- The Lets Play Podcast: Good morning, and welcome back to the Let's Play podcast. My name's Tyler, and I'm bringing you an audio version of Boulders Gate 3. Happy fucking Monday everybody. Hopefully you guys all had a very enjoyable weekend. I know I sure did. I got a bunch a bunch of house shit done. It was just nice to like unpack a bunch more shit and just hanging stuff up. But Enough about me. Let's let's get back to it. So I think the last thing that happened we had picked up Shadowheart and that was pretty much about it. So let's let's kick it. So what do we got here? We're sp we're kinda just on the beach still by the crash. These boots have seen everything. They don't remember anything. Backpack right here. Can I attack this? So we got a wooden barrel here. See if there's anything in it. Nothing. A lot of nothing. Let's pick up this backpack and pouch. I want the goddamn backpack. I was pick up this patch as well. Alright, so, looks like we got a couple dead bodies here that we're gonna loot a little bit. We got a dead fissure and then a dead brain. It was sad that we weren't able to save our friend. the little fucking brain guy. It would have been cool to have like a little companion thing running around with us. Another mingled fisherman. Off to the fallen broken down ship. So we're just like kinda walking to the beach, progressing more in the inland. we just got more fucking Dead bodies all over the floor, just picking up some loot, getting a little bit of gold. But yeah, I'm brilliantly excited to get into the thick of this. Once we kinda get through this tutorial area. just another dead brain. Seems like the dead brains don't have shit on them. we've commenced battle. We have three brains that are pushing us inside the ship. I don't know why they don't know that we're part of their team, but it's fun. All three of these fuckers just ran in. I think I might just try to get a good line of sight. But I can do an ice breath that'll hit both of them. Ice breath into that hit one for nine and I hit the other for three. Am I able to attack still? No. I can use fumble strike though. Recognizing this glimmer to be magical in nature, I reached out to it with a weaving of words and found myself on the other side. As it were. How about you? How did you survive the fall? To be honest, I have no clue. I took control of the ship, landed safely, and saved the day. I survived, that's all that matters. Well to be honest, I really don't know. Kill them for six. He's still sending an acid, so I don't really necessarily know if that's gonna do damage. the enemy tried to attack Anastarian, fails. So he's going to attack him with his dagger. Hits for five, misses on the other one. So we'll end the turn. It is Gaul's turn, so we're going to do a little bit of firebolt onto the enemy. Hit him for eight and he's dead. Like you can't make this shit up, it just keeps getting better and better. Having Gaul jump out of the acid just so I don't take any more damage. And next up is gonna be the enemy. Hopefully he attacks the Dark Urge though. No, he attacks Gaul, you fucking prick. Alright. Let's attack him. That's an 11 damage. The guy's sitting at six left. Shadowheart will bring you up and safer flame. Hit him for four, he's still alive with two HP. Starion, we're gonna have him run this way, and we'll have a shoot him a little arrow at the guy. Survival is all that matters. I'm ready. Astarian, just have you move this way so you can kinda the enemy is surprised. 65% chance of death. I wonder if this is worth the cost. So a starian's up first. And there's a fucking firobarrel here, so we're gonna blast it with a fireball. It's one guy for 10, 19, and killed killed two. Wow. Wow. Alright, we're gonna just move him back this way. And wait for these fuckers to come. And turn. We'll closed doors and we're going to end the turn. Firebolt on Dark Urge and hits for eight damage. And this guy's gonna run up and throw Throws a javelin at Dark Erge and misses. So it's starting turn, we're gonna have him attack the guy with the witch bolt because I think it gives him an advantage. Hits for six. We still got 5 HP left. Well, so much for peace. Dark Urge's turn. He is going to attack the guy that just attacked him. He's got 15 HP left. Pin him for 9. It's Ax and Surge. Why don't we? And we're gonna attack this guy again. Misses. And then I close the door just so we don't not get hit. Imperial. Ooh. Entangling snare misses. Interesting. So she misses with the spell. And then she attacks Starian and then runs. Do a little bit of sacred flame. 45% chance. And he's dead. That's what we like to see. That is what we like to see. I think I am gonna do a little bit of healing and dark urge. Perfection and end turn. It's Gaul's turn. I wish there was a way to like Save an action or something. I guess we'll just put some mage armor on.
