Speaker 1: You look at New York. I mean, he's a nice guy,
• 0:03
Speaker 1: calls me all the time, says Hi. But his policies
• 0:08
Speaker 1: are no good. He's chasing people out and causing a
• 0:11
Speaker 1: lot of harm to everybody. I mean, everybody's taxes are
• 0:13
Speaker 1: going through the roof. Addition, you, in addition to no
• 0:16
Speaker 1: tax on Social Security open fifty one million seniors now pay.
• 0:20
Speaker 1: Seniors are loving me, and I love them. Of course
• 0:24
Speaker 1: I'm not a senior, so you know I cater to
• 0:27
Speaker 1: the seniors, but I don't happen to be a senior myself.
• 0:30
Speaker 1: Thank you very much.
• 0:31
Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
• 0:35
Speaker 3: Good Saturday morning. Nice to have you with us on
• 0:37
Speaker 3: the forty seven Morning Update. Well, if you want to
• 0:40
Speaker 3: know what Democrats are going to do if they gain
• 0:42
Speaker 3: control of the House and the Senate this coming midterm elections,
• 0:45
Speaker 3: well you don't have to guess. Hillary Clinton is now
• 0:48
Speaker 3: getting in on the action and telling you exactly what
• 0:51
Speaker 3: their playbook is and guess what it includes. Impeaching Donald
• 0:55
Speaker 3: Trump yet again, I have all the details.
• 0:58
Speaker 4: I want to take a quick moment.
• 1:00
Speaker 3: I talk to you about an incredible organization and it
• 1:02
Speaker 3: is called Compassion International and how you can get involved.
• 1:07
Speaker 3: I want to be honest with you for a second
• 1:09
Speaker 3: about how an act of compassion really feels. A couple
• 1:13
Speaker 3: of years ago, I made the choice to partner with
• 1:16
Speaker 3: an amazing organization called Compassion International. Why because I wanted
• 1:21
Speaker 3: to sponsor a child in need. It was a nice idea, sure,
• 1:25
Speaker 3: but I had no idea just how much that simple
• 1:28
Speaker 3: act would change my life as well. I sponsored Nadia
• 1:33
Speaker 3: and got to watch your life change right in front
• 1:35
Speaker 3: of my eyes, going from starving literally alone on the streets,
• 1:40
Speaker 3: to getting the healthcare and education she needs to reach
• 1:43
Speaker 3: her God given full potential. I got to be a
• 1:47
Speaker 3: part of that change, and the light of that compassion
• 1:50
Speaker 3: not only illuminates in her, it illuminates now in me.
• 1:54
Speaker 3: That is the power of compassion. The light of Christ
• 1:58
Speaker 3: shines on all of us. Feel it for yourself and
• 2:02
Speaker 3: change literally a child's life, change the world, and you
• 2:06
Speaker 3: also change yourself. You can sponsor child today. Visit Compassion
• 2:11
Speaker 3: dot com. That's Compassion dot com. It's a forty seven
• 2:16
Speaker 3: morning update and it starts right now.
• 2:18
  Speaker 2: Story number one.
• 2:20
Speaker 3: Well, we know what the Democrats are going to say
• 2:23
Speaker 3: ahead of the midterms, that Donald Trump is a narcissistic,
• 2:27
Speaker 3: reckless person that cannot be trusted with power.
• 2:32
Speaker 4: Not kidding that is now what is being said.
• 2:36
Speaker 3: Hillary Clinton is now the face, I guess of all
• 2:39
Speaker 3: of this. Reining in, she says, a reckless Trump before
• 2:43
Speaker 3: he does irrepairable damage is the new talking point, as
• 2:48
Speaker 3: she called into Morning Joe the former Secretary of State,
• 2:52
Speaker 3: saying Republicans need to reign in the present, otherwise it
• 2:56
  Speaker 3: could destroy America.
• 2:58
Speaker 4: Here she is, in her own words.
• 3:01
Speaker 5: Render deal by Trump. But the bigger question is what
• 3:04
Speaker 5: does Trump do now? You know, I teach a course
• 3:07
Speaker 5: at Columbia University with the dean of the School of
• 3:09
Speaker 5: International Public Affairs. We've been on your program, and among
• 3:13
Speaker 5: the things we teach is behavior of leaders. And there's
• 3:17
Speaker 5: something called domain of loss, which means when a leader
• 3:20
Speaker 5: feels that he's losing, he actually becomes more reckless. And
• 3:26
Speaker 5: I fear that with Trump. You know, he's found the
• 3:29
Speaker 5: joy of ordering our military to go do things that
• 3:32
Speaker 5: give him a lot of dopamine. I guess when he's
• 3:36
Speaker 5: in the situation room watching them, you know, take out
• 3:39
Speaker 5: Maduro from you know, Venezuela, or attack Iran or whatever.
• 3:45
Speaker 5: I just worried that he's going to become more reckless.
• 3:48
Speaker 5: And this is a call to the Congress, including the Republicans,
• 3:53
Speaker 5: to step up and do your constitutional duty rein in
• 3:59
Speaker 5: this presence before he causes absolutely irreparable damage to our country,
• 4:06
Speaker 5: to our military, standing, to our authority and leadership. Do
• 4:11
Speaker 5: not let him continue to be a rogue player in
• 4:15
Speaker 5: the international arena, because I fear he will get more reckless.
• 4:21
Speaker 5: And I will tell you when we win these midterm elections,
• 4:23
Speaker 5: because look, if the elections were today or next week
• 4:26
Speaker 5: or the following week, we would win both the House
• 4:28
Speaker 5: and the Senate. And I hope that's what happens in November,
• 4:31
Speaker 5: both because I want to see change, but also I
• 4:34
Speaker 5: want to see him held accountable. And so let's do
• 4:38
Speaker 5: it now, because I'm not sure we can wait and
• 4:41
Speaker 5: allow him, you know, free range to along with his
• 4:45
Speaker 5: buddy Hagsath, to you know, tell our military to go
• 4:49
Speaker 5: do things that are not even in the interests of
• 4:52
Speaker 5: the United States, as well as breaching you know, the
• 4:55
Speaker 5: laws of war. So look, I worry a lot about
• 5:00
Speaker 5: now more irrational and unhinged he could become.
• 5:05
Speaker 3: You listen to Hillary Clinton there and the translation from
• 5:09
Speaker 3: what you just heard is we are going to impeach
• 5:12
Speaker 3: Donald Trump if we win the midterms. We are going
• 5:15
Speaker 3: to impeach him. We're going to go after head seth,
• 5:18
Speaker 3: We're going to go after JD. Vance, and we're going
• 5:21
Speaker 3: to overthrow the will of the people because you cannot
• 5:25
Speaker 3: trust the American people to choose their leader. That is
• 5:28
Speaker 3: what Hillary Clinton is advocating for there. This, by the way,
• 5:33
Speaker 3: should not be surprising at all because it's exactly what
• 5:37
Speaker 3: the Democrats did in twenty sixteen when Hillary Clinton lost
• 5:41
Speaker 3: the election. What do the Democrats do? They said, Oh, no, no,
• 5:45
Speaker 3: we'll fix it. Don't worry, we will fix it. How
• 5:51
Speaker 3: do they do it? They said, And I'll go back
• 5:54
Speaker 3: to the FBI Peter Struckley's a page. We're not going
• 5:57
Speaker 3: to let that happen, right, We're going to go after
• 5:59
Speaker 3: the We're going to entrap him. We're going to get
• 6:03
Speaker 3: him out of office. We will get rid of him. Now,
• 6:09
Speaker 3: what's amazing this time is, I guess you could say
• 6:11
Speaker 3: how tone death, and it really is tone death?
• 6:15
  Speaker 4: How tone death.
• 6:18
Speaker 3: Hillary Clinton seems to be over what she did in
• 6:21
Speaker 3: the past. And that is the part here that is
• 6:25
Speaker 3: truly shocking to me is that she's like, let's go
• 6:29
Speaker 3: back and do the exact same thing that we did before,
• 6:33
Speaker 3: and we'll see if it happens to work.
• 6:38
Speaker 4: She wasn't done there, by the way.
• 6:40
Speaker 3: The second part of the interview, and you're gonna hear
• 6:44
Speaker 3: it here with Morning Joe hosts and co hosts Mika
• 6:48
Speaker 3: and Joe Scarborough, but listen to how they're trying to
• 6:51
Speaker 3: rally the troops the Democratic Party that hey, we can
• 6:54
Speaker 3: get rid of Trump, we can get rid of anybody
• 6:57
Speaker 3: that we want to if you just give us power
• 6:59
Speaker 3: in the mid terms and away Clinton's like, well, you
• 7:02
Speaker 3: can't even wait till then, which is insane.
• 7:05
Speaker 4: Let's talk about Israel.
• 7:06
Speaker 6: You spoke briefly about NETANYAHUO in Israel. I know you've
• 7:09
Speaker 6: always been a strong supporter of Israel. You've spoken out
• 7:12
Speaker 6: aggressively against anti Semitism. You've in fact been attacked time
• 7:18
Speaker 6: and time again when you give speeches because people believe
• 7:22
Speaker 6: that you are too strong of a supporter of Israel.
• 7:26
Speaker 6: And yet you I've heard you and President Clinton talk
• 7:31
Speaker 6: about the tragedy of how far net Yeah, who has
• 7:35
Speaker 6: taken us from where the Clinton administration had us in
• 7:39
Speaker 6: the Oslo Accords, where there was an extraordinary deal for
• 7:43
Speaker 6: the Palestinians that they passed up on, which led to
• 7:47
Speaker 6: the saying to begin the Palestinians ever passed up an opportunity,
• 7:51
Speaker 6: to pass up an opportunity that said, here we are
• 7:54
Speaker 6: all these years later and net Yahoo continuing endless war,
• 8:01
Speaker 6: the bombing of it seems like half of Lebanon. We
• 8:04
Speaker 6: saw what happened in Gaza. Every day, horrors being visited
• 8:10
Speaker 6: upon the people of the West Bank. Talk about talk
• 8:15
Speaker 6: about the real damage that Benjamin et Yahoo is doing, not.
• 8:21
Speaker 4: Just to the region, but also to Israel.
• 8:23
Speaker 6: You've seen, you've seen how a majority of Americans have
• 8:27
Speaker 6: now turned against Israel in our time.
• 8:31
Speaker 4: That was unheard of.
• 8:32
Speaker 6: Madam Secretary, what's the future for Israel?
• 8:37
Speaker 5: Well, he's got a pretty good summary of the problem. Joe,
• 8:41
Speaker 5: I do support Israel. I am a staunch supporter of Israel,
• 8:45
Speaker 5: and I am a staunch opponent of Benjamin Netnyahu. He
• 8:48
Speaker 5: has stayed too long. He has, in my view, undermined
• 8:53
Speaker 5: Israel's long term security, and I am very worried about
• 9:00
Speaker 5: what's happening. You know, when people say, well, you've got
• 9:03
Speaker 5: to support net Yahoo if you are, you know, pro
• 9:08
Speaker 5: Israeli or Israel. Well, I say, look, I love America
• 9:12
Speaker 5: and I'm really opposed to Donald Trump. Does that make
• 9:15
Speaker 5: me anti American? I don't think so. It makes me
• 9:19
Speaker 5: a you know, fair observer in my view of you know,
• 9:22
Speaker 5: assessing what is in the best interests of my country,
• 9:26
Speaker 5: and I feel the same way about Israel. Now, look,
• 9:29
Speaker 5: I think there has been a very important effort to
• 9:37
Speaker 5: push back and to defeat the axis of the enemies
• 9:42
Speaker 5: that Iran put together Hamas, which remember started, you know,
• 9:47
Speaker 5: the terrible sequence of events back on October seventh of
• 9:51
Speaker 5: twenty twenty three, and his law. But we see his
• 9:55
Speaker 5: law is not by any means defeated because we're engaged
• 9:58
Speaker 5: in an war now in southern Lebanon. I would wish
• 10:04
Speaker 5: the following number one, And finally, there seems to be
• 10:08
Speaker 5: some opening here. I've been advocating behind the scenes for
• 10:11
Speaker 5: this now for several months. Israel should support this Lebanese government.
• 10:16
Speaker 5: There has not been a better Lebanese government since the
• 10:20
Speaker 5: Syrians and Iranians assassinated Hereari. They are trying, they do,
• 10:25
Speaker 5: they have all the capacity they need, know, but they
• 10:29
Speaker 5: are trying to set up a government in Lebanon that
• 10:33
Speaker 5: can deal with the threat that his law poses internally
• 10:37
Speaker 5: to Lebanon. And so rather than making their task even harder,
• 10:42
Speaker 5: you know, work with this new government in Lebanon. See
• 10:45
Speaker 5: how far you can help them to go to disarm
• 10:48
Speaker 5: his law, to create better conditions for a lasting, secure
• 10:54
Speaker 5: peace between Lebanon and Israel. And for Heaven's sake, rein
• 10:58
Speaker 5: in the settler islands. It is unacceptable. The West Bank
• 11:03
Speaker 5: is filled with people who want a better future for
• 11:06
Speaker 5: themselves and their families. Let's help them with that. Let's
• 11:11
Speaker 5: make it more likely that they could be allies instead
• 11:15
Speaker 5: of adversaries. But if you're going to continue to blow
• 11:17
Speaker 5: up their homes and allow people to destroy their olive
• 11:20
Speaker 5: growths and everything else that is going on now, you're
• 11:23
Speaker 5: just creating the next generation of people who are going
• 11:26
Speaker 5: to hate what does next door to them in Israel.
• 11:29
Speaker 5: That is no way to try to create a secure
• 11:33
  Speaker 5: Israel going forward.
• 11:35
Speaker 3: Isn't it interesting how Hillary Clinton there just completely contradicts herself.
• 11:39
Speaker 3: She's like, I'm the biggest advocate for Israel, but I
• 11:43
Speaker 3: hate the Israeli leader and I think he is a
• 11:45
Speaker 3: terrible person and we should be done with them, and
• 11:46
Speaker 3: then she immediately says that Israel is evil and mean
• 11:51
Speaker 3: because they're blowing up terrists homes and making a buffer
• 11:56
Speaker 3: zone because of the terrorists Hamas and hees Blah that
• 12:01
Speaker 3: she admits are a terrorist group, a terrorist organization. Like
• 12:06
Speaker 3: the idea here that Hillary Clinton is still the leader
• 12:10
Speaker 3: de facto in the Democratic Party in many ways, and
• 12:14
Speaker 3: you're hearing it during this interview. She is acting as
• 12:17
Speaker 3: if she is the king maker moving forward, and she
• 12:20
Speaker 3: very well may be. That is like legitimate, real, real possibility.
• 12:30
Speaker 3: I think it is shocking to hear her describe the
• 12:34
Speaker 3: situation the way she is and at the same time
• 12:37
Speaker 3: say I am pro Israel. If that is pro Israel,
• 12:41
Speaker 3: then don't count me in because I would never want
• 12:44
Speaker 3: to act as if and talk about Israel the way
• 12:47
Speaker 3: that Hillary Clinton is. So as we go into these midterms,
• 12:51
Speaker 3: understand the playbook is still the same. Have a weak
• 12:55
Speaker 3: foreign policy, criticize your allies more than the terrorists. You
• 13:00
Speaker 3: just heard it from Hillary Clinton there, and we're going
• 13:04
Speaker 3: to get rid of Donald Trump at all costs.
• 13:07
Speaker 4: That is the entire ball game.
• 13:11
