- 0:08Speaker 2: can't just all be fun and games and.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Guessing who's gas.
- 0:11Speaker 3: No, I don't.
- 0:13Speaker 1: I know.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Sometimes we got to get serious.
- 0:14Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 0:15Speaker 3: Got to learn stuff.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Well, it's time for the Menace Word of the Day.
- 0:21Speaker 4: Oh, yes.
- 0:22Speaker 2: The Word of the Day calendar that we have here
- 0:24Speaker 2: for Menace. He gets a page from that. It's got
- 0:26Speaker 2: the word on there, which he's going to give us
- 0:28Speaker 2: his best shot at the pronunciation, as he would say. Oh, yeah.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Speaking of which.
- 0:34Speaker 5: Hold on.
- 0:35Speaker 2: You know how people just, they don't get.
- 0:37Speaker 6: Yeah, they often don't get.
- 0:39Speaker 1: A lot of people are just not getting.
- 0:41Speaker 2: All right. This was an After Hours voicemail that came in.
- 0:45Speaker 2: This one's about you, Seabass. Yeah, here we go.
- 0:48Speaker 7: Morning, studio. I just have to tease Sebastian. He is actually,
- 0:55Speaker 7: was my first favorite, so I just want to say
- 0:57Speaker 7: that right off the bat. But Sebastian, for a Mensa member...
- 1:03Speaker 7: pronouncing it supposedly as opposed to supposedly come on guy
- 1:11Speaker 7: have a good day bye-bye all.
- 1:13Speaker 6: Right bye yeah you idiot i'm very stupid and uh
- 1:16Speaker 6: i should not have done that unintentionally yeah.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Well it's like how we say pronunciation right because menace
- 1:22Speaker 2: will say pronunciation unironically he just he says it because
- 1:26Speaker 2: he has a hard time with the word sometimes.
- 1:28Speaker 6: Right but you know supposedly is a word Wasn't that
- 1:32Speaker 6: like a later addition to.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Help the stupids?
- 1:35Speaker 7: Maybe.
- 1:35Speaker 6: Because there's a lot of things.
- 1:36Speaker 2: I mean, that is not the word.
- 1:37Speaker 6: That is not the word.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Yeah. And so when Seabass said it, to his credit, yeah,
- 1:42Speaker 2: he's being silly the same way we say, you know,
- 1:45Speaker 2: pronunciation or burdiction.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Burdiction.
- 1:48Speaker 3: He's doing this so bad thing called sarcasm.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Menace word of the day. So there is the pronunciation...
- 1:55Speaker 2: I'm sorry, the pronunciation guy. And then also... The definitions,
- 2:00Speaker 2: it is used in a sentence.

- 2:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Yeah, sure is. Right there.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Whoa. This is a brutal one. Okay.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Like... I can hear it in my mind, but I
- 2:29Speaker 3: can't say it out loud.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Well, give it a shot.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Let's try it. Intercircumcision.
- 2:35Speaker 8: I like that version better.
- 2:40Speaker 6: Circumcision?
- 2:41Speaker 1: Cold.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Interdiscumminication.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Interdiscumminication?
- 2:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:49Speaker 6: Are you in there?
- 2:50Speaker 3: No. Interdiscrimination?
- 2:56Speaker 2: I-N-D-I-S-C-R-I-M-I-N-A-T-I-O-N for the audience.
- 3:01Speaker 3: That's for the audience. The pronunciation guide is.
- 3:03Speaker 1: That should really be helpful. Oh, yeah, it is.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Yeah, what planet is that from?
- 3:08Speaker 1: What language is that in?
- 3:10Speaker 3: It's got phonemes in it.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Can you even make that out?
- 3:13Speaker 9: No.
- 3:13Speaker 3: It says Indy.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Those guides never help me.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Yeah, it says Indy.
- 3:17Speaker 1: I.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Think he purposely... I don't know.
- 3:19Speaker 6: I had to write whole papers in that in college.
- 3:21Speaker 2: I'd never use it again. Congrats. All right. Give it
- 3:24Speaker 2: one more shot. Okay.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Indiscriminationation.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Mationation. Sermonationation.
- 3:35Speaker 3: I see it and hear it in my mind, but
- 3:38Speaker 3: I just can't get it out.
- 3:39Speaker 6: I like how he'll repeat syllables when they're not written
- 3:43Speaker 6: that way.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Have you heard the word indiscrimination?
- 3:45Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:46Speaker 1: That's it.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Indiscriminations.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Oh, my God. Nailed it. Nailed it.
- 3:49Speaker 5: Duh.
- 3:49Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 3:49Speaker 1: All right. What is it again?
- 3:52Speaker 3: Indiscrimination.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Okay. Got it.
- 3:54Speaker 7: All right.
- 3:54Speaker 1: What are the definitions?
- 3:56Speaker 3: The failure to see or make a difference between the
- 3:59Speaker 3: two things or people or the failure to make the
- 4:02Speaker 3: correct choice between them.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 4:05Speaker 5: Boom.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Definition number two?
- 4:07Speaker 3: The practiced refusal to weigh differences in kind of, oh, sorry,
- 4:13Speaker 3: or degree when choosing or Allocating.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Allocating.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Number three.
- 4:19Speaker 7: Three.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Lack or nuisance detection.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Sorry. One more time. Detection. What was number three again?
- 4:30Speaker 3: Lack of nuisance detection.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Nuisanced. Okay. Nuanced. Nuanced. Nuanced. All right.
- 4:38Speaker 7: All right.
- 4:39Speaker 2: So today's word is what?
- 4:40Speaker 3: I already forgot how to say it.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Give it another shot.
- 4:44Speaker 7: Intercept.
- 4:48Speaker 5: See?
- 4:48Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 4:49Speaker 3: You have to say, I'm like a parrot. You have
- 4:50Speaker 3: to say it correctly.
- 4:51Speaker 1: I say it. And then I can say it.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Give it another shot.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Inter-circumstances.
- 4:55Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 4:57Speaker 6: I like that.
- 4:58Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Indiscrimination.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Indiscrimination.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Got it. Indiscrimination.
- 5:03Speaker 2: We literally said it. I know.
- 5:05Speaker 1: 30 seconds ago.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Didn't retain it.
- 5:09Speaker 2: All right. Used in a sentence. Today's word, which is?
- 5:12Speaker 3: Say it one more time.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I'm asking you to say it one more time.
- 5:15Speaker 3: Indiscrimination.
- 5:16Speaker 1: There it is. Okay, here we go.
- 5:18Speaker 3: When presented with a panoli or a palatable provisions, menace
- 5:30Speaker 3: becomes a gluttonous, gourmet, interesting, all things gastronomic, With indiscrimination.
- 5:41Speaker 6: Nailed it.
- 5:42Speaker 1: You all got that right.
- 5:43Speaker 3: I didn't even see it. Hopper's Bazaar. June 2026.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Oh, you got published in Harper's. Okay.
- 5:51Speaker 7: Nice.
- 5:51Speaker 2: So let's take it word for word in this sentence here.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Okay. So I'll give you when. When presented. Right. With a.
- 5:57Speaker 1: With a. Penali. Penali.
- 6:01Speaker 6: There's an extra P in there.
- 6:02Speaker 3: You're not kidding. Penolope.
- 6:05Speaker 6: She's nice.
- 6:09Speaker 7: What?
- 6:10Speaker 1: Oh, I thought you were going to say it.
- 6:11Speaker 3: You said it one more time.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. So I did. I said it one more time.
- 6:16Speaker 1: All right. Sorry.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Seabass said there's another P.
- 6:20Speaker 1: In that word. Yeah. Not Hanalee. Yeah. And I said it.
- 6:23Speaker 6: He said Penelope.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Yeah. Penelope. Okay.
- 6:27Speaker 7: Sure.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Yep. All right. Are we moving on?
- 6:31Speaker 2: Go for it. This next two-letter word is the one
- 6:34Speaker 2: you seem to have the most trouble with.
- 6:35Speaker 7: Of.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Yeah, ofs become ors. Ors become ofs.
- 6:39Speaker 5: Have you noticed that?
- 6:39Speaker 7: Yeah, absolutely.
- 6:40Speaker 6: And sometimes they'll become ands.
- 6:42Speaker 2: I know, but I'm saying typically. Almost every time. Of
- 6:46Speaker 2: always becomes or. Ors always become ands.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Okay.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Next one is palatable. This is the closest I'm going
- 6:54Speaker 3: to get to that.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Palatable. Yeah. Paddle boats.
- 6:57Speaker 3: And then provisions.
- 6:58Speaker 7: Right.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Correct.
- 6:59Speaker 1: All right. And then it's your name. Yeah. Menace.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Welcomes a gluttonous.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Well, not welcomes.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Oh, becomes a gluttonous.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Gourmet. This is I'm not familiar with this word.
- 7:10Speaker 1: This is a lovely word.
- 7:11Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 7:11Speaker 6: This has an N in it.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Your favorite.
- 7:14Speaker 5: Madden.
- 7:15Speaker 7: What?
- 7:16Speaker 1: Your favorite letter is N. Yeah. And you're skipping the
- 7:18Speaker 1: N when you say gourmet.
- 7:19Speaker 3: Shout out to N's.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Good point.
- 7:21Speaker 2: The letter.
- 7:22Speaker 7: Not the internet slang.
- 7:23Speaker 2: What are you talking about, Seabass?
- 7:24Speaker 7: What?
- 7:24Speaker 1: Gorman.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Gorman.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Close. Gourmand. Gourmand. Okay.
- 7:42Speaker 8: What is that?
- 7:42Speaker 2: I've not heard of that word.
- 7:43Speaker 1: What is that? A fan of fine food.
- 7:46Speaker 2: A foodie.
- 7:46Speaker 7: Foodie.
- 7:47Speaker 3: A gourmand.
- 7:48Speaker 9: Oh.
- 7:49Speaker 2: So that one you might have to retain this.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Gourmand?
- 7:51Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 7:53Speaker 5: All right. Okay.
- 7:53Speaker 9: All right.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Ingesting all things gastrotomic.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Close.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Gastronomonic.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Gastronomonic. He loves doubling up. Yeah.
- 8:05Speaker 6: Doubling up syllables.
- 8:07Speaker 1: No. Not gastrotomic.
- 8:10Speaker 7: Hmm.
- 8:10Speaker 6: It's your favorite letter again.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Gastronomic.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Gastronomic?
- 8:17Speaker 2: Gastronomic. Like a condition, like a gastro, your digestion, like
- 8:24Speaker 2: something with your... Things you ingest.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Right. All right.
- 8:28Speaker 2: You've not heard that word?
- 8:29Speaker 7: Nope.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Okay. All right.
- 8:30Speaker 5: All right.
- 8:32Speaker 4: With.
- 8:34Speaker 2: It's the word of the day, dude.
- 8:37Speaker 1: With intercircumstances.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Yeah, interscrimination.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Interscrimination. Menace word of the day, everybody.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Indiscrimination.
- 8:48Speaker 3: I still got to figure out the definition of one
- 8:50Speaker 3: more time.
- 8:51Speaker 6: In your words, what would it mean, Menace, the word
- 8:53Speaker 6: of the day?
- 8:53Speaker 1: Just do it once?
- 8:55Speaker 5: No.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Oh, I thought you were talking about the definition of
- 8:59Speaker 3: one more time.
- 8:59Speaker 1: How would you define it?
- 9:00Speaker 2: What would indiscrimination mean?
- 9:04Speaker 3: Indiscrimination. I would say, in my words, don't discriminate against people.
- 9:15Speaker 6: It's more like I'll take anything that comes at me.
- 9:18Speaker 1: It's whatevs.
- 9:18Speaker 3: You're not choosy.
- 9:20Speaker 6: So in the sentence, it's like menace when there's a
- 9:22Speaker 6: pile of food in front of menace.
- 9:23Speaker 2: He's just like, whatevs.
- 9:25Speaker 1: I don't need to pick and choose. I'll just eat
- 9:26Speaker 1: it all. I'll have whatever.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Don't wait.
- 9:30Speaker 3: But I'm not discriminating against the food.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Yeah, it's all. Indiscrimination. You don't discriminate.
- 9:36Speaker 3: Did I just say that?
- 9:37Speaker 6: You said people.
- 9:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Or food. All right.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Well, I'm not sure this one's going to stick.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Yeah. And you didn't know the word gourmand. I've not
- 9:49Speaker 1: heard that word. I have not heard the word panoply.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Is that how you say it?
- 9:52Speaker 6: Panoply.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I don't know that word. What is it? Panoply. When
- 9:56Speaker 1: presented with a panoply.
- 9:57Speaker 6: But in context.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Plethora. Exactly. In context, I get it, but I've never
- 10:02Speaker 1: heard panoply. It's like plethora.
- 10:04Speaker 2: It's like plethora.
- 10:05Speaker 6: Which we all know from the famous.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Menace knows plethora. Plethora.
- 10:09Speaker 6: Three Amigos.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Yeah, prefla. Oh, yeah.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Prefla.
- 10:13Speaker 1: That was one of those words, yeah.
- 10:14Speaker 3: What's the word that you're trying to get again?
- 10:16Speaker 1: This one right there.
- 10:17Speaker 4: Panoply?
- 10:17Speaker 7: Panoply?
- 10:18Speaker 6: Is like Plethora.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Never heard that one.
- 10:21Speaker 3: It's like Monopoly, but not. It kind of is.
- 10:25Speaker 1: I'm looking for.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, we do. Here, this is what.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Prefala.
- 10:31Speaker 1: I knew we had it in here. And that's now Penelope.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Yeah, here's all the words that begin with the letter
- 10:38Speaker 2: P that Menace has a hard time with.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Penis.
- 10:42Speaker 7: Penis?
- 10:43Speaker 1: Pianist. Pianist, that's right. Pianist.
- 10:45Speaker 2: How about this one?
- 10:46Speaker 6: Peevision.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Peevision. This one I have no idea.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Provision?
- 10:50Speaker 1: Possibly. P-Vision. Don't know. Particularly. That's basically it. Close enough.
- 10:58Speaker 1: How about this one?
- 10:58Speaker 3: Predication.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Predication. Predication.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Predication.
- 11:03Speaker 1: All right, then we got it.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Yeah, there we go. There's all the P's. Those are good.
- 11:10Speaker 1: In the archive. The words he can't say are alphabetized.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Pick another letter, Greg.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Um.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Do we have any N's?
- 11:20Speaker 3: Never.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Or R's? Yeah, we do. We do. Okay.
- 11:23Speaker 2: We have. N all day.
- 11:26Speaker 1: All day. Let's see.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 11:29Speaker 3: How about national organization?
- 11:31Speaker 2: That was supposed to be national organization.
- 11:36Speaker 1: How about this one?
- 11:37Speaker 7: Nuclear.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Nuclear. The classic.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Yeah. Nectar.
- 11:41Speaker 3: What?
- 11:42Speaker 5: Nectar?
- 11:42Speaker 1: Nectar.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Maybe nectar.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Nectar?
- 11:47Speaker 3: Next year.
- 11:47Speaker 2: That's supposed to be next year.
- 11:49Speaker 7: Oh.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Next year. Yeah.
- 11:52Speaker 2: But Menace, what's the whole no need?
- 11:53Speaker 3: No need to use fancy words like imicomicado.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Yeah. Thank you. That's right.
- 11:57Speaker 2: There you go. There's your Menace word of the.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Day, everybody.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Nice.
- 12:01Speaker 2: The Woody, Woody, Woody Show.
- 12:03Speaker 1: All right.
- 12:05Speaker 2: So this is a question for Greg. Greg Gorin.
- 12:09Speaker 1: I hope I have an answer.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Lisa Kudrow loves you.
- 12:15Speaker 7: What?
- 12:15Speaker 2: She loves you. The Friends fans.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Oh, thank you, Lisa.
- 12:20Speaker 2: But there is one thing she will not do for them.
- 12:26Speaker 2: What is it?
- 12:27Speaker 1: I'm going to guess, and I had this high thought
- 12:29Speaker 1: the other day that... Another one? Yeah. Don't you guys
- 12:33Speaker 1: think that the autograph is essentially dead, that the photo
- 12:36Speaker 1: has replaced the autograph? Yes.
- 12:37Speaker 6: Yeah, unless you're trying to sell something.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Right. So I'm going to guess.
- 12:41Speaker 2: I've seen people, they ask, hey, take the photograph and
- 12:43Speaker 2: then use their finger to sign.
- 12:45Speaker 6: Uh-huh, the digital.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Oh, that's a good idea.
- 12:47Speaker 2: But there's a lot of celebrities who don't want to
- 12:48Speaker 2: do that because then it's a digital map of their
- 12:51Speaker 2: signature as opposed to just like taking a pen and...
- 12:54Speaker 2: Not that you can't get it or lift it off of... Well,
- 12:57Speaker 2: there are certain celebrities that won't sign with blue. Like
- 13:00Speaker 2: blue markers. There's something about... Look it up. There's something
- 13:03Speaker 2: about blue markers or pens.
- 13:05Speaker 3: It can be replicated or something like that.
- 13:08Speaker 2: And then they basically just stamp it on all this
- 13:10Speaker 2: other stuff and then sell it. You get those adult
- 13:13Speaker 2: autograph hounds that do that stuff. Anyway, back to Lisa Kudrow.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Taking a photo. She says, quote, sometimes people will stop
- 13:23Speaker 2: me and say, Oh, sing Smelly Cat.
- 13:26Speaker 9: Yeah, do that.
- 13:27Speaker 2: That's what I was thinking. I don't want to do that.
- 13:29Speaker 2: I really don't.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Want to do that. Yeah, why would you?
- 13:32Speaker 6: I don't blame her.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Yeah, you guys remember from Friends, Smelly Cat.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Smelly Cat, Smelly Cat, what are they feeding you?
- 13:41Speaker 3: Everybody!
- 13:42Speaker 9: Smelly Cat, Smelly Cat, what are.
- 13:46Speaker 2: They feeding you? What's the matter, Tyler? What's with that
- 13:50Speaker 2: look on Tyler's face?
- 13:52Speaker 1: I absolutely hate this song.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Well, it's not really a song. There's more to it.
- 14:00Speaker 5: I hate all of Friends in general.
- 14:03Speaker 1: What?
- 14:04Speaker 5: Look, I've tried multiple times to give it a chance.
- 14:07Speaker 1: He chose violence today, Greg. Oh, my God.
- 14:09Speaker 5: I stop at season four. I can't do it. I
- 14:12Speaker 5: hate all the characters. Ross is single-handedly one of the
- 14:14Speaker 5: worst characters I've ever seen in all of TV. Tyler,
- 14:17Speaker 5: that's because.
- 14:18Speaker 1: You only went to season four. I agree with you.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Early Ross sucks and should die. Why?
- 14:24Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 14:24Speaker 1: I don't know enough about it. Because he nailed his character.
- 14:27Speaker 1: He's supposed to be whiny and annoying and a complainer.
- 14:32Speaker 1: But then, as the seasons progress, once you get past season,
- 14:35Speaker 1: let's say, six or so, he becomes one of the
- 14:37Speaker 1: funnier ones. He gets cooler. Now, the one thing I
- 14:39Speaker 1: will say as a hardcore fan. and hardcore Friends fans
- 14:43Speaker 1: hate when I say this, the worst character on the
- 14:45Speaker 1: entire series is Joey. He's useless. He's impossibly stupid. It's
- 14:50Speaker 1: so annoying.
- 14:51Speaker 6: He's kind of one-dimensional.
- 14:52Speaker 1: I love him.
- 14:53Speaker 2: But isn't that the point?
- 14:55Speaker 1: It is.
- 14:56Speaker 3: He's a garnish. He shouldn't be.
- 14:57Speaker 2: But I'm saying he's supposed to be one-dimensional and stupid.
- 15:00Speaker 2: That's literally the character.
- 15:02Speaker 6: It's an annoying character.
- 15:03Speaker 1: True, but he's impossibly stupid. Nobody's that stupid.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Dude, I was on an international flight and they had Joey...
- 15:09Speaker 3: the TV show, which I forgot existed. And I was like,
- 15:12Speaker 3: and I was like, everyone always said how bad it was.
- 15:14Speaker 2: I go, you know what?
- 15:15Speaker 3: I'm going to watch it. So I started watching some episodes.
- 15:19Speaker 3: It was actually, wasn't that bad.
- 15:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 15:21Speaker 3: I think people were like way too hard on it.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Well, there was an expectation maybe set.
- 15:25Speaker 3: It was a little more risque as well. Like he
- 15:27Speaker 3: had a, um, uh, a sister on the show and
- 15:31Speaker 3: they were like talking about her boots and like how
- 15:33Speaker 3: flat her stomach was. And like, they're like going to
- 15:36Speaker 3: the club and getting laid with his like nephew.
- 15:39Speaker 1: So what Joey really was supposed to be on Friends.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Yeah. What's your favorite show of shows like that? So,
- 15:47Speaker 2: you know, don't give me like some nerd, you know,
- 15:49Speaker 2: adult animation show. Like of all the classic.
- 15:52Speaker 6: I think we've heard of.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Tyler, of all the classic. Questionable taste, obviously. Of all
- 15:56Speaker 1: the classics.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Of all the classic sitcoms and shows.
- 15:59Speaker 1: What would you say is your favorite? If you hate Friends.
- 16:01Speaker 5: Seinfeld is number one. How I Met Your Mother is
- 16:03Speaker 5: number two.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Okay.
- 16:04Speaker 2: I love both of those. Why is Bort grown?
- 16:07Speaker 1: For that one, I don't know. I don't know.
- 16:09Speaker 2: How I Met Your Mother was fine.
- 16:11Speaker 1: I never watched that.
- 16:12Speaker 3: Hard for it.
- 16:13Speaker 2: But that one wore thin very quickly.
- 16:15Speaker 3: And they hated the finale.
- 16:17Speaker 5: The finale.
- 16:18Speaker 1: The whole entire last season is god awful.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Same with Seinfeld. The finale sucked.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Yeah. And people always want to pit Friends against Seinfeld.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Because they were the two top shows at the time.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Because they were the two big sitcoms of the 90s.
- 16:30Speaker 1: I like both. Yeah. Yeah. You don't have to do
- 16:32Speaker 1: one or the other. You can do both.
- 16:34Speaker 3: You can tape one.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it doesn't matter. It doesn't erase the other one
- 16:37Speaker 2: from history. They were both very successful shows.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Yeah, slightly successful.
- 16:41Speaker 6: Both their paychecks cash.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Don't worry.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Are you kidding me? Joey was the most honest person.
- 16:46Speaker 2: He was an idiot, but he could never lie. That
- 16:48Speaker 2: was his greatness.
- 16:50Speaker 1: He lied about hosting a party on the roof and
- 16:52Speaker 1: didn't invite the other friends.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 16:55Speaker 8: Or like when somebody was having a baby, is it
- 16:57Speaker 8: a boy or a girl so I know if I'm
- 16:59Speaker 8: an aunt or an uncle?
- 17:00Speaker 2: How did you get this far? This one says, my
- 17:04Speaker 2: wife and I rewatched Friends, and once Chandler gets with Monica, 90%
- 17:09Speaker 2: of his storylines are terrible and pointless.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Kind of. I mean, even I can objectively look at
- 17:14Speaker 1: it and think some of those plot points were dumb.
- 17:16Speaker 1: When Joey fell in love with Rachel, so dumb.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Yeah, that was a little much. I finally agree with
- 17:22Speaker 2: dumbass Tyler on something. Friends is ass.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Can never get into it. Well, you know what? We
- 17:29Speaker 1: won't force you to watch it. Speaking of friends.
- 17:31Speaker 5: I wanted Ross to just jump off that balcony. Just
- 17:33Speaker 5: go away.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Speaking of friends, there's a three-part documentary on Matthew Perry.
- 17:38Speaker 2: It's going to be on Netflix October 27th, Greg.
- 17:40Speaker 3: What happens?
- 17:41Speaker 1: It's called The One About Matthew Perry. How does it end?
- 17:44Speaker 2: She's like, my squirrel died. And so I'm hugging her.
- 17:48Speaker 9: Then I notice she's clutching a trash bag that has
- 17:53Speaker 9: a squirrel in it.
- 17:54Speaker 7: Oh!
- 17:59Speaker 2: Gina, can you believe how tortured Our friend Greg is.
- 18:03Speaker 8: It's truly insane. I thought he was kidding most of
- 18:08Speaker 8: the time. But I guess he's not.
- 18:10Speaker 1: To make myself on purpose look like a moron?
- 18:12Speaker 6: Yeah, or just for drama. You know, I love drama.
- 18:15Speaker 6: But this is really concerning.
- 18:17Speaker 2: All right, tell everybody else the story that you.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Just told us. Oh, about my morning routine.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Here's another. This is another Greg Gorey fun fact.
- 18:25Speaker 1: The weird thing is I was thinking this morning about Woody's.
- 18:28Speaker 1: voice in my head saying wow greg you're so tortured
- 18:31Speaker 1: yeah and the reason i thought that is so in
- 18:34Speaker 1: my bathroom i call it a vanity do you guys
- 18:37Speaker 1: call it a vanity countertop yeah and then underneath the
- 18:41Speaker 1: vanity is a cupboard and that's where i keep deodorant
- 18:43Speaker 1: and hair stuff and whatnot and every single morning when
- 18:48Speaker 1: i go to put on my deodorant i open the
- 18:50Speaker 1: vanity and give a preemptive oh Because I'm afraid there's
- 18:53Speaker 1: going to be a spider in it.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Just in case there is a spider in there.
- 18:57Speaker 3: He's pretty scared.
- 18:58Speaker 1: To open his own drawer.
- 19:02Speaker 3: Why would there be a spider in it?
- 19:03Speaker 1: Because one time I opened it and there was a
- 19:06Speaker 1: huge spider sitting right next to my deodorant. Granted, that
- 19:09Speaker 1: was a few years ago, but... It still, I think.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Was it even in the same house?
- 19:14Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 19:14Speaker 9: Okay.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Yeah, same house.
- 19:15Speaker 6: In that very drawer.
- 19:16Speaker 1: In that very cabinet. So now I open it.
- 19:19Speaker 6: Every morning he's afraid there's going to be a spider.
- 19:22Speaker 2: I think you need a whole new vanity.
- 19:24Speaker 3: Just throw the whole thing out.
- 19:25Speaker 6: I think you need a whole new house.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Yeah. I got to live like on a hundred floor
- 19:28Speaker 1: building with a barrier.
- 19:31Speaker 3: No, dude.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Imagine living your life that way.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:34Speaker 3: It's a lot.
- 19:36Speaker 1: It is a lot.
- 19:37Speaker 6: Are you mostly scared all the time? Do you feel
- 19:39Speaker 6: that way?
- 19:40Speaker 2: For different reasons, yeah.
- 19:41Speaker 1: For different reasons, yeah. It's kind of translated into everyday life.
- 19:44Speaker 1: We're driving now. All I think about is, wow, we
- 19:48Speaker 1: really have to trust everybody. We're all... all going like 65,
- 19:51Speaker 1: 70 miles an hour. This is Greg's reality.
- 19:55Speaker 6: Maybe on a side street.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Dude, this woman on social media, she posted this video.
- 20:01Speaker 2: She was having some stomach pain and she went to.
- 20:06Speaker 1: The doctor.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Anyway, then she talks more about it in this video.
- 20:09Speaker 4: And I just recently went to the doctor and they
- 20:11Speaker 4: couldn't figure out what was wrong with my GI tract.
- 20:13Speaker 4: They thought I had Crohn's disease, a gluten allergy, high,
- 20:15Speaker 4: low blood pressure, you name it. They also did allergy tests,
- 20:18Speaker 4: but do you know what they didn't test for? The
- 20:20Speaker 4: ingredient coccineal, which is literally ground up bugs. And it's
- 20:24Speaker 4: not only in your coffee, it's also in a lot
- 20:26Speaker 4: of processed food. So then I had to go and
- 20:28Speaker 4: get a special test for that and come to find
- 20:29Speaker 4: out that's exactly what I've been allergic to this entire time.
- 20:32Speaker 4: There's a 100% chance that if you're drinking ground-up coffee,
- 20:36Speaker 4: you're drinking ground-up cockroaches, too.
- 20:38Speaker 2: No way.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Cochineal. What? Ground-up.
- 20:43Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 20:43Speaker 3: A 100% chance? Well, they say that everything about peanut butter,
- 20:46Speaker 3: all those tomatoes.
- 20:47Speaker 6: Well, that there's a certain amount of bugs that are
- 20:48Speaker 6: allowed in manufacturing.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Literally.
- 20:51Speaker 2: It's in there, Greg. Wait, what's it called? It's called cochineal.
- 20:57Speaker 1: What are there?
- 20:58Speaker 2: Yeah, so ground-up roaches in your coffee.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Oh, that's the first thing that popped up. Are there cockroaches?
- 21:04Speaker 1: And it said, oh, my God.
- 21:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Yes, pre-ground-up. You drink a lot. You drink a lot
- 21:09Speaker 1: of coffee. There you go. Contain microscopic traces of ground-up cockroaches.
- 21:13Speaker 8: It's like hot dogs like anything else. They're not going
- 21:15Speaker 8: to sweep for every, you know, antenna and leg.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Each food item you buy can allow, like, up to
- 21:22Speaker 1: X percent of bug parts.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Here's how you get around that, Greg. You buy the
- 21:27Speaker 2: coffee beans and you grind them yourself.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Oh, okay. I can do that.
- 21:31Speaker 2: I mean, I'm assuming that's fresher. No cockroaches. Right. At
- 21:35Speaker 2: least you'd be able to see it if there was.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Right.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Like, yeah, because you can just, I mean, how.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Many beans do you need to grind up? Not a
- 21:41Speaker 1: whole lot.
- 21:41Speaker 7: Right.
- 21:42Speaker 1: I wish they made those grinders bigger, though. They're so tiny.
- 21:44Speaker 2: I'm sure you can get one.
- 21:46Speaker 1: A big grinder?
- 21:46Speaker 2: I always thought it was cool. Like, you would go
- 21:48Speaker 2: to the grocery store, and they would have, like, that machine,
- 21:51Speaker 2: that big red grinding machine.
- 21:52Speaker 3: That is pretty cool.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Because I loved just hanging out by there and just
- 21:55Speaker 2: smelling it. Like, my mom would be shopping, and I
- 21:57Speaker 2: would just hang out by the coffee thing. And then also,
- 21:59Speaker 2: they had where you can grind, like, fresh coffee. Peanut butter?
- 22:02Speaker 1: Oh, I love that one. That was cool. I haven't
- 22:04Speaker 1: seen that in.
- 22:05Speaker 2: A long time. That's a whole foods type thing. I
- 22:07Speaker 2: haven't seen that in a long time.
- 22:08Speaker 8: Apparently it takes about 40 beans to make a cup
- 22:11Speaker 8: of coffee.
- 22:12Speaker 7: Oh, easy.
- 22:12Speaker 2: You can just count out 40 beans and make sure
- 22:15Speaker 2: there's no cockroaches in there.
- 22:17Speaker 1: And then I'll freak that, did I miscount? Yeah.
- 22:20Speaker 2: This one just came in on the text. It says, Greg,
- 22:22Speaker 2: I was doing my morning poo and while I'm sitting there,
- 22:24Speaker 2: a spider crawls past my feet.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Oh, God. What happens? Then you just stomp on it.
- 22:29Speaker 1: With your bare foot? Ooh, that's, no, not your barefoot.
- 22:33Speaker 1: The worst poop ever was when I had that centipede
- 22:36Speaker 1: walk by my face.
- 22:37Speaker 2: A centipede?
- 22:38Speaker 6: Are you in a video game? Where do you see centipedes?
- 22:42Speaker 2: Another one I thought about, Greg, this doctor in Virginia,
- 22:44Speaker 2: it's a new nightmare for Greg. She woke up, she
- 22:47Speaker 2: had a bat trying to crawl into her mouth.
- 22:51Speaker 1: What?
- 22:53Speaker 2: Dr. Krista Edelman. What? And here she is explaining what happened.
- 22:57Speaker 9: So this morning I was asleep and I had a
- 23:00Speaker 9: dream that there was a little mouse trying to get
- 23:04Speaker 9: into my mouth. And so I'm half asleep. I reach
- 23:07Speaker 9: up to my mouth. Again, still thinking this is a dream.
- 23:10Speaker 9: And then I touch something that is kind of slimy
- 23:13Speaker 9: and a little hairy and cool. And I immediately somehow
- 23:16Speaker 9: knew it was a bat. This bat was legitimately trying
- 23:20Speaker 9: to burrow between my lips into my mouth.
- 23:22Speaker 6: It was trying to get past my teeth.
- 23:24Speaker 2: I have no idea.
- 23:25Speaker 3: This is not normal.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Never heard of anything like this.
- 23:27Speaker 9: Never seen bats in my house. I grabbed this bat
- 23:30Speaker 9: and threw it across the room and I screamed.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Holy crap. What do you do in that case?
- 23:36Speaker 3: You immediately have to go to the hospital and make
- 23:37Speaker 3: sure you didn't catch anything.
- 23:39Speaker 6: It spat rabies into your mouth.
- 23:41Speaker 1: What do you do? Damn. Oh, dude.
- 23:45Speaker 2: So did you hear the story in North Carolina? They're
- 23:47Speaker 2: trying to look for people who may have gotten a
- 23:50Speaker 2: little too friendly with some baby goats. It was like
- 23:52Speaker 2: a traveling petting zoo. And at least four of these
- 23:55Speaker 2: goats tested positive for rabies. They've been at 10 different
- 23:59Speaker 2: events over the last month, including community events and two
- 24:01Speaker 2: assisted living facilities. The petting zoo says the goats were
- 24:05Speaker 2: too young to be vaccinated. And apparently a wild skunk
- 24:10Speaker 2: had gotten into their pen without anybody realizing they had
- 24:12Speaker 2: been bitten. So health officials are telling anyone who touched
- 24:16Speaker 2: these goats, these petting zoos, to call their local health
- 24:19Speaker 2: department immediately.
- 24:20Speaker 6: So all children's birthday parties.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Yeah, these 10 different, you know, the senior living places, like, whatever,
- 24:27Speaker 2: they're going to be dead soon anyway.
- 24:28Speaker 9: Oh, my God.
- 24:29Speaker 1: So, you know, whatever, right, Craig? Yeah, who cares?
- 24:31Speaker 8: I guess I never thought about skunks having rabies.
- 24:33Speaker 5: I know.
- 24:34Speaker 1: It's always, what, raccoons?
- 24:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Greg, a new species of fly has been granted approval.
- 24:40Speaker 2: I didn't know they had to get approval.
- 24:41Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Or it can't exist.
- 24:43Speaker 2: For the USDA for human wound cleaning.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Oh, no thank you.
- 24:47Speaker 2: So it's these larvae. Oh, yeah, these are disgusting. Of
- 24:50Speaker 2: the Australian sheep bug. Blowfly. I was going to say Botfly.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Botfly videos are great.
- 24:57Speaker 1: I love those. Oh, you are insane.
- 25:00Speaker 2: I don't know why I love those so much. Anyway,
- 25:02Speaker 2: they're used in maggot wound therapy. And so now this
- 25:06Speaker 2: is the second fly that's been cleared by the FDA
- 25:09Speaker 2: to clean dead skin from chronic wounds.
- 25:12Speaker 7: I would.
- 25:13Speaker 8: I would happily lose my arm over letting maggots clean
- 25:17Speaker 8: it out.
- 25:17Speaker 1: If it was a life-saving procedure. You'd rather lose an arm.
- 25:21Speaker 6: I don't think I can have maggots eating through my flesh.
- 25:24Speaker 7: What?
- 25:24Speaker 6: I don't think I could handle it.
- 25:26Speaker 2: You'd have to sedate me. It's to fix the wound. Understood.
- 25:30Speaker 2: To keep the arm.
- 25:31Speaker 6: I get it.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Can you ask for sedation? I wonder if they would
- 25:34Speaker 1: allow that.
- 25:35Speaker 6: I don't want, I mean, you have to wake up.
- 25:37Speaker 3: I'm sure you can.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Just say, look, you can do it.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Or what if they put like a little like kind
- 25:40Speaker 2: of plastic bubble dome over the wound and you get
- 25:43Speaker 2: to watch it throughout the day. You know how people
- 25:46Speaker 2: have those things in the back of their arm that
- 25:47Speaker 2: measures their, you know, their blood sugar.
- 25:49Speaker 4: Oh yeah.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Like, and they just take their phone, scan it or whatever.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Underneath this maggot.
- 25:54Speaker 2: It's kind of like that where it's attached to your skin.
- 25:56Speaker 2: You can just like look at it almost like a
- 25:58Speaker 2: little like ant farm, but you get to watch the
- 26:00Speaker 2: maggots cleaning your wound.
- 26:02Speaker 6: You'd be fine with that.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Yeah. I'm sure, Drake.
- 26:04Speaker 2: I think I would.
- 26:05Speaker 3: You could find a doctor that'll knock you out.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess.
- 26:08Speaker 2: I would be okay with that more so than losing
- 26:10Speaker 2: an arm. I don't know.
- 26:12Speaker 8: I get that it's trying to help me. I get
- 26:14Speaker 8: that it's trying to save my arm. But maggots on
- 26:17Speaker 8: flesh is going to be a pass for me.
- 26:19Speaker 1: 877-44-WOODY.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Send us a text over to 22987. More Woody Shows
- 26:21Speaker 2: next time. Don't you dare leave me here alone. The
- 26:23Speaker 2: Woody Show. We'll be right back after these messages.
