- 0:00Speaker 1: You just heard the news. Now you'll find out what
- 0:03Speaker 1: it all means. Hey, smart simone on seven tenor.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Hey, we'll get to President Trump as Jesus. We'll get
- 0:18Speaker 2: to Eric Swallwell, we'll get to Hassan Piker. We'll get
- 0:22Speaker 2: to a ran mom, Donnie Bruce Blakeman. We may have
- 0:28Speaker 2: a Hillary Clinton problem. We'll get to that coming up.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Lots to get to today important stuff. President Trump is finished.
- 0:39Speaker 2: It's over. He's destroyed himself with the picture of Jesus,
- 0:44Speaker 2: with the attack and the Pope. This is what you're
- 0:49Speaker 2: actually believing if you watch Morning Joe and the fake news.
- 0:53Speaker 2: I was watching Morning Joe scream for an hour about
- 0:57Speaker 2: attacking the Pope, starting a feud with thee Nobody has
- 1:01Speaker 2: ever had a fight with the Pope. It's unheard of.
- 1:04Speaker 2: You can't. Hey, I hate to remind you, but Donald
- 1:08Speaker 2: Trump did this about eight years ago with the other pope.
- 1:11Speaker 2: He doesn't He's done it before. It's all going to
- 1:14Speaker 2: be forgotten about four weeks. Nobody's going to remember this.
- 1:19Speaker 2: He's had fights with popees before. It doesn't affect anything
- 1:23Speaker 2: you remember at the time. Actually, it was about ten
- 1:24Speaker 2: years ago. He was running in the South Carolina primary.
- 1:27Speaker 2: We've got a big verbal battle with the pope, then
- 1:30Speaker 2: the then pope, and it was the South Carolina primary
- 1:34Speaker 2: and these same talking ads. That's it. He's finished. He's
- 1:37Speaker 2: going to be wiped out now in South Carolina. The
- 1:39Speaker 2: number of Catholics there, they're a very religious The attacked
- 1:42Speaker 2: the pope. It's it. He's going to be wiped out
- 1:44Speaker 2: South Carolina. It's over. His whole presidential bid is of
- 1:48Speaker 2: next day. He won South Carolina one big. This doesn't
- 1:52Speaker 2: affect anything. Normally, you shouldn't fight with the pope. In
- 1:55Speaker 2: this case, he's absolutely right. This pope, real left wing
- 2:01Speaker 2: political pope. He hate to see that. We like to
- 2:03Speaker 2: see a nice, moral religious pope stay in his lane.
- 2:08Speaker 2: But this pope defending the biggest terrorist regime on Earth.
- 2:12Speaker 2: I mean, you can't believe it, but he, you know,
- 2:14Speaker 2: see the left wing pope. So what are you gonna do.
- 2:17Speaker 3: We believe strongly in law and order, and he seemed
- 2:21Speaker 3: to have a problem with that. So there's nothing to
- 2:24Speaker 3: apologize for. He's wrong.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a Mamdaniish sort of a pope. He defends
- 2:29Speaker 2: the criminals, he defends Iran, he defends uh hey, By
- 2:33Speaker 2: the way, there's a TikTok video that's come out that's
- 2:36Speaker 2: going viral. You won't see it on the network news,
- 2:39Speaker 2: you won't see it in the fake news. It's an
- 2:41Speaker 2: Iranian somehow he leaked this out from Iran. But it's
- 2:45Speaker 2: quite a powerful TikTok video. It's too long to play
- 2:48Speaker 2: on the air. You have to watch all things about
- 2:49Speaker 2: five minutes. But he explains that President Trump is not
- 2:52Speaker 2: at war with Iran or its people. The Trump is
- 2:58Speaker 2: at war. The United States is at war with the
- 2:59Speaker 2: most brutal terrorist regime that's been terrorizing. He says, us,
- 3:04Speaker 2: the Iranian people, we've been brutalized and terrorists terrorized by
- 3:08Speaker 2: this regime. We are so excited that we might actually
- 3:11Speaker 2: be freed from this terrorist regime. It's quite a powerful video,
- 3:14Speaker 2: even some liberals putting it up, even the crazy Lucy
- 3:18Speaker 2: Arnez posting it saying, you know what it's made me think,
- 3:22Speaker 2: and maybe I've been a little hasty about all this. Anyway,
- 3:26Speaker 2: The Pope picture, yeah, the Pope a fight, the Pope argument.
- 3:33Speaker 2: It's all you're gonna hear for two days. In fact,
- 3:35Speaker 2: I was watching the NBC Nightly News last night the
- 3:37Speaker 2: network news. Guess what the lead story was, the Pope
- 3:42Speaker 2: and Donald Trump Trump attacks. This is the lead story.
- 3:45Speaker 2: They're trying to make something out of this certainly was
- 3:48Speaker 2: not I it's something you might do in the newscast.
- 3:51Speaker 2: It's not the lead story. But the war was like
- 3:54Speaker 2: the fifth story. But it's all going to be gone
- 3:58Speaker 2: in a few weeks, just like the last time. You
- 3:59Speaker 2: got no with another pope. Now, the Jesus picture are terrible.
- 4:03Speaker 2: You shouldn't do that, but he always does things you
- 4:05Speaker 2: shouldn't do. And I just you left wing Trump haters
- 4:11Speaker 2: out there, you just got to prepare yourself. You've got
- 4:17Speaker 2: to be realistic. You always do this. You get into this.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Now we got him, We've got him this time. This
- 4:24Speaker 2: is it. You just got to prepare yourself. About four
- 4:28Speaker 2: weeks from now, nobody is going to remember this. Maybe
- 4:31Speaker 2: two weeks from now, a week from now, it's going
- 4:33Speaker 2: to be over. Two weeks from now, nobody will remember it.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Four weeks from now, if you bring it up, nobody
- 4:38Speaker 2: will know what the hell you're talking about. You shouldn't
- 4:41Speaker 2: do that. Jesus, he does this. You know, there are
- 4:45Speaker 2: a lot of guys that just love to stir things
- 4:49Speaker 2: up and get attention. But normally, normally it's some guy
- 4:53Speaker 2: on Twitter. Sometimes it's a radio host. Sometimes they're just
- 4:57Speaker 2: looking for attention, so they resort to some stunt, some gimmick,
- 5:02Speaker 2: something trying to go viral, trying to get attention. You know,
- 5:05Speaker 2: you like these podcasters who are doing the show from home,
- 5:08Speaker 2: Megan Kelly or Tuck Across. They do that to try
- 5:11Speaker 2: to something outrageous so they can get get a lot
- 5:14Speaker 2: of headlines, get a lot of press, get a lot
- 5:15Speaker 2: of Maybe it'll help that people do that, but it's
- 5:18Speaker 2: unusual for a president to do that. He loves doing this.
- 5:20Speaker 2: He loves getting attention. Just when you've calmed down, just
- 5:24Speaker 2: when you've come down from Defcon one, he unleashes the
- 5:29Speaker 2: next thing. So that was the Jesus picture. You probably
- 5:32Speaker 2: shouldn't do that Jesus picture and his explanation.
- 5:36Speaker 3: I did first it and I thought it was me
- 5:38Speaker 3: as a doctor and had to do with Red Cross
- 5:41Speaker 3: as a Red Cross worker.
- 5:42Speaker 2: There, which we said, now, let's analyze that him as
- 5:44Speaker 2: a doctor. We've all been to a lot of doctors.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Normally they got a white coat on, Normally they got
- 5:54Speaker 2: some pens in the pocket the stuff that's going to
- 5:56Speaker 2: know they've come in with this red thing around them
- 5:58Speaker 2: and a big glowing light behind them. I don't know.
- 6:01Speaker 2: And was that a Red crossworker? I guess.
- 6:04Speaker 3: And only the fake news could come up with that one.
- 6:07Speaker 2: So I.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Just heard about it and I said, how did they
- 6:12Speaker 3: come up with that? It's supposed to be me as
- 6:15Speaker 3: a doctor making people better, and I do make people better.
- 6:18Speaker 3: I make people a lot better.
- 6:20Speaker 2: All right, it's not the greatest explanation, but the guy
- 6:25Speaker 2: is president of the United States. You get a little
- 6:27Speaker 2: busy when you're the president of the United States. You know,
- 6:31Speaker 2: even when you're doing this show or you're on the
- 6:33Speaker 2: air doing a show, you get very busy doing it
- 6:35Speaker 2: and you try, you know, you're looking for content, stories, clips,
- 6:40Speaker 2: to play pictures. Sometimes you're busy. You got a lot
- 6:44Speaker 2: of things going on, so you look at the story quick.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Maybe you read the first six paragraphs, but you didn't
- 6:50Speaker 2: read the last three. Maybe this video is very funny,
- 6:55Speaker 2: watch about a minute. Yeah this is really funny, post this,
- 6:57Speaker 2: but you didn't watch the last minute. So sometimes that happens.
- 7:01Speaker 2: That's if you're just a normal person. You imagine the
- 7:03Speaker 2: president of the United States, in the middle of a war,
- 7:04Speaker 2: in the middle of eight thousand things in that oval office,
- 7:07Speaker 2: a thousand people coming, and you get too busy, you're not.
- 7:11Speaker 2: He looked at it for a second and looked good.
- 7:13Speaker 2: He posted. You know, if he thought it's not like
- 7:16Speaker 2: somebody else where, you'd look at it. Look at it
- 7:19Speaker 2: a couple hours later, show it to a few people.
- 7:22Speaker 2: What do you think? None of that. It's a split
- 7:25Speaker 2: second decision. So you probably shouldn't have shouldn't have posted it.
- 7:30Speaker 2: It's so again, just prepare yourself if you're a Trump hater.
- 7:34Speaker 2: In a couple of weeks, nobody will remember this. Nobody's
- 7:37Speaker 2: gonna remember the Pope fight. You remember. I think the
- 7:40Speaker 2: first time this happened was when he made fun of
- 7:42Speaker 2: John McCain. That's the first time I saw him all
- 7:45Speaker 2: over the airwaves. This is it. He's finished, the end
- 7:47Speaker 2: of his career. That's it. Nobody even remembers this. A
- 7:51Speaker 2: lot of people listening that don't even know what I'm
- 7:52Speaker 2: talking about. He made fun of John McCain. Forget it.
- 7:56Speaker 2: It's a long time ago. So otherwise, it was very,
- 8:00Speaker 2: very good day. The blockade of Iran is brilliant, brilliant.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Now we're in these negotiations. The only leverage Iran had
- 8:12Speaker 2: is the Straits of Hormuz. They keep them closed. Now
- 8:16Speaker 2: the truth is behind the scenes, it's better for us
- 8:19Speaker 2: if they're closed because we don't use that oil. The
- 8:21Speaker 2: rest of the world uses that oil. We use our
- 8:23Speaker 2: own oil. So if it's closed, Ran can't make any
- 8:29Speaker 2: money because that's their revenue exporting oil. Straights of Hormose closed,
- 8:33Speaker 2: they can't export anything, no revenue coming in. And as
- 8:36Speaker 2: long as it's closed, it was making us a lot
- 8:39Speaker 2: of money because many of those countries had to suddenly
- 8:42Speaker 2: start buying from us. With that closed, we were the
- 8:45Speaker 2: big supplier of oil, so we a lot of countries
- 8:48Speaker 2: started buying American oil for the first and so it
- 8:50Speaker 2: was helping us. So that was their leverage. Though it
- 8:52Speaker 2: looked bad, you know, having it closed, but we decided,
- 8:55Speaker 2: you know what, we'll close it. And again it's the
- 8:59Speaker 2: scene from a Bronx tail with the bikers where he's
- 9:03Speaker 2: trying to throw them out. Then finally he locks the door.
- 9:05Speaker 2: He goes now you just can't leave. So that's what
- 9:08Speaker 2: we were doing with the Straits of Hormus. As long
- 9:11Speaker 2: as it's closed. Iran is in major trouble. There's no revenue.
- 9:15Speaker 2: That straits of Hormus is ninety five percent of the
- 9:18Speaker 2: revenue of the country. The longer its shut, the more
- 9:21Speaker 2: problems they have. It will be totally out of money
- 9:24Speaker 2: pretty soon. Now. They got all kinds of problems already
- 9:27Speaker 2: in Iran. There's a water shortage, there's all things going on.
- 9:29Speaker 2: The banks don't have any money. The whole financial system
- 9:33Speaker 2: is in jeopardy. If we keep thus straights closed, the
- 9:36Speaker 2: currency will collapse. It'll be the end of Iran. So
- 9:38Speaker 2: they have to negotiate. They'll have to come back to
- 9:42Speaker 2: the table. Hey, here's the only bad thing we've seen
- 9:44Speaker 2: in these negotiations. It's coming out now what the negotiation was.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Iran was agreed to no nuclear anything for five years,
- 9:58Speaker 2: which is more than I thought they would ever I
- 10:00Speaker 2: agree to. But it turns out what we were asking
- 10:02Speaker 2: for was no nuclear anything of any kind for twenty years.
- 10:08Speaker 2: But I don't like that at all. That's just kicking.
- 10:10Speaker 2: I mean, you're talking about kicking the can down the road.
- 10:13Speaker 2: That's kicking the can a lot farther down the road
- 10:15Speaker 2: than anybody ever did. But it's still kicking the can
- 10:17Speaker 2: down the road. It should be permanent, not twenty years.
- 10:21Speaker 2: So I don't like that part of it. But they'll
- 10:24Speaker 2: get back to they'll get back to negotiating at some point.
- 10:27Speaker 2: So and again, if you're watching the fake news, everything
- 10:31Speaker 2: is a disaster, even the New York Times, well, obviously
- 10:35Speaker 2: the New York Times, but even the Wall Street Journal,
- 10:38Speaker 2: you're getting totally deceived. If you read here's Gerard Baker.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Brilliant guy, A lot of respect for him, but but
- 10:45Speaker 2: here's his a big headline. For now at least, the
- 10:49Speaker 2: Iran war seems to be failing. It's another one convincing
- 10:52Speaker 2: we're losing. It's I mean, Gerard Baker's like the New
- 10:55Speaker 2: Tokyo Rose. Here the New York Times. The Iran blockade.
- 11:01Speaker 2: It's a test of which side can endure more pain.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Well again, it's only a Ran that's enduring pain with
- 11:08Speaker 2: that blockade. We actually make more money with that blockade.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Everybody has to buy our oil now. But the New
- 11:14Speaker 2: York Times trying to scare everybody. Some oil companies are
- 11:17Speaker 2: planning now for one hundred and seventy five dollars a barrel.
- 11:20Speaker 2: There's no oil company that's ever thought of one hundred
- 11:25Speaker 2: and said they're worried it could go to one hundred
- 11:26Speaker 2: and ten. That's about it again, New York Times, Trump
- 11:31Speaker 2: administration backlash, Pope attack, the attack on the pope. The
- 11:37Speaker 2: backlash is unbelievable, all right now here, if you're reading
- 11:40Speaker 2: the New York Times, you wonder how your liberal friends
- 11:42Speaker 2: get so insane. Bid a huge New York Times piece yesterday,
- 11:47Speaker 2: President Trump's erratic behavior in recent days, more and more
- 11:53Speaker 2: people around him thinking that he must be removed from office,
- 11:58Speaker 2: that he's gone completely crazy. Nobody thinks that around Susie
- 12:03Speaker 2: Wilder doesn't think that. Scott Besson doesn't think he's erratic behavior.
- 12:08Speaker 2: But the New York Times it's a very serious article,
- 12:11Speaker 2: and they quote these professors with glasses and bow ties,
- 12:15Speaker 2: and then they say Democrats, who've long challenged mister Trump's
- 12:19Speaker 2: psychological fitness, have issued a fresh chorus of calls to
- 12:23Speaker 2: invoke the twenty fifth And now here's the funny prop. Well,
- 12:27Speaker 2: that's pretty funny. Here's the even funnier prop. Even Republicans
- 12:31Speaker 2: are questioning his extremely erratic behavior. Really, which republicans. We'll
- 12:37Speaker 2: let me look. If you look into the story, the
- 12:39Speaker 2: Republicans are Marjorie Taylor Creen. So remember she was that
- 12:45Speaker 2: wacko congresswoman who had to quit. This is who they're
- 12:49Speaker 2: quoting as an authority. Then they quote Chuck Schumer. Mister
- 12:53Speaker 2: Trump is an extremely sick person. Hakim Jeffreys, he's unhinged
- 12:59Speaker 2: and out of control. Well, you see, they've got excellent,
- 13:01Speaker 2: unimpeachable sources there. Hey, Eric Swalwell is going to resign now.
- 13:07Speaker 2: The emotion has been started to expel him from Congress,
- 13:10Speaker 2: and the reason it looked like the expulsion could be
- 13:14Speaker 2: very successful. So the reason he has to resign. If
- 13:17Speaker 2: you're expelled, you get nothing. If you resign, you keep everything,
- 13:20Speaker 2: your pension, the money, healthcare, the whole thing. So that's
- 13:24Speaker 2: why he will resign first, to keep all the money
- 13:28Speaker 2: to pension, everything. He's got big problems though. He's still
- 13:32Speaker 2: facing major criminal charges here in Manhattan. Alvin Bragg has
- 13:37Speaker 2: indicted him, so he's got to deal with that. If
- 13:40Speaker 2: you look through all these allegations, looks like very serious stuff.
- 13:45Speaker 2: And it's pretty clear in Congress, the Democrats, even the Republicans,
- 13:49Speaker 2: they knew about it. They knew about his behavior. It
- 13:52Speaker 2: was well known he was as Mooe Green would say,
- 13:55Speaker 2: banging cocktail waitresses too at a time. But even worse
- 13:58Speaker 2: than that, harassing women all over the place. Many Republicans
- 14:03Speaker 2: and Democrats in Congress sing, everybody knew, don't let him
- 14:06Speaker 2: anywhere near any of your female staffers. And horrible, horrible situation,
- 14:12Speaker 2: you know. And then you got this other. This is
- 14:14Speaker 2: a Republican Tony Gonzalez. He's got to quit an affair
- 14:18Speaker 2: lewde texting scandal, and it was so bad with one staffer.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Are you talking about a bad breakup? This is the
- 14:26Speaker 2: worst breakup I've ever heard about. He's harassing this woman.
- 14:28Speaker 2: I don't know. He's having an affair with the woman
- 14:30Speaker 2: having an affair. Whatever happened, she was so upset she
- 14:36Speaker 2: set herself on fire. She went in her backyard and
- 14:39Speaker 2: set herself on fire and burned up in the flame.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Now that's that's about the worst breakup I've ever heard about.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Her widow, they were both married. I guess it's going
- 14:51Speaker 2: after Gonzales and he's demanding that he'd be held accountable.
- 14:55Speaker 2: He'll have to leave. And then now he's from Texas,
- 14:59Speaker 2: Republican Governor Hill the point another Republican, same thing, with
- 15:03Speaker 2: Swall Wealdy's from California. So the governor, a Democrat, will
- 15:07Speaker 2: replace them with another Democrat. So it doesn't change the
- 15:09Speaker 2: makeup of Congress. But these guys that you know, part
- 15:12Speaker 2: of the prom in Congress. A lot of these guys
- 15:14Speaker 2: get elected and they go to Congress and the family
- 15:19Speaker 2: generally is back home and they you know, you don't
- 15:22Speaker 2: make a lot of money in Congress, but you got
- 15:24Speaker 2: a lot of expense because you've got to live in
- 15:26Speaker 2: your home district and you got to live in Washington,
- 15:29Speaker 2: d C. It's very tough to have two residences. So
- 15:34Speaker 2: a lot of them sleep in their office. I mean,
- 15:37Speaker 2: it's unbelievable. They sleep in their office six in the morning.
- 15:40Speaker 2: You can see them going into the bathroom to shave
- 15:42Speaker 2: and brush their tea. It's awful. Some of them, they
- 15:46Speaker 2: you know, roommate up and get like seven of them
- 15:48Speaker 2: in one little apartment. It's a lonely existence for a
- 15:51Speaker 2: lot of these guys, away from their family Monday through Friday,
- 15:55Speaker 2: and that's what happens. They get involved with staffers, they
- 15:57Speaker 2: get lonely, they get involved with women. The lobt throw
- 16:02Speaker 2: dozens of great looking women at him. You go to
- 16:04Speaker 2: any big event Washington, you know there's tables are ten
- 16:09Speaker 2: all over the room. You always see one table it's
- 16:12Speaker 2: got three or four the hottest looking twenty somethings you've
- 16:15Speaker 2: ever seen sitting with a bunch of creepy old men,
- 16:18Speaker 2: and you know right away that's the lobbyist table. The
- 16:21Speaker 2: lobbyists go to these events and they bring some really
- 16:24Speaker 2: hot looking women, which gets everybody to come over to sale,
- 16:26Speaker 2: over to their table, and they introduce the congressmen to
- 16:29Speaker 2: these hot looking women, and it's one of the ways
- 16:32Speaker 2: they lure them in to their lobbying firm to get
- 16:35Speaker 2: things done. Anyway, Well, hey, we'll take some calls in
- 16:38Speaker 2: a moment. Eight hundred three to two one zero seven
- 16:41Speaker 2: ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 16:45Speaker 2: seven ten.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Get instant access to Mark by setting a pre set
- 16:50Speaker 1: in the iHeartRadio app for his live show and his podcast.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simone show on Loaway.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Let's take the call. Let's go too. Let's go to
- 17:02Speaker 2: Loretta in Beautiful Rye, New York. Loretta, how you doing okay?
- 17:06Speaker 4: How are you good?
- 17:08Speaker 5: I'd like to comment on the pope. We need an
- 17:11Speaker 5: exorcism in Rome. I'm sick of these priests coming out
- 17:16Speaker 5: with all this crap instead of taking care of the
- 17:19Speaker 5: Catholic Church and doing what they're supposed to do. I
- 17:22Speaker 5: don't think this is going to affect Trump in any way.
- 17:26Speaker 5: I know many many people feel that this is terrible
- 17:30Speaker 5: what they do.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Yeah, no, the pope totally inappropriate. Just stay in this lane.
- 17:33Speaker 2: You know, it has no effect on President Trump. He
- 17:36Speaker 2: did this before with the last pope a few years ago,
- 17:39Speaker 2: same thing. This is it. He's finished. You can't fight
- 17:41Speaker 2: with a pope, Yes you can. It's terrible you would
- 17:45Speaker 2: have to. But again, pope totally out of line, defending
- 17:48Speaker 2: the biggest terrorist regime on Earth. Let's go to Kay
- 17:51Speaker 2: in Manhattan, K.
- 17:52Speaker 6: How you doing, Hello, Well, thank you Mark. I just
- 17:58Speaker 6: have to say that this pope is very similar to
- 18:00Speaker 6: his predecessor Francis, and I do not think the curious
- 18:05Speaker 6: Catholics have a lot of respect, have a lot of respect,
- 18:10Speaker 6: or have a lot of respects for.
- 18:13Speaker 4: This pope.
- 18:13Speaker 6: As you're saying, it's true he's very left leaning and
- 18:17Speaker 6: that's not what a pope is, what a real pope is.
- 18:22Speaker 6: And when you can think of the suffering in Iran,
- 18:25Speaker 6: the suffering of the hangings, the torture, what they do
- 18:30Speaker 6: to the women. What is this pope defending? What is
- 18:35Speaker 6: he talking about? There is such a thing as a
- 18:38Speaker 6: righteous war.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Yes, him, hypocrisy. They left this famous for he is
- 18:45Speaker 2: the pope, He's still the pope. But you're right, and
- 18:47Speaker 2: that's a good point, k Yeah, and he should you know.
- 18:50Speaker 2: And the big argument against him is where the hell
- 18:52Speaker 2: was he for the last four or five months when
- 18:55Speaker 2: Iran was slaughtering people in the streets. They shot thirty
- 18:59Speaker 2: thousand protests, shot them right in the streets. Some of
- 19:02Speaker 2: them didn't die, They ended up in the hospital. This
- 19:04Speaker 2: is absolutely true. They sent the Republican guard into the hospital,
- 19:08Speaker 2: the ones that were alive and in the hospital. They
- 19:10Speaker 2: sent the Republican Guardian to the hospitals to shoot these
- 19:14Speaker 2: patients right in their bed. Where was this pope then,
- 19:18Speaker 2: totally silent about that. Let's go to rich Myrtle Beach Rich,
- 19:22Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 19:24Speaker 4: Hey? Thanks Mark. These lovely women have pretty much toole
- 19:26Speaker 4: my thunder. I mean, it even proves that even the
- 19:29Speaker 4: Pope isn't immune from TDS syndrome, you know what I'm saying.
- 19:31Speaker 4: So it's all about that you know, and the Catholic Church. Listen,
- 19:35Speaker 4: I'm preface it by saying, you know, I was raised Catholic,
- 19:37Speaker 4: but I haven't been to church since I was like
- 19:38Speaker 4: sixteen years old. But you know, every generation is getting
- 19:42Speaker 4: fed up and more fed up with the pope as
- 19:44Speaker 4: they become more political. Instead of just doing what they're
- 19:46Speaker 4: supposed to be doing, they're becoming more woke and more
- 19:49Speaker 4: left leaning, instead of being a conservative organization like the
- 19:52Speaker 4: Catholic Church always was. And as far as this uh
- 19:55Speaker 4: swallwell thing is concerned, nobody could call them out because
- 19:58Speaker 4: every single one of them is guilty the same thing.
- 20:00Speaker 4: That's why that even my kookie congresswoman down here, Nancy Mace,
- 20:04Speaker 4: had the right idea of putting up that bill to
- 20:06Speaker 4: expose all of them, and they don't have to go.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Yeah, well, it is a mess. The worst people in
- 20:12Speaker 2: Congress Democrats and Republicans, a lot of bad sleeves balls
- 20:17Speaker 2: in Congress. Hey, and not all Catholic leaders are back.
- 20:20Speaker 2: You look at the Cardinal Dolan. That's an example of
- 20:24Speaker 2: how you should behave. He was outspoken on everything except politics.
- 20:30Speaker 2: He stayed out of partisan politics or that sort of stuff.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Let's go to Pat Scarsdale, Pat, how you doing?
- 20:37Speaker 7: Hey?
- 20:37Speaker 8: Mark.
- 20:38Speaker 9: Nora o'donald this morning on the CBS show was going
- 20:43Speaker 9: over all of the Catholics that are in the cabinet,
- 20:46Speaker 9: and her contention was that this thing is going to
- 20:50Speaker 9: hurt Trump on the midterms. Now, our family. I just
- 20:53Speaker 9: want to say, my family, we're all called carrying Catholics,
- 20:56Speaker 9: and everyone is furious at the Pope, not Trump.
- 20:59Speaker 2: Yeah, no, no, it's it's Nora o'donald. That's Nora o'donald.
- 21:03Speaker 2: They've been doing the lead story on the nightly news
- 21:07Speaker 2: last night, the Pope, the fight, the few of the President.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Trump attacked the Pope. We've been through this before with
- 21:13Speaker 2: the previous Pope and President Trump. It'll be forgotten about
- 21:17Speaker 2: in two weeks. Nobody will remember it. Let's go to
- 21:20Speaker 2: Bob and New Rochelle. Bob, how you doing?
- 21:23Speaker 6: Oh good?
- 21:24Speaker 4: Mark?
- 21:24Speaker 7: I just want to thank the dear Lord. Every now
- 21:26Speaker 7: and then he throws us a bone. Years ago it
- 21:28Speaker 7: was Elliot Spitzer, and then it was Anthony Wiener, and
- 21:30Speaker 7: now it was the testable O Swallow. I don't normally
- 21:34Speaker 7: take join people's I'm doubtful, but he's just so unlikable.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Yeah, he is one slimy guy, this swallow. When you
- 21:42Speaker 2: read these accounts and the things that are uh that
- 21:45Speaker 2: have come out, it's just horrible. Now, remember he can
- 21:48Speaker 2: resign from Congress, which will save his pension and all that.
- 21:51Speaker 2: But he's facing criminal charges in New York City. It's
- 21:56Speaker 2: Alvin Bragg who But the all looks very orchestrated. It's
- 22:01Speaker 2: taken out Eric Swalwell. It looks paid for, packaged. All
- 22:06Speaker 2: these allegations which people knew about for years, all of
- 22:09Speaker 2: a sudden exploding at once, this criminal case. And it
- 22:12Speaker 2: looks like it's coming from the Democratic side of the
- 22:14Speaker 2: aisle for whatever reason, they want this guy gone, so
- 22:18Speaker 2: he's not out of the woods. Got to get through
- 22:20Speaker 2: these criminal charges in Manhattan. Hey, when we come back,
- 22:23Speaker 2: we always bring you the smartest people on earth. Steve
- 22:25Speaker 2: Forbes will be with us next and get a lot
- 22:28Speaker 2: to talk about with Iran and oil prices, the economy
- 22:31Speaker 2: and all that. Will get to that next on seven
- 22:33Speaker 2: to ten. Wor mister New York Mark Simone war Well.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Steve Forbes, the chairman of Forbes Media and author of
- 22:46Speaker 2: many great books. You should get his latest book, Inflation.
- 22:49Speaker 2: You will really learn a lot. Highly recommended Steve Forbes's
- 22:52Speaker 2: latest book, Inflation. You can get it on Amazon course
- 22:55Speaker 2: read Forbes Media. Steve Forbes, how you doing.
- 23:00Speaker 8: Doing fine? Thanks? I'm in Arkansas today, sunny Arkansas, so
- 23:05Speaker 8: I think they have warm weather here. You have warm
- 23:08Speaker 8: weather there. So, And the Yankees won a game last night,
- 23:13Speaker 8: so a little close, eleven to ten. Judge had two
- 23:16Speaker 8: home runs, so life could be worse.
- 23:21Speaker 2: I hate to ask, but what are you doing in Arkansas?
- 23:25Speaker 8: Speaking at Harding University by Young Americans for Freedom and
- 23:30Speaker 8: great great conservative group, right thinking groups. So yeah, it's
- 23:35Speaker 8: nice to be in company of enlightened people.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Yeah. And Steve Forbes, by the way, one of the
- 23:40Speaker 2: great speakers in America. If you need somebody to make
- 23:43Speaker 2: a great speech for you, for whatever organization. But hey,
- 23:47Speaker 2: the blockade of the Straits of horn Moves is so brilliant.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Why didn't we think of that three weeks ago?
- 23:55Speaker 8: It should have been done at the beginning and things
- 24:01Speaker 8: thinking things through. They should have planned what would be
- 24:05Speaker 8: the reaction of China, Deal with that, reaction of Russia.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Deal with that.
- 24:09Speaker 8: But if Iran was going to close the strait, then
- 24:12Speaker 8: they'll say Okay, it's closed, everybody, and if you want
- 24:15Speaker 8: to get through, we'll let's come through. But we're going
- 24:18Speaker 8: to control that, so better late than never, And I
- 24:22Speaker 8: hope there's going to be some consistency now. And I'll
- 24:26Speaker 8: be blunt, I think we're going to have to resume
- 24:28Speaker 8: hostilities before we get a resolution of this conflict.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Sadly, you know what was leaking out from those negotiations.
- 24:36Speaker 2: I didn't really like that Iran wanted five years of
- 24:39Speaker 2: no nuclear activity. We wanted twenty years. Why would we
- 24:43Speaker 2: want twenty years? Why wouldn't we want permanent? Isn't this
- 24:45Speaker 2: just more kicking the can down?
- 24:46Speaker 8: Permanent like two thousand years? Yeah, and regime change in between.
- 24:52Speaker 8: Get a government that had the aspirations that people in
- 24:56Speaker 8: mind not. They're crazy, crazed, id, murderous ideology. You're right,
- 25:01Speaker 8: no five year, no twenty year thing. They made those
- 25:03Speaker 8: promises kind of promises before and they're not even worth
- 25:07Speaker 8: the paper they're written on.
- 25:10Speaker 2: But if we were to walk away with a deal
- 25:12Speaker 2: like that, twenty years with a timeline, that's a very
- 25:16Speaker 2: Obama is sort of a Ran deal, isn't it.
- 25:19Speaker 8: It's embarrassing, Yes, it is. Obama of two. John Kerry
- 25:23Speaker 8: would be in his mind vindicated. Worse though, it would
- 25:27Speaker 8: be seen mark as a victory for the extremists in Iran.
- 25:32Speaker 8: They faced all of this firepower from the United States
- 25:35Speaker 8: and from Israel. They survived and they didn't have to
- 25:38Speaker 8: give up the nuclear program. Everyone knows as soon as
- 25:41Speaker 8: the world's attention goes elsewhere, they're going to start doing
- 25:44Speaker 8: stuff they shouldn't do. And they're encouragible. They are dedicated revolutionaries.
- 25:51Speaker 8: They may be corrupt, but they are dedicated revolutionaries. So
- 25:55Speaker 8: doing letting that regime survive and having a timeline nuclear
- 26:00Speaker 8: weapons is a victory for them. They've lost militarily, but
- 26:05Speaker 8: they're going to win politically, and we cannot let that happen.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Well, things will change, things change very fast in this situation.
- 26:12Speaker 2: But again, that blockade is brilliant. It's even forcing some
- 26:16Speaker 2: other countries now to buy oil from US.
- 26:19Speaker 8: So well, we've got some oil coming from a place
- 26:22Speaker 8: called the last they look Venezuela. This is coming on
- 26:27Speaker 8: the market now and they're being able to rev that up.
- 26:31Speaker 8: But I just think and the President has to keep
- 26:33Speaker 8: making clear and the people have to keep making things clear.
- 26:37Speaker 8: This thing may take two weeks, two days, two months,
- 26:40Speaker 8: or whatever it takes. Given the danger that Iran posed
- 26:43Speaker 8: to our security, This is ultimately about our security. You
- 26:47Speaker 8: don't want a fanatical regime with missiles that were capable
- 26:50Speaker 8: of reaching the US, which they are making huge progress
- 26:53Speaker 8: on being able to make nuclear weapons very quickly. That
- 26:57Speaker 8: is an intolerable threat. And we know they'd use it
- 27:00Speaker 8: for blackmail. Then we know they'd probably use it against
- 27:03Speaker 8: Israel and say what are you going to do about it?
- 27:06Speaker 8: So we got to get that regime out. And the
- 27:10Speaker 8: sacrifices we make now are a fraction of what would
- 27:13Speaker 8: happen if that regime got nuclear weapons and the missiles
- 27:17Speaker 8: to reach.
- 27:17Speaker 2: The rest of the world. Yeah. Now, Steve Forbes, China,
- 27:20Speaker 2: if they're secretly helping Iran or working against us by aiding,
- 27:24Speaker 2: or if we could figure out then I'm sure President
- 27:26Speaker 2: Trump ken at some point figured out something that would
- 27:29Speaker 2: be beneficial to China. That would end that, wouldn't it.
- 27:31Speaker 2: They don't have any real loyalty to Iran, do they they?
- 27:35Speaker 2: What if we could, if the President could figure out
- 27:38Speaker 2: some way something really beneficial for China and all of this,
- 27:42Speaker 2: they would drop their secret support of Iran, wouldn't they.
- 27:46Speaker 8: I'm not so sure that China does.
- 27:49Speaker 3: Is not.
- 27:50Speaker 8: China's out to will become the dominant power in the world.
- 27:54Speaker 8: And one of the things we've allowed to happen is
- 27:56Speaker 8: they're continuing to build these man made islands in the
- 28:00Speaker 8: South China Sea.
- 28:02Speaker 2: They want to.
- 28:02Speaker 8: Control that the way the Ranians want to croach control
- 28:06Speaker 8: the Straight of hor Moves, and we have to make
- 28:08Speaker 8: it very clear that's not going to happen. And that's why,
- 28:12Speaker 8: again it's very important we're doing what we're doing in
- 28:14Speaker 8: the Straight or Hormoves. No one's going to control that.
- 28:17Speaker 8: Bad guys are not going to control that freedom of
- 28:20Speaker 8: the seas. It's been a bedrock of American policy for
- 28:23Speaker 8: over two hundred and thirty years and that's going to continue.
- 28:27Speaker 8: And so in terms of a China, I think we
- 28:31Speaker 8: have to make it clear we have there our interests
- 28:33Speaker 8: and we're going to defend those interests. They're not going
- 28:35Speaker 8: to become the global dominant power and they're not going
- 28:38Speaker 8: to take over the South China Sea. And again people
- 28:42Speaker 8: may say, oh, that's warlike, No it isn't. They're the aggressors,
- 28:46Speaker 8: not us. Americans would like nothing better than a peaceful world.
- 28:50Speaker 8: We can go to powd of doing our business, creating
- 28:52Speaker 8: great things moving ahead. But we've got bad guys in
- 28:56Speaker 8: the world.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Hey, Steve Forbes, the Moon mission really inspiring. It's fascinating
- 29:03Speaker 2: to what is it really necessary right now? What are
- 29:06Speaker 2: the real benefits of us going back to the moon.
- 29:09Speaker 8: Well, in terms of the technological feet, it's fantastic, as
- 29:14Speaker 8: we all known, people have never traveled as far as
- 29:17Speaker 8: those four astronauts did six hundred and ninety five thousand miles.
- 29:23Speaker 8: But unfortunately, the hell of war is coming to the heavens.
- 29:29Speaker 8: The weapons are being developed, the Chinese are doing it.
- 29:32Speaker 8: We're going to have to do it where they can
- 29:34Speaker 8: actually store weapons in space and aim them at the
- 29:37Speaker 8: United States, aim them at the specific targeting. This is
- 29:41Speaker 8: what's so frightening, only specifically targeting infrastructure projects, roads, electricity plants,
- 29:49Speaker 8: every sensitive thing from space. You don't even need nuclear
- 29:53Speaker 8: weapons to have a real disaster. So we have. It's
- 29:58Speaker 8: the new frontier. Sadly of war fair and so we
- 30:01Speaker 8: have to stay ahead of the Chinese on that. And
- 30:05Speaker 8: it's sad, but that's where we are. The heavens are
- 30:08Speaker 8: going to be a place of a warfare. Sadly, we
- 30:11Speaker 8: got to stay ahead of the Chinese.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Excellent point. Yeah, hey, you got a lot of too
- 30:16Speaker 2: far to the left sort of leaders from Mom Donnie
- 30:19Speaker 2: to Virginia is a good example of the Spamburger and
- 30:23Speaker 2: this could affect the midterms. There are people getting a
- 30:25Speaker 2: little dose of real left wing leadership and there's.
- 30:29Speaker 8: A little bit of a yeah, the Republican should hammer that.
- 30:34Speaker 8: And we got a little bit of it in New Jersey.
- 30:36Speaker 8: These people. Donnie didn't run as a moderate, but those two,
- 30:40Speaker 8: those two governors Spenburger and Mikey Cheryl in New Jersey
- 30:46Speaker 8: ran a promise or ran as moderates, and as soon
- 30:49Speaker 8: as they get in they run far left. Spenburger in
- 30:52Speaker 8: Virginia thinks she's going to be the next vice president
- 30:55Speaker 8: of president of the United States, but you know, her
- 30:57Speaker 8: numbers are cratering. And April twenty first, they have a
- 31:01Speaker 8: referendum for this crazy thing where they're going to obliterate
- 31:05Speaker 8: GOP representation in Congress. Right now, Virginia six Democrats, five Republicans.
- 31:11Speaker 8: They've rejiggered it so it would be ten Democrats one Republican.
- 31:15Speaker 2: But they have to do it.
- 31:16Speaker 8: By a referendum, and it looks like, given her unpopularity,
- 31:20Speaker 8: that referendum may go down to defeat. And in terms
- 31:23Speaker 8: of Mom Donnie, he announced the other day a thirty
- 31:27Speaker 8: million dollar grocery store next year in East Harlem. Grocery
- 31:31Speaker 8: store costs it most in New York, one million dollars
- 31:34Speaker 8: to set up. Where's that out of twenty nine million going?
- 31:37Speaker 8: And another question for this neo communist mayor, when people
- 31:41Speaker 8: come into his grocery store and start stealing the food,
- 31:44Speaker 8: is he going to arrest them? Well, what's he going
- 31:47Speaker 8: to do When people start taking that food? They're going
- 31:49Speaker 8: to say it's free. You know, he's giving it away.
- 31:52Speaker 8: What's he going to do about it? That's going to
- 31:54Speaker 8: be quite something to see. Hey, the other thing he
- 31:57Speaker 8: said it'll be won't be till open till twenty twenty.
- 32:00Speaker 8: You know, if you went to our friend John Katsumatisa,
- 32:03Speaker 8: could you build a supermarket there, I guarantee you'd be
- 32:05Speaker 8: there in three months, not twenty twenty nine. Sure. Sure.
- 32:08Speaker 8: So everyone's you know, as you know, mont Donnie's hiring
- 32:12Speaker 8: all these people doing god knows what but being paid
- 32:15Speaker 8: six figure salaries. So the waste is going in high gear,
- 32:20Speaker 8: going on steroids again. Grocery story you could do for
- 32:23Speaker 8: two hundred and fifty thousand million dollars. And by the way,
- 32:27Speaker 8: that grocery store that he's proposing pays no rent, pays
- 32:30Speaker 8: no taxes, and free land and they're going to lose
- 32:34Speaker 8: a ton of money. What's that other twenty nine million
- 32:36Speaker 8: going for?
- 32:37Speaker 2: That's what I want to know. Well, very good point. Well,
- 32:40Speaker 2: Steve Forbes always great talking you everybody. Get his latest book, Inflation.
- 32:44Speaker 2: It's a wonderful book. You'll really learn a lot from
- 32:46Speaker 2: that book. Of course, read Forbes every day and watching
- 32:51Speaker 2: Steve Forbes all over television. And we'll talk again soon.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Look forward to it. Mark, Thanks keep up the great work.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Thanks take care. I don't forget Buck and Clay coming
- 33:01Speaker 2: up a noon today, excellent show every day from noon
- 33:04Speaker 2: to three. Then you got the most listened to radio
- 33:07Speaker 2: show in America, Sean Hanned, he's on every day three.
- 33:10Speaker 2: Then you got Jesse Kelly at six. And you know,
- 33:12Speaker 2: we got a wonderful new show every night at nine.
- 33:14Speaker 2: It's really funny. It's a great show. It's Jimmy Fayla
- 33:17Speaker 2: every night at nine on seven to ten, w mars alone.
- 33:22Speaker 2: He's on seven ten.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Woo.
- 33:26Speaker 2: Well, hey, that terrible deadly shooting, mass shooting in New
- 33:33Speaker 2: Jersey at the Chick fil A. These guys walked in
- 33:37Speaker 2: and got behind the counter, started firing, shooting at people
- 33:40Speaker 2: injuring killing. Terrible, terrible thing. As of yesterday, we you know,
- 33:45Speaker 2: we had no idea why now police or law enforcement
- 33:48Speaker 2: sources saying, and they looked they think it was gang related.
- 33:50Speaker 2: They were after somebody, one gang after another gang member,
- 33:53Speaker 2: and that's why they went in to that Chick fil A.
- 33:55Speaker 2: They haven't caught the people yet, but terrible situation. So
- 34:01Speaker 2: you know, they got all that stuff, ozempic. There's a
- 34:04Speaker 2: whole bunch of those, a million of those sort of drugs,
- 34:07Speaker 2: you know, the injections, weight loss. New research coming out
- 34:11Speaker 2: saying tons and tons of side effects, are seeing all
- 34:15Speaker 2: kinds of stuff. There's a bunch of those. There's azempic,
- 34:18Speaker 2: there's with Govi, there's Manjaro, zep bound. Everybody tells me
- 34:23Speaker 2: the best ones to take Manjaro and zep bound, those
- 34:27Speaker 2: are the two you want less side effects. You know,
- 34:29Speaker 2: we can get take that ozempic. You'll lose a lot
- 34:31Speaker 2: of weight fast, but you get that ozempic face they
- 34:34Speaker 2: call it where you know your skin starts wrinkling and droopy.
- 34:37Speaker 2: So the better ones Munjaro and zep bound. But a
- 34:41Speaker 2: new study talking of thousands of users finding everything it
- 34:46Speaker 2: causes depression, acid reflux, sleeplessness, teeth, per gum problems. I mean,
- 34:52Speaker 2: he just goes on. The list is endless and not
- 34:55Speaker 2: to mention it costs a fortune too. Hey, we got
- 34:59Speaker 2: a lot to get in the next hour. We'll get
- 35:02Speaker 2: to mom, Donnie, We'll get to Hillary. There's a big
- 35:05Speaker 2: Hillary threat on the horizon. We'll get to that coming up. Hey,
- 35:10Speaker 2: you know I'm here ten to noon every day. But
- 35:12Speaker 2: if you can't listen ten to noon, you could listen

- 35:20Speaker 2: after the news. A whole lot more to get to
- 35:22Speaker 2: on seven to ten. WR
