Kyle Atkins, a hometown hero from Olathe, Kansas, is set to referee in the 2026 FIFA World Cup semifinal — and he’s not just stepping in, he’s got serious pedigree. One of eight American officials selected, Atkins has already called games in the NWSL, MLS, the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and last year’s World Cup.
