  It's now Friday, January 24th, 2025.

  I'm recording this at 6.35 in the morning, which will air at 7.30, hopefully, a.m.

  And I just wanted to start off by thanking you for your thoughts and prayers.

  I am on my way to work this morning, like all of you.
• 0:27
  And still a little bit weak, but not as weak as I've been.
• 0:32
  So every day I've seen an increase in energy and I'm feeling better each day.
• 0:39
  You know, God is providing me with, you know, so much that I need right now.
• 0:45
  And all your prayers and your thoughts mean a great deal.
• 0:48
  I want to give a shout out to Denise for texting me and showing me her support
• 0:52
  and to Carol for her voice message.

  It was beautiful. Thank you so much. was definitely what I needed.

  And everyone out there in Half 8 Let It Begin that continues to pray for me,

  So again, you know, the whole update is quite simple.

  If you're just joining us today, I had food poisoning and it really took its toll on me.
• 1:25
  And yeah, just, you know, your stomach is really not the same when you,
• 1:30
  when you go through this,
• 1:31
  it's almost as if it's like a giant reboot and you have to like reintroduce
• 1:35
  food to your stomach and you start realizing really quickly what the stomach
• 1:42
  can actually handle when it's fragile.
• 1:45
  And so yogurt's been okay.
• 1:47
  And thank God for diet ginger ale and you
• 1:50
  know yeah little things here little things
• 1:53
  there I had a little piece of toast with butter just trying
• 1:56
  to reach introduce food as best I can but today's
• 1:59
  message that I wanted to bring up to
• 2:02
  you is something that I'm really I'm really learning and as I learn more about
• 2:08
  the book of Matthew in my studies for ministry you know the importance about
• 2:14
  how much God loves us and our faith and our strength and everything that, you know,
• 2:22
  our relationship with Christ is all about.
• 2:26
  And, you know, it's true what they say, you know, when you are at your,
• 2:29
  when you feel like you're at your lowest, you know, you will reach out to God
• 2:33
  and say, oh my goodness, you know, Lord, I'm going to need your help here.
• 2:37
  I really going to need your help. I know, I know that I, that you have so much
• 2:41
  on your plate, God, but if you can just spare a few seconds for me,
• 2:45
  I could use your help. I could use your strength.
• 2:49
  And it's funny. One of the things that happened yesterday was,
• 2:52
  as you know, I was in the parking lot getting ready to go to work.
• 2:55
  And I realized that I didn't, I wasn't scheduled to work yesterday.
• 3:00
  So I said, you know what? Thank God. I'm going to go home. I'm going to rest. I got home.
• 3:05
  Everybody was still asleep. I jumped into bed. And about 30 minutes later,
• 3:10
  we find out that my mother-in-law had a flat tire.
• 3:13
  So I sat there in bed. I'm like, okay, I can't let her have a flat tire.
• 3:18
  So I'm going to, I'm going to need the energy I need to get up.
• 3:21
  And let me tell you, within seconds, within minutes, God provided me with this
• 3:29
  energy that I never thought I could get in a matter of seconds.
• 3:34
  But sure enough, he was there and he provided me with this, I don't even know
• 3:41
  how to explain it, but it was like this pill of energy.
• 3:44
  And I got up and And, you know, ended up being a half day's thing where the
• 3:51
  flat tire needed to be towed. And we got the job done.
• 3:54
  And by the time I got home, I was drained.
• 3:57
  But I had the energy to do all that I could to help out my mother-in-law and
• 4:01
  make sure she was taken care of.
• 4:03
  And then I had a three-hour nap with Noah. And when I got up,
• 4:08
  my wife's car wouldn't start.
• 4:10
  So we had to take my wife's car to the shop because her car broke down.
• 4:16
  So yeah it was it was
• 4:19
  a long day yesterday but by the grace of
• 4:22
  god he provided me with some strength and the
• 4:25
  kids slept through the night today is noah's birthday
• 4:28
  i would have loved to have done a more formal birthday episode for noah so my
• 4:34
  son turns three today and and i have a little bit more energy today so i'm very
• 4:39
  grateful so this is the the message for you today believe and trust in your faith.
• 4:46
  Understand that God does answer prayers. He doesn't answer them directly.
• 4:51
  Sometimes the way we would love to. I'm not knocking God for that. Not by any means.
• 4:56
  I'm just saying that sometimes when you, it's not like you ask and boom,
• 4:59
  but when you do ask, you do receive.
• 5:03
  It's just got to be a little bit patient and understand that it's in God's time.
• 5:08
  And one way or another, when he does answer your prayer, it could come fast.
• 5:13
  It could come a day or two days. It could come a year.
• 5:16
  But when it comes, you sit back and go, okay, I know why he waited.
• 5:20
  I know why he activated. I know why he was here. I know why he did what he did.
• 5:25
  So my prayer for you is this. May God continue to lift you up in prayer.
• 5:29
  May God continue to be with you and to guide you.
• 5:32
  May God remember that he knows, actually may all of you remember that God knows
• 5:38
  who you are and that God wants to be a part of your life.
• 5:42
  So if you just listen to this show because you like my episodes and you think

  that they're fun and they're entertainment, that's great.

  But also realize that you're here for a reason and God has put you here for
• 5:53
  a purpose. and I'm hoping and praying that our message today reaches home to you.

  support decisions that you make make good choices and no matter what you do,

  daddy will always be here with you. I love you, my son.
