Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_21: Good morning, and I love your show.
- 0:32SPEAKER_02: Ah, yes, the Calm Before the Storm Tuesday.
- 0:35SPEAKER_02: It is the John Justice show presented by American Experiment.
- 0:39SPEAKER_02: I'm glad that you're with us at this early hour.
- 0:42SPEAKER_02: My name is, of course, John Justice.

- 1:08SPEAKER_02: There's a lot of fantastic uh new pieces up by our policy fellows.
- 1:12SPEAKER_02: As a matter of fact, uh Darren Nelson, one of our policy fellows, will be joining us uh coming up in the uh eight o'clock hour.
- 1:20SPEAKER_02: And uh we have a ranking for uh pocket wallet.
- 1:23SPEAKER_02: No, we have a ranking for uh Governor Dim Walls that we will uh dive into also with Darren.
- 1:29SPEAKER_02: We'll talk about the fact that um there was a bill that was passed going back to 2021, June 26th of 2021, the Natural Gas Innovation Act, and you're probably completely unaware uh of this of this uh particular bill.
- 1:44SPEAKER_02: Uh but what we'll find out at 830 is that uh it could exponentially raise your electricity and uh heating costs by completely banning natural gas in the state.
- 1:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's pretty bad.
- 1:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's it's it's it's it's pretty, it's it's pretty bad.
- 2:00SPEAKER_02: So we'll talk about that with uh Darren and a host of other issues.
- 2:03SPEAKER_02: We got a lot of ground to cover between now and uh then.
- 2:07SPEAKER_02: So as I mentioned, Calm Before the Storm Tuesday, you can watch the show at uh Center of the American Experiment, Facebook and uh YouTube pages.
- 2:15SPEAKER_02: Listen live on the Mix LR stream as well, and we post everything once the show is over.
- 2:19SPEAKER_02: So uh we have a ton of examples this morning of the leftist media completely carrying the water for the DFL, one week out from this pivotal most important election of our lifetime, as every single one is.
- 2:36SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna uh share with you a few things to help calm you down if you're worried about stuff.
- 2:39SPEAKER_02: I'm not worried about stuff.
- 2:41SPEAKER_02: Listen, am I positive?
- 2:42SPEAKER_02: Sure, I'm positive.
- 2:43SPEAKER_02: I'd rather be positive.
- 2:44SPEAKER_02: I talked about this.
- 2:45SPEAKER_02: It's it's um it's movie rules for films that I'm looking forward to, right?
- 2:51SPEAKER_02: I remain positive that the film is going to be good, okay, even though there's a you know a possibility it could go bad, but I'll wait and find out whether or not I'm uh disappointed uh later on.
- 3:03SPEAKER_02: So uh we'll get uh we'll get into that and make you feel a little bit better later on in the show.
- 3:07SPEAKER_02: But a lot of examples this morning of how the uh the local media is carrying the water for the DFL, including I called it, and I'll give you the details coming up in the first segment.
- 3:17SPEAKER_02: But as I thought, Attorney General Thief Ellison has decided to charge more individuals with fraud.
- 3:24SPEAKER_02: It's incredible how that happens.
- 3:26SPEAKER_02: Even though these allegations um go back to like 2021, he just, you know, only just now did he get his ducks in a row to go and move forward, charging some individuals with fraud, which of course has given him uh a bunch of headline leading stories in the news a week out before the election.
- 3:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's right.
- 3:47SPEAKER_02: Uh Hassan Piker, uh Kami Howard Stern, this is what I'm calling him now.
- 3:53SPEAKER_02: He is.
- 3:54SPEAKER_02: When you think back to the beginnings of Howard Stern and sort of the shock jock radio days where Howard Stern made a name for himself, just saying really incendiary statements that you typically didn't hear.
- 4:12SPEAKER_02: But really, there was little substance to what Howard Turn was uh Howard Stern was offering.
- 4:17SPEAKER_02: That's all Hassan Piker is.
- 4:19SPEAKER_02: You strip away the rhetoric, and it's evil, make no mistake.
- 4:22SPEAKER_02: You strip that away, and you what are you left with?
- 4:26SPEAKER_02: You're left with a tall, radical commie.
- 4:29SPEAKER_02: That's it.
- 4:31SPEAKER_02: The guy's got nothing else going for him other than his over-the-top comments, which are truly disgusting.
- 4:38SPEAKER_02: And we'll get into this.
- 4:39SPEAKER_02: The podcast was held uh yesterday uh with Omar Fate and Ilhan Omar.
- 4:45SPEAKER_02: I do have audio to uh to share as well.
- 4:47SPEAKER_02: So uh lots to a lot of ground to cover as we get uh going on the show this morning.
- 4:52SPEAKER_02: Again, 651-964-0294.
- 4:57SPEAKER_02: Couple of uh smaller items of note.
- 4:59SPEAKER_02: Uh first off, on a sad day yesterday, he lived long and prospered, though.
- 5:04SPEAKER_02: Walter Coning, who played Ensign Pavel Chekhov on the original Star Trek television series and seven of the franchise films, he died over the weekend Sunday at his home in North Hollywood, California.
- 5:16SPEAKER_02: He was 90 years old.
- 5:19SPEAKER_02: So I think that only leaves William Shatner left of the original Star Trek crew.
- 5:27SPEAKER_02: I think he's the only one.
- 5:28SPEAKER_02: Which makes you wonder whether or not William Shatner's just been sucking off the life force of the other characters from the Star Trek series to sustain his okay.
- 5:38SPEAKER_02: I'm not listening, I don't mean to speak ill of those that have passed away.
- 5:41SPEAKER_02: Walter Coning, 90 years old, clearly lived a long He did, he lived long and he and he prospered.
- 5:48SPEAKER_02: Okay, so he lived a long, a long full life.
- 5:51SPEAKER_02: Boy, I'll tell you what though, if you are William Shatner, rough, rough day Monday, right?
- 5:57SPEAKER_02: Oh then there was one.
- 6:00SPEAKER_02: Speaking of rough, can we just as we move through some of the headlines this morning, can we get rid of the Super Bowl halftime show?
- 6:07SPEAKER_02: Can we can can can we do that?
- 6:09SPEAKER_02: Devin, do you have a thought on on this?
- 6:11SPEAKER_02: They announced this year's this year's performer.
- 6:14SPEAKER_02: Have you seen who it is?
- 6:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I have.
- 6:15SPEAKER_03: I actually love the Super Bowl halftime show.
- 6:18SPEAKER_03: I I feel like I I haven't known the artist in like four years, though, but I feel like I'm entertained every time.
- 6:26SPEAKER_02: Okay, all right.
- 6:26SPEAKER_02: I'll give it to you.
- 6:27SPEAKER_02: I'll give it to you.
- 6:28SPEAKER_02: I am speaking from um I'm speaking to my age on this front because it used to be so much better, man.
- 6:37SPEAKER_02: I'm telling you.
- 6:38SPEAKER_02: You missed out on sort of the good sort of the golden era of Super Bowl halftime shows.
- 6:43SPEAKER_02: Uh Jay-Z is headlining uh uh the the next Super Bowl the halftime show.
- 6:47SPEAKER_02: I I I just like what what are we he's still relevant now?
- 6:52SPEAKER_02: His company, Rock Nation, has produced the Super Bowl uh halftime show.
- 6:59SPEAKER_02: Okay, for um for years, uh since 2019.
- 7:05SPEAKER_02: So he plays a key role in selecting each year's performer.
- 7:11SPEAKER_02: So it kind of makes sense that he would suddenly, you know, be one of the individuals headlining here.
- 7:16SPEAKER_02: I just when you look at past performers, Rolling Stones, Beyonce, Madonna, Prince, Spring Teen, Springsteen to a lesser extent, although I do acknowledge his popularity, who have taken the stage of the Super Bowl over the years.
- 7:28SPEAKER_02: And these were individuals, and I guess part of the issue here is, and by the way, George Tekai is still alive, so I was wrong on that.
- 7:34SPEAKER_02: I forgot.
- 7:35SPEAKER_02: So there is still one.
- 7:36SPEAKER_02: Although he's a socket wrench, but be that as it may, I'm not, I don't feel bad that I forgot about George Tekai.
- 7:41SPEAKER_02: Because the dude's a tool, because that's what a socket wrench is.
- 7:44SPEAKER_02: Um, so the the nature of the Super Bowl halftime show is kind of a byproduct of how we have fewer and fewer icons in the music industry.
- 7:55SPEAKER_02: Like, unless you're getting a Taylor Swift or any of a handful of lesser popular, but not by much artists.
- 8:04SPEAKER_02: You're Olivia Rodrigo's and things like this.
- 8:07SPEAKER_02: There, you know, it's it's less likely you're gonna have bands and artists that maintain the iconic status that we've seen in the past, like the Rolling Stones and Beyoncé and Madonna and Prince.
- 8:21SPEAKER_02: At the time when they were performing at the halftime shows, I mean, these were individuals that were incredibly relevant within the cultural zeitgeist, even beyond the music itself.
- 8:31SPEAKER_02: I mean, these were icons within pop culture.
- 8:33SPEAKER_02: I know Jay-Z kind of falls into that category, but I mean, what can anybody you know tell me the last you know time that Jay-Z was topping the charts?
- 8:41SPEAKER_02: I could be completely wrong on this, but so can you guess the last time he made a song?
- 8:45SPEAKER_03: I have no when was the last time he made a song?
- 8:47SPEAKER_03: According to the AI overlords on Google, it was in 2017.
- 8:51SPEAKER_02: Okay, then I rest my case.
- 8:53SPEAKER_02: Thank you very much.
- 8:54SPEAKER_02: I rest I rest my case.
- 8:56SPEAKER_02: And there's people that are saying that William Shatner is a tool too.
- 8:59SPEAKER_02: So okay.
- 9:02SPEAKER_02: Thank you for that, Devin.
- 9:04SPEAKER_02: So I just I I'm with a lot of people, and we talk about this every year when the Super Bowl halftime show gets announced.
- 9:11SPEAKER_02: I wish they would step out of the box.
- 9:12SPEAKER_02: Like my top list would be like Weirdal Yankovic.
- 9:15SPEAKER_02: Because he fits that iconic, you know, uh that iconic artist category.
- 9:22SPEAKER_02: I mean, he is an individual who has transcended.
- 9:24SPEAKER_02: Everybody knows who Weirdell Yankovic is.
- 9:27SPEAKER_02: And let's let's, you know, get right to it.
- 9:30SPEAKER_02: He has a plethora of songs that could appeal to generations.
- 9:36SPEAKER_02: They'll never do it, of course, because I'm sure that the big wig fuddy duddies at uh the uh the NFL would be pinkies up, but we can't have Weird El Yankovic going and doing Super Live type shows.
- 9:48SPEAKER_02: So oh, and just as a just to all things being equal, let's also not go the route of what we did last year either, where there was this alternative to Bad Bunny performing last year, which was a horrible pick.
- 10:04SPEAKER_02: You know, I get it, you know, Turning Point USA had their had their own, you know, America Freedom Super Bowl halftime show, and it was, you know, go watch this instead.
- 10:12SPEAKER_02: And I certainly in spirit in endorse it.
- 10:15SPEAKER_02: I think that was a that was a um an interesting move and something that was worthwhile to go and try out.
- 10:22SPEAKER_02: But at the end of the day, it just wasn't, it was it wasn't all that it wasn't all that great either.
- 10:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it wasn't all that great.
- 10:27SPEAKER_02: You know, I mean if you you you need to bring out the big guns.
- 10:30SPEAKER_02: You know, unfortunately, when it comes to conservative politics and conservative artists, you know, they they don't achieve that similar status as the individuals that typically would be on the list to go and perform at the Super Bowl halftime show.
- 10:43SPEAKER_02: So I won't be watching.
- 10:46SPEAKER_02: I'll find out about how it was a little bit uh later on.
- 10:48SPEAKER_02: Who I guess the bit the better question is who's gonna be in the Super Bowl?
- 10:51SPEAKER_02: Are you even close to being able to make a determination on that or a guess?
- 10:55SPEAKER_02: Not even close.
- 10:58SPEAKER_02: Made me laugh yesterday.
- 10:59SPEAKER_02: Uh Paul Charchian, uh, who I'm saying his last name right, right?
- 11:02SPEAKER_02: I believe so.
- 11:03SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 11:03SPEAKER_02: He had a post, he had a post yesterday talking about how the Vikings are the only team in the league that are 6-0, but he still contends that they should go and switch out the quarterback.
- 11:13SPEAKER_02: He's like, now is the time to do that.
- 11:15SPEAKER_02: See, he sees what I saw, what I see, and I'm not even an NFL expert, that there's that pending epic loss just out there waiting in the wings, right?
- 11:25SPEAKER_02: We'll see.
- 11:26SPEAKER_02: We'll see how long they can keep this run going.
- 11:28SPEAKER_02: All right, 651-964-0294.
- 11:31SPEAKER_02: On a more serious note, the Department of Justice did charge former FDI director James Comey with two espionage act violations for allegedly disclosing classified information to a New York Times reporter in 2016.
- 11:48SPEAKER_02: Comey's attorneys argue the charges are time barred and seek dismissal while the DOJ maintains the prosecution is valid.
- 11:56SPEAKER_02: This is Comey's third federal criminal case in 2025.
- 12:00SPEAKER_02: I don't know how many people care that much about Comey.
- 12:05SPEAKER_02: Like, I'm not the first one to make this comment in terms of commentary, but I was thinking exactly the same thing.
- 12:10SPEAKER_02: Like when you move forward with, you know, these, you know, these charges against James Comey, uh, I don't think it nearly has the impact of what will be the indictment of Ilhan Omar.
- 12:27SPEAKER_02: Like when she gets indicted and it moves forward, that is going to be uh seismic.
- 12:32SPEAKER_02: We'll certainly be talking about that on the show this morning and why um we'll get into the intricacies of what President Donald Trump was proposing yesterday regarding uh removing Ilhan Omar from Congress.
- 12:45SPEAKER_02: And so we'll get into that uh within uh it'll be within the first couple hours of the show.
- 12:50SPEAKER_02: Probably we'll dive into that right around seven o'clock.
- 12:52SPEAKER_02: I just don't know uh how much people really care about Comey any anymore.
- 12:56SPEAKER_02: Prosecutors allege that Comey directed FBI staff to contact uh I'm sorry, let me back, let me back up with this just a little bit.
- 13:03SPEAKER_02: So Patrick Fitzgerald, an attorney representing Comey, denied the allegations on Monday in a statement provided to uh Newsmax.
- 13:12SPEAKER_02: So uh Comey's facing two uh new federal charges.
- 13:16SPEAKER_02: This goes back to an alleged 2016 disclosure of classified national defense information to the New York Times reporter.
- 13:24SPEAKER_02: Prosecutors alleged that Comey, through one or more co-conspirators, directed an unidentified individual to disclose information to a reporter on October 5th, 2016.
- 13:35SPEAKER_02: In an October 23rd court filing, prosecutors identified the reporter as Charlie Savage, whose October 5th, 2016 New York Times article concerned Yahoo's alleged assistance with U.S.
- 13:47SPEAKER_02: government and email surveillance.
- 13:49SPEAKER_02: Prosecutors allege that Comey directed the FBI staff to contact Savage to correct information in earlier in an earlier Reuters report, resulting in the unlawful disclosure.
- 14:00SPEAKER_02: Fitzgerald said two separate teams of prosecutors investigated the alleged disclosure during President Donald Trump's first administration.
- 14:07SPEAKER_02: Both times the government uh determined no charges should be brought against anyone, Fitzgerald said.
- 14:12SPEAKER_02: But listen, just like Ilhan Omar, if James Comey had just done his job, even with having his views, that would have been one thing.
- 14:20SPEAKER_02: And none of this would probably be happening.
- 14:22SPEAKER_02: But James Comey, like so others, including specifically Ilhan Omar, didn't just do their job.
- 14:27SPEAKER_02: They used their jobs, their positions within the federal government, or in Ilhan's case, Congress, to go and peddle their activism.
- 14:35SPEAKER_02: Case in point, this was James Comey on Donald Trump the day that Joe Biden took office.
- 14:42SPEAKER_40: Bar him from future service, have the prosecutors, the local prosecutors in New York, pursue him for the fraudster that he was before he ever became president, lock him up for the garden variety frauds he did there, but don't give him that center stage, that dominant role in our national life, just down the street where Joe Biden is trying to heal this nation.
- 15:06SPEAKER_02: That is exactly the clip that exposes and shows what we've talked about so often on the show of how the left operates against the right versus how the right operates against the left.
- 15:19SPEAKER_02: You see, the left doesn't like their political opponent, and they assume that they've conducted criminal activity but have no evidence as such.
- 15:30SPEAKER_02: So they launch an investigation.
- 15:32SPEAKER_02: I mean, that's the real doxing.
- 15:34SPEAKER_02: I mean, the whole terminology of doxing is really just a gaslight to what the leftists do all the time.
- 15:41SPEAKER_02: So they say, I don't like Trump, so we're just gonna go and investigate everything in Trump's background to find out what he did wrong because we know he did something wrong.
- 15:49SPEAKER_02: Whereas the right goes and looks at allegations of wrongdoing and then investigates those allegations of wrongdoing and then moves forward with prosecutions when they have the courage and the political will and fortitude to go and do so.
- 16:06SPEAKER_02: What Comey exemplified in that clip was what the leftists do.
- 16:11SPEAKER_02: Biden gets into office, and there's just this blanket assumption that they're going to find a host of criminal activity of President Donald Trump.
- 16:18SPEAKER_02: And yeah, how'd that work out for him?
- 16:20SPEAKER_02: As Trump's in the middle of his second term.
- 16:32SPEAKER_02: Lock him and lock him up.
- 16:34SPEAKER_02: And this is exactly the same when we talk about the uh I'm the host now podcast, Omar Fate hosting this Kami Howard Stern, Hassan Piker, and Ilhan Omar yesterday.
- 16:48SPEAKER_02: This is exactly the same thing that Hassan Piker does.
- 16:53SPEAKER_02: He doesn't promote anything positive, he doesn't try to prop anybody up, he doesn't say anything of substance, he just attacks his political opponent with the most incendiary, over-the-top offensive statements possible because he knows that on the platform that he believes and the ideology that he holds dear, he can't win elections straight up on that.
- 17:18SPEAKER_02: So instead, he has to destroy in order to have any sort of success in what he personally would like to see achieved.
- 17:28SPEAKER_02: And this is the same thing that Comey is talking about here.
- 17:31SPEAKER_02: We're just gonna destroy the opposition.
- 17:33SPEAKER_02: Even when we win, we're gonna go and just do everything we can to completely dismantle and destroy our political adversary.
- 17:40SPEAKER_02: Even though we have no evidence of them doing anything wrong, we'll find something or we'll just manufacture something, you know, like the Russia collusion hoax.
- 17:48SPEAKER_02: We'll just do that too.
- 17:51SPEAKER_02: A bit of good news, although it raises more questions, and I'll give you details here in just a moment on the John Justice show presented by uh American Experiment.
- 18:00SPEAKER_02: Uh, but a Minnesota Court of Appeals has reinstated the guilty verdicts for the convicted Medicaid fraudsters.
- 18:11SPEAKER_02: This is reversing the Hennepin County judge's Sarah West decision.
- 18:16SPEAKER_02: If you remember this.
- 18:17SPEAKER_02: So that judge, Sarah West, had overturned the ruling of uh Abdi Fatah Abdul Kadir Yusuf, who was convicted on six felonies of Medicaid fraud.
- 18:35SPEAKER_02: The judge overturned was Hennepin County Sarah West, appointed to the bench in 2018 by then Democrat Governor Mark Dayton.
- 18:42SPEAKER_02: She threw out the jury's guilty verdict in the$7.2 million fraud case.
- 18:47SPEAKER_02: We talked about it on the show.
- 18:48SPEAKER_02: It was an outrage.
- 18:49SPEAKER_02: Everybody's going, what in the Sam heck is going on?
- 18:52SPEAKER_02: More judge activism.
- 18:53SPEAKER_02: Well, now we have a proper move.
- 18:56SPEAKER_02: Now you have an appeals court reinstating that guilty verdict for the fraudster.
- 19:02SPEAKER_02: Now I want to tell you what questions it raises in my mind, and that's a bit of a preview because we're going to do a deep dive on that story coming up just after seven o'clock today.
- 19:11SPEAKER_02: So be sure you stick around for that.
- 19:14SPEAKER_02: Like I said, a lot of audio, including from that podcast uh yesterday, to uh to share with you.
- 19:19SPEAKER_02: Right now, I want to remind you that listen, if you are overweight, if you're on a medication, and if you're tired all the time, I know we're heading into the holiday season.
- 19:26SPEAKER_02: It's upon us, it's right around the corner.
- 19:28SPEAKER_02: We got Halloween this weekend.
- 19:29SPEAKER_02: I put that on the holidays.
- 19:30SPEAKER_02: You might not be thinking that right now is the time that you want to go and lose weight and go on a weight loss journey.
- 19:37SPEAKER_02: I'm telling you, this is a really good opportunity, or wait until the first of the year.

- 20:54SPEAKER_55: I've told you about the suboptimal reading, math, and science proficiency of students in our school district.
- 21:00SPEAKER_55: Here's the solution.
- 21:01SPEAKER_55: Let teachers teach.
- 21:02SPEAKER_55: They were hired because of their expertise.
- 21:05SPEAKER_55: Let them run their classrooms and get them immediate help when a student acts up.
- 21:09SPEAKER_55: Minimize learning interruptions.
- 21:11SPEAKER_55: Let parents parent your child, your values.
- 21:14SPEAKER_55: Make sure your children are ready to go to school, learn, and respect their teachers and classmates.
- 21:19SPEAKER_55: Also make sure that your children understand the consequences if they don't.
- 21:23SPEAKER_55: Let students learn, stick to the basics, teach them how to think critically and have civil discussions with those who don't agree with them.
- 21:30SPEAKER_55: Hold our superintendent contractually accountable for our students' academic proficiency and our district's enrollment growth.
- 21:37SPEAKER_55: That's how we get our district back on the right track.
- 21:40SPEAKER_55: If you want to learn more about where I stand on the issues facing our school district, go to reelectjoeescott.com.
- 21:57SPEAKER_02: Very good.

- 22:38SPEAKER_02: And uh as I mentioned, we'll get into further details of this story coming up after seven o'clock, but I wanted to share this with you.
- 22:45SPEAKER_02: So uh from Kara Levin, Minnesota Court of Appeals reversing the judge who threw out the jury's guilty verdicts uh in the$7.2 million fraud case.
- 22:54SPEAKER_02: The judge overturned was Hennepin County's Sarah West, appointed to the bench, like I said, from former then Governor Mark Dayton.
- 23:01SPEAKER_02: Uh the case involving uh this individual named Youssef, 45 out of Blaine, was convicted on all six felony counts of medical fraud.
- 23:09SPEAKER_02: Excuse me, Medicaid fraud.
- 23:11SPEAKER_02: The Court of Appeals, according to Kara Levin, reversed West judgment of acquittal and ordered the case to be returned to Hennepin County for reinstatement of all six guilty verdicts.
- 23:22SPEAKER_02: Now, during the trial, jurors found aggravating sentencing factors that could support a sentence above Minnesota's sentencing guidelines.
- 23:33SPEAKER_02: Sarah West, to the shock of everybody, disagreed and ended up tossing the fraud charges.
- 23:39SPEAKER_02: And now this appeals court has reinstated those guilty verdicts.
- 23:43SPEAKER_02: And it certainly does raise the question of why did she do it in the first place?
- 23:51SPEAKER_02: You know, everything that I used to discount as movie tropes, right, it was based on some sort of reality.
- 23:59SPEAKER_02: So for example, uh, and I'm I'm gonna use this one top of my head, but uh in Batman Begins when a young pre-Batman, Bruce Wayne, is going to uh investigate and getting into the background of the judge in the case against the individual who killed his mother and his father.
- 24:21SPEAKER_02: He ends up going to this uh corrupt hangout of a bar where the mayor is there, all these judges are there, and he goes to confront sort of the ringleader in all of this uh corruption taking place within the government of Gotham.
- 24:38SPEAKER_02: And it shows there, you know, and again, this is this is no, I mean, I think this was done in departed.
- 24:43SPEAKER_02: It's done in so many movies, right?
- 24:44SPEAKER_02: You see all these judges that are there and they've all been bought off, they're all hanging out with women, way more, way too attractive for how they look, right?
- 24:53SPEAKER_02: It's just all this corruption, right?
- 24:56SPEAKER_02: Everything I used to discount is just movie tropes.
- 24:58SPEAKER_02: I can't help but go and look at circumstances like this and go, why did this judge Sarah West do this?
- 25:04SPEAKER_02: What was her motivation?
- 25:06SPEAKER_02: I mean, it could just be as simple as she's an activist judge, wanted to let these individuals off the hook, but make no mistake, this downplays, her going and throwing out what a jury convicted an individual of and$7.2 million of Medicaid fraud certainly goes and undermines the severity of the fraud discussion when people are having it, only to have clarity come out right before the election.
- 25:35SPEAKER_02: I just a question that gets raised for me, why she did it.
- 25:39SPEAKER_02: We'll get into the nuances of what the ruling actually entailed.
- 25:44SPEAKER_02: Again, coming up after 7 o'clock this morning here on the John Justice Show.
- 25:49SPEAKER_02: We'll get to some of your comments in just a moment to 651-964-0294.

- 26:33SPEAKER_02: So in the stack this morning, I have uh there was a couple of stories I didn't get a chance to get to yesterday, but basically a crime update.
- 26:40SPEAKER_02: Uh and a couple of major stories uh over the weekend, including the basilica being vandalized as some kids had gone and and broke uh into it.
- 26:49SPEAKER_02: I have a comment that came into the blaster line regarding this.
- 26:53SPEAKER_10: Good morning, John.
- 26:54SPEAKER_10: I think we all know the answer, but do you also feel it very suspicious that they're not releasing any names of the adults that broke into the basilica?
- 27:09SPEAKER_10: Yeah.
- 27:10SPEAKER_02: So I'll have the details for you next hour, but the preview is they know who the individuals are, and they had previously been uh let go by Hennepin County attorney Mary Moriarty.
- 27:25SPEAKER_12: It's called the Trump Derangement Problem.
- 27:27SPEAKER_12: Have you heard about that problem?
- 27:30SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 27:30SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 27:31SPEAKER_02: These uh these kids who broke in to this uh famous historical uh location here in the Twin Cities uh had been detained and released under Mary Moriarty.
- 27:42SPEAKER_02: I just, you know, and it's a wonder why she's not running again.
- 27:45SPEAKER_02: Kind of pulling a Seinfeld, getting out while she's on top, because she probably would have gotten clobbered in this election.
- 27:52SPEAKER_02: She doesn't care.
- 27:53SPEAKER_02: She'll be on to her next thing, just like Ilan Omar will be on to her next thing once we move through the pending indictments and whatever uh they land on in terms of potential convictions of the representatives.
- 28:05SPEAKER_02: So thank you for the comment to the blaster line at 651-964-0294.
- 28:11SPEAKER_02: I want to remind you, too, speaking of the Twin Cities, there are multiple locations where you can get fantastic mini leaf products.
- 28:18SPEAKER_02: We're talking about the triple diamond pain cream, which is so incredibly effective.
- 28:23SPEAKER_02: You know, the night gummies is probably what we hear the most about because I use the night gummies every night.
- 28:28SPEAKER_02: It gives it gives me a fantastic night's sleep.
- 28:30SPEAKER_02: Different blends depending on what it is that you need to get a good night's sleep.
- 28:34SPEAKER_02: But, you know, right there behind the night gummies is the triple diamond pain cream.
- 28:38SPEAKER_02: So incredibly effective.
- 28:40SPEAKER_02: The spooky mini-leaf tonics, as we look towards Halloween parties on Saturday with Halloween uh coming up.
- 28:45SPEAKER_02: They have these costumes.
- 28:46SPEAKER_02: They're basically covers.
- 28:48SPEAKER_02: You can put the spooky mini leaf tonics in, and they're ghosts with witches' hats and straws.
- 28:52SPEAKER_02: They're really cool.
- 28:53SPEAKER_02: Uh, these are limited edition and available at M-I-N-N-E-L-E-A F dot com, but you can also get uh mini leaf products as well in uh St.
- 29:02SPEAKER_02: Paul, a flowers cannabis boutique.
- 29:04SPEAKER_02: Scott's liquor also in uh St.
- 29:06SPEAKER_02: Paul.
- 29:08SPEAKER_02: Ken and Norm's liquor in Minneapolis and M GM Bloomington.
- 29:12SPEAKER_02: So head on over and taste happy at M-I-N-N-E-L-E-A-F.com.
- 29:17SPEAKER_02: That's minileaf.com.
- 29:19SPEAKER_02: We're gonna talk voting here in a moment on the show.
- 29:21SPEAKER_02: Let's get back to the blaster line.
- 29:23SPEAKER_39: Good morning, John Holly, up and blame here.
- 29:25SPEAKER_39: And just wanted to say that I went and did my early voting yesterday.
- 29:29SPEAKER_39: So I have to work a double um on election day.
- 29:32SPEAKER_39: And um up in Blaine at the City Hall, you know, I was impressed by the number of people that were there.
- 29:38SPEAKER_39: I still got in and out really quick.
- 29:40SPEAKER_39: Um, but I was very happy to see that uh it was pretty steady um the whole time I was there.
- 29:45SPEAKER_39: Anyway, everybody get out and vote.
- 29:47SPEAKER_39: Don't wait till election day.
- 29:48SPEAKER_39: Have a great day.
- 29:49SPEAKER_39: Bye.
- 29:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we're gonna be uh not my choice, uh, but we're gonna be early voting this week.
- 29:54SPEAKER_02: Um my boys are going to be heading uh down to Texas because they're going to watch the uh Starship launch in uh about a week.
- 30:05SPEAKER_02: Uh about two weeks now.
- 30:06SPEAKER_02: Uh they're gonna watch the uh Starship launch and then hopefully catch not only the booster, but Starship itself.
- 30:13SPEAKER_02: So both uh Kyle and Logan are gonna be heading down for that.
- 30:16SPEAKER_02: I'm really excited for them.
- 30:17SPEAKER_02: Logan is through the moon excited, but I'm glad that uh Kyle's going too.
- 30:20SPEAKER_02: So it's gonna be a pretty incredible experience uh for the uh for the both of them.
- 30:26SPEAKER_02: So speaking of voting, Attorney General Keith uh Ellison filed civil lawsuits against NASIB Bakery and uh East African Healthcare Network for submitting false claims to the Minnesota Department of Education.
- 30:41SPEAKER_02: The lawsuits are related to the free food nonprofit partners in nutrition alleged fraud activities going back to 2020 and 2021.
- 30:49SPEAKER_02: So I called it, I said this was gonna happen.
- 30:54SPEAKER_02: I said that Keith Ellison was waiting and he would go because he had this, he did this a couple weeks back.
- 31:01SPEAKER_02: He went and launched uh these lawsuits against a handful of individuals over fraud, and he was able to gain a whole bunch of headlines from local media.
- 31:11SPEAKER_02: And I said back then, I said, watch.
- 31:13SPEAKER_02: He had some, I forgot, I was like 230 pending investigations that were going on relating to the fraud.
- 31:22SPEAKER_02: And I said, just watch.
- 31:24SPEAKER_02: This is not the last time he's gonna do this, and he'll probably do it in the run to the election.
- 31:27SPEAKER_02: And look at that.
- 31:29SPEAKER_02: I'm Nostradamus, Nostra Justice.
- 31:33SPEAKER_02: Nothing really work, does it?
- 31:36SPEAKER_02: Now, Bill Glon writes at Center of the American Experiment: Do we file this under better late than never or election interference?
- 31:46SPEAKER_02: Attorney General Ellison files false claim lawsuits against businesses and individuals for child nutrition fraud.
- 31:53SPEAKER_02: Ellison announces two civil lawsuits against Nasib Bakery and the East African Healthcare Network and related entities and individuals alleged defendants submitted millions in false claims to the department, uh Minnesota Department of Education.
- 32:09SPEAKER_02: Now, again, these are civil lawsuits.
- 32:14SPEAKER_02: These are not criminal charges.
- 32:17SPEAKER_02: If you read the filings linked in the press release, you will find out the conduct at issue took place in 2020 and 2021.
- 32:28SPEAKER_02: Five to six years ago.
- 32:31SPEAKER_02: We would technically describe these lawsuits as feeding our future related, doing that thing with my fingers.
- 32:38SPEAKER_02: Technically, however, they involve a different free food nonprofit partners in nutrition.
- 32:44SPEAKER_02: And Bill Gwan asked the appropriate question in the article that's available up at AmericanExperiment.org.
- 32:50SPEAKER_02: And he says, why now?
- 32:54SPEAKER_02: He first mentioned the East African Healthcare Network in a post back in February of 2020.
- 33:01SPEAKER_02: Among the defendants, also named in the 2026 lawsuit, were two companies, Midwest Pizza and Cedar Halal Pizza.
- 33:09SPEAKER_02: And Bill says, I've also been writing about it for years, but with days to go in his bid for a third term.
- 33:18SPEAKER_02: As state attorney general, Keith Ellison has been born again as a fraud fighter.
- 33:23SPEAKER_02: No, he's grabbing headlines.
- 33:25SPEAKER_02: This was all over local media yesterday.
- 33:29SPEAKER_02: Star Tribune.
- 33:30SPEAKER_02: I mean, they all had it.
- 33:31SPEAKER_02: Keith Ellison files fraud, food fraud lawsuit.
- 33:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 33:37SPEAKER_02: It's all for show.
- 33:38SPEAKER_02: It's completely political theater, exactly as I easily predicted it would be.
- 33:49SPEAKER_02: And I don't, you know, I don't know what the media position is supposed to be on this.
- 33:56SPEAKER_02: I mean, I understand why they're covering it.
- 33:58SPEAKER_02: It is newsworthy, but you'd be a f fool, an absolute fool not to understand, looking at the details, why he did this.
- 34:06SPEAKER_02: If there was any journalistic integrity based off of how old these claims were, going back to, again, a nutrition program that's kind of adjacent to feeding our future, they would recognize, yeah, maybe we shouldn't spend a lot of time focusing on this, but no, of course not, because they carry the water for the leftists.
- 34:29SPEAKER_02: Look, as another example of this, there are different interviews with uh gubernatorial candidate Lisa Damath, and it's hysterical because all these interviews are focusing on all of these hot button questions that are beneficial to Amy Klobuchar to have Lisa Damath asked, while Amy Klobuchar just gets nothing but softballs from the local media.
- 34:54SPEAKER_02: She's out there posting videos of going to events and talking about getting close-up camera shots on little um uh desserts at whatever bakery she's visiting because there are ghosts on them.
- 35:06SPEAKER_02: Oh, you should get this in the shot because this would look nice.
- 35:09SPEAKER_02: In the meantime, you get these hard-hitting QAs being peddled out by local media outlets for Lisa Damath that are just completely beneficial to Democrats in all of this.
- 35:22SPEAKER_02: It is so incredibly blatant.
- 35:25SPEAKER_02: It's gross, is what it is.
- 35:27SPEAKER_11: You're clairvoyant profit, John.
- 35:30SPEAKER_11: And what's more interesting is how the local sensitive carry urban media here are falling all over themselves and drooling and giving them airtime.
- 35:44SPEAKER_02: It was an easy prediction to make, Lou.
- 35:48SPEAKER_02: Not difficult in the slightest.
- 35:50SPEAKER_02: Listen to my point.
- 35:54SPEAKER_02: Got another example here to share with you.
- 35:57SPEAKER_02: So, first off, Bill Glon has several different pieces up that I'll be uh relating to this morning.
- 36:02SPEAKER_02: But Minneapolis is operating a dozen pop-up voting locations, including the Wiseman Art Museum, to encourage early voting among Democrat-leaning voters.
- 36:12SPEAKER_02: That's all that it is.
- 36:14SPEAKER_02: As Bill writes, what could go wrong?
- 36:17SPEAKER_02: Again this year, the city of Minneapolis is operating these pop-up voting locations daily.
- 36:23SPEAKER_02: One day only visits around town to locations convenient to Democrat-leaning voters in the two weeks leading up to election day.
- 36:32SPEAKER_02: It's not illegal, but it's gross.
- 36:36SPEAKER_02: Bill says he drove by today's location.
- 36:38SPEAKER_02: This was yesterday, the iconic Wiseman Art Museum, Wham, on the main campus of the University of Minnesota.
- 36:45SPEAKER_02: This Frank Gary designed monstrosity is normally closed Monday, but today, right?
- 36:53SPEAKER_02: It was encouraging U of M students, faculty, and staff to cast their ballots in this week's election.
- 36:58SPEAKER_02: He also lists at the website all of the uh various locations where you can go and and take advantage of these pop-up locations.
- 37:07SPEAKER_02: And yes, these are in Democrat strongholds.
- 37:11SPEAKER_02: Keep this in mind, because I have another voting example to share with you in just uh in just a moment, though.
- 37:16SPEAKER_02: Keep this in mind.
- 37:17SPEAKER_02: Listen, even if it were a blowout, okay, nationwide.
- 37:22SPEAKER_02: Let's go with the let's just go with the with the midterm elections, not locally here in Minnesota.
- 37:27SPEAKER_02: Even if it's a blowout, understand what we're going to be left with is just stagnation.
- 37:34SPEAKER_02: Democrats need all three branches of government to do any real damage.
- 37:38SPEAKER_02: They'll waste everybody's time and taxpayer dollars setting up the Democrat nominee, whomever she or he or Zay is in 2028 by going after Trump, indictments, false claims of fraud, you name it.
- 37:55SPEAKER_02: This is what they'll waste all their time doing.
- 37:58SPEAKER_02: But they're not going to be able to get anything passed.
- 38:00SPEAKER_02: Even if they grab grab both houses, Trump can just go and shoot it down.
- 38:03SPEAKER_02: They can't go and stop Trump from issuing executive orders.
- 38:08SPEAKER_02: So listen, it would suck because the country's not going to be able to go anywhere.
- 38:12SPEAKER_02: It's only going to increase the divisions that we're already faced with.
- 38:15SPEAKER_02: It'll probably go and play right in to the radical leftist Marxist commie hands with their machinations to go and cause nationwide disruptions in order to go and force President Donald Trump to issue the Insurrection Act.
- 38:33SPEAKER_02: But it's not going to be the end of the world.
- 38:36SPEAKER_02: Now, statewide offices are different, but we've also survived before.
- 38:42SPEAKER_02: I'm not making any predictions by any stretch.
- 38:46SPEAKER_02: I have my thoughts about how things will go down, and I'm remaining optimistic.
- 38:50SPEAKER_02: You know, like other individuals, I would rather be positive thinking that, you know what, we're going to win.
- 38:55SPEAKER_02: I'd rather stay positive heading into election day than to spend the next seven days just down and depressed focusing on polls that are all designed to go and demoralize Republicans from going out and voting.
- 39:08SPEAKER_02: Regardless of the outcome nationwide or in the state of Minnesota, we're going to survive.
- 39:13SPEAKER_02: We always survive.
- 39:14SPEAKER_02: We do.
- 39:15SPEAKER_02: Every single election is the most important election.
- 39:17SPEAKER_02: And once again, we're on the precipice of an important election.
- 39:20SPEAKER_02: And guess what?
- 39:21SPEAKER_02: In 2028, when we go to elect a new president and another round of individuals to serve in office, it's going to be the most important election then for a whole host of other reasons that are going to be very similar to this round of reasons.
- 39:36SPEAKER_02: But speaking on the uh notion of making it easy for Democrats to go and vote, we have pop-up locations.
- 39:42SPEAKER_02: Oh, we also have Minnesota officials like Melanie Hazlip, who went on Somali TV to explain to Somalis how to go and vote without an ID.
- 39:51SPEAKER_29: If you're already registered to vote, you don't need to bring anything with you.
- 39:54SPEAKER_29: You just show up to your early voting location, which is usually the county office or a city hall.
- 39:59SPEAKER_29: Minneapolis and the bigger jurisdictions have a lot of extra places where you can go, like a lot of libraries or community centers.
- 40:06SPEAKER_29: But if as long as you're registered to vote, you don't need to bring anything with you.
- 40:09SPEAKER_29: If you're not registered to vote and you have um, you still have options.
- 40:13SPEAKER_29: If you have a Minnesota ID that is updated, that's all you need to bring with you.
- 40:18SPEAKER_29: If you don't have that, there is a list of documents on our website that you can find.
- 40:22SPEAKER_29: You still have options to get registered same day.
- 40:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and if you don't have that, just bring uh an individual with you to vouch for you and eight of your friends, and you can go and vote uh that way.
- 40:36SPEAKER_02: You can you can you can you can you can do it that way.
- 40:39SPEAKER_02: You can do it that way too.
- 40:42SPEAKER_02: 651-964-0294.
- 40:46SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 40:47SPEAKER_02: I want to give you an update on the story you probably haven't heard about, but we're gonna talk a little terrorism.
- 40:51SPEAKER_02: Only because Hassan Piker uh brought it up calling Republicans terrorists at last night's uh podcast recording with Omar Fate and Ilhan uh Ilhan Omar.
- 41:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it was pretty uh it was pretty darn gross.
- 41:03SPEAKER_02: We're gonna talk about actual, real suspected terrorists here in uh in just a moment.
- 41:08SPEAKER_02: First off, though, I want to remind you that if you're looking toward the harsh winter months, you might want to give your house a whole home makeover.
- 41:17SPEAKER_02: And the best company to call is a company that I trust, that your neighbors trust, the Catherine Johnson here at American Experiment Trust.
- 41:24SPEAKER_02: And I'm talking about Ericsson Plumbing, heating air and electrical.
- 41:28SPEAKER_02: Because for 43 years, Ericsson Plumbing Heating Air and Electrical, they have been providing quality service from quick fixes to major repairs, family-owned, experienced, licensed, and dependable, and they're experts across all the major trades: electrical, gas, plumbing, HVAC, even safety and security.

- 41:56SPEAKER_02: And take advantage of their iHeart My Home Club.
- 41:58SPEAKER_02: This is a fantastic, real whole home care program from people who actually care.
- 42:04SPEAKER_02: I've done it, and it was essential to making sure that the house that we all live in is running as the way that it should.
- 42:12SPEAKER_02: And they even took care of a couple of quick fixes that would have been um incredibly expensive down the road if we hadn't tackled.
- 42:18SPEAKER_02: So give them a call today, 763 783 4545.
- 42:22SPEAKER_02: That's 763-783-4545.

- 42:29SPEAKER_02: That's iHeartErickson.com.
- 42:31SPEAKER_28: Think about it.
- 42:32SPEAKER_28: Black and Hispanic students in Mississippi perform better in reading and math than black and Hispanic students in Minnesota.
- 42:39SPEAKER_28: And Mississippi spends thousands of dollars less per student than Minnesota.
- 42:44SPEAKER_28: Mississippi spends less money, gets better results, and their achievement gaps are closing, while ours are getting worse.
- 42:50SPEAKER_28: Think about it.
- 42:51SPEAKER_28: It's time for real education reform so Minnesota can catch up to Mississippi.
- 42:56SPEAKER_28: Think about it.
- 42:57SPEAKER_28: It's brought to you by Center of the American Experiment, Minnesota's think tank.
- 43:01SPEAKER_54: Do you owe money to the IRS that you can't pay?

- 44:07SPEAKER_02: And that's the advisor advantage you get from Hallway North Real Estate Advisors.

- 45:09SPEAKER_28: A famous politician once said, you're entitled to your opinion, but you are not entitled to your own facts.
- 45:15SPEAKER_28: But in a world full of AI and fake news, where can Minnesotans find the facts?
- 45:20SPEAKER_28: Center of the American Experiment is Minnesota's go-to source for fact-based analysis and common sense solutions for taxes, energy, public safety, and our kids' education.

- 45:40SPEAKER_16: Good morning, John, Devin.
- 45:42SPEAKER_16: John, I agree with you.
- 45:43SPEAKER_16: Let's stay positive about the voting and the hopes that we will get some of these offices into our column.
- 45:50SPEAKER_16: Did he say boating?
- 45:52SPEAKER_02: Sounded like he said let's let's stay pa I I agree.
- 45:55SPEAKER_02: We should stay positive about the voting.
- 45:56SPEAKER_03: I agree too.
- 45:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah, has it got a little cold there, Scott?
- 46:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah, get well soon, Scott.
- 46:03SPEAKER_02: It translated voting too, so maybe in my mind just transposed it that way.
- 46:08SPEAKER_02: I'm sorry, Scott.
- 46:08SPEAKER_02: This is unfair.
- 46:09SPEAKER_02: Let me start you over.
- 46:12SPEAKER_16: John, I agree with you.
- 46:13SPEAKER_16: Let's stay positive about the voting and the hope that we will get some of these offices into our column as conservatives.
- 46:22SPEAKER_16: However, when they have roving voting moves going around between 52 Democratic Rangles, how do we even know that here's something valid?
- 46:42SPEAKER_16: We're gonna have to really hit our bottom before people in the cookie wake up.
- 46:47SPEAKER_16: And it's sad to have to go through all this, but I just think we gotta hit our bottom.
- 46:54SPEAKER_16: And we're just not there yet.
- 46:56SPEAKER_16: But again, let's be positive.
- 46:58SPEAKER_16: But roving, voting, machines going around to democratic strongholds.
- 47:04SPEAKER_16: Are you kidding me?
- 47:05SPEAKER_02: So a couple of things here, Scott.
- 47:06SPEAKER_02: First off, I'm with Devin.
- 47:07SPEAKER_02: I hope you feel better because it sounds like you might be fighting a bit of a bit of a bit of a cold.
- 47:11SPEAKER_02: Uh you do however you want to do this election.
- 47:16SPEAKER_02: Let me just say that up front.
- 47:17SPEAKER_02: I don't want to tell you what to do.
- 47:18SPEAKER_02: I I will I will say that when it comes to the pop-up voting, this is not new.
- 47:23SPEAKER_02: They do this every single election cycle.
- 47:25SPEAKER_02: The ballot harvesting is not illegal.
- 47:27SPEAKER_02: They do it every election cycle.
- 47:29SPEAKER_02: And even doing that every single election cycle, depending on what we're talking about in terms of the races, but they are not massive blowouts of Republicans.
- 47:41SPEAKER_02: You have Democrats who go and grab control.
- 47:44SPEAKER_02: And that happened during the trifecta.
- 47:46SPEAKER_02: But when they had the trifecta, they also just eked by with a couple of seats to go and claim that trifecta.
- 47:53SPEAKER_02: This wasn't a massive, you know, 10 point, 20 point advantage against the Republicans.
- 48:00SPEAKER_02: And then the last election cycle, Republicans were able to have the tiority in the House.
- 48:04SPEAKER_02: The Senate only had a couple of seats of a majority, and the Republicans were able to blunt the damage of Democrats.
- 48:15SPEAKER_02: And we could be in a very similar situation this uh time around as well.
- 48:20SPEAKER_02: I think the Republicans' chances are better than they have been in years past.
- 48:25SPEAKER_02: But everything that we mentioned in terms of the way that they're trying to go and game the system, this happens every single election cycle.
- 48:32SPEAKER_02: I think this election cycle is going to be a lot tighter because there's a lot more frustration, certainly on the right, you know, as the left goes and continues to push Trump derangement syndrome to try to go and turn the vote out.
- 48:46SPEAKER_02: But I say this every single election cycle, and this election cycle is no different, and I've already said it this morning.
- 48:52SPEAKER_02: Listen, whatever the outcome is, we'll persevere, we'll work through it.
- 48:55SPEAKER_02: We always do.
- 48:56SPEAKER_02: I'm remaining positive.
- 48:57SPEAKER_02: You never know what's going to happen.
- 49:00SPEAKER_02: But even if it's the worst of the worst, you know, I'm not gonna hang my head low because the only way through it, right?
- 49:08SPEAKER_02: The only way out is to go through it.
- 49:09SPEAKER_02: You can't just give up, the fight continues.
- 49:12SPEAKER_02: And I don't mean to sound defeated, so I'm just trying to kind of put everybody, if it helps, on a more even keel.
- 49:18SPEAKER_02: I, for one, am remaining positive, but like I said, I would much rather remain positive over the course of the next week than sitting back all, you know, incredibly doom and gloom.
- 49:30SPEAKER_07: Hey John, got a new uh nickname for the communist uh Bon Piker, and then it's your dupe gami.
- 49:41SPEAKER_02: Well, you'll have to go and drop me a text and write it out because unfortunately uh the audio was scrambled uh when discussing the communist Howard Stern.
- 49:50SPEAKER_02: That's what he is.
- 49:51SPEAKER_02: And I'm talking again, I'm talking old Howard Stern.
- 49:55SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 49:55SPEAKER_02: I mean, this new Howard Stern is almost like a Hassan Piker light for crying out loud.
- 50:02SPEAKER_02: I'm talking about the old, you know, 90s Stern where he gained all of his popularity through saying, you know, over-the-top things on the radio, and it was like, oh my gosh.
- 50:12SPEAKER_02: You know, people tuned in because they wanted to hear what he was gonna say every day, and those are people that loved him, and then the people that hated him tuned in because they wanted to hear what he was gonna say every single day.
- 50:23SPEAKER_02: And this is the only reason why Hassan Piker has gained any sort of claim to fame and notoriety is because he's just following, because there is nothing new under the sun.
- 50:32SPEAKER_02: This has all been done before.
- 50:33SPEAKER_02: Human nature is human nature, and it's been like that since the dawn of man.
- 50:38SPEAKER_02: Now he's just doing what other individuals have done in the past.
- 50:41SPEAKER_02: He's just a communist doing it.
- 50:42SPEAKER_02: That's all.
- 50:44SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 50:44SPEAKER_02: Setting the stage as we cover other comments relating to terrorism.
- 50:49SPEAKER_02: Here we had potential actual terrorism.
- 50:52SPEAKER_02: A United Airlines flight was turned around mid-air after a 25-year-old man made a terroristic threat on his phone.
- 50:59SPEAKER_02: This was a United flight 1681.
- 51:01SPEAKER_02: It took off Saturday night, carrying 150 passengers, six crew members from Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, destined for Newark at Liberty International.
- 51:11SPEAKER_02: As the flight was in air, a flight attendant allegedly saw Dante Malin texting that he was going to hijack the aircraft and reported the incident to the pilots.
- 51:24SPEAKER_02: The pilots told aircraft control, air traffic control that they handled the situation without saying anything to the passenger suspected of making the threats.
- 51:32SPEAKER_02: The passenger does not know anything going on.
- 51:34SPEAKER_02: The flight attendant saw him texting and that he was going to hijack the aircraft.
- 51:39SPEAKER_02: They called me.
- 51:40SPEAKER_02: We went a lockdown and we returned to Vegas.
- 51:42SPEAKER_02: One of the pilots said.
- 52:28SPEAKER_44: Negative.
- 52:29SPEAKER_44: Uh we'll just be me.
- 52:30SPEAKER_44: Uh law enforcement at the gate.
- 52:34SPEAKER_02: Uh, Las Vegas Police Department told the Daily Wired the officers arrested uh Milney, I think I said his name wrong before, on charges of making threats or providing false information related to an act of terrorism.
- 52:46SPEAKER_02: United Airlines declined to provide uh further details on what the flight attendant saw, but confirmed that the flight was delayed overnight and departed for Newark the next morning.
- 52:55SPEAKER_02: And the story is probably now going to get memory holed, and we're never going to find out exactly if this individual had intended on actually hijacking this United Airlines flight, or he was like uh that uh joke going around of the guys that were standing in line waiting to get on the plane and they were munching on some food uh that they had purchased while waiting for the flight, and they were tacos, and somebody said, These tacos are the bomb, yo, and then Secret Service came in and took them away.
- 53:24SPEAKER_02: That's probably not the thing you want to do while you're on a flight, though, is text to somebody that you're going to hijack it.
- 53:29SPEAKER_02: That just seems like a really, really bad move.
- 53:32SPEAKER_02: But because a story like this could bring about uh bring about heightened awareness and talk about those that want to actually go and harm America, which at this point in time, right, is beneficial for Republicans versus Democrats, the story will simply fall by the wayside and we'll never hear about it again.
- 53:49SPEAKER_02: I'll try to keep an eye on it, though, just in case.
- 53:52SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 53:53SPEAKER_02: Let's dive into the big uh controversy uh that uh took place uh overnight.
- 53:58SPEAKER_02: Hassan Piker.
- 54:00SPEAKER_02: So I want to get to this story via what John Phelan had to say about it yesterday before we get into the actual event.
- 54:09SPEAKER_02: I do have a Channel 5 recap.
- 54:12SPEAKER_02: Hassan Piker event at Minnesota in Minnesota uh draws uh backlash and splits a DFL party a week before the election.
- 54:21SPEAKER_02: Only by so much, though.
- 54:23SPEAKER_02: Okay, and I'll explain.
- 54:25SPEAKER_02: Because the double standard is on full display in all of this.
- 54:29SPEAKER_02: Right?
- 54:29SPEAKER_02: Here you have the most vile progressive, and I'll give you the examples here in just a moment.
- 54:35SPEAKER_02: The most vile progressive right now, a progressive commentator in Hassan Piker.
- 54:42SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 54:43SPEAKER_02: And yet you had Richard Carlbaum, the DFL chair, you had him putting up posts over the suggestion that President Donald Trump would be visiting Minnesota, and he may still this week, we don't know.
- 54:59SPEAKER_02: But that if President Donald Trump visits Minnesota, will the Republican candidates be standing on stage with him?
- 55:06SPEAKER_02: Will they call will they push back on all of his heated rhetoric and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 55:12SPEAKER_02: And yet here you have, again, the most vile, inflammatory, and offensive progressive commentator available coming here to the Twin Cities.
- 55:22SPEAKER_02: And while you do have a handful of individuals calling him out, that's enough to quell the controversy.
- 55:28SPEAKER_02: You see, on the left, if you hit a couple of Democrats that go and call out somebody who is vile like Hassan Piker, then you can dismiss any of the other controversies attached to it, wherein Republicans never get that and are never afforded that opportunity.
- 55:45SPEAKER_02: I'll give you the further example coming up in just a moment.
- 55:48SPEAKER_02: But John Phelan wrote this yesterday.
- 55:50SPEAKER_02: Hassan Piker has never demonstrated any deep familiarity with any topic he has ever opined on.
- 55:57SPEAKER_02: And yet, we are told a substantial share of left-leaning youth hangs on his every word.
- 56:04SPEAKER_02: What he does have, like most of the high-profile podcasters, is a flair for saying attention-grabbing things, such as his infamous quote that America deserved 9-11.
- 56:16SPEAKER_02: And feeling 100% correct in that assessment.
- 56:19SPEAKER_02: You take away the inflammatory rhetoric, and what you're left with is a tall communist nobody.
- 56:25SPEAKER_02: That's it.
- 56:28SPEAKER_02: And by the way, as I mentioned, this serves as a really good example because the headline of his piece is DFLers shouldn't bring the guy who said America deserves 9-11.
- 56:37SPEAKER_02: He said much worse, but he says he shouldn't bring it to Tom Burnett's home state, and he's absolutely right.
- 56:44SPEAKER_02: But it does serve as a great example of the difference between the left and the right.
- 56:48SPEAKER_02: All it took was uh you had the the DFL chair, Ken Martin, uh you had Senator Ron Latz, we'll get to his comments coming up.
- 56:58SPEAKER_02: You had a few individuals, you had a spokesperson for uh Lamy Clobichar pushback on this.
- 57:05SPEAKER_02: And then that's enough.
- 57:06SPEAKER_02: Okay, you know, those people condemned it, but it can go ahead and continue.
- 57:09SPEAKER_02: It's not a big deal that Ilhan Omar was there and Omar Fate was hosting this.
- 57:13SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 57:15SPEAKER_02: You know, the left gets the rational pass with a few common sense criticisms, while the right will always be treated equally.
- 57:25SPEAKER_02: If one is bad, then all are bad.
- 57:29SPEAKER_02: Now, as we dive into this and get ready to kick off the second hour here on the show, again, 651-964-0294 is the number if you want to leave a comment on the blaster line.
- 57:38SPEAKER_02: Fox News recently went out and interviewed a handful of University of Michigan students to prove just how stupid they are.
- 57:47SPEAKER_02: This is who Hassan Piker appeals to.
- 57:50SPEAKER_02: He appeals to people like Ilhan Omar because she's just as incendiary and just as much as a Marxist communist as Hassan Piker is.
- 58:00SPEAKER_02: So they see a mutual benefit of them paling around together, their being on stage at this podcast to serve them both.
- 58:06SPEAKER_02: It raised Hassan's profile because as he demonstrates, there's a clip that I have of him standing next to Minneapolis City Councilmember Robin Wansley, and he goes, he calls himself the most dangerous man in America.
- 58:18SPEAKER_02: As a matter of fact, I'll go ahead, I'll just play it for you now.
- 58:20SPEAKER_35: Hey y'all, it's Councilmember Robin Wansley.
- 58:22SPEAKER_35: I'm here with Hassan Vikers.
- 58:25SPEAKER_35: Absolutely the most dangerous man in America, apparently.
- 58:28SPEAKER_02: Yeah, see, it's mutually beneficial for these communists to have their back.
- 58:33SPEAKER_02: But the individuals they're influencing are people like these college students, who are incredibly stupid because they've been indoctrinated through the public education system, which has turned into just little factories pumping out radical leftists.
- 58:47SPEAKER_00: Socialism doesn't mean like anti-capitalism.
- 58:51SPEAKER_00: Based off what I learned in my gov class, it's basically like spending more money on helping society.
- 58:55SPEAKER_51: Socialism to me is a concept in politics where everybody gets a little bit of everything.
- 59:01SPEAKER_52: Everybody benefits and everybody is really taking care of kind of that um social net that you see in other types of um politics.
- 59:11SPEAKER_50: I think a lot of people get sort of the economic system of socialism confused with the government system of communism.
- 59:23SPEAKER_02: It I again not surprised, but let us never not be shocked or taken aback by the level of ignorance of our young people.
- 59:38SPEAKER_02: This is why they're so easily influenced by commie, Howard Stern, wannabes like Hassan Piker, and why they are so easily convinced to go with their feelings and emotions when it comes to who they want to elect into office.
- 59:55SPEAKER_02: The Democrats have done a bang up successful job of indoctrinating an entire generation into not knowing what socialism actually brings about, the horrible ramifications of socialism.
- 1:00:10SPEAKER_02: It's never worked.
- 1:00:11SPEAKER_02: It'll never work now, it never worked back then.
- 1:00:14SPEAKER_02: But these individuals have never been taught that.
- 1:00:18SPEAKER_02: They've been taught, oh, you know, just socialism means you just everybody's gets what they want and everything is fair and it's all great, and it's and it's and it's wonderful.
- 1:00:27SPEAKER_02: Fascinating to talk to.org on the Mixed LR app, which is completely free.
- 1:00:56SPEAKER_02: And of course, you can watch Center of the American Experiment Facebook and YouTube, also on my X feed as well.
- 1:01:02SPEAKER_02: John Phelan writes on AmericanExperiment.org, DFLers shouldn't bring, be bringing the guy who said America deserved 9-11 to Tom Burnett's home state.
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_02: This proved to be too spicy, even for professional uh wind-up merchants like Piker, who subsequently apologized for that statement.
- 1:01:22SPEAKER_02: Sure, we don't have to apologize for something.
- 1:01:25SPEAKER_02: Sure, uh don't we all have to apologize for something time to time?
- 1:01:28SPEAKER_02: Not rinsing out the mug before putting it in the dishwasher, forgetting the pineapple, saying that America deserved an attack and killed 3,000 innocent people.
- 1:01:36SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
- 1:01:39SPEAKER_02: What is especially obnoxious about Pikers' remarks is that 9-11 didn't happen to America.
- 1:01:45SPEAKER_02: It happened to Americans.
- 1:01:47SPEAKER_02: And it happened to Minnesotans, too.
- 1:01:50SPEAKER_02: Wyzet is Gordy Amoth, Gary Kochler from St.
- 1:01:55SPEAKER_02: Paul died in the Twin Towers.
- 1:01:56SPEAKER_02: It happened to Minnesotas like Max Bielkey from Alexandria, the last combat soldier to leave Vietnam, who was at the Pentagon advocating for veterans when it was attacked.
- 1:02:06SPEAKER_02: It happened to Minnesotans from Bloomington, one of the leaders of the historic flight back on 9-11.
- 1:02:12SPEAKER_02: To someone like Piker, such people are merely fodder for a product provocative quote intended to boost his audience and revenues.
- 1:02:19SPEAKER_02: While it is depressing that such a charlatan apparently has such a large audience, he is, of course.
- 1:02:25SPEAKER_02: He has a First Amendment right to peddle whatever moronic offensive tripe he wishes.
- 1:02:29SPEAKER_02: To their credit, some DFLers have condemned this, but words are cheap.
- 1:02:33SPEAKER_02: They will count for little unless the party avails itself for numerous disciplinary tools at its disposal.
- 1:02:39SPEAKER_02: And listen, I was wrong in a bit of my assessment of Piker.
- 1:02:41SPEAKER_02: He is more popular than I thought.
- 1:02:42SPEAKER_02: He's just popular among that younger group of individuals, like those indoctrinated and ignorant University of Michigan students that I played for you in just a moment ago.
- 1:02:56SPEAKER_02: All right, let's get back to a few of your thoughts from the blaster line.
- 1:03:00SPEAKER_02: 651-964-0294.
- 1:03:04SPEAKER_21: Morning, John.
- 1:03:04SPEAKER_21: Alex, friend of the show.
- 1:03:06SPEAKER_21: You hit the nail on the head once again.
- 1:03:10SPEAKER_21: Our youth, a big, great disservice to our youth, is our public education system.
- 1:03:17SPEAKER_21: It is a factory pumping out stupid leftist idiots.
- 1:03:23SPEAKER_21: And here's a quote that I was given when I was younger, just starting to get into the political world.
- 1:03:30SPEAKER_21: You want to know what the difference between a socialist and a communist is?
- 1:03:35SPEAKER_21: The socialist is too stupid to know that they are a communist.
- 1:03:41SPEAKER_21: New slash folks.
- 1:03:49SPEAKER_21: They were communists.
- 1:03:52SPEAKER_02: You make an excellent point.
- 1:03:53SPEAKER_02: And to the point on education, I've had a stack of education stories for a while.
- 1:03:57SPEAKER_02: They fall into the Evergreen category.
- 1:03:59SPEAKER_02: And so they've been getting shifted to the bottom of the stack because they're stories that are relevant regardless of whether or not I cover it this week or a month from now.
- 1:04:09SPEAKER_02: But you have a generation or more that's been indoctrinated into a lot of different things.
- 1:04:17SPEAKER_02: One, not knowing what socialism and communism really entails, that individuals like Hassan Piker are to be revered and admired, but they've also been indoctrinated into justifying the fraud.
- 1:04:30SPEAKER_02: I have an article here, uh Daily Wire.
- 1:04:33SPEAKER_02: I'm not going to get into the details of these.
- 1:04:34SPEAKER_02: I just want to share with you the quick points because I want to get to this podcast from yesterday that took place.
- 1:04:40SPEAKER_02: But the Daily Wire has a lengthy piece.
- 1:04:44SPEAKER_02: From the ABCs to jihad, a probe blows the lid off of what schools are teaching our kids.
- 1:04:49SPEAKER_02: Students across the country have been taught to join the resistance against settler colonialism while being taught a sanitized view of Islamic jihad.
- 1:04:59SPEAKER_02: A damning probe into major school districts revealed on Wednesday.
- 1:05:03SPEAKER_02: Why do you think Hassan Piker, even though he had to apologize because the outcry against it got too great in terms of 9-11, you know, Americans deserving 9-11?
- 1:05:14SPEAKER_02: Make no mistake, there's a hand, there's a lot of young people that relate to what he said because they've been taught this, just like the Daily Wire article says, this sanitized view of Islamic jihad.
- 1:05:24SPEAKER_02: Catherine Wigfall has a piece out.
- 1:05:26SPEAKER_02: Minnesota trying to license a worldview with its new ethnic study standards.
- 1:05:31SPEAKER_02: This is straight up Marxist ideology, oppressor and the oppressed.
- 1:05:38SPEAKER_02: Unmasking the push for explicit content in your kids' schools.
- 1:05:43SPEAKER_02: It's all about the indoctrination.
- 1:05:45SPEAKER_02: Alpha News had a piece recently.
- 1:05:48SPEAKER_02: Christine Trowen, education advocate, warns about the rise in school board candidates prioritizing ideological issues over academic achievement, highlighting the importance of local school board election.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_02: Noting that they manage a significant portion of the state's budget, Trowing emphasizes the need for candidates who are dedicated to managing their districts effectively and align with voters' values.
- 1:06:11SPEAKER_02: Education Minnesota, other school districts around the country, the teachers' unions, they've done a bang of job driving out rational, sane teachers.
- 1:06:19SPEAKER_02: If you are a rational, sane teacher and you don't fall into the category of one I'm describing, I'm not talking about you.
- 1:06:24SPEAKER_02: I'm talking about the rest of them.
- 1:06:27SPEAKER_02: But they've driven a lot of really good quality teachers who just want to educate the students out of the public education system, which has invited more of this indoctrination taking place.
- 1:06:38SPEAKER_02: And these are the very individuals that Hassan Piker, the would-be communist Howard Stern, is appealing to.
- 1:07:23SPEAKER_02: So let me set the stage again as we get into this podcast recording and the controversy surrounding it.
- 1:07:32SPEAKER_02: I want to start here.
- 1:07:35SPEAKER_02: And I want to paint a scenario for you, okay?
- 1:07:38SPEAKER_02: Just bear with me.
- 1:07:40SPEAKER_02: Imagine for just a moment that you had Representative Pete Stauber or Tom Emmer.
- 1:07:47SPEAKER_02: Imagine that they were part of a podcast hosted by somebody else.
- 1:07:54SPEAKER_02: Let's say I hosted it, okay?
- 1:07:56SPEAKER_02: Let's say I had him here on the show.
- 1:07:58SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:07:59SPEAKER_02: And they brought a conservative streamer to go and, you know, just pick whoever you want, because it doesn't matter, for my analogy.
- 1:08:09SPEAKER_02: But you have, you know, you have a representative Stauber or Emmer up on stage, somebody's hosting a podcast, and they have a streamer who gets up on stage and then talks about how uh the victims, the children and the families of the Annunciation school shooting deserved what they got because of the evils of Christianity.
- 1:08:33SPEAKER_02: Just imagine the outrage that would ensue.
- 1:08:37SPEAKER_02: Or if that person being hosted had said that on a previous occasion and was now sharing the stage with Republican representatives in a friendly, non-combative fashion.
- 1:08:50SPEAKER_02: Like it would they were supporting this individual who said these horrible things.
- 1:08:54SPEAKER_02: Imagine that same individual had said that they would vote for North Korea versus South Korea every single time.
- 1:09:02SPEAKER_02: Imagine if they said it doesn't matter if children were shot and killed at Annunciation.
- 1:09:09SPEAKER_02: Imagine if they called a group of people a racial slur on stage.
- 1:09:17SPEAKER_02: Imagine if they said that Al-Qaeda was a justified organization.
- 1:09:26SPEAKER_02: If you haven't figured out what I'm doing here, uh I'll I'll let you in on it in just uh just a moment.
- 1:09:32SPEAKER_02: Maybe they made a comment like teachers who peddle LGBTQ issues or support uh children getting transgender drugs or surgery should be murdered.
- 1:09:43SPEAKER_02: Imagine any conservative commentator who made those comments and then was suddenly going and sharing a stage with Representative Pete Stauber or Representative Tom Emmer.
- 1:09:54SPEAKER_02: You and I can both just envision the massive amount of outrage that would legitimately ensue, even though that person would have every single right to their free speech that the Constitution affords them.
- 1:10:10SPEAKER_02: The outrage would be every single story, this would be nationwide if any little portion of these over-the-top egregious examples actually came to fruition.
- 1:10:24SPEAKER_02: And yet that's essentially what happened yesterday during this I Am the Host podcast, hosted by Omar Fate with Hassan Piker and Nilhan Omar.
- 1:10:34SPEAKER_02: It was Hassan Piker who said America deserved 9-11 during a Twitch live stream, reacting to an interview featuring Republican Dan Crenshaw.
- 1:10:43SPEAKER_02: He also said the United States had brought the attack on itself.
- 1:10:48SPEAKER_02: Piker, by the way, did subsequently only bec only because the outrage got too loud.
- 1:10:54SPEAKER_02: That's the only reason why.
- 1:10:55SPEAKER_02: He called his wording inappropriate and described it as an attempt of satire.
- 1:11:00SPEAKER_02: But he also said in April of 26th that I would vote for Hamas over Israel every time.
- 1:11:06SPEAKER_02: He also said in May of 2024, it doesn't matter if rape happened during October 7th.
- 1:11:15SPEAKER_02: He called Orthodox Jews inbred in 2024.
- 1:11:22SPEAKER_02: He said Hamas is a thousand times better than Israel.
- 1:11:25SPEAKER_02: Like I ran out of examples to share with you in my little analogy.
- 1:11:31SPEAKER_02: Because what he says is so completely vile, and then you get to comparing Zionists to neo-Nazis, and now we're just venturing into Governor Dim Wall's commentary territory.
- 1:11:42SPEAKER_02: He said the landlords deserved to be murdered.
- 1:11:45SPEAKER_02: Hassan Piker called for the death of Rick Scott.
- 1:11:51SPEAKER_02: The statements was among comments examined in the September 26th Axios interview.
- 1:11:57SPEAKER_02: He says America is worse than Al-Qaeda pound for pound.
- 1:12:03SPEAKER_02: He suggested that Anne Frank would have supported the Houthis.
- 1:12:09SPEAKER_02: And yet he took to the stage in Minneapolis yesterday to host a podcast with Ilhan Omar, who, by the way, looked pathetic.
- 1:12:22SPEAKER_02: If you've seen any of the footage of the podcast recording yesterday, again, this is not the Ilhan Omar that we're all used to.
- 1:12:30SPEAKER_02: The firebrand behind the podium talking about the evils of America and President Donald Trump.
- 1:12:37SPEAKER_02: You know, the the the Ilhan Omar that you hear in clips like this.
- 1:12:40SPEAKER_02: No, this wasn't Ilhan Omar kind of slouched down in her chair, you know, just kind of just kind of talking.
- 1:12:48SPEAKER_02: Not a whole lot of confidence going on, acting smug.
- 1:12:51SPEAKER_02: As a matter of fact, here's how the opening commentary went between Omar Fate, Ilhan Omar, and Hassan Piker during the recording of that podcast yesterday.
- 1:13:05SPEAKER_41: Thank you both so much for being here.
- 1:13:07SPEAKER_41: And uh, Ilhan, I know that things have been pretty tense for you and your family as well.
- 1:13:11SPEAKER_41: We appreciate uh your courage and never backing down and not being silenced.
- 1:13:15SPEAKER_41: And during one of the worst weeks of your life, you're still here showing up, not just for us, but for the community.
- 1:13:20SPEAKER_41: And so I want to say that we are so grateful and thank you so much.
- 1:13:25SPEAKER_02: By the way, during one of the worst weeks of her life, and apparently, remember, we're supposed to be led to believe that she was running in fear from war-torn Somalia when she came here to the United States, and yet, oh, this is one of the worst weeks of her life.
- 1:13:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, she had federal agents come to her home, grab, you know, some alleged DNA, a laptop, and a phone, all while going and folding her clothes and tidying up before they left.
- 1:13:54SPEAKER_02: And according to Omar Fate, it's just been the worst couple of weeks of Ilhan Omar's life.
- 1:14:04SPEAKER_33: I mean, it's it's interesting you chose to not have the Minnesota Somali flag.
- 1:14:11SPEAKER_33: Am I the only one that noticed?
- 1:14:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he didn't.
- 1:14:19SPEAKER_02: Uh so Ilhan Omar Ilhan Omar's first statement was pointing to how the new Minnesota Somali flag wasn't there up on stage.
- 1:14:28SPEAKER_02: What was though was the American flag and the Somali flag like in a little holder on the desk that Omar Fate was uh speaking from behind.
- 1:14:38SPEAKER_02: Listen, as a side note, it was like a really bad podcast.
- 1:14:41SPEAKER_02: Like it was just like Omar Fate is not a good uh host.
- 1:14:45SPEAKER_02: Color me surprised, right?
- 1:14:47SPEAKER_02: All right, more of your comments coming up.
- 1:14:49SPEAKER_02: I have more audio to share from this event uh yesterday, and of course, a lot of commentary, and I want to hear from you.

- 1:18:36SPEAKER_55: I've told you about the suboptimal reading, math, and science proficiency of students in our school district.
- 1:18:42SPEAKER_55: Here's the solution.
- 1:18:43SPEAKER_55: Let teachers teach.
- 1:18:45SPEAKER_55: They were hired because of their expertise.
- 1:18:47SPEAKER_55: Let them run their classrooms and get them immediate help when a student acts up.
- 1:18:51SPEAKER_55: Minimize learning interruptions.
- 1:18:53SPEAKER_55: Let parents parent your child, your values.
- 1:18:56SPEAKER_55: Make sure your children are ready to go to school, learn, and respect their teachers and classmates.
- 1:19:02SPEAKER_55: Also make sure that your children understand the consequences if they don't.
- 1:19:06SPEAKER_55: Let students learn, stick to the basics, teach them how to think critically and have civil discussions with those who don't agree with them.
- 1:19:13SPEAKER_55: Hold our superintendent contractually accountable for our students' academic proficiency and our district's enrollment growth.
- 1:19:20SPEAKER_55: That's how we get our district back on the right track.
- 1:19:22SPEAKER_55: If you want to learn more about where I stand on the issues facing our school district, go to reelectjoeescott.com.
- 1:19:33SPEAKER_22: The thing that scares me about the socialism thing is I've been in sales most of my life.
- 1:19:40SPEAKER_22: And it works this way for humanity in general is 20% of the people make 80% of the fails.
- 1:19:48SPEAKER_22: Which leaves the other 80% to make up 20% of the fail.
- 1:19:52SPEAKER_22: That scares me about socialism because there's no way anyone can be equal.
- 1:19:59SPEAKER_22: It's just kind of a way of have a great game.
- 1:20:11SPEAKER_44: Hucksters, whatever you want to call them.
- 1:20:14SPEAKER_44: What scares the hell out of me are those people who are applauding.
- 1:20:21SPEAKER_02: So Hassan Piker's appearance in Minnesota a week before the election, working off a story here from uh Channel 5.
- 1:20:29SPEAKER_02: Did draw backlash from Republicans and split the DFL party.
- 1:20:32SPEAKER_02: Okay, whatever.
- 1:20:33SPEAKER_02: I listen, it did, but it didn't.
- 1:20:39SPEAKER_02: It's all for show.
- 1:20:40SPEAKER_02: It's all political theater.
- 1:20:42SPEAKER_02: You know, you're Ron Latts, you're Ken Martins, they have to go and speak out against this.
- 1:20:47SPEAKER_02: They don't want to, though.
- 1:20:49SPEAKER_02: I I'd like to give them more credibility, but I simply can't.
- 1:20:52SPEAKER_02: Because that's all that'll happen.
- 1:20:54SPEAKER_02: You get a free pass.
- 1:20:56SPEAKER_02: It's the same tactic that they use.
- 1:20:58SPEAKER_02: And I have examples of this in just a moment.
- 1:21:00SPEAKER_02: But this whole controversy swirling around Ilhan Omar.
- 1:21:06SPEAKER_02: The left has been taking advantage of the situation by using this tactic of pointing on one potential allegation, even though we don't know specifically, apart from the affidavit and the name change reveal, we don't know specifically what the federal government may or may not indict Ilhan Omar on.
- 1:21:25SPEAKER_02: We're all just still speculating.
- 1:21:26SPEAKER_02: But the Democrats, the leftists, have taken to dismissing one potential allegation and then it wipes out all the other ones.
- 1:21:36SPEAKER_02: It's kind of like when I used to be a public real estate auctioneer and they were uh going and auction auctioning off second and third loans on a home.
- 1:21:44SPEAKER_02: But if you could get uh the home based off of the default of the first loan, it wiped out all the other ones.
- 1:21:51SPEAKER_02: So you could take it.
- 1:21:52SPEAKER_02: That's it, that's essentially the tactic.
- 1:21:55SPEAKER_02: Piker deployed it yesterday.
- 1:21:57SPEAKER_02: I'll give you the example.
- 1:21:58SPEAKER_02: Sarah McBride, which is really comical because you have Sarah McBride, the man pretending to be a woman sitting in Congress, who is now also going and talking about dismissing Ilhan Omar using a fake name.
- 1:22:10SPEAKER_02: So a fake woman is complaining about another real woman using a fake name.
- 1:22:14SPEAKER_02: Make it all make sense.
- 1:22:17SPEAKER_02: Now, some DFLers in the Minnesota legislature signed a message urging Pikers' event in Minnesota to be canceled, led by Senator Ron Latts of St.
- 1:22:26SPEAKER_02: Louis Park.
- 1:22:26SPEAKER_02: Minnesotans reject hate, was the joint statement from half a dozen DFL state senators.
- 1:22:31SPEAKER_02: We strongly object to giving a platform and legitimacy for Hassan Piker and a nationally known Jew hater, homophobe, and misogynist.
- 1:22:40SPEAKER_02: They did that because they had to.
- 1:22:42SPEAKER_02: Let me put it another way.
- 1:22:44SPEAKER_02: If Hassan Piker was running for office against a Republican, uh, he would still go and get all the Democrat votes.
- 1:22:51SPEAKER_02: Uh, that's my opinion.
- 1:22:53SPEAKER_02: I'm just saying, I don't have any tangible evidence.
- 1:22:55SPEAKER_02: It's just based off of recent history.
- 1:22:58SPEAKER_02: Uh, we do not need violent rhetoric, anti-American rhetoric.
- 1:23:02SPEAKER_02: This is according to Republican gubernatorial candidate Lisa Damath.
- 1:23:05SPEAKER_02: Michelle Tefoya says she's still stunned any Democrat would invite him to speak.
- 1:23:08SPEAKER_02: This is a guy who is really anti-West, anti-American, anti-Israel, anti-Semitic, she told to Channel 5 uh eyewitness uh news.
- 1:23:17SPEAKER_02: So let's get to into a few of the comments that uh Piker uh made uh yesterday.
- 1:23:22SPEAKER_02: This was probably one of the most egregious where he went and uh referred to Republicans as being uh terrorists.
- 1:23:33SPEAKER_02: Here's what he had to say yesterday.
- 1:23:35SPEAKER_04: I'm not even gonna bring up the Republicans because they are the most un-American force in this country.
- 1:23:41SPEAKER_04: They're terrorists, they are terrorizing our neighborhoods, they're destroying what remains of the social fabric that holds us together.
- 1:23:49SPEAKER_04: It's completely unacceptable.
- 1:23:53SPEAKER_02: He's describing the leftists.
- 1:23:56SPEAKER_02: A better example of gaslighting I wouldn't be able to give you on the show this morning.
- 1:23:59SPEAKER_02: Piker's an activist.
- 1:24:01SPEAKER_02: He's not about solving problems.
- 1:24:03SPEAKER_02: He's not about helping people, he's not about personal achievement.
- 1:24:06SPEAKER_02: He's antithetical to meritocracy.
- 1:24:08SPEAKER_02: He's about retribution and punishment and tearing down his perceived enemies because that's the only way that he can envision his ideology coming to fruition is through the destruction of the opposition party.
- 1:24:23SPEAKER_02: Not through ideas, not through policy.
- 1:24:27SPEAKER_02: He knows that communists can't broadly win with their openly socialist policies.
- 1:24:33SPEAKER_02: It looks good and it sounds good to the brain-numbed, indoctrinated University of Michigan type students.
- 1:24:41SPEAKER_00: Socialism doesn't mean like anti-capitalism.
- 1:24:45SPEAKER_00: Based off what I learned in my gov class, it's basically like spending more money on helping society.
- 1:24:49SPEAKER_51: Socialism to me is a concept in politics where everybody gets a little bit of everything.
- 1:24:55SPEAKER_52: Everybody benefits, and everybody is really taking care of kind of that um social net that you see in other types of um politics.
- 1:25:05SPEAKER_50: I think a lot of people get the economic system of socialism confused with the government system of communism.
- 1:25:14SPEAKER_02: So you might get the young people and the handful of Democrats that are going and voting for these radicals who talk a good game when they are running for office, but then when they get into office, they fully move over into their complete communist and socialist beliefs and the way that they go and vote on various issues.
- 1:25:32SPEAKER_02: But still, broadly speaking, people reject socialism outright when it ends up inside of the government.
- 1:25:39SPEAKER_02: So again, he knows that he can't broadly win on these ridiculous, and I don't even think he cares.
- 1:25:45SPEAKER_02: He's all about making money.
- 1:25:46SPEAKER_02: That's all this is.
- 1:25:47SPEAKER_02: It's a grift.
- 1:25:49SPEAKER_02: So instead, he wants to go and destroy political opposition.
- 1:25:53SPEAKER_02: In his commentary, this is what he speaks of because he knows he can't go and win otherwise.
- 1:25:58SPEAKER_02: And again, it's gaslighting in how he and the leftists claim that this is what Trump does.
- 1:26:03SPEAKER_02: Everything that you hear from Hassan Piker in the way that he describes things is how they go and describe Trump.
- 1:26:08SPEAKER_02: When it's re in reality, it is exactly what they do.
- 1:26:16SPEAKER_02: Here's uh more from Hassan Piker uh yesterday talking about Operation Metro Surge and what he describes as the funny complications of federal agents being injured.
- 1:26:27SPEAKER_41: You came here, you came actually during the time of the protest downtown uh when it was pretty cold outside.
- 1:26:32SPEAKER_41: And uh I wanted just to ask you, what are some things that uh that stuck with you in your time during Operation Metro Surge here in Minnesota?
- 1:26:40SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I was taken aback by, well, first of all, I was taken aback by a cold boy.
- 1:26:46SPEAKER_04: I thought to myself, damn, these guys are gonna be extra racist to be deploying out here, you know, dudes from dudes, I don't want to say anything, but they were definitely from like Texas, you know what I mean?
- 1:26:57SPEAKER_04: Like they're not used to, they're not cut out for this climate.
- 1:27:00SPEAKER_04: We saw a lot of funny compilations as well, you know, a lot of a lot of hip bones were broken.
- 1:27:07SPEAKER_04: Officer Martinez down.
- 1:27:11SPEAKER_04: But um, but I was also inspired by the solidarity that I saw.
- 1:27:19SPEAKER_04: And it wasn't just the the networks that were very quickly propped up, the mutual aid that I saw, uh, the the protests that sparked up that said, we're not gonna take it.
- 1:27:32SPEAKER_04: We're not gonna we're not gonna sit aside and watch this administration come and rip our communities apart and kidnap our neighbors.
- 1:27:42SPEAKER_02: Funny complications of federal agents being injured.
- 1:27:48SPEAKER_02: It is the perfect example of how the leftists go and dehumanize their political enemies.
- 1:27:55SPEAKER_02: I see equals Trump, and therefore these individuals are not human.
- 1:28:00SPEAKER_02: Or they are the Gestapo, as Governor Dim Walls says.
- 1:28:06SPEAKER_02: But this is the only move that this clown has.
- 1:28:10SPEAKER_02: He has no real substance in his commentary.
- 1:28:13SPEAKER_02: He's not looking to build anybody up.
- 1:28:15SPEAKER_02: He just wants to destroy so that he can make money.
- 1:28:22SPEAKER_02: Let's get back to some of your thoughts.
- 1:28:24SPEAKER_02: 651-964-0294.
- 1:28:27SPEAKER_02: You can email John.justice at American Experiment.org.
- 1:28:30SPEAKER_18: Hey, good morning, John.
- 1:28:32SPEAKER_18: You know what scares me about the college students that are all about socialism is this entire country fought for what 50 years trying to rid the world of communism.
- 1:28:43SPEAKER_18: And everybody here knew it was a bad thing.
- 1:28:46SPEAKER_18: They knew how it started, they knew how it ended.
- 1:28:49SPEAKER_18: And now this new group of people have been able to convince that, oh, it was actually good.
- 1:28:55SPEAKER_18: If we went that far with them knowing it was bad and now thinking it's good, what else can they be convinced is good?
- 1:29:05SPEAKER_13: So Piker says that they're extra racist for being out there in the cold.
- 1:29:11SPEAKER_13: You gotta be kidding me, dude.
- 1:29:13SPEAKER_13: Maybe, just maybe, it's because people stay indoors when it's cold.
- 1:29:19SPEAKER_13: So they're easier to find.
- 1:29:22SPEAKER_13: What a tool.
- 1:29:23SPEAKER_02: There was a moment, this was posted yesterday outside of the building where the podcast was taking place, where Robin Wandsley was standing there uh with Hassan uh Piker.
- 1:29:33SPEAKER_02: And Hassan goes and calls himself the most dangerous uh person in America or some uh some notion like this here.
- 1:29:39SPEAKER_02: Listen to the clip.
- 1:29:40SPEAKER_35: Okay, y'all, it's Councilmember Robin Wandsley.
- 1:29:42SPEAKER_35: I'm here with Hassan Piker.
- 1:29:44SPEAKER_04: Absolutely dangerous man in America, apparently.
- 1:29:48SPEAKER_35: And I'm so excited to be standing next to Camp Bright.
- 1:29:51SPEAKER_35: And we're gonna go out, tell students to go vote, which, if you haven't yet, is that wise men until five o'clock, every vote matters.
- 1:29:59SPEAKER_35: So I hope to see you at the polls.
- 1:30:02SPEAKER_02: And again, all these radical communist leftists that associate with this communist Howard Stern wannabe, and listen, he's not the most dangerous man in America.
- 1:30:13SPEAKER_02: He's the most ignorant and inflammatory, and he's making a buck off of it.
- 1:30:17SPEAKER_02: And people are falling for this nonsense.
- 1:30:20SPEAKER_02: But the radical commune leftists in Minneapolis associating with this fool, right?
- 1:30:25SPEAKER_02: They're only able to successfully avoid political career-ending outrage because they falsely convinced a large enough percentage of Democrat voters and commentators that Trump is the equivalent of what they actually are.
- 1:30:38SPEAKER_02: Trump is the fascist dictator.
- 1:30:40SPEAKER_02: Republicans are terrorists.
- 1:30:42SPEAKER_02: So in their minds, in the minds of other leftists, they get a free pass for the most part from being incendiary commies.
- 1:30:50SPEAKER_02: And for those that do speak out, their criticism goes unwarranted because of Trump derangement syndrome.
- 1:30:56SPEAKER_02: Yes, he has a right to free speech.
- 1:30:59SPEAKER_02: But again, all it takes is a handful of Democrats that are willing to go and condemn what he says and suddenly, okay, listen, you had Democrats, you know, they uh they they condemned it, so it's all we're we're all we're all good now.
- 1:31:11SPEAKER_02: It's all it's all fine, you know.
- 1:31:12SPEAKER_02: We know what he says is awful, but there were Democrats that went and said that this was bad.
- 1:31:16SPEAKER_02: So, you know, we'll be done with the controversy.
- 1:31:19SPEAKER_02: Wherein, as I mentioned, if you set up the equivalent with any representative here in Minnesota of an individual saying even close to what Hassan Piker has said in terms of his over-the-top commentary, yeah, we'd be talking about it nationwide on the top-of-the-hour news headlines for at least a day, if not more.
- 1:31:41SPEAKER_36: Hi, John.
- 1:31:42SPEAKER_36: Um, Susie from Woodbury.
- 1:31:44SPEAKER_36: Two things.
- 1:31:45SPEAKER_36: Um if we get lucky enough to hold the House and the Senate on Tuesday, um, you know what's going to happen in Minneapolis.
- 1:31:55SPEAKER_36: It will be uh George Floyd times 100.
- 1:31:59SPEAKER_36: And secondly, we can only hope that these um generation of indoctrinated, lazy uh socialist students can continue their laziness and not show up at the polls.
- 1:32:09SPEAKER_08: Thanks.
- 1:32:12SPEAKER_08: Good morning, John Joe from Victoria.
- 1:32:14SPEAKER_08: This is why it's so important to take back the schools, because the first thing it is is the curriculum that taught history.
- 1:32:22SPEAKER_08: The history of the fight against communism.
- 1:32:25SPEAKER_08: What happened when China adopted communism?
- 1:32:27SPEAKER_08: What happened when you know the Soviet Union and the USSR use communism, what happened in humanity?
- 1:32:34SPEAKER_08: When you start removing from the publications of the children in schools, the consequences of history, you can start redefining definitions.
- 1:32:43SPEAKER_08: Communism is the you know the economic principle.
- 1:32:47SPEAKER_08: It's not you know, it's not social.
- 1:32:48SPEAKER_08: Socialism is just redefining all of the terms and then telling them that everyone gets free stuff for free all the time, and it's gonna be great, and there's no price tag, and you don't have to work for it.
- 1:33:00SPEAKER_08: That's the problem.
- 1:33:01SPEAKER_08: Have a great day.
- 1:33:02SPEAKER_02: So Democrats demand the Justice Department drop the investigation into Ilhan Omar.
- 1:33:08SPEAKER_02: Now, this is significant because here you have some 170 House Democrats that are basically not defending Ilhan Omar by acting like they're defending Ilhan Omar.
- 1:33:24SPEAKER_02: So I'll bring you details on this.
- 1:33:26SPEAKER_02: I have more audio to share, and yes, from yesterday's uh podcast uh recording.
- 1:33:32SPEAKER_02: Also, we're gonna get into why removing Ilhan Omar from Congress could be harder than Trump expects.
- 1:33:38SPEAKER_02: But unfortunately, this commentary um from uh a Fox News chief kind of falls into the same trap of what I'm gonna explain to you in just a moment, and how the left has taken on this tactic of going and saying, well, if I dismissed one of the potential allegations against Ilhan Omar, then it discredits all the allegations against Ilhan Omar.
- 1:33:59SPEAKER_02: It's coming up in just a moment here on the John Justice Show presented by American Experiment.
- 1:34:04SPEAKER_27: Our kids deserve a school board focused on what matters most: academic excellence.
- 1:34:10SPEAKER_27: That's why Rick Storley, Lisa Atkinson, and Amy Witt are stepping up for Prior Lake Savage Area schools.
- 1:34:17SPEAKER_27: The SAW Slate brings conservative common sense back to our classrooms, prioritizing core learning, student outcomes, and setting high standards for every student to succeed.
- 1:34:29SPEAKER_27: Do you see the need for strong schools?
- 1:34:31SPEAKER_27: Vote SAW.
- 1:34:33SPEAKER_27: Storly, Atkinson, and WIT.
- 1:34:35SPEAKER_27: For PLSAS School Board on November 3rd.
- 1:34:38SPEAKER_27: Visit sawtheneed.com.
- 1:34:41SPEAKER_27: Paid for by campaign funds for Storly for PLSAS, Lisa Atkinson for School Board, and the committee to elect Amy Witt for School Board.
- 1:34:48SPEAKER_02: If your home needs any kind of help whatsoever, from quick fixes to major repairs, Ericsson Plumbing Heating, Air, and Electrical, they're absolutely dedicated to getting your home running right.
- 1:34:59SPEAKER_02: So a couple of months back, I took advantage of uh Ericsson and their iHeart My Home Club.
- 1:35:04SPEAKER_02: I had a team of their licensed experts that are all non-commissioned come in.
- 1:35:08SPEAKER_02: They descended upon my home like a group of professional and friendly soldiers coming in to tackle whatever problems they might face with my home.
- 1:35:19SPEAKER_02: So they did a full home mechanical analysis right on down to water quality testing, which was incredibly revealing, even handled some small issues right there on the spot at no extra charge that could have proved incredibly costly in the future.
- 1:35:30SPEAKER_02: Now, maybe you don't need that.
- 1:35:31SPEAKER_02: Maybe you know your home is healthy and running optimally, and you don't need the iHeart My Home Club full mechanical analysis.
- 1:35:37SPEAKER_02: You have a quick fix you need done.
- 1:35:39SPEAKER_02: This is where Ericsson also comes into play because for 43 years, they're one of your most trusted, if not the most trusted source when it comes to home service.
- 1:35:46SPEAKER_02: Those other companies that you used to be able to trust, you can't anymore.
- 1:35:49SPEAKER_02: A lot of them have been purchased by outside organizations.
- 1:35:52SPEAKER_02: They're no longer offering that unique personalized service that you can get with Ericsson Plumbing, heating air, and electrical.
- 1:36:00SPEAKER_02: Local family-owned team, again, with licensed experts across all the major trades.
- 1:36:06SPEAKER_02: Reach out to them today.
- 1:36:08SPEAKER_02: Simply give them a call.
- 1:36:09SPEAKER_02: That number is 763-783-4545.
- 1:36:12SPEAKER_02: That's 763-783-4545 for Ericsson Plumbing Heating Air and Electrical.
- 1:36:19SPEAKER_02: And tell them the John Justice says.
- 1:36:20SPEAKER_54: If you owe money to the IRS, you can't make the problem go away by yourself.
- 1:36:24SPEAKER_54: But with the help of Dan Pilla, you can get the problem solved once and for all.

- 1:37:07SPEAKER_54: And he can help you too.
- 1:37:08SPEAKER_54: Call now.
- 1:37:11SPEAKER_54: That's 8004 no tax.
- 1:37:13SPEAKER_54: And remember, there's no such thing as a hopeless tax case.
- 1:37:16SPEAKER_54: More info at taxhelponline.com.
- 1:37:20SPEAKER_14: Well, to be fair, you know, there is precedent for Democrats saying don't prosecute a person, and then it all drops.
- 1:37:28SPEAKER_14: I mean, you got Hillary, you got Biden, you got Biden's kid, you got Comey, you got, oh, what's the name of the guy who went after him, the lawyer?
- 1:37:37SPEAKER_14: I mean, all these people should be in jail.
- 1:37:40SPEAKER_14: They need criminal charges.
- 1:37:42SPEAKER_14: And, you know, like because Biden, you know, it's just not worth it.
- 1:37:45SPEAKER_14: He's just an old heart and everything should be sympathetic.
- 1:37:48SPEAKER_14: So he gets by with all of his crime, and his kid gets by with all the money laundering.
- 1:37:53SPEAKER_14: And so I guess there is a precedent.
- 1:37:57SPEAKER_14: So you can't blame him.
- 1:37:58SPEAKER_14: At least they try.
- 1:38:00SPEAKER_02: Thank you for the blast to 651 at 964-0294, or you can go and drop me an email, John.justice at American Experiment.org.
- 1:38:11SPEAKER_02: So in a letter to Attorney General Todd Blanch and the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Mark Wayne Mullen, the Democrats write that this month's raid on Omar's Washington, D.C.
- 1:38:23SPEAKER_02: uh residence and the investigation into her immigration history is akin to a doing that thing with my fingers, weaponization of the DOJ.
- 1:38:32SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:38:33SPEAKER_02: We write to express our unequivocal opposition to your raid of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's home.
- 1:38:40SPEAKER_02: We are profoundly alarmed.
- 1:38:42SPEAKER_02: Ooh, we get unequivocal and profoundly.
- 1:38:46SPEAKER_02: Nice.
- 1:38:48SPEAKER_02: We are profoundly alarmed by your weaponization of the federal law enforcement against her and demand that you refrain from taking any further action that could affect the outcome of any upcoming election.
- 1:38:59SPEAKER_02: Okay, that's important to note.
- 1:39:01SPEAKER_02: That's uh the Democrats led by Representative Jamie Raskin and uh Primilla uh Jaya Powell.
- 1:39:08SPEAKER_02: Uh, you have the weaponization of law enforcement to harass a sitting member of Congress 22 days before an election is an unprecedented and accept unacceptable move.
- 1:39:16SPEAKER_02: I'm just sharing with you the highlights.
- 1:39:18SPEAKER_02: This type of interference strips Minnesotans of their right to a free and fair election granted to them under the Constitution.
- 1:39:25SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:39:26SPEAKER_02: Your actions are clearly driven by a predetermined political outcome rather than an objective pursuit of justice.
- 1:39:32SPEAKER_02: Get mad at the judge who signed off it, you clowns.
- 1:39:36SPEAKER_02: Ja Powell told the New Republic that she's considering taking action against the Trump administration should Democrats win the House majority over the next month's election.
- 1:39:43SPEAKER_02: The investigation into Omar is the jumping off point.
- 1:39:47SPEAKER_02: She says we will actively and aggressively investigate this case.
- 1:39:50SPEAKER_02: We will probably have legislation to make sure that no funds are expended on this investigation.
- 1:39:57SPEAKER_02: Again, uh talk to that Democrat judge.
- 1:39:59SPEAKER_02: Actually, there were two of them.
- 1:40:00SPEAKER_02: Raskin suggested Democrats may even cut funding to certain agencies to ensure Congress has not approved funding for the Omar investigation.
- 1:40:08SPEAKER_02: So here's um what's noteworthy uh about this.
- 1:40:12SPEAKER_02: It's about the action into the investigation, but it has nothing to do with the allegations against Ilhan Omar.
- 1:40:19SPEAKER_02: Isn't that rather convenient?
- 1:40:24SPEAKER_02: We are against the weaponization of law enforcement, influencing the outcome of the election.
- 1:40:29SPEAKER_02: This is not at all about the alleged criminal activity of Ilhan Omar.
- 1:40:38SPEAKER_02: No, no, no.
- 1:40:38SPEAKER_02: This is about just the action to look into it.
- 1:40:41SPEAKER_02: It's a way that they can go and say face.
- 1:40:45SPEAKER_02: When the indictments come down, they can easily go and just dismiss them, even if they're egregious and they probably will be, even if they're irrefutable and they probably will be.
- 1:40:55SPEAKER_02: All this is is a means for 170 House Democrats to try to go and defend Ilhan Omar without putting them in a position of defending Ilhan Omar.
- 1:41:04SPEAKER_02: In the meantime, as the clown show uh continues on this, you have a fake woman defending a real woman with a fake name.
- 1:41:15SPEAKER_02: Again, the tactic is to discredit one claim, therefore discrediting all the claims.
- 1:41:20SPEAKER_02: So this is Congresswoman McBride, Congressman McBride, excuse me.
- 1:41:25SPEAKER_02: This is a dude, talking about the attempts to revoke Ilhan Omar's citizenship on specific claims.
- 1:41:39SPEAKER_02: By the way, tell me that you're a dude pretending to be a woman without telling me you're a dude pretending to be a woman, and then I present to you Congressman McBride and how they speak.
- 1:41:51SPEAKER_02: So, Maya, let me let me start this over.
- 1:41:59SPEAKER_34: A duly elected member of the United States House of Representatives, a citizen of the United States, they are trying to revoke her citizenship on claims that have already been disproven about uh her age at the point that her father's citizenship went through because she has stood up to this president and to Republicans in power.
- 1:42:19SPEAKER_34: It is a disgusting weaponization of people's livelihoods, of their lives, of their citizenship that should have no place in a free democratic society.
- 1:42:31SPEAKER_02: And again, you just dismiss one claim because that's just one claim.
- 1:42:35SPEAKER_02: And all the other ones, there's like a lot of them.
- 1:42:36SPEAKER_02: There's like a bunch.
- 1:42:37SPEAKER_02: We've covered them all on the show.
- 1:42:38SPEAKER_02: Uh Hassan Piker did the same thing uh yesterday when talking about how this federal probe, oh, it's just a paperwork issue.
- 1:42:48SPEAKER_02: That's all that's going on here, guys.
- 1:42:50SPEAKER_05: Surrounding it is that at most it's a paper work paperwork violation.
- 1:42:56SPEAKER_05: That's all this is.
- 1:42:57SPEAKER_05: Um I don't believe the accusations uh of the government, even if it was real, even if the accusations were real, although I don't believe they are.
- 1:43:08SPEAKER_05: At best, it's uh it's an additional form of paperwork that you would have to file uh and and fix the uh fix the entire process altogether.
- 1:43:20SPEAKER_53: That's the same Hassan Piker who routinely dresses up like a Chinese dictator and talks about his hatred for America.
- 1:43:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:43:30SPEAKER_02: And that's enough.
- 1:43:32SPEAKER_02: See, therein, Hassan Piker, despite all of his commentary, despite all of his ridiculous, offensive, inflammatory statements, this wannabe former incarnation of a communist Howard Stern, it's the same playbook, it's nothing more than shock jock tactics of the 90s on talk radio.
- 1:43:56SPEAKER_02: That's all that it is.
- 1:43:59SPEAKER_02: But see, he becomes a useful tool in that moment because he gets to go reframe the arguments against Ilhan Omar, individuals, the broken and the brainwashed, the gullible that have been indoctrinated through our horrible education system, lap it all up, saying, Yeah, it's just paperwork, guys.
- 1:44:17SPEAKER_02: I don't know what the big deal is.
- 1:44:18SPEAKER_02: In the meantime, you have congressional Democrats out there signing on to this resolution condemning the investigation, which gives them the clear out, oh, it's the investigation that's the problem.
- 1:44:28SPEAKER_02: You've weaponized the government.
- 1:44:30SPEAKER_02: Not the allegations themselves, whatever.
- 1:44:32SPEAKER_02: And not that they care.
- 1:44:34SPEAKER_02: They don't care.
- 1:44:35SPEAKER_02: They want illegal aliens to vote.
- 1:44:38SPEAKER_02: So essentially, that's all Ilhan Omar would end up being another illegal alien voting, and that's what they ultimately want.
- 1:44:45SPEAKER_02: But they still, right?
- 1:44:46SPEAKER_02: There's still some toxicity, you know, toxicity there that they have to try to go and avoid.
- 1:44:51SPEAKER_02: So instead, oh, it's gonna impact the election, even though another judge signed off on it, and Trump and JD Vance apparently had no idea that that raid was gonna take place, you know, just a little over two weeks ago.
- 1:45:04SPEAKER_02: So it gives them an out.
- 1:45:06SPEAKER_02: But Hassan Piker in that moment becomes a useful tool.
- 1:45:09SPEAKER_02: And those so therefore, despite any slight protestations coming from a handful of individuals on the left, okay, it doesn't matter.
- 1:45:19SPEAKER_02: He is he is doing his duty and pushing forward on the leftist narratives, and that's all they need from him.
- 1:45:26SPEAKER_48: Good morning.
- 1:45:27SPEAKER_48: He defended her with uh paperwork violation.
- 1:45:31SPEAKER_48: Well, that's exactly what happened to President Trump with a 36 fund when he uh got for financial flaw.
- 1:45:41SPEAKER_37: Hey John, it's Kristen Chaska.
- 1:45:44SPEAKER_37: That Hassan Tiger.
- 1:45:46SPEAKER_37: Wow, really?
- 1:45:47SPEAKER_37: It's a paperwork error.
- 1:45:49SPEAKER_37: I don't know, maybe kind of like the 34 counts of felony against Trump for a paperwork error.
- 1:45:56SPEAKER_02: Everybody seems to be zeroing in on that.
- 1:45:59SPEAKER_02: Thank you for the comments.
- 1:46:00SPEAKER_02: It's 651-964-0294.
- 1:46:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you guys aren't the only ones.
- 1:46:05SPEAKER_02: I everybody is zeroing in on that.
- 1:46:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's just a paperwork issue, guys, just like Trump.
- 1:46:15SPEAKER_02: They pay me to do this.
- 1:46:17SPEAKER_02: Just point that out once again.
- 1:46:20SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 1:46:21SPEAKER_02: So President Trump is calling for the removal of Representative Ilhan Omar from Congress.
- 1:46:26SPEAKER_02: He's questioning her legal status and name.
- 1:46:29SPEAKER_02: However, the Constitution grants Congress the authority to determine membership.
- 1:46:34SPEAKER_02: And while the process for expulsion or refusal to seat a member is complex and requires a high threshold, uh, the House could potentially refuse to seat to Omar.
- 1:46:46SPEAKER_02: It is unlikely given the legal precedent and the high bar for such actions.
- 1:46:52SPEAKER_02: I want to bring to you uh some of the details uh from this uh article.
- 1:46:57SPEAKER_02: This is Fox News chief congressional correspondent Chad Pergram.
- 1:47:01SPEAKER_02: And he's discussing President Donald Trump this week in his calls for Representative Ilhan Omar to resign amid the questions about her legal name and her uh her status uh and her name and legal status specifically.
- 1:47:12SPEAKER_02: Sorry, got a little uh got a little tongue-tied uh there.
- 1:47:16SPEAKER_02: So, with this though, again, Chad Pergram makes a similar mistake to what I just mentioned, and that is focusing on one aspect of this investigation versus the totality of the investigation and the other uh things that Ilhan Omar could be potentially in uh indicted for.
- 1:47:35SPEAKER_02: Okay, so I want to dive into this next.
- 1:47:38SPEAKER_02: It's essentially a hitchhiker's guide to why removing Ilhan Omar from Congress could be harder than Trump is expecting.
- 1:47:44SPEAKER_02: But there's some really interesting details uh in here that I want to get uh to share with you.
- 1:47:49SPEAKER_02: Plus, we'll give you the details of the Minnesota Court of Appeals reversing that judge who threw out a jury's guilty verdicts of an individual who had committed$7.2 million in a Medicaid fraud case.
- 1:48:05SPEAKER_02: I'll give you details on that.
- 1:48:06SPEAKER_02: We're gonna get to more of your comments from the blaster line.
- 1:48:09SPEAKER_02: Again, that number is 651-964-0294.
- 1:48:13SPEAKER_02: That's 651-964-0294.
- 1:48:17SPEAKER_02: It's coming up in just a moment here on the John Justice Show, presented by American Experiment.
- 1:48:22SPEAKER_45: If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
- 1:48:26SPEAKER_45: We've heard over and over that wind and solar are the clean and green solution to our energy.
- 1:48:31SPEAKER_45: Power without the downsides of fossil fuels.
- 1:48:34SPEAKER_45: It sounds great on the surface, but is it true?
- 1:48:38SPEAKER_45: Let's take a closer look.
- 1:48:40SPEAKER_45: Every form of energy impacts the environment.
- 1:48:42SPEAKER_45: Wind and solar are no exception.
- 1:48:44SPEAKER_45: The only difference, you've probably never been told about their downsides.
- 1:48:48SPEAKER_45: Wind and solar are both low-power energy sources.
- 1:48:52SPEAKER_45: They require exponentially more wind and solar to produce the same amount of power as nuclear natural gas.
- 1:48:59SPEAKER_45: This means greater material needs, which lead to unparalleled levels of mining, manufacturing, transportation, and construction, all of which come with huge environmental.
- 1:49:19SPEAKER_45: Up to 75 square miles.
- 1:49:21SPEAKER_45: Wind up to 3,000 square miles.
- 1:49:25SPEAKER_45: Powering the US with just wind would require more land than two Californians.
- 1:49:31SPEAKER_45: Then there's the materials.
- 1:49:33SPEAKER_45: Meeting global net zero targets would require massive amounts of energy.
- 1:49:37SPEAKER_45: Far more than the world currently produces.
- 1:49:40SPEAKER_45: This means opening new mines, often in countries with weak environmental standards, dangerous working conditions, and even child labor.
- 1:49:48SPEAKER_45: The impacts on wildlife are no better.
- 1:49:51SPEAKER_45: Offshore wind disrupts marine ecosystems.
- 1:49:54SPEAKER_45: Whales, for example, which rely on echolocation, suffer from hearing impairment and Turban migration habits.
- 1:50:02SPEAKER_45: On land, turbines kill burden batteries, and solar farms destroy habitats.
- 1:50:07SPEAKER_45: And there's lifespan.
- 1:50:08SPEAKER_45: Nuclear natural gas plants can last 60 to 80 years.
- 1:50:12SPEAKER_45: Turbine and solar panels is 20 to 25.
- 1:50:16SPEAKER_45: They're also not easily recycling.
- 1:50:18SPEAKER_45: To multiply the sheer number of units we need with a short lifespan, and you have millions of tons of material waste heading for landfills.
- 1:50:28SPEAKER_45: The truth is, wind and solar aren't the magical solution we've been trying to.
- 1:50:32SPEAKER_45: The costs are real, the trade-off is significant, low power, high material use, extensive land use and ecosystem energy.
- 1:50:41SPEAKER_45: Wind and solar energy production literally do more environmental harm than good.
- 1:50:48SPEAKER_45: Like we said, if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
- 1:50:54SPEAKER_45: Learn more at americanexperiment.org slash shattered green dreams.
- 1:51:00SPEAKER_02: You do not want to miss the conversation that I have coming up with our energy policy fellow here at American Experiment, AmericanExperiment.org.
- 1:51:10SPEAKER_02: Darren Nelson's going to be joining us once again on the comfy sofa coming up at 8 30 this morning.
- 1:51:15SPEAKER_02: He has a handful of different uh articles that are up now at AmericanExperiment.org.
- 1:51:21SPEAKER_02: One of them you're probably not aware of, and this was an initiative signed off back in 2021 that could potentially cost you hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars on your energy bills heading into the coming years by banning natural gas outright.
- 1:51:36SPEAKER_02: He also has Tim Walls ranking 50th when it comes to electricity and technology freedom.
- 1:51:42SPEAKER_02: This is a handful of different items we'll be talking about with Darren Nelson when he joins us coming up at 8:30 this morning.
- 1:51:48SPEAKER_02: So you do not want to miss that conversation.
- 1:51:50SPEAKER_02: Fox News chief political correspondent Chad Pergram.
- 1:51:53SPEAKER_02: President Donald Trump calling for Ilhan Omar to resign amid questions about her name and legal status.
- 1:51:58SPEAKER_02: The clerk of the House of Representatives officially lists the Congresswoman as solely Ilhan Omar on 15 different financial disclosure reports dating back to 2018.
- 1:52:13SPEAKER_02: Now that's even before she entered Congress.
- 1:52:15SPEAKER_02: The same with the Minnesota State Legislature where Omar served prior to coming to Washington.
- 1:52:20SPEAKER_02: The discrepancy is why the president wants the House to banish Ilhan Omar.
- 1:52:25SPEAKER_02: She will not be legally allowed to be a member of that August body that sits in Washington, said President Trump.
- 1:52:32SPEAKER_02: But that's not his call, says Chad Pergram.
- 1:52:35SPEAKER_02: Now, again, we're just going off of one of the allegations.
- 1:52:37SPEAKER_02: So the name allegation is one thing.
- 1:52:39SPEAKER_02: But we also have her husband's winery, which could be a part of this issue.
- 1:52:43SPEAKER_02: We have the backdating of her birthday, which could be part of this issue.
- 1:52:47SPEAKER_02: This runs headlong into her own memoir.
- 1:52:50SPEAKER_02: Who is or isn't her father, depending on who that individual is, and if they were naturalized as a citizen.
- 1:52:56SPEAKER_02: So we're focusing on one particular allegation here.
- 1:52:59SPEAKER_02: Article 1, section five of the Constitution.
- 1:53:01SPEAKER_02: I don't want to get too wonky, but there's some good details in here.
- 1:53:04SPEAKER_02: Grants both bodies of Congress final authority about who it admits to its membership.
- 1:53:09SPEAKER_02: At least one House Republican is willing to explore that.
- 1:53:12SPEAKER_02: But only if the facts merit it.
- 1:53:14SPEAKER_02: Representative Morgan Griffith, Republican out of Virginia, said the House has a prerogative to seat or not seat and to throw members out if it so chooses.
- 1:53:24SPEAKER_02: There ought to be good, sound reasons for it.
- 1:53:27SPEAKER_02: Now, it's a different set of rules, but Griffith had experienced with this as a Virginia House delegate, grappled with a similar issue when seating lawmakers in the Commonwealth in 1988.
- 1:53:39SPEAKER_02: But Congress is altogether different.
- 1:53:42SPEAKER_02: It would be extraordinary, Griffith says.
- 1:53:45SPEAKER_02: And it should be extraordinary, and it should not be used except in extraordinary circumstances.
- 1:53:51SPEAKER_02: So again, we have checks and balances in play.
- 1:53:54SPEAKER_02: We have had individuals that have reached out via the blaster line, text and voicemail, talking about removing Ilhan Omar outright right now.
- 1:54:01SPEAKER_02: Why isn't it easier to do that?
- 1:54:02SPEAKER_02: No, we have checks and balances in place for a good reason to make sure that if you do have a group of corrupt individuals at the helm, like leftists, who legitimately go and weaponize the government, not fake weaponizing the government, like what the leftists like to say Trump is doing now.
- 1:54:20SPEAKER_02: We have reasons to make it a high bar to have to hurdle in order to make that happen.
- 1:54:27SPEAKER_02: Now, Chad Pergram said, he asked, what would meet that bar to block someone from serving in the House?
- 1:54:34SPEAKER_02: It's just like the Supreme Court said about pornography.
- 1:54:37SPEAKER_02: I know it when I see it, said Griffith, paraphrasing the late Justice Potter Stewart from a key 1964 obscenity case.
- 1:54:44SPEAKER_02: House Republicans have two options to deal with Omar if they are truly determined to take action, regardless of what is proven or not.
- 1:54:52SPEAKER_02: Qualifications for the House are pretty simple.
- 1:54:54SPEAKER_02: You must be a citizen and a resident of the state that you are representing.
- 1:54:59SPEAKER_02: And you must be 25 years old.
- 1:55:00SPEAKER_02: You could even be convicted of a crime and still serve time in jail.
- 1:55:05SPEAKER_02: The Constitution is silent on all other credentials.
- 1:55:08SPEAKER_02: You could also have a resume which is without blemish.
- 1:55:11SPEAKER_02: It doesn't matter.
- 1:55:12SPEAKER_02: The House could still take action against you.
- 1:55:15SPEAKER_02: The first conceivable option could come right now.
- 1:55:18SPEAKER_02: The Constitution grants the House and Senate their right to expel members, provided there's two-thirds vote.
- 1:55:25SPEAKER_02: Any scenario to expel Omar seems remarkable, especially since she hasn't been convicted of a crime yet.
- 1:55:32SPEAKER_02: And even if she is charged, there are lots of other issues that could emerge before a trial.
- 1:55:38SPEAKER_02: It would be strange to have the executive branch of government trying to remove a member of the legislative branch of government.
- 1:55:45SPEAKER_02: Moreover, it's likely that the House Counsel would contest any effort by federal prosecutors to procure Omar's official house communication devices as well as documents.
- 1:55:56SPEAKER_02: There's a firewall between the legislative branch and the executive branch, known as the speech or debate clause.
- 1:56:04SPEAKER_02: This portion of the Constitution grants lawmakers privileges tied to their own official duties.
- 1:56:09SPEAKER_02: So getting those papers, let alone potentially deporting her, as some have suggested, is a far cry, especially since she is a member, and this all hinges on expulsion.
- 1:56:19SPEAKER_02: And again, but we're also only going off of one of the potential allegations of what Ilhan Omar is facing.
- 1:56:24SPEAKER_02: And I think that's important to note.
- 1:56:26SPEAKER_02: Moreover, two-thirds of the House will never vote, says Chad Pergram, to expel a member under these circumstances unless there is ironclad proof of wrongdoing.
- 1:56:37SPEAKER_02: It's why the House has only expelled six members in its history.
- 1:56:41SPEAKER_02: The last was former Representative George Santos back in 2023.
- 1:56:46SPEAKER_02: However, what may be an issue is whether or not there could be an objection to seeding Omar when the new Congress convenes in January.
- 1:56:57SPEAKER_02: That said, it's possible there could be motions to not cede Omar, or even other progressive members elect who have said controversial things about the United States and the Constitution.
- 1:57:08SPEAKER_02: Such a motion would come right after the House chooses a speaker.
- 1:57:12SPEAKER_02: But the Speaker has not sworn in the rest of the House members.
- 1:57:16SPEAKER_02: The House would then swear everybody else in, except the member or members elect who may face questions about serving.
- 1:57:22SPEAKER_02: Once the House swears the rest of the body in, it can then vote on a motion not to expel those persons.
- 1:57:30SPEAKER_02: Table the motion or refer the motion to a committee for investigation.
- 1:57:35SPEAKER_02: No, of course, Chad raps uh wraps up in his piece.
- 1:57:39SPEAKER_02: It's always probable that the House could seat someone and then expel them.
- 1:57:44SPEAKER_02: That doesn't collide headlong uh with previous decisions.
- 1:57:49SPEAKER_02: So if you look at Powell versus McCormick, right, in 1985, the House did not swear in Representative Frank McClowski and decided to investigate whether or not he'd won his seat in the Hoosier state.
- 1:58:01SPEAKER_02: The House didn't swear McCluskey in for several months.
- 1:58:05SPEAKER_02: Now, based off of Powell versus McCormick, it's hard to envision a scenario where the House declines to seize someone, but it might not do it immediately based on the Frank McClowski case as the example.
- 1:58:19SPEAKER_02: Considering the House has only expelled six members, and those circumstances are doubtful too.
- 1:58:24SPEAKER_02: So he says, what's in a name, especially for Ilhan Omar?
- 1:58:27SPEAKER_02: Her adversaries may raise questions about her name, but it's doubtful they can do anything about her position based solely off of that one.
- 1:58:34SPEAKER_02: And as I said, this assumes, like many of Trump's detractors, that this is the only accusation for indictment, and just how severe the claims may or not be when we fully see, for example, what was actually in the affidavit that signed off, that was signed off on by that DC liberal Democrat judge.
- 1:58:59SPEAKER_02: We're gonna have a much clearer picture once we know what it is that the government showed as probable cause against Ilhan Omar.
- 1:59:07SPEAKER_02: And the other factor, too, and I was listening to some commentary from uh Kathy Urban, is it carry or Kathy Urban?
- 1:59:13SPEAKER_02: I think it's Kathy Urban on Fox News, and she had made a comment that what she found most interesting about the Ilhan Omar investigation was actually the investigation into her sister.
- 1:59:24SPEAKER_02: And the fact that here you had her sister a part of, you know, swirling around the Feeding Our Future scandal, being involved in one of the restaurants, was then had written a book and was doing a book tour, but now she lives overseas and doesn't even live in the United States anymore.
- 1:59:39SPEAKER_02: And that her talking with the feds could end up revealing more about what these pending indictments of Ilhan Omar may or may not be.
- 2:00:23SPEAKER_02: You can also do a rewatch of the show that's live right now on my X feed, Center of the American Experiment, Facebook and uh YouTube, and also on my personal social medias as well.
- 2:00:33SPEAKER_02: As I mentioned, policy fellow, uh energy expert here at American Experiment.
- 2:00:37SPEAKER_02: Uh, Darren Nelson will be joining us on the comfy sofa coming up at 8:30 this morning.
- 2:00:41SPEAKER_02: And vital information for you to know about the future of Minnesota, your energy uh costs, and what the Public Utilities Commission has up its sleeve.
- 2:00:49SPEAKER_02: Darren's been following this closely.
- 2:00:51SPEAKER_02: He's gonna give us all an update coming up just after the uh bottom of the hour.
- 2:00:55SPEAKER_02: We'll continue uh to take your thoughts from the blaster line this morning, 651-964-0294.
- 2:01:01SPEAKER_02: If you missed the earlier portion of the show, we got uh deep into the I Am the Host Now podcast, Omar Fate hosting the communist wannabe Howard Stern.
- 2:01:14SPEAKER_02: Again, the most vile progressive commentator that exists right now in Hassan Piker.
- 2:01:19SPEAKER_02: We talked about this at length, played a lot of audio earlier in the show.
- 2:01:22SPEAKER_02: So if you missed it, be sure to go back and check out the uh the podcast.
- 2:01:26SPEAKER_02: In the meantime, let's go hear some local news.
- 2:01:30SPEAKER_02: Why did she do it?
- 2:01:31SPEAKER_02: This is the question that I have.
- 2:01:35SPEAKER_02: Minnesota Court of Appeals has reversed the Hennepin County judge Sarah West's decision to throw out a jury's guilty verdicts against a Mr.
- 2:01:47SPEAKER_02: Yusuf.
- 2:01:47SPEAKER_02: I'm going to avoid trying to say the first two portions of his name.
- 2:01:50SPEAKER_02: It's entirely too difficult.
- 2:01:51SPEAKER_02: Coming from the guy whose real last name is Lojudice for crying out loud.
- 2:01:56SPEAKER_02: So, Youssef, whose health hair company had fraudulently billed Medicaid for more than$7.2 million.
- 2:02:02SPEAKER_02: This judge, Sarah West, much to the frustration and shock from even uh, you know, political watchers here that are, you know, accustomed to seeing everything under the sun when it comes to the leftists, they were even surprised at this move.
- 2:02:14SPEAKER_02: In a ruling filed Monday, the three-judge appellate panel ordered the case returned to Hennepin County for reinstatement of all six guilty verdicts for aiding and abetting theft by swindle.
- 2:02:29SPEAKER_02: The appeals court rejected West's conclusion that Yusuf's brother Mohammed might have orchestrated the fraud without Youssef knowing or helping.
- 2:02:40SPEAKER_02: She cited Minnesota's circumstantial evidence standard as needing to rule out such a scenario for a conviction to stand.
- 2:02:47SPEAKER_02: It was a flimsy argument and activism coming from this judge.
- 2:02:55SPEAKER_02: The appeals judges determined that when considering all the evidence together, the only reasonable conclusion was that Yusuf knew about the fraudulent activity and intentionally helped his brother commit the crimes.
- 2:03:10SPEAKER_02: So here's the background for those that aren't familiar with this, and again, love your thoughts.
- 2:03:14SPEAKER_02: Because this is the question that I have.
- 2:03:16SPEAKER_02: Was it straight up activism or was it something else that prompted this judge to go and rule this way initially that's now been overturned by a Minnesota Court of Appeals?
- 2:03:27SPEAKER_02: And that's not to say, and I just want to mention, too, that Minnesota Court of Appeals, we're not talking about a bastion of conservatism by any stretch.
- 2:03:34SPEAKER_02: But make no mistake that, you know, while the right thing is being done now, this absolutely undermined commentary relating to the severity of fraud.
- 2:03:44SPEAKER_02: If you're gonna go and dismiss$7.2 million in Medicaid fraud over a technicality, it's listen, and it's a stretch to even call it a technicality.
- 2:03:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah, then it's wholly appropriate to go and question the motivation behind this activist hack judge.
- 2:03:59SPEAKER_02: So in August of 2025, the Hennepin County Adjourney convicted Yousef on six felony counts following a seven-day trial.
- 2:04:06SPEAKER_02: This was a jury that did this.
- 2:04:10SPEAKER_02: Prosecutors presented evidence that Yousef owned Promise Health.
- 2:04:14SPEAKER_02: Always the colorful names, huh?
- 2:04:17SPEAKER_02: Promise Health.
- 2:04:19SPEAKER_02: A Medicaid-funded home health care agency that submitted more than 40,000 fraudulent claims between 2019 and 2022.
- 2:04:32SPEAKER_02: But guy, but guys, you know what?
- 2:04:34SPEAKER_02: It's just that's just paperwork.
- 2:04:36SPEAKER_02: What's the big deal?
- 2:04:37SPEAKER_05: Surrounding it is that at most it's a paper work paperwork violation.
- 2:04:43SPEAKER_05: That's all this is.
- 2:04:44SPEAKER_05: Um I don't believe the accusations uh of the government, even if it was That's Hassan Piker talking about Ilhan Omar.
- 2:04:53SPEAKER_02: It's just a paperwork violation, guys.
- 2:04:54SPEAKER_02: Whatever.
- 2:04:55SPEAKER_02: Big deal.
- 2:04:57SPEAKER_02: Uh do you know why I pulled you uh over today?
- 2:04:59SPEAKER_02: No, you were speeding.
- 2:05:00SPEAKER_02: Oh, I'm sorry, officer.
- 2:05:01SPEAKER_02: It's the first time I was speeding.
- 2:05:03SPEAKER_02: Can I see your license and uh and uh registration uh please?
- 2:05:06SPEAKER_02: Uh sure.
- 2:05:07SPEAKER_02: Can I also see your proof of insurance?
- 2:05:08SPEAKER_02: Oh, I don't have any insurance.
- 2:05:10SPEAKER_02: Oh, don't worry about it, driver.
- 2:05:11SPEAKER_02: That's just a paperwork issue.
- 2:05:12SPEAKER_02: You're fine.
- 2:05:15SPEAKER_02: Said no law enforcement officer ever.
- 2:05:20SPEAKER_02: So investigators discovered that Promise Health operated out of a mailbox on Central Avenue in Minneapolis, despite requirements that Medicaid providers maintain a physical business location.
- 2:05:31SPEAKER_02: How big was that mailbox?
- 2:05:35SPEAKER_02: Is that like the phone booth in Doctor Who?
- 2:05:38SPEAKER_02: Or like you step in and it's really expansive and it's big.
- 2:05:43SPEAKER_02: That's not the TARDIS, right?
- 2:05:45SPEAKER_02: I didn't watch Doctor Who.
- 2:05:46SPEAKER_02: That's not they don't call it the phone booth's not the TARDIS, right?
- 2:05:49SPEAKER_02: I don't think it is.
- 2:05:50SPEAKER_02: Oh man, I'm gonna I'm gonna hear about it on the con on the on the blaster line.
- 2:05:56SPEAKER_02: I don't think I've ever watched a single episode of Doctor Who.
- 2:05:59SPEAKER_02: I know people swear by it, even though it's gone woke in its later, later years.
- 2:06:02SPEAKER_02: Are you even familiar with Doctor Who when I say Doctor?
- 2:06:05SPEAKER_02: I think I've seen one episode.
- 2:06:06SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 2:06:07SPEAKER_03: Alright.
- 2:06:10SPEAKER_03: I liked it.
- 2:06:10SPEAKER_03: It was good.
- 2:06:11SPEAKER_02: Yeah, was it enjoyable?
- 2:06:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:06:12SPEAKER_02: I imagine the older versions are okay.
- 2:06:14SPEAKER_02: I have a, you know, I personally have a hard time when it comes to cheap, cheesy uh television sci-fi.
- 2:06:21SPEAKER_02: I love science fiction, but even then it's like I never got into the original Star Trek on television.
- 2:06:26SPEAKER_02: Firefly is about as low budget as I can get in terms of sci-fi.
- 2:06:30SPEAKER_02: Although space above and beyond, I do owe the DVD set.
- 2:06:33SPEAKER_02: That was a fantastic show in the 90s.
- 2:06:35SPEAKER_02: So I just want to put that out there.
- 2:06:36SPEAKER_02: All right, I'm getting way off track here.
- 2:06:38SPEAKER_02: And I uh probably uh deserve to talk to.
- 2:06:42SPEAKER_02: So at trial, witnesses describe the company billing for services that were never provided, inflating the hours workers spent with clients and producing fraudulent documentation.
- 2:06:53SPEAKER_02: I just want to jump back to the judge's uh comment on this initially, saying that there was only uh the that considering all the evidence together, you had the judge who said that Yusuf's brother might have orchestrated the fraud without Yousef knowing this.
- 2:07:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, 40,000 fraudulent claims over, you know, between 2019 and 2022.
- 2:07:17SPEAKER_02: Uh but you know, he may not have been aware this was even going on.
- 2:07:20SPEAKER_02: They were operating out, they were operating out of a out of a mailbox.
- 2:07:25SPEAKER_02: Oh, the phone booth is the TARDIS.
- 2:07:27SPEAKER_02: Okay, I was right.
- 2:07:28SPEAKER_02: Sorry, Jeff.
- 2:07:29SPEAKER_02: Jeez.
- 2:07:32SPEAKER_02: I try to be accurate here.
- 2:07:34SPEAKER_02: I don't want to be wrong.
- 2:07:35SPEAKER_02: What are they called the little robot dudes?
- 2:07:38SPEAKER_02: Those goofy little trash can looking guys.
- 2:07:42SPEAKER_02: Sorry, getting so off track here.
- 2:07:44SPEAKER_02: It's the only way that I can maintain my sanity.
- 2:07:46SPEAKER_02: It really is.
- 2:07:48SPEAKER_02: Why do you think I'm such a geek?
- 2:07:51SPEAKER_02: Because this is the only way that I can go and handle all of this ridiculous nonsense on a daily basis.
- 2:07:57SPEAKER_02: People wonder, how do you do it?
- 2:07:58SPEAKER_02: I do it because I'm a nerd.
- 2:08:01SPEAKER_02: So at trial, the witnesses describe the company building for services never provided all the quintessential ways that Somali immigrants commit fraud here in Minnesota.
- 2:08:11SPEAKER_02: One woman testified that promise build Medicaid for services she never received and produced documents bearing signatures that were not hers.
- 2:08:19SPEAKER_02: Again, I just want to just keep in the back of your mind that this judge let this all go.
- 2:08:28SPEAKER_02: Judge Sarah West just dismissed all of this, and it took a Minnesota Appeals court to write the write the ship.
- 2:08:35SPEAKER_02: Other witnesses testify that she provided four to six hours of overnight supervision for her mother, unaware that Promise was billing for as many as 12 hours.
- 2:08:45SPEAKER_02: It only felt like 12 hours.
- 2:08:47SPEAKER_02: Jurors also heard evidence that Youssef personally received more than one million from the company's accounts.
- 2:08:53SPEAKER_02: Investigators identified more than 400,000 in retail purchases, including spending at Nordstrom, Canada Goose, and Feldman Imports.
- 2:09:04SPEAKER_02: The jury found Yousef guilty on all six counts and determined that aggravating sentencing factors existed.
- 2:09:12SPEAKER_02: But before sentencing, Judge Sarah West granted a defense motion for judgment of acquittal, effectively wiping out all of the guilty verdicts.
- 2:09:26SPEAKER_02: I have a direct quote coming uh from uh those that had received those guilty verdicts initially.
- 2:09:33SPEAKER_02: In her ruling, West concluded that while the prosecutors established fraud occurred at Promise Health, they had not sufficiently provided Yusuf knew about the fraud or intentionally assisted his brother.
- 2:09:45SPEAKER_02: Minnesota's circumstantial evidence standards require that courts reject a conviction if the evidence supports a reasonable explanation.
- 2:09:54SPEAKER_02: Consistent with the defendant's innocence, however, that issue generally doesn't get examined until appeals.
- 2:10:01SPEAKER_02: West determined it was reasonable to believe that Mohammed had operated promise and committed fraud without Yusuf's knowledge or assistance, leading Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison's office to appeal.
- 2:10:15SPEAKER_02: Now, Monday's decision, written by the judge Wilhelmina Work, agreed.
- 2:10:20SPEAKER_02: West used the correct legal standard, but disagreed with West's conclusion.
- 2:10:27SPEAKER_02: Okay, so she dotted her I's and she crossed her T's, even though what she committed here was right, an activist moved by this judge.
- 2:10:41SPEAKER_02: Yussef founded the company.
- 2:10:44SPEAKER_02: I'm excited, let me go back here real quick.
- 2:10:46SPEAKER_02: Uh let's see.
- 2:10:47SPEAKER_02: Uh the judges pointed to several facts demonstrating that Youssef was directly involved in Promise Health.
- 2:10:53SPEAKER_02: Youssef founded the company with his wife in 2018 and later became its sole owner.
- 2:10:57SPEAKER_02: He repeatedly identified himself as the company's manager in state filings.
- 2:11:02SPEAKER_02: He helped uh establish payroll and sign checks from its business accounts.
- 2:11:06SPEAKER_02: He also registered the business at an address that investigators discovered was, again, only a mailbox.
- 2:11:12SPEAKER_02: Must have been a really big mailbox.
- 2:11:15SPEAKER_02: While promises confidential client records were mixed with those of other health care providers at the same location.
- 2:11:23SPEAKER_02: The judge also emphasized, oh, but wait, there's more.
- 2:11:27SPEAKER_02: The financial benefits Youssef received, investigators determined, and again, the judge's ruling, I just gotta keep going back to this.
- 2:11:35SPEAKER_02: The judge's initial ruling on this was that perhaps Youssef was unaware that fraud was taking place, and yet investigators determined that Youssef personally received more than one million from promises accounts, compared with approximately$59, uh, of$359,000 paid to Mohammed.
- 2:11:53SPEAKER_02: Youssev also personally signed checks to his brother, including payments of$33,000 and$40,000 that were identified.
- 2:12:00SPEAKER_02: Identified as loans.
- 2:12:01SPEAKER_02: The appeals court determined that Youssef's explanation that he was unaware of the fraud might have been reasonable if the circumstances had been different.
- 2:12:10SPEAKER_02: Wait, what?
- 2:12:12SPEAKER_02: Oh, so if he wasn't aware, then the judge's ruling was correct.
- 2:12:17SPEAKER_02: That's essentially what they're saying.
- 2:12:21SPEAKER_02: The circumstances, you know, he might not have been aware if the circumstances were different.
- 2:12:25SPEAKER_02: For example, the judges said that it might have been reasonable if Youssef have operated promise from a legitimate physical office, disclosed his brother's management role to the state, or received less money from the company than uh than Mohammed did.
- 2:12:40SPEAKER_02: That first one makes me laugh.
- 2:12:41SPEAKER_02: You know, Yusuf might have had an out on this if he actually, you know, had an office that was actually doing the things that they said it were doing, not just a mailbox.
- 2:12:50SPEAKER_02: You can't not make this stuff up.
- 2:12:57SPEAKER_02: None of those circumstances existed, though.
- 2:12:59SPEAKER_02: And yet that judge, and again, that goes back to my question: why did she do it?
- 2:13:04SPEAKER_02: Was it straight up political activism?
- 2:13:06SPEAKER_02: Was she potentially just throwing it out there?
- 2:13:09SPEAKER_02: Was she encouraged to do so?
- 2:13:11SPEAKER_02: Because this, again, certainly downplays the severity of fraud when you're overturning the conviction from a jury.
- 2:13:23SPEAKER_02: The judge, who thankfully went and over uh overturned this uh Will Amina work, wrote that the evidence showed that Youssef was not oblivious to the company's operations, concealed his brother's involvement, and received substantial financial benefits from the fraudulent building uh billing.
- 2:13:41SPEAKER_02: The court concluded Yousef's claim of ignorance was not a reasonable explanation of the evidence.
- 2:13:46SPEAKER_02: Instead, the judges determined the evidence established that Yusuf knew Mohammed was committing fraud and intended to further those crimes.
- 2:13:56SPEAKER_02: Listen, lonely highway theory on this, I mean, how often is this?
- 2:13:59SPEAKER_02: I hope it's not the case, but how often is all of this happening and we're just simply not hearing about any of it?
- 2:14:08SPEAKER_02: It's all just political theater.
- 2:14:10SPEAKER_02: Because the takeaway when the judge issued this ruling, right, was that, ah, maybe this dude was completely unaware of what was going on, and it was somebody else who went and conducted all this fraud.
- 2:14:19SPEAKER_02: Look the other way.
- 2:14:20SPEAKER_02: Don't pay attention to the dude behind the curtain that's operating all of the mechanisms.
- 2:14:25SPEAKER_02: I have another example of that coming up in just a moment.
- 2:14:28SPEAKER_02: 60 Minutes featured a story of a deported illegal alien.
- 2:14:31SPEAKER_02: It's an incredibly sob story.
- 2:14:33SPEAKER_02: Oh, it's so sad.
- 2:14:34SPEAKER_02: Trump administration's so bad.
- 2:14:35SPEAKER_02: He's such an authoritarian dictator, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 2:14:39SPEAKER_02: And yet, when you get into his asylum application, suddenly you begin to learn the truth.
- 2:14:44SPEAKER_02: This sob story actually had a very interesting twist.
- 2:14:48SPEAKER_02: 60 Minutes portrayed him as a Texas father.
- 2:14:51SPEAKER_02: DHS suggests that he may have consented to deportation or been returned to by his home country officials.
- 2:14:59SPEAKER_02: He's a deported illegal immigrant claiming asylum, he says, due to fear of persecution in Mali because he's gay and a Christian.
- 2:15:12SPEAKER_02: I'm going to give you the examples of this coming up.
- 2:15:14SPEAKER_02: A lot of your comments have rolled in to the blaster line.
- 2:15:17SPEAKER_02: I want to share those with you in just a moment here on the John Justice Show.
- 2:15:21SPEAKER_02: 651-964-0294.
- 2:15:25SPEAKER_02: I want to also remind you before we get to some of your comments.

- 2:17:04SPEAKER_26: Hello, this is Joe Scott, and I'm Sunday.
- 2:18:12SPEAKER_06: And by the way, the jarlic are salt and pepper shakers.
- 2:18:15SPEAKER_06: There you go.
- 2:18:16SPEAKER_06: Quite literally.
- 2:18:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that tracks.
- 2:18:33SPEAKER_02: When they came up with the design for the Millennium Falcon, George Lucas wanted something that looked like a saucer, but it was too boring.
- 2:18:39SPEAKER_02: And then allegedly Joe Johnson, who did the initial concept artwork for it, saw a hamburger and somebody had taken a bite out of it and then designed the Millennium Falcon off of that.
- 2:18:48SPEAKER_02: And allegedly, uh Slave One, yes, it's still Slave One, even though Disney went woke and decided to call it the I forgot the gave it another name for Boba Fett's ship.
- 2:19:00SPEAKER_02: Anyways, uh Slave One was designed after a uh a streetlight lamp.
- 2:19:03SPEAKER_02: They took it and they turned it, they turned it sideways.
- 2:19:05SPEAKER_02: See?
- 2:19:06SPEAKER_02: I just needed to get back a little bit of my street cred.
- 2:19:10SPEAKER_02: That's the only reason why I went and shared with you that little uh detail this morning.
- 2:19:15SPEAKER_02: Uh let's go ahead and get to uh get to this.
- 2:20:04SPEAKER_17: First of all, the AG would not have challenged this ruling if it wasn't an election here.
- 2:20:10SPEAKER_17: Secondly, longstanding fall into ADC goes way back, including the drug and trust fund Mark Dayton and his job administration.
- 2:20:30SPEAKER_15: Uh same question for two different scenarios.
- 2:20:34SPEAKER_15: So if Ilhan Omar is deemed to be not a citizen, and he came here illegally, essentially, that's uh obviously a federal misdemeanor.
- 2:20:45SPEAKER_15: Uh and then she stayed here illegally, which could escalate that clause.
- 2:20:49SPEAKER_15: Outside of the relinquishing citizenship, is there other legal prosecution that could occur?
- 2:20:55SPEAKER_15: And I'll ask the same thing regarding the judge that that overturned the jury conviction that you're talking about.
- 2:21:02SPEAKER_15: Is there legal prosecution that could go?
- 2:21:04SPEAKER_15: Could she be put up before a judicial review board and have her eligibility to be a judge stripped?
- 2:21:10SPEAKER_15: Uh if so, what is it going to take to get those two things in place?
- 2:21:14SPEAKER_15: Because I think it's critically important that the standard gets set.
- 2:21:16SPEAKER_02: So I don't know on your second one.
- 2:21:18SPEAKER_02: That would be a question for you know lawyer extraordinaire Jeff O'Brien or um our friend of the show, uh lawyer James Dickey.
- 2:21:27SPEAKER_02: Uh when it comes to Ilhan Omar, I think there's a cascading domino effect, where if they find that she has been conducting all of this official government business under a false identity, then you basically end up stacking up all of the different violations and infractions.
- 2:21:45SPEAKER_02: So my guess is they'll go for the big one and just zero in on that.
- 2:21:50SPEAKER_02: But when it comes to the judges, that I absolutely do not have an answer uh for you.
- 2:21:55SPEAKER_02: I wish that I did, but maybe one of our uh, again, our resident lawyers can go and reach out and give us uh give us their thoughts, um, their thoughts on that.
- 2:22:03SPEAKER_02: Um, all right.
- 2:22:05SPEAKER_02: So uh let's go uh let's go here.
- 2:22:11SPEAKER_02: My apologies here.
- 2:22:12SPEAKER_02: I'm getting mixed up on my commentary.
- 2:22:14SPEAKER_02: I want to get some of the uh thoughts that have rolled in to the text.
- 2:22:17SPEAKER_02: Chad says, um, why didn't Amy Clobishar and Keith Ellison, Tim Walls question the judge's decision to reverse the guilty verdict if they're so against fraud?
- 2:22:28SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 2:22:29SPEAKER_02: And by the way, the TARDIS is a police call box, not a phone booth.
- 2:22:32SPEAKER_02: Okay, yeah, see, I've got I told you guys I didn't watch the the the show.
- 2:22:37SPEAKER_02: Uh to be honest, Chad, I don't know what the commentary was from those individuals at the time when Sarah West went and overturned those judges.
- 2:22:44SPEAKER_02: I do not believe uh that they uh had any commentary about that, though.
- 2:22:50SPEAKER_02: But as always, thank you for the uh uh thank you for the blast.
- 2:22:53SPEAKER_02: I greatly appreciate it.
- 2:22:54SPEAKER_02: All right, let's go here.
- 2:22:56SPEAKER_02: Before we talk with Darren Nelson, CBS News 60 Minutes featured a story of a recently deported uh illegal alien who'd been living in the United States for over 25 years, interviewing his tearful wife and his children for the show.
- 2:23:11SPEAKER_02: But the Department of Homeland Security says they left out a few key details.
- 2:23:15SPEAKER_02: Unsurprising.
- 2:23:16SPEAKER_02: According to DHS, an asylum application obtained by Fox News, uh Musa Dawara, 57 years old, described himself as gay, said he feared persecution over both his sexual orientation and his conversion to Christianity if he ever returned to his home of Molly.
- 2:23:35SPEAKER_02: The DHS general counsel, James Percival, posted on X This illegal alien is a 60 minutes poster child for what it claims are wrongful deportations.
- 2:23:49SPEAKER_02: I pulled his file.
- 2:23:50SPEAKER_02: He claimed his reason for fearing Molly was that he was gay.
- 2:23:54SPEAKER_02: And just in case you're wondering how bad immigration and the fraud problem is, the Fox National News correspondent, Brooke Taylor, shared the asylum application in which Daiwara said his tribal group and his community as a whole had already somehow gotten wind of his uh his identity and informed his family, meaning that he did not believe he would even be safe from members of his own family if he returned to Mali.
- 2:24:21SPEAKER_02: Although I was born as a boy, but things appeared differently for me as I was already having female behaviors and feelings.
- 2:24:28SPEAKER_02: I was more comfortable being intimate with boys rather than with girls, Daiwara wrote, describing his uh life in the United States.
- 2:24:36SPEAKER_02: He also wrote, Since I came to the United States, I had the possibilities to express my feelings to men without any embarrassment and no reserve.
- 2:24:43SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 2:24:44SPEAKER_02: Now CBS News in a print article that accompanied the 60 Minutes Broadcast presented the story in a slightly different light.
- 2:24:52SPEAKER_02: They said Diawara 57 came to the U.S.
- 2:24:56SPEAKER_02: on a tourist visa when he was 32.
- 2:24:58SPEAKER_02: He overstayed that visa and later applied for refugee protection, arguing that he would be persecuted if he were returned to Mali.
- 2:25:07SPEAKER_02: Daiwara had converted to Christianity, and Mali is a Muslim-majority nation with an Islamist insurgency.
- 2:25:15SPEAKER_02: He has no criminal record.
- 2:25:16SPEAKER_02: Now, Diowara, who has been portrayed by liberal media as a Texas father, was deported to Ghana over the summer because a judge barred his deportation to Mali.
- 2:25:27SPEAKER_02: Once in Ghana, however, officials reportedly forced him onto a flight to his home country.
- 2:25:34SPEAKER_02: Dioara said he believed U.S.
- 2:25:36SPEAKER_02: officials knew he would be returned to Mali once he arrived in Ghana.
- 2:25:40SPEAKER_02: Asked whether the deportees were voluntarily returning to countries they had fled, the DHS spokesperson offered two possible explanations.
- 2:25:48SPEAKER_02: He says either they would get to choose to go home, and they might not always be truthful about the fact that they are consented.
- 2:25:55SPEAKER_02: So that's one possibility.
- 2:25:56SPEAKER_02: The other possibility is that a foreign government applied their own procedures and consistent with international law determined that it was acceptable to return them home.
- 2:26:06SPEAKER_02: So again, you have 60 minutes featuring this individual, an illegal alien, deported claiming asylum due to fear of persecution.
- 2:26:14SPEAKER_02: DHS and the asylum application revealed that the claims of family persecution and his conversion to Christianity six months prior, while he's portrayed as a Texas father, according to the 60 Minutes uh piece.
- 2:26:26SPEAKER_02: Listen, um, I will never take uh these sob stories seriously, and I'll tell you exactly the reason why.
- 2:26:34SPEAKER_02: Because there are countless examples, and I saw these yesterday, because a lot of people had posted this on X regarding this particular story, and there was another story, even locally.
- 2:26:42SPEAKER_02: There was uh Bring Me The News had a story of a local dentist who apparently is here illegally having uh missed his immigration hearing.
- 2:26:51SPEAKER_02: They say it was because of some male error.
- 2:26:54SPEAKER_02: So looking at that situation, I imagine that depending on what a judge rules, they'll probably go and figure the whole thing out.
- 2:27:01SPEAKER_02: But I saw countless examples yesterday of exactly the same situations that leftists never cared about during the Obama years, during his mass deportation efforts.
- 2:27:12SPEAKER_02: There were exposes done by media outlets like 60 Minutes and others that were going and highlighting individuals that were deported under Obama, and these were somewhat sob stories, but you never heard anything coming from the left during that time when Obama was in office conducting his mass deportations.
- 2:27:31SPEAKER_02: During the Biden administration, the media, you know, just stepped up their game and stopped reporting these deportations altogether.
- 2:27:38SPEAKER_02: But as I've highlighted on the show, there were more deportations here in Minnesota under the four years of Joe Biden of illegal aliens than there has been under the ice operations.
- 2:27:50SPEAKER_02: I want to play one more clip for you.
- 2:27:52SPEAKER_02: We'll get to our guest here in uh in just a moment.
- 2:27:55SPEAKER_02: But I've made a I've made the comment on the show many times, and especially recently regarding Ilhan Omar, and that is if you come into the country illegally, or you are, and in this case, we can apply it to Ilhan Omar because potentially she did come into the country illegally, right?
- 2:28:11SPEAKER_02: But if you come into the country illegally, everything that you do moving forward from that is tainted by that first illegality that you're dealing with.
- 2:28:22SPEAKER_02: Don't just take my word for it.
- 2:28:24SPEAKER_02: This comes uh from 60 Minutes.
- 2:28:27SPEAKER_02: This is the DHS general counsel talking about exactly what I've been referring to for years here on the John Justice Show.
- 2:28:36SPEAKER_32: And that's why I'm going for the clarity here.
- 2:28:37SPEAKER_32: You know, because I hear a lot about the violent offenders, point taken.
- 2:28:42SPEAKER_32: But what I don't hear about is the law-abiding folks who in our reporting is more than half.
- 2:28:47SPEAKER_30: You're suggesting that people who are in this country illegally are law-abiding?
- 2:28:50SPEAKER_32: Let's say you don't have a criminal record outside of an immigration offense.
- 2:28:53SPEAKER_32: Should be overstaying a tourist visa.
- 2:28:55SPEAKER_30: So if you are in this country illegally, it is virtually impossible for you to live in this country and not commit additional legal violations because uh you know, uh working without authorization, um, identity theft, there's a lot of illegality that goes on when you are breaking the law.
- 2:29:12SPEAKER_30: But I I do really uh reject your characterization of someone who is in this country illegally and breaking our laws as quote unquote law abiding.
- 2:29:19SPEAKER_30: I think that's fundamentally inaccurate and unfair.
- 2:29:22SPEAKER_32: Okay, fair enough.
- 2:29:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he's spot on.
- 2:29:26SPEAKER_02: I'd say this is what I've been saying on the show all along is that those that come into the country illegally, even if they are doing their best to go and operate within the bounds of United States law, it is much easier for an individual to go and commit further crimes because of the fact that they're already living in the middle of a crime.
- 2:29:48SPEAKER_02: And in this case, it would be here in the country illegally.
- 2:29:51SPEAKER_02: All right, we're gonna talk with uh Darren Nelson, our energy policy fellow and guru here at Center of the American Experiment.
- 2:29:58SPEAKER_02: He'll be joining us actually in studio right now.
- 2:30:00SPEAKER_02: We'll talk with him in just a moment.
- 2:30:01SPEAKER_02: There's a couple of items you've got to hear about.
- 2:30:04SPEAKER_02: Uh, first off, what's going on potentially in the future when it comes to our natural gas?
- 2:30:08SPEAKER_02: Um, uh a uh a bill that moved forward, signed into law by Governor Tim Walls back in 2021.
- 2:30:15SPEAKER_02: You may not even be aware of the ramifications of what this bill could potentially do when it comes to natural gas and your energy costs.
- 2:30:22SPEAKER_02: We'll talk about that and a host of other issues with Darren in just a moment here on the John Justice Show.
- 2:30:28SPEAKER_02: Before I get to that, I want to remind you that if you're a retailer and you want to stock of Mini Leaf products, you can do so by heading on over to M-I-N-N-E-L-E-A-F.com and finding out more regarding what Mini Leaf has to offer.

- 2:35:13SPEAKER_02: Speaking of uh Governor Tim Walls and other items, in this case relating to energy policy, our policy fellow regarding energy.
- 2:35:20SPEAKER_02: Darren Nelson joins us once again on the comfy couch.
- 2:35:23SPEAKER_02: Good morning, Darren.
- 2:35:24SPEAKER_02: How are you doing?
- 2:35:24SPEAKER_02: Good, good.
- 2:35:25SPEAKER_02: Great to be here.
- 2:35:26SPEAKER_02: You've been uh you've been a busy man lately.
- 2:35:28SPEAKER_02: You've been out at a lot of different events.
- 2:35:31SPEAKER_02: The Public Utilities Commission will talk a bit about that.
- 2:35:34SPEAKER_02: Seems like you're at another one of these events, you know, every uh every single uh every single week.
- 2:35:38SPEAKER_02: So uh you can certainly check out the writings on that, and we're gonna talk a little bit about that coming up at AmericanExperiment.org.
- 2:35:44SPEAKER_02: Um, but I had a handful of items I wanted to discuss with you today, and it was funny right before we got on the air, uh I was kind of wondering what order we were gonna put everything in.
- 2:35:53SPEAKER_02: But you, you know, accurately noted these kind of all fall under the same category.
- 2:35:58SPEAKER_02: We talk about a lot of these issues, what could be happening regarding your energy costs, natural gas, things that you may not be aware of, but it all kind of does swirl around, and we'll start here.
- 2:36:08SPEAKER_02: Uh, what really caught my attention was Minnesota Governor Tim Walls receiving an F grade and ranked 50th in the Cato Institute's freedom in the 50 states report for his lack of support for electricity and technology freedom.
- 2:36:25SPEAKER_02: So, what can you what are the bigger takeaways from Walls and this ranking from uh the Cato Institute, of which I have a tremendous amount of respect for?
- 2:36:34SPEAKER_56: Yeah.
- 2:36:34SPEAKER_56: Um what segue?
- 2:36:36SPEAKER_56: You mentioned the Golden Turkey Award.
- 2:36:37SPEAKER_56: Yeah.
- 2:36:38SPEAKER_56: Um at the end of that piece, um, or I basically just go through what Cato wrote, make some comments, tight back to what's happening in Minnesota.
- 2:36:45SPEAKER_56: Um, but I do suggest at the end that I think, you know, Governor Waltz could be um deserving of a a hat-trick, I think, for the Golden Turkey.
- 2:36:54SPEAKER_56: Okay.
- 2:36:54SPEAKER_56: Um, you know, maybe this help I think he's done a lot to deserve another Golden Turkey, but maybe this is the thing that pushes him over the line.
- 2:37:01SPEAKER_02: Well, it's pretty incredible when you consider that, you know, Governor Tim Walls has, you know, sort of fancied himself as being on the cutting edge when it comes to energy reform with these plans that he puts in for us to be carbon neutral in the future.
- 2:37:15SPEAKER_02: But when you actually get into the details of what he's proposing, um, and the Cato Institute criticizing Minnesota's lack of retail electricity choices, the regulatory sandbox leading to high electricity prices, stifled intervention, he's actually quite the opposite of being pro of pro energy being pro-energy.
- 2:37:34SPEAKER_56: Uh well, yeah, he's he's pro wind and solar, that's for sure.
- 2:37:37SPEAKER_56: But th those are like ancient technologies that um, you know, I guess it's a long story how we got um from these things being put into the dustbin of history to becoming the cutting edge somehow.
- 2:37:48SPEAKER_56: Um because one thing with these two things, I mean, wind and solar, particularly wind in Minnesota, um, that's kind of the biggest renewable that we're using here um since the the first piece of legislation in 2001.
- 2:38:00SPEAKER_56: It it's been pretty much the main reason why we have escalating um electricity costs in this uh in this state, and why we compare very badly with you know most of the country, certainly with the Midwest.
- 2:38:12SPEAKER_56: Um and obviously Cato Institute pointed it out in their recent report.
- 2:38:17SPEAKER_02: When it comes to it seems like we don't hear a lot.
- 2:38:20SPEAKER_02: I think I know the reason why.
- 2:38:21SPEAKER_02: Hopefully you can shed some light on this.
- 2:38:23SPEAKER_02: I feel like, you know, like this campaign cycle, we're not hearing much about energy at all.
- 2:38:27SPEAKER_02: And we haven't heard much about renewables within the within the media commentary, it's not a top issue, it's not being discussed.
- 2:38:35SPEAKER_02: Is this largely because a lot of these policies here in Minnesota that lean on renewables that'll prove costly in the future?
- 2:38:42SPEAKER_02: Is it because a lot of these things have already passed during the time of, say, the DFL trifecta?
- 2:38:47SPEAKER_02: And so there are policies that are just sort of waiting in the wings to be implemented over time.
- 2:38:52SPEAKER_02: Is this is this part of the reason why we're not hearing much about these initiatives?
- 2:38:56SPEAKER_02: Like we used to in the past.
- 2:38:57SPEAKER_02: We used to hear about this stuff all the time, but it seems like we just don't anymore.
- 2:39:00SPEAKER_56: Well, you know, that's a that's a very good point.
- 2:39:02SPEAKER_56: Um, this stuff has uh been coming since 2001 was the first bit of legislation on renewables, and then 2007 was kind of the next, you know, even bigger piece of legislation.
- 2:39:13SPEAKER_56: And then I've seen the 2020s, the Clean Energy Act, and all that sort of stuff.
- 2:39:16SPEAKER_56: So it's been coming since 2001, and we can see from 2002 onwards, um, I'll you know, put up one of my little um pictures.
- 2:39:25SPEAKER_56: It it's probably hard to see.
- 2:39:26SPEAKER_56: But anyway, where the that gold line takes off, that's essentially 2002.
- 2:39:31SPEAKER_56: All right.
- 2:39:32SPEAKER_56: So it's no coincidence that you know, once renewables was embraced, even early on, it was jacking up uh the price of electricity in in this state.
- 2:39:40SPEAKER_56: And the the blue line down here is natural gas.
- 2:39:42SPEAKER_56: We'll we'll probably talk about that.
- 2:39:44SPEAKER_56: Um where natural gas has just been quite affordable.
- 2:39:46SPEAKER_56: In fact, between 2001 and today, the price has actually gone down a little bit.
- 2:39:52SPEAKER_56: So it's gone down by about 10 percent, whereas electricity has gone up by you know 120, 130 percent um since uh the the first renewables legislation.
- 2:40:01SPEAKER_02: Now, where is that where is that do we know where is that money going?
- 2:40:04SPEAKER_02: I mean, you know, it's not like uh my lights are brighter in my home.
- 2:40:08SPEAKER_02: It's not like my home is warmer.
- 2:40:09SPEAKER_02: I mean, that you know what I mean?
- 2:40:10SPEAKER_02: It's not like it's it's benefiting individuals apart, you know, apart from in their minds going and saving the planet.
- 2:40:17SPEAKER_02: But I'm I'm curious, like where where is that money that they are collecting?
- 2:40:22SPEAKER_02: You know, where is that where is that going?
- 2:40:25SPEAKER_02: You know, when the consumer asks, when the person goes and leaves a blast at 651-964-0294, you know, are you know executives just getting paid or are they going and spending it on more renewables?
- 2:40:36SPEAKER_56: Well, they go into your bills.
- 2:40:38SPEAKER_56: So that's largely, yes, it also goes into the pockets of Excel energy executives.
- 2:40:45SPEAKER_56: Um but you know, this is just like average bills across you know residential, commercial, industrial.
- 2:40:51SPEAKER_56: They do vary.
- 2:40:52SPEAKER_56: Obviously, industrial customers, you know, are paying you know the orders of hundreds of thousands of dollars, commercials tens of thousands of dollars, residentials, you know, hundreds up to a thousand.
- 2:41:01SPEAKER_56: But anyway, um but the the pattern's the same and it takes off from the exact same period.
- 2:41:06SPEAKER_56: So uh um one thing I'll also show you is what isn't happening is this is the weird part, and and I I need to emphasize this more in my writings and I'll do a little bit today.
- 2:41:16SPEAKER_56: So this is actually the the overall usage of electricity.
- 2:41:19SPEAKER_56: So generally speaking, in history, when you get more efficient, um if if you like the electricity gets more efficient, more cost effective, what usually happens is we end up using more energy, not less.
- 2:41:32SPEAKER_56: Some products you go like, all right, you know, I've had enough of that, I'll use some of this money to buy something else.
- 2:41:37SPEAKER_56: But obviously, particularly in a world of the digital, which is all electricity driven, right?
- 2:41:42SPEAKER_56: Um they they go hand in hand in the digital age, AI, all that sort of stuff.
- 2:41:46SPEAKER_56: So this is a bad thing, the fact that usage has actually started to go down since 2008.
- 2:41:51SPEAKER_56: That's a that's Minnesota all usage is just plummeting.
- 2:41:55SPEAKER_56: So basically the price is too high.
- 2:41:57SPEAKER_56: Oh wow.
- 2:41:57SPEAKER_56: So it's not some efficiencies.
- 2:41:59SPEAKER_56: They always keep on claiming solar and wind are getting more efficient.
- 2:42:02SPEAKER_56: They are not.
- 2:42:03SPEAKER_56: They weren't efficient to start out, and actually they've gotten less efficient because they've been subsidized.
- 2:42:09SPEAKER_56: So as economists, you know, we we recognize that um if you start subsidizing something, sure you get more of it, but you get more of it at a increasingly higher and higher cost because you disincentivize someone to actually be efficient, because you just give them money.
- 2:42:23SPEAKER_56: Right.
- 2:42:23SPEAKER_56: In this case, this isn't taxpayers' money, this is ratepayers.
- 2:42:27SPEAKER_56: So they cross-subsidize from other ratepayers to other to the wind and solar industry.
- 2:42:32SPEAKER_02: Talking with uh Darren Nelson, again, our energy policy fellow here at uh American Experiment, I definitely encourage you to go and check out his writings at AmericanExperiment.org.
- 2:42:42SPEAKER_02: So yesterday was uh was an eyebrow razor for me because I was completely unaware of this.
- 2:42:48SPEAKER_02: And uh I know we're gonna be talking about this a lot in the future, but I kind of wanted to get ahead of it because if it's raising my eyebrows, uh I know that when it comes to the friends of the show, they're gonna be concerned about this.
- 2:43:00SPEAKER_02: But let's get into this Natural Gas Innovation Act.
- 2:43:04SPEAKER_02: This was signed into law by Governor Tim Walls back on June 26th, 2021.
- 2:43:10SPEAKER_02: Um, and it's relevant Minnesota statute, I won't get into the number, is titled Natural Gas Utility Innovation Plans.
- 2:43:19SPEAKER_02: So what will potentially happen under this act that was signed, you know, some five years ago that I think most Minnesotans aren't even aren't even aware of.
- 2:43:29SPEAKER_56: Yeah, look, um I think as as the boss here at uh American Experiment points out, um he, you know, if people knew about this, this might be literally pitchforks in the street time.
- 2:43:40SPEAKER_56: Which is probably why it's been so you know, like unlike wind and solar, where they make these big announcements and like, look at this, this is so awesome.
- 2:43:47SPEAKER_56: Um, even though it it is isn't awesome, but they're very proud of it.
- 2:43:50SPEAKER_56: This one they're not very proud of, or something's going on.
- 2:43:54SPEAKER_56: Um this national, yeah, the NGIA actually doesn't even have this is the weird part, doesn't have any dates attached to it.
- 2:44:00SPEAKER_56: Okay.
- 2:44:01SPEAKER_56: So, you know, there's flexibility for the Public Utilities Commission, um, the government to, you know, quietly back off from it too.
- 2:44:08SPEAKER_56: So, you know, that's okay.
- 2:44:10SPEAKER_56: If we can scare enough, you know, if we can get people scared scared enough about this um and to scare the government and the PUC, they have the legislative ability.
- 2:44:19SPEAKER_56: They don't have to pass a new law.
- 2:44:20SPEAKER_56: They could basically just like let this quietly disappear, um, which is uh you know what we'd like to eventually happen.
- 2:44:25SPEAKER_56: So basically it it's called the Innovation Act, but it there's actually no innovation whatsoever in it in terms of natural gas.
- 2:44:32SPEAKER_56: It's essentially they're looking to ban the use of natural gas, particularly for heating, um, at a place like Minnesota, um, which is shocking.
- 2:44:40SPEAKER_56: Um but that that's essentially what they're trying to do over time.
- 2:44:44SPEAKER_56: Um so that's yeah, that's what's happening.
- 2:44:46SPEAKER_02: What would it be so what what is their suggestion that we replace the natural gas with?
- 2:44:51SPEAKER_56: Um more electricity usage.
- 2:44:54SPEAKER_56: So um they they're looking at things like geothermal heat pumps and all these weird things that are just like the if you think wind and solar are ridiculous technologies, these are even more ridiculous, these technologies.
- 2:45:06SPEAKER_56: Um so they they won't work and they'll be very expensive.
- 2:45:09SPEAKER_56: They'll use a lot of electricity.
- 2:45:11SPEAKER_56: So you know, one thinks that maybe this is a bit of a ploy by the likes of XL Energy, who do actually sell natural gas.
- 2:45:18SPEAKER_56: They're mainly an electricity company who sell some natural gas, um, is to get more people using electricity rather than natural gas.
- 2:45:25SPEAKER_56: Um certainly they'll even if they're not intending to do this, they'll certainly be a beneficiary of this, right?
- 2:45:30SPEAKER_56: To get more of stuff into their capital base that they can put before the PUC to then make us pay for, essentially.
- 2:45:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and we'll talk a little bit more about the Public Utilities Commission uh here in just a moment on the show as we continue to dis our discussion with Darren Nelson.
- 2:45:45SPEAKER_02: I had a question that uh rolled into the blaster line.
- 2:45:47SPEAKER_02: I don't know if you know the answer to it, Darren, but I'll throw it at you anyways.
- 2:45:50SPEAKER_02: Um they were curious how many nuclear plants we would need to go and power Minnesota.
- 2:45:54SPEAKER_02: I imagine it would depend on the size of the of the plant, right?
- 2:45:58SPEAKER_02: And I know that there's been a little bit more openness to nuclear power than what we've seen in the past.
- 2:46:04SPEAKER_02: But do you have any idea of just you know how much energy you know we could produce depending on the on uh on nuclear power?
- 2:46:10SPEAKER_56: Well, look, you know, I m I must admit I'm not particularly a nuclear power expert, um, but I will segue to go, yes, there's currently a study.
- 2:46:18SPEAKER_56: So unlike the the you know the the NGIA, which is is bad, um the the the continued progression towards more wind and solar, which is also bad.
- 2:46:28SPEAKER_56: Um I think you know what's happened actually in the past two years is big tech and their data centers, they they've they certainly realized that wind and solar ain't gonna do it, right?
- 2:46:40SPEAKER_56: They need actual uh things like nuclear power, natural gas.
- 2:46:45SPEAKER_56: You know, maybe coal would be great to bring back, but maybe we can't do that anytime soon.
- 2:46:50SPEAKER_56: Um but you know, right now there's a nuclear study, and I think it's been driven by largely by big tech, um, that both there's a sufficient amount of Democrats and a sufficient amount of Republicans who basically want this study to say, yes, we need to build more nuclear power.
- 2:47:04SPEAKER_56: Um how much more, I'm not sure.
- 2:47:06SPEAKER_56: Hopefully the study will actually address that as well and get very practical.
- 2:47:09SPEAKER_56: But I think the most important thing is they'll suggest we need to stop this moratorium that we've had since I think the early or mid-90s on building any more nuclear power.
- 2:47:17SPEAKER_56: And in fact, we've actually interesting enough, sorry to put up another chart.
- 2:47:21SPEAKER_56: Um, you know, nuclear power, it's kind of hard to tell here, but it's actually I was surprised it didn't stay flat, it's actually gone down a bit, you know, kind of five percent or so since the moratorium started.
- 2:47:32SPEAKER_56: Um and actually you can see down here, bring it back, so the green lines uh, you know, wind and solar, mainly wind jacking up in terms of the the kind of electricity generation sources.
- 2:47:42SPEAKER_56: But actually, interestingly enough, because wind and solar doesn't work, um we've become actually more of a natural gas baseload state than um renewables.
- 2:47:52SPEAKER_56: So we're building, we're we're paying for a lot of renewables, but the thing that's actually working is natural gas.
- 2:47:57SPEAKER_56: So again, um, you know, fortunately this NGIA isn't looking to ban natural gas for for electricity generation, thankfully.
- 2:48:05SPEAKER_56: Um, but still.
- 2:48:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I was looking into the into the piece.
- 2:48:09SPEAKER_02: Uh see and so the NGIA, uh pulling from your your piece at uh AmericanExperiment.org, yet another example of Orwellian doublespeak.
- 2:48:17SPEAKER_02: Rather than being about innovation in natural gas, the NGIA's provisions are about the replacement of natural gas.
- 2:48:23SPEAKER_02: Uh the goal on the second to last page is for utilities to reduce the overall amount of natural gas produced from conventional geologic sources delivered to customers.
- 2:48:34SPEAKER_02: There are 21 definitions in the NGIA.
- 2:48:39SPEAKER_02: The key one is the innovative resource, which crucially does not include uh conventional natural gas in any form, low uh carbs or not.
- 2:48:48SPEAKER_02: Uh the CNG, as you just mentioned, uh removal appears to be aimed at residential households and non-industrial uh commercials.
- 2:48:56SPEAKER_02: Uh what's there beef with natural gas, by the way?
- 2:48:58SPEAKER_02: Uh uh please uh forgive my ignorance.
- 2:49:00SPEAKER_02: Carbon dioxide.
- 2:49:01SPEAKER_02: Is that is that that's what okay, that was gonna be my guess, but I wanted to be sure.
- 2:49:04SPEAKER_56: They realize it works, though.
- 2:49:06SPEAKER_56: Um and it's even if they give the thumbs up to nukes, it's gonna take a while to kind of like build up what we sure they have, yeah, add new stuff.
- 2:49:13SPEAKER_56: So natural gas works, and uh you know, even Democrat, some of the crazier Democrat politicians realize if we can start getting blackouts, their their little wind and solar fantasy is over with, right?
- 2:49:23SPEAKER_56: So um so natural gas keeps the lights on, basically.
- 2:49:27SPEAKER_56: Um, and that's why they want to curtail so basically they still want to meet all their net zero sort of targets.
- 2:49:33SPEAKER_56: So if they're gonna keep on jacking up natural gas for electricity generation, they're gonna have to stop us from using it for heating and all these other purposes, right?
- 2:49:42SPEAKER_02: So that I think that's what's going on.
- 2:49:44SPEAKER_02: Let's go to the uh blaster line, 651-964-0294, talking with Darren Nelson, uh policy fellow, uh energy focused here at American Experiment.
- 2:49:52SPEAKER_38: Hi, John, it's Rihannon from New Prague.
- 2:49:55SPEAKER_38: You guys are talking about electricity.
- 2:49:57SPEAKER_38: Uh, hit us off spot.
- 2:49:58SPEAKER_38: Our electricity bill is literally between 450 and 600 plus dollars a month.
- 2:50:06SPEAKER_38: It's ridiculous, and we're freaking.
- 2:50:08SPEAKER_38: Thank you.
- 2:50:09SPEAKER_38: Bye.
- 2:50:09SPEAKER_38: Have a great day.
- 2:50:10SPEAKER_02: I know that you attended a lot of these Minnesota Public Utilities uh commission meetings uh that were held uh recently.
- 2:50:17SPEAKER_02: Um I'm almost afraid to ask, but is there any hope at all on the horizon of energy prices going down anytime in the near future?
- 2:50:26SPEAKER_02: Is this dependent on the election and the outcome of the election?
- 2:50:29SPEAKER_02: Uh, you know, I mean for an individual like Rihanna who's staring at these monstrosity of electric bills, is there any, you know, sort of rays of hope on the uh on the horizon?
- 2:50:38SPEAKER_56: Um the rays of hope besides obviously it'd be great.
- 2:50:41SPEAKER_56: Um obviously we're not a we're not a partisan um group, but it'd be good to get people who who who want lower electric, you know, who who want lower electricity prices and know how to get it done, right?
- 2:50:52SPEAKER_56: So that will include this nuclear study, hopefully going, yes, more nukes.
- 2:50:56SPEAKER_56: Um but other policy suggestions, particularly if um if we get a an unlikely Republican clean sweep, um although, or even if we get a Republican governor, because you know, governors, just like presidents, have a lot of power, right?
- 2:51:10SPEAKER_56: So they can do a lot of stuff.
- 2:51:11SPEAKER_56: Um unfortunately on the PUC front, it it's you know it's not as um rosy of a picture.
- 2:51:16SPEAKER_56: We got like there's five commissioners, they're all appointed by the governor, and they have terms.
- 2:51:22SPEAKER_56: Um one's coming up, uh the the fellow who's the supposed Republican, the one and only Republican of the five commissioners, um his seat is up, I think, in January.
- 2:51:32SPEAKER_56: So we'll be able to, you know, if it was a Republican governor, they'd be able to appoint someone to replace, you know, put an actual real sort of conservative in there.
- 2:51:40SPEAKER_56: No, they can that person can still be outvoted, right?
- 2:51:43SPEAKER_56: Um but that the the governor could actually make that person the chair, and the chair has a lot of influence on you know what's on the agenda, what what's the focus, all that.
- 2:51:52SPEAKER_56: They can still be outvoted.
- 2:51:53SPEAKER_56: Um, but that person will still certainly have a lot of opportunity.
- 2:51:56SPEAKER_56: And if we get a, if you like, a climate change, like a good climate change, of like, look, let's get serious about um electricity prices, right?
- 2:52:04SPEAKER_56: Um, you know, the PUC you know may not you know carry on with their sort of love of wind and solar.
- 2:52:11SPEAKER_56: Um if they see the the writing on the wall, things could change.
- 2:52:14SPEAKER_02: Let's go to uh a few more thoughts as we uh continue our conversation with Darren Nelson here from American Experiment.
- 2:52:20SPEAKER_11: Hey John, that explains why Excel keeps doubling down on uh green renewals and everything else, because they figure they're gonna get everybody on electricity.
- 2:52:34SPEAKER_02: That was friend of the show, yeah.
- 2:52:36SPEAKER_02: I don't know if you have any further if you have any thoughts on what Lou had to say there, uh Darren.
- 2:52:39SPEAKER_56: Oh, exactly.
- 2:52:40SPEAKER_56: Exactly.
- 2:52:41SPEAKER_56: So basically, you know, another boring chart, but um this one wasn't produced by me.
- 2:52:46SPEAKER_56: This was produced by uh uh uh Isaac Orb, um who was uh used to do my job once upon a time.
- 2:52:52SPEAKER_56: Friend of the show.
- 2:52:52SPEAKER_56: So yeah, you can see like uh you know, solar and wind are just massive costs compared to nuclear, that tiny little sliver down there.
- 2:52:59SPEAKER_56: Yep.
- 2:52:59SPEAKER_56: Our our old friend coal over here, maybe hard to get back.
- 2:53:03SPEAKER_56: Uh natural gas is still pretty pretty reasonable.
- 2:53:06SPEAKER_56: Um so what what they you know Excel embraced this even wasn't when it wasn't mandatory.
- 2:53:11SPEAKER_56: So 2001 was just an objective, right?
- 2:53:14SPEAKER_56: But Excel saw a business opportunity.
- 2:53:16SPEAKER_56: They saw a business opportunity to so basically their business has always been to shove as much into the capital base as we can and then charge everybody for it through the PUC system.
- 2:53:25SPEAKER_56: But you know, you know, natural gas, uh coal, nukes worked.
- 2:53:29SPEAKER_56: So, you know, they really couldn't say, like, oh, we need to build more.
- 2:53:32SPEAKER_56: No, it's fine, it's working.
- 2:53:33SPEAKER_56: So, you know, you know, in the 90s and the 80s and 90s prices were relatively flat, maybe went up a little bit for the most part.
- 2:53:40SPEAKER_56: But they saw an opportunity with wind and solar, because it doesn't work and it's expensive, right?
- 2:53:44SPEAKER_56: So it's expensive, shove it in there.
- 2:53:46SPEAKER_56: Oh, wait, it's not we need more though.
- 2:53:48SPEAKER_56: Shove more in there.
- 2:53:48SPEAKER_56: Oh, wait, we need more transmission lights, shove it in there.
- 2:53:51SPEAKER_56: So they actually, interestingly enough, they're not so much there's a fight going on between Ellison that's uh kind of a fake fight between um A.G.
- 2:53:59SPEAKER_56: Ellison and the PUC is challenging the rate of return that Excel is getting, right?
- 2:54:04SPEAKER_56: Well, as it turns out, the rate of return isn't really excessive.
- 2:54:08SPEAKER_56: It's the capital base that they multiply that rate of return that's the problem.
- 2:54:12SPEAKER_56: Basically, all this wind at solar is this massive uh capital base that they take a 10 percent return on.
- 2:54:19SPEAKER_56: So fighting over the 10 percent, sure, it makes a little bit of a difference, but it's that capital base, um, the denominator that's the problem, not the rate of return and the numerator.
- 2:54:29SPEAKER_02: Um, I've got a question for you.
- 2:54:31SPEAKER_02: I'm talking with uh policy fellow Darren Nelson uh here on the John Justin Show.
- 2:54:34SPEAKER_19: Hey John, I'm wondering if your guest can answer a quick question for me.
- 2:54:38SPEAKER_19: How much of our electricity do we actually get from Canada?
- 2:54:42SPEAKER_19: My slightly liberal in-laws keep telling me it's 25%.
- 2:54:47SPEAKER_02: And I don't suggest, but I Yeah, do you know how much energy we can get from Canada?
- 2:54:52SPEAKER_02: Ooh, yeah.
- 2:54:53SPEAKER_02: He's saying that his in-laws say it's the 25%, but he doesn't uh think that's true.
- 2:54:57SPEAKER_02: He says he's seen it as low as 15, but he doesn't know if that's true as well.
- 2:55:01SPEAKER_02: I don't know if you've looked into that at all in terms of what can we get from our neighbors to the north.
- 2:55:05SPEAKER_56: Yeah, look up it it depends what you're talking about in terms of like obviously if it's if it's wind and solar, it's here.
- 2:55:11SPEAKER_56: It's sitting here, right?
- 2:55:12SPEAKER_56: Um nukes are sitting here.
- 2:55:14SPEAKER_56: So you're probably talking natural gas um and coal.
- 2:55:20SPEAKER_56: Yeah, it I I don't know the percentages.
- 2:55:22SPEAKER_56: I know we we certainly import a, you know, enough that it it helps us, if you like, um cheap natural gas from from Canada, but I think we get mainly most of that from North Dakota, as far as I understand, um, and and also with the coal.
- 2:55:36SPEAKER_56: We have some here, and we're obviously retiring it.
- 2:55:38SPEAKER_56: So I think also North Dakota's our source for coal.
- 2:55:41SPEAKER_56: I don't think Canada is on the coal front, maybe a bit on natural gas.
- 2:55:45SPEAKER_02: So have you broken the uh the record here at American Experiment for consistency in the policy articles that you put at AmericanExperiment.org?
- 2:55:52SPEAKER_02: You seem to be one of like like leading leading here among the other policy fellows in terms of the articles that you put up on our on our website.
- 2:56:00SPEAKER_56: Quantity?
- 2:56:00SPEAKER_56: Yeah.
- 2:56:01SPEAKER_56: Oh, uh no one could build be Bill Glenn.
- 2:56:04SPEAKER_56: He's like the king.
- 2:56:05SPEAKER_56: Like, you know, like I I put like one up, you know, when I have like one a day, that's like a bit of a record.
- 2:56:10SPEAKER_56: It's more like every other day.
- 2:56:11SPEAKER_56: Bill's got like two or three a day, sort of thing.
- 2:56:13SPEAKER_56: But but again, Bill's got a lot of fraud to sort of look at, sort of thing.
- 2:56:17SPEAKER_56: Um, I certainly maybe break the record for like word count and certainly chart count.
- 2:56:21SPEAKER_02: I'm probably winning that.
- 2:56:23SPEAKER_02: Well, Darren Nelson uh puts in a lot of hard work uh putting these pieces together and providing uh a lot of valuable information.
- 2:56:29SPEAKER_02: I encourage everybody.
- 2:56:30SPEAKER_02: Head on over to AmericanExperiment.org to check out uh Darren's uh writings.
- 2:56:34SPEAKER_02: And uh Darren, thank you so much for the time this morning.
- 2:56:36SPEAKER_02: It was great uh speaking with you as always.
- 2:56:38SPEAKER_02: Always a pleasure.
- 2:56:39SPEAKER_02: Before we wrap things up, I do have a couple of other issues that I want to dive into.
- 2:56:43SPEAKER_02: Uh a couple things that I did not get a chance to get to yet this morning.
- 2:56:46SPEAKER_02: However, uh, I need to get you up to speed on a few things.
- 2:56:49SPEAKER_02: Uh we had uh several different crime-related stories this week.
- 2:56:52SPEAKER_02: You probably didn't hear, but there was another parking lot fight at a football game, this time in Osseo.
- 2:56:57SPEAKER_02: It happened over the weekend.
- 2:56:59SPEAKER_02: A couple of stories in local media, but because we're heading into the election here with a handful of days to go, you know, the media's reluctant to go and post anything that could even be perceived of helping Republicans.
- 2:57:10SPEAKER_02: Police did confirm a teenager was injured when struck by a driver a short distance from the high school.
- 2:57:16SPEAKER_02: That was an article from uh Bring Me the News.
- 2:57:18SPEAKER_02: That took place on a Friday evening.
- 2:57:20SPEAKER_02: Also, another story we didn't get a chance to get to last week, uh, and I may save this to dive into further detail on tomorrow's show.
- 2:57:28SPEAKER_02: But a 29-year-old sex offender from Oregon was charged last week with attempting to enroll in Maple Grove High School by posing as a 17-year-old girl.
- 2:57:40SPEAKER_02: I know.
- 2:57:41SPEAKER_02: I just for record, you know, records in terms of ridiculous headlines, that one rockets to the top.
- 2:57:47SPEAKER_02: This is what I wanted to wrap the show up on, though.
- 2:57:49SPEAKER_02: Uh over the weekend, and there has been several pieces covered on this, but now we have further details.
- 2:57:55SPEAKER_02: Minneapolis police arrested seven individuals, including three adults and four juveniles, following a burglary at the Basilica of St.
- 2:58:04SPEAKER_02: Mary over the weekend.
- 2:58:05SPEAKER_02: The adults were booked into jail while the juveniles were released after processing.
- 2:58:11SPEAKER_02: Let me share with you um a portion of the Fox Nine coverage of this, and then my thoughts before we close out uh the show this morning.
- 2:58:21SPEAKER_47: Minneapolis police say the suspects include minors.
- 2:58:23SPEAKER_47: Fox Nine's Mike Manzoni is live in Minneapolis for us at this hour.
- 2:58:26SPEAKER_47: And Mike, the Basilica's security monitoring team called 911.
- 2:58:32SPEAKER_46: Yeah, they actually detected the burglary and then sent police over here just in time to catch all seven suspects.
- 2:58:39SPEAKER_46: This all happened just before one o'clock Saturday morning.
- 2:58:42SPEAKER_46: Police arrested three adults and four minors.
- 2:58:45SPEAKER_46: They face charges, including burglary, fleeing, as well as trespassing.
- 2:58:49SPEAKER_46: Investigators did not mention a motive here.
- 2:58:52SPEAKER_46: Now, this all happened as the Basilica continues to undergo a$50 million renovation.
- 2:58:57SPEAKER_46: We've told you about that before.
- 2:58:59SPEAKER_46: That project started two years ago and will wrap up early next year, just in time for Palm Sunday.
- 2:59:04SPEAKER_46: They're working on the ceiling and the stained glass as well as the pews, among other things.
- 2:59:08SPEAKER_46: Now, in a statement, the Basilica's pastor says, quote, we will cooperate in the prosecution of these individuals.
- 2:59:15SPEAKER_46: I am grateful to those involved in resolving the situation and to members of the community who express their concern about this incident.
- 2:59:22SPEAKER_46: Police booked and already released all four minors.
- 2:59:26SPEAKER_46: Jail records tonight show that the adults were released for lack of probable cause.
- 2:59:31SPEAKER_46: We're live in Minneapolis tonight.
- 2:59:32SPEAKER_02: Mike Ben So I want to read to you Becca Thompson.
- 2:59:36SPEAKER_02: Uh again, if Minneapolis had a Batman Batman or Batwoman, it would be Becca Thompson.
- 2:59:41SPEAKER_02: She should be back in studio with us coming up on a Thursday show.
- 2:59:45SPEAKER_02: But she actually was the uh individual who uh turned that Fox Nine story uh to my attention.
- 2:59:51SPEAKER_02: I found it on X.
- 2:59:52SPEAKER_02: She wrote this.
- 2:59:53SPEAKER_02: She says, This infuriates me.
- 2:59:55SPEAKER_02: And of course, Mary Moriarty already let them go.
- 2:59:59SPEAKER_02: The Basilica is truly a special place in our city.
- 3:00:02SPEAKER_02: Since the incidents in Europe and New York and burning churches, I've been keeping a watchful eye.
- 3:00:08SPEAKER_02: The Basilica spends so much money on security because our city is a mess.
- 3:00:12SPEAKER_02: Without them, the church likely would have burned, and Mary Moriarty let them all go.
- 3:00:17SPEAKER_02: I listen, I made this comment early in the show, I'll make it here.
- 3:00:19SPEAKER_02: Mary Moriarty knew that she was going to be facing a tough road ahead because of her own policies.
- 3:00:27SPEAKER_02: She's a radical leftist social justice zealot.
- 3:00:32SPEAKER_02: And right now, with what we're faced with in uh in Minneapolis, she knew that it was going to be tough for her to continue to run.
- 3:00:38SPEAKER_02: The same thing that would happen with Governor uh uh Dim Walls.
- 3:00:43SPEAKER_02: So I this was we talked about earlier in the show.
- 3:00:45SPEAKER_02: I wanted to bring it to your attention.
- 3:00:46SPEAKER_02: It's just another example of what a hack Mary Moriarty is, and I wanted to make sure that I got it in before we uh wrapped things uh up today.
- 3:00:53SPEAKER_02: And as I mentioned, hopefully Becca Thompson will be joining us uh coming up on uh Thursday's show.
- 3:00:59SPEAKER_02: Tomorrow on the show, State Auditor candidate Scott Jensen is gonna be joining us in studio.
- 3:01:03SPEAKER_02: Looking forward to talking with him.
- 3:01:04SPEAKER_02: We'll, of course, give you all the latest as we continue to cover the calm before the storm.
- 3:01:09SPEAKER_02: You know, it was a little rocky yesterday.
- 3:01:11SPEAKER_02: It wasn't quite as egregious as I had anticipated.
- 3:01:14SPEAKER_02: I expect more from today.
- 3:01:15SPEAKER_02: I think Tuesday has a feel.
- 3:01:17SPEAKER_02: And I think there's gonna be a lot of news to come out of the rest of the day today.
- 3:01:21SPEAKER_02: So we'll find out whether or not I'm right or wrong tomorrow morning.
- 3:01:24SPEAKER_02: In the meantime, if you missed any portion of today's broadcast, be sure to check out the podcast.
- 3:01:28SPEAKER_02: That'll be available up on the Mixa LR app shortly, as soon as the show concludes, and of course, across all the podcast platforms that you uh currently uh enjoy listening to the show too.
- 3:01:38SPEAKER_02: You can also do a rewatch of the show on Rumble, Facebook, and YouTube at Center of the Uh American Experiment.
- 3:01:46SPEAKER_02: Also on uh my feeds as well.
- 3:01:48SPEAKER_02: Have yourself a fantastic Tuesday.
- 3:01:50SPEAKER_02: I'll talk to you guys tomorrow morning at uh 6 a.m.
- 3:01:54SPEAKER_02: I had a request, and so we'll go ahead and go out with uh the Ilhan Blues to close things out for a Tuesday.
- 3:02:00SPEAKER_02: God bless.
- 3:02:00SPEAKER_02: I'll talk to you guys tomorrow.
- 3:02:01SPEAKER_02: Bye.
- 3:02:08SPEAKER_20: Hi, everyone, Ilhan here.
- 3:02:11SPEAKER_20: I just wanted to say thank you so much for the support to everyone who sent five, ten, and twenty dollars that goes a long way as we fight Trump and his administration.
- 3:02:29SPEAKER_20: I hope I can stay She's got the bags to be packed.
- 3:02:41SPEAKER_20: If she fade to the citizenship, she may never come back to my leader to America, but she's 17 or 18.
- 3:03:03SPEAKER_20: It remains to be seen.
- 3:03:07SPEAKER_20: She quickly rose the ranks in the capital, and the overseeing of committees with her eyes in Congress.
- 3:03:15SPEAKER_20: She capitalized on her identity.
- 3:03:18SPEAKER_20: A representative of Minnesota with a husband in a winery, but with the barrel's on drive.
- 3:03:29SPEAKER_20: Now the investigation is on the way, and the lineo means goodbye in Ilhan's native land, and an end to her activism is close at hand.
- 3:04:11SPEAKER_20: Did she marry her brother?
- 3:04:14SPEAKER_20: That remains to be seen.
- 3:04:17SPEAKER_20: But as wine runs dry, it's time to come clean.
- 3:04:22SPEAKER_20: She's got the ill hand blues and bags to be packed.
- 3:04:28SPEAKER_20: She faked her citizenship, she may never come back.
- 3:04:35SPEAKER_20: Hi everyone, Ilan here.
- 3:04:38SPEAKER_20: I just wanted to say for everyone who sent five, ten, and twenty dollars, that goes a long way as we fight Trump and his administration.
- 3:04:52SPEAKER_43: I hope I can stay with the money.
