- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: It's Almost Famous podcast, and I'm back today bringing you
- 0:09Speaker 2: all the latest happenings in Bachelor Nation. Today producer Heather
- 0:13Speaker 2: is going to join me to break down all of
- 0:16Speaker 2: these headlines. We're very lucky to have Heather with us
- 0:18Speaker 2: today because she is the one that puts these together
- 0:21Speaker 2: for us, so she is an expert in all things
- 0:25Speaker 2: Bachelor Nation right now, Heather, do you feel ready?
- 0:29Speaker 1: Ben?
- 0:30Speaker 3: You give me too much credit?
- 0:32Speaker 4: I would say yeah, I feel motivated and ready and
- 0:37Speaker 4: lots to cover today in Bachelor Nation, That's for sure.
- 0:40Speaker 2: There is some of the things I'm most excited about.
- 0:44Speaker 2: It's going to be talking about not only new life
- 0:46Speaker 2: being brought into Bachelornation, but also the New York City Marathon,
- 0:50Speaker 2: which is this weekend. And I am increasingly impressed with
- 0:53Speaker 2: people that run a marathon, and I might have to
- 0:57Speaker 2: commit to doing it next year because I've been vs
- 1:00Speaker 2: the last two years of those who do it.
- 1:04Speaker 4: Literally was going to be my number one question for
- 1:06Speaker 4: you is if you've ever ran a marathon or you
- 1:08Speaker 4: have any desire, especially when we get to it. What's
- 1:12Speaker 4: kind of been made public after I'm wondering how you
- 1:15Speaker 4: feel about that?
- 1:16Speaker 2: Yeah, it's I don't know if I could answer and
- 1:20Speaker 2: have a desire. We'll kick it off with this. The
- 1:22Speaker 2: New York City Marathon was this last weekend. It happened
- 1:26Speaker 2: on Sunday. We had a ton of Bachelor Nation stars participate.
- 1:32Speaker 2: One of them who has done it consistently and I've
- 1:34Speaker 2: always admired him as a person. I've gotten to know
- 1:37Speaker 2: him personally. His story had multiple dinners, and I've just
- 1:41Speaker 2: enjoyed sitting with him. He's rumored to be dating Caitlin Bristow.
- 1:46Speaker 2: We cannot confirm or deny that rumor, but Zach Clark
- 1:51Speaker 2: has I think, given me a very calm, not direct,
- 1:57Speaker 2: but a very consistent sales pitch to do this. If
- 2:01Speaker 2: you know the story, Heather, Zach Clark runs an incredible
- 2:05Speaker 2: rehab clinics in out East called Release Recovery, and running
- 2:13Speaker 2: has been a big part of his journey to recovery,
- 2:16Speaker 2: and he kind of brings in people that are a
- 2:18Speaker 2: part of his program to run it with him year
- 2:22Speaker 2: after year after year, which I think is so cool.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Like I think there's nothing cooler than when you find
- 2:27Speaker 2: a healthy habit something to like go after. But he's
- 2:31Speaker 2: brought more and more people from Bachelor Nation and kind
- 2:34Speaker 2: of his fear into the running world. And if you
- 2:38Speaker 2: sit with him for five minutes, you're going to be
- 2:40Speaker 2: convinced that running is the best thing ever and that
- 2:42Speaker 2: you should do it and it's cool. He's made running cool.
- 2:45Speaker 2: I don't know how, but he has. So let's break
- 2:50Speaker 2: this down, Heather. We had we do have a long
- 2:52Speaker 2: list of Bachelnation participants that did the New York City marathon,
- 2:56Speaker 2: So take it away.
- 2:58Speaker 4: So first one, Joey gars Day, uh, you know, was
- 3:02Speaker 4: out there also talking before the marathon that he, you know,
- 3:06Speaker 4: was feeling a little bit nervous and he was out
- 3:10Speaker 4: there running with Tanner or Ted am I saying that right, yeah, Anner.
- 3:16Speaker 4: And and then you know, obviously we had grocery store,
- 3:20Speaker 4: Joe was in there, Taysha Adams, Tyler Cameron, and Matt James.
- 3:27Speaker 4: You know a lot of the New York kind of
- 3:29Speaker 4: Bachelor Nation people that we tend to see a lot of.
- 3:32Speaker 4: But what really caught my eye was that this article
- 3:36Speaker 4: also released their running times.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:41Speaker 4: Does that for somebody who's contemplating being marathon runner? Does
- 3:46Speaker 4: that deter you a little bit, or I mean, what
- 3:49Speaker 4: I love to see here is clearly Zach is Uh
- 3:52Speaker 4: is a front runner in this Bachelor Nation group, which
- 3:55Speaker 4: I love that he is so passionate about running.
- 3:57Speaker 3: And he's a front runner.
- 3:59Speaker 4: It would make me a little bit nervous if I were,
- 4:02Speaker 4: you know, Tyler Cameron looking at the time.
- 4:06Speaker 2: He got beat by Tasha by almost an hour. Yeah,
- 4:11Speaker 2: I mean Zach Clark beat him by over two hours.
- 4:14Speaker 4: Maybe he stopped to take photos or you know. You
- 4:18Speaker 4: know what's so funny, I actually saw a TikTok that
- 4:21Speaker 4: somebody was doing a caviar stop. You could take a
- 4:24Speaker 4: caviar bomb on the side of the marathon.
- 4:28Speaker 2: It just I mean, honestly, to not like go into
- 4:31Speaker 2: like potty jokes. This isn't a joke, but like that
- 4:33Speaker 2: sounds very dangerous, Like your body is already freaking out
- 4:37Speaker 2: on itself and you're taking like I saw Matt James
- 4:41Speaker 2: eating a piece of pizza and I'm thinking, I know myself,
- 4:45Speaker 2: Like you're not running ten more miles with a pizza
- 4:48Speaker 2: pizza in your gut, right that.
- 4:50Speaker 3: That sounds like bomb dot com. Like you're definitely not
- 4:55Speaker 3: holding that down.
- 4:57Speaker 2: There are some good I mean, so Zach Clark kind
- 5:00Speaker 2: of goal he posted of three hours and ten minutes.
- 5:02Speaker 2: He ran it in three hours and twenty seven minutes,
- 5:04Speaker 2: which is still so impressive. I think that's like averaging
- 5:07Speaker 2: just over seven minutes a mile for twenty six miles.
- 5:12Speaker 2: There's like I was texting with the guys that ran
- 5:15Speaker 2: at last night and I was just telling him, Hey,
- 5:18Speaker 2: congrats and you guys, what are you doing to celebrate?
- 5:22Speaker 2: Joey and Tanner did the they called the party run,
- 5:26Speaker 2: I think is what they texted me, Like they they
- 5:28Speaker 2: stayed in the group that did stop that would like
- 5:31Speaker 2: talk to fans keep going. Zach, I think was a
- 5:34Speaker 2: little more intentional in his efforts of running. He tried
- 5:37Speaker 2: not to stop. I did see a lot of videos
- 5:40Speaker 2: of Matt James stopping along the way. He posted a
- 5:44Speaker 2: lot of them himself. Yet he still ran in three
- 5:46Speaker 2: hours and thirty one minutes, which I'm not shocked. He's
- 5:49Speaker 2: an incredible runner. Yeah, you can just look at him
- 5:51Speaker 2: like you can run fast for a long time. To
- 5:54Speaker 2: close this up, congratulations to everybody. One thing that did
- 5:58Speaker 2: come out of the race was there was a sighting
- 6:01Speaker 2: of Kelsey Anderson, Serena Pitt and Caitlyn Bristow at the race,
- 6:05Speaker 2: two of which are confirmed to be married or dating
- 6:08Speaker 2: a runner. Caitlin Bristow is the one that's not confirmed
- 6:11Speaker 2: to be dating a runner. So maybe she is just
- 6:14Speaker 2: a big fan of watching marathons.
- 6:16Speaker 3: That's what I think it is. Yeah, yeah, it's a
- 6:18Speaker 3: marathon fan.
- 6:20Speaker 2: She just loves to see people run, and so she
- 6:22Speaker 2: went to New York City to witness one of her
- 6:25Speaker 2: favorite events every year, which is the New York City Marathon.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Because well, there's no way that she's dating anybody in
- 6:33Speaker 2: this group.
- 6:34Speaker 4: No, I'm not going to see her, you know, lasen
- 6:36Speaker 4: up some sneakers for next year or anything.
- 6:38Speaker 3: You don't think.
- 6:40Speaker 2: I don't think. I actually don't think that would happened.
- 6:43Speaker 2: The winner of the New York City Marathon ran this thing,
- 6:47Speaker 2: and like he's he set the record at like two
- 6:49Speaker 2: hours and nineteen minutes, which means he averaged like a
- 6:52Speaker 2: five minute mile for twenty six miles. So outside of Bachelinnation,
- 6:57Speaker 2: I think we just need to like take a moment
- 6:59Speaker 2: of silence and say, well done. That's insane. I don't
- 7:04Speaker 2: get it. I don't think I could sprint a mile
- 7:08Speaker 2: as fast. As I could and make it to five
- 7:10Speaker 2: like I know I couldn't and go to get it
- 7:12Speaker 2: at five minutes. So to do that for twenty six
- 7:14Speaker 2: miles is absolutely ridiculous.
- 7:17Speaker 4: Yeah, the running is not my forte. I don't know her.
- 7:21Speaker 2: No, it's it's wild. But congrats all who did it
- 7:24Speaker 2: accomplished no matter what your time was, We're proud of
- 7:26Speaker 2: you here. Definitely it impressed with you here. Other headlines,
- 7:30Speaker 2: Bachelor Nations, Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs announced baby number two.
- 7:35Speaker 4: This was a cute announcement. Did you happen to see
- 7:38Speaker 4: it on Halloween? Like their son and like mixing up
- 7:41Speaker 4: something spooky or something's brewing is what it said. And
- 7:46Speaker 4: also since then, Becca has posted a little baby bump
- 7:50Speaker 4: picture of herself. Really cute, really happy for them and
- 7:55Speaker 4: their family brewing.
- 7:57Speaker 2: It's those are two people on big fans of and
- 8:01Speaker 2: it's been awesome to see their relationship not only just
- 8:05Speaker 2: blossom and continue to be awesome, but then also to
- 8:08Speaker 2: bring new life into this world. So congratulations to Thomas
- 8:11Speaker 2: and Becca. I haven't seen this until I read the
- 8:27Speaker 2: rundown of the headlines for this week, but a very
- 8:31Speaker 2: interesting story to kind of for all of us to
- 8:34Speaker 2: pay attention to, but also to support if you can.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Former bachelorette Michelle Young details health struggles. This comes kind
- 8:44Speaker 2: of following their honeymoon trip. There wasn't really pictures being
- 8:47Speaker 2: posted from their honeymoon, and Michelle explains why, and honestly,
- 8:54Speaker 2: it's heavy.
- 8:55Speaker 4: It's heavy, and it's scary right when you kind of
- 8:58Speaker 4: get into this, so she said, and so many of
- 9:00Speaker 4: you have asked about honeymoon photos. Jack and I love
- 9:04Speaker 4: the time we got to spend in Venice and Positano.
- 9:06Speaker 4: And then she says, but sadly, we had to end
- 9:08Speaker 4: our trip seven days early because my health couldn't keep up.
- 9:12Speaker 4: She continues, for the last eight months to a year,
- 9:15Speaker 4: I've been battling with extreme fatigue, brain fog, panic attacks,
- 9:20Speaker 4: heart palpitations, hypoglycemia, and pots like symptoms. After a number
- 9:26Speaker 4: of tests came back normal, we thought it could be
- 9:29Speaker 4: stress or anxiety with the wedding, But she's basically found
- 9:33Speaker 4: out that she's been severely exposed to mold, which is
- 9:40Speaker 4: really scary because it's not something that you see in
- 9:45Speaker 4: the air, right, like this is something wrapped in walls
- 9:48Speaker 4: or insulation or something wherever they were. And that's what's
- 9:52Speaker 4: really scary about it.
- 9:54Speaker 2: It's very scary, Heather. And this is you know, there's
- 9:58Speaker 2: some thing things out there that we just take too lightly.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Right now, lime disease being one of those. Right We've
- 10:05Speaker 2: talked about it here, people suffering from lime disease. It
- 10:09Speaker 2: is a just an incredibly difficult disease to deal with,
- 10:15Speaker 2: you know, mold exposure over metals exposure. Now, the good
- 10:20Speaker 2: part about the day and age we live in, there
- 10:22Speaker 2: are ways to help and kind of you know, cleanse
- 10:27Speaker 2: your body detox from some of these things. But mold
- 10:30Speaker 2: is very scary. It's something that everybody should take very seriously,
- 10:34Speaker 2: especially if you live by water. If you you know,
- 10:37Speaker 2: if you're in the mountains like me and Colorado where
- 10:39Speaker 2: it's super dry, not as much of an issue. There's
- 10:42Speaker 2: other issues. But if you're living by water and you're
- 10:45Speaker 2: feeling some of these symptoms, please go get checked out
- 10:49Speaker 2: and kind of note it to ask your doctor about
- 10:52Speaker 2: mold exposure. So we're again, let's go out. Let's support Michelle.
- 10:58Speaker 2: This is obviously goodness, Grace. I can't imagine going on
- 11:02Speaker 2: your honeymoon, getting married and then having to cut it
- 11:05Speaker 2: short due to this like that just feels defeating and
- 11:08Speaker 2: so let's rally behind her. So maybe they can go
- 11:11Speaker 2: on a second honeymoon, which will be just as sweet
- 11:14Speaker 2: and just as awesome, but she'll be feeling better during it.
- 11:17Speaker 4: And the silver lining is that they did just recently
- 11:20Speaker 4: move to a new house, so fingers crossed, you know
- 11:24Speaker 4: that that also helps her situation and it looks like
- 11:27Speaker 4: in her detoxing process, she's also going to be you know,
- 11:30Speaker 4: gluten and dairy free for a while.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Joan Vasso's Susan Knowles, Kathy Swartz, and Nancy Holkauer reunite
- 11:40Speaker 2: for a Golden Bachelor girl's trip. This is very sweet
- 11:46Speaker 2: and let's just say, from the almost famous podcast these
- 11:50Speaker 2: for our friends like when you're around them, This isn't
- 11:54Speaker 2: for show. This isn't because they want to get their
- 11:58Speaker 2: names out there. They really enjoy their time together and
- 12:03Speaker 2: to be a fly on the wall, it would be
- 12:06Speaker 2: X rated and also absolutely ridiculous if somebody were to
- 12:11Speaker 2: watch that just as a TV show.
- 12:13Speaker 4: Can I say I felt a little bit of fomo
- 12:15Speaker 4: when I saw the social clips from this because I
- 12:18Speaker 4: have hung out with all these ladies and they are
- 12:21Speaker 4: a good time, you know, so I loved it. We
- 12:24Speaker 4: recently saw Ray Ashley had her girls reunion trip with
- 12:27Speaker 4: the guys for the girls from Chris Soul's season, and
- 12:30Speaker 4: now seeing like the Goldens doing it too, I'm like,
- 12:33Speaker 4: you're never too old for a girls trip, Like that's
- 12:36Speaker 4: what's so fun about this, And I love that they
- 12:38Speaker 4: were kind of sharing it with all of us too.
- 12:41Speaker 2: I mean, is there anything more sacred than like breaking
- 12:43Speaker 2: bread and spending time with somebody else In a world
- 12:46Speaker 2: where we're so disconnected, where we feel like our communities
- 12:50Speaker 2: have been shattered, where we don't know where to reach
- 12:52Speaker 2: out for community and friendship, these intentional gatherings are so good,
- 12:59Speaker 2: Like they're so good and they're fun to witness, and
- 13:02Speaker 2: I'm with you. There was a moment when I saw
- 13:04Speaker 2: on social media. I was upset. I was like, why
- 13:06Speaker 2: wasn't I invited? I should be there?
- 13:09Speaker 4: Do you do that with any of the guys from
- 13:11Speaker 4: your season when you were on or is that something
- 13:13Speaker 4: you've thought about? I know you do your golf trips
- 13:15Speaker 4: and stuff like that, which are obviously very fun, but
- 13:18Speaker 4: would you guys ever do like some kind of bonding
- 13:22Speaker 4: weekend like this?
- 13:24Speaker 2: Yeah? I mean one hundred percent. The golf trips are
- 13:26Speaker 2: similar because there are people from the Bachelor world that invited,
- 13:30Speaker 2: and I'm planning one right now where there's even more
- 13:33Speaker 2: Bachelor friends invited because I now know they play golf
- 13:35Speaker 2: because they've kind of reached out since they saw the
- 13:38Speaker 2: first one and they're like, why I wasn't I invited.
- 13:39Speaker 2: I was like, I didn't know you played.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Uh huh.
- 13:41Speaker 2: You know our season I think had friendships, but we
- 13:44Speaker 2: also had uh we weren't as close as others, And
- 13:49Speaker 2: so there's only a few people that I know personally
- 13:53Speaker 2: that I could invite to this that I know I
- 13:55Speaker 2: would enjoy being like that we were still friends. It
- 13:57Speaker 2: wouldn't be weird for me to be like, I haven't
- 13:59Speaker 2: talked to you an eight year, but please come on
- 14:02Speaker 2: this trip with me. So there are a few, but
- 14:04Speaker 2: I've I think there's some seasons that we look back
- 14:07Speaker 2: on in the Bachelor world where they're iconic because of
- 14:10Speaker 2: the depth of people. I would actually say that the
- 14:14Speaker 2: cast on my like my season of the Bachelor, has
- 14:17Speaker 2: that like kind of iconic, Like you could name ten
- 14:20Speaker 2: of them right now and they'd probably all tend to
- 14:22Speaker 2: get together I.
- 14:23Speaker 3: Very much could name ten of them right now from
- 14:25Speaker 3: your season.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just like there's some that stand out and
- 14:28Speaker 2: there's others that don't. But this, you know, the Goldens
- 14:31Speaker 2: are awesome. Jess Edwards reveals when she'll be moving in
- 14:46Speaker 2: with Spencer Conley and where they'll be living. They met
- 14:50Speaker 2: on Paradise. We got to watch their love story blossom,
- 14:54Speaker 2: even though not too often because they were such a
- 14:57Speaker 2: solid couple that they're never shown, but being with them
- 15:01Speaker 2: at the reunion that we did at the Almost Famous podcast,
- 15:03Speaker 2: we could tell that there was something special there and
- 15:05Speaker 2: they'll be moving in together. Heather tell us the details.
- 15:08Speaker 4: She just did a little post on Instagram and said
- 15:11Speaker 4: lots of questions about the move. We're looking at places
- 15:14Speaker 4: in Lower Greenville and M Street. My main want is
- 15:19Speaker 4: a very walkable area to lots of things because that's
- 15:22Speaker 4: something I love about where I live in San Diego.
- 15:27Speaker 4: And so she's talking about Texas. They are moving to Texas.
- 15:32Speaker 4: She also revealed that they won't be moving to a
- 15:35Speaker 4: new home until the new year. Spencer's current lease isn't
- 15:38Speaker 4: up until January, so we have some time, and I
- 15:41Speaker 4: will be getting a storage unit for a few weeks,
- 15:44Speaker 4: she shared, So you took the words right out.
- 15:46Speaker 3: Of my mouth.
- 15:47Speaker 4: I mean, we absolutely saw the love between them at
- 15:50Speaker 4: the reunion firsthand, and I think that they are one
- 15:54Speaker 4: of those Bachelor Nation couples that I think are seriously
- 15:57Speaker 4: going to go the distance.
- 15:58Speaker 3: They're so cute.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's fun to hear these updates for no
- 16:02Speaker 2: other reason other than we just know they're still doing
- 16:04Speaker 2: well and they're still together, you know, so when they're
- 16:07Speaker 2: planning this stuff, we know that there's a future in
- 16:09Speaker 2: front of us, and we never doubted it, just like
- 16:12Speaker 2: we really never doubted that Zach and Katie would still,
- 16:16Speaker 2: you know, be going strong. They're going strong. They're dishing
- 16:20Speaker 2: on kids. They're also talking about if Bachelor Nation will
- 16:23Speaker 2: be at their wedding celebration. Also, Heather to add in here,
- 16:27Speaker 2: I was just with the two of them. They are
- 16:29Speaker 2: just such a great couple to be around. I know
- 16:33Speaker 2: that they are building a home, so they're planning that
- 16:38Speaker 2: out because they've shown on Instagram that they're picking out
- 16:40Speaker 2: different furnishes, making it their own. Just a lot of
- 16:44Speaker 2: fun stuff happening in their relationship.
- 16:46Speaker 4: Yeah, and not to be confusing at all to anybody.
- 16:49Speaker 4: Who might be listening being like, what are you talking
- 16:50Speaker 4: about wedding celebration? They're already married, so if you'll remember,
- 16:54Speaker 4: they had that really tiny, intimate wedding. But I was
- 16:58Speaker 4: actually kind of surprised to see that they are going
- 17:00Speaker 4: to be doing another wedding celebration with a bigger group
- 17:04Speaker 4: of people.
- 17:06Speaker 3: How do you feel about that?
- 17:07Speaker 4: Are you like a two wedding kind of person? Do
- 17:10Speaker 4: you think just like call it an anniversary party, call
- 17:13Speaker 4: it a birthday party.
- 17:15Speaker 3: I don't know, Like I thought that.
- 17:17Speaker 4: Was kind of interesting to have another wedding celebration, maybe
- 17:21Speaker 4: so far out.
- 17:22Speaker 2: It seems to be a new trend because people get married,
- 17:25Speaker 2: you know, in Italy or someplace overseas, and they can't
- 17:31Speaker 2: invite too many people to it, or they know that
- 17:33Speaker 2: people couldn't afford and so they don't want to put
- 17:36Speaker 2: the pressure on them. This has become more and more popular.
- 17:40Speaker 2: I look at my wedding night as the best, most
- 17:43Speaker 2: fun night of my life. But it was a big party.
- 17:46Speaker 2: We did it in Nashville. I think I would have
- 17:49Speaker 2: a hard time. The only thing I would have in
- 17:53Speaker 2: like like personally for me and this would be I
- 17:57Speaker 2: would have a hard time getting as excited a year
- 18:00Speaker 2: later than I was that night, because an anniversary for
- 18:04Speaker 2: us since then has been very quiet and calm and reflective.
- 18:08Speaker 2: It's not that like blowout party bash, but I'm sure
- 18:13Speaker 2: they can get up for it. So it's just different
- 18:15Speaker 2: strokes for different folks. I also just don't see Zach
- 18:18Speaker 2: being the type of guy that wants more than one party.
- 18:21Speaker 3: I think life gets in the way.
- 18:23Speaker 4: I think these are well intended thoughts of like, yeah,
- 18:26Speaker 4: we'll do the small thing and then we'll do the
- 18:28Speaker 4: big thing. But it's like then, it's like you said,
- 18:31Speaker 4: building a house, starting a family, you know, something, a
- 18:35Speaker 4: work opportunity comes up, and that wedding keeps getting you know,
- 18:39Speaker 4: pushed to the background. So I wish them well if
- 18:42Speaker 4: they want to have that second celebration, I think that's great.
- 18:44Speaker 3: I love a good wedding. And says that.
- 18:47Speaker 4: They're going to be having bachelor alum from six different
- 18:50Speaker 4: seasons coming to this, which is very fun to see.
- 18:54Speaker 4: But you know, if they end up pushing it off
- 18:57Speaker 4: and life gets in the way, that's okay too.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Yes, that is okay. I remember, like Kenny and Mari,
- 19:03Speaker 2: he did like three or four celebrations for their wedding,
- 19:06Speaker 2: which was wild. I remember they came on and talked
- 19:09Speaker 2: about it. I have to go back and listen to
- 19:11Speaker 2: get the details, but yeah, they did a bunch interesting
- 19:15Speaker 2: headline this week. I saw this one pop up and
- 19:17Speaker 2: I thought it was another one of those AI like
- 19:20Speaker 2: stupid things, and it kind of was. It ended up
- 19:23Speaker 2: being that, but it was also just a ridiculous headline.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Charity loss in response to pregnancy rumors and claps back
- 19:31Speaker 2: at body shamers. First off, absolutely crazy that Charity Losson
- 19:37Speaker 2: has body shamers. That's just right there. We should note
- 19:40Speaker 2: this is a fake article. But also this is kind
- 19:44Speaker 2: of falling a little bit, falling into that trap that
- 19:47Speaker 2: we've been talking about of these fake headlines coming.
- 19:49Speaker 4: Out literally fake news, I feel every single week. So
- 19:54Speaker 4: Charity shared a fake article on her Instagram story about
- 19:57Speaker 4: her and Dowton expecting their first child. She wrote, as
- 20:01Speaker 4: we know, nothing on Facebook is real. She followed up
- 20:05Speaker 4: with comments on one of her recent posts that said,
- 20:08Speaker 4: when did Charity have her baby?
- 20:09Speaker 3: No mention of it?
- 20:11Speaker 4: And I read you were pregnant and you were photographed
- 20:13Speaker 4: looking like you were. Charity responded saying, I am not
- 20:17Speaker 4: pregnant and do not have a child. News to me, truly,
- 20:21Speaker 4: I am curious what photo. It's probably Ai And then
- 20:26Speaker 4: she later found out it was a photo of her
- 20:28Speaker 4: in Dotton that she had posted, writing this is the photo,
- 20:33Speaker 4: and she clapped back and said, I am now on
- 20:36Speaker 4: my way to eat my body weight in k pot.
- 20:39Speaker 3: So I love that.
- 20:41Speaker 2: What is k pot? By the way?
- 20:42Speaker 4: Is it the one where you drop it in the
- 20:44Speaker 4: pot and you cook it like you are given like
- 20:47Speaker 4: raw me the veggies and that, and I think that's
- 20:50Speaker 4: what that is. Yeah, But I love that she ended
- 20:52Speaker 4: it with a sense of humor. But I think going
- 20:55Speaker 4: back to what we've said or you've said week after week,
- 20:58Speaker 4: it's like, don't draw the attack to these articles because
- 21:01Speaker 4: that's what makes more of them pop up, right, And
- 21:04Speaker 4: it just feels like every single week we're responding to
- 21:07Speaker 4: some sort of fake headline that people are feeling they
- 21:10Speaker 4: have to address, which is just awful.
- 21:14Speaker 2: And it's dangerous long term. Yes, for so many it's
- 21:18Speaker 2: like the Boy who Cried Wolf. When are we going
- 21:20Speaker 2: to ever actually know if something's true or not.
- 21:23Speaker 3: When we see it not on Facebook? That's the first two.
- 21:26Speaker 2: That's a good point. Final headline of today is one
- 21:32Speaker 2: that hits so many of our hearts. Some of us
- 21:36Speaker 2: can relate to this, some of us can just feel
- 21:40Speaker 2: for the people involved. And I think it's only fitting
- 21:45Speaker 2: here at the Almost Famous podcast to say that we're
- 21:48Speaker 2: deeply thinking about Noah and Aaron erb they shared an
- 21:53Speaker 2: emotional tribute after losing their mom. This was hard. I
- 22:00Speaker 2: watched and looked at everything they shared. It was such
- 22:03Speaker 2: a beautiful testament to who she was, and it came
- 22:05Speaker 2: from a place of love. But it's also heavy, heavy
- 22:10Speaker 2: to see, and we feel for both of them.
- 22:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, this is the kind of stuff that
- 22:16Speaker 4: you don't want to read in headlines at all for anybody.
- 22:21Speaker 4: Noah wrote in his post, I think some people are
- 22:25Speaker 4: created so beautifully inside and out that God gets a
- 22:28Speaker 4: little jealous and takes them back prematurely.
- 22:32Speaker 3: Mom.
- 22:32Speaker 4: I've interacted with more people than I know how to count,
- 22:36Speaker 4: and I can say I've never met someone quite like you.
- 22:40Speaker 4: He goes on and leaves a really beautiful sentiment, and
- 22:45Speaker 4: then Aaron also posted online and said Heaven gained the
- 22:49Speaker 4: most beautiful Mama Sea. I'll never fully comprehend the amount
- 22:53Speaker 4: of sacrifice and love it took to raise all twelve
- 22:57Speaker 4: of us. You were a friend to everyone you met
- 23:01Speaker 4: and went out of your way to make people feel seen.
- 23:05Speaker 4: Absolutely beautiful tributes. My heart goes out to them. As
- 23:09Speaker 4: somebody who lost their mom around the same age that
- 23:13Speaker 4: these guys are, it's really really a difficult thing to process.
- 23:18Speaker 4: And all I can say is that your life is
- 23:23Speaker 4: different after you lose somebody that significant. You just it's
- 23:27Speaker 4: never the same, It's just different. And so we're wishing
- 23:31Speaker 4: them all the best in their grieving process and for
- 23:35Speaker 4: their family. Because she sounds like she was an incredible woman.
- 23:40Speaker 2: It definitely does. So we are thinking about you here
- 23:44Speaker 2: at the show. And that's been the headlines for this
- 23:47Speaker 2: week again, as every week, it's a roller coaster ride
- 23:50Speaker 2: of headlines from new life to life passing on to
- 23:54Speaker 2: New York City marathoners completing something that they will talk
- 23:58Speaker 2: about for the rest of their life. I think that's
- 24:00Speaker 2: the cool thing about something like that is you will
- 24:03Speaker 2: tell your grandkids I ran the New York City Marathon
- 24:07Speaker 2: at one point, and so congratulations to all of you
- 24:10Speaker 2: who did that. We'll be back next week and this
- 24:13Speaker 2: week we have more content coming your way, some really
- 24:16Speaker 2: great interviews, some breakdowns of the Golden Bachelor, along with
- 24:21Speaker 2: some other shows that are out there, like Famously Available.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Make sure you tune into that to get up to
- 24:28Speaker 2: speed on some of your favorite Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants
- 24:31Speaker 2: who are out there dating for some the first time
- 24:35Speaker 2: in a long time. But until next time, I've been been,
- 24:41Speaker 2: and I've been Heather, We'll talk to you seen everybody.
