest thing the Raiders undefeated.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Ah ha ha, Hey Rom, I got a crazy ass family.
- 6:41Speaker 1: My sister walked into church butt naked the first time
- 6:45Speaker 1: I brought my wife to a family party. She's seen
- 6:48Speaker 1: my Nina pull down her pants and pee in the
- 6:50Speaker 1: parking lot. That same Nina also rolled down my hill
- 6:54Speaker 1: button naked because she had too much to drink. Sounds
- 6:58Speaker 1: like you, Yeah, and your wife still stayed with you
- 7:01Speaker 1: after all of that. Huh. You just talk about the
- 7:03Speaker 1: craziest things you've seen. Public displays are crazy, man, People
- 7:07Speaker 1: are crazy.
- 7:07Speaker 2: They do strange things. Good morning. Not what's going on?
- 7:10Speaker 9: Hey bro, My got storry for you.
- 7:11Speaker 4: Bro?
- 7:12Speaker 2: What's up?
- 7:12Speaker 14: They're just wait, there's way back when I used to
- 7:14Speaker 14: mess around doing that right doing what?
- 7:17Speaker 11: Man?
- 7:19Speaker 2: Okay?
- 7:20Speaker 15: What pull up? I went to the drug Denar's house
- 7:23Speaker 15: and they were just chick out there cutting the grass
- 7:26Speaker 15: with siggers. Bro.
- 7:28Speaker 13: Oh my god.
- 7:30Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 7:30Speaker 1: So when I walk in and I go, hey, what
- 7:33Speaker 1: are you doing you you're not a good one.
- 7:34Speaker 9: I go, oh, man, I want what she had.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Wow, that's crazy. Yeah, that's crazy.
- 7:43Speaker 7: Bro.
- 7:43Speaker 2: I'm glad you're not on meth anymore.
- 7:45Speaker 5: Oh not for god, thank god.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Yeah, going on, Hey, what's going on?
- 7:52Speaker 3: I was working over there on the ninety second month.
- 7:54Speaker 7: I was.
- 7:56Speaker 6: And there was this old almost laving down with what
- 8:00Speaker 6: was going around and that?
- 8:02Speaker 4: Right, okay, so find me this older guy that worked
- 8:06Speaker 4: with me.
- 8:06Speaker 6: He un having a figures that day.
- 8:09Speaker 4: Yeah, and and.
- 8:14Speaker 2: What oh we lost him. I think his phone cut out.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Oh we lost him. We can't hit the end of
- 8:18Speaker 2: that story. Oh what's going on?
- 8:21Speaker 5: So I work in an oil field?
- 8:22Speaker 6: Okay, So we're here in the middle of nowhere.
- 8:25Speaker 7: Right, this lady pulls up in a little station wagon.
- 8:30Speaker 3: It was like, this is my.
- 8:32Speaker 7: What are you guys doing here?
- 8:33Speaker 3: You gotta sticks chasing us around?
- 8:36Speaker 5: Alarious where you on her property?
- 8:43Speaker 7: We're in the oil field.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Dickie's here, Molla on a fitness We work out with
- 8:52Speaker 1: Dickey four days a week over at his cross uh
- 8:56Speaker 1: Cross Training Facility over off of fruitgvill Avenue. Good morning, Dickie, Hey,
- 9:00Speaker 1: good morning. Now let's talk a little bit about it.
- 9:03Speaker 1: What the gym is. At first, it is a class setting.
- 9:05Speaker 1: It is a fifty minute class.
- 9:06Speaker 13: Yeah, it's group training.
- 9:08Speaker 11: It's Monday for Thursdays, so four days a week, sessions
- 9:10Speaker 11: of fifty minutes each. We limit every class of twenty
- 9:14Speaker 11: people up per class. And it's a a combination of
- 9:18Speaker 11: strength and conditioning. You know, we focus on you know
- 9:20Speaker 11: obviously to your strength, your cardio and also your mobility,
- 9:25Speaker 11: balancing things like that is all functional fitness to a
- 9:28Speaker 11: higher level.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Yeah, really, and it really is good even if you're
- 9:31Speaker 1: not some sort of athlete. You just you got kids,
- 9:34Speaker 1: you want to carry groceries, you want to work around
- 9:36Speaker 1: the house.
- 9:36Speaker 13: That it's an athlete to a certain degree. We just
- 9:39Speaker 13: got to find that degree.
- 9:40Speaker 9: Well.
- 9:41Speaker 1: One of the things, but one of the problems is
- 9:42Speaker 1: when you have this conversation, the first thing everybody thinks
- 9:45Speaker 1: is CrossFit or they think, and that's not that's more.
- 9:48Speaker 1: You got to be kind of a gymnastic type kind
- 9:52Speaker 1: of an.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Athlete to do that type of workout.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Your workout for cross training is much more of an
- 9:59Speaker 1: everyday person just trying to be stronger, trying to be
- 10:03Speaker 1: more balanced, trying to be fitter, you know, trying to
- 10:05Speaker 1: feel better, lose weight.
- 10:07Speaker 2: And build some muscle.
- 10:09Speaker 1: And the way that happens is you're not I want
- 10:13Speaker 1: to talk about the fact that they always say, you know,
- 10:15Speaker 1: as you get a little older, or just your body
- 10:17Speaker 1: needs to lift weights, your body needs to move, your
- 10:19Speaker 1: body needs to do things like that. And your class
- 10:23Speaker 1: is so has so many different types of people in
- 10:26Speaker 1: it at different ages, different levels, and you can do
- 10:29Speaker 1: that with a group.
- 10:32Speaker 13: Yes.
- 10:32Speaker 11: The nice thing about our group training on our system
- 10:35Speaker 11: is that you can have a sixteen year old and
- 10:38Speaker 11: a seventy year old working out nice to each other.
- 10:40Speaker 2: They could actually be partners, which has happened before.
- 10:43Speaker 11: Yeah, you know, two different variations intensity level, some high intensity,
- 10:48Speaker 11: some low impact. You know, you could have come out
- 10:52Speaker 11: of surgery for something, postpartum or whatever the case may be.
- 10:57Speaker 11: There's a way to modify and scale a lot the
- 11:00Speaker 11: way we do our program, so it's not something you
- 11:04Speaker 11: will get lost in the crowd kind of like you
- 11:06Speaker 11: know sometimes in the Big Bucks gym, I used to
- 11:08Speaker 11: teach a group X you go in the back because
- 11:11Speaker 11: you don't know what's going on.
- 11:12Speaker 13: You're going left, everybody's going right.
- 11:14Speaker 11: Yeah, and that doesn't really happen here because it's very
- 11:17Speaker 11: structured and it's very simple to follow.
- 11:19Speaker 1: That is also one of the things you need to understand.
- 11:21Speaker 1: It's very structured, so you know exactly what you're doing
- 11:24Speaker 1: when you get there. You have all your equipment when
- 11:27Speaker 1: you get there. One of the things that is a
- 11:29Speaker 1: great about it is the person next to you might
- 11:33Speaker 1: be a little bit more, might be stronger than you,
- 11:35Speaker 1: So they might be doing curls with thirty fives. You
- 11:38Speaker 1: might be new to the class, still learning, or you
- 11:40Speaker 1: might not, you know, still working on and you might
- 11:42Speaker 1: be using twenties and you guys are getting the same workout.
- 11:46Speaker 2: You're earning the same workout.
- 11:47Speaker 13: Yeah, same same goal.
- 11:48Speaker 2: You know.
- 11:49Speaker 11: Obviously everybody has a different goal, but it's it's it's
- 11:52Speaker 11: build up to that. Whether you're trying to you know,
- 11:55Speaker 11: pack on a lot of muscle or just tone up.
- 11:57Speaker 11: You know, it's very different, and but you can achieve
- 12:00Speaker 11: with the same program that we do and the scalability.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Well, you're on a fitness dickie. They got to call
- 12:05Speaker 1: you how they get hold.
- 12:06Speaker 11: Of you, text me six six one four four four
- 12:09Speaker 11: three six three five and find out more about getting
- 12:11Speaker 11: a week free trial. Noose things attached, just come out
- 12:15Speaker 11: in for you and then we can go from there.
- 12:17Speaker 1: All right, So we got Dickie here talking about getting
- 12:19Speaker 1: in shape, getting I know, summer's coming and everybody goes, well,
- 12:23Speaker 1: let's get in shipped for summer. Well, I think we
- 12:25Speaker 1: need to go a little bit more beyond that and
- 12:28Speaker 1: just being in shape year round.
- 12:30Speaker 13: You know.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Yeah, and that's why I talk about Dicky, because Dicky
- 12:34Speaker 1: has a set class for Monday through Thursday.
- 12:37Speaker 2: It's fifty minute sessions.
- 12:39Speaker 1: You just program it into your lifestyle, into your schedule
- 12:43Speaker 1: and you get that exercise in.
- 12:45Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 12:45Speaker 11: The nice thing is you don't have to do any
- 12:47Speaker 11: online registration where you know someplace you get classes. Sometimes
- 12:51Speaker 11: you don't you organishe a class spot every day and
- 12:53Speaker 11: you can always clash other times, you know, because life happens,
- 12:56Speaker 11: you know, it's life camp make in the morning, came
- 12:58Speaker 11: in the afternoon, a vice versa.
- 13:00Speaker 1: But now the reason I say that is because we're
- 13:02Speaker 1: not you just got to stay.
- 13:06Speaker 2: The problem is you see.
- 13:07Speaker 1: These these meatheads on are these fitness people on TikTok
- 13:11Speaker 1: or whatever, and you go that, oh, I got to
- 13:12Speaker 1: be like.
- 13:13Speaker 2: No, you don't have to be like that.
- 13:15Speaker 1: You just have to work out within your own abilities,
- 13:18Speaker 1: stay healthy, stay in shape, so you can you know,
- 13:21Speaker 1: play with your kids or you know, whatever the.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Case may do yard work.
- 13:24Speaker 1: I don't give them, but I mean it's just one
- 13:27Speaker 1: of those things that everybody looks online and they go, oh,
- 13:29Speaker 1: I gotta be a fitness model.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Now you don't. I can't do a damn pull up,
- 13:32Speaker 2: but yet I work out every day.
- 13:34Speaker 11: I mean, you know, you know, all of social media,
- 13:37Speaker 11: it puts a lot of unrealistic expectation. What they don't
- 13:42Speaker 11: see is how mighty years those you know, those fitness
- 13:45Speaker 11: influencers had put in uh and and prior to them
- 13:50Speaker 11: going on them platform. Right, So here we not only
- 13:53Speaker 11: start you off. You know, maybe you haven't maybe you
- 13:55Speaker 11: were an athlete in high school, maybe in al Bundy
- 13:57Speaker 11: you were scoring, you know, touched under the one game.
- 14:00Speaker 11: But you know, we start you back up, and then
- 14:02Speaker 11: we start you with a you know, basic nutrition program,
- 14:05Speaker 11: and then we'll move up to a custom nutrition program
- 14:07Speaker 11: depending on what you're trying to do that way, you know,
- 14:10Speaker 11: that's you know, we all know nutrition is number one
- 14:12Speaker 11: key to success all especially doing a weight loss. So
- 14:16Speaker 11: we do that and you know, we get to bring
- 14:19Speaker 11: the best athlete version of you at the current time
- 14:22Speaker 11: some of.
- 14:22Speaker 1: The let's just talk real quick about some of the exercises.
- 14:25Speaker 1: You know, obviously we do burpies, we do box jumps,
- 14:27Speaker 1: we do curls.
- 14:29Speaker 11: So we do you know a lot of flyo metrics
- 14:31Speaker 11: and trying to do that. And obviously if you cannot jump,
- 14:34Speaker 11: you can always do step up, right, so there's a
- 14:36Speaker 11: modification for that.
- 14:38Speaker 13: We do a lot of free weights.
- 14:39Speaker 11: That means a lot of Dumbo works and I'm a
- 14:41Speaker 11: big believer of you know, imbalance of trying to do
- 14:46Speaker 11: each arm has to balance itself out instead of using
- 14:48Speaker 11: a lot of bar bells kind of you know, stability
- 14:51Speaker 11: wise is different. We still do barbell works, but you know,
- 14:55Speaker 11: we do a lot of free weights.
- 14:56Speaker 13: That way.
- 14:57Speaker 11: I have a girl that is a strong one arm,
- 14:59Speaker 11: she's injured other arms, so she's got a twenty and five, right,
- 15:02Speaker 11: So that's that.
- 15:03Speaker 13: Can't happen with barbell.
- 15:04Speaker 11: But you know, we do you know, your basic curls,
- 15:06Speaker 11: chest presses, but you also do you know, some of
- 15:09Speaker 11: the similar stuff to cross me. We do snatches, we
- 15:11Speaker 11: do barbo cleans and thrusters. You know, they need to
- 15:16Speaker 11: box shouts or they jump ropes. We do a little
- 15:18Speaker 11: bit of run here and there. I'll run to like
- 15:21Speaker 11: what one tenth of a mile, so one hundred and
- 15:24Speaker 11: sixty meters, you know. So the way we break it
- 15:26Speaker 11: down is usually you know, either a five rounder or
- 15:29Speaker 11: a ten rounder. And scalability was is very doable no
- 15:33Speaker 11: matter what level you are at your at your fitness point.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:37Speaker 1: And one of the interesting things or one of the
- 15:39Speaker 1: great things is some of it's time, a lot of
- 15:41Speaker 1: it's time, so you don't ever get stuck. You don't
- 15:43Speaker 1: ever get stuck on one thing trying to get it
- 15:45Speaker 1: done because you're not good at that. Because you're not
- 15:47Speaker 1: good at one thing, so you're able to get everything in.
- 15:50Speaker 11: It's funny you say that the reason why we put
- 15:53Speaker 11: our program works the way it is is because somebody
- 15:55Speaker 11: did get stuck at one exercise years ago or in
- 16:00Speaker 11: year fifteen, this is probably year to three. He got
- 16:02Speaker 11: stuck for like thirty minutes one exercise. I say, this
- 16:06Speaker 11: has to get better. So we've created this program.
- 16:08Speaker 2: It's hilarious. All right, Dicky Molliana Fitness.
- 16:12Speaker 1: You can check them out on the social media's social
- 16:14Speaker 1: media's and what is the fun number can do?
- 16:16Speaker 11: Six six one four four four three six three five.
- 16:19Speaker 11: Well check it out on Instagram or Mulliena Fitness.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Dickie's here Molliana Fitness. We've been working wend with him
- 16:25Speaker 1: for years now. He has a class that a fifty
- 16:28Speaker 1: minute cross training class, five of them a day.
- 16:32Speaker 2: And you can choose one.
- 16:34Speaker 1: You got your spot, you take your class, you build
- 16:36Speaker 1: it into your schedule. So it's just like you know,
- 16:39Speaker 1: anything else you do. You drop the kids, go to practice,
- 16:42Speaker 1: you go work out. It's the same thing. Now you
- 16:45Speaker 1: are going to do something with kids.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Now, this is.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Why this is very important because kids today don't get
- 16:52Speaker 1: as much exercise as they used to. Right, h Some
- 16:56Speaker 1: of your kids do because you just throw them outside
- 16:58Speaker 1: and there run around. But you're gonna do something with
- 17:01Speaker 1: kids and parents are just kids.
- 17:03Speaker 11: So it's kids focus, Okay, So we're gonna do it's
- 17:07Speaker 11: two days a week.
- 17:08Speaker 13: It's Tuesday and Thursday. Kids at ten am.
- 17:11Speaker 11: Now the kids are out of school, everybody, you know,
- 17:14Speaker 11: you can let them sleep in a little and you know,
- 17:16Speaker 11: get up and do a.
- 17:17Speaker 13: Little egg workout.
- 17:18Speaker 11: Yeah, the one parent is encouraged to join them.
- 17:22Speaker 13: They don't have to, but it is well that.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I was That's what I was going to say because
- 17:26Speaker 1: one of the things that I know is a lot
- 17:29Speaker 1: of parents be working or playing with their kids, and
- 17:33Speaker 1: to put to combine that with a workout where they
- 17:37Speaker 1: can do it together and both get a little healthier
- 17:39Speaker 1: together is a great idea.
- 17:41Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 17:41Speaker 11: I always say, you know, always have a you know,
- 17:43Speaker 11: a workout partner, you know, somebody to keep each other accountability.
- 17:46Speaker 11: You know, what better way to have, you know, a
- 17:48Speaker 11: mom and a kid or dad and kid to go
- 17:51Speaker 11: onto these classes. They're very simple, they're very basic. Obviously,
- 17:54Speaker 11: the age range is is from five years old to
- 17:57Speaker 11: twelve years old, so okay or twelve or more of
- 17:59Speaker 11: a the smaller kids not so much of the junior
- 18:02Speaker 11: high high school.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah. So moms, if you're looking for
- 18:05Speaker 2: something to do with your kids during.
- 18:06Speaker 11: The summer, it based on structure, on like you know,
- 18:11Speaker 11: functional fitness camp, which is much different than just having
- 18:14Speaker 11: a camp where uh, you know, they just have you
- 18:17Speaker 11: your kids run around and just waste time. Two. Yeah,
- 18:21Speaker 11: this will they'll they'll teach you how to properly do squats,
- 18:24Speaker 11: properly do push up, you know, your basic stuff from
- 18:27Speaker 11: the beginning, and then we gradually go on and on
- 18:30Speaker 11: and obviously the smaller kids is going to have more
- 18:32Speaker 11: body weight. Maybe the older kids have can do some
- 18:35Speaker 11: lighter weights as we progress on them. So but it's
- 18:38Speaker 11: you know, it's only thirty minute sessions.
- 18:40Speaker 13: It's twice a week.
- 18:41Speaker 7: You know.
- 18:41Speaker 11: He gets you routine and get your kids to learn
- 18:45Speaker 11: how properly do workouts and do funk you know, functional
- 18:48Speaker 11: fitness movement things like that. Because I know my son
- 18:51Speaker 11: is he's you know, coming on with sixx years old
- 18:54Speaker 11: and he's learning all this stuff. You can see him
- 18:56Speaker 11: on my Instagram. He does pretty good. I mean he's sloppy,
- 18:59Speaker 11: he's fine.
- 19:00Speaker 13: You know.
- 19:00Speaker 11: Yeah, they have to have a learn in the in
- 19:03Speaker 11: the early age and take precaution on proper form things
- 19:07Speaker 11: like that.
- 19:07Speaker 1: And it is a great thing, a great time for
- 19:08Speaker 1: you to spend a little bit of time with your
- 19:10Speaker 1: kids getting exercise in getting healthier, which fun.
- 19:13Speaker 11: Of me six six one four four four three six
- 19:16Speaker 11: three five. And you also see this post later on
- 19:19Speaker 11: today about.
- 19:19Speaker 1: The information about the information for it. I mean, it
- 19:22Speaker 1: really is a great thing. And you got to understand
- 19:24Speaker 1: it's not one of these It's not intense intense intense.
- 19:30Speaker 1: I mean, if you want it to be intense, Dick,
- 19:32Speaker 1: you'll yell at you. If you're that type of person.
- 19:35Speaker 1: If you're just kind of laid back and you want
- 19:37Speaker 1: to you know, you want to work out, and you're
- 19:39Speaker 1: not really an intense person, you're doing the fear of
- 19:42Speaker 1: Dicky will handle you in that manner as well.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Right, Just to understand some people are doing.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Everybody works out for a different reason, correct, and you
- 19:50Speaker 1: have to understand that.
- 19:51Speaker 2: So Dickie does.
- 19:52Speaker 11: We're gonna have a lot of fun, but we also
- 19:53Speaker 11: also going to be strict on on you know, proper
- 19:56Speaker 11: form things like that. So the kids get a little
- 19:58Speaker 11: taste of harsh reality. But at the same time they're
- 20:01Speaker 11: not gonna cry going right, So you gotta.
- 20:03Speaker 13: Have a balance on that.
- 20:04Speaker 11: Like all that, and also the parents if you decided
- 20:07Speaker 11: to join in, you get a little workout, maybe not
- 20:09Speaker 11: intense workout like a normal class would be because it is
- 20:11Speaker 11: full focus more on kids, but you get a workout regardless,
- 20:15Speaker 11: all right, Dicky number again six six one four four, four,
- 20:18Speaker 11: three six, three five.
- 20:19Speaker 1: You can text me and call him. Go to Instagram
- 20:21Speaker 1: check out will you on a fitness Dickie. We'll talk
- 20:23Speaker 1: to you next week.
- 20:23Speaker 2: We got it last night.
- 20:25Speaker 1: The Knicks and the Spurs. I'm getting you know. I'm
- 20:28Speaker 1: not a huge basketball fan anymore.
- 20:30Speaker 2: Used to be a.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Really big basketball fan. And they actually, you know, played
- 20:33Speaker 1: like men. Now I'm not really sure what they do.
- 20:36Speaker 1: But the Spurs and the Knicks.
- 20:39Speaker 8: What was it?
- 20:39Speaker 1: Game four at the Garden? Never been to the Garden,
- 20:43Speaker 1: I'm sure some of you have. I don't know if
- 20:45Speaker 1: anybody listening has ever been to the Garden. Supposedly it
- 20:48Speaker 1: is the best place to go watch a game, a concert.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Supposedly it's the mecca of state areenus to go to.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Now, I don't know. That could just be New Yorkers.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Being a holes and jackasses like they are, thinking they're
- 21:03Speaker 1: better than everybody else when they're really just a bunch
- 21:06Speaker 1: of clowns. But that's beside the point. So I've never
- 21:10Speaker 1: been there. I don't know if you have. Gilly might
- 21:13Speaker 1: have been there. I know Gilly might have gone to
- 21:15Speaker 1: the Garden. I don't know, maybe he has, but anyway,
- 21:19Speaker 1: it was just an incredible I don't know if it
- 21:23Speaker 1: was an incredible basketball game or not. It was kind
- 21:26Speaker 1: of cool seeing all the stars there. There was a
- 21:28Speaker 1: lot of celebrities there that were from New York. I
- 21:31Speaker 1: didn't really see any fans in the building. Maybe Kylie
- 21:35Speaker 1: jenn Or she might be the only one, but her
- 21:37Speaker 1: boyfriend's from New York, so you know she's down by association.
- 21:41Speaker 1: But other than that, I think everybody was legitimately a fan.
- 21:44Speaker 1: All the celebrities were legitimate New Yorkers and fans of
- 21:47Speaker 1: the team, so it was kind of.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Neat seeing all them.
- 21:49Speaker 1: The excitement of the game, I can only imagine how
- 21:53Speaker 1: exciting it was for the Knicks fans. They were down
- 21:55Speaker 1: by like twenty nine I think twenty nine points at
- 21:57Speaker 1: one point in the game to looked like it was over.
- 22:01Speaker 1: The Knicks ended up coming back. I think even in
- 22:03Speaker 1: the fourth quarter they were down by like twenty points.
- 22:06Speaker 1: The Knicks ended up coming back and winning it by
- 22:08Speaker 1: one point. I believe, one six, one o seven, I think.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Is what it was.
- 22:11Speaker 1: And so I don't know if it was just a
- 22:13Speaker 1: disastrous flop by the Spurs or if the Knicks are
- 22:15Speaker 1: that good or whatever.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Either way, the excitement.
- 22:19Speaker 1: The point I'm trying to make about it was there's
- 22:23Speaker 1: a lot of haters out there talking about, Oh, the
- 22:25Speaker 1: Knicks suck, the Spurs suck. All those people are a
- 22:28Speaker 1: bunch of idiots, And I do think New Yorker's idiots. Okay,
- 22:32Speaker 1: but I will say this, the excitement and the emotion
- 22:37Speaker 1: of that game had to be so incredibly thrilling to
- 22:44Speaker 1: be there if you were a New York Knicks fan
- 22:46Speaker 1: and truly are a fan of that team, the excitement
- 22:50Speaker 1: and the thrill of watching your team losing and they
- 22:55Speaker 1: should have lost the game, losing by twenty nine points
- 22:59Speaker 1: in basketball and twenty points in a fourth quarter of basketball,
- 23:03Speaker 1: and to come back and win by one point.
- 23:08Speaker 2: I don't know, have you guys ever done anything like that?
- 23:13Speaker 1: The closest I've ever gotten to that, And it wasn't
- 23:19Speaker 1: even a game that meaning this is for the championship.
- 23:21Speaker 1: I was at a Kings game, Me and my brother
- 23:24Speaker 1: are at a Kings game, like the day after Christmas
- 23:26Speaker 1: or Christmas Day against the Lakers, and it was one
- 23:29Speaker 1: of those walkaway shots and this was a meaningless game.
- 23:31Speaker 1: It didn't mean anything just to us sitting in the
- 23:34Speaker 1: arena and whoever dropped the game winner with no time
- 23:38Speaker 1: left and everybody just left the stadium heading down K.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Street to go party.
- 23:43Speaker 1: I mean, but the excitement to be in a game.
- 23:46Speaker 1: I want to say, maybe I was at a Dodger
- 23:48Speaker 1: game once where a walk off. I think I saw
- 23:51Speaker 1: a walk off which was just it's exciting. They're thrilling.
- 23:55Speaker 1: The excitement ups and downs of sports can really be
- 24:02Speaker 1: emotional and really.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Be tiresome, but it can also be so thrilling.
- 24:06Speaker 1: And I can only imagine how those fans last night,
- 24:11Speaker 1: you know, and you could talk about what idiots they
- 24:13Speaker 1: were by destroying stuff, but that's that's not those aren't
- 24:17Speaker 1: true fans doing that already? Four two, five, four or
- 24:20Speaker 1: seven to seven? Did you guys watch the game?
- 24:22Speaker 2: Anybody? And and and what I'll I want to say this.
- 24:24Speaker 1: The World Cup starts today, so you're gonna see the
- 24:27Speaker 1: same the same rabid fans or soccer fans. Soccer fans
- 24:32Speaker 1: are just incredibly loyal, true and emotionally attached to soccer teams.
- 24:37Speaker 1: So you'll see something very similar today. A lot of
- 24:40Speaker 1: places around.
- 24:40Speaker 9: Town, Hey, what's the man, that's how my house gets room?
- 24:45Speaker 9: Last night with this game, and then today they're having
- 24:49Speaker 9: my girl, actually my daughters are having a watch party
- 24:51Speaker 9: at like even today.
- 24:52Speaker 2: At the house for the World Cup.
- 24:55Speaker 10: Yeah, for the World Club room.
- 24:57Speaker 9: They're like, come on, dad, you've gotta come home for lunch.
- 24:59Speaker 9: I'm like, nah, up in the middle of the day.
- 25:00Speaker 10: I got to stay working.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Who's playing at eleven o'clock?
- 25:04Speaker 9: Sure, I don't even know room, I'm telling you have.
- 25:06Speaker 9: I've been so busy with work. But I know.
- 25:08Speaker 10: All I know is last night the kids were getting
- 25:09Speaker 10: stuff ready and.
- 25:11Speaker 9: Their dad at eleven o'clock.
- 25:12Speaker 10: We got our friends coming over and I'm like, all right,
- 25:15Speaker 10: well you guys have fun.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Yeah, it'll get crazy for the soccer. Yeah, soccer crazy
- 25:21Speaker 2: on it, you know what I mean. Yeah, the soccer
- 25:24Speaker 2: we had.
- 25:24Speaker 9: We had a tournament that we were supposed to go
- 25:26Speaker 9: up into La Room and they had they were trying
- 25:29Speaker 9: to schedule us for this weekend and I'm like, man,
- 25:32Speaker 9: you guys are crazy.
- 25:32Speaker 10: Hotels went up to like eight hundred bucks a night.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Oh yeah, they're playing some games in l A. So
- 25:37Speaker 2: far I forgot about that.
- 25:38Speaker 14: You're right, yeah, it ain't the time to be We're
- 25:41Speaker 14: getting no hotel rooms in.
- 25:43Speaker 1: LA Yeah, exactly.
- 25:45Speaker 9: You know what I mean.
- 25:46Speaker 10: But but yeah, now when you're when you're pad man.
- 25:48Speaker 9: It gets a little crazy at that. But hey, you
- 25:50Speaker 9: know what, room, I'm not a big fan of basketball,
- 25:52Speaker 9: you know that. Yeah, but that game last night, man,
- 25:55Speaker 9: that was pretty cool. The way they came back.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I was pretty exciting. It was pretty Yeah, it.
- 26:01Speaker 10: Was comeback like that. You know they wanted it.
- 26:05Speaker 1: Okay, oh me, Oh, Mexico plays Mexico and South Africa
- 26:10Speaker 1: play it at noon. They played at noon today and
- 26:15Speaker 1: then uh yeah that uh that last night game. I
- 26:18Speaker 1: mean just you could feel the energy just watching it
- 26:21Speaker 1: on TV now. And I'm not even a I'm not
- 26:25Speaker 1: even a New York fan. I you know, as far
- 26:27Speaker 1: as I'm concerned, anything past uh New Mexico don't exist
- 26:32Speaker 1: to me. I could care less about any of those
- 26:33Speaker 1: people on that part that way. I'm California in in
- 26:37Speaker 1: you know, born and raised and would never leave. But
- 26:40Speaker 1: uh yeah, they you could just feel the excitement. Man,
- 26:43Speaker 1: it was wild.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Yo. I'm a Spurs fan, and it was an epic choke.
- 26:49Speaker 1: It's true what they say, you live by the three pointer,
- 26:52Speaker 1: you die by the by it.
- 26:53Speaker 2: It's an unbelievable game. It was unbelievable.
- 26:57Speaker 1: You're right, all right, I do got to say this though,
- 27:02Speaker 1: Oh what did you send me here? Hey, roam, Mexico's
- 27:04Speaker 1: playing at noon? Oh yeah, so Mexico. Who's Mexico playing
- 27:06Speaker 1: at noon? South Africa and Mexico playing, And yeah, there's
- 27:09Speaker 1: gonna be a lot of people out today. Man, if
- 27:11Speaker 1: you're looking to go to lunch, if you're gonna go
- 27:13Speaker 1: out and have a you know, there's gonna be a
- 27:15Speaker 1: lot of people out at noon taking the.
- 27:17Speaker 2: Rest of the day off to watch Mexico and South
- 27:19Speaker 2: Africa play. So the World Cup, Man, it's incredible.
- 27:22Speaker 1: The fans, It's incredible how crazy they get over over soccer.
- 27:26Speaker 2: And that's why I said last.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Night when I was watching that Knicks game, boy, that
- 27:31Speaker 1: that stadium, that Madison Square Garden just looked insane. I mean,
- 27:36Speaker 1: the feelings, the ups and the downs, and the thrill
- 27:40Speaker 1: that those fans went through last night must have been
- 27:44Speaker 1: just incredible, just absolutely insane. You know, alrighty four to two, five, four,
- 27:51Speaker 1: seven to seven, Yo, Rome, So now where we gonna
- 27:54Speaker 1: get all these Knicks jerseys at You're gonna see all
- 27:56Speaker 1: these New York Knick fans in Bakersfield.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Uh probably not, but.
- 28:02Speaker 1: That's probably one of the few teams, uh in that
- 28:07Speaker 1: could win a championship, or because of what they did
- 28:09Speaker 1: last night, that's probably one of the few teams that
- 28:12Speaker 1: Bakersfield will bandwagon just because nobody cares about New York.
- 28:17Speaker 2: New York sucks. I'm probably not.
- 28:19Speaker 1: I would bet there's not one person in Bakersfield that's
- 28:22Speaker 1: lived in New York. So I'm just gonna say that
- 28:25Speaker 1: for that. So, but hey, I don't know. We'll see
- 28:27Speaker 1: in the New York Nick Flags. Maybe there'll be one
- 28:30Speaker 1: bandwagoner who really, uh really needs to to make him
- 28:35Speaker 1: feel better, make himself feel better about his life, so he'll.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Go get the the jersey. I don't know. I don't
- 28:40Speaker 2: think so though. Now I don't think so.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Of all the teams that Bakersfield's gonna bandwagon, I don't
- 28:45Speaker 1: think the Knicks are one of them. Michael Bean is
- 28:48Speaker 1: here for the Marriage and Family Center. We bring it
- 28:50Speaker 1: right on Thursdays to talk to him about your relationships.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Good morning, Michael, going all right?
- 28:56Speaker 1: Marriage Family Center six six one three two seven five
- 29:00Speaker 1: to one zero zero. Now you are explained everybody what
- 29:05Speaker 1: you actually do, Michael. Before we get into some stuff
- 29:07Speaker 1: to talk about.
- 29:09Speaker 6: Well, I just mostly help people figure out how to
- 29:12Speaker 6: how to reconnect again. Whatever's gotten people apart, whether it's
- 29:18Speaker 6: a bad habit of arguing with each other, they just
- 29:21Speaker 6: kind of can't really talk or they've just sort of
- 29:24Speaker 6: drifted apart. You know, our schedules are different, kind of
- 29:27Speaker 6: not coming together anymore, and that's when that's when people
- 29:33Speaker 6: reach out.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Now, Michael, when you talk about when we talk about reconnecting,
- 29:37Speaker 1: does it always mean that we have to be fighting
- 29:39Speaker 1: or arguing or can we just be roommates so to speak?
- 29:44Speaker 6: Yeah, that's the thing. Sometimes people just kind of they
- 29:48Speaker 6: sort of stop making the gestures. They kind of just
- 29:52Speaker 6: you know, the sex life starts to just dissolve. And
- 29:56Speaker 6: then yeah, they do, like you said it, well they
- 30:00Speaker 6: well that's so very words though. Use sometimes it's like
- 30:02Speaker 6: we're roommates.
- 30:03Speaker 10: Well, we're just.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Kind of I was just curious because we always talk
- 30:07Speaker 1: about or I think people really find problems in their
- 30:10Speaker 1: relationship when they're arguing, as opposed to just kind of
- 30:17Speaker 1: how do I say, putting up with each other, not
- 30:19Speaker 1: really getting upset over things, just kind of you know,
- 30:22Speaker 1: humdrum through life with each other. You still might do
- 30:25Speaker 1: things together every once in a while, or maybe you
- 30:27Speaker 1: still might do things together because you've been doing it
- 30:30Speaker 1: that way all these years, and but you're not really
- 30:34Speaker 1: in a place where you just love.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Being there, not that you hate being there, but you're
- 30:39Speaker 2: just kind of blah blah blah blah blah.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Does that happen? Is that happening more with people than
- 30:46Speaker 1: we think? And they think everything's just the way it's
- 30:48Speaker 1: supposed to be because well, that's how my parents were.
- 30:51Speaker 1: That's just we're not arguing, so we're better than our
- 30:53Speaker 1: friends who are always fighting. So does that Do you
- 30:56Speaker 1: see that a lot in relationships?
- 31:00Speaker 6: Very often the thing we get used to becomes normal.
- 31:04Speaker 6: I mean that's just almost by definition, that's what normal
- 31:07Speaker 6: is what we're used to, and so sometimes we get
- 31:09Speaker 6: used to just this sort of humdrum existed. An interesting
- 31:14Speaker 6: thing happens sometimes, and that is that when each partner,
- 31:18Speaker 6: when they're kind of level of attraction and level of
- 31:21Speaker 6: connectedness kind of goes down at the same time. Then
- 31:25Speaker 6: you don't see a lot of arguing because they're both
- 31:28Speaker 6: sort of accepting what's going on. But when one person
- 31:30Speaker 6: feels really committed and they sense that other person's attachment
- 31:35Speaker 6: going down. That's when you start to see a lot
- 31:37Speaker 6: of the arguing because it creates a tension between them
- 31:41Speaker 6: and the person. You know that it's like, wow, I'm
- 31:43Speaker 6: being rejected or you know, so I feel threatened, or
- 31:47Speaker 6: there's something going on, and then that tension comes out
- 31:51Speaker 6: in the way they talk to each other, the way
- 31:52Speaker 6: they treat each other, and then all of those bad
- 31:55Speaker 6: habits start to get amplified, the ones that we really
- 31:59Speaker 6: work on with couples so that they can actually sit
- 32:03Speaker 6: down and have a conversation. Wait a minute, let's talk
- 32:05Speaker 6: about what's really going on where we are right now.
- 32:07Speaker 2: And what we need.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Is it possible, Michael, for a couple to be married
- 32:14Speaker 1: in a relationship where they're not necessarily they're not necessarily happy,
- 32:21Speaker 1: but they're not miserable, and they may be getting their
- 32:24Speaker 1: needs met just enough to not see, Hey, this is
- 32:29Speaker 1: not this could be so much better.
- 32:30Speaker 2: But you know it's not that terrible.
- 32:33Speaker 1: I still get sex every six months, or I still
- 32:35Speaker 1: have whatever. We're not fighting. We still go, you know,
- 32:37Speaker 1: do the family dinners or whatever and family functions as
- 32:41Speaker 1: a couple, but we really just aren't as happy to
- 32:44Speaker 1: it do we not realize it as we're in that relationship,
- 32:48Speaker 1: do we not realize that it can be better? Because
- 32:51Speaker 1: we as you said, this is the new normal.
- 32:55Speaker 6: You're hitting on the main tension of just mental health
- 32:59Speaker 6: and general because in order to be happy, we need
- 33:04Speaker 6: to accept things the way they are, and then in
- 33:07Speaker 6: order to have things be better, we need to not
- 33:10Speaker 6: accept things all right. We need to know that there
- 33:14Speaker 6: could be something better, and the progress towards that well,
- 33:18Speaker 6: I guess mental health is kind of accepting both at
- 33:21Speaker 6: the same time. The way things are right now is okay,
- 33:24Speaker 6: but they don't have to be this way tomorrow. They
- 33:26Speaker 6: could be better tomorrow, and that is a tough thing
- 33:29Speaker 6: for us to kind of keep in our heads at
- 33:31Speaker 6: the same time.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, Michael Being is here for the Marriage
- 33:34Speaker 2: of Family Center.
- 33:35Speaker 1: All right, everybody, Michael Bean is here for the Marriage
- 33:38Speaker 1: of Family Center.
- 33:43Speaker 6: From the background, it's a good thing.
- 33:46Speaker 1: It's a good thing at summertime, and nobody's listening. They're all, uh,
- 33:49Speaker 1: they're all hanging out somewhere else. They're all in bed
- 33:52Speaker 1: still because their kids don't got to be at school.
- 33:54Speaker 1: All right, Michael Being is here for the Marriage of
- 33:55Speaker 1: Family Center. Six one three two seven fifty.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Now that's where you call Michael.
- 34:01Speaker 1: If you guys actually want to ask questions about your
- 34:02Speaker 1: relationship eight four two five four seven seven, we can
- 34:06Speaker 1: deal with some of it to a certain extent.
- 34:09Speaker 2: If you guys really have some issues. I know we
- 34:12Speaker 2: haven't done a lot of that in the last uh
- 34:15Speaker 2: in the last year's Michael.
- 34:16Speaker 1: So but so if people, if you do want to
- 34:18Speaker 1: text me eight four two five four seven seven.
- 34:20Speaker 2: We can talk a little bit. Michael. I want to
- 34:22Speaker 2: get back to this.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Uh, this idea of us being happier in our relationships,
- 34:30Speaker 1: and I just I I feel like most people don't
- 34:35Speaker 1: really understand that.
- 34:37Speaker 2: I don't think society has really.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Uh changed in the way of marriage of going. Look,
- 34:44Speaker 1: you are gonna have hurdles, ups and downs. You're gonna
- 34:47Speaker 1: have struggles.
- 34:47Speaker 4: You're gonna have.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Kids and mortgages and jobs, and it's gonna get a
- 34:51Speaker 1: little bit complicated. But that does not mean you have
- 34:54Speaker 1: to lose your relationship in the sense of you need
- 34:58Speaker 1: to put up with this hub drum lifestyle. You know what,
- 35:02Speaker 1: we always see that movie, Michael, where they get up,
- 35:04Speaker 1: go to work at six, come home at five, have dinner,
- 35:08Speaker 1: watch TV go to you know, that old, just boring
- 35:12Speaker 1: lifestyle that is monotonous, that you don't have to have that,
- 35:16Speaker 1: and it doesn't seem like society has ever tried to
- 35:19Speaker 1: change that as a big picture, at least from my perspective, Michael,
- 35:23Speaker 1: what do you think about that that.
- 35:25Speaker 6: We are were very much encouraged to sort of accept
- 35:28Speaker 6: this kind of idea that you know, over time things
- 35:32Speaker 6: will get hum drum and you'll just sort of settle
- 35:35Speaker 6: into this. You know, we'll check on the cheek and
- 35:38Speaker 6: then we go to our separate corners. You know, you'll
- 35:40Speaker 6: read the paper and you.
- 35:41Speaker 10: Go do whatever.
- 35:43Speaker 6: Yeah. I just think that it's almost too bad.
- 35:47Speaker 2: There's so much human potential.
- 35:48Speaker 6: I think that gets lost or wasted when we just
- 35:52Speaker 6: accept you know, I don't know, just you were so
- 35:58Speaker 6: right before when you said that things can get better.
- 36:01Speaker 6: You could you could be having so much more. And
- 36:04Speaker 6: just because you're about arguing or fighting or getting cheated
- 36:07Speaker 6: on or cheating on, just because that's sort of like indpendable,
- 36:12Speaker 6: doesn't mean it's great.
- 36:14Speaker 2: Well, now let me ask you this, Michael, because you
- 36:16Speaker 2: did make a make a.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Comment of what today is doesn't have to be tomorrow.
- 36:21Speaker 1: So I mean You could have a bad day at work,
- 36:23Speaker 1: go home and just go sit in your room and
- 36:26Speaker 1: be pissed off or sip wine in the closet and
- 36:29Speaker 1: whatever it is you're doing and take that day.
- 36:32Speaker 2: But the next day you can be okay.
- 36:35Speaker 1: So now we're with the family and now we're doing
- 36:37Speaker 1: stuff now, I mean, I don't.
- 36:39Speaker 6: I just don't.
- 36:40Speaker 2: I don't.
- 36:41Speaker 1: I don't get how we get there. How do we
- 36:43Speaker 1: get back to the point where you go?
- 36:45Speaker 2: You know what today was kind of we didn't do anything.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Everybody sat around the house and was on their phones
- 36:51Speaker 1: and nobody paid attention to each other. But tomorrow doesn't
- 36:53Speaker 1: have to be like that, and we can figure it
- 36:55Speaker 1: out if we want to. But do we really want to?
- 36:58Speaker 2: I guess is that is that? Is that a question
- 37:00Speaker 2: should be asked as I.
- 37:03Speaker 6: Think we sometimes want to. It'll it'll occur to us,
- 37:05Speaker 6: it'll kind of go through our head and then we think, yeah,
- 37:09Speaker 6: but do I really want to rock the boat or
- 37:11Speaker 6: do I want to risk rejection? You know, having a
- 37:15Speaker 6: conversation with your partner of hey, i'd really like to
- 37:17Speaker 6: spice things up in the bedroom is risking having them
- 37:20Speaker 6: go yeah, No, I don't. I'm just trying with the
- 37:24Speaker 6: way things are. Sure, you know that would really hurt.
- 37:27Speaker 6: So it does matter how you approach these things. But
- 37:32Speaker 6: but do it. Don't just kind of put it on
- 37:34Speaker 6: the shelf and kind of go it's too risky.
- 37:37Speaker 2: Well, at what point do you just give up? Then? Michael?
- 37:39Speaker 2: We should never give up?
- 37:40Speaker 1: Right, If we want this person in our life and
- 37:43Speaker 1: we want this relationship to work well and be happy,
- 37:46Speaker 1: should we never should give up?
- 37:48Speaker 2: Right?
- 37:50Speaker 6: I don't think it feels like giving up to people
- 37:52Speaker 6: they settle. When they settle, I think it feels like, hey,
- 37:56Speaker 6: I'm doing the noble thing. I'm enduring. I'm I'm you know,
- 37:59Speaker 6: facing the sure this long struggle or whatever. Well, now
- 38:04Speaker 6: you're giving up. Yeah.
- 38:09Speaker 1: I saw this video yesterday, Michael, I think it was
- 38:11Speaker 1: on Instagram, and it showed the dad. The dad went
- 38:15Speaker 1: out into the backyard to start jumping on the trampoline
- 38:17Speaker 1: and the question was how long did it take the
- 38:19Speaker 1: kids to join? Three kids in the house, all on
- 38:22Speaker 1: their technology and there were little kids, and he goes,
- 38:25Speaker 1: how long you think it'll take for them to figure
- 38:28Speaker 1: it out? And the first kid it took fifteen seconds
- 38:30Speaker 1: for him to run out there and jump on the trampoline.
- 38:32Speaker 2: The second kid didn't really care. The third kid.
- 38:35Speaker 1: It took like forty five seconds, they said, and all
- 38:37Speaker 1: of so two of the kids were out there with
- 38:39Speaker 1: the dad playing in the trampoline because he started it. Yeah,
- 38:42Speaker 1: and when as we're talking about this about you got
- 38:47Speaker 1: to start it, you got to try something right?
- 38:50Speaker 6: Yeah? Absolutely, I mean again, no, you kind of don't
- 38:54Speaker 6: have to. But why are you saying no to tomorrow
- 38:57Speaker 6: just because you're putting up with today? Be like down
- 39:01Speaker 6: the road for you? What could how could this summer
- 39:04Speaker 6: end up for you if you don't just kind of
- 39:07Speaker 6: say mad rather not rock the boat. So you know,
- 39:11Speaker 6: that's a great vision. It should be in people's mind
- 39:15Speaker 6: of setting up this trampoline this Hey, there's an opportunity
- 39:19Speaker 6: here for us and then going for it.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I want to ask you about uh, I want
- 39:24Speaker 1: to talk to you a little bit more about this.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Michael Being is here from the Manager Family Center six
- 39:28Speaker 1: six one three two seven fifty one hundred If you
- 39:31Speaker 1: want to talk to Michael six six one three two
- 39:33Speaker 1: seven fifty one hundred if you got any questions and
- 39:35Speaker 1: four two, five, four or seven and seven about your
- 39:38Speaker 1: relationship Michael, good morning, and I want to continue a
- 39:43Speaker 1: little bit about you know kind of kind of I
- 39:48Speaker 1: don't know how to say, you're not really you kind
- 39:51Speaker 1: of aren't connected. You're losing your your connection just because
- 39:55Speaker 1: jobs or kids, or or TV or phones or whatever.
- 39:59Speaker 1: But you really want to try to get that back.
- 40:02Speaker 1: And I'm going to use this example again. Oh go ahead, Michael,
- 40:05Speaker 1: go ahead.
- 40:06Speaker 6: No, just I was going to say the way you
- 40:07Speaker 6: said before the break was was great. It was like
- 40:11Speaker 6: does it matter how you go about making these changes?
- 40:14Speaker 6: And I think it really does.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Okay, Okay, So what do you mean by that?
- 40:21Speaker 6: Well, I mean if you've ever worked for a company
- 40:23Speaker 6: where nothing ever happens, right, I mean that's like totally
- 40:27Speaker 6: a need for a change and nobody's sort of listening
- 40:31Speaker 6: and just isn't happening. It doesn't. That feels terrible. You
- 40:34Speaker 6: feel like, wow, this is just there's like nobody home.
- 40:38Speaker 6: I'm just here by myself. And that's how it feels
- 40:40Speaker 6: like a relationship when something changes. But then we've also
- 40:43Speaker 6: worked for a company where all of a sudden, they're like, okay, guys,
- 40:45Speaker 6: new computer systems, get used to it.
- 40:47Speaker 4: Here it is.
- 40:48Speaker 6: You're going to this training and you're going to learn
- 40:50Speaker 6: to use this thing, and you're and you just feel
- 40:52Speaker 6: sort of jerked along. So either approach in relationships is
- 40:56Speaker 6: also not good. If you want to make changes in
- 40:59Speaker 6: a relationship, you know, you've got to bring things up.
- 41:02Speaker 6: You got to bring people along and use some courage
- 41:06Speaker 6: and encouragement. But you also take your time and you
- 41:09Speaker 6: kind of just like, yeah, me to find out how
- 41:12Speaker 6: people are feeling about this change as it goes along,
- 41:15Speaker 6: or people just feel sort of pushed through it.
- 41:18Speaker 1: And that's what I was kind of going to give
- 41:19Speaker 1: to Michael about how you approach it. You know, you
- 41:22Speaker 1: come in and you go I mean, I'll just give
- 41:24Speaker 1: you an example. The guy the thing I saw on
- 41:27Speaker 1: the video the other day, the dad went to play
- 41:29Speaker 1: on the trampoline. The kids had the option to go
- 41:31Speaker 1: out or not. Two or the three kids went right
- 41:33Speaker 1: out there to go play with him. And that's a
- 41:36Speaker 1: positive change for a relationship to connect with his kids.
- 41:39Speaker 1: So now you got the kids at home on their phones,
- 41:43Speaker 1: you got the wife on her phone. Everybody's just kind
- 41:45Speaker 1: of you know, and then dad comes home and he
- 41:48Speaker 1: wants to do stuff. Everybody nobody wants to do this,
- 41:51Speaker 1: or even dad comes home and wants to just sit down,
- 41:53Speaker 1: and mom wants to do stuff. They've been waiting all
- 41:55Speaker 1: day for dad to come home to do family stuff.
- 41:57Speaker 1: The way you handle it, you can't just It's like
- 42:01Speaker 1: most people give their family or their relationships ultimatums as
- 42:05Speaker 1: opposed to options, And I just don't understand why we
- 42:10Speaker 1: do that.
- 42:11Speaker 2: And I may be wrong about that.
- 42:14Speaker 6: No, I think that is an approach a lot of
- 42:15Speaker 6: people use, or it's kind of almost a bullying approach
- 42:18Speaker 6: where it's just like, Okay, well give me those phones.
- 42:20Speaker 6: We're going to go out to the plan exactly, you're
- 42:25Speaker 6: gonna have people just staring at you while you inside, now,
- 42:31Speaker 6: you know.
- 42:33Speaker 1: But if you give options of doing things that can
- 42:36Speaker 1: be you know, you say, hey, what do you guys
- 42:37Speaker 1: feel about doing this? Let's go to the movies, Let's
- 42:40Speaker 1: go to dinner, let's go you know, to the boulevard,
- 42:43Speaker 1: let's go I mean, just different options of things that
- 42:46Speaker 1: you can do together, even if it's something at home.
- 42:48Speaker 1: I just I don't see a lot of people doing
- 42:53Speaker 1: giving options for everybody to kind of decide for themselves,
- 42:56Speaker 1: like this is the best way for me to reconnec
- 43:00Speaker 1: with you.
- 43:00Speaker 2: Instead, you're like you said, bully, ultimatum, things like that.
- 43:04Speaker 6: Yeah, And here's the weird thing that happens when the
- 43:06Speaker 6: honeymoon face starts to wear off. Remember when you were
- 43:10Speaker 6: courting that person, when you wanted their attention, Man, you
- 43:14Speaker 6: would put up with a ton of rejection. You would
- 43:16Speaker 6: try little things here and there, and sometimes they didn't work,
- 43:18Speaker 6: and you didn't care. You were gonna we stay persistent, Yes,
- 43:23Speaker 6: But then later in the relationship was then it's just like, oh, man,
- 43:27Speaker 6: would feel so terrible if they said no, Well, wait
- 43:29Speaker 6: a minute, what happened to you? Where's that person that
- 43:32Speaker 6: showed up you know six months or year, two years ago,
- 43:36Speaker 6: was just willing to try all kinds of new things.
- 43:39Speaker 6: What happened to that person? Now all of a sudden,
- 43:41Speaker 6: you're this person that's just like super gun shy or whatever.
- 43:44Speaker 6: And you know, we sometimes will like go, yeah, that's
- 43:48Speaker 6: true because of them. We sort of blamed their behavior
- 43:54Speaker 6: on how we are now and the why that never.
- 43:57Speaker 1: Goes well, all right, Michael, mean you saved for the
- 43:59Speaker 1: marriage of family center. One last thing, Michael, as it
- 44:02Speaker 1: pertains to this situation. Then I got a couple questions
- 44:04Speaker 1: I want to ask you.
- 44:05Speaker 2: People have texted in is one day you might And
- 44:09Speaker 2: I always joke about this at my house.
- 44:12Speaker 1: I always say, you know, one day I'll walk into
- 44:14Speaker 1: the house and the dishes are there and I think, yeah,
- 44:16Speaker 1: they don't bother me. The next day I might wake
- 44:19Speaker 1: up and go, man, those are really botheringly. Let me
- 44:21Speaker 1: get that done right now, because they're just driving me
- 44:23Speaker 1: insane today, but they didn't drive me insane yesterday.
- 44:26Speaker 2: So how do we.
- 44:28Speaker 1: Deal with a couples who maybe one day he or
- 44:31Speaker 1: she really doesn't want to do You're just not on
- 44:33Speaker 1: the same energy level at that day, and it never
- 44:38Speaker 1: seems to work out. Now one day turns into one month.
- 44:45Speaker 1: I know.
- 44:45Speaker 6: How do you kind of persist with anything that isn't
- 44:49Speaker 6: like a sure thing. Well, it's real easy to just say, okay,
- 44:54Speaker 6: well I'm going to paint this room a different color,
- 44:56Speaker 6: and then you pick out the paint and you do it,
- 44:58Speaker 6: because that's one thing you can just to make a
- 45:00Speaker 6: decision about and how it happen. But when you're dealing
- 45:02Speaker 6: with another person, you are you've got their attitudes about
- 45:06Speaker 6: it and how they're going to respond to it, and
- 45:10Speaker 6: their energies and up to the downs, and so you
- 45:13Speaker 6: do have to have a different kind of patience and
- 45:15Speaker 6: persistence than you do with almost any other thing that
- 45:18Speaker 6: you're trying to make changes in this.
- 45:20Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, Michael Bean is here for the Marriage
- 45:22Speaker 1: and Family Center. Michael Being is here for the Marriage
- 45:24Speaker 1: and Family Center. Six six, one, three, two, seven fifty
- 45:27Speaker 1: one hundred. You call Michael, go through the motions. There
- 45:30Speaker 1: is some steps you have to follow, and you can
- 45:31Speaker 1: get a hold of them. Good morning, Michael, Well, good morning.
- 45:34Speaker 2: Okay.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Somebody just texted I want to have this conversation because
- 45:37Speaker 1: I think it's a very important one that a lot
- 45:39Speaker 1: of people may be dealing with in their lives.
- 45:40Speaker 2: It says, good morning, Romeo.
- 45:42Speaker 1: The question is he wants me to hear about his day,
- 45:46Speaker 1: but when I tell him about mine, he shows no.
- 45:49Speaker 2: Interest or barely even responds.
- 45:54Speaker 1: Pretty common, right, Michael, Just not it Sometimes it's just
- 45:57Speaker 1: even common between friends.
- 45:59Speaker 2: It's just personality.
- 46:00Speaker 6: Between people, true, and I would say personalities and also
- 46:05Speaker 6: just habits of interaction. It's the way you kind of
- 46:08Speaker 6: start interacting with each other and it becomes it becomes
- 46:11Speaker 6: kind of the rules of your relationship. And Man, before
- 46:15Speaker 6: I answer, I just wanted to like let everybody know, hey,
- 46:18Speaker 6: I get it that I don't know your situation, and
- 46:22Speaker 6: we're sitting here talking about relationships kind of in general
- 46:25Speaker 6: terms in ways that may or may not apply to
- 46:28Speaker 6: somebody who's listening to this. There are persons people right
- 46:30Speaker 6: now who are just thinking so frustrated hearing this because
- 46:34Speaker 6: I know all of that. I've tried all of that,
- 46:37Speaker 6: you know, it's just that it doesn't work. And so
- 46:41Speaker 6: I just want to let you know, I get it
- 46:43Speaker 6: that I don't understand your situation. I want to understand
- 46:46Speaker 6: your situation so I can help specifically you, But right
- 46:49Speaker 6: now we just need we just have to kind of
- 46:50Speaker 6: talk in generality in ways that might appeal to most people,
- 46:56Speaker 6: but I let it that you're not most people, you know. Okay, Yeah,
- 47:01Speaker 6: these habits of interaction where you end up feeling like, okay, well,
- 47:05Speaker 6: how is it that I can listen to you and
- 47:08Speaker 6: hear you talk about something maybe that's not even really
- 47:11Speaker 6: that interesting to me, That I can hear you out
- 47:13Speaker 6: and let you kind of speak, But when it's my turn,
- 47:15Speaker 6: I feel sort of cut off or put off or like,
- 47:18Speaker 6: now it's just like you're making some big, huge sacrifice
- 47:21Speaker 6: to even hear me. For ten seconds. That doesn't feel good.
- 47:24Speaker 6: It just doesn't. And almost behind that question, I just
- 47:28Speaker 6: sent this feeling of almost like a lack of respect,
- 47:31Speaker 6: you know, or something, or lack of regards. Maybe that
- 47:34Speaker 6: other person just doesn't think much of me. And when
- 47:38Speaker 6: it comes across like that, I don't know that that
- 47:41Speaker 6: person is feeling that way, But in those interactions, in
- 47:44Speaker 6: that moment when you just want to be heard, it
- 47:46Speaker 6: does kind of feel that way. It feels bad that
- 47:48Speaker 6: we have to assert ourselves instead of the other person
- 47:52Speaker 6: sort of asserting our needs for us.
- 47:55Speaker 1: I got nine hundred questions for you. One is was
- 47:59Speaker 1: he like that when you met him?
- 48:02Speaker 7: Two?
- 48:03Speaker 2: When you deal with somebody, just because.
- 48:06Speaker 1: They don't react the way that you react when somebody's
- 48:10Speaker 1: saying something to you, doesn't mean they're not listening.
- 48:15Speaker 2: And what is the if you're more of a.
- 48:22Speaker 1: Animated, vocal person and you show it in a way
- 48:26Speaker 1: that seems different than somebody else shows it to you,
- 48:29Speaker 1: does that really mean that they're not that they don't care?
- 48:33Speaker 1: And I'm just these are the questions I would ask Mica.
- 48:36Speaker 1: I'm not trying to contradict what she's saying. What I'm
- 48:38Speaker 1: saying is all of these things complicate, and as you said,
- 48:41Speaker 1: I don't know your situation. You just said it, so
- 48:44Speaker 1: these would be all the questions you have to figure
- 48:46Speaker 1: out before you can actually help somebody and go, wait
- 48:49Speaker 1: a second, here's where we can help each other. But
- 48:52Speaker 1: we don't know any of those questions. I don't know
- 48:55Speaker 1: if he's been like that from day one. I don't
- 48:57Speaker 1: know if he's listening and he just his responses are
- 49:00Speaker 1: more of a you know, he's kind of a quiet, silent,
- 49:03Speaker 1: quiet time or a quiet type, and she's more of
- 49:07Speaker 1: a vocalizing, you know.
- 49:08Speaker 2: Huggy feely type. I don't know those questions. I don't
- 49:11Speaker 2: know those answers to those questions.
- 49:13Speaker 1: Now, let me ask you this, Does that play a
- 49:15Speaker 1: factor in helping somebody?
- 49:17Speaker 2: As I just asked you those questions.
- 49:20Speaker 6: Well, I mean, at some point it might. I think
- 49:23Speaker 6: initially it's really important to just take a person at
- 49:26Speaker 6: face value and go, hey, if you're having this question,
- 49:29Speaker 6: it's because you're really lacking something that you need in
- 49:32Speaker 6: this relationship. And that was my best guess is that
- 49:35Speaker 6: it's that feeling of feeling regarded.
- 49:38Speaker 2: I don't disagree with you. I think you're right.
- 49:40Speaker 1: I just I would just wanted to know these other
- 49:42Speaker 1: things to understand more about him. Maybe you're overreacting and
- 49:46Speaker 1: he's underreacting, and now we can we got to find
- 49:49Speaker 1: a middle middle ground for everybody.
- 49:52Speaker 11: There.
- 49:53Speaker 6: There are ways to go with this, for sure. There
- 49:55Speaker 6: are ways or this this person who wrote in to
- 49:59Speaker 6: get their needs in this relationship in a really fulfilling way.
- 50:02Speaker 6: I'm not sure what those ways are, just because that's
- 50:05Speaker 6: the process. That's how we have to get to through
- 50:09Speaker 6: the interaction, by finding out all the details about you know,
- 50:13Speaker 6: the history and the actual dynamics of the relationship, what
- 50:17Speaker 6: got it to this point and what keeps it at
- 50:19Speaker 6: this point. That's the important thing. I mentioned the word history,
- 50:22Speaker 6: and that is important, just that it sort of enlightens
- 50:26Speaker 6: how the path was walked to this point. But we
- 50:30Speaker 6: don't dwell on it. We we talk about, okay, well, what
- 50:32Speaker 6: is the dynamic right now and what would you like
- 50:34Speaker 6: it to be and what's the first step kind of
- 50:36Speaker 6: toward that or.
- 50:37Speaker 1: Is that Michael Beans got a good chat here marriage
- 50:41Speaker 1: a Family Center six one three fifty one hundred and
- 50:45Speaker 1: give him a call.
- 50:46Speaker 2: Michael, we want to talk to you next week.
- 50:48Speaker 1: I uh, I was going to ask you something.
- 50:52Speaker 2: Oh, I'll talk to you about it off there, all right.
- 50:54Speaker 6: Michael, Well you're thinking about that. I just want to
- 50:56Speaker 6: remind people that when you do call six six one
- 50:58Speaker 6: three two, just follow the instructions. Just listen to the
- 51:02Speaker 6: message and follow the instructions and you'll get.
- 51:04Speaker 13: To talk to you.
- 51:05Speaker 2: If they knew how to listen, Michael, they wouldn't be
- 51:07Speaker 2: calling you.
- 51:09Speaker 1: So the Dad Olympics, We've got the Dad Olympics coming
- 51:11Speaker 1: up on Thursday, June eighteenth over at the Boulevard. Okay,
- 51:15Speaker 1: that is the Thursday before the Dad before Father's Day,
- 51:19Speaker 1: and we're gonna We're looking for twenty teams of dads
- 51:22Speaker 1: and their kids. Your kids do have to be under eighteen,
- 51:24Speaker 1: they have to be kids and they We're gonna compete
- 51:28Speaker 1: in four events. We're gonna compete in laser tag or
- 51:32Speaker 1: vision of laser tag.
- 51:33Speaker 2: We're gonna do some ski ball, We're gonna do.
- 51:35Speaker 1: Some bowling version of bowling. We're also gonna do the
- 51:41Speaker 1: rope course that they have up there. So the Boulevard,
- 51:43Speaker 1: if you haven't been there, it's a great place to
- 51:45Speaker 1: go with your kids and have a good time, good food,
- 51:47Speaker 1: cold beer, video games, all that good stuff bowling, so
- 51:53Speaker 1: we're gonna be there for that. And this Dad Olympics
- 51:56Speaker 1: might be turning out better than I think. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven.
- 52:02Speaker 2: So I need twenty teams. I'm about at eleven now.
- 52:05Speaker 1: And winner's gonna get a brand new barbecue. There's a
- 52:10Speaker 1: first place prize pack, but first place is a brand
- 52:14Speaker 1: new barbecue from the bulkyard. And we're also gonna throw
- 52:17Speaker 1: in some Meca Nutrition gift certificates, Fresco Mexican Meat Market
- 52:21Speaker 1: and grill got some gift certificates, Current Oil Change gonna
- 52:24Speaker 1: give you some gift certificates for oil changes services things
- 52:27Speaker 1: like that.
- 52:28Speaker 2: What am I missing?
- 52:29Speaker 1: I know I'm missing something, but anyway, so it's a
- 52:33Speaker 1: big prize pack for dads, second, first, second, and third,
- 52:38Speaker 1: and I've been signing dads up, so I guess all
- 52:41Speaker 1: it gets. Let me just double check what the prizes
- 52:45Speaker 1: are again. I don't want to miss anybody. Yeah, Mecca,
- 52:49Speaker 1: Fresco Mexican Gil, Fresco Mexican Meat Market, corn, Current Oil
- 52:53Speaker 1: Change Okay, so.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Yeah, So and then of course the boulevard.
- 52:58Speaker 1: Dads want to be a part of it, and You've
- 52:59Speaker 1: been next to me to see if you can still
- 53:01Speaker 1: be a part of it.
- 53:02Speaker 2: So let me see what you sent me.
- 53:05Speaker 1: Hey, Rome, if you're still taking dads for the competition,
- 53:08Speaker 1: sign me and my son up. Please Seejy and Andrew.
- 53:13Speaker 1: All right, you guys are in CJ. I'm assuming Dad's
- 53:17Speaker 1: name is CJ, So CJ. I'm gonna I'm gonna write
- 53:20Speaker 1: your phone number down, the one that you texted me with,
- 53:23Speaker 1: and you're in. Now.
- 53:25Speaker 2: The contest is gonna.
- 53:26Speaker 1: Go from seven thirty to ten seven thirty am to
- 53:33Speaker 1: ten am on Thursday.
- 53:35Speaker 2: June eighteenth, over at the Boulevard.
- 53:38Speaker 1: Okay, I want to make sure you guys know it's
- 53:40Speaker 1: an early morning thing, so you guys will come down
- 53:43Speaker 1: Dad Olympics. Sign me up Rome for the Dad Olympics.
- 53:46Speaker 1: Jonathan and Brandon. Yep, Jonathan and Brandon.
- 53:49Speaker 2: You are in. So now what did I say?
- 53:52Speaker 8: Now?
- 53:52Speaker 1: I got thirteen huh thirteen teams.
- 53:56Speaker 2: I need twenty. We don't need to get them all today.
- 53:58Speaker 1: We got until the seventeenth to sign you guys all up.
- 54:01Speaker 2: But yeah, I want to let you guys play. But
- 54:04Speaker 2: once once I.
- 54:06Speaker 1: Get my uh, once I get my twenty teams, I
- 54:10Speaker 1: can't let you guys in.
- 54:11Speaker 2: You just have to come down and watch and hang
- 54:12Speaker 2: out with us, all right.
- 54:14Speaker 1: So I was watching some videos earlier today about the
- 54:17Speaker 1: Knicks fans right the next very impressive with what they did,
- 54:23Speaker 1: and very impressive with what what happened last night at
- 54:29Speaker 1: the at the next game in the NBA Finals. Uh,
- 54:34Speaker 1: Richie and Little Ritchie, do you guys want to participate?
- 54:37Speaker 1: They just sent me two names, Richie and Little I
- 54:39Speaker 1: don't know what that means. I don't know what you're
- 54:41Speaker 1: asking me. So things that all their fans are fake, right,
- 54:47Speaker 1: And I will tell you this that there, I believe
- 54:50Speaker 1: that we're all those fans that were sided in celebrity
- 54:53Speaker 1: row and wherever they put them.
- 54:55Speaker 2: I one percent believed the fans unlike Los Angeles.
- 54:59Speaker 1: I think on jan Los Angeles is the most trendy
- 55:02Speaker 1: fake losers on the planet. But I believe they were
- 55:06Speaker 1: real fans. And so they were. I was watching a
- 55:08Speaker 1: video they were asking of all the fans they are
- 55:10Speaker 1: like Taylor Swift was there. I think Taylor Swift goes
- 55:12Speaker 1: to the Knicks games even when they're not.
- 55:14Speaker 2: In the in the spotlight.
- 55:18Speaker 7: Uh.
- 55:19Speaker 1: And and they were talking about who was the fakest
- 55:20Speaker 1: FN there. Some idiot had the nerve to say Spike Lee.
- 55:25Speaker 1: Spike Lee pays for his tickets. For those of you
- 55:27Speaker 1: that don't know those, a lot of those celebrities get
- 55:30Speaker 1: free tickets, but they have a lot of rules they
- 55:32Speaker 1: got to follow to get those free tickets. Spike Lee
- 55:34Speaker 1: pays for his season tickets. Okay, so Spike Lee has
- 55:39Speaker 1: been a fan of the Knicks forever. He is the
- 55:40Speaker 1: ultimate fan of the Knicks, if you're going to ask anybody.
- 55:45Speaker 2: But they said Kylie Jenner.
- 55:46Speaker 1: And this is why I wanted to say this, because
- 55:48Speaker 1: they were talking, well, Timothy Chalome he's a fake fan,
- 55:51Speaker 1: and Kylie Jenner. And then they said, well, Kylie Jenner's
- 55:56Speaker 1: a third thing. I don't think Timothy Schallomet is a
- 56:00Speaker 1: fake fan. I think he is a young fan who
- 56:04Speaker 1: can now uh he can now afford to go sit
- 56:13Speaker 1: there an he's famous. But I don't think Kylie Jenner
- 56:17Speaker 1: is a fan of the Knicks. I think she's a
- 56:18Speaker 1: fan of her boyfriend. And I think it's funny how
- 56:24Speaker 1: ignorant people get online and say ignorant things.
- 56:28Speaker 2: Well, she's, of course she's not a real fan. She's
- 56:30Speaker 2: a California girl. I don't even know that she's.
- 56:32Speaker 1: A sports fan, to be honest with you, of any sport.
- 56:35Speaker 1: But her boyfriend is, so, what are you gonna do?
- 56:39Speaker 1: What do you what would you do? Let me ask
- 56:40Speaker 1: you this question. What are you supposed to do? You're
- 56:44Speaker 1: a huge fan of something, right, you're a huge fan
- 56:48Speaker 1: of I don't know. You will pick your team and
- 56:50Speaker 1: then you go and get married.
- 56:52Speaker 2: What are you supposed to do?
- 56:53Speaker 1: Not take your wife, not take your girlfriend to to to.
- 56:59Speaker 2: What turned out to be one of the I wish
- 57:02Speaker 2: I was.
- 57:02Speaker 1: At the at Madison Square Garden last night, and I
- 57:05Speaker 1: want both those teams to lose, but I wish I
- 57:09Speaker 1: was there to just to experience that what are you
- 57:11Speaker 1: supposed to do?
- 57:13Speaker 9: Look?
- 57:13Speaker 1: Man, you could be a fan by association. And my
- 57:17Speaker 1: best friend called me and said, hey, bro, I got
- 57:19Speaker 1: tickets to the Knicks. Let's go check them out. Okay,
- 57:22Speaker 1: let's go. Oh Romeo is a fake ass fan.
- 57:25Speaker 2: No, I'm not.
- 57:25Speaker 1: I'm a fan of being involved in stuff that's fun,
- 57:29Speaker 1: that looks like fun. I don't like the Dodgers, but
- 57:32Speaker 1: I love going to watch Dodger games because it where well.
- 57:35Speaker 1: Also because Daniel Rodriguez got some amazing seats, and I
- 57:39Speaker 1: sit with all those people and have an amazing time.
- 57:42Speaker 2: There's so much fun and I don't care if the
- 57:45Speaker 2: Dodgers win or lose. You know, it's just about so
- 57:50Speaker 2: I'm sick of this, you know.
- 57:52Speaker 1: Yeah, anyway, what did you send me here? Eight four
- 57:55Speaker 1: two post four or seven to seven? What up?
- 57:57Speaker 8: Rome?
- 57:58Speaker 1: As a parent, do you think it's easier to raise
- 58:01Speaker 1: a boy than a girl?
- 58:04Speaker 4: Uh?
- 58:04Speaker 2: Yeah, it's easier to raise a boy than a girl.
- 58:08Speaker 2: Why why would you ask me that question?
- 58:13Speaker 1: Boys are far easier to raise than girls, absolutely, especially
- 58:16Speaker 1: with today's drama filled social media. Everybody wants to be
- 58:20Speaker 1: an influencer. Nonsentence, Yeah, I would say it's one hundred
- 58:24Speaker 1: per easier to raise a boy than a girl, especially
- 58:29Speaker 1: especially in today's society. Maybe thirty years ago as a
- 58:32Speaker 1: fifty to fifty about the same.
- 58:34Speaker 5: But no, yes, oh my gosh, so they the girl
- 58:40Speaker 5: is so much harder to deal with, knowing I have
- 58:44Speaker 5: a sixteen year old and I've started over and I
- 58:47Speaker 5: have now have.
- 58:48Speaker 6: A two year old.
- 58:49Speaker 8: It's so much easier than my sixteen year old, even
- 58:54Speaker 8: though they have the difference.
- 58:56Speaker 5: But you're right, that's society of she wants, he.
- 59:00Speaker 8: Wants all this stuff, and I'm like, and my nephews
- 59:05Speaker 8: are so different, and I'm like, they don't want none
- 59:08Speaker 8: of that. I'm just like I And then I'm having
- 59:11Speaker 8: another girl, and I'm like, I'm not the positical for
- 59:13Speaker 8: I wanted another Boys.
- 59:15Speaker 5: Boys are terrible, don't get me wrong.
- 59:18Speaker 8: But but girls, their attitudes, their attitude for me.
- 59:23Speaker 1: Do you let me ask you this question though. Do
- 59:25Speaker 1: you think that in the eighties girls were harder to
- 59:29Speaker 1: raise the voice?
- 59:31Speaker 10: I don't think so.
- 59:33Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think so either. I think today's it's easier.
- 59:36Speaker 5: Yeah, because they were raised different.
- 59:39Speaker 8: It's like, okay, they do what they have to do,
- 59:41Speaker 8: you know, so they're trained different. And then it's some
- 59:46Speaker 8: mothers that's that's, you.
- 59:48Speaker 5: Know, teaching them too. So okay, I mean it comes
- 59:52Speaker 5: with it starts from home, like they say.
- 59:55Speaker 1: So I agree with you, but I think I think
- 59:57Speaker 1: it's far worse today for for for girls to raise
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: girls just because of just because of social media, just
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: because of what's going on.
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: With social media and all the drama. But he says,
- 1:00:07Speaker 5: she's saying, like this boy, yeah, so.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: Much, so much all appreciate it, you do. Yeah, I
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: think she's right. I think.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Before I think when it comes to raising kids, before
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: social media, girls were probably easier or probably about the
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: same as boys. But after social media, it's probably much
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: harder to.
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: Raise girls Promeo.
- 1:00:32Speaker 12: So you still talking about the girls or the voice easier?
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: Yeah, what's up?
- 1:00:38Speaker 7: But like, in what aspect are we talking easier?
- 1:00:41Speaker 12: Because I have four boys, I don't have daughters, but
- 1:00:45Speaker 12: I do know my friend she has all girls, no
- 1:00:49Speaker 12: no sense. So I'm like, you know, comparing apples to apples.
- 1:00:52Speaker 8: But it's like, in what aspects.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: Are they easier?
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: Do you think the boys?
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: Oh?
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: Well, I just think boys bring lesson drama to the party.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: They might bring more chaos and more headaches and more
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: nonsense in a sense of because they do goofy things,
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: you know, and they get they get into you know,
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: they jump around a lot, so to.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: Speak, and get in the messages.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: But women just bring emotional drama to the table for
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: no reason all the time.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: I mean, you know, you women are emotional lucky.
- 1:01:24Speaker 12: I need that emotional drama. I'm like, it's so fun
- 1:01:30Speaker 12: me here, like it's so like my boys, that's so
- 1:01:32Speaker 12: bored well, yeah, they're boring. I guess that is that
- 1:01:35Speaker 12: is easier, right because they're boring, but uh, they're expensive,
- 1:01:38Speaker 12: like the food like she was talking to the girl earlier,
- 1:01:41Speaker 12: was talking about they want the girls want you Cattoo's it,
- 1:01:44Speaker 12: you know, but the boys they eat a lot.
- 1:01:45Speaker 10: And then also like you know, you can.
- 1:01:48Speaker 12: Go to like the sort like Forever twenty one and
- 1:01:50Speaker 12: like get you know, a que outfit for a reasonable price,
- 1:01:53Speaker 12: but the boys they want like that name brand.
- 1:01:56Speaker 6: That's you know what, You're right.
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: I'm not going to argue with you. You're absolutely right,
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: but I was gonna.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: Say, you know how you know how you women are
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: with your emotional drama, and then you had to say
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: that's what I missed, emotional drama.
- 1:02:09Speaker 12: I think that's what I'm walking in my household is
- 1:02:11Speaker 12: because it's like I'm like, man, like what to her hospital,
- 1:02:14Speaker 12: She's like so annoyed about surgeons. It's so frustrating for her.
- 1:02:18Speaker 12: But like you know, I'm me, I'm like, wow, it's
- 1:02:20Speaker 12: so aliab over here.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: Four two five, four seven seven. Somebody asked me if
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: it was easier to raise a boy or a girl,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: and I would say yes. In today's society. It's easier
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: to raise a boy than it is to raise a girl.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: But social media really does screw uh, you know, really
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: does throw a monkey wrench into the program with all
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: these girls trying to be you know, influencers or never
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: getting a break from the drama of just being a girl.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: You know.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: And and this.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: Is what somebody said, Hey, rom that girl who just
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: called talking about she has all boys and her friend
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: has all girls. Did she say she misses the drama
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: of being a girl. Yeah, that's what she said. That
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: and that and that's why I say it's not it's
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: it's harder to raise girls. But part of the problem is,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: as it comes to this, I think there's a lot
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: of moms out there that like the drama that they
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: missed that high school, that popular girl, that mean girl
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: that this boy likes, that boy type drama that is created.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: And I think I think there's a lot, especially in Rosdale,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: I think a lot of those moms live vicariously through
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: the through the drama of their girls, you know, And
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: I think they like it, you know.
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: But yeah, but I but I do.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: I do want to say this though I do think
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: that it was it has changed. I think that raising
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: raising kids, and so let's say the seventies, eighties, even
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: the nineties was uh, was probably about the same no
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: matter what gender they were. But once we've reached this
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: Internet era and this social media era and this influencer era,
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: and this idea that these girls cannot get away from
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: the drama at school because it's all over social media.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: Their boyfriend went.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: Out with this girl, that was hanging out with that girl,
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: and that just is thrown in their face because they're
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: always following each other. I think that's really when it's changed,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: that they're uh that girls are harder.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: To raise, all right, e four two four seven to seven?
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: What did he say? I mean this is a.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: Uh yeah, yeah, So I don't I don't know. I
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: just think boys, I mean, even though boys eat more,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: boys are are a little less dramatic. They might, you know,
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: you might want to up your insurance because your boys.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: But Na, the girls are far harder to raise.
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: Hey, Romeo, I just want to say I one hundred
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: percent agree with you. I have two daughters and a
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: son and he's in the middle.
- 1:05:10Speaker 5: That kid, he's so easy.
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: That girl.
- 1:05:14Speaker 8: I take blood pressure medication.
- 1:05:15Speaker 12: So now.
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: How old they get older, it doesn't get any better.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: How old are your daughters?
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: So they're twenty two now and sixteen, and my son's nineteen.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: At what point did the daughters become harder to raise?
- 1:05:29Speaker 15: At?
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: What age?
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: I say, around when they started in middle school?
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: Okay? Yeah, yeah, okay.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: They were just sweet angels from when they were born
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: till about what ten eleven?
- 1:05:41Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 1:05:42Speaker 8: Okay, yeah, I love them so much.
- 1:05:47Speaker 10: So, but I get it.
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: I get it hard.
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: They are hard, and.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: You said they're still hard even. How's the twenty one
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: year old now? Does she still live with you?
- 1:05:56Speaker 12: Yeah?
- 1:05:56Speaker 10: She went to college.
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: Oh sure, I.
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: Say, and it was, you know, a bit mud you know,
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: just like so she came back home. But now she's,
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: you know, living her best life back home and trying
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: to figure it out. And as attorney for her, so
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: I think that's kind of helping her.
- 1:06:12Speaker 6: Oh good goods?
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: All right, well perfect, Well thanks for coming. I appreciate it.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: Yeah, girls are easy to raise when they're running around
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: in their uh, in their little addresses and Tutuo's loving
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: on you just.
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: Wanted to hang out.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: But once they hit that middle school, huh, that's when
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: you gotta worry about them. Already four, two, five, four,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: seven to seven. Ego, Morning, Romeo, You'll be surprised at
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: the amount of dudes out here gossiping being more dramatic
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: than of females. I prefer my female friends because they
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: more straight up than most guys.
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: Okay, Romeo, these girls they're built different. There's something else crazy.
- 1:06:55Speaker 7: I'm scared.
- 1:06:55Speaker 10: Help me.
- 1:06:56Speaker 7: I have two and okay, I have I have a
- 1:06:59Speaker 7: seven year old, sleetest little girl ever angel, and I
- 1:07:04Speaker 7: have a twelve year old. I don't know who.
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: Hurt her, but she's hurting all of us.
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: Really wake her up.
- 1:07:12Speaker 7: I have to wake her up, Romeo, for school in
- 1:07:15Speaker 7: the sweetest way, like good morning, beautiful, it's gonna be
- 1:07:19Speaker 7: such a nice day, you know, like trying to start
- 1:07:22Speaker 7: off right, and it's wrong.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: That is wrong. You should wake her up like my
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: mom used to wake me up. Get your ass up.
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: You're good. You missed that bus. It's gonna be your
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: ass because I got drinken.
- 1:07:33Speaker 7: This was my first that was my first way. That
- 1:07:36Speaker 7: was the way I would wake her up, and oh
- 1:07:38Speaker 7: my god, it was hell for everybody.
- 1:07:40Speaker 10: And now hard.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: No, you gotta see, I'm gonna say this and this
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: is why I think that, you guys, it's harder for
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: girls today is because back in the day, most parents
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: kind of treated their girls like their boys and kind
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: of treated them both the same way when it came
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: to certain sense. They didn't really entitle them when it
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: came to some of the basics of life.
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: And nowadays it's changed.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: I think that, Yeah, I think you moms and dads
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: need to step up your game.
- 1:08:12Speaker 7: Yeah, honestly, I don't remember being like that when I
- 1:08:15Speaker 7: was that age, and I and I tell my mom my, mom.
- 1:08:17Speaker 4: Would stay blacker, you know exactly.
- 1:08:21Speaker 10: And yeah, I just.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: I just I think here's what I think, And this
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: could be completely wrong. I think boys still have a
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: fear of their parents to a certain extent.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: I don't think girls do it all anymore. Now that's
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: that's over, you know.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: I just think the way society has changed over the decades,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: that girls don't have that same fear as boys still
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: do of their parents. And I'm not saying and I'm
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: not saying you got to touch your kids. I'm just
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: saying there is an installed fear that and we know
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: it because we're still afraid of ours to an extent,
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: even though they're old and we could whoop their ass.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: We're still afraid of them to an extent. And so
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: I just don't think. I think girls that's that's lost.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: They don't fear their parents at all anymore.
- 1:09:12Speaker 7: But you know what, Romeo, even with that little ass
- 1:09:14Speaker 7: with them, it's like it's nothing to them. Now. You say,
- 1:09:18Speaker 7: give me your tablet, give me your eyes, want to
- 1:09:20Speaker 7: give me all that? My god?
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: Oh man, you.
- 1:09:26Speaker 7: I don't the door for you matter if you don't
- 1:09:29Speaker 7: call John down that street, that homeless.
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: You up, Oh god, holding that sign, If.
- 1:09:36Speaker 7: That's what you're gonna do, that's where you're gonna end up.
- 1:09:39Speaker 7: So yeah, it's hard hard, And I give it to.
- 1:09:42Speaker 4: All those parents right now raising teens because it's wrong
- 1:09:46Speaker 4: where I went wrong, and I'm paying for it right now.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: You didn't go wrong yet. You just you'll get it together,
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: don't worry you all right, you'll figure it out.
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: All right, you'll figure it out. I mean.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: They'll figure it out already. Four two four or seven seven?
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: Would you send me here, yo, Romano? Raising kids is
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: only hard as you make it doesn't.
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: Matter boy or girl.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: The younger generation having kids is worried about being friends
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: with their kids before being parents. That's why they think
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: it's hard because when they try and discipline their kids,
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: they don't listen. Yeah, I think that's a fair, a
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: fair statement to make.
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: I do believe that.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: I mean, I never my parents were never trying to
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: be my friends. But to be fair, we didn't have
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: a lot in common. You know, my parents and I,
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: me and my mother and father did not have a
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: lot of common until I grew up and got older,
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: and now we do have things in common and we
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: do get along very well. We always got along real well.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: But they were always the parent. What they said goes,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: And you're right, there is some there is some abalidity
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: to what you're saying about trying to be somebody's friend.
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: You know, in this whole idea of.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: Remember growing up, when it was your parents' house, their
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: rules were, you had to abide by their rules. You
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: didn't have any say in the house because well, and
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: you're right, this is not gender biased. You didn't have
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: any rules in the house because you didn't pay the bills.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: How many times you remember hearing that from your mom
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: and your dad. You don't pay nothing for this house.
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: You get what you get. Now, you got to a.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: Point where you're making four dinners for three different people
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: because you know, back in my day, you ate what
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: your mom made or you did not eat.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: It was that simple. It was that black and white.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: I guess a lot of people today, I guess think
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: that's wrong. It's not wrong, you know, So I guess
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: you're right. You're trying to be a friend. You're trying to,
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: you know, let your kids have an opinion when they're
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: too stupid to or uneducated on the issue, but you're
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: still going to let them have an opinion about it. So, yeah,
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: you're right, trying to be trying to treat your kids
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: like friends. That's a.
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: You might be right about that.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: I don't think you can discount what you just said
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: already four two five.
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: Four seven to seven yo.
- 1:12:11Speaker 10: Rome.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: You were talking about what's harder raising boys or girls
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: or what's easier?
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: Raising boys is way easier. I got one.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: Example for you. I have a son who is nineteen
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: years old. He got his car at sixteen. He has
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: never gotten lost coming home, always figured out how to
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: get home, and with GPS, how do you not know
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: how to get home? My daughter yesterday called me not
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: really sure where we live now? She's sixteen years old,
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: just got her license a couple of months ago. I
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: don't know where she went or how she got lost,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: but she has a car with GPS.
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: I don't even know how that happens.
- 1:12:52Speaker 9: Rome.
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: So yes, it's easier to raise boys.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: Oh my god, I will tell you something about getting lost.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: I Bakersfield is the first city I've ever lived in
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: where I have met people that have lived her their
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: entire life and have gotten lost driving around town. It's
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: craziest thing, the craziest thing I ever seen.
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: I have first time ever in my life. I've had
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: that happen to me already fourteen, five, four, seven and seven.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: Although with GPS, nobody should ever get lost, right, all right,
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: that's got it funny though It's not that.
- 1:13:34Speaker 13: Jesse was up the time.
- 1:13:36Speaker 10: I've just got back to the lot of state. I
- 1:13:37Speaker 10: have a plus.
- 1:13:38Speaker 15: I saw about raging kids, Man, rage keys is hard.
- 1:13:41Speaker 15: I I raised a lot of turkeys, animal the pigs,
- 1:13:44Speaker 15: and it's a lot better than raking kids. And they
- 1:13:47Speaker 15: act up there we have dinner. Got I do that
- 1:13:51Speaker 15: with kids, man, they have more right there.
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: Oh my god, Jesse.
- 1:13:56Speaker 15: Lost away, man, you do it to do a hard
- 1:14:02Speaker 15: time what you're in for, man, two year old collars
- 1:14:09Speaker 15: doing time. It's a lot easier ray to animals, that
- 1:14:12Speaker 15: for sure. Right the way is it is a tight
- 1:14:19Speaker 15: for living.
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: Now, I got you brother, Thanks for calling, all right,
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: he said, what are you in for? I took the
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: iPad away from my six year old. You got six
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: months for that.
- 1:14:31Speaker 10: Hey, we'll talk, wrong, man, I think it's it's it's
- 1:14:34Speaker 10: easy to raise girls.
- 1:14:36Speaker 4: Rome.
- 1:14:36Speaker 10: You know, I got my six daughters, no boys. But
- 1:14:39Speaker 10: one year I coached the boys team. And I'll tell
- 1:14:41Speaker 10: you what I'm sure of that I had nothing about girls.
- 1:14:45Speaker 10: These boys are top room. They complained, they cry, they
- 1:14:47Speaker 10: whine about everything. Girl, they're ready to let's do it.
- 1:14:50Speaker 10: Let's get it done.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: Maybe from an athletic standpoint, the boys the girls might
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: be a little more compet and a little more But no,
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: not in the real world.
- 1:15:04Speaker 9: No, I don't know.
- 1:15:05Speaker 10: Wrong, but even out here like we both play.
- 1:15:08Speaker 14: Like we go to the beach, roam, we go to
- 1:15:10Speaker 14: the beach, and my nephew boat with us. He's crying
- 1:15:12Speaker 14: about the fans and all that in his ears. He
- 1:15:15Speaker 14: wants to go back to the hotel, or or he
- 1:15:17Speaker 14: wants to stay at a hotel.
- 1:15:19Speaker 10: My kids over.
- 1:15:19Speaker 14: There burying themselves in the fan room and everything. Want
- 1:15:22Speaker 14: to sleep in a tent at the Toy Hollers, you
- 1:15:24Speaker 14: know what I mean, Like, I just I just think
- 1:15:26Speaker 14: girls are way easier.
- 1:15:28Speaker 10: They're way a way I'm going on the boys. There's
- 1:15:31Speaker 10: just a lot of baby Lolas. Man.
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: Okay, all right, all right, really a man.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: I mean, you're one hundred percent wrong, But okay, that's
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: your experience though, that's your journey, all the morning, every morning.
- 1:15:45Speaker 10: Marching four, one
