- 0:02SPEAKER_01: You got a lot of people on your side with the coffee shops not being open uh early enough.
- 0:06SPEAKER_01: Now, I did get confirmation.
- 0:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Duncan's open at 5 a.m.
- 0:10SPEAKER_01: uh all through the week, you know, the seven days.
- 0:12SPEAKER_01: But you were looking for something other than the corporate uh version.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: Right, right, right.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: And I I wanted to go at like 6 a.m.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: when I go for my little c or my grocery run, which I know is ridiculously early, but I just would love to have a good cup of coffee.
- 0:27SPEAKER_01: Most people are on your side with this.
- 0:29SPEAKER_01: I don't think it's as ridiculous as you're saying that they're opening at 9 a.m.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: on a Saturday if you're, I don't know, at one of the privately owned uh places.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: 9655 says healthcare workers would be in line still.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: They're not open early enough.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Um then we have this one morning and yes.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: Morning and yes.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: Sport parents drink coffee in the evening hours.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: LOL 5 to 6 p.m.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: games.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: I want a coffee to get me through, especially with a long drive home.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: Good point.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because you were talking about going in the evening, which I don't do.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: No, I've literally driven by very rarely I should do.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: For me, it really would have been more like I'm just gonna get some donuts for Saturday morning.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: But although Zach and I did stop at Homestead the other day, it was probably like five or six o'clock, and it was packed in there.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: I don't know what Homestead is.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: Um Homestead, I think it's like Homestead Baking Co.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: It's on Market Street.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: And they do baked goods, coffees, you know, stuff like that.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: It's the same people that own Ella's own homestead baking.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: Gotcha.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: There's just one on bridge, one on market.
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: I'm with it.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: But yeah, it was jam-packed in there.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: I guess we're kind of wrong on that.
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: Um yes and no.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: I I still think you're right.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: If you're gonna be if you're privately owned in a coffee shop, uh then that unfortunately, you know what?
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: We chose to do mornings.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: We're here at 6 a.m.
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: every morning.
- 1:49SPEAKER_01: Not Saturday and Sunday, but that's different.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: But if you See, you're saying what the I'm sure the coffee owners are saying.
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: Well, but the difference is you're servicing people uh specifically on weekends too that, you know, are looking for it at that time, not 9 a.m.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: I at least uh there's a sector of people uh us early birds want it super early.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: Maybe you don't need the full staff there, but you know, have one lonely staff.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: Unfortunately that's you because you're the owner.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: So have fun.
