- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 0:03Speaker 1: the day. Wow, it's been a fun day. We've had
- 0:06Speaker 1: a good time today. Yep. Day And what did we learn?
- 0:10Speaker 2: What did we learn?
- 0:12Speaker 1: We spent twelve hundred on the lottery in one ninety
- 0:18Speaker 1: pay off.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Tonight gone, but let's go big Tommy going back, going
- 0:22Speaker 2: right back.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Junior's back, Yep, welcome.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Welcome back, and the teams have remained. Did you come around? Well?
- 0:35Speaker 1: That was one of your favorites, wasn't it. I just
- 0:38Speaker 1: love welling by Carter Junior? Were you around when Welcome back?
- 0:43Speaker 2: Everything? He was in panthers, I was in the pin
- 0:46Speaker 2: watching it. Nobody ain't nobody finished. Don't quit asking him questions.
- 0:54Speaker 2: All right, Steve, come on, take us out, you know, uh, surely.
- 1:02Speaker 2: And I were talking a minute ago as I was
- 1:05Speaker 2: thinking about my clothes, remarks, what I might say, and
- 1:09Speaker 2: it the topic came up of regrets. Do I have
- 1:13Speaker 2: any regrets? And you know, of course everybody, everybody's had
- 1:22Speaker 2: something happened to them, and you don't lie. Everybody has
- 1:26Speaker 2: had something happened to them that they wish didn't happen.
- 1:30Speaker 2: That's I don't know a person that's you know people
- 1:32Speaker 2: giving I have no regrets, Well, yeah, that's I mean,
- 1:37Speaker 2: it's easy to say that once it's over, that you
- 1:40Speaker 2: have no regrets. But I've been in so many regretful
- 1:44Speaker 2: situations I can't even explain it. And so yes, of
- 1:51Speaker 2: course there are things I wished had never happened to me.
- 1:56Speaker 2: But on the other side of all of those regrets
- 2:00Speaker 2: is the reason why it happened. And that's the key
- 2:05Speaker 2: that you have to get to. Because if you wallow
- 2:08Speaker 2: in regret, if you sit there and mimic it, rerun it,
- 2:16Speaker 2: relive it, remain in the condition that it caused, what
- 2:22Speaker 2: good is that to you? What good is that? Regret
- 2:27Speaker 2: serves no purpose? Regret is like guilt. It's two of
- 2:32Speaker 2: the most useless emotions that we have because guilt serves
- 2:36Speaker 2: no purpose for anybody except the person that's applying it.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Guilt is crazy, man. Have you ever noticed that every
- 2:42Speaker 2: time you feel guilty is usually a person behind it
- 2:47Speaker 2: that's making you feel guilty. Have you ever noticed that
- 2:51Speaker 2: you don't just wake up and feel guilty? Man? I
- 2:54Speaker 2: got a great life. Man, it's crazy. I shouldn't be
- 2:58Speaker 2: living this good? Why? Why? Because I can assure you
- 3:03Speaker 2: somebody has said something to you to make you feel
- 3:06Speaker 2: that way. Regret, y'all, this is the way I handled regret.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Regret has been a part of my foundation. The things
- 3:20Speaker 2: that happened to me that I wished had not happened
- 3:23Speaker 2: to me, I made them a part of my foundation.
- 3:27Speaker 2: I can stand on all my regrets right now, and
- 3:30Speaker 2: I do. I stand on all of them. I realized
- 3:33Speaker 2: the mistakes I made, I owned up to them. I
- 3:37Speaker 2: learned the valuable lesson that I needed to learn. But
- 3:40Speaker 2: I also came away with the blessing that it created.
- 3:44Speaker 2: So regret has become one of the stabilizing forces of
- 3:50Speaker 2: my foundation. Also, anything I ever regretted has really brightened
- 3:57Speaker 2: my future because guess what, I bet I do that again.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Oh my goodness, how many times have you had a
- 4:05Speaker 2: regretful moment that taught you a valuable lesson? See that's
- 4:10Speaker 2: what they for, y'all. Those regrettable moments. They build character.
- 4:16Speaker 2: They help shape your future. See, once you you know
- 4:20Speaker 2: you know what, man, you know what kind of like
- 4:21Speaker 2: you know. The older you get and you're talking to
- 4:24Speaker 2: a young person, you're trying to give a young person
- 4:26Speaker 2: some advice, and then when they ask you for the
- 4:29Speaker 2: advice and you start telling them and then they gonna
- 4:31Speaker 2: say no, but I was gonna do it like this
- 4:33Speaker 2: and no, and you say, I stop them all the time,
- 4:37Speaker 2: I said, listen, listen, listen, man, I don't seen this
- 4:41Speaker 2: movie before. It ain't gonna end well. I was the
- 4:47Speaker 2: star in that scene, that scene you just described. I
- 4:51Speaker 2: was the star in that scene you just described. And
- 4:55Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you right now, it's not gonna end well. Oh,
- 4:59Speaker 2: but they keep on talking about well, I was gonna
- 5:01Speaker 2: do it this way and I don't go that way.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Listen to me, man. You can walk around the Marlberry
- 5:08Speaker 2: Bush any kind of way you want to. You can skip,
- 5:11Speaker 2: you can crawl, you can belly, you can army crawl,
- 5:15Speaker 2: you can get up in one leg, hop it. You
- 5:17Speaker 2: can walk backwards around the Marlberry Bush. But when you
- 5:20Speaker 2: go round to Marlberry Bush and you come back, this
- 5:23Speaker 2: is what's gonna happen. And see, that's the problem. Sometimes
- 5:26Speaker 2: when you're trying to forewarn a person about something that
- 5:30Speaker 2: you live through as regret, sometimes you just gotta let
- 5:33Speaker 2: them go. That's where sayings come on, you know, That's
- 5:37Speaker 2: where sayings come from. Like you just don't believe fat
- 5:40Speaker 2: meat greasy. Let me eat some. Go ahead, but listen
- 5:44Speaker 2: to me. Regret has taught me so much, and I'm
- 5:48Speaker 2: grateful for every regretful moment I've had. But if you
- 5:52Speaker 2: have some regretful moments, quit wallowing in it. Stand on it.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Yeah I did it. Yeah that was me, my bad,
- 6:00Speaker 2: my mistake. I'm sorry. I've apologized. I've asked God for forgiveness.
- 6:05Speaker 2: I've asked you for forgiveness. Now the fact that you
- 6:08Speaker 2: won't forgive me, that's on you. God is in the
- 6:12Speaker 2: forgiven business. I take all the regrets, put it on
- 6:16Speaker 2: my foundation, and it helps shape my future. So you
- 6:20Speaker 2: know what, Hope I don't have too many more regrets,
- 6:24Speaker 2: but if I do, I packed that away as a
- 6:27Speaker 2: lesson well learned. Also, those are my closing remarks. Hey,
- 6:30Speaker 2: y'all listen to this important fact. Please talk to God.
- 6:35Speaker 2: He would absolutely love to hear from He loves you.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Don't forget you. Y'all have a great day today.
