- 0:16Speaker 3: You've been follistas on a lot of public service stuff.
- 0:18Speaker 4: Rich Valdez calumnist now with the Washington Times.
- 0:20Speaker 1: This is America, Richiev. You're on the air with a
- 0:23Speaker 1: Nation with America with your host, Rich Valdez.
- 0:29Speaker 4: What's up America. I am Rich Valdes Valdest with an
- 0:32Speaker 4: US at Rich Valdes on all of the social media.
- 0:36Speaker 4: You're liberty loving Latino amigo. Here we are seventeen miles
- 0:40Speaker 4: away from Madison Square Garden, New York City, happy and
- 0:43Speaker 4: blessed to be with you this Thursday night edition of
- 0:46Speaker 4: the program and trying to guide you through the madness
- 0:49Speaker 4: broadcasting of course, from the land where liberty thrives and
- 0:53Speaker 4: the liberals keep fumbling the ball. And I want to
- 0:57Speaker 4: welcome you back to another edition of the program, of course.
- 0:59Speaker 4: Rich Feldesk dot com Rich Faldesk with an S. If
- 1:03Speaker 4: you need to catch up on anything some of the
- 1:05Speaker 4: previous shows we've done, just go to the website, click
- 1:09Speaker 4: the play button and you're in like Flynn, and I'm
- 1:13Speaker 4: trying to slice through some of the spin and kind of,
- 1:15Speaker 4: you know, dish out some of the truth, tossing in
- 1:18Speaker 4: a little bit of selfrie, throw in a couple of
- 1:19Speaker 4: laughs to make sure that even the Grinch will crack
- 1:22Speaker 4: a smile this Christmas season. But me, he goes. It
- 1:26Speaker 4: is Thursday, December fourth, twenty twenty five, and today's headlines
- 1:29Speaker 4: are like a holiday fruitcake like I find it too,
- 1:33Speaker 4: if you will, packed with nuts and a little bit
- 1:37Speaker 4: of fruity this and somehow still delightful. So grab your
- 1:41Speaker 4: eggnog or if you're like me, some coquito or your
- 1:44Speaker 4: energy drink. You know, no shame, and let's roll. First off,
- 1:47Speaker 4: President Trump, he's the comeback king. He's in the White House.
- 1:51Speaker 4: He's shrugging off the left so called health scare like
- 1:55Speaker 4: a boss. The media is hyperventilating because he closed his
- 1:59Speaker 4: eyes in a meat right. Rubio was talking and he
- 2:02Speaker 4: was kind of resting his eyes. To me, it looked
- 2:04Speaker 4: like he was still nodding his head like yeah, but hey, listen,
- 2:07Speaker 4: I think I've fallen asleep on the air. You think
- 2:09Speaker 4: he's not gonna fall asleep in a cabinet meeting. Come on, anyway, listen,
- 2:15Speaker 4: this is not a crisis, right. That's called meditating on
- 2:18Speaker 4: how to drain the swamp a little bit deeper. That's
- 2:21Speaker 4: what he was doing. You know, I've dozed off listening
- 2:23Speaker 4: to Kamala's word salads. Trump's probably just recharging for round two,
- 2:28Speaker 4: you know how he rolls. Maybe he's cutting back on
- 2:30Speaker 4: the diet coke. But speaking of Holiday's spirit that we're
- 2:34Speaker 4: talking about, the coquita and the fruitcakes and whatnot. He
- 2:39Speaker 4: and the ever elegant First Lady Milania Trump lit up
- 2:43Speaker 4: the White House Christmas Tree last night, turning DC into
- 2:46Speaker 4: a winter wonderland. And listen, good for good for them,
- 2:50Speaker 4: you know, and all of the scrooges that you know,
- 2:54Speaker 4: want to erase Merry Christmas from everything. Happy to see
- 2:58Speaker 4: that they're doing that. And we're gonna get you clip
- 3:00Speaker 4: of exactly you know what they were talking about in
- 3:02Speaker 4: a moment. On the military front, we've had ABC News
- 3:07Speaker 4: they had to admit finally that the Pentagon was spot
- 3:11Speaker 4: on with that second drug boat strike. Vindication Maybe I
- 3:16Speaker 4: think so. Trump's calling for the video release, and I'm
- 3:19Speaker 4: glad they released the video. Why not? Right in a
- 3:22Speaker 4: world where you know, Russia's flexing their nukes after years
- 3:25Speaker 4: of Dayton. South Korea's president is swearing off nukes while
- 3:30Speaker 4: shopping for submarines. We need transparency, like we need air
- 3:34Speaker 4: around here. And if that footage drops, and it has
- 3:38Speaker 4: and it will for everyone to see, it's gonna be
- 3:42Speaker 4: bigger than a Marvel blockbuster movie. In my opinion. Why
- 3:46Speaker 4: because real heroes don't need capes, No capes required. So
- 3:52Speaker 4: eat your heart out, Hollywood. You're gonna see exactly how
- 3:54Speaker 4: it trum beat THEO roles when you see this video,
- 3:57Speaker 4: and I think it's clear that these guys were trying
- 4:00Speaker 4: to salvage not only their lives after getting hit, but
- 4:03Speaker 4: they're trying to salvage the drugs. Call for reinforcements. This
- 4:06Speaker 4: is what had to be done. And shifting to the
- 4:11Speaker 4: heartland of America Minnesota, Minnesota buzzing as a Somali immigrant
- 4:18Speaker 4: hotspot lately, this is the ultimate melting pot, right America.
- 4:25Speaker 4: That's what we do here. But let's keep it simmering,
- 4:28Speaker 4: right this melting pot. Assimilation is a must, right assimilation
- 4:32Speaker 4: or bust, I mean, he goes otherwise we end up
- 4:35Speaker 4: with more drama than a reality show and a solemn
- 4:38Speaker 4: shout out to Charles sha He's the d Day medic
- 4:41Speaker 4: who heroically saved several people, many souls at just nineteen
- 4:46Speaker 4: years old. He just passed away at one hundred and one.
- 4:49Speaker 4: God bless him, and he's a legend. Sir, I thank
- 4:54Speaker 4: you for your bravery. It's your bravery that built this nation,
- 4:58Speaker 4: and I pray that we can all honor your legacy
- 5:01Speaker 4: by not messing up America. Also on the weather front,
- 5:05Speaker 4: this is you know, this Arctic blast we're talking about,
- 5:10Speaker 4: This is expecting to be very very cold right looking
- 5:14Speaker 4: at tomorrow Friday is supposed to be twenty twenty five
- 5:17Speaker 4: degrees at least in the New York area. That's crazy. Now.
- 5:22Speaker 4: I don't know if that's going to force the Senate
- 5:24Speaker 4: and Congress people into weekend over time. You know, Senators,
- 5:27Speaker 4: I don't think they like working a little bit extra,
- 5:28Speaker 4: But we'll see how it goes. Of course, that's going
- 5:31Speaker 4: to trigger some flight cancelations, so I'll keep your posting
- 5:33Speaker 4: on those if I see those. And what I can
- 5:36Speaker 4: say is a pro tip from somebody's done these things
- 5:38Speaker 4: a few times. You got to turn these delays into
- 5:41Speaker 4: dance parties. Right, you bring your headphones, make sure you
- 5:46Speaker 4: have sneakers on. You gotta be comfy. Anyway, if I
- 5:48Speaker 4: have time a little bit later, going to get to
- 5:50Speaker 4: NASA's mission to Mars. Is it ambitious? I think so.
- 5:54Speaker 4: But maybe we could send some of the deep State
- 5:57Speaker 4: belt Way blowhards there first and call it upper fresh Start. Right,
- 6:01Speaker 4: A couple of politicians over on Mars doesn't sound too
- 6:04Speaker 4: bad to me. Now, I want to get an update
- 6:06Speaker 4: to you on Kilmar Abrego Garcia. You know, he's everybody's
- 6:10Speaker 4: favorite legal alien. And this stuff reads like a spine novel,
- 6:14Speaker 4: like the subplot of a crazy spy thriller. And there's
- 6:19Speaker 4: some US visa tweeks that we're gonna learn about smart
- 6:22Speaker 4: borders that hopefully we'll keep the good times rolling and
- 6:26Speaker 4: America and Mi Amigos amidst all the chills, thrills and
- 6:31Speaker 4: tree lighting. We are unbreakable as a people. We need
- 6:36Speaker 4: to be We have to be innovative, We have to
- 6:39Speaker 4: be tough, and I'm gonna say hilariously resilient. Right, you
- 6:43Speaker 4: got to be that too. Anyway, Stay sharp, stay smiling,
- 6:46Speaker 4: and stay proud. We've got a great show for you
- 6:48Speaker 4: tonight at Richveldesk with an SS. If you want to
- 6:50Speaker 4: follow on any of the social media, check out the
- 6:52Speaker 4: website Richvealdesk dot com. There is more to come straight ahead,
- 6:56Speaker 4: don't go anywhere. I'm Rich Faldesk.
- 6:58Speaker 1: This is America. This is America, all of.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Them with programs like America at Night with Rich Valdez
- 7:21Speaker 4: and Donald Trump as a guest. Who's gonna watch Late
- 7:23Speaker 4: nine TV?
- 7:23Speaker 5: Come on?
- 7:24Speaker 6: Who would want to? I want to listen to you
- 7:25Speaker 6: Rich all the time.
- 7:27Speaker 4: All right? I mean is welcome back? It is Rich Valdez,
- 7:30Speaker 4: and I want you to hear a little bit of
- 7:31Speaker 4: what eltrom Pto den Aldus Magnus, the forty fifth and
- 7:34Speaker 4: forty seventh President, was saying, El Presidente at the tree
- 7:39Speaker 4: lighting ceremony Thursday. Check this out only season.
- 7:42Speaker 7: Christians everywhere rejoice at the miracle Bethlehem more than two
- 7:48Speaker 7: thousand years ago, when the Son of God, our Lord
- 7:51Speaker 7: and Savior, Jesus Christ, came down from heaven to be
- 7:55Speaker 7: with us.
- 7:56Speaker 6: You're right, full of grace and truth. He brought the
- 8:01Speaker 6: gift of God's love into the world and the promise
- 8:04Speaker 6: of salvation for every person and every nation.
- 8:08Speaker 8: And we just.
- 8:09Speaker 6: Settled another war today. You saw that with Rwanda and
- 8:13Speaker 6: the Congo. It's been going on for.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Thirty four years.
- 8:16Speaker 6: Millions of people killed, could be twenty million, they don't.
- 8:20Speaker 4: Know what the number is.
- 8:20Speaker 7: And we just settled it today.
- 8:22Speaker 6: That was a big one. We're very happy to announce
- 8:24Speaker 6: it on this important day tonight, This beautiful evergreen tree
- 8:29Speaker 6: low's bright on the dark and cold winter night and
- 8:32Speaker 6: reminds us of the words of Gospel of John. In
- 8:36Speaker 6: him was life and that life was the light of
- 8:40Speaker 6: all mankind. Beautiful words. With the birth of Jesus, human
- 8:45Speaker 6: history turned from night.
- 8:46Speaker 4: Today.
- 8:48Speaker 6: His word and his example call us to love one another,
- 8:51Speaker 6: to serve one another, and to honor the sacred truth
- 8:55Speaker 6: that every child, especially made in the image of God.
- 9:00Speaker 9: You're in this whole.
- 9:01Speaker 4: Amen to that. That is President Trump at the National
- 9:03Speaker 4: Christmas Tree Lighting, reflecting on the miracle of Christ's birth
- 9:08Speaker 4: and announcing that the United States helped broker a peace
- 9:11Speaker 4: agreement between Rwanda and the Democrat Republic of the Congo
- 9:17Speaker 4: that ending a conflict that he noted, raged on for
- 9:20Speaker 4: more than thirty years, taking millions of lives. Kudos to
- 9:24Speaker 4: El Trumpito and all this magnus a presidente for pulling
- 9:29Speaker 4: this thing together, because this is a big deal and
- 9:32Speaker 4: I think an important deal. Check this out.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Good after mean, everybody the Democratic Republic of Congo to
- 9:38Speaker 3: sign the historic peace and economic agreement that he broke.
- 9:42Speaker 10: He the agreement being signed includes provisions for the neutralization
- 10:03Speaker 10: of the FDLR and this engagement of forces slash lifting.
- 10:08Speaker 11: Of We're getting for the United States a lot of
- 10:18Speaker 11: the mineral rights from the Congo as part of it.
- 10:20Speaker 11: They're so honored to be here.
- 10:22Speaker 4: So are these peace agreements in fact sabotage? Are we
- 10:26Speaker 4: headed in the right direction? Well, it seems like while
- 10:28Speaker 4: the peace deal was signed, one of those things being
- 10:31Speaker 4: noted was again how President Trump said, they spent a
- 10:35Speaker 4: lot of time killing each other and now they're going
- 10:37Speaker 4: to spend a lot of time hugging, holding hands and
- 10:40Speaker 4: taking advantage of the US economically like every other country does.
- 10:44Speaker 4: This comes on the heels of the United States Institute
- 10:48Speaker 4: of Peace being rebranded the Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace,
- 10:53Speaker 4: and rumor has it that on Friday, President Trump might
- 10:56Speaker 4: be receiving a global Peace award, This peace prize coming
- 11:02Speaker 4: from none other than the folks in soccer World FIFA.
- 11:07Speaker 4: Apparently they're gonna have an inaugural peace prize that they issue,
- 11:13Speaker 4: and President Trump's name is at the top of that list.
- 11:16Speaker 4: So we'll keep you posted on that stuff. But I
- 11:19Speaker 4: think this is very promising the stuff that we're seeing
- 11:21Speaker 4: here with Congo. Again, both the leaders of both countries
- 11:26Speaker 4: and their secretaries of State and foreign ministers all went
- 11:30Speaker 4: to the Thursday event with President Trump at the Donald J.
- 11:34Speaker 4: Trump Institute of Peace, which got its new name just
- 11:37Speaker 4: on Wednesday. And again you had leaders from Angola, Burundi, Kenya, Togo,
- 11:44Speaker 4: and Uganda all president at this big event. The name
- 11:49Speaker 4: that I think they're going with for this is the
- 11:52Speaker 4: Washington Accords, at least President Trump said, everybody sort of
- 11:56Speaker 4: likes that name formalizes the terms agreed to back in June,
- 11:58Speaker 4: including a permanency fire, the disarmament of non state forces,
- 12:03Speaker 4: provisions for refugees to return to their homes, and justice
- 12:07Speaker 4: and accountability for those who've committed illegal atrocity, said the President. Now,
- 12:12Speaker 4: a reporter from Angola ask President Trump when Rwanda's troops
- 12:17Speaker 4: would withdraw from the Congo and when they would in
- 12:20Speaker 4: fact see real peace quote unquote, you know alleging that
- 12:24Speaker 4: there is not real peace just yet. Trump responding, I
- 12:27Speaker 4: think you're going to see very quickly. I think you're
- 12:30Speaker 4: going to see things happen very quickly. These two gentlemen
- 12:33Speaker 4: and leaders. They're great leaders, and they're going to prove
- 12:36Speaker 4: that in the upcoming months and years. I think you're
- 12:39Speaker 4: going to see some very immediate results. Now, the fighting
- 12:44Speaker 4: in both of these countries has been reported all week
- 12:47Speaker 4: and on Thursday between Congo's government and rebels that are
- 12:51Speaker 4: thought to be backed by Rwanda. So again, things are
- 12:55Speaker 4: still continuing, but that's to be expected. I think, you know,
- 12:57Speaker 4: you just signed a peace deal. This stuff has to
- 12:59Speaker 4: try go down to the ground. You've got skirmishes, You've
- 13:02Speaker 4: got fires that you're putting out, there's embers that are
- 13:04Speaker 4: still blazing. I get it. I think overall here, these
- 13:08Speaker 4: guys are going to do everything they can to ensure peace.
- 13:11Speaker 4: Why because there's billions and billions of dollars of investment,
- 13:14Speaker 4: global investment, and who doesn't want to make a deal,
- 13:18Speaker 4: Who doesn't want to make some money. Everybody and their
- 13:21Speaker 4: mother wants the ability to trade and become partners with
- 13:24Speaker 4: the United States. That's how China's become a superpower. So
- 13:29Speaker 4: it makes sense for President Trump to kind of use
- 13:32Speaker 4: this as a carrot and stick approach to getting these
- 13:35Speaker 4: people to do his will and say, hey, look here,
- 13:38Speaker 4: let's make a deal. I need you to do this
- 13:40Speaker 4: and then return I'll give you this. This is some
- 13:43Speaker 4: of the best quid pro quote we've seen in a
- 13:45Speaker 4: long time. This is what negotiations are all about. This
- 13:47Speaker 4: is what diplomacy is all about. And I think ultimately,
- 13:50Speaker 4: economic liberty is that which sets us apart in the
- 13:54Speaker 4: United States from everywhere else, and that is what allows
- 13:57Speaker 4: people to truly make it in life. You don't have
- 14:00Speaker 4: to be subject to the life that the life that
- 14:05Speaker 4: you're dealt right the hand that you're dealt in life,
- 14:07Speaker 4: you don't have to. If you have the ability to
- 14:10Speaker 4: go and earn money, you can make a change for
- 14:12Speaker 4: yourself and to me, that's the bottom line. So keep
- 14:15Speaker 4: it locked right here. We're going to continue talking about
- 14:17Speaker 4: the drama that's going on. President Trump getting blasted a
- 14:21Speaker 4: little bit for resting his eyes at a cabinet meeting.
- 14:24Speaker 4: We'll talk about that, plus so much more. There's lots
- 14:26Speaker 4: of clips that I want to play for you. Give
- 14:28Speaker 4: you some reaction to those things, and yeah, keep that
- 14:32Speaker 4: lock right here. I'm Richild does this is America. We
- 14:51Speaker 4: live in a remarkable time in human history right now,
- 14:54Speaker 4: one in which our technology has dramatically improved our living standards.
- 15:00Speaker 4: That's because the people that design and build the modern
- 15:03Speaker 4: wonders that make our lives better are bound by physical reality,
- 15:07Speaker 4: a world in which things either work or they don't work. Unfortunately,
- 15:11Speaker 4: those who oversee our political and educational institutions aren't limited
- 15:15Speaker 4: by these same constraints. Instead, they often implement their agendas
- 15:19Speaker 4: by exploiting people's ignorance on issues like taxes and immigration.
- 15:24Speaker 4: So where do we go to get the facts? Well,
- 15:25Speaker 4: you listen to this as America, But if you're online,

- 15:43Speaker 4: time of dire need for truth in America. Our national
- 15:47Speaker 4: dialogue is riddled with fake news and fake facts, and
- 15:51Speaker 4: our country desperately needs a reliable starting point for informed
- 15:54Speaker 4: debate over our nation's future. Our friends at Just Facts

- 16:15Speaker 1: This is America. He's got the best head of hair
- 16:18Speaker 1: and podcasting This is America with Rich Valdeniz.
- 16:38Speaker 12: Today's arrest happened because the Trump administration has made this
- 16:43Speaker 12: case of priority. The total lack of movement on this
- 16:49Speaker 12: case in our nation's capital undermined the public trust of
- 16:54Speaker 12: our enforcement agencies. This cold case languished for four years
- 17:02Speaker 12: until Director Patel and Deputy Director Bongino came to the FBI.
- 17:09Speaker 12: The FBI, along with US Attorney Piro and all of
- 17:13Speaker 12: our prosecutors, have worked tirelessly for months sifting through evidence
- 17:20Speaker 12: that had been sitting at the FBI with the Biden
- 17:24Speaker 12: administration for four long years. Let me be clear, there
- 17:29Speaker 12: was no new tip, there was no new witness, just good,
- 17:34Speaker 12: diligent police work and prosecutorial work. Working as a team
- 17:40Speaker 12: along with atf Capitol Police, Metropolitan Police Department, and of course,
- 17:46Speaker 12: the FBI, we are working every day to restore the
- 17:51Speaker 12: public's trust. We hope that today is a significant step
- 17:56Speaker 12: towards that progress. We'll share more in for nation when
- 18:01Speaker 12: when we can and when it unfolds.
- 18:04Speaker 4: That is Attorney General Pam Bondi with the breaking news.
- 18:07Speaker 4: Hold on to your hats, amigos. This breaking news just
- 18:11Speaker 4: exploded a little while ago on the scene like fireworks
- 18:14Speaker 4: the finale on the fourth of July, amigos, as rich Valdez,
- 18:18Speaker 4: welcome back, and again we're celebrating justice being served with
- 18:22Speaker 4: a side of sweet irony. On this Thursday, December fourth,
- 18:25Speaker 4: twenty twenty five, the FBI arrested Brian Cole Junior. He
- 18:30Speaker 4: is alleged to be the elusive pipe bomb suspect from
- 18:34Speaker 4: the eve of January sixth, twenty twenty one. Yep, that's
- 18:38Speaker 4: the guy who allegedly stashed the explosives near the RNC
- 18:41Speaker 4: and the DNC headquarters. Those two pipe bombs at one
- 18:44Speaker 4: at each headquarters. And these are actual bombs that worked,
- 18:47Speaker 4: viable bombs that could have turned the capital chaos that
- 18:51Speaker 4: was going on with January sixth and all that into
- 18:54Speaker 4: seriously like a blockbuster disaster. But hey, after nearly five
- 18:59Speaker 4: years of bye and the thumb twiddling that went on
- 19:02Speaker 4: with the FBI, there Trump's dream team swoops in and
- 19:06Speaker 4: cracks the case wide open. Talk about a plot twist
- 19:08Speaker 4: right now. I've got some audio from each and every
- 19:11Speaker 4: person that she mentioned here. She mentioned United States Attorney Piro,
- 19:15Speaker 4: a former judge, Janine. We've got a clip from her.
- 19:18Speaker 4: I got a clip from Dan Bongino as well, and
- 19:22Speaker 4: I want to go ahead and play one of those.
- 19:24Speaker 4: Let's queue that up. Let's get a little bit of
- 19:26Speaker 4: a Jeanine Piro here. I'll jump in eventually. It's a
- 19:29Speaker 4: little bit of a longer clip, but check this out.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Attorney General, and you have been
- 19:36Speaker 2: listening to a lot of thank yous and a lot
- 19:38Speaker 2: of gratitude. The reason that we're thanking each other to
- 19:43Speaker 2: the extent that we are today is because we have
- 19:47Speaker 2: seen in this case an incredible collaboration around the clock,
- 19:54Speaker 2: in the middle of the night. It doesn't matter. We
- 19:57Speaker 2: call each other, we make contact. They need a warrant,
- 20:01Speaker 2: they need something, someone wants legal advice. These are the
- 20:06Speaker 2: men and women who never give it up. You hear
- 20:10Speaker 2: about government employees, but I don't know if you really
- 20:13Speaker 2: realize what it is that they do. They are incredible,
- 20:19Speaker 2: and this case is big. Four years ten months and
- 20:25Speaker 2: twenty eight days ago, an individual placed a bomb in
- 20:29Speaker 2: the vicinity of both the RNC and the DNC, and
- 20:33Speaker 2: for that amount of time that individual evaded accountability. Today,
- 20:38Speaker 2: as a result of the cumulative efforts of the men
- 20:42Speaker 2: and women in the FBI and the Police Department and
- 20:46Speaker 2: the Department of Justice, we are finally able to make
- 20:51Speaker 2: an arrest of an individual by the name of Brian Cole.
- 20:55Speaker 2: As the Attorney General is indicated, he is arrested for
- 21:00Speaker 2: sporting and explosive device and interstate commerce as well as
- 21:04Speaker 2: the attempted malicious destruction by means of explosive materials.
- 21:10Speaker 4: That's a judge, Janine Piro again, the United States Attorney
- 21:13Speaker 4: for the District of Washington, d C. And Attorney General
- 21:18Speaker 4: Pam Bondi. She so far has been a powerhouse and
- 21:21Speaker 4: doing a lot of things, getting taking a lot of
- 21:23Speaker 4: heat right on the Epstein stuff and a bunch of
- 21:25Speaker 4: other things. But she kicked off the victory lap at
- 21:29Speaker 4: the press conference. You heard that good old fashioned police
- 21:33Speaker 4: work for cuffing this thirty year old Virginia loner, mister Cole,
- 21:38Speaker 4: she said pretty clearly when she laid it out earlier
- 21:41Speaker 4: this morning, Brian Cole was arrested, and that's great. Now
- 21:45Speaker 4: where's the evidence? How they get him? They said they
- 21:47Speaker 4: have cell phone pings tracing his path, and how he
- 21:51Speaker 4: was trying to be sneaky, the bomb making goodies in
- 21:54Speaker 4: his mom's basement. The guy's been stockpiling since twenty nineteen.
- 21:58Speaker 4: That's interesting, you know, was it always planned for January sixth,
- 22:02Speaker 4: twenty twenty one? Was there a bigger plan in place?
- 22:05Speaker 4: I mean, it's just interesting to me, right, Also interesting
- 22:11Speaker 4: this man fake Tapper. He called mister Cole a white
- 22:16Speaker 4: man when mister Cole's actually a black man, which I
- 22:19Speaker 4: just thought was an interesting distortion of the facts. Anyway,
- 22:25Speaker 4: Bondi also talked about how the Department of Justice under
- 22:28Speaker 4: the Trump team got this done because it was stalled
- 22:33Speaker 4: under the Biden team. And I think that's a good
- 22:38Speaker 4: thing to point out. Right, finally, you know, you get justice.
- 22:41Speaker 4: MLK said, justice denied? Is justice delayed? Is justice denied?
- 22:47Speaker 4: I think that's right. But we'll see how this turns out.
- 22:50Speaker 9: Now.
- 22:50Speaker 4: Right by her side, you have FBI Director Cash Mattel
- 22:53Speaker 4: firing shots at the Biden crew for letting this thing
- 22:56Speaker 4: go unsolved. As long as it did saying, you're not
- 23:00Speaker 4: going to walk into our capital city, put down two
- 23:02Speaker 4: explosive devices and get away with it, He declared, uh,
- 23:06Speaker 4: slamming the previous administrations in action, but tell us all
- 23:10Speaker 4: about defending our way of life. And I'm glad he
- 23:13Speaker 4: is right now. This mystery here has been a Mic
- 23:19Speaker 4: Drock moment for a lot of people. Now we have
- 23:23Speaker 4: a little less you know, there's less shadows going on.
- 23:26Speaker 4: It's a little bit more straight up accountability happening. I
- 23:28Speaker 4: think that Cash Bettel is doing a great job in
- 23:32Speaker 4: the FBI, and that's why he's also taking heat. Then
- 23:35Speaker 4: here's FBI Director Dan Bongino, the deputy director, and this
- 23:42Speaker 4: is good right. He deserves a victory lap on this
- 23:45Speaker 4: one as well. Dan's been out there with the rest
- 23:47Speaker 4: of him and I've got a clip of audio from
- 23:48Speaker 4: him as well.
- 23:49Speaker 5: Listen to this, folks, You're not going to walk into
- 23:53Speaker 5: our capital city, put down two explosive devices and walk
- 23:58Speaker 5: off in the sunset going to happen. We were going
- 24:01Speaker 5: to track this person to the end of the earth.
- 24:04Speaker 5: There was no way he was getting away. Well, we
- 24:07Speaker 5: didn't have to track him to the end of the earth.
- 24:08Speaker 5: It wound up in Woodbridge, Virginia.
- 24:12Speaker 4: Outstanding Dan Bongino, and he continued, go ahead and play
- 24:16Speaker 4: the tape.
- 24:16Speaker 5: I was smiling at you because I certainly remember the moment.
- 24:20Speaker 5: Daren remembers it too, He said, are you sitting down?
- 24:24Speaker 5: He called me on the phone. I said, oh boy,
- 24:26Speaker 5: why sis bad news? And he said, I think we
- 24:32Speaker 5: got him. What exactly that tip was? We're going to
- 24:36Speaker 5: have to pass on that from right now while we're
- 24:39Speaker 5: still there's obviously we're in the prologue of a long book.
- 24:43Speaker 5: This is just the beginning. This is not the end
- 24:45Speaker 5: of the investigation, as you all well know having reported
- 24:47Speaker 5: on these for a long time. There's interviews to be conducted,
- 24:51Speaker 5: the search warrant processing scene is not even done, so
- 24:54Speaker 5: we're at the early stages. So that's the only reason
- 24:56Speaker 5: I hesitate tell you what the exact tip I was.
- 24:58Speaker 5: But yes, that was absolutely the moment, and it was
- 25:02Speaker 5: due to the diligent and incredible work of a team
- 25:06Speaker 5: in the Washington Field office that came in and just
- 25:09Speaker 5: scoured through this over and over and over and over again.
- 25:13Speaker 6: In general.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Was it forensic?
- 25:15Speaker 4: Was it a phone call?
- 25:17Speaker 1: Was it something about a vehicle?
- 25:20Speaker 5: I'd rather I will just leave it generally forensic evidence. Yeah,
- 25:24Speaker 5: it's fair enough to say.
- 25:26Speaker 4: All right that again, Deputy Director Dan Bongino's saying, look,
- 25:29Speaker 4: it's not going to happen about letting bombers room free
- 25:34Speaker 4: celebrate in the arrest as a win for law and order.
- 25:36Speaker 4: Good for him, Dan's keeping it real. In my opinion,
- 25:39Speaker 4: this guy's a Trump supporter who confessed to being disappointed
- 25:42Speaker 4: in the twenty twenty results and believing that it was stolen,
- 25:46Speaker 4: just like I do. And listen, emotions run high in
- 25:49Speaker 4: these things. But pipe bombs. I thought that stuff was
- 25:52Speaker 4: put there by the government, if I'm being honest with you.
- 25:55Speaker 4: So this is a good development. I'm happy to see
- 25:59Speaker 4: what's going on, and I'm hopeful that this is, you know,
- 26:02Speaker 4: the lead that is accurate, and they're following up on
- 26:04Speaker 4: the right stuff. And I think they are got no
- 26:06Speaker 4: reason to doubt this team of people, Bongino, Patel, Bondi, Pierro.
- 26:14Speaker 4: I mean, it's a lot of people, right, they can't
- 26:16Speaker 4: all be wrong. And the FEDS track coals every move,
- 26:22Speaker 4: which I think is pretty good. And he has a
- 26:27Speaker 4: little dog that he walks apparently, and this is good,
- 26:32Speaker 4: very very good. I love it. I love the no
- 26:34Speaker 4: nonsense approach. Outstanding, and let's not forget about us Attorney
- 26:39Speaker 4: Janni Piro painting the hilarious picture of Coal being the
- 26:45Speaker 4: ultimate introvert. I don't think he was that introverted. This
- 26:48Speaker 4: guy's building bombs. I'm not, you know, taking exception here.
- 26:51Speaker 4: I'm just saying. He lives with his mom. He's always
- 26:53Speaker 4: in headphones, strolling with his little dog to seven eleven.
- 26:57Speaker 4: It's like the neighbor you never suspect the bomb building, right,
- 27:02Speaker 4: she said. The quiet individual you would never imagine capable
- 27:07Speaker 4: of building a pipe bomb, she said, revealing the chilling
- 27:11Speaker 4: details of his low key life. Bureau shredded. Senator Mark
- 27:15Speaker 4: Warner's gripes is dumb and I think I have those too,
- 27:20Speaker 4: if you want to hear them. This is a good
- 27:22Speaker 4: thing because warners, he's a realpen Now check this out.
- 27:26Speaker 8: I think it is good news if this perpetrator.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Got arrested.
- 27:30Speaker 8: But I got to tell you, it kind of makes
- 27:33Speaker 8: me looking at this crowd doing a victory lap when
- 27:38Speaker 8: all the senior FBI officials across all key divisions have
- 27:41Speaker 8: been fired for political purposes, When in some field offices
- 27:45Speaker 8: up to forty five percent of the FBI officers who
- 27:49Speaker 8: were doing things like counter tespionage and cyber have been
- 27:53Speaker 8: assigned to do immigration cases. It's a little rich that
- 27:58Speaker 8: they're saying, America, say how much earlier could we have
- 28:02Speaker 8: caught this guy if resources hadn't been diverted.
- 28:05Speaker 4: Okay, So Jenny and Pierro fire is back at Senator
- 28:07Speaker 4: Warner's saying he's a dumb dumb saying maybe he should
- 28:10Speaker 4: talk about the fact that the Biden administration had this investigation.
- 28:15Speaker 4: You had four years to solve it, and you did it.
- 28:18Speaker 4: She vowed to take this case across the finish line,
- 28:20Speaker 4: crediting Trump's Department of Justice for dusting off the file
- 28:23Speaker 4: that Democrats ignored. Listen, Judge Jenine, in my opinion, you're
- 28:26Speaker 4: a force that keeps swinging. You are the literal hammer
- 28:31Speaker 4: of justice. Super happy that you're there with the rest
- 28:34Speaker 4: of that team. Honestly proud moment I think for many Americans. Look,
- 28:38Speaker 4: I mean, he goes, this isn't just news. This is
- 28:39Speaker 4: a reminder that truth ultimately prevails, even if it takes
- 28:43Speaker 4: a Trump comeback back to Washington right to drain some
- 28:47Speaker 4: of the swamp, to light the fuse on this thing.
- 28:50Speaker 4: The bad guys got got and I love that the
- 28:53Speaker 4: good guys win and we all get to laugh at
- 28:56Speaker 4: the uh, you know, at the fumble that the left
- 28:59Speaker 4: had here over the last four years. So anyway, I mean,
- 29:02Speaker 4: he goes that's the latest on the break of news
- 29:04Speaker 4: with the January sixth pipe bombers suspect. Of course, there's
- 29:08Speaker 4: critics out there saying this doesn't add up, it doesn't
- 29:10Speaker 4: make sense. Former FBI agent Kyle Sarafin is one of them.
- 29:13Speaker 4: Maybe we'll have them on the show to talk about it.
- 29:15Speaker 4: I don't think we'll be able to get Bongino or
- 29:18Speaker 4: Patel or Bondi or Piro or any of them, just
- 29:21Speaker 4: because they do such limited media now that they're you know,
- 29:23Speaker 4: in the administration. I'll get you as many perspective on
- 29:26Speaker 4: this as I can. My personal thought, I believe they
- 29:29Speaker 4: got their guy, you know, I don't think that they're
- 29:31Speaker 4: making a mistake here anyway.
- 29:33Speaker 13: More.
- 29:33Speaker 4: To come straight ahead, Stay vigilant, stay victorious. I'm Valdees.
- 29:39Speaker 1: This is America.
- 29:43Speaker 4: Now. For weeks you've heard me talking about Noom dot
- 29:46Speaker 4: com slash. This is America, Noom dot com slash. This
- 29:50Speaker 4: is America. That's Noom dot com slash. This is America.
- 29:55Speaker 4: I use Noom dot com slash. This is America to
- 29:59Speaker 4: keep my thought in order to follow a plan designed
- 30:02Speaker 4: by psychologists to help me make sure I stay hydrated,
- 30:05Speaker 4: to make sure that I'm tracking my meals, counting the calories,
- 30:10Speaker 4: staying focused on my health, not getting anxious, not overeating.
- 30:15Speaker 4: That's important because sometimes this politics, the news, it gets
- 30:18Speaker 4: me stressed out. First thing I want to do is
- 30:20Speaker 4: grab a cheeseburger. So you can do this. It's an app.
- 30:24Speaker 4: You can do it anytime, anywhere. Now's the time for
- 30:27Speaker 4: you to take control over your health, mental health, all that.
- 30:31Speaker 4: Noom dot com slash. This is America's where you got
- 30:34Speaker 4: to go to check out your trial. It's a personalized trial.
- 30:37Speaker 4: So go to Noom dot com slash. This is America.
- 30:41Speaker 4: Noom dot com slash. This is America. The forty fifth
- 30:47Speaker 4: President Donald Trump thinks it's an honor to speak with
- 30:50Speaker 4: Rich Valdez.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Very good.
- 30:56Speaker 4: The honor is all yours, conservative time with a dash
- 31:02Speaker 4: of Sofrito. Now here's Rich Valdez. All right, I mean
- 31:06Speaker 4: he goes, welcome back, Rich Valdez, keeping your company tonight
- 31:10Speaker 4: and this continues. ABC News reporting now that Ed trumpito
- 31:16Speaker 4: was right, the administration telling the truth. Some vindication here,
- 31:21Speaker 4: it seems to me. ABC News Martha Radditz giving a
- 31:25Speaker 4: report that these quote unquote fishermen were not fishermen, but
- 31:29Speaker 4: in fact Narco terrorists that were trafficking drugs, and we're
- 31:34Speaker 4: trying to call in reinforcements. Listen to this.
- 31:36Speaker 14: Tonight new information. According to a source familiar with the incident,
- 31:41Speaker 14: the two survivors climbed back onto the boat after the
- 31:44Speaker 14: initial strike. They were believed to be potentially in communication
- 31:48Speaker 14: with others and salvaging some of the drugs. Because of that,
- 31:52Speaker 14: it was determined they were still in the fight and
- 31:55Speaker 14: valid targets. A JAG officer was also giving legal advice.
- 32:00Speaker 4: Bag officer was giving legal advice. How about that now?
- 32:03Speaker 4: Stephen Miller, Deputy White House Chief of Staff, he weighs
- 32:07Speaker 4: in on this, giving his reaction on the Fox News channel.
- 32:11Speaker 4: Check this out.
- 32:11Speaker 13: But it just doesn't get more crystal clear than that.
- 32:15Speaker 13: The mission is take out the boat, stop the drugs,
- 32:19Speaker 13: keep this vessel and its cargo from reaching our shore
- 32:22Speaker 13: using lethal means and our amazing military. The heroes of
- 32:27Speaker 13: the United States Armed Forces did exactly that. President Trump,
- 32:32Speaker 13: Secretary Haigseeth, and this entire government are committed to finally
- 32:37Speaker 13: using our military to defend our people, our borders, our family,
- 32:41Speaker 13: our culture, our history, our heritage, to defend the United States.
- 32:45Speaker 13: We're not going off running around the Middle East trying
- 32:47Speaker 13: to build the democracies in caves and deserts and in
- 32:52Speaker 13: distant sands that have never known democracy. We're using the
- 32:55Speaker 13: military to protect American security, American prosperity, American lives right here,
- 33:02Speaker 13: where we live, where our children.
- 33:04Speaker 4: Live, outstanding, really well put. Now. Of course, Steven Miller's right,
- 33:10Speaker 4: and JD. Vance also put a great tweet out. I
- 33:13Speaker 4: wish I had it up in front of you, but
- 33:14Speaker 4: he basically said, this right that American presidents have to
- 33:19Speaker 4: protect this country and have you know, strikes against others
- 33:23Speaker 4: without congressional approval has been used by every president you know,
- 33:28Speaker 4: since you know, since Jimmy Carton, I'm pretty sure all
- 33:31Speaker 4: of them. But that was the effect of the tweet,
- 33:36Speaker 4: and he said, and none of them were problematic except
- 33:40Speaker 4: for Trump. Right, It becomes a problem now when Trump
- 33:43Speaker 4: wants to blow up a boat in international waters because
- 33:46Speaker 4: there are drugs on it, and he's been clear about that.
- 33:48Speaker 4: But Congressman Heines, you know, good old Hines, he is
- 33:53Speaker 4: weighing in on this as well, and he had to
- 33:55Speaker 4: finally admit, look, I got this whole thing wrong. Listen
- 33:59Speaker 4: to this.
- 34:00Speaker 8: The admiral confirmed that there had not been a kill
- 34:04Speaker 8: them all order and that there was not an order
- 34:06Speaker 8: to grant no quarter.
- 34:08Speaker 4: So oh, that's all you've got. Well, of course this
- 34:14Speaker 4: exonerates hegset, That exonerates the president, It exonerates everyone involved
- 34:20Speaker 4: from making up the stories that they made up to
- 34:23Speaker 4: trying to do this damage that they've done and make
- 34:26Speaker 4: it worse than it was. So kudos to the Trump
- 34:30Speaker 4: team again, not to be sick a fantic, but just
- 34:32Speaker 4: to really give credit where it's due, to show you that,
- 34:35Speaker 4: look at how hard they have to work, not only
- 34:37Speaker 4: to do the right thing, but then when they do
- 34:39Speaker 4: the right thing, you've got people on the left they're
- 34:40Speaker 4: trying to slow them down to make it look like
- 34:42Speaker 4: they're doing the wrong thing. I'm happy when they do
- 34:45Speaker 4: do the right thing and we're able to all see
- 34:47Speaker 4: it and celebrate it and applaud it, because that's important. Now,
- 34:50Speaker 4: whether it's drug boats, or deporting illegal aliens in different areas,
- 34:54Speaker 4: especially the ones like in Somalia. I should say the
- 34:58Speaker 4: ones in Minnesota that are Somalian because man, let me
- 35:03Speaker 4: tell you, this is out of control. You've got the mayor,
- 35:06Speaker 4: they're weighing in on things. Listen to this, Jacob Fray,
- 35:10Speaker 4: Mayor of Minneapolis.
- 35:12Speaker 3: It's obviously disturbing that the President of the United States
- 35:16Speaker 3: would use terms like garbage to talk about an entire
- 35:20Speaker 3: community that are Americans. Somali Americans are Americans. They make
- 35:28Speaker 3: Minneapolis a better place and we're proud to have these
- 35:30Speaker 3: Americans in our city. And I think the other thing
- 35:34Speaker 3: that we ought to look at is the fact that
- 35:36Speaker 3: if they're just indiscriminately going after people, due process is violated,
- 35:40Speaker 3: Habeas corpus is violated. The entire Constitution is in and
- 35:45Speaker 3: of itself being thrown in a garbage. So you want
- 35:47Speaker 3: to use the term garbage, that's exactly what Donald Trump
- 35:50Speaker 3: is doing right now to the Constitution of the United States.
- 35:53Speaker 4: Sarah, I'd like to call your question to question your
- 35:56Speaker 4: patriotism and call that into question, because I think right
- 36:00Speaker 4: now you're serving up a level of garbage in the
- 36:02Speaker 4: area of patriotism. That is disappointing. Mayor Fray, unbelievable, this guy,
- 36:08Speaker 4: and he's not alone. He's joined by ilhan Omar. She's back.
- 36:13Speaker 4: She's saying. Look, Trump has always been bigoted in these
- 36:16Speaker 4: things that he says and does. Check this out.
- 36:18Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean, I'm not shocked because we know that
- 36:21Speaker 9: the president oftentimes resorts to very bigoted's inophobic, islamophobic, racist
- 36:28Speaker 9: rhetoric when he is trying to escape goat and deflect
- 36:34Speaker 9: from the actual failures that he has himself. We know
- 36:39Speaker 9: that this administration has not fulfilled majority of the promises
- 36:43Speaker 9: that they've made, whether it is bringing costs down, whether
- 36:47Speaker 9: it is the tariffs that are decimating businesses in the
- 36:52Speaker 9: United States, whether it is the possible war crimes that
- 36:57Speaker 9: his Defense secretary is committing. And so to me, it
- 37:02Speaker 9: is important for us one to remind folks that we
- 37:05Speaker 9: are Americans. We're not going anywhere, and we will continue
- 37:09Speaker 9: to be in this country. And two that Minnesultans are
- 37:14Speaker 9: resilient and we will continue to thrive.
- 37:17Speaker 4: That again, il han Omar, better known as some People,
- 37:21Speaker 4: did something right. Remember her. Listen, if she's a citizen,
- 37:25Speaker 4: she can stay here. She could do it. She's got
- 37:27Speaker 4: to do. President Trump said his peace, and he said, look,
- 37:30Speaker 4: I think these are garbage people. They don't add any
- 37:33Speaker 4: value to the United States. He said what he said.
- 37:36Speaker 4: I don't think he's trying to go back on it.
- 37:39Speaker 4: And I agree in large part. You know, when you
- 37:42Speaker 4: have people that are committing fraud sending the money that
- 37:46Speaker 4: they're stealing, siphoning from taxpayers across the country into this
- 37:51Speaker 4: one particular neighborhood so they can funnel that money to
- 37:53Speaker 4: terrorist organization known as Al Shabab. Hey, you don't think
- 37:57Speaker 4: that's garbage. I think garbage is a nice way of
- 37:59Speaker 4: putting it. At least those are my thoughts. Anyway, Amingos,
- 38:02Speaker 4: you keep it locked right here. We're going to continue
- 38:04Speaker 4: with more straight ahead. Don't go anywhere. I'm Rich Valdez.
- 38:07Speaker 1: This is America. This is America, but.
- 38:17Speaker 4: In glace or primal Norodos, Bara, richvald is e s
- 38:22Speaker 4: nos America. Awara, All right, Amingos, welcome back, Rich VALDEZK
- 38:30Speaker 4: keeping your company this evening, Thursday night, lots to discuss.
- 38:35Speaker 4: I want to lighten things up a little bit. I
- 38:37Speaker 4: want to get into a conversation on dating and what
- 38:42Speaker 4: to expect in that world a couple of funny stories.
- 38:45Speaker 4: There's always, of course, I love to look at Dear
- 38:47Speaker 4: Abby and kind of do a play on that called
- 38:49Speaker 4: Dear Richie. And if you have any Dear Richie stuff,
- 38:53Speaker 4: you know, topics, questions, things you want advice on from
- 38:56Speaker 4: somebody like me that's totally not qualified to give you
- 38:59Speaker 4: such an advice, definitely send me a message on one
- 39:02Speaker 4: of my social media's a private message DM. Whatever you
- 39:05Speaker 4: want to do, let me know and I will go
- 39:08Speaker 4: ahead and try and include it in the next show
- 39:10Speaker 4: because that's always a lot of fun for me. But
- 39:12Speaker 4: I saw this clip that I wanted to play for
- 39:15Speaker 4: you because you know, I thought it made some sense
- 39:18Speaker 4: here it is.
- 39:19Speaker 15: You know, people say I would die for my partner.
- 39:22Speaker 15: I love them more than anything in this world. I
- 39:24Speaker 15: would literally lay down and die for them. Okay, but
- 39:27Speaker 15: would you put your phone down when they're telling you
- 39:29Speaker 15: about your day? Do you take their hand when you're
- 39:33Speaker 15: walking down the sidewalk with them. Do you notice when
- 39:36Speaker 15: they come home from work and their mood is a
- 39:37Speaker 15: little off. Do you take the time to stop and
- 39:40Speaker 15: ask them about it, to remember the little things that
- 39:42Speaker 15: they tell you to care that's love. That's love as
- 39:46Speaker 15: an action. That's what keeps connection. Love is a feeling
- 39:51Speaker 15: will be fleeting if we don't follow it, follow it through,
- 39:54Speaker 15: follow it up with action.
- 39:55Speaker 4: Yeah, people say, so love is a feeling, you got
- 39:58Speaker 4: to follow it up with action. Listen, I believe in that.
- 40:01Speaker 4: I think you've got to be there for people. You've
- 40:03Speaker 4: got to show up and not always easy to do, right,
- 40:07Speaker 4: especially if you're kind of aloof like me and you
- 40:09Speaker 4: do the whole ADHD lifestyle where you're just kind of
- 40:12Speaker 4: so busy doing a million different things. You don't know
- 40:14Speaker 4: what you're not knowing, and you don't realize you're not
- 40:17Speaker 4: doing what you're not doing. And this obviously creates problems
- 40:23Speaker 4: in any relationship. And I know I'm not alone in this.
- 40:25Speaker 4: I know there's a lot of people that have those issues.
- 40:27Speaker 4: And one of the things I want to talk about
- 40:29Speaker 4: is that what that looks like, what that impact can be.
- 40:35Speaker 4: And I'm looking at this deer Abby here, I've been
- 40:41Speaker 4: in a relationship for seven years, but I think she
- 40:44Speaker 4: might be the wrong girl. Man, how did it take
- 40:46Speaker 4: you seven years to figure that out? Anyway, listen to this,
- 40:51Speaker 4: dear Abby again. I'm going to give you the deer
- 40:55Speaker 4: Richie version of this as well. So dear Abby and
- 40:57Speaker 4: deer Richie. I'm a man in my seven and these,
- 41:00Speaker 4: it writes this guy. He says his girlfriend is eight
- 41:03Speaker 4: years younger than him. They were first introduced forty two
- 41:07Speaker 4: years ago by relatives who believed they would be a
- 41:10Speaker 4: good match. I was only a child when she was
- 41:14Speaker 4: from a broken home. We dated and liked each other,
- 41:17Speaker 4: but there were communication problems. I was independent as a
- 41:21Speaker 4: younger man and dated, and she was devoted to her
- 41:24Speaker 4: mother and cared for her until her passing. We reconnected
- 41:28Speaker 4: and started dating seven years ago. We live an hour apart,
- 41:32Speaker 4: and I would love to drive to spend a weekend
- 41:35Speaker 4: with her. Every two weeks. We talk every day. Things
- 41:39Speaker 4: were good. I asked if she would be interested in
- 41:43Speaker 4: marriage someday. She said she would consider it. A few
- 41:45Speaker 4: years later, I offered to buy a ring to show
- 41:48Speaker 4: that she belonged to me, and she became upset. I
- 41:51Speaker 4: backed off. A year ago, she suddenly said I shouldn't
- 41:55Speaker 4: come anymore, shouldn't visit her anymore. When I asked why,
- 42:00Speaker 4: she told me I've said many things in the past
- 42:03Speaker 4: that upset her. She said, I poke fun at things
- 42:06Speaker 4: she likes to do and made comments that were intimate
- 42:10Speaker 4: in nature. I asked why she hadn't brought these issues
- 42:13Speaker 4: to my attention sooner. She said she should have, but
- 42:17Speaker 4: just didn't know how to do it. I kid around
- 42:19Speaker 4: a lot, I even poke fun at myself, but I
- 42:22Speaker 4: never intended to hurt anyone's feelings. I apologize and suggested
- 42:26Speaker 4: relationship therapy. She believed we could just work right through this.
- 42:31Speaker 4: She said she had to build up the trust again.
- 42:34Speaker 4: We took a vacation, but nothing really changed. Simple things
- 42:39Speaker 4: like holding hands don't seem to interest her anymore. I
- 42:42Speaker 4: don't have years to waste. Do I have the wrong
- 42:46Speaker 4: girl here? Signed frustrated in Ohio. Now, before I get
- 42:51Speaker 4: into Abby's response, I want to give you my response, Sir,
- 42:55Speaker 4: something wrong with you? If you're in a situation where
- 42:58Speaker 4: the girl doesn't like you, you need to get out
- 43:00Speaker 4: of the situation, not sit there and try and begg
- 43:03Speaker 4: her to like you. She's just going to lose respect
- 43:05Speaker 4: for you, resent you, and it's going to be worse. Now,
- 43:08Speaker 4: that's my advice. I agree that this guy's probably like me.
- 43:14Speaker 4: He's very aloof He has no idea that he's pissing
- 43:16Speaker 4: people off. No idea that his jokes and his self
- 43:20Speaker 4: deprecating humor and whatever it is is bothering other people.
- 43:25Speaker 4: And I've only come to realize these things recently. It's
- 43:28Speaker 4: not that I'm some sort of dramatically self aware person, no,
- 43:31Speaker 4: sennor No. What really happens here is that you start
- 43:34Speaker 4: to find people that are just as annoying as you
- 43:37Speaker 4: are to the rest of the world. And then you're like, man,
- 43:39Speaker 4: that's annoying. Oh my gosh, am I like that. And
- 43:42Speaker 4: you know, for some of us like me, these things
- 43:44Speaker 4: happen in your forties, but prior to that, I thought
- 43:47Speaker 4: everything was hunky doory. Anyway, this is the response from
- 43:52Speaker 4: dear Abby. She says, Yep, you sure do. The lady
- 43:56Speaker 4: isn't physically attracted to you, and she can't bring her
- 44:00Speaker 4: to communicate when you are. The problems that could be
- 44:03Speaker 4: fixed period the end, she does continue, though, you can
- 44:10Speaker 4: do better than this, and the time to start widening
- 44:13Speaker 4: your dating circle is right now. Well listen, I think
- 44:17Speaker 4: that I think she's right kind of what I said.
- 44:21Speaker 4: He's got to get out, he's got to go right now.
- 44:24Speaker 4: She doesn't like him and It's clear she's trying to
- 44:28Speaker 4: be nice. I had an X like this. I was
- 44:31Speaker 4: head over heels and she was just trying to be
- 44:34Speaker 4: polite to not say, hey, I'm done with you. I
- 44:36Speaker 4: think you're a jerk. Right, that just happens. That's how
- 44:40Speaker 4: it goes sometimes, right because you don't realize what you
- 44:44Speaker 4: don't realize. Many of us are that level of aloof
- 44:50Speaker 4: and sometimes you get the other side of this. Right,
- 44:53Speaker 4: what's the other side, Well, the lady who dumps the
- 44:56Speaker 4: guy for doing right instead of ignoring it and then
- 45:01Speaker 4: just coming out and saying I don't want to see
- 45:02Speaker 4: you no more. The one that sees a pattern and
- 45:05Speaker 4: jumps on it. Right, This woman dumped the guy who
- 45:08Speaker 4: repeatedly canceled plans on her at the last minute. Now
- 45:12Speaker 4: some people are calling her too harsh. This piece is
- 45:15Speaker 4: in People magazine, and this was a Reddit thread. The
- 45:19Speaker 4: woman explained that when they first started seeing each other,
- 45:22Speaker 4: everything felt very easy. She explained on Reddit how she
- 45:25Speaker 4: ended a casual relationship after her date repeatedly canceled plans
- 45:29Speaker 4: at the last minute. That is messed up. You get ready,
- 45:32Speaker 4: especially for me. I gotta shave, I get ready. You
- 45:34Speaker 4: gotta get you know, it takes a while. It takes
- 45:36Speaker 4: me out, an hour, half hour, whatever it is. If
- 45:39Speaker 4: I'm not going out, I don't need to do all that.
- 45:42Speaker 4: I don't want to shave. I work in radio, right,
- 45:44Speaker 4: I do TV once or twice a week. Those days
- 45:47Speaker 4: you shave. So for the most part, if I'm not
- 45:49Speaker 4: going to see humans that uh, you know, up close
- 45:52Speaker 4: and personal, I'm not shaving. I'm not going through all that.
- 45:56Speaker 4: So I get it. I get how that would bother
- 45:58Speaker 4: me too. Now. In response, he accused her of being
- 46:01Speaker 4: too harsh, and some of her friends say that she
- 46:06Speaker 4: should have given him another chance. She wondered on the
- 46:10Speaker 4: Reddit thread where she posted this stuff if she'd overreacted,
- 46:14Speaker 4: but some of the commenters on there say that she
- 46:16Speaker 4: was right to expect basic respect and consistency from him,
- 46:23Speaker 4: and I think I tend to agree there. Here's one thing.
- 46:25Speaker 4: To blow it once, maybe even twice, but to make
- 46:29Speaker 4: it a pattern, You're just sending a message, whether you
- 46:32Speaker 4: want to or not, whether you intend to or not,
- 46:34Speaker 4: I don't respect you, and I don't respect your time.
- 46:37Speaker 4: And nobody likes that. Now. One woman is questioning whether
- 46:42Speaker 4: she made the right call. After anything sort of guy
- 46:44Speaker 4: she'd been dating, and same situation last minute cancelations. Now,
- 46:52Speaker 4: these are young people, twenty two years old, explaining that
- 46:55Speaker 4: they first started seeing each other and everything was nice.
- 46:58Speaker 4: Over time I got sloppy canceling, oftentimes an hour before
- 47:04Speaker 4: they were supposed to meet. Come on, who does that right?
- 47:07Speaker 4: So what's happening here? If you're canceling an hour before
- 47:10Speaker 4: you're supposed to meet with somebody, sounds like you wanted
- 47:13Speaker 4: to be there, but you didn't measure your time. Well,
- 47:15Speaker 4: you didn't realize it was a half hour drive plus
- 47:18Speaker 4: the I don't know if you have, you know, twenty
- 47:22Speaker 4: minutes in the shower, a few more minutes to you know,
- 47:26Speaker 4: get your clothes ready, maybe iron them. You're looking at
- 47:29Speaker 4: an hour to get, you know, from door to door
- 47:31Speaker 4: with all the prep. So if this guy's got fifteen
- 47:35Speaker 4: minutes until it's showtime for him and he needs an
- 47:38Speaker 4: hour's worth of prep, clearly he's gonna either show up
- 47:41Speaker 4: late or he's gonna say, you know, I don't want
- 47:42Speaker 4: to do that. Let me just tell her, Hey, something
- 47:44Speaker 4: came up. Sorry, can't go either way. It shows the
- 47:47Speaker 4: lack of prioritization and an inability even if it's a
- 47:52Speaker 4: medical one, but an inability to use your executive functions
- 47:55Speaker 4: in your mind to get things done, to get it
- 47:58Speaker 4: on the calendar, to actually see it through. So I'm
- 48:02Speaker 4: not mad at her there either. I get it, people
- 48:06Speaker 4: are busy, But anyway, she says, over time his behavior shifted.
- 48:09Speaker 4: He started canceling plans more frequently. Other times he'd claim
- 48:15Speaker 4: something came up or that a friend needed him. At first,
- 48:19Speaker 4: she just tried to be patient, saying, you know what,
- 48:22Speaker 4: people have lives and bad days and unexpected things do happen.
- 48:26Speaker 4: But what started as an occasional excuse quickly became the norm.
- 48:30Speaker 4: So it's either that or the guy's got a girlfriend
- 48:32Speaker 4: or a wife and he's just like, oh, the ball
- 48:36Speaker 4: in Shane wants me to go. Hey, something came up, right,
- 48:39Speaker 4: who knows? Who knows what type of situation this is? Anyway,
- 48:43Speaker 4: there were several days where she had already gotten ready
- 48:47Speaker 4: rearrange your schedule and turned down other invitations, only for
- 48:51Speaker 4: him to cancel with little explanation and even less time
- 48:54Speaker 4: until their meeting time. She still kept trying to be understanding,
- 48:59Speaker 4: what a sweet I need a girl like that? Anyway,
- 49:02Speaker 4: After yet another cancelation, this time without any real context.
- 49:05Speaker 4: She said she hit her limit. She told him she
- 49:08Speaker 4: didn't think they could continue seeing each other because it
- 49:11Speaker 4: felt like he no longer respected her time. See he
- 49:13Speaker 4: told you. He didn't take it well. According to the post,
- 49:18Speaker 4: he accused her of being too harsh and giving up
- 49:22Speaker 4: too easily. A couple of her friends also suggested that
- 49:24Speaker 4: she should have given him another chance or communicated more clearly,
- 49:28Speaker 4: but she said she did communicate and the behavior just
- 49:31Speaker 4: never changed. And she's probably right. So I don't know.
- 49:36Speaker 4: I'm curious to know. What do you guys do? What
- 49:38Speaker 4: do you think? Because now she's left wondering if she
- 49:41Speaker 4: overreacted or if she's being too picky. And part of
- 49:46Speaker 4: what she said was she's not expecting the perfect person.
- 49:50Speaker 4: She didn't expect perfection, but she did expect basic respect
- 49:55Speaker 4: and consistency. Is there anything wrong with that? I don't
- 49:57Speaker 4: think so anyway. Since putting her situation on Reddit, hundreds
- 50:01Speaker 4: of people have chimed in to share their thoughts on
- 50:03Speaker 4: the situation. A lot of the Reddit commenters overwhelmingly took
- 50:07Speaker 4: her side, saying she made the right choice. Good for you.
- 50:10Speaker 4: When user comment, it's saying you clearly are not a
- 50:13Speaker 4: priority for him. I tend to agree with that. Don't
- 50:16Speaker 4: wait around for someone who disrespects your time. There are
- 50:20Speaker 4: better guys out there. That's probably true. And I say
- 50:23Speaker 4: that just because I could be that guy. I could
- 50:25Speaker 4: be the guy that's not planning. Well, if you're a
- 50:27Speaker 4: pretty girl and she's you know, getting all girl pretty
- 50:30Speaker 4: for you, doing her hair, getting a manicure, petticure, whatever
- 50:33Speaker 4: it is, right, things that aren't cheap and take a
- 50:35Speaker 4: lot of effort, you know, putting all the ten different
- 50:38Speaker 4: creams that girls put on after the shower and all
- 50:41Speaker 4: that stuff, and the thirty minutes of doing hair, all
- 50:43Speaker 4: those things, and you don't have the decency to show
- 50:46Speaker 4: up or show up on time. Do you really deserve
- 50:51Speaker 4: to have an audience with those people? I think not.
- 50:55Speaker 4: I think not. Anyway, she continues saying, can't something once
- 51:00Speaker 4: is understandable, but multiple cancelations at the last minute is
- 51:04Speaker 4: disrespectful of my time. And it's already showing me who
- 51:07Speaker 4: you are. Unreliable and I'm just not into that. By
- 51:11Speaker 4: that's what another person said. Someone else replied, you need
- 51:15Speaker 4: to move on from this guy. After the initial excitement
- 51:18Speaker 4: of meeting someone new. It's kind of worn off on
- 51:21Speaker 4: this guy. Now that you've told him it's not working.
- 51:25Speaker 4: Maybe his interest is picked up again, maybe not. You
- 51:27Speaker 4: deserve to have someone interested in you all the time
- 51:31Speaker 4: and be the most considerate version of themselves, which is
- 51:34Speaker 4: always making time for you. I tend to agree with
- 51:38Speaker 4: that too, and inasmuch as it's real right and inasmuch
- 51:41Speaker 4: as you know you're not a NASA astronaut that has
- 51:43Speaker 4: to be on the road or has to be building
- 51:46Speaker 4: rocket ships and stuff like that. If those are things
- 51:50Speaker 4: that are priorities for you, then you have to do them.
- 51:53Speaker 4: But then don't make plans that you can't keep anyway.
- 51:55Speaker 4: I want to know your thoughts on this again at
- 51:57Speaker 4: rich Valdesk on all of the social media. You can

- 52:49Speaker 1: This is America with Rich Valdez.
- 52:53Speaker 4: All right up, he goes, Welcome back. It's Rich Valdez
- 52:55Speaker 4: VALDESK with an s at Rich Valdesk on all of
- 52:58Speaker 4: the social media. Thank you for being with me this evening,
- 53:02Speaker 4: and I do want to get your thoughts on that,
- 53:04Speaker 4: so I'm looking forward to your comments as we hit
- 53:06Speaker 4: the weekend tomorrow. By the way, we've got Stephen A. Smith,
- 53:10Speaker 4: this legendary sportscaster who I've interviewed in the past. It
- 53:13Speaker 4: was a really fun conversation I had with him. But
- 53:15Speaker 4: he's going to be on the View with the ladies
- 53:18Speaker 4: of the View, and he's always unpredictable. You don't know
- 53:21Speaker 4: if he's going to lean to the left or lean
- 53:23Speaker 4: to the right, because he's one of those guys that
- 53:26Speaker 4: you know, has opinions that kind of varied. He's really
- 53:29Speaker 4: he's a straight shooter. He's an independent and I really
- 53:32Speaker 4: enjoy his commentary and conversation with him as well. But yeah,
- 53:36Speaker 4: Steven A. Smith on there with whoo being the crazies,
- 53:38Speaker 4: the locas on the view looking forward to that. Plus
- 53:42Speaker 4: we've got what else is happening tomorrow Friday? You've got Oh,
- 53:48Speaker 4: you've got the rumor? Has it that El Trompito's and
- 53:51Speaker 4: all this magnus, the forty fifth and forty seventh president
- 53:53Speaker 4: of these United States is scheduled to win the FIFA
- 53:59Speaker 4: Peace Prize. Yep, Apparently the Soccer Federation fi FA. FIFA well,
- 54:08Speaker 4: looks like they're going to have an inaugural ceremony for
- 54:13Speaker 4: this World Peace Prize, and as I understand the rumors,
- 54:19Speaker 4: they're considering giving it to eletrom Pitos and all of
- 54:22Speaker 4: this magnus. So I'll keep you posted on that. I
- 54:24Speaker 4: don't know the extent of that or not, but I
- 54:28Speaker 4: do know that President Trump should win the Nobel Prize.
- 54:33Speaker 4: President Trump should win the FIFA Prize. Somebody should send
- 54:36Speaker 4: me some free tickets to FIFA. I would like to go.
- 54:39Speaker 4: I've never been to a World Cup game. I think
- 54:42Speaker 4: that's pretty cool and I'm curious to know your thoughts
- 54:45Speaker 4: if you have been to one of those I have
- 54:48Speaker 4: not anyway, there's the view, there's this, there's that. I
- 54:53Speaker 4: wanted to talk about a couple of things here, because ultimately,
- 54:59Speaker 4: whether it's politics or anything else that people want to
- 55:03Speaker 4: get into in their discussions, you have to have some
- 55:07Speaker 4: sort of a semblance of reality, some sort of a
- 55:10Speaker 4: basis for truth where we agree. Right. I can't argue
- 55:13Speaker 4: or have a discussion with somebody who says, well, you know,
- 55:18Speaker 4: I'm actually flying while you're standing on the floor, but
- 55:20Speaker 4: yet I see eye to eye with you. That doesn't work, right,
- 55:23Speaker 4: You can't. I can't. I can't do that doesn't work,
- 55:29Speaker 4: doesn't fit my brain. I need to understand where you're
- 55:31Speaker 4: coming from. Hopefully you understand where I'm coming from. That's
- 55:35Speaker 4: how we get along. We communicate, we talk, and we
- 55:38Speaker 4: try to get to a place of understanding. But I
- 55:42Speaker 4: think too much of that is fallen by the wayside.
- 55:45Speaker 4: It's begun to dissipate in today's culture where we don't
- 55:47Speaker 4: have such strong communication anymore. So I'm curious to always
- 55:53Speaker 4: hear from you all, from we the people that want
- 55:57Speaker 4: to weigh in and let us know a little bit
- 55:59Speaker 4: about what's going on going on in your world. In
- 56:01Speaker 4: your life, so you know what to do. You know
- 56:04Speaker 4: how to find me at Rich Faldes on all the
- 56:06Speaker 4: social media at Rich Valdes And I want to again
- 56:12Speaker 4: remind you my closing remarks here. Right. I always say
- 56:16Speaker 4: we got to stand for something as Americans, right, because
- 56:19Speaker 4: it's good to have fun and games. And I enjoy
- 56:21Speaker 4: having fun and games on this show, but I also
- 56:24Speaker 4: enjoy the I guess, the the shared responsibility we have
- 56:30Speaker 4: to be informed patriots, the shared responsibility that we have
- 56:34Speaker 4: to ensure that we're doing the right thing with everything
- 56:38Speaker 4: that we've got, that which we've been entrusted with, we're
- 56:42Speaker 4: doing right. And well that doesn't matter if it's your time,
- 56:44Speaker 4: your talent, your treasure, whatever right, whatever it is that
- 56:47Speaker 4: you've got, you got to do the right thing with it,
- 56:50Speaker 4: because you know we're in I don't know, the first
- 56:53Speaker 4: week of December is almost over a month from now.
- 56:58Speaker 4: We're going to see how many people have held it
- 57:02Speaker 4: steady in that first week of their New Year's resolutions.
- 57:07Speaker 4: And that's why we have to You got to stand
- 57:10Speaker 4: for something, right. I always talk about that you stand
- 57:13Speaker 4: for nothing, you'll fall for anything. That's why we got
- 57:16Speaker 4: to stand for something and It's one of the most
- 57:20Speaker 4: important things I think we'll ever do, or we'll ever
- 57:22Speaker 4: talk about, is standing up for oneself. Then there's the
- 57:29Speaker 4: question of loving America. Do we love America or do
- 57:32Speaker 4: we not? Are we indifferent towards America or not. I
- 57:35Speaker 4: can tell you there are times where I'm not happy.
- 57:37Speaker 4: There's times where I know that our government did something
- 57:40Speaker 4: that isn't right and because of whichever administration was involved,
- 57:43Speaker 4: and oftentimes these are matters of historical record. But you
- 57:49Speaker 4: look at that and you say, I can't sit here
- 57:51Speaker 4: and hate my country because of the mistakes it's made.
- 57:54Speaker 4: At the same time, you want to make sure that
- 57:56Speaker 4: you equip yourselves so that you don't make these same
- 57:59Speaker 4: mistakes again. And it's that place, that happy place that
- 58:04Speaker 4: I think that we all need to remain in and
- 58:07Speaker 4: live in in order to be effective. So to that,
- 58:13Speaker 4: I say us start approximont, take care, good night, and
- 58:18Speaker 4: God bless you America. And remember you got to stand
- 58:21Speaker 4: for something, because if you stand for nothing, you'll fall
- 58:23Speaker 4: for anything. And the only thing necessary for evil to
- 58:27Speaker 4: triumph is for good people like you to sit there
- 58:30Speaker 4: and do nothing. So make sure you do something. Make
- 58:33Speaker 4: sure you take a stand. Make sure you're an informed
- 58:35Speaker 4: patriot doing the right thing, following in the footsteps of
- 58:39Speaker 4: those that informed the founding of this country, Sir Edmund
- 58:42Speaker 4: Burke and the writers that they, you know, relied upon
- 58:48Speaker 4: bursting who else Montesquieu, Alexi Detauville. Right, there's so many
- 58:56Speaker 4: greats and these are these class you know you want
- 59:01Speaker 4: to read.
- 59:02Speaker 9: Right.
- 59:02Speaker 4: Just the other day I was reviewing Fa hay X
- 59:05Speaker 4: The Road to Surf Them And man, I'll tell you,
- 59:08Speaker 4: I think we might be there if this whole universal
- 59:10Speaker 4: basic income thing that you know, Musk is talking about
- 59:12Speaker 4: becomes a thing. And we now have socialism funded by
- 59:18Speaker 4: by capitalism, which is an obscene thought to begin with.
- 59:23Speaker 4: We're well on our way to being in the wrong
- 59:26Speaker 4: place and getting there quickly. So I hold on to
- 59:30Speaker 4: my faith and again I mean he goes a pleasure
- 59:34Speaker 4: as always. We will continue this tomorrow on Friday. Take care,
- 59:38Speaker 4: good night, and God bless you America. I'm Rich Valdez,
- 59:41Speaker 4: and this is America.
- 59:43Speaker 1: This is America.
